You're very also we're going to talk more once we get to the police department. Serious. And I'm giving you my name for what I live in this complex. This is a private complex. There's no way that you should be arrested in. But that's fine. I'll take that for it, too. Okay. That's fine. Thank you. Don't search me though. What's that? You searched me illegally. Yeah, your body count should have it. Searched. Search what? Your body should have it. Yeah. Search what? Yeah. A female should have all of them. We're going to study. Yeah. Thank you. Walk very legally. Okay. Male officers are Yeah. Whatever. We'll see about that. Go ahead and stand at the counter. Yeah, I'm here. Okay. Once I take the handcuffs off, put your hands on top of the counter for me, please. Sir, I'm sure that about the hands. I'm telling you what to do. Thank you. So, thanks. Like this? Yep. Once I said I said once the handcuffs come off. Well, thank you very much. Now, can you take your coat off for me? Yes, I could. And where's the female? Nope. Go ahead. I'm not going to search you right now. The female. I'm not going to search. Did you pick your coat for me? Email cuz if I'm getting I'm not searching you right now. Can you pick your code up for me right now? If I'm getting under arrest. Nope. I just wanted you to take the code off. So, real quick, while we're standing here, I'm going to read this to you since you are under arrest. Okay, that's fine. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You should have said that when you arrest me. Too bad I don't hear you. Oh my god. Uh uh uh uh uh uh. Call your manager. It's not going to happen, love. I know my rights. And y'all is not going to play with me. Sorry. Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh. Y'all put them handcuffs on me. Then tell me my rights then. So I'm able to walk up out of here right now. Please don't play with me. Call your manager. Hello. Are you ready to act like a grownup? Hello. Help. Hell. Okay. So, you're going to be charged with DUI as well, baby. So, ain't no DUI cuz you won't see me. Well, you won't even let me talk to you drinking based on your behaviors. You're going to be you're leading me to believe that you're supposed to be when you put the handcuffs on. I didn't ask you any incriminating questions. You didn't bring me. So, I'm reading your rights now. Are you willing to love? Stop. Get somebody up in here cuz I ain't trying to hit. At the station, the woman didn't stop protesting, sarcastically commenting on the officer's schooling and legal knowledge, insisting they violated her rights. That's way I told you. I trained to be a police officer. You don't know the law. What are you going to ask? How come I don't? Because I ask you any questions once you did not. Did you not see it on my record? I'm going to school right now. Doesn't show that. I'm going to school right now. You clearly know nothing. Can you listen to what I'm trying to tell you? me when you put my handcuffs on. You did it. You waited till I got here supervisor. Ma'am, listen for a second. Ma'am, stop talking and listen for a second. If you're going to school, I would probably drop out now cuz you're going to fail terribly if you think you know. But I didn't yet stop in that class. Well, that's So, do you want to know what class I'm going in? No, I don't. So, are you going to listen? You supposed to You supposed to um Miranda me? Miranda? You don't even know the word. There's no way you're top of the class. So, I know the word. I just can't pronounce it. Right. There's several words. It's not nothing that you sever. There's several words you supposed to did that when you So, what we're going to do is um you can either you can either cooperate with this process or Hey, you didn't like him cuz he wasn't wearing a white shirt. No, you can leave the code on the counter. I didn't tell you where you could put that. Okay. You can put me in the cell. I need you to take your supervisor. I need you to listen. Ask him, "Do you supposed to Miranda me?" Take your necklace off. Your necklace jewelry. Your necklace. Not your shirt. Your necklace. If you're not going to listen. Oh, I'm listening. You're not listening. You haven't listened this entire time. You're not going to bring me my right. Put your necklace on the counter. I'm listening for sure. But you supposed to did your job out there before you handcuff. Ma'am, I would like you to pay an attorney and tell them what happened so that they can say thank you for the free money that they're about to give you. I'm going to pay a lot. I I'm sure you will. And it's going to be for nothing. Oh, no. It's because you don't know what's going on right now. And what's your name? My last name is Flurry. It's going to be on the documents. D10 is my badge number. It'll be on the documents. Okay. Flory. I'm sure you'll forget that because you're drunk. Right. Yep. Go ahead and put the necklace on the counter. You'll probably forget that because you're drunk right now. I swear to God I'm not. Well, I promise you I'm not. Would you like to do some tests to show that you're not? I will. Okay. Can I read you this first? No. Okay, that's fine. Read me. Would you like to read? We can uh we can do some tests then if you're okay with that. You told me that we could do some test then if you're okay with that. No, I'm going wait till my lawyer come. Okay, that's fine. Can I call somebody? Uh not right now cuz I promise you I got a lot of lawyer. Okay, that's fine. And I'm going to do all that. Oh, that's Yeah, I would recommend it. Oh, really? Will? Yeah, they need to get paid too. So Mhm. They will. Yeah. You just worry