He took my children's mother. I don't care if you capture him. I don't care if you kill him. Find him. You don't do that to somebody you love. Think about the absolute nightmare and hell that he made the last few months of her life. No matter how hard someone tries, you can't outrun a crime. On duty, an officer met a man who claimed he needed help checking on his wife, but behind that innocent face, a chilling plan was hiding. A Broomfield man guilty of murdering and stalking his wife, hitting her in the head several times before stabbing her in the heart. >> Guilty of count number two, stalking, extreme emotional distress. We the jury find the defendant guilty of murder in the first degree. These cases show just how shocking people's actions can be and how police uncover the truth. [Music] Starting with this chilling case of a well-loved family where no one suspected that a close partner could commit such a heinous act. This is the case of Daniel Krug, and on December 14th, 2023, police were called to the home for a welfare check after Daniel reported that his wife, Crystal Krug, had not responded to his text messages. Hello. Oh, so I was just on their neighbor and they called and they're like, "Can you go see if she'll answer the door?" Oh, yeah, he sent us as well, so Okay, I'm like, I live next door. Just next door? Okay. All right, well, you got this. All righty, man, appreciate it. After repeatedly knocking and trying to look through the windows, the officer still received no response. As time passed, unease began to grow, and when he checked the garage door, he noticed something. [Music] 151, send medical and 110, I need a forced entry. I got a female down in the garage. The officer forced entry to check on Crystal only to discover that she had been stabbed to death in the garage. Shortly after her husband arrived expecting normalcy, only to be met with the bad news, but there was a surprising twist. [Music] [Applause] To fully understand the case, we need to go back to October when it all began with an unknown stalker who started targeting Crystal. Once the situation escalated, she first spoke with an officer to report the issue. from a very long time ago who has occasionally over the last 20 years found me on social media apps or whatever and contacted and it's never been an issue. Until this month. So, um this month, I have received numerous text messages and then today I got an email that is very threatening, um threatening against both me and my family. Um and it escalated to the point that he took a recent picture of my husband at his work location. So, the stalking's getting a little too aggressive at this point in time. >> Wait, he took it himself? I don't know. That's just the thing. So, my my last contact with this individual was 4 5 years ago, something like that. Ended on a on a social media app of messages back and forth, um where I told him I was happily married. I had no interest in what he kept contacting me. He kind of blew things up and then blocked me. I blocked him. Haven't heard from him since. Okay. Um it this all started this month and I have a whole log. I have all the text messages. I have the email. Um uh I have not responded or engaged at all. Um but the text messages started on October 2nd, um asking to meet up, saying that he he looked me up, quote. So, I've never given him my phone number. I've never given him my email address. I've never given any kind of contact information at all. Um he uh ended with that he that he hoped that I killed myself. Hadn't heard from him at all until today. Today he sent an email to me um with a picture of my husband asking if this was my husband. It's a recent picture of either today or within the last couple of days cuz it's at his work location with snow on the ground. Um and and saying that uh he hopes he drives real safe and that nothing gets in his tailpipe. Okay. Um the so and and I again have not responded. So, I'm very concerned for my safety. So, I guess my question for you is is there a course of action to possibly take um that could potentially safeguard me from this individual? Um and uh I guess what I guess options I might have here. What do you know about him? Like, do you know where he lives currently? Do you know So, um he is a bit of a drifter. Um not that he's homeless or anything, but the um I went to after early October, I paid for whatever background searches like on internet that somebody like a TruthFinder. It looks like he's all over the place. I don't see a current address in Colorado. Okay. But clearly he's in Colorado and his very first text message to me said that he gets into Boulder every couple of weeks or something like that. Okay. So, he he's clearly in Colorado. I just don't know where and that