No matter what he does, until I'm 6T under, it's not going to happen. This 42-year-old guy named Matthew W. Huddle was pulled over at a completely unexpected moment. The situation became too overwhelming for him and tragically it cost him his life. On January 26th, 20125, a Jasper County deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding. A known habitual traffic violator. The officer proceeded to conduct a further check on him. I'm pulling yours for 70 and a 55. Any reason for going that fast today, sir? I'll just keep the traffic. Okay. Okay, fair enough. You got your license and registration on you? Can I put it in park? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Where you coming from today? Uh church in my mom's cemetery. Okay. Okay. And I'm I uh I can't really afford to get in any trouble right now. Okay. I understand. Okay. Understand? I am driving without a license right now. Okay. So, why are you doing that then? Well, I have to I've been waiting for my uh hardship license. I just moved back from Idaho. Okay. And I had to move back here because um my my federal case. Okay. So, I'm just in the middle of everything right now. So, with your federal case, why would you have to move back to Indiana? Well, I had pending traffic violations and I had to live in Indiana in order to qualify for the hardship license, but they didn't tell me that until I got my thorough case. So, I moved back to get my license. Okay. All right. Well, let me see your license here. How many times have you been caught driving without a license? Um, in my life? No, just recently. Like, how many have you been caught with the suspended driver's license before? Yeah, but it hasn't been for years. Long time. Okay. All right, Matt, hang tight for me, okay? And I'll get back with you. All right. Actually, you know what? Do you have the registration for your vehicle? I just bought this. I think it's a is a title here. Okay. Okay. Is that a corgi back there? Uh, this was the Sanji. Okay. Rescue dog. Okay. All right. All right, Matt, hang hang tight for me. Okay, buddy. All right. Hey, Matt. Do you want to go ahead and shut your vehicle off and step back here with me real quick? Yeah. Go ahead and shut it off for me, please. Am I under arrest or anything? We'll come back here. I'll explain everything to you. Okay. Matthew's situation wasn't looking good as the issue escalated into a felony offense and the officer couldn't ignore it. You are at a felony status for driving while suspended. Uhhuh. So today you are going to come with me. I can't I can't You're going to have to. Okay. You're going to come with me today. All right. No, I can't go to jail for this, sir. You're going to have to come. Can I get a ride? No. Are you sure? I'll violate my Just listen to me. Okay. Number one, it's a felony offense. There's no there's no leeway with felonies in the state of Indiana. Now, maybe if it was a misdemeanor offense, I could work something out with you, but it's not a misdemeanor. It's a felony offense. Okay. Mhm. So, that's how I that's why I can't work with you today with it. Okay. I understand your circumstances, but you understand that you can't drive. Okay. So, your driving has resulted into this situation. Okay. Okay. Matthew seemed nervous from the start and the officer calmly handled the situation. However, Matthew made a bold move that only turned the situation into a complete disaster. Should turn around. Put your hands on. Don't you do it, buddy. No. No. No. No. No. I'm shooting myself. No. No. No. No. No. Okay. All right. So, I'm going to hold on to this real quick while I explain it to you. Okay. So, today you're getting off of the verbal warning for the speed. However, you're habitual traffic violator. I know. Which means that you are at a felony status for driving while suspended. Uhhuh. So, today you are going to come with me. Well, I can't I can't You're going to have to Okay. Okay. Now, what I'm going to do, all right, is I'm going to put your information right here for a sec. I want you to turn around. Put your hands on. Don't you do it, buddy. No. No. No. No. No. I'm shooting myself. No. No. No. No. No. Unfortunately, Matthew was pronounced deceased on the scene. This story took a dramatic turn when a woman managed to deceive three banks in one day before her scheme finally unraveled. On May 31st, 2024, officers were called to a local bank in Washington after a woman was caught trying to pull off a bold fraud. The police arrived and the manager explained the situation, but the woman refused to provide her identification. Clearly, she had something to hide. Yeah. So, she's been going to she went to our Seattle branch, opened an account with a different ID. you into a Burian branch with a different ID. This is a third ID with a different name here at this branch. I'm Officer Clark with the Kent Police Department. I have my body camera going. Okay. Do you know why we're here? Here's the fake utility bill that she keeps circulating with different things on it. Have you guys actually like with a true name? We don't. No. So, she This is the third ID with different name. We can give you what the other IDs are, pictures if you give any mine. What's your name then? Okay. So, at this point, you