The truth came crashing down in a way she never expected. If you enjoyed the video, please give us a thumbs up. On April 12th, 2025, officers arrived after a mother reported her daughter refusing to leave the apartment. The daughter acted innocent as the police questioned her about the disturbance. Even after being told her mother wanted her gone, she refused to comply. It is. That is your name. I remember dealing with you. >> I'm not fine. You go ahead and start. >> You requested. >> Yes. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. All right. >> Don't clean that up yet. >> I'm not I'm not going to touch you. Yes, sir. >> All right. Swear to God, on my life, I don't want to disrespect her. >> Why? Why are you back here? This my mama house. >> Okay, she don't want you here. >> Okay, so she don't want me here, man. What I supposed to do? >> The suspect tried to act clever in front of the officers, pretending she didn't care about going to jail. Police moved in and arrested her to take control of the situation. A search was conducted to check if she carried any dangerous weapons. >> What you doing with me? You taking me to jail? >> Did you write who where that where did the feces come from in your mom door? Are you taking me to jail? >> Did your wife >> That is my mama. >> Okay. I don't give a going to jail. So, take me to jail. Come on, let's go. >> All right. >> Why is your Why does your hand smell like poop? >> You take me to jail cuz my mama is my mama. >> That's not the reason I'm taking you to jail. Come on. >> My mom ain't going to do >> Yep. I'm going to be out of jail in two days >> cuz that's my mama, man. That's my mom. >> Okay, >> you be happy. You You just want to do something. I'd be happy to go to jail. 2 and 25 is your head suspect vehicle. >> Your puss doing you going to take me to jail? I'm getting right back out. Thank you. >> I I I'm I'm used to going to jail. I'm I love going to jail. >> Officers tried to process the suspect, but she screamed as they attempted to take her photo. She argued non-stop and even spat at the police. They placed her in the van to transport her to the station. >> They were earlier, same girl from earlier with the mom and woman here or whatever. She doesn't live here. I go in there scoop all smeared all over my door. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And I'm just like, "Okay." All right. So, she's in the back of my car right now. >> You know she did it. >> Yeah. She >> has over here. I'm just like get up out of here. Turn her around so I can take some pictures cuz my mama That's my mama. your mama. Go ahead. Look how calm I am. We pass the comp. Honey, >> we're up. >> Turn back this way. >> Okay. What I'm doing, sir? What I'm doing? >> Wait. >> Let me get your hair out the way. I don't want you here. >> You got poop on your jacket, too. >> You got poop on your mouth. >> All right, honey. Turn back around so I can switch cuffs on you. All right. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. Go ahead. Stick your arm out for me. >> There you go, love. Oh, it's going to be a little bit tight for a second. >> I don't care. I'm I'm used to going to jail. That's what you don't understand. Like, I'm so used to going to jail. Like, this jail don't scare me. >> I've been in jail 15. I've been in jail for 30 days, a year. I'm scared. I ain't scared to go to jail. >> Wash my hands. You got anything on you that's going to poke or stick me? Honey, >> you don't do that. >> You spit on me. >> You spit on me. >> You don't do that. Well, tell him get out of my face. >> All right. Add another charge. >> Where's that booking? >> All right. >> Huh? >> Is it Is it on me? >> Uhuh. >> I got you. I ain't going to let you fall. I got you. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Mhm. Watch your head. Oh, >> the suspect was charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, and aggravated assault on a police officer. The next suspect believed he could assault his partner and walk away without consequence. He acted as if his actions were justified. What followed proved him wrong in ways he did not expect. On May 26th, 2024, the Penllis County Sheriff's Office rushed to the airport after reports of a potential incident. As officers arrived, they quickly began gathering information from airport staff. Tension grew as the details of the situation started to unfold. Okay. [Music] [Music] What if she said he was recent? I missed the beginning button. >> Oh, we're in the middle of the demo. Behind her hit the button for us. So >> Oh, okay. And then you got there. She said that. Okay. >> We typically don't go on and get people off the plane. Can you come ask him to come off? >> Then we'll have to go talk to her. >> Yeah. >> She's going down there. I'll talk to her over here. [Music] >> Officers approached the victim to get details about the incident, but she struggled to explain. Another woman who had witnessed everything stepped forward. Her account revealed shocking details to the police. >> How's it going? >> So, uh, what happened? [Music] But it was so drama. >> Yeah. What what what occurred that this made this happen? >> I guess came back to it. >> Oh, you know each other? >> Yeah. >> Oh, wow. I didn't know. They didn't tell me that. >> Thought they were strangers. Oh, okay. Do you have your ID with you? >> Thank you. >> Was this the current address over there in Topeka? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You guys are just flying home. You guys on vacation? Okay. So, what you guys are arguing about finances, he said, and >> what uh what led him to was sitting next to you? >> I have to relive it. I'm sorry. Yeah. >> I can tell you. >> Do you guys know each other? >> No, I was just in high school. >> Oh, okay. So, what what did you see? >> Uh they had been fighting pretty loudly and cursing loudly and There was a table in between them. So they were like this and the middle seat was open and I think they were fighting over Reese's >> family. Okay. >> Um and then he bought me lunch and um sharing with each other like that. And then um I did hear him say, "Why don't you come here closer so I can punch him in the face?" And that's when my two daughters were right here and they could hear everything. >> Yeah. >> And so at that point, I can't say, well, they did not see it. >> I did not see the this initial one. I don't know if he hit her or she hit him. Some altercation went down. I couldn't see it. I could only go by what I heard. >> You were behind it. You the seats were in the way, I guess. >> Yep. And I could see the, you know, between them. Um, and then it kind of they cooled off for a little bit. So I thought, okay. >> Yeah. >> And then it kind of got fired up again and then that's when he hit her and then they and I did see that. >> Oh, you saw that? >> That 100%. >> Yeah. And then she turned around and asked me to hit the >> You hit the call button. Um, do you mind if I write down your ID or you have your information with you or all this motion is now in place. So, we always have to go over >> I wish I didn't see it cuz I don't have time for this either, but >> right. >> I hope she's okay. >> But I did hear I did not see that's why I can't say he was saying that she came first. I don't know. I didn't see it. >> Okay. Well, you for sure saw him. [Music] Um, >> I don't know. >> They'll reach out, but they won't. You know, they'll they'll call you. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Police documented the victim's injuries and collected all details from her. They explained the situation carefully as the investigation unfolded. Every photo and statement added to the growing tension at the scene. >> Today or want to >> I want to go home. >> You want to go home? >> Okay. because I have to do a couple things before that occurs since this is now domestic violence, right? If you two are strangers, you go on the plane, he doesn't, we call it a day, no big deal. But since you have a child in common and you're dating, it's a domestic battery allegation. I have to listen to him. I have a witness saying it occurred. So, um, where is your where were you struck there? Does it look it painful right now? Do you have any other injuries? >> Storm right here. >> Okay. Uh I have to I have to photograph it. And then can you look right at the camera? You don't have any injuries to your hands or anything. So what occurred at first prior to her seeing? Was there a physical altercation prior to that? >> Argumentation on finances. >> Was it physical prior to him punching you that she saw? >> No, just verbally and he Yeah. >> So you were only struck to your one time in the face? >> Yeah. Um, >> that's not the first time. >> Okay, I have to give you the case number and one other thing >> and I have to go talk to my corporal. >> I haven't done one of these out, you know, on my rant before. Um, got a few things I have to do. Officers removed the suspect from the flight and began questioning them. As they gathered details, a surprising truth emerged. The suspect and the victim were revealed to be family members. Hi. How you doing? [Music] >> So, you two are together. >> We're together. We live together back in Kansas. >> We didn't know if it was just a fight between two people on a plane or a kid together. It's 3 years old tomorrow. Next week, our kid is three. We're arguing about money and she backhanded me. >> So, I freaked out and backhanded her back. I didn't mean to do it. So there's a reaction basically. Just come out and have a seat for a second. >> Park him in there though. >> Park him there for now. >> Where? >> Anywhere. Right here to the right. Do you have a ID on you so I can get your information? >> Oh yeah. >> Got to behave in front of people. >> I'm sorry. >> Oh, that's all right. >> But when she backhanded me, I freaked out and re and didn't understand what was going on. So, I reacted and I did it, too. And a lady saw me do that behind me. [Music] >> She'll tell you she did it first. Probably. >> Probably. >> Maybe. I I don't know. >> Who knows? >> A weird thing for me. So, >> I know that I don't have anything on my record. So, >> okay, that's good. had a couple overdue guys, but that wasn't right or criminal was. But >> I mean, nothing. I'm not messing with people basically. >> Okay. >> Like I said, I had a stroke a couple years ago. It's changed life. I used to play basketball in Iowa and run 5 miles a day. And since the stroke, it's been difficult. >> Police informed airport staff that the suspect wasn't scheduled to fly that day. They escorted him outside and began inspecting his backpack. The search raised alarms as officers checked for illegal substances. >> He's not flying. >> No. >> Okay. I just need to get his >> Yeah, he's not get his last name. I just need his information. >> She's not fine, too. All right. >> She's fine. >> She belted me first. >> I mean, come on. >> Um, I got to take that and put it on the head. Oh, it's heavy. >> Here. Hop over here. Wow. Handcuffed. >> Can you turn my car off? I >> mean, obviously you just went through TSA. >> Save me through a marriage, though. >> What do you mean? >> I'm not marrying her. >> We have a three-year-old, but >> I got to put you in handcuffs, buddy. >> Uh, second set. >> I can't move very well. So, I know >> I had a stroke. So, let me see if >> uh Yeah, put that bad boy on there. I like the master. He's clean and she's backhanded. She backhanded her back when it's in the back row. So, I haven't smacked her. So, it's 34 38. Are they going to let liquor bottles go into jail? >> I don't think so. Right. >> The suspect insisted he hadn't done