and that phone number that he texted me from again, I will send you all information via The officer later met with Crystal in person in the same garage to discuss the stalker. She shared some alarming hints and clues that raised serious concerns. Okay. >> only assume a tracker based on the fact that he could show up there. And I don't see vehicles unless he's like stationed out like on corners. He's on one of the streets in our neighborhood waiting. Okay. Nobody like no car that keeps popping up that you can think of that's like hey, it's weird. I saw X car or anything like that. I ran a background check on him and I know what vehicle he drives and I can't I never see that vehicle. But The camera? Yeah. Okay. And he could be switching vehicles as well. True. And so, this would be my next question. Are Are you sure he is actually putting eyes on you and following you or is he just saying stuff that's specific but general enough that he could you're like, "Ooh, like So, the only way that I could think of that this event that he would be able to say what he did without putting eyes on me is he had a tracker on my phone and my phone picked up literally in that building and it didn't pick up any of the other buildings. Okay. But otherwise, like where I parked and then where I went to tell me that I went in the my dentist. >> Yeah, that's that's a little weird. So many other businesses there. Um the only other one is that he had taken a picture of my husband getting out of his vehicle. Where? In Denver. Okay. And was like certain range. So, that's the only one that I have that's um confirmation that like he would have seen Stalking is a very serious crime and one of the worst threats a woman can face, but what Crystal was experiencing was on a whole other level. On November 7th, she went to the police station to share the full story and report the escalating situation. Anything that I that I had interactions before, I have never dealt with like this kind of level at in like a online version and I think to myself of like advice that I give to my kids, like, "Watch out for online people." And I'm like, "This is exhausting." This is really like I can't believe like any kids would be dealing with stuff like this that comes from all directions at any time. Oh, yeah. You know, it's just it's a lot and it has definitely made me like paranoid everywhere I go, unfortunately. So. No, I can completely understand that. >> Yeah. Well, and I keep trying to remind myself this isn't intending to be terrorizing. This isn't intending to scare me. Okay. And in this timeline, we dated summer of '99. Okay. Very briefly. Like there was a breakup somewhere here like in the fall, so I did this kind of like also that you could see the way over there. Um last contact I ever had with him where he tried to reach out to me personally, saw him in person would have been like in the spring of 2001. Everything here you're going to see question marks cuz I'm like, "About?" Um I'm just trying to remember like where I was living um and where I had kids at the time cuz it was pretty alarming. Right? Where he's like, "We're meant to be together and my family loves that we're talking." I'm like, "Whoa, you think that we're like in a relationship?" So, I should have told him right away. I said, "This is really creepy for me. You need to stop. I'm married, happily married with children. You need to stop." And he got like real emotional, um real hurt. It wasn't angry, but it was hurt. He real like over the top emotions and then and then blocked me. I blocked cuz you can see when things get when someone blocks you on Facebook. I'm like, "Good." And I blocked him and then I I'm like and then I shut down Facebook entirely um before the pandemic. So, like there was no way to get a hold of me on any kind of old email address or old way and that's when this starts. Okay. So, I like hopefully this kind of gives a gauge of just how ridiculous this is. So, this all started back up again out of the blue. Um again, he did not have my cell phone number ever. Um cuz the number I have, even though I've had it forever, was after these contacts, right? So, like he never he never had my my phone number or my email, though I had it since you a really unique name. It's really easy to find me online. Yeah, no doubt. Like really easy to find me. So, he probably could have done just a comprehensive Google search, but what is important is that it was period it started October 2nd and 3rd. The only thing that was really alarming about this one is I was like "What do you mean you looked me up?" And I immediately got a sense of this something is not, especially after this last interaction where I'm like, "You're pretty delusional and you're coming out again of the woodwork