are detained and you're not free to leave. Do you understand that? Okay, man. You have identification, so we we can identify you. I'm just kind of trying to gauge your compliance with me. Okay. I'm trying to not be super evasive on it. If you have identification, I'd love to see it. I don't. Okay. Are you going to give me your name? So, we're trying to make this as easy as possible by just asking for your name. Okay. Rather than having to bring someone here to take your fingerprint or potentially even book you in jail just to get your name. So, if you if you give us your name, there could very well be a possibility that I send these up to review and they contact you at a later time. And if you don't, then we have to go take you to jail to make sure we have you identified. I just don't want you to catch any like extra charges of like basically delaying the process of an investigation by just not being cooperative, okay? Cuz we we do have to know who you are. It's like I said, so we we are conducting an investigation this time, okay? So, can I just get your name? Yeah, I mean I get it, right? You're kind of in a situation right now, okay? So, not a big deal, but I need to know who I'm talking to, okay? So, if you need to take a breath, take a breath, but you just need to talk with me, okay? Or at least just tell me who you are. If not, we'll find it out. Ashley, where you staying at right now, Ashley? Homeless. You got a car outside or something? Is that what you're living in? No, I take I take the bus around. Took the bus. Okay. No, don't worry. Ashley, do you have an ID on you? It was stolen. Stolen. Be somebody else. I didn't want to be me anymore. Ashley, do you have any kind of warrants or anything like that about to hear or something or what? Is that why you just not want to give me your name? There's a possibility of one. Possibility. What? New Mexico. New Mexico. Then came the twist no one expected. Her entire plan was built on instructions from someone over the phone. Here is what she told the cops. So So what what what is your intentions for today? Do you want to So what is what's your name? Ashley. Ashley. Okay. So exactly who's going to ask? What are you intending to do here today? Okay. with with this idea. Is there a reason why you're using that idea? You're I don't want to be me anymore. I'm tired of being who I am. I I just want a new life. Okay. And you thought New York ID would help you do that. probably not making anymore. So, with this idea, you were planning to open an account or do what? Yeah, I was going to open an account and I was going to start um I was going to start getting off and get a job and be this person. Okay. Have you ever lived in uh New York? So, where did the idea of New York come from? Like, you just like New York? I've always wanted to go there. Gotcha. Where did you get the social security card? Friend to me. Friend. Where does his friend frequent live or what's his name? He's just a voice over phone. Okay. I don't know about this ID. That's the same person. Okay. You call number you get uh did that same person give you this ID? I got it in my ear. Okay. But the same You got it the same way. Have you had a social security card for these other IDs? You did? Okay. Where are those IDs and social security cards at? I don't know. Do you see anything necessarily wrong with what you're doing? Well, these people, they're that I'm told that they're they're not able to be them anymore. Like, they're not even real anymore. Like, they're like in the hospital and they can't be them. So, how am I hurting anybody? Okay. Did you were you successful in opening account those other locations? No, the other one did you open it? Um, she said she called me that later. Okay. So, were you intending to get a job with the other names as well or I was going to see if which one would pass because you never know what comes up when they actually do a background check. Okay. So, okay. Where do you currently live right now? My home. Your home. Where do you frequent? It was the Aurora area, but I I didn't want to look up anyone that's too far away. So the seac area. Do you have the phone number that you called to get these IDs? It changes. Okay. Is it like a website or just a person that you call or email or what? You call the number and you get another number to call cuz that number always changes. It's it's like pings and stuff. It's which weird. When was the last time you lived in New Mexico? So, your ID should still potentially be valid. Eventually, the woman's story began to unravel, revealing the truth. The officer also discovered the reason why she had been hiding her identity. Where is this um city of Seattle light bill from? Where'd you get this? I found it and one of the hotel rooms that I was I was at and you can change the information on it. So, was it one of the hotels? One that you can like you scan it into the computer and you just change the the information on it. What information did you change? Um the address. This address? Okay. What else did you change? No. You change the address there too or you change the name or both? Well, they all tell the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. So, so you change the addresses for all of them? Yeah. They