anything, but the truth told a different story. Officers handcuffed him and led him to the police cruiser. He was transported to the station for further processing. >> As cooperative as we can with you. >> I wish she was honest with you guys. I mean, come on. >> She said you hit her and the witness said you hit her and no one saw her. >> She does cuz she wants money. I mean, come on. >> I know. But I mean, >> I wouldn't hit anybody unless they hit me first. I mean, come on. I mean, it's my life, but it's not your life. >> I know you don't understand that, but >> understand >> I freaked out and the wrong thing and reacted. >> What did they say? >> No alcohol, no razor. >> You know that? >> No. >> No. Yeah. Um, those little shot bottles of alcohol that you have in there can't go to the jail with you and your razor can't go with you. >> Okay, I'm fine with that. her alcohol anyway. >> That's why she drank earlier. That's why she's all drunk and tapped me. >> Did we ever even breathwalize her before she got on the plane? >> Unfortunately, al being her being drunk is not, you know, an issue. It's that we have an independent witness who said they saw you hit her and no one saw her hit you. So that's that's what I mean. We're just going by the facts that we're given. You know, we weren't there. You could be 100% correct. We don't know. We weren't there. You just told this lady told us that you hit her and she said you hit her and they both denied she hit you. So, we just got to go on the facts. You know, we don't know. >> I know you're doing your job. Like I said, my son is a cop, but this is >> I mean, just because a witness is blind and doesn't see anything, doesn't make me guilty. I know I have a judge for that, but come I was going to say, yeah, right now you're just see. Yeah, you go see the judge. >> She's going to go home and I'm going to see a judge when she airport or the west Kansas City airport. No ride home cuz I have the keys in my truck and my truck is in the >> Oh my god. >> Well, hopefully she realizes she made a mistake and she doesn't press charges or doesn't follow through and you know, it all gets dropped and dismissed. But that's the best case. >> She press charges and I go to jail. >> Well, she doesn't have a choice. See, if it's a domestic in the state of Florida, somebody goes to jail. So, since we have an independent witness that said, "You did the striking, you go to jail." Now, the suspect was charged with domestic battery. The next suspect was even more disturbing, convinced he was clever enough to escape consequences by denying his actions. His overconfidence set the stage for a shocking turn. What happened next would prove him wrong. On October 28th, 2023, a motorist tried using unusual legal arguments to avoid a routine traffic stop. Officers informed him he had broken the law by not wearing a seat belt and asked for his license, but he refused to cooperate. Tension built as police prepared to take further action. >> Like I said, when you passed me, I saw you. Um I didn't see a seat belt on you and you have a white shirt that's dark and it was clear and wearing a seat belt. Okay. Um, may I see your license registration, please? >> A license like or a driver's license? >> Yes. >> Although I'm not commercially operating or I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. >> Uh, you drive it on the road. >> Oh, yes. But drivers have to be uh commercially licensed. If you're driving, that means >> you are driving. >> Well, that means you're operating in a commercial capacity. >> No, you drive in a vehicle, sir. >> Like there's driving and then there's traveling. >> There's driving a a vehicle. I see a driver's license. Well, I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. See what I mean? Traveling, sir, >> is not driving. >> Sir, we're not going to do this. Are you >> We're not going to do this. >> Yes. Do you have a driver's license? >> What do you mean we're not going to do this? >> I am. I'm asking you to see your driver's license. >> Well, I'm not I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. >> You operating a vehicle? And to drive a vehicle, you are required to have a driver >> vehicle. >> Oh, what is this? >> This is a automobile. >> Y K9. Are are you escalating? >> No, I'm trying. All I'm asking is for your driver's license. >> Yes. Well, what I'm saying is my license has been lost. >> Why? 10 cent maybe 94. >> I've lost it. Physical copy. >> Okay. So, can I have your name so I can look it up? >> Uh, sure. I mean, have I broken a law? >> You are driving with no uh not without a seat belt, sir. >> But I mean, is that >> Yes, that is that is a law. You have when you operating a vehicle, you're supposed to >> you're supposed to have a drive uh a seat belt on. You're supposed to drive belted. >> I mean, I'm not aware that I'm driving. I'm sorry. >> I'm sorry. Not aware that I'm driving. >> Okay. So, can I have your name? >> Well, I mean, in order to identify me, you got to suspect that I've committed a crime. >> Sir, you are driving with no seat belt on. I pulled you over. You're going to escalate >> and I'm No, I'm not escalating anything. You are the one. You This would have been over already. >> See? Well, I got to make sure that you know >> this would have been over already. You are driving a vehicle and you are required to have a driver's license to drive a vehicle. This is a vehicle. You're driving it. >> Okay. So, that's that's all it is. >> Okay. So, may I have your name? If you don't you say you don't have a license. May may I see uh can I have your name so I could run your name to see if you have a violent driver's license? Well, but before you run my name, see, >> I already explained to you. I'm not going to explain it anymore. >> I suspect that I've committed a crime. >> You were driving