and now going above and beyond to really find me." Crystal continued to receive threatening texts and emails while detectives work to track down the stalker. On another day, police met with her husband Daniel who had noticed suspicious activity at his home. 4:15, 4:20. So, I left. I watched the garage door closing, not necessarily closed. Okay. Uh my my wife drove that point home. Probably. Ran up to the store. I I came back about 4:50, 4:55. >> Okay. Uh as I came down, the door was open. The bigger one or the third? Okay. The double bay Got it. door. Okay. Uh so, as I pulled in, I saw someone. I think it was a guy, but it was it was so fast. >> Yeah. Uh blue jeans, gray shirt run out jump over my gate and take off that way. Got it. Okay. I cared less about following him than getting inside and checking on my kids. >> Yeah, absolutely. My daughter is adamant no one came in the house. She never heard the garage door open. She was in the living room right next to it. >> Okay. My wife and I tested her and I opened and closed the garage door. She couldn't hear it over the TV anyway. Okay. Um did you notice any tools or anything missing? That's a pretty common item. No? No. Okay. It's all they're all basic. Just tools anyway, nothing fancy. That's it. Uh no tools missing. Uh the bikes are all hanging on the wall still. None None of those are gone. Got it. Uh skis are in there, golf clubs. Everything seems to be there. >> Okay. Except the spare key. The house key. Okay. A couple of days later on November 16th, Daniel was called to the station for questioning. So far, the text messages indicated that Crystal's ex-boyfriend Anthony might be involved. The authorities tried to gather everything Daniel knew about the situation. So, like give me the background that you are aware of with Anthony. Uh how far back? My understanding is Crystal was dating him way back in like 1999. So, I don't know whatever information you have over the years. Um Uh she dated him prior to her relationship with me. Um So, that ended sometime before uh summer of 2001. That's when Crystal and I started dating. Uh she and I got married in 2007. Fast forward, still married. Um I know that Uh so, they had dated. At some point when we were living in our uh old house and again, this this is in her log that she's given you. Uh she had or he had reached out to her on via Facebook, wanted to connect and uh she was very open about that with me at the time that he had reached out. Uh she accepted the friend request. Who doesn't have friends from high school and college that you don't really talk to? Uh Then he started saying some creepy things, uh song lyrics, talking about romantic movies. She shut it down, uh shut down the the conversation with him. Uh she blocked him. I don't know if he blocked her. And kind of went away. Uh and every so often uh I can't say there was any real pattern or theme to any of it. Uh he would reach out to her again. Uh again, always via social media. Uh that stopped when she got rid of social media. I feel like that was pre-COVID um that she uh dropped her Facebook account. Um And then the series of events of the last few weeks. Okay. Got you. And I guess at what point did she tell you that he recontacted her this last time? Uh It was either November 1st or November 2nd. It was It was after she had gotten a picture of me at work. Okay. That she that she brought me up to speed on. That. On the day Crystal was murdered, Daniel was brought to the police station to give his statement. Any information that could help find the suspect was crucial, so the officers asked if he had noticed anything unusual in the days leading up to Crystal's death. [Music] Yes. Approximate. 8 8 20. It's It's It's It's hard to count. You said 8:20 and you left in which vehicle? Mine. Which is a Uh black Mazda. Okay. 8:24 sound right? Um Okay. You left out of the garage? Always. Is your car in the garage at the time? Um Yeah. Yeah. She uh She was rushing me out the door. I I was feeling guilty. I was late leaving. She had told me that I I had to go because she she had a meeting. She was rushing me and I I I went. She was She was in the kitchen. She was in the kitchen. And you couldn't get a hold of her because she sent you that text. And that's as much contact as you had with her today. And I I panicked when the the check marks weren't there. I didn't think she had it. The check marks The check marks mean Maybe she didn't Got it. What's you guys' interactions been like leading up to this? Just say I I felt like she was keeping secrets. All right. She She didn't tell me about Kickman. She She kept disappearing for hours. [Music] Over when it was supposed to She should have told me. No one wants to [Music] That's what she She She didn't keep