had to match. Okay. I'm just checking. Did you change anything else on there? I don't think so. Okay. So, you didn't change the account number, the name, the amount, the dates? Oh, that's the same. But um yeah, I I changed the the account number to put like random numbers in there. Okay. So, did you get the ID to match the name or did you change the name here to match the ID? I I got made this match the ID. Gotcha. Or how'd you come up with that name? That's just the name that was I was given by who? The person on the phone. Okay. I will be right back and go see what the end. So, I got them trying to pull some kind of a do out of New Mexico. So, it's a unfortunately they have her listed like for a felony. It was a warrant out of New Mexico. It was like conspiracy to commit shop. So, it wasn't wasn't felony. It was like something done. But they have her have her listed in there. We don't have anything on our end. Um, the only thing I didn't run was uh like county booking to see if she had been booked there, but we got nothing on her on on our end. I mean, I would probably ask her like why she's giving like an aka like what is her actual freaking name and like I mean, but then but then again, people who like commit frauds like this, like I don't even know if they know who they are anymore at this point, you know? But like um I would say we probably take her down and get her like booker and fingerprint her and do all the stuff and get photographs. Uh so and then do the final do5. She's felony level on that one. Yeah. Yeah. I would I would I would I would transport her down, get her get her uh fully identified and stuff like that. And then I mean, she's homeless, so who knows where she's going to go, but try to get a good address. I'll see if I can dig into it a little bit if she can give me some more about the name and stuff. Hey, Ashley. So, it's me, Officer Clark, again. So, um, so we're having issues with your name. So, we've got you in the system for like multiple names. Is there a reason for that? Do you go by other names? My married name. What's your married name? But I don't go by it anymore. Okay. Well, whether you go by it anymore or legally go by it are a couple different things. Okay. So, um the last name that you had identification, what name would it be? And where would that have been out of? Okay. Can I can you look up please? Yeah. Yeah. Is it? And who set that? Records. Excellent. Um Okay. So, yeah, you do have a warrant out of New Mexico. Okay. Um it's not something we're going to take you on, right? So, we're city of Kent at this time, so we're going to go with what my officer over here has for you. Okay. The officer explained that what she did was wrong and could have ended badly. But understanding her situation, he showed leniency and offered help. Know it is a crime to actually be in possession of another person's ID. Correct. You know that, right? But I didn't think it was an actual like like an actual person because like how could you get an actual person's like real information like right come again? How could you get the real person's I thought it was like it's fake, right? It's not a driver's license. Yeah, it's it has my picture on it. But I have a driver's license in my pocket right now and it's mine, right? So, it's me with my information, but it's got my picture on it with I I wasn't sure if the information was actually right. So, the chances of you looking like someone else in in a one-dimensional photograph, the chances of that are fairly high, right? I you know, have you ever heard of the word doppelganger where you have someone who kind of looks like you, right? Yeah. Okay. So, there's a chance that you look like someone that does not give you the right to take that person's identification. Clearly, it's not you. It does not have your name on it. and then come into a a financial institution and try to open up bank accounts and take out loans and do all the things, right? That's called fraud. Okay, that is fraudulent 100% hands down because you are not that person and you are telling them that you are that person when you're not. That's against the law. Okay. And you know that. I know you know that. We're not going to take her to jail today cuz she's having some medical issues and we also identified her. But there's we will be investigated um for a felony level identity theft. Okay. Yeah. For transmiss and all that too though because like she's been going from branch to branch and I'm not really sure if she smoked in her bathroom did so. Okay. Do you want me to trespass her for a year or for life? For life. Okay. Do you have any other branches in the Kent? No. Okay. So, I can only trespass her for the branch and Kent. I can't trespass her for sure. Can you check her bathroom? I I was trying to use the restroom and I ran over there to use the the guest bathroom, but I felt like ever since I walked in and my nose was like in between. I didn't smell anything in the bathroom. She may or may not have on that card next to the stars. Those can those places can help you kind of start over. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. Give them a call. Reach out to them. These guys actually care in this state. Yeah, we try. Obviously, stop trying to do what you're doing now, okay? Get your warrant taken care of. But reach out to them. They can help. The woman was charged with three counts of identity theft. Next up, 18-year-old Ryan Aeron Stanley along with his friend Joseph Martin Hernandez went to a gas station with some questionable intentions. But you wouldn't believe how chaotic the scene became in a split second. On February 6th, 2025, police were called to a gas station in Champagne County regarding a report of an armed robbery. The situation was already tense as the driver showed no compliance with the officers since he was armed. The officer took necessary precautions, but things escalated rapidly. See your hands. Lay down on the ground. On the ground now. Stay right there. Stay on the ground. Keep your hands where they're at. Come secure this guy. Hey, get this guy right here. Hands up. See your hands. Right there with him. Yeah. Okay. Cuff him. Cuff him. Shots fired. You see anything? Is he moving at all? His eyes are open. Using caution and strategy, officers tried to persuade him to surrender peacefully, reminding him he still had a chance to cooperate. Hands up. Hands up. We're going to get you help. You got to get your hands up. Yeah. Get out of the car and we'll get you help. We can't do that until you get out. We see that you don't have your gun anymore. Yo, we need to see you out. It's not worth dying. Roll yourself out. We can help you. Okay. Come on. We want to help you. We want to help you. that [ __ ] Blow yourself out. That's all you can do right now. Then roll out. We'll help you. This is not the way to go. This is not the way to go. Throw yourself out on the ground. We'll help you. Do it now. Do it now. This is it. You got to do this now. Only one choice. With a few injuries, but not serious, Ryan had no choice but to comply with the officer and put an end to the chaotic situation. Let's go. We need to see your hands. You need to get your hands up. It's on the ground. It's on the ground. Yes, it's on the ground. Yes. I see. Do not move. Do not move. I see his right hand. What? I can't see his right hand, but he goes to the ground. Do not move. Do not move or you will get shot. You will get shot. Don't move. Is he bleeding? Kick it. Kick it out. [Applause] My arm. All right. Send medical. Where's he bleeding from? Yeah. [Applause] Oh my god. Oh my god. There's a bullet right there. Fell out of his shirt. I stopped the bullet. You need gloves? Yeah. Let me go get Let me go get my uh shot at. I can't tell. I don't I mean a bullet bullet anywhere. There's a little bit back here. They were staging. Everybody inside. Please not. Okay, I'm trying. Ryan was charged with battery. Next, Bruce Reginald Foster, a ruthless shooter, caused panic at a private business. Gunfire erupted, leaving several victims with gunshot wounds and everyone at the scene shaken and terrified. It all began on February 4th, 2025 when dispatch received multiple emergency calls reporting an active shootout in Columbus, Ohio with several injuries already confirmed. Officers were quickly dispatched to the scene to take control of the situation. Show me your hands. Show me your hands. Show me your hands. Show me your hands. Put your hands in the car right now. Hey, we have workers on scene saying two male black one's wearing a black sweatshirt. He has a book. The officers found multiple victims, some with serious injuries. While some officers provided aid, others worked to gather as much information as possible about the suspect. Got one in the neck. You want to just check his neck? Medics needed him in. Anywhere else was he shot? The arm and the neck. Sir, do you have a tourniquet for his arm? I do not have an arm. Okay. Is anybody else hurt or shot? Anybody else? No. Okay. I say supervisor just like this. This guy I saw blackmail uh a hoodie and a bag so far. I'm working through it. But a picture. Okay. I'm going to ask her a few questions here. Can you please explain to her to answer the questions uh in shorter sentences so I so you can translate and I can write it down? So let's start from the beginning. What did you see initially uh when the shooter walked into your workplace? First you walked into the main entrance and then uh without coming to the uh like the and then he moved into the main uh to the office of LA 17. He started walking there. So you saw him walk in the main entrance. Did you know he was drunk then or uh was it later? So I was trying to collect items or I was just carrying this trail and that person passed by me and I was able to smell a very strong alcoholic uh smell and that person just pointed towards me and he Okay. You smelled alcohol on him and he pointed towards you. Is that correct? uh not the alcohol but he was he smelled okay so he pointed towards you then what after that uh I looked at my supervisor my supervisor was faced um toward me was facing towards me and through the mirror I told my supervisor that this is or not any help okay what's next I was calling the parc when um I heard uh and everyone just started to run away and told me that that person killed a person and he's shooting inside. So I just after understanding what the suspect was wearing and getting a general description, the officers began