speeding in running a stop sign prompting a traffic stop the officer found a 20-year-old woman in the driver's seat and question her about a potential seat switch despite her denials and those of the passengers the officer remained suspicious leading to further investigation were you the one driving mhm you sure about that yeah all right it you got your uh registration Group Insurance 34 we pulled up that room it's not giving us a name for anybody in it yeah I've been in that room a couple times uh it's going be attached to a all right you got Pro urance you go ahead you're 100% certain you had nothing to drink anything like that you just normally drive like that despite the dri's insistence the officer grows more suspicious as her story becomes increasingly inconsistent under further questioning today was good I just so the the the story is he was simply hugging her what do you mean you guess that's what happened okay if if I can prove that he was driving everybody's getting your mouth put your tongue lift it you lift your so you now are under arrest for operating motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol a drug or a combination of if you refuse to take any chemical test required by L your high driving privileges will be suspended immediately and you will have to pay a fee to have the privileg just reinstated so since you're under 21 the limit is 02 02 okay so would you like to provide a breath sample what you're going to do is you're going to put your mouth on this mouth e and you're going to take one continuous breath you're going to blow one continuous breath on it's like your um one up C okay you can't stop you got to blow blow blow blow [Music] understand come in over here put your mouth directly on that pce one deep bread and blow blow nothing else I can do I mean she can't provide a breath samp she can't provide a bre ultimately the officer decided to give her a ride home after issuing several citations considering her safety and the circumstances of the arrest I read this this bottom part okay so basically if you the the refusal portion which if you can't provide a breast sample is where we're at it's one year your license is suspended for a year okay if you blow and you blow under um it's different how long he said 15 to 20 seconds it has to be it has to be uninterrupted though I mean if you're going to blow for 6 7 seconds and then you're going to stop it's not going to register I mean there's no there's really no way of fooling this machine like if you if you stop blowing it's going to know if you act like you're going to start blowing and you don't start blowing it's going to enough I mean trust me I've tried to fool it really ain't no fool in this machine I mean either you just do or you don't it's pretty simple okay I'm not sure what to do in this situation cuz I tried to blow and not so at that point it would get put down as a refusal um and then your license would automatically be SP for a year so basically what it's doing now it's basically printing out the insufficient sample Pap paperwork which counts as so um your license will be suspended for from this moment on for a year have a seat I I'm going to read this bottom portion to you okay so independent of any penalties or sanctions imposed upon you perer to any other section if do a hire Revised Code or Municipal ordinance your driver's license or commercial driver's license permit or non-resident operating privileges is now suspended the suspension takes effect immediately the suspension will last at least until your initial appearance on the charge which will be held within 5 days after the date of this arrest or the issuance of a citation to you you may appeal the suspension at the initial appearance before the court that hears the charge against you that resulted from the arrest or during the period of time ending 30 days after that initial appearance okay all right come up here might be assign these two was fined $750 ordered to attend a three-day Driver's Intervention Program and her license was suspended for 6 months up next a night out turned wild as a routine Drive led to a tense encounter with the police forcing a woman to confront her choices and the weight of consequences yes sir drunk sure all whatever the pull me over for drunk um missing tail light I don't care just get me sir on August 11th 2024 an officer stopped a suspicious vehicle in New Mexico that was driving improperly as soon as he approached the vehicle he identified a female in the driving seat who looked disoriented the officer also noticed her slurry speech which led to further question how are you hey sorry give me a second what's going on I was trying to call him okay do you have your driver's license man I guess 545 come you step down the additional on to four and I'll be Fields drop a copy so9 will you turn your vehicle off for me it sounds like it's about to break drive to get some the window in August 2024 the Santa Fe Police Department responded to a call regarding an incident of neighborly dispute in Florida upon arrival the police officer inspected the damages along with the video footage hi so what's going on I thought this vain parking more with my neighbor who doesn't want us parking in front of the wall and my dad came up to visit he's helping me move my office but attorney will will approve a search warrant for video surveillance on a misdemeanor charge right now if the rose to fony charge then indefinitely yeah but I got to talk to your dad what constitutes a felony Miser is the the the amount of damage right and I think it's a $1,000 or more is is the way it works so I need to talk to your dad to get an approximation from him is there um a way I could get a restraining order on her yeah you're more than welcome to go down to the District Courthouse on monuma and file for restraining order the issue with that is going to be that it's going to be a do not a domestic it's going to be a civil order non-domestic and it will cost you about 100 bucks a fighting Fe um now if you get a restrain order that's on you but if you call us saying that she violated we can come out and do a report but we're not going to arrest her on a on a on a civil order all right civil orders hold no criminal no criminal act to it so she violates it it's not a criminal act right on the other hand if it's a domestic order then there is a criminal act that she violates does that make sense no well that she did a criminal I'm not talking about that we're talking about the we're talking about the restraining order right so if she violates a restraining order it's not a criminal act okay okay so what would you would have to do if she violates it is you would have to go to uh the courthouse and file a order to show cause and then the judge what summons her the judge summons you and then you guys what argued on the court so that's that's how the Civil