without a seat belt. Even when I approached the car, you didn't have a seat belt on. Okay. >> Well, can you prove that I wasn't wearing a seat? >> Yes, I saw it. >> Can you prove that though? >> I saw it. You have a You have a white shirt. >> I had my seat belt on. >> You have a white shirt. The seat belt is gray. And when you pass right in front of me, I saw it and you didn't have it. And you're driving very straight. So, it's not like you're leaning back and your seat belt is low. Okay. So, I saw it. >> How did you know? >> I was facing you when you passed me. >> The suspect argued with officers, refusing to answer properly. He challenged the police, claiming they couldn't prove he hadn't worn a seat belt. His defiance set the stage for a tense confrontation. >> So, I was aware that I had my seatelt on. >> You didn't have 325. Can you copy an agency for EMS for Addison Drive? would have been over >> being aggressive with >> So I'm asking you, >> may I have your name so we could finish this and I could go on my way and you could go on your way. >> Okay. So if do you have a driver's license? >> Telling you I lost it all. >> Okay. You don't have a registration either. >> What do you mean? >> For the vehicle >> like a f of cell and >> no a registration for your vehicle being registered. >> Oh, cuz it's just been purchased. >> I got the bill of sale here. >> Okay. Let me see it. Well, >> before I show you this, I mean, you have to prove to me if I ask, you know, to give me a reasonable, articulated crime. >> I already told you that you have >> You have to show me. Look, here's no my I saw you. That's good enough. >> I saw an I saw a violation. I saw an infraction. I'm asking just the agent on that. >> You could take it to court if you want. You could take it to court and we could prove it over there. I know what I saw >> and I saw you with wear white shirt. It's a it's is a dark gray. >> Yeah, but you have to prove it to me. >> I don't have to prove it. I I saw it. >> Yeah. You can't just tell me that. Hey, I I think that you were doing this. >> I didn't say I think. I saw you. I said I saw you >> habit for me to always put my seatelt on. >> Sir, when you pass me, you didn't have it. And right now, you've been you this would have been over already. >> This is would have been over. >> I'm being calm and collective. >> I understand that. And I am too. But but right now you're not about my rights here. >> Yeah, I am too about enforcing the law. >> Well, see that you're you're enforcing legal codes. >> Sir, >> laws are different. >> Sir, it's an infraction to drive in in Florida. You need a driver's license. >> But if you're traveling, that means you're not operating in any commercial. >> Sir, we're not going to do this. >> Do what the law >> go back and forth. I ask you for Do you have a driver's license? >> I'm telling you, I lost it. >> Okay. What is your name? So, what is your name? So, I could run it. I could I could figure out what you if you have a valid driver's license. What if I know your name? >> The suspect handed over his vehicle papers while officers collected his name and personal details. The investigation pressed on with every step adding to the mounting tension. What would unfold next kept everyone on edge. >> Sure. >> Thank you. See, this is not difficult, sir. >> Fine. I bought it. >> Okay. Uh-oh. Another Let me guess, another five officers are going to show up. It depends. Can I see the VIN of the vehicle? It's covered right now. >> Oh, well, I guess they have it covered. >> It's on the title. >> Yeah, but I want to make sure it's this one. It's covered right now. >> Oh, I see. Get that out of there. >> What's that? >> I don't know how to get that out. >> Okay. >> So, you are Jason's. And what's the date of birth, Jason? >> The date of birth? >> Yes. >> Okay. I stay stay with him a little. I got to go get my notepad. Oh. >> You have a middle name, Jason? >> Do what? >> You have a middle name? >> No. >> And your license is from what state? >> Uh, my license that it's a Florida license. >> It's a Florida license. Okay. But when I run it, I want to make sure that that's what I'm looking for. >> Okay. >> All the How much does the copy? hard copy. >> You lost everything. >> Everything. >> And I and I get it. And but I have a way to double check that. That's why I was asking for your name. >> Yes. >> Okay. Now, you just purchased this vehicle. >> Just purchased it. >> Okay. And the tag was that on that vehicle? >> Everything that this vehicle is is the way they had it. >> Okay. >> I loaded all my stuff in it. But this right here and then that right there, they already had it on. >> Okay. And um are you do you reside here in Port Charlotte or you are you just were passing by? Just passing by. >> Okay. So no, cuz I see the the uh the vehicle is from uh another county. So >> yes. >> Okay. I'll be right back. >> One officer returned to the police van to verify the suspect's license while another continued the investigation. The suspect maintained his innocence, acting as if he had done nothing. Tension built as the officers pieced together the truth. >> Where did you buy the van? >> Probably Craigslist. >> Runs good, >> I think. So, >> what are you doing for work? >> Your name and badge number? >> Newer 3725. >> Newer 3725. >> Yep. >> What do you do for work? >> Uh, what do you do for work? Law enforcement. >> Law. Law enforcement. >> You do construction. >> Do what? >> You do construction? >> No, I'm pretty much uh taking a break right now. >> Where are you taking a break from? >> Work. >> Okay. So, I mean, for the record, when I ask for him to prove and show me, you know, the reason as to why he pulled me over, he has to do that. He can't just, you know, tell me, well, trust me, take my word for it. >> Okay. >> Am I right? Isn't that the