searching the area to locate the suspect. The suspect had already fled the scene, but later US Marshalss arrested Bruce at a nearby apartment complex close to where the shootout occurred. No. Where's that? right here where this orange pilings are. Go right around the corner to your right. There's a big cement smoking area behind the gate. Right there behind the gate. Yeah. No. Bruce was charged with five counts of assault with a deadly weapon along with several other felony charges. It was a calm, ordinary day at a local mall until chaos broke out due to the erratic actions of a duo. On August 24th, 2024, a shoplifting attempt spiraled out of control when security stepped in, leading to a physical altercation. Officers were swiftly dispatched to take control of the unfolding situation. The suspects were acting aggressively and couldn't control their tempers. Forcing officers to step in. Detaining them wasn't easy as they resisted and escalated. Stop. We're going to talk about it. I need to grab me. About to grab me. We're going to talk about it. Nobody did. Calling you police. But after what they did, do you think they would cooperate? You can sit down. the camera. Nobody did. That's what we're here to get to the bottom of. But you have to give us a chance to do so. We can't just take your word for it. I don't know you and I can't take their word for it either. I have to see I have to hear them out, hear you out. I have to uh take your handcuffs off. I have to remove this and then I'm going to put you back in handcuffs. Okay. Why you taking my bag? Because the officer Oliver needs it. For what? That is what crime inside the backpack. On August 9th, 2024, officers from Madison County were dispatched to an address in search of a fugitive woman with an active warrant for her arrest. And luckily, the officer met her upon arrival. All right, put your hands back. Put your hand back. Yes. No. Maybe. Yeah. Okay. You're under arrest for what? Pro violation. Where you running from? Oh, I wasn't running. Watch your head. Okay. I won't hit you. The officers had been there the day before and had already told the people to call the police if Nicole returned. Since they didn't make that call, things changed for them, too. She wasn't down here. Who you yelling at? just stole my shoes. So, I set him down. It's not my fault. That she was at the building. Oh, she us. I don't know where Nicole is. Come on out. Was she here yesterday? Come on now. Don't go inside the house. Can I put my dogs inside? Can I put my dogs inside? We can put them inside. Don't go back in the house. Open the door and let him in, but don't go in the house. I know, but she will not open the door. Open the door and let her in. Just don't go back inside. I have been very cooperative. This is not When's the last time you seen Nicole? I seen Nicole yesterday and I told her to contact y'all. You remember the conversation that we had with you and your mother saying if you see her get in touch with Exactly. to tell her to get in touch with y'all. No, ma'am. To call us and let us know where she's at because she has outstanding. We understand. And I I gave her that card y'all gave me and everything. And I told y'all I didn't have a phone. I have not had a phone in six months and or a ride or a phone. I don't even like Yes, I do. You stay here with your mom. Yes, you have access to a cell phone or a phone. But we told her to contact y'all out. We wanted you to contact. It will call out. Person with a warrant never calls us. They won't because they know we're going to lock them up. No, ma'am. Well, we did tell you that. But we told y'all Monday, Tuesday, that if Nicole shows back up over here, call us cuz she has warrants and we need to talk to her if she shows up. Tell her to call y'all or if you know where she's at to call us. Y'all said to tell her to call y'all, get in touch with y'all. Y'all said y'all weren't even worried about that right now. If you saw her, why didn't you call us about her? Why didn't you call us? I thought y'all need to be. I told her what y'all told me to tell her. So, you didn't understand what we told you? Obviously, is that your defense? Obviously. Do you know what happens when you don't do what we tell you to do? Obviously. I mean, do you know what the consequence is when we tell you to do it? We give you the choice to do something you choose not to do. First, this is crazy. You remember that question I asked you when we had that interview? If you would contact him in my yard at all. Well, she wasn't here. She was. She was right there. I got her right there. She was up. Jesse, she wasn't there. Uh yeah, we told him, "Watch out your dog." Um and I asked Mr. Buddy, I said, "Hey, when's the last time Nicole's been here?" And he said, "Oh, she was here last night." I said, "Where at?" And he said, "I don't know." She was sitting on that couch charging her cell phone up. Well, that surprises me cuz I said, "That's awesome." I said, "Where's Pasha's shoes at?" He said, "Right there." And that's where them two bags were found up on your table right in front of your shoes. And they're in plain sight. So, I went ahead and grabbed that. Well, this and then uh I said, "Who sits here?" And he said, "All Pastor sits on that