about where you're going. Okay. Besides you, bro, mandizing me, mandizing. Yeah, you have the right to this and that when you did that, you should have did that when you put my handcuffs on. That's how that goes, too. So, I don't know. I don't know if you're very familiar with case law. But with Miranda, it's once you're in custody and I ask incriminating questions, you should have did that before. Oh, okay. You did that. You Oh, cuz you saw it on that one cop. What did you arrest me for again? Oh, for obstructing obstructing a peace officer. I gave you a lawful order to hide your name because legally required because you're on a traffic stop because you were stopped in the middle of the roadway. So, can you please continue with your jewelry? I was stopped in the middle of the roadway the roadway that you guys were stopped in front of. No. Yes. Uh, just so you're aware, do you have a female officer coming back here to search you? Hold on. I wasn't done. I wasn't done. But just so you know, cuz they obviously didn't teach you this in whatever class you're in. It's not a requirement to have a female search. It's not a legal requirement. No male should. It's not. Well, unfortunately, that's not a legal requirement. That's a requirement. No male should touch it. It's not a requirement. So, just so you're aware, we'll figure that out. Well, that's what it is. I get done with this. Yeah. But I'm telling And I'm going to be on that, too. That's what it is. There you go. Right there. Can I go in here? Nope. Not yet. We're having a female officer come and search you. Okay. Can you take the uh bandana out, too, please? Thank you. All right. Any other jewelry or anything? No, nothing. Nothing. The cops noticed the woman was disoriented and asked her to perform some tests. She made excuses about her condition, but still went ahead with the breathalyzer test. If we had another officer come in to see if you're intoxicated, would you be willing to do some tests? I mean, intoxicated. Yeah, because I believe that you're under the influence of alcohol. I don't know why you do. Because the smell of alcohol, your eyes are glassy, and you're stuttering your speech. I do smoke. Okay. When did you Okay. And I did that when I was where I was just at and I pulled up to come back to my unit. Mhm. Which where I live where you pulled me over at cuz that's where I live at. Sure. Um Yeah. Okay. Would you be willing to do tests? No. Okay. At that. Okay. Valentina, do you want to go in one of these cages or do you want to go in this cell where you can have like a bathroom and stuff? You might have to pee because you've been drinking, so I don't know. I haven't been drinking. Okay. You think we should do that over there? But thank you for Oh, yeah. I guess we don't even need fields. So, I have suspicions before. So, actually, we are going to come over here. Valentina, what's your name? Detective Klein. Okay. That ought to be on my paper, right? Um, it'll be on the Yeah, I need George on there, too. Okay. Um, if you'll let me just stop interrupting for a second. All right. Well, then don't then don't worry about my name if you're just going to interrupt. I think you would have a lot of the answers you're looking for if you just stop interrupting. And what's right? I never did this before, so I don't know. Like it by by So just all you got to do a lot of people like they stick their tongue in front of it or they don't like have like a long consistent blow. Just long consistent blow into the thing until it clicks and you'll be People put their mouth on it. Nope. It's brand new. I just stick it under the plastic. Oh, okay. Yeah, you got this. There we go. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Don't Just blow. Blow. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Putting your tongue in front of it. No. You know, you know how when you blow up a balloon? Exactly what this is. Okay. So, did you see the bar that was that went up right there? You want that that bar to get like right here. A typical person that's blown up balloon can get it to like right here. Okay. And you're only getting to like right there. Okay. So, it's just a little tiny breath that's getting into that, too. Keep going. Don't stop. There you go. Don't stop. Don't stop. Okay. So, uh, now what this means is that technically since it was three tries, it would be a refused test. Would you want to try again? What? Yeah. So, it only the machine only allows you three tries, but if you're willing to try again to show I will try. So, the machine shows it was an insufficient sample. So, it just means you weren't providing enough oxygen. Okay. So, would you like to try again? We could set the machine up again if you'd like. I'm I'm just going to do that. That's crazy. And I just did this all this time. I was willing to do it. But it was instead I denied it because it was an insufficient which means not enough amount of breath. So that's just what that means. So are you willing to try again or no? Yeah, I will try it again. Okay, we can set it up again. It just takes a minute to set it up and we can try again. So So if you look at me real quick, just listen to me. So deep breath and then the woman continued with the tests and the outcome led to one more charge being added to her record. continue to blow until the machine will click and then you're good to go. But if you if you don't do a strong enough or if you don't do it long enough, the machine's going to say that you're not trying. Even though you might think you're trying, but you just got to do it the way the machine wants you to do it. You know what I mean? Don't stop until I tell you to