secrets. That's what it is. That. Anthony. Kickman. That's what she told me. [Music] She She She'd leave and be gone for so long. She Last night. No. No, not last night. The first night. Tuesday. Tuesday. She left 2 hours early to get more work. No. No, not the same. 2 hours early. She kept leaving early, coming coming home late. Last Friday. Last night. Where she She wouldn't tell me. Daniel had multiple security cameras in the house and the system should have captured any unusual behavior. But when the detectives asked him to review the footage, things started to look very suspicious. [Music] [Music] No one had broken into the house and nothing had been tampered with. However, the CCTV didn't record any footage that morning, which was also very odd. So the detectives then tried to determine whether Daniel was being truthful or if he was hiding something. [Music] I'm sorry. That's the first time I've heard that. That's the first I'm sorry. Well, that's what happened and that's why we're taking this so seriously. [Music] [Music] I think it was Kickman and Anthony. I'm sorry. If not him, I have I have no other suggestions. What if I told you that we had already spoken with Anthony and there's no way that he was in town today? I have nothing. Terrified to bring my children home. What are you terrified of? If it wasn't him, who was it? I replaced all of our locks after the the garage intruder. I'll do it again. We have cameras. The Broomfield police were doing a thorough job investigating and tracking the text messages and emails. During this process, Daniel became caught in a tricky situation as detectives uncovered serious clues that linked him to the stalking. So some of that information that we've been able to receive today um is uh a little bit I don't know, concerning I guess. Um The Gmail account that um And you can speak more specifically. And that TextNow number we were talking about, the number that he initially texted Crystal from. The Gmail account, the Kickman account that you guys initially received with the photo of you in it. Uh-huh. And the the phone number, those originated through their IP addresses at your office. Doesn't make any sense. Well, he took the photo of me at my office. Right. But most of those accounts originated from IP addresses that was back to your office. I don't know what to do with that. The tables began to turn with much of the blame initially placed on Crystal's ex-boyfriend, but lies started to surface. It's shocking and hard to imagine how a husband could commit such acts against his own family. You don't get the bonds and the openness you once did for about 28 days from October 2nd to October 31st. To you amp it up a little bit. Send a photo of yourself to her on an account you created. See what her response is. I mean the IT did department. In fact, I can go check on where we're at with those records, but a lot of this stuff is going to shine through. And my hope is just that um we can at least be honest about those things. And agree that maybe maybe this started out the way that it was recorded and and then maybe it turned into something different. [Music] Is that what you suggest? That I would put my children in grave risk. We were drilling the kids. I'd love to deal with what we said on the fact that they had to pair up. They had to pair up. I'm lucky you're doing counseling for the kids. We don't want to wait to start that. I I I get that and heard it put together. But it alleges that you would do this to my children. No matter how the detectives examined the evidence and clues, Daniel's story didn't add up. With no more excuses to cover his actions, he became emotional as if hoping to change their minds. But judging by the situation, things were not looking good for him. That was able to turn off the cameras. That was able to access um password protected um system to turn off cameras. Um that was able to use your IP address from your work to create accounts to send messages and photos to act as a a stalking suspect. Well, tell me. Make help me make sense of it. I don't know. I'm not the one who does this. I I'm analytical at work. And I and I read and write fiction at home. I don't do I don't do crime drama. I don't know what it means. It's Kickman is 6 and 1/2 hour drive from here. There's no way he could have made that drive. If he flew, we would have record of that. That doesn't show up on any sort of flight records through the FBI, DEA, Homeland Security, anything like that. And then in fact, he was contacted in his house severely intoxicated. [Music] >> All this time you have been looking for him. For the protection of her. And you just found him today, like that. Cuz I've been looking at you. But I've been waiting for these records to come