stumbled upon a hay stack on October 26 2022 Patrol officers noticed a van with a missing front plate and initiated a traffic stop right as the officer confronted the driver of the vehicle suspicions a man making bomb threats downtown at a library alongside the man was reported to have committed multiple other offenses officer cuppy arrived at the scene and confronted the suspect and quickly took action to deescalate the situation there's notes on here says he's inside the Library that's just what he said he keeps calling and threatening us and he's planting bombs in the police station the last time he called said he's inside the Library if we want to find him okay I'll check inside the Library are you with this guy he no weap at the time well supposedly he has a big rock in his hand it was the police he was talking with a while yeah and so there must be a recording there and then as he was going down the stairs he was just calling us and really rude names and saying inappropriate things to us about sexual connotations okay yeah CL and I'm guessing those things Disturbed you yes they did okay very I was not going to interfere about as he's going downstairs I just said please stop and then we actually did have a couple guys offer to start to go and I'm like it's okay we've called the security okay did he threaten you at all he did just that bomb threat and not not physical there was there was I think there was one physical threat um I'm trying to remember cuz it was like the bomb threat was the one that I was like sure and then I think right after that he's like I'm going to hurt you okay didn't say exactly how but just said he would hurt you yeah that he was going to hurt me yeah I'm sorry or he he said I think it was a little more General like I'm going to hurt somebody if you keep if someone starts talking to me or something like that kind how it was so it was a little more General he was looking right at me right after you okay it felt like it was at you directed towards you yes yes so I think in my head I was like me sure and what's your first name anything else that would be of relevance or damage any property up here or anything like that he didn't damage anything he did say to both of us that he's like I bet I could pay okay and you witnessed all this as well okay and what's your first name my and did you have something as well yeah I was looking at the help Des downstairs okay um so I saw him come in and I over heard a lot of you know what was said already but as he was leaving he also said that he was going to go to the library okay calmed down the officers completed the final steps to ensure the suspect faced the full extent of the law I can switch out cuff is that those your cuffs yeah yeah I can switch those out now so about