couch all the time." Yeah, I do. I do. Then he pointed at the same couch that Nicole was sitting on plugging her phone. She ain't sitting on my couch. I haven't seen her. I told you. Okay. I seen her and I told her what y'all told me to tell her and I didn't call. She ain't allowed to at my house. Buddy's got dementia. Trying to get loud again. Well, I'm I'm I'm very upset because of people insinuating and stuff that I'm trying to tell the truth and be honest with y'all and cooperative and y'all keep hitting water in my mouth. You're a beautiful kitty. Come here. Bless. Unbelievable. We'll walk up that trail right there. F. Thanks a lot, Nicole. Thanks a lot. Y'all got her. Don't y'all got her this time? Y'all going to keep her a while this time? Yeah. I mean, we'll keep her till parole releases again. room. Y'all want me to take them to the jail or something? And then they're getting if you'll hand me that. Since there was an illegal substance involved, the officer conducted a proper search of both women before placing them in the cruiser. Got anything on post? No. Okay. What's this? I don't know. There's a ring in here. I don't want to drop it out. All right, we're going to hang on to this now. Okay, hit one more time. Yeah, we'll hit one more. Try again. Thank you. Thank you. You stepping on this side. Okay. Huh? Yeah. I don't know why they left. I'm get some air roll for y'all. Okay. Thank you. Yes, ma'am. The police went back to the house to grab Nicole's phone only to uncover more issues. Trouble just wasn't letting up. And I said, "Who sits here?" You said right there. Didn't she say she didn't have a purse? Is that her purse? There's two cousins that had cigarettes in it. cigarettes in it. Oh, they did clean it up just a little bit. They did. Well, she said her phone was in the purse, right? Well, she said it. Well, there's a bag right here. That was here the other day. Watch yourself, needles. I'd almost bet that's hers. Is there any identification? Well, I tell you what, I just told him she had a file up like be with. So, whatever's in that bag you found, probably I guarantee it. More needles. She's on partisan parole. She said she was in this thing right here. I know she probably got a fourth. Mhm. That hers don't know a bunch of drug for you crackers. Oh yeah, this thing's full of nails. I've not seen a red checkered wallet yet. Sky, this is hers. See the blue sky magnet box. Thanks Josh. Mhm. Voila. That's sweet. Yeah. Okay. Are you you recording, right? Yes, sir. Okay. She told us blue phone sky. Blue phone sky. I guess that's her pink wallet right there. Yeah, but she said it was checkered. I don't know what she said. Okay, Josh, we're going to have to run back to the office. Okay. Nicole was charged with possession of an illegal substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation violation. This entitled woman thought she could cry her way out of a tough situation, but she was an adult, not a child anymore. Her attempt to manipulate quickly turned into her worst nightmare. On October 22nd, 2024, officers received a call about an active shoplifting incident involving a woman at Target. The woman had already been detained by security at the loss prevention office, but the officer first spoke with the store employee to gather information. Basically just went around the store like selecting a whole bunch of apparel, putting a whole bunch of apparel back on shelves. Um, and then she started concealing it in bags that she had selected and then uh she put the bags on the bottom of her cart. I think one was in her car basket and then she walked through the check lane, took out like six clothing items, paid for about $50 worth of stuff and then tried to exting the rest. And you guys watch it on camera the whole time or in person? I watched in person. He watched on camera. Okay. And so that's not including the $50 she paid for? Yes. That is including or not including? It is not included. Okay. And where are the items she paid for? Still with her? Yeah, they are in the office. Okay. should give you guys IDs and whatnot. Not yet. All right. Called you guys as soon as that's fine. She's back here. Yes, sir. What's up? Hello. Why are you arrested? I don't know. I just got I got a lot of stuff to figure out. Okay. So, obviously I'm here, right? And so, um I'm trying to figure all this out with them. They've they're still in the process of doing what they have to do between video and calculating all this stuff and whatnot. So, with me being here and you being back here, you're not free to leave. So, in order for me to talk to you openly about what's going on, I have to read you a Miranda warning. Okay? Do you understand that? Yes. Well, no. You're just not free to leave. You're detained. Okay? So, because you're detained, you're not free to leave. I have to read this to you so you so you and I can uh openly discuss everything. Okay. And with these rights in mind, do you wish to talk with me? So, why am I here? What do you mean by stupid? I I cry. I literally stole stuff. I steal stuff and I wasn't thinking. And why are you stealing stuff? I have no idea. I really know how much song. I have no idea. It was stupid. I just didn't My head's been everywhere and I didn't think