back. We've been chasing the wrong dog. You're under arrest. Is it It sounds like It sounds like You're You're accusing me. We have We have a lot of information that points your direction. And we're hoping that you could provide a legitimate ex- explanation other than it wasn't me. Two days later, after speaking with the detectives, Daniel was arrested on multiple charges, including the murder of Crystal. In April 2025, Daniel Krug's court trial began, and it didn't take long for the jury to reach a verdict. Ultimately, Daniel was found guilty of first-degree murder, stalking, and criminal impersonation. He was sentenced to life in prison. While Daniel's horrific actions tore his entire family apart, our next case may not be as tragic, but it's serious enough to show how quickly bad choices can lead to legal trouble. Before that, if you enjoyed the video, please give us a thumbs up. In Washington, police noticed a vehicle making an illegal left turn into a parking lot on January 13th, 2025. It didn't seem like a major offense, so the officer began by checking the driver's documentation. I'm an officer with the Kirkland Police. Do you know I'm audio and video recording? I I'm I'm going to record you and I'm going to take you. I know why you pulled me over, because it says no left turn there. Yep. Yep, exactly. Okay. Yep. And so Yep. Yep, that's why I'm here, so I'm only one person. I can only stop so many cars at a time. Yeah, just because your GPS says to turn left, you still have to follow all the signs and markings on the road all the time. I know, but that's why that sign's there. Do you have your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance? Do you have any sort of Do you have any sort of identification? Because you still did not follow the I'm in control of my device. That's the sign there. So, you still Right, the speed limit all of a sudden says on your phone or anything like that, like 40 miles an hour, but it's a construction zone, and it says it's 25, and that's what's posted out on the street. I I'm just giving you an example, right? So, the lines devices that are on the road, meaning the signs, those are more lawful and what what you're supposed to do, rather than a GPS, which is not always accurate. Right? GPS may tell you to turn left somewhere, but if that road's closed, it doesn't mean you can turn left there. I really feel like I'm being violated right now, for real. Cuz other cars are doing it as well, and I feel like I'm getting pulled over for driving while black and hurting. Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. Like I said, you're the first I just parked there, and you're the first car that I saw. Do you have And then, this looks like this is the title. Do you have like the actual registration for it? Okay. All right, just wait here. I'll be right back. It didn't take long for the officers to discover that the driver had an active warrant. Up to that point, everything was going smoothly, and the officer asked for his cooperation, but the man had other plans. I'll put it behind here. Just going to open the door, sir. For what? I need to have you step out real quick. For what? And why are there spikes behind my car? So, you're not free to go. First of all, first of all, You're not down with your aggression. Listen. Listen. Listen. Hold on. First of all, cuz if you get aggressive with me, it's going to be a lawsuit. I'm not aggressive towards you guys at all. I'm going to tell you one last time. You need to step out of the car, otherwise I'm going to put my hands on you, and I don't want to do that. >> I am asking a question. Here's my hat. My hat. Giving my wife my belongings. >> That's fine. I'm not doing anything crazy. I'm getting out. Can you please back up? I have bad interactions with the police. Just going to have you step out. >> get out, turn around, and put my hands on the roof of my car. Please. So, we're going to maintain our position. Okay, he's right here. I don't want to step on this man, bump into this man. I'm not worried about you doing that. Sta- Just stand out of the car, and then turn around for us. Now, you see how they're being [ __ ] I'm asking for my safety and theirs. As you can see, the man was stalling and refusing to follow lawful commands, but little did he know, actions like that come with consequences. Things could have gone very smoothly, but his actions led to a bad situation. Wait. Wait. Hey, You're being placed under arrest. You've been advised the reason for your Hands behind your back, sir. Stop touching me. Bro, y'all didn't even let me put my hand on my car. Don't take ME TO THE GROUND. I'MMA SUE YOUR YOU'RE TWISTING MY ARM. I understand this is a misdemeanor, bro. Come on, bro. I asked him to let me out my car