law? Isn't that your policy? >> I mean, obviously, he seen something that was legal to pull you over for. >> Good thing when I asked to show me proof as to why you're pulling me over, you have to provide that. We don't have to show you proof. >> You don't have to show me proof. >> How are we going to show you proof that you weren't wearing your seat belt? You'd have to take it to court in court. >> Oh, I don't know where you were when he pulled the traffic stop. If his camera was facing you when he drove by, I didn't even know. Yeah, you know, there's an officer pulling me over until I look behind the rearview mirror and it's like I have my seat belt on. I always put my seat belt on. I have to wear my seat belt. >> I don't know. I wasn't there. I just showed up. I can't say yes or no. >> But when I'm wearing a seat belt, I mean, is that committing a crime? >> Technically. >> Technically, that's a crime. >> It's a law in the state of Florida wear a seat belt. >> It's a traffic code, not a law. >> No, it's a law. It's a law. >> Yeah. In >> the state of Florida, Florida state statute says you have to wear a seat belt. >> That's a statute. Statutes aren't laws. >> What are they? >> They're statutes. They're penal codes. They change as often as they want to change. Laws are things that don't change. Like gravity, it's a law. Doesn't change. Sun uh shining, it doesn't change. It's a law. >> Okay. >> Penal codes can be changed as often as uh you want. >> Oh, yeah. So you have legal and law. Law and legal. >> Okay. So there's a legal requirement for you to wear your seatelt while you're driving a vehicle and stay in Florida. >> That I'm not a I'm not driving in any commercial capacity. >> You don't have to be. Anybody passenger vehicles have to wear a seat belt? >> Yeah, but that's for drivers. That's the commercial operator. >> Are you not a driver? >> No. >> What are you? I'm a traveler. >> The suspect tried to act clever in front of the officers, ignoring multiple chances to show his identification. Police pressed on, checking the vehicle and asking if anyone was in the back seat. Every refusal and hesitation raised the tension at the scene. >> Suspicion that you have committed a crime or about to commit a crime. Therefore, I must identify you. But unless you've committed a crime, by law, you can't just identify people because you suspect or you think they've committed a crime when you have no proof of it. >> I wasn't in his vehicle when you drove by. No, but I'm telling you in order to do that, in order to identify, first you have to suspect that a crime has been committed. >> So, are you providing a false ID? >> Have you suspect Do you have proof that I've committed a crime? >> Uh, I wasn't there, but he does. Obviously, he pulled you over for it, right? >> Who's back there, by the way? Anybody back there? >> My pup. >> That's it. Is there a person? >> Are you escalating things? No, I'm asking. I want I want to know if someone's back there. I don't know if someone's back there. >> Do you suspect uh >> I don't suspect, but I heard you talking to somebody. >> Do you suspect them of committing a crime? >> I'm just my lady. My lady. >> Okay. >> All right, >> Jason. This This is what's going to happen. Okay. I'm giving I giving you every opportunity to identify yourself. Okay. I'm giving you an opportunity to provide me with your name, driver's license, and you are refusing to do that. If you're driving with no license, you >> driving. I'm not. >> You are driving, sir. >> I'm not. I'm traveling. That means that I'm not operating in any commercial. >> I don't I don't want to take you to jail. But that's the way we're going to go. If you are refusing to identify yourself, >> I'm cooperating with you. You're supposed to deescalate. >> I I am deescalating. >> I gave you the not coming back to anything. >> I gave you the bill of sale. >> I gave you the title. What you wanted >> and I asking you for your name and try and identify you. Say you have a driver's license. Doesn't come back with any record. >> I'm not driving. >> You are. >> I've lost the driver's license. I've lost >> it. It doesn't matter. It's still in the computer. is still in the system. We could still still tell if you had a driver's license ever. It's not coming back to anything unless you're not giving me the right name. So, right now, you are the one making this go a different route. >> You said that you're pulling me over for not wearing a seat belt. Then you escalated to, well, I need to make sure this is yours. >> No, no. I asked you for a driver's license. ated that from me being pulled over for you suspecting me not wearing to if this is a stolen or if this is >> No I I if I'm going to write a ticket if I'm going to write something I need those paperwork with you. Okay. That's why I ask you for the paperwork and if you were to produce if you producing a license I write a ticket and and let you go on your way. You're not allowing me to do that right now. >> I don't have it any copies. >> But I we but there's a way to double check. >> I don't have the license physical copy. So, I'm going to ask you to step out of the vehicle. >> Is that a lawful order? >> Yes, it is. >> I mean, for what reason? >> I Because right now you you don't have a license. You were driving. You're refusing to >> I'm not driving. I'm not >> at this moment. >> That means that you're a commercial operator. >> We're not going to do this, sir. >> Can you step out of the vehicle? Cuz then you're going to you're going to escalate this to obstruction charge. So, right now, can you please stay out of here? >> On private property. No, you pulled in here. >> Due to the suspect's behavior, officers ordered him to step out of the vehicle to continue their investigation. He hesitated, tension rising with every passing second. The