This is a new channel for us. It's CCTV. Uh, we found this video. It looked pretty good. If you want to see some more like them, go check them out. Pull over into this next lot on your [Music] right. Oh. Oh, we're not going to do that. Pull over into this next driveway on your right. This is not a request. Pull over now. And didn't pull into that driveway. Radio, we are still moving northbound. He is uh refusing to pull over into a driveway. Refusing to pull over. All right, we will now be eastbound schoolcraft from the van. Speeds are 35. He is getting on the ditch for 96 eastbound. We just attempted to. All right, we're just going to fail you to yield. Oh, use this turn signal. That's cordial. This is probably not this officer's first pursuit. Uh without any sort of prompting, he gets on radio, his communication's good, it's clear. Uh he's not amped up, he's not screaming on the radio. He gives great updates as to direction of travel, what the roads are, what the vehicle's doing, the speed, traffic conditions, uh all the things that that we're looking for during a pursuit. Um which this is kind of a failure to yield um because he wasn't really actively trying to evade. He just didn't want to stop. Um equally as as illegal and uh obviously this got the uh the appropriate response from Leavonia Police Department. I can't join 22 because I have my passenger. [Music] Copy. Uh yeah, boss. Just let me know. Technically pursuing, but we're uh we're eastbound 96. Speeds are 55. Traffic's medium. He's not trying to flee for me. He's just not stopping. Yep. Just a fair yield. [Music] Even other cars are like, I'm going to get out of the way. We're stopped in traffic. I'm going to try to get them out. Hey, you. Hey. Stop. Stop. Right now. Stop. Switch his hands. Stop the car. Stop. Break that window right now. Stop. Stop the car. Stop. Stop right now. Stop. Stop the [ __ ] car. Hey. What's going on? And why couldn't he break his window with his baton? probably holster that thing. There we go. That van's like, I don't want any part of this. Unbelievable. My windows out with my entrance in the back seat. So, this suspect knowingly and willfully put his child in danger. I mean, he was at gunpoint and this he doesn't seem to care. He doesn't seem to care that he did this to to his kid. Um that he put this kid in a position where if he would have driven that car at that officer, that officer would have shot him and very overwhelmingly justified. So, um, and he did that all like terrible dad. Like you're on a dad score, you get an F. Like you you are a terrible dad for putting your son in that position. So, and he didn't care. He didn't care one thing about it. So, you're a terrible human. Gota. So, can you do it? I'm asking for another officer or sergeant. Hey, you lost your mind, sir. I I told you that I was trying to safely make it to the police department. Yeah. No, you do not get to dictate where you stop. You do not get to dictate where you stop. If I don't feel safe, sir, unbelievable. Over here. You don't get to do that. Can I go inside the police department? Okay, I will. Oh, Leavonia. So, Leavonia is in Michigan and it rains in Michigan. So, cops in Michigan are used to working in the rain. I hate working in the rain. Hate it. I don't even I don't even know where my rain coat is right now. That's how little rain we deal with here in Arizona. So, kudos to this officer who's like, "You know what? It's raining and I'm still going to do this traffic stop." So, good for him. Okay. Like the cruisers. I mean, you guys did what I was supposed to do. Unbelievable. my phone. You guys are actually supposed to pull over. I didn't pull over. You guys I did pull over. No, you didn't. And then separate. Separate your feet. Separate your feet. You guys will be able to find out. I don't have any. Actually, it's not my way of violating my life. I just said I wanted to come to I didn't I just wave to you and let you know that I was coming to the police department. We're here because that officer has an ego. What are you guys cannot find? No, you're under arrest. Oh, you guys are I just got out of here, bro. This has nothing to do with ego. But wait, listen, listen, listen. I asked your seat. Oh, can I see you? You'll talk to him in the tail. Move your foot, dude. Okay. Yep. In you go. There we go. Seat belt for your safety. Hi. Hello. What was he doing? Well, we were on our way up here. He was leaving the tow yard. He went to get pick his van up in the tow yard and then he was coming up here. Okay. Is there is there any reason? Did he say any like do do we understand how wholly unacceptable that was? Yeah. Okay. Um I'm going to get you out of here very shortly. Okay. Um I've got your information. What's a good phone number for you? That was technically a car pursuit. I got to get everybody's information. Is it just little little guy in the car? Yeah. Gotcha. What is his first name? Live with you? Yes. Is that your your child? Yes. Okay. Is uh he the father? Yes. Okay. Hey, what's up? So, um he was driving, but the car is hers. She's got a kid in it. So, I was going to get her out of here. She can't take this car. It was used in a crime. You're going to have to call for a ride, ma'am. I'm sorry. We shouldn't have fled from the police. Here's what it is, man. So, they can come on into the station. They can call for a ride. Gather out of the car. This officer sounds like he wants to release the car to the registered owner who is the passenger. Supervisor's like, "Absolutely not." I I'm not mad at that decision. I mean, I I get it. Sometimes you need to be empathetic, but I also like this supervisor being empatheticless and saying, "No, this vehicle was used in a crime. It's now evidence of the aforementioned crime, and we're going to take it as evidence, and we're going to take your car seat out. You're going to go and wait. You're going to Uber home. Then you got to think about the kind of man that you allowed to be a father and the poor decisions that that guy made that left you without a car. So sit and think about that in our lobby. You can wait in our front lobby if you'd like and then uh suspect vehicles out of the city. I saw the jump out on them. That's how you find out after you mess around. did all that with a kid in the car. All right. Do you just want this big one here? Yeah. Okay. That's a terrible dad. That's your dad. Just make sure she doesn't take them. I'm no I'm sorry. Ma'am, do you by any chance have the keys or does he have them on him? Okay. He probably has them on him. Leave the car key with the car. Yeah. And then uh the key will stay with the vehicle. [Applause] These guys probably already asked you, but why was he stopping? Uh, he wanted to come. Yeah, he just wanted to come here. He said he didn't feel safe stopping, so he wanted to come here. So, he didn't feel safe stopping for the police, so he came to the police station. Yeah, cuz we were already coming up here. Okay. I feel like this passenger should have taken a more active role in this. She should have been like, "Our son's in the car. Pull this thing over right now. Stop. listen to the cops and maybe you won't go to jail. But instead of giving this guy advice, I mean, look, I'm old. I've been around a lot of women. They're right. They're right a lot of the time. So, I mean, in this particular instance, she could have given him solid life advice like, "Hey, stop for the cops. Pull parallel to the rightmost curb. Um, put your flashers on. Listen to them." instead this happens. But she's just as much to blame because she didn't stop him and she in no way said, "Hey, I told him to stop 15 times and he didn't." I would have been a little I would have been empathetic to that. But I am empatheticless when it comes to her just being a party to this ridiculousness, this tom foolery that we just watched. So I'm kind of glad that her car got towed. I stopped for that officer twice. Let him know I did not feel safe stopping. He's speeding us to that place and they're trying to trespass me because they're trying to stick us with prices and you guys are not giving out cards. Nobody's responsible, but we're we're accountable for paying for all these like that's sick. That's not how you do business. And it's all over their website that you guys suspect. Yep. That's stuff for cords. All right, come on in. That guy's been there before. He's just super comfortable there. Walks right into his little He's definitely been there before. You go and have fun. I will. Can I have your CO, please? Can I speak with your CO? Sure thing. Just so you know, you're not going to get anything different.