so I can turn around and put my hands on my car. I've had bad altercations with police abusing me like this before. All right. I'm sorry that happened. So, wait. Sir, I need you to >> resisting anything. I'm sitting. I'm maintaining my position. I am maintaining my position and my safety. Can you reach across and get Cuz you have twisted both of my arms out of human goddamn twisting form. Cuz you're dead angry. You're given every option to comply, sir. And I did. You did not. I got out of my car. It's on camera. It's on camera. Fight me in court. Fight me in court. It's on camera. I don't want to talk to you. >> on our cameras as well. >> And it is. And I got out the car. I got out the car. I'm not saying you didn't. I got out the car. I submitted I Hey. I got out the car and let them arrest me. You a After detaining the man, the police's job was far from over. The officers were just doing their duty, but the man's family quickly became an issue. Hey, don't. I'm all up with stolen. No. No. No. Not that you have the license on your person. Do you have a license I do, but I don't have it on As long as you have a Ma'am, as long as you have a valid license, that's all I'm asking. You don't have to have it on you. That's okay. We just get permission. Is that your husband? Yes. Why? Just asking. You don't have to give me your full name. I'm just trying to chat. Was it? Nice to meet you. My name's Corporal Gore, okay? What can I do to help you? >> Y'all just manhandled my husband. See, he got to be for a misdemeanor. I I know I know sorry that's what's here. I wasn't talking to you. I just pulled up. I just No, I don't want to talk to you at all. I don't want to talk to you at all. I don't want to talk to He has a warrant for assault. Don't want to talk to him. Don't want to talk to him. Who? I wasn't here, though. He can help explain better what happened. I just I just It's a non-violent misdemeanor. That is not true. That right there, I was there for the incident. It's non-violent. I mean, lie. It was not an assault. >> warrant for assault. I understand it was not an assault. I was there for the crime. It was not an assault. He ain't lying. I can tell you the reason the warrant is There was no need for all that. You almost You threw HIM OUT THE CAR for what reason? He wasn't He wasn't He wasn't resisting. He wasn't doing nothing. He wasn't violating anything. >> law. All he had to do is He has a bad arm. And you were you were assaulting him for no reason. For no reason at all. You guys need four officers deep for one man? And it's not even a felony. Four officers deep? Is that really necessary? That's what he was complying on. He even He even He even He said, "I'm going to go with you." Three times, "I'm going to go with you." And they still manhandled him. There was no need for any of that. >> Okay, as I said, I wasn't here for it. Man, how do you think it looks? Four or five white men and one black family. Well, I can say it wasn't four or five, it was three. Okay? But now it's four. >> Now it's four because obviously things got escalated when he wasn't going to go into handcuffs. >> He was. He said He said three I have it on video. He said three times, "I'm going to go with you." Just because he said he was going to go with us, he did eventually step out of the car being directed multiple times. I asked a question. >> to put his hands behind his back for us to put him in handcuffs. >> And he said he would. >> But he didn't. But he said he would. You didn't give him a chance to. You're impatient. That's your problem. >> issue. I'm talking to Corporal. I'm very mad at you, so I'm going to talk to you. >> But as this officer was complying What is it? I don't need your Hello, what happened? So, it's just you and I I missed his name. Just you and No, she have a baby. >> a baby? How old is the baby? No, she Sorry, you didn't know her baby. I've been here right right here in front of in front of her. They didn't even move her. They didn't move her right in front of her. Why are you getting so close? I'm not going to, but just so you're aware, okay? I just say it and and I'm not just trying to be rude about it. It's just the simple fact that you're not a resident here, so I have to take you. It's you know. >> We couldn't like use my grandma's address or anything to like save us? You're not a resident. You're a resident of South Carolina, aren't you? Unfortunately. The woman didn't like being handcuffed, believing her military ID would give her special privileges, but the law applies to everyone, and maybe this would be a lesson for her. You also have the right to stop answering anytime until you talk to your lawyer. Do you understand your rights? With that in mind, do you wish to speak to me? I'm not going