I had checked for 30. I have no There's no reason why I should be. I know that I messed up. And these are just what all did you steal? It's over there. I'm just saying what was it like? Stupid clothes. You're just selecting random items. Smart. Wasn't smart. So, you paid for these items here? Yes, I did. How did you How did you get here? I drove. You drove? Okay. So, you drove here and you're from Pal Bay? I'm I'm not from Pal. I meant like you live in Pal. And what made you come to go see a friend in school? She actually was dealing with an abusive boyfriend. Oh, sorry. So, were these items for you or for Yeah, they were for me. I wasn't thinking. I literally wasn't. As the officer continued speaking with the suspect, he tried to understand the reasoning behind her actions before taking any procedures. You came here today to visit a friend. You came to the city of Tyson and you went and saw your friend and decided to come to Target. Yes. And when you came to Target, did you come here with the intentions of stealing? No, I didn't actually. cuz I literally paid for stuff. Okay. I paid for $55 for the stuff I bought two pairs of So you paid for the $55 worth of stuff, but we're talking what did I say? 12 the total is $1,223.64. So you decided not to pay for over $1,200 worth of stuff, but you knew I mean, let me ask you this. Do you have the money to pay for that currently? There's a there's a check. Do you have the money currently to pay for $1,200 in No. So, what changed your mind when you were walking through the store that you thought it'd be a good idea to try to take these items? I have no idea. I have no idea. There's no excuse for it. Okay. And I know that. So, you just walking through the store, you selected a few items. You're like, I'm going to pay for those and the rest of them. Literally was talking to the girl with the checkout fingering. There's no there's no excuse for it. really not. I feel so So you did try to hide the items and conceal and pay for just the $55 worth of stuff. Yeah, basically. I think Yeah, I guess. So you knew you were only going to pay for a few items while you tried to scoot out with the rest of it hidden in your cart. Put it in a very deep way. But I mean, there's no excuse for what I did. I know that. There's no excuse. And This is life lesson. I know that. I really do know that. I'm sorry. I feel I do feel horrible about it. I'm sitting here. This is a scumbag thing to do. Better than this. Have you ever been arrested before? Sir. Never been in trouble anywhere before. How long was you moving in the state of Florida? I mean, I'm sorry in Bavar County. About a year ago, my grandmother passed away in February and then my mom's boyfriend got cancer and my grandfather has dementia. It's been a really It's been a nightmare. All right. Well, um, so when it boils down to it, the state of Florida and the Tisville Police Department don't take retail theft very lightly. Okay, you committed felony retail theft because at the threshold of $750, that is a felony amount. Since the woman was cooperative, the officer showed leniency as long as she behaved. However, they discovered something about her license. Put your palms together out like this. I'm begging you. There's nothing that's going to change that you committed a felony retail. call my fiancé. We'll we'll work on that here in a little bit. Sorry, you couldn't. I think my fiance It's It's already past that. It's already exceeded that. Regardless of whether you had the money to pay for it or not, you should have done that before you went to walk out of the doors. These guys, this is this is their job. Okay? So, this is what they get paid to do. Walmart has the same people at every location. Okay? This is their job. I'm begging you. You attempted to walk out of the store with over $1,200 of merchandise that you were not going to pay for. You paid for $50 of it. So, yeah, you get to keep that. I'm sorry, sir. Please. I'm begging. I'm I'm honestly I'm begging you for the bottom of everything. Begging me is not going to work. I told you here at the city high school, we don't take retail theft lightly. Okay? These guys tolerate more theft than actually Walmart does. Walmart calls us for as simple as $20 or whatever of theft, and they want to press charges. This is the first time I've actually taken a retail theft from Target in the four years I've been here. Other people have taken them. The first time I've been really sorry. So, what's going to happen is you're going to end up going to jail. Okay. You're going to be placed onto a you're going to have a bond of 2,2500 give or take whatever the bond is going to be on the felony retail theft. Okay? You understand that? Okay. I'm begging you really. Do me a favor. Stop. Understand something. I'm actually different cop than most people. Most people would not let you make a phone call. I'm going to give you a second to make a phone call to your fiance to explain to him that you are going to go to jail today, that there's nothing he can do for you at this current time other than prepare to get a bondsman to bond you out of jail. Okay? Do you understand that? Okay. And you need a photo of her. Yeah. Whenever you're ready, he needs to take a photo of you. Okay. I