stop. All right, go ahead. Keep going. Keep going there. There we go. Okay. You started strong, but then you're in. You were right there. Don't it Don't use your tongue. Don't keep blowing. There you go. Keep blowing. Keep blowing. Keep blowing. Okay. It's going to be a refusal. No, I didn't take it. Um, just sign this copy and I'll meet you with the others. And then we'll sign this one too and give her one. Just to show that we give her, too. Like 12 times. I'll do it again. No. It It doesn't take people that many times. So, I've done this plenty of times with people where um you know, more three is plenty. Um six is definitely plenty. So, if you can't get it by six, I did it. You did six. So, I could do it again. No, that's okay. Um we're we're it's just going to have to be a refusal at this point. Six is too many. I don't typically give people a second opportunity um because they usually get it on the first three tries and you weren't able to do that. So, um it is going to be a refusal. Okay. Um, so in the meantime, I have to finish up some paperwork um with all my name and information on it so that you have that. Um, so that when you talk to your attorney, you can give them all my information. My lawyer. Oh, yeah. Yep. Attorney, lawyer. They're synonymous. They mean the same thing. Um, synonymous means the same. Um, so I will uh make sure all my information is on that. In the meantime, I'm going to have you come over and sit in the cell while we get the paperwork done. Okay. The woman was charged with obstruction, DUI, and traffic violations. Now, these daring suspects, Hernandez and Hurst, thought they could take on the cops. When they pointed their weapons, the officers didn't back down. It was game on. And the cops turned the tables in a life ordeath showdown. On the ground now, stay right there. On February 6th, 2025, Illinois State Police officers were alerted to a vehicle suspected of being involved in an armed robbery in Texas. The vehicle was reported to be traveling on Interstate 74 in Champagne County. Suspect your hands. Lay down on the ground. On the ground now stay right there. Stay on the ground. Like I'm showing one one and then we got one in the car that's been shot. We're trying to get his hands one in a car there from We want to get some help to you, but we got to see your hands. At this tense moment, officers tried to reason with the suspect, urging them to roll out of the car and get help for their injuries. Roll out of the vehicle. You have to. You have to do it. Help, man. We will help you. Roll yourself out of the vehicle onto your belly right now. Drop whatever's in your hands right now. I'm telling you right now, man. Come on. Roll yourself out onto the ground and we will help you. brought ourselves out of the vehicle onto the ground. Now, we can't help you unless you do that. Okay. Command units are heading north. If you sit there, you will bleed out and die. If you roll out, we get you medical help right now. It's not worth dying. Roll yourself out. We can help you. Okay, come on. No, it's We want to help you. We want to help you. Roll yourself out. That's all you can do right now. Then roll out. We'll help you. This is not the way to go. This is not the way to go. Roll yourself out onto the ground. We'll help you. Do it now. One person now. This is it. You got to do this now. Only one choice. We'll help you. We'll get you medical help. I can't see his right hand. Do not move. Do not move or you will get shot. You will get shot. My hand is empty. Eventually, the cops subdued the suspect, spotting the gun in their possession. Meanwhile, officers assess the suspect's injuries, preparing for medical care. Don't move. Is he bleeding? Kick it. Kick it out. Help. Help. All right. Send medical. Where's he bleeding from? Yeah. Oh my god. [Music] There's a bullet right there. Fell out of his shirt. I stopped the bullet. You need I'm going to go get my uh shot at I can't tell. I don't I mean a bullet [Music] bullet. There's a little bit back here. They were staging. They have everybody inside. Please not. Okay. I'm trying, man. Help. Um so then she goes, she's like, "I need a vape." And she's like, "Is it in the touch tunes?" And I was like, "No, honey, it's not in the touch tunes. Like there's a vape machine right there." And she's like, "Okay, can you help me with it?" I was like, "No, like I'm working." Right. And then I'm already losing my patience with them cuz they're rude. And she goes up to the vape machine. She's like, "I put in $22 and I didn't I didn't get anything out of it." I was like, "I have nothing to do with that machine. Like, I don't even have a number for it. I don't have a key. I can't take money out of it. They put it in there. It's stupid. Whatever." And she's like, "Well, you're the one that told me to use it." And I was like, "You asked me where it was. I told you where it was." So then she comes behind the bar and she starts to get in my face. The suspect denies the accusations, insisting she was just defending herself. When the cops arrived at the store, they wasted no time arresting Logan Kle. Surprisingly, during the search, they discovered he was potentially hiding a weapon. Back this way, back this way. Pull your hands out of your pockets for me, K. Pull your hands out of your pocket, dude. Let's go. Pull your hands out. Don't be dumb. Don't be dumb. Yeah. What's this? Fist. Poke up your fist. Put up your fist. You're going to go into handcuffs right now because you wouldn't follow our commands to keep your hands out of your pockets, which makes us worry and then it worries us. So, we're going to make sure. I'm going to double