to deal with this smart talk anymore. Yes or no question. You already ran her? Yeah. No license? Nothing. We're out of here. We're done. We'll be We'll be going later. All right. If you don't want to talk, it's fine. You want to drive or a license, that's fine. Am I Am I answering your questions? I'm sorry. Am I literally I know we're done. Okay. Cuz she had pulled over when I came by here. Literally pushed me out. Let me put it in the car. I was like, "What the hell?" Well, she was screaming screaming. I couldn't hear over the radio. I heard a lot of a lot of radio traffic, so I got pulled, and I can't hear what's going on. I look at you, I'm like, "Yo, I need help. I got to get this chick out. She's like >> had no idea. I heard her yell something. I thought they were going to point at me. I was like, "Yeah, tell them 10-4, step forward." Oh. And I was like I didn't hear my number, but I I guess it I couldn't hear [ __ ] Yeah, I mean, she had attitude with me. From the start, she handed me this defensive uh It's a DOD military Yeah. ID. I said, "Where's your driver's license?" I just use that. I said, "No, you need a valid driver's license." "Oh, well, I just switched purses out and stuff. I use this all the time." I said, "No, that's not valid." So >> out of New York, then, right? Uh Uh Virginia. I ran her out of. Yeah. And well, and uh couldn't find her, either. I mean, it's a shame, because I really, you know, somebody that's Well, yeah, she just wanted She just wanted to come It shows what Florida says. She's never been issued a driver's license. So, she knows she shouldn't be driving if that's the case. Um doesn't show suspended. All I wanted to do was talk to her and see if maybe I mean, with this new system, who knows? It is what it is. If she doesn't want to talk and tell you what state she has a driver's license out of, don't give me that to you. Another officer tried to gather her information so they could start the processing. Things might have gone differently if she had complied from the start, but pleading to change the officer's mind wasn't going to help much. What license do you are you driving out of? Do you have a license at all? I do. I It's Texas. Texas? >> Yeah, I can give you my social. I don't know why she didn't ask me for that. >> Cuz the So, why she's saying that she asked you or you gave her a extremely hard time. >> No, she asked me if I had a driver's license, and she made me feel like I was lying to her. I literally showed her my bag. I just switched it. People forget Sure. >> I literally don't have it on me, but I do have it on my phone. >> Yeah. So, I would have I didn't really want her to have a head injury. I could have tried to pull her feet out, and I grabbed them, and I thought twice, cuz I just I didn't have somebody else, and I didn't want to risk that. Yeah. So, the reason why you were detained is because you gave her extremely hard time, okay? I wasn't resisting. I literally asked her if she was asked if she said, "Get out of your car so I can read your rights." I said, "Wait a minute." It clicked, and I said, "Well, why are you" Like, she didn't say that before. She said that the second time. And then I said, "Well, wait, are you arresting me?" And then she said, "I'm reading your rights. Get out of the car." And then I said, "What?" And she literally went into my car and forced herself in and started yanking me out. I just wanted to know why she was doing what she was doing. That's all I was asking her, and she got frustrated and upset and went into my car and yanked me out. And I Well, I don't have time and I can't get out of my car. I don't have time for that. Not at all. And out of the car, you can cry all you want. Out of the car. We're going to double check Texas, you said, right? You have a license out of? Yes, and my husband is on his way. He drives a motorcycle, so I don't know about my car, but So, you guys live here in Cape Coral? We do. Okay. All right. Just hang tight for me, okay? >> Okay, thank you. You want to run her out of Texas? She says she has a valid DL out of Texas. 11's here on 101 K2. We're going to tell him to hold. What people cut through here, I see them. I want bank parking lot, this one. Pull out of the bank lot and then pull them over immediately here. Usually They usually come in here, but this What's the violation? Oh, driving off the roadway. >> 16074. Texas people cut into the void of traffic control questions. Stop sign or the red light. Good to know. Just trying to get here. Everyone's an idiot today. Drop her out of that in a minute at the block. Oh, you need to what? Go to jail. Yeah. Yeah. I know, and she's like, "I always show everybody this." What is that? >> This is not a driver's license. Spouse ID. DOD. Why does she not have a driver's license? That's that one. Well, like, why not, though? Cuz it's expired 3 years ago. No, but I'm saying, like, why why wouldn't you not just go get your license? Like, it doesn't Cuz she is somebody special. After all the drama, it turned out the woman didn't even have a driver's license, but the argument didn't end there. Theoretically. Massachusetts? I mean, that's probably How long have you been living in Florida? Um since All right, 101 K2. 