next move would reveal just how far he would resist. >> You told me to. >> Because you I was because we were blocking the driveway. >> I'm not going to be in the middle of the road. >> Sir, can you step out of the vehicle? >> What is your badge number? >> 2461. I already told you that. >> 2461. Officer Morales. >> Deputy Morales. >> Deputy Morales. Yes, >> I've cooperated with you. >> You have with the exception I cannot verify anything you told me. So if there's a way for me to verify everything, then at that point I could just give you a ticket and we be on your way. But you're not allowing me to work. >> You're telling me you have a license and it's not coming back. So I'm asking you, is the name you're giving me the right name or am I missing something or it's misspel your date of birth or something that is not matching. That's what I'm asking you. And you are not telling me anything. >> So we going from from having a conversation. You have to prove it to me. >> I don't have to prove anything. I already I don't have to prove anything >> because >> we could go to court. We You're going to have your day in court. You could prove it in court. >> I have to be committing a law >> to identify myself right now. You showing me that you don't have a driver >> committing a crime. >> You tell you refusing to identify yourself because the name you gave me doesn't come to any record. >> Morales. You have to show me reasonable articulable suspicion that I've committed a crime >> and you are committed right now for obstruction. I'm going to ask you step out of the vehicle, please. >> Huh? I mean I I don't have any identification for you. The identification that you want, I don't have it. >> Okay. And we'll figure it out. >> Step out of the vehicle, sir. >> I feel threatened and I feel coerced. >> No, sir. You Now they know that's happening. I ask you to come out. I ask you I'm asking you to identify yourself for the 20 times. I'm being very patience with you. >> When you say identify, like you want me to identify the >> Forget about the car right now. Right now it has to do about you having a driver's license and me knowing who I'm talking to. Okay. Right now you're not even allowing me to do that cuz you give me a you told me a name >> like on my driver's license. >> Do you have a middle initial and your name? >> I don't go by any middle initial. >> Sandra. That's negative. All right. Come step out of the car. >> Copy. >> Why? >> Step out of the car, sir. We're not going to play. This is over there. Okay. >> Are you arresting me? >> Yes. You're coming out. You're 30035. Copy. Why? >> Let's go out of the car. And before listen to me before I say this again, you about this you about this close >> to go to make this an obstruction charge as well. >> So come outside and show me that you cooperated. >> So come outside. >> You're going to kidnap me if I get out. >> Sir, come outside. We're not going to play this game. Come on. Come outside, Jason. >> Okay, one more. >> You're going to kidnap me if I get out. >> You can't do that. I could do that, sir. I don't know what you're going to do. I don't know if you're going to lock yourself in there. So, let's go. Come on. >> You can't do that, >> sir. Are we going to have to force you out of there? >> Cuz then you will get an obstructions charge for sure. >> The suspect was arrested after finally providing his identification, allowing officers to move forward with their work. He continued to act as if he had done nothing. During the search, officers discovered a woman hiding in his vehicle. >> Turn around. >> This is wrong. Turn around. >> This is wrong. Why are you doing this to me? Move this on. >> Why? Why are you doing this to me? >> You're under arrest. >> Why? >> For no driver's license, refusing to show any identification. Okay. This >> Why are you doing this? I have not refused. I've just asked for you to show me proof that I have committed a crime as to why you pulled me over. >> Why 10 central? I have one in custody. >> I have to be I have to have committed a crime. >> See who's in the car. >> Trunk open. >> No, you do not have the right to open. That's an illegal search and seizure. I don't give you the right to that. Um, she's going to >> Okay. You need to step out of the vehicle. >> Do you have a valid driver's license, ma'am? >> Do you have it? >> I just wanted to see if somebody was inside. >> Yeah. >> There's something in here. You want to see what it is? It has nothing to do with anything. I'm going to >> You just took my the title. You just took the bill itself. >> I heard a door. This is Just hold tight for us. All right, ma'am. >> Officers placed the suspect in the cruiser, explaining the situation as he struggled to understand. They attempted to search the vehicle, but the woman had locked it, obstructing their work. Once she handed over the keys, she was allowed to leave, and the suspect was taken to the station. >> What is the charge? >> What are you What are you charging me with? What is the charge? I already told you >> what's the charge. >> I do not know. I am not clear. >> Operating a vehicle with a driver's license. That's one. That vehicle is not registered. It's coming back. It I can't even >> I'm in the process. >> Okay. Well, that tag that tag >> I'm in the process. >> That tag comes back to a rental. It doesn't come back to that vehicle. >> Okay. >> I'm telling you, I just gave you the bill of sale and the title to prove to you and that tag doesn't come back. And now we going to verify what that tag is now that she's out of the car and uh and we can check the VIN. >> She just locked it. Obstruction. Outstanding. Here you go. >> You want to go to jail? >> Step forward. Make sure you bite you. >> You don't want to bite me. >> I don't want her to bite you. But if you step forward, >> give