don't want to tears. I'm sorry, guys. for the skin over my lip. I'm so sorry. I've seen people bounce back from a lot worse. Trust me. Smile. Oh, I'm I'm sorry. And I need to do the car. It's part it's going to be part of that this phone call she's about to make to the fiance to say, "Hey, I'm going to jail and I'm going to come I need you to come get the car or whatever the case may be cuz Sorry. I'm so sorry. The only reason I say so is Target doesn't want I know. And and again, that's on you guys at the end of the day. If you guys end up want to tow it, that's a private property tow for you guys. There's nothing that we'll do um because it's private property. But this is where we I give the opportunity for somebody to come get the vehicle before you guys tow it. You actually shouldn't be driving on your license anyways cuz it's suspended. Is it really? Yeah. It's been suspended since go ahead and make a quick phone call to your f your fiance. The cops then took pictures of the stolen goods and gathered statements from the staff who witnessed everything. Like I said, this is first time I've come here to take a retail theft. And it's really weird. They don't really smoke you guys. I used to work for Walmart. Yeah. So, how'd you get this call? Just because of how much it was? Figured. I mean, threshold 750. So dog leash like if this was like sometimes I have sympathy when it comes to here I've got the top bottom of that if sometimes it's just like things that are necessary like I need I need food I need my kids need whatever like that's different in my eyes. Okay, that should have been everything you got here. Bingo. Okay, that's good for me. Thank you. And then I'll have we'll get you to sign that top BTO. Um I just need your ID and then we're good to go. All right. Um so just briefly, I've got her side of the story. What got you into seeing her? What intrigued you into watching her as she was like nine of us? Um there's just a large number of apparel selections in her cart already and she would put back selections and then select without looking at prices. Okay. And then you would you observe as she was um observed her put back merchandise and take other merchandise and sell merchandise and bags and those are the three bags that were out there. She was just filling them full. Yes. And then uh she went through one of the check lanes and um those items that are in the bug currently. She also uh the headphones package and took the headphones out. Those were the red ones that we saw. Okay. And you followed on foot? Yes. And you were watching here? Yes. And you kept eyes on her the whole time with the cameras and what? Okay. All right. And you raise your hand the other right. There you go. You find the statement about the whole truth about the truth. What we got? As the officer concluded everything peacefully, he gave the woman a final search and took her to the station. What is it? Just like am I getting locked in for real? This is just a seat belt for your safety. Okay. Thank you. All right. Do you have any Okay. So then I also give this discretion. All right. So upon entering the Boulevard County Jail complex, okay, it's a no contraer ban. Do you have anything on you that's illegal? Narcotics, drugs, or anything up top? Anything that's inside? anywhere that it should not be? No. No, sir. Okay. I asked that now because if we get there and they find it, it's an additional charge, which is the $5,000 increase. I don't have any. Okay. So, your money in the This ain't a debit card, but it's Oh, my the Okay, so this will go into your purse. Okay. I will lock it. Where's your car at? My car is right over in the corner. It's a red Lexus. I think it's right down. Is it down this? It might be down this aisle. Actually, the next aisle. Okay. Right in the front. It's a red Lexus. Yes. Okay. two door. All right. And so your purse and all that will go into your car. You want to leave your keys here at Target so your fiance can come pick it up your car. Yes, sir. Yes. Okay. All right. I'm going to shut the door. Yep. Hello. Hey, Brandon. It's Officer Mick. Hey. Hey. We just got to the jail. It's going to be $2,500 bond. Okay. Okay. So, what do I Sorry. That That'll be like 300 to the bond. Uh yeah, 250 something like that. Okay. All right. All right. Um, can you tell remind her to call me like once she gets your phone in there? Yep. We'll get the phone number and and she can call you when she gets in. It's 81 what? 8161. All right. I need to turn my location off so I'm turning my phone off. All right. All right. All right. All right. Thank you, sir. I love you, babe. Text my mom and sorry I'm not feeling well, babe. Please and thank you. I will. I will. I love you. Love you. Bye. The woman was charged with retail theft. On June 25th, 2024, police located a woman who had multiple warrants for breaking and entering into private property. Upon contacting the woman, the officer proceeded with detaining her. Put your hands behind your back. Huh? Put your hands back. What? Put your hands back. What? Put your hands back. For what? Jody, put your hands money back. What? For what? Just don't make scene, please. For what though? You got a warrant. No, you have a warrant. Dude, are you serious? Yes, I am.