2015. Since May of this year or last year? No, no, no, this past year. So, 2024, May? Okay. And where were you before? Texas or Massachusetts? >> No, Virginia. Virginia? Do you have a Virginia license? Um I don't think so. >> Well, so it's just Texas? I I might have Mass, but for now, it's just Texas. Okay. Yeah, so the Texas one expired in 2022. Well, I didn't know that. I didn't know that. >> Um Where I'm sorry, what? >> Where were you at the 2022? Oh god. Um Hawaii. Hawaii? Okay, do you have a Hawaii license or not? No, you never took that out? I preached it. I'm not in the vehicle. Pulled out with his calling the boyfriend. Guessing so. The woman's boyfriend was called, and instead of acknowledging that what had been done was wrong, he tried to argue in her defense. For the cops, the trouble just could not end there. She's trying to do a lane. Okay. Or a parking lot. Okay. And then the cops were pulling her out of the vehicle. Because I asked her to step out of the vehicle, and she refused. For what purpose? Well, she's going to jail right now, cuz she has no driver's license. Actually, she does have a driver's license. From where? Okay. Huh? From where? From Texas. It's expired by more than 22 years. She has a military service member that's also passed on to the spouse. I already have it pulled up on my phone. It's on my bike. It's still valid. You can't use that as an ID, but it's a valid license. So, but you've been living in Florida since May of last year, correct? That's right. So, you can't have a Texas license if you're living in Florida. >> That's not true. As I'm an active duty military, yes, we can. >> Okay. You can't have an expired driver's license by over 6 months. It's a criminal offense. It doesn't matter if you're in the military. I'm in the military, too. Then you should know. It doesn't matter. You can have a a license out of another state. That is true, but you still have to have a valid license. It is valid. Is she deployed right now? No, she's not. That's the only excuse to not keep your license renewed. Thank you. Do it right now, then. I I can tell you that you still have to have a valid license. Driver's license. They can have a a license out of a different state, but they still have to have a valid license. Yeah, to be able to drive. If you are military duty member, spouse, or dependent and are stationed outside the state of Texas, not outside the state of United States, the expiration date of your Texas ID is automatically extended, unless your driver's license has been suspended, canceled, or revoked, which it has not. >> Where are you guys stationed at? Uh South Fort Myers. The only one in town. Are you like a recruiter or something? >> On tem- temporary, yeah. >> Okay. I was like I was we're trying to figure out why there would be a station there. I've never heard of that. What What statute is that? >> That is Yeah, but we're looking at 2022. This is 2 years. Three. Three years, yeah. What are we thinking? That And that's fine, cuz it doesn't have the time >> Cuz you've only been Yeah, I don't think so. It's a DL 16 P. Out of state back of 10 back 24. Okay. Thank you, then. Of course. The highlighted one. Sorry, the drawing's got me going. That's why I'm a little shaky. It's It's understandable. The The problem is when she was asked to step out of the vehicle, she >> a resisting charge, too. She was >> Well, why was she asked to step out of the vehicle? >> a reason other than officer safety. If we're requesting you to step out of the vehicle, you have to step out of the vehicle. Why? What makes you feel feel like you're unsafe? >> Because right now >> ones with guns, aren't you? >> a driver's license. She did not have a valid driver's license. >> going to jail. So, what happens if >> to interview her to determine whether or not she has a valid driver's license. Okay, but we asked her to step out of the vehicle and she refused to comply. Yes, she does. Unless you have a probable cause >> You know what? I'm taking her into the >> right. Y'all can be in touch with me, guys. That's all right. What do you want to do with the vehicle? You want to tow it? Uh I'm going to drive >> to take it? Yeah. I'm going to park my vehicle at a secure parking lot. And then I'm going to take my vehicle. That's all right.