us the key. The car is going to get to give us the key and you still can walk free with your dog cuz it has nothing to do with you. >> Want to get arrested for >> you understand? >> But now you do. It's okay. All right. >> Give us the key so we can finish this investigation. Right now you obstructing. You could go to jail for that. >> Thank you. >> We going to tow it until you get find a way to get it hooked up. like try to charge me for like some like loitering or try to trespass me just like put put a little girl on the street. >> Hey, like I told him from the beginning, this is would have been done over if if and and he would have gotten >> So now y'all >> call the supervisor cuz I don't know what what um but I'm going to take him to the jail. Get out of here. All right. >> My goodness. >> Anything can happen to her. >> Complain. >> And all it would have done all all it would have been would have been a ticket for not having a seat belt. And >> buy me a ticket. >> Buy me a Officer Morales. He was charged with resisting arrest without violence, failing to register a motor vehicle, and attaching an unassigned license plate. The next suspect had a chance to avoid trouble, but her choices quickly led her straight to the police station. Every decision pushed her deeper into trouble. The consequences of her actions were about to unfold. In 2025, officers responded to a report of a woman stealing from a bartender. When they found her, she attempted to flee, but was quickly caught. She was arrested as officers prepared to take further action. Hey, I didn't do anything. >> Hey, how you doing? >> I didn't do anything. >> That's fine. That's fine. Stay right here. Stay right here. >> I didn't do anything. >> 711. I got her. Um by the back storage area right in the front of the parking lot. >> Wait. Let go of me. Let go me. >> No, I will not let go. >> Let go me. Let go me. Let go me. Nope. >> I didn't do anything. Let >> Okay. Let go of that. Let go of that or you're going on the floor. Let go of that or I'm dropping on the floor. >> I will. I will. I promise. >> Okay. Walk over that. >> I didn't I didn't do anything. >> Walk over the car. >> I didn't do anything. I didn't >> Just go to the car. >> I didn't do anything. >> What the Can you tell me what I did? >> Yeah, we're going to talk about it here in a minute. >> Walk to the car. >> I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. >> We're going to figure it out. >> I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. >> We're going to figure it out. Okay. >> Hey, what's up, man? How are you, guys? She stole this from the um >> Okay. >> So, what did she specifically stole? >> Yes. >> Where's the bag? Where did I like what did I do? Please. >> You want You want to cuff her? >> Yeah. Why not? >> Yeah. >> Good. >> I don't want to break these on real quick. Okay. Oh, watch out with your fingers. We do enough of these roll call trainings, bro. Wait till you see my body came. She would see me coming. Freaking sniped her ass, boy. >> Oh, man. >> And I don't know. She was She was calling for someone's help on the dock and I don't know if she passed anything off over there or what, but she was literally like yelling for someone's help. >> Yeah. >> Okay. We're trying to figure out. >> Officers spoke with the bartenders to hear their side of the story. They shared the full details of the incident and demanded that the woman be banned from the property. The situation grew more tense as the investigation continued. >> All right. And she went behind the bar. >> Yeah. >> Are you the >> So, you're a bartender? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> And she to my property on her push. >> Yeah. You're good. So, you have a medical marijuana card, I'm assuming? >> I do. Yes. >> Perfect. All right. And what are we looking for specifically? >> Just a little bait pen. little cartridge vape pen. Super simple. And I'm not even worried about the money factor. It's just the the fact that matter, you know. I just put that on the table and someone stole it from me. >> So do I. I asked her randomly. >> Do you want to press charges or you just want your stuff back? >> Oh yeah. No, I'll press charges because we asked her simply like if she wanted us to solve the problem, just give it back. And she ran out. >> She didn't even know how to get outside the bar. And I told her like, "Listen, you're you're looking I said, "Listen, you're looking at a miss." I I explained it to her. I said, "Listen, I'm allowed to have it. You're not allowed to have this. Like, you're not going to get away with this >> since she's been here. >> Well, yeah, since here on something else and she's literally ran. >> No. And I >> Right. And I think she's staying somewhere in the marina here because she was yelling for someone's help over there. I don't know if she passed the pen off to them or threw it in the water. I'm not even worried about the pen. It's just the fact of the matter. >> Yeah, I hear you. I hear you. >> You know, I don't I don't like people stealing anything from me as much as you like people stealing. >> Yeah, I hear you. Um, do you have access to the video cameras here or No, >> I do not myself. Yeah, because that so that's gonna be the issue is if if she doesn't have the property on her >> that's fine. No, but we could do everything. Whatever. >> We'll have to do it. We weren't. But >> because I can she's gonna do this time and time again. Like come on. >> She needs to she needs to learn eventually. I don't know who else she's done that to. So >> it's not it's not cool. >> Well, did you serve her a beer? Did she steal one from the bar or >> No, she Well, first of all, she has a tag that she hasn't paid. >> Yeah, cuz there there's a there's a can in her bag. I don't know if it's Coke. I don't know if it's Sprite