lock these so they don't cinch up on you. Okay. Do you have any weapons on it? What do you have? Where? Right there. And that's why you pull your hands out, right? Cuz if we see that, that could have been super bad, bro. That could have been terrible. Getting a restaurant. I already explained it to you. Right now, you're being detained. That gun stolen. Good thing that is accurate. Good thing. Can you go ahead and stand up for me? and head out this way in here. Right. Yes. I have some discretion when we're talking about, you know, stealing some property. I don't discretion when it's a second degree. Little power. All right. laugh all you want. It's funny. Sure it is. Cuz you want to blame the cops for your mistakes. Super weird. I'm blaming you for the uh face the car for me. Where were you at? None of us have. But it's our fault. Oh, it's our fault that he had a stolen gun and stole from Walmart. Yeah, it's our fault, man. I'll try to put in a request to have you do different things next week. Okay, Logan, do you understand why you're going to jail? Oh, no. Okay. Well, let me explain it to you again. a jail seconddegree felony for possession of a stolen firearm, misdemeanor A, carrying a concealed weapon without a concealed weapons permit. Stole, and retail theft because you stole from Walmart. Is that even worth $25? I don't have any idea. They haven't they haven't added it up yet. But how can they charge me? It's not even worth that much. Yeah. I don't know what I don't know what state doesn't charge people for thefts under $25. But in Utah, if you steal some, if you take something without paying for it, it's called theft and you can be charged for it for 99 cents. You're not getting thrown in jail for the retail theft. You're getting stolen thrown in jail for the secondderee felony. I tried to explain that to you as we walked out here, but instead you wanted to start calling me names and telling me off. If you'd like, I'm happy to explain it to you. Would you like me to explain to you? I'm sorry. I think it's enough. Kle argued with the officers, calling them names and denying any ill intentions, even as the officers tried to explain the situation. Okay. So, I've got my questions that I have to ask. Do you now understand why you're going to jail? No. Okay. From your encounter with me and the other officer, are you sick or injured in any way? No. Okay. Do you have any questions for me? Excellent. All right, man. A couple of things. Um, anything on you that I didn't find that the jail's going to find? Okay. Uh, I'm going to assume since you already talked about a lawyer that you don't want to talk to me without a lawyer present. That'd be a safe assumption. Ask me for Okay. Do you want to talk to me about the stolen gun? Cuz if so, I've got to read your rights. Since you already asked for a lawyer, I'm assuming that you prefer to have the right to a lawyer. If you'd like to talk to me about the stolen, then we can have that conversation. I bought it privately. I don't know where it was stolen or who stole it. That's all I got to say about it. So, no point in me reading your rights because that's all you're going to say about accurate. Yeah. Okay. Uh, last thing, dude, you can hate me all you want, but I'm still shaking from the fact of you not cooperating initially and having a gun on you. Like, that's so dangerous, bro. Think I was going to shoot you? I don't know, bro. Like, how am I supposed to know, right? You've got a gun on you and you're not pulling your ambushed me at the door like a bunch of cowards. Would you rather us have chased you down? Safely as possible the door. That's right. State code talks about that if you pass all points of sale after you've concealed items, that's when we're allowed to stop you. So again, if you want to have legal discussions, then freshen up on your legal and we can do that. But I'm trying to explain to you and I'm trying to warn you because you know you you're not going to stay in jail forever. And if you have if you have a gun on you, chances are you're going to go get another gun after this. My point is is that it's super dangerous to not cooperate 100% when you have a gun on. Like, it's even more important. I didn't know I was being arrested. It was just sweatshirt and some little bag. Why would I start immediately? Hands up. Why would I do that? I didn't say hands up. I said pull your hands out of your pockets for me, please. That's exactly what I said. And it's all on camera. And you kept your hands in your pockets, right? All I'm trying to do, dude, you can argue with me all you want. I'm just trying to warn you for the future. Okay, I just go to jail. Step out. Just face the car right here for me and I'll grab your hat for you. Can I button up my shirt? This stupid big guy. You cops love humiliating humiliating you. That's why I'm doing what? All right. Keep it unbuttoned. All right. Ask me to do you a favor and then start calling me names. That's super how you get favors. Shut up. Now I'm a coward. Okay. Yeah. Three on one ambushing me at the door, putting me in handcuffs. Called safety. And I'm glad that that was the case because you had a [Music] How would you propose we do that differently? How about you give me a chance so we can fight? If you were in my If you were in my shoes, that's what you want. Yeah. Okay. Manto man. Okay. Basically, first off, you wouldn't stand any chance whatsoever. Good. Another D prison. Okay. Well, then I guess I'm glad that I didn't force or you didn't force me. Go ahead and walk. I'm glad you didn't force me to have to use that kind of force. Logan Kle was charged with stealing a firearm.