beer. >> I was looking at it cuz I was like, "Who left this here?" I think it's uh >> But we have her phone. Like when she stole my pen, she left her phone on the table. So >> I have her phone. >> We got her phone at the bar. And I went to high school with him. So it's like we know each other. We're not going to each other. It's like >> I don't know. Like >> she's just >> Well, let's see. Let's see if she has it or if she's willing to let us search everything. Of >> course. Yeah. >> But trespass. >> All right. You want her trespass? All right. >> Yeah. I apologize. I never wanted you guys to waste your time on this. >> I never even called. >> It is what it is. We're going to get you on. We're going to have both you guys fill out a statement and we'll go from there. All right. >> So, just just You got your IDs on you by any chance or No, >> you uh Yeah, please. And if you can bring her property that's that's here so we can >> I think she's got everything with her. >> Okay. >> Just the phone. Her phone is there. David. >> Oh, that's right. Yeah. Officers approached the suspect again, but she refused to listen and denied the theft allegations. Concerned for her safety, police planned to take her to a hotel. Tension lingered as they prepared to move her. >> Take me back. >> I'm trying to have a conversation with But you're But you're acting >> I I actually >> Can we have Can we have a Can we have a conversation? >> You're not making me feel safe. >> Okay. Can we have a conversation? >> How am I going to get back? >> Okay. >> I'm tied up for no reason. >> You're handcuffed. You're Okay. So, can we have this conversation? All right. Ma'am, I'm Sergeant Brady of the sheriff's office. >> Let me go. >> Listen. >> 95 Sacramento, California. >> Sheriff Sergeant Sergeant Brady. >> Sergeant Brady literally is having me in my handcuffs. >> Can I explain things to you? >> Reason. >> There is a reason. Okay. >> Sacramento, California. I live in California. Let this this guy Sergeant Bra, >> are you staying with anyone at your hotel? >> What? >> Are you staying with anyone at your hotel? >> Why does that matter? >> It matters because I don't want to leave you by yourself alone. >> Actually, that has nothing to do with you. >> I mean, it doesn't, but it it has what to do with my decision what I'm going to make. >> I think that then you should tell me why you think that. >> Okay. So, listen. Here's the deal, okay? We were called here because a person wearing a green dress was accused of taking something off of the bar. Okay, >> that's >> I'm just telling you what was you. Okay, I get here. You're you're you're running around the outside. You're wearing a green dress, so you meet the description of someone who could have stolen something from here. Yes, >> I didn't steal anything. >> I'm not saying you did. I'm saying you meet the description, ma'am. Ma'am, I'm saying you meet the description of someone that did steal it. Okay, >> I didn't steal anything. >> Okay, that's your story. Look on my Look at my person. Look at my person. >> I looked in your purse. I don't have it. I didn't see anything. >> I don't have anything because I don't steal. Correct. >> That's my person. Look at my But that's why you're in handcuffs cuz we're doing an investigation. All right. So, listen. >> I'm not taking their word for it. Okay? So, right now, you're not going to jail for petty theft. Okay? You are intoxicated. All right? Which, you know, it is what it is. I'm trying to get you to a safe place, but I don't think I I don't want to leave you by yourself being this drunk. >> Okay. You >> can Can you then walk me up to my hotel, please? And my friend will like open the door and he will let me in. And that's like 100%. >> Okay. Where are you staying? >> In the Holiday Inn. >> Okay. Do you know what room number you're staying at? If you let me in the holiday in, >> I will call someone up. >> Okay. Now, just so you know, from this point forward, too, what's going to happen is is tomorrow, we're going to get video footage here. >> Okay? And if you did, in fact, take something from the bar. You may or may not have a warrant for your all the video. I promise you I didn't take anything. If you didn't take, I 100% promise you I didn't take anything because I don't steal. >> Okay? >> I'm I didn't steal anything. and you can >> police informed the victims that nothing was found and the suspect was not arrested. They took written statements to document the incident. The investigation remained tense as the situation unfolded. >> All right, so sit tight. You'll be back there in a minute. >> Yeah. Listen, so without without obviously finding the vape pin, I mean I I like I I take arresting someone and taking their civil rights away pretty serious. >> So not that I don't believe you guys, it's just I >> I mean if you were accused of something and I didn't and I I didn't have enough of what I thought would be proof. I know you guys have some witnesses. You guys >> So, so with that, I'm going to wait till the video. We'll do a warrant for her arrest, but uh you'll get a case number here in a minute. I'm going to have you fill out a statement form and then and then we'll call it. Did you guys saw her steal it? >> They weren't. They were playing pool. No, they literally >> literally she seen it and then my other friend was literally talking to her right next to me. >> I want to give it back. She put it down like if she didn't have it. She was >> all right. >> And she wrote out like she left her phone on the table and then >> you saw her take it and then put it down. >> No, she didn't put it down. She grabbed it from them and then she like put it like she put her cross her arms like this >> and she wouldn't. >> And then they were like, "Okay, uh, are you going to, you know, are you going to give it back?"
