starting with an odd scenario watch as this woman went to Great Lengths to protect her son's misdeeds give a lame as on October 6th 2024 an officer was on patrol and noticed a stolen vehicle with a vehicle is that the one not 100% sure well I'm going to I'm going to tell you that that's what's going on okay because he was in the storm vehicle and he's he's being under arrest if we find him okay that's perfectly fine they do what they do they wrong for what they do they they going to pay for it that's how it is uh the keys is this your vehicle or is this her vehicle no this is her neighbor's vehicle so what's she doing in it she was using it okay well where's her neighbor at who owns the vehicle she lives at the E well if the neighbor wants a keys then she can come and talk to me I can't get them no it's not your vehicle so why was dude being disrespectful with the glasses on his head he allowed to talk to anybody any all the officers have body warn cameras sir okay so so I just call down there and get it no if you want to that's fine I mean the officers are trying to do their job and apprehend some criminals here who have a stolen vehicle which is a felony in the state of Ohio so I mean sometimes things may be said which you may not like and it's unfortunate I don't mind but theyed her on her property well she's under arrest well they didn't anate anybody she's under arrest and she's being charged okay listen just because you're on your property you can't just say anything you want that's not my spe it's not freaking no incorrect if you're obstructing the officer's investigation it's different she wasn't obstructing nothing she was well that's why she's under arrest how was she obstructed she could go to court if you disagree with it you could go to court if you disagree with it you could be her witness and we'll call it a day how's that sir okay okay so she's she's being under arrest okay mhm all right anything else you want for me so I'll take care of so if that neighbor wants her keys to her car she can come down and talk to one of us and I'll get her her keys to her car okay if it's her car just let her know that hey man can I get a picture of your name man talk to the sergeant cuz y'all ignorant as I am the sergeant well why do I get arrested for telling kids wasn't driving why are y'all chasing a fortold with a gun why am I being arrested for that front of my house you man y'all man y'all couldn't wait to arrest me but it's all good y pay for this one cuz I'm definitely getting an attorney calling my wife mom yeah yeah arrested me for telling my son was running you arrested me for telling you my son was running he wasn't driving a car the out of here no that wasn't no lawful order by telling me to shut my mouth in front of my house that ain't no lawful order bro here's another charge whatever bro take me down it is what it is I knew this was coming lawful order my a give me no lawful order you told me to shut up in front of my your's excuse that's your's excuse you ain't nobody complain but y the woman was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer obstructing official business failure to disclose personal information disorderly conduct and motor vehicle theft next meet this woman who thought she had a clever plan to take what she needed without getting caught but things didn't go as smoothly as she'd hoped when I say everybody does it I mean everybody does it so like I but right now we're here for you I see the I saw the videos I saw you walk out with on August 31st 2023 an officer received a report of a woman attempting to steal goods from a store in Florida at the store the manager explained to the police how the woman strategically took items and reviewed the CCTV footage she would not scan all the items for her kids or she would void out the entire transaction and allow her kids or herself would walk out follow of the product not paid for it was 31 instances of that between 6123 through 8323 31 times she did that totaling 1,486 07 of stolen merchs there obviously there's items that she didn't pay for that's not included in that total that's just what was not paid for what he did there were four instances where he's on a register and she herself would bring up her merchandise and he would not ring up all of her Idols sometimes he doesn't ring up anything he would just bring up one item and boid it out everything else he would allow her to put back onto the cart and let her walk out she works out corre it's four times of that and all those items that we were able to identify that were not paid for was 27432 all of that happened last month on 74 through 722 was four times with him that he had helped her and she you were in her you said right can we see the video sure make sure that in the then I'll okay [Applause] um you want to see either one or yes so I have it per day that's on June 1st through August 3rd um so let's go to we'll go to the first one so I'm going to pull up the other camera because this one she has the merchandise off to the side this is the overhead camera these are the items who came up with the items can she did she wrote the items up okay um but it was sitting there for a while I only saved like a small clip cuz the the longer the radio the larger the clip the larger hand it holds and so what she does is she only brings up she doesn't ring up I believe it was three items it was just these three items mhm we uh was what was identified that was not R up that was total of 447 I mean the first time it was like small but as she contined got more comfortable with what she was doing um we started having larger transactions like this one was on 621 $106 I can go to around 621 so this was for other people that she um she knew I don't know if it's it's not her daughters but I know that there are other ones with her daughter but this one is with other people that she knew I don't know so all of these items were not paid for oh I know the little girl and her mom works here see and so what she did was she allowed them to ring it up and at the end of it she boarded the entire transtion can I see the overhead um computer I mean camera for this one transaction so that's when they come up the exors are over here up this just do you have to have any other identifying information for the male he's here we can do a fingerprint that's here now let me see his so I can see what I have on him since he's here so we'll know what we're going to do with him the officer spoke with the employee who assisted the suspect to better understand the situation what what's going on on my just so you know you're not under arrest I just want to know what's going on tell me what happened I mistake relax I made a mistake what happened it's not funny it's just you know being young and having an opportunity and just being D and now that I'm put stuff in Jeopardy put myself in a position that I don't like to be in this is embarrassing but I was go I ain't going to cry though I ain't going to cry we good you guys are pretty chill so I'm not really too much nervous no more after talking but at the end of day just a mistake and and and I'm assuming the proper proceeding is going to happen that's a i there's not really much to it the man told me to write that and then just I've been sitting back here since then so oh I don't know what he WR I just to what's the mistake tell me about it uh they said last month they got me for not scanning like what couple items but then they wanted me to pinpoint how much of this I'm like I everybody he talked to about me they all said the same thing like he's not that type of kid it's that third and um that's basically where I was at with that situation um me and him we just talked about it and he told me to write that and he'll I guess he'll be back and talk to me some more or something like that and I just been waiting since then that's pretty much the situation I hand so I'm just s waiting to see what what's going to happen what about the items that you didn't skin what happened to them uh they up in the air out the store or either put back into go backs there's a lot of different things we do do with the items but then that's another thing he wanted me to like like the things he want me to answer or things like a month or two months ago and I'm like hey I can barely remember things from last week but I can try my hardest to re jump all way back then and tell you the best I can and I don't know if that's really much help but no but you said he told me there some items that was in scan yeah he wasn't specific he wasn't specific on any other the stuff like that well he just basically said said hey you've been flagged in the system for this and this is as what this what we got this is what's going on but he don't he didn't tell me what items wasn't scanned or nothing like that he didn't tell me how much or nothing like that it was just more of a the system is reporting you so we got to do an investigation into what's going on and that's where I'm at currently with it do you remember any item not being scanned do you remember any em was voided or anything like that yeah when it comes to voiding that's common between between the cashiers like if a customer doesn't want it or if something happens or if a customer already purchased item and they're just exchanging for another or they damage their item it's common for them to just here I hey I I bought this and me being a cashier that's already seen their face once they come up put it in the bag here go your bag go and bu your day because you already purchased that item prior to this interaction I've seen your receipt I've seen the whole prior than that right and I mean but as far as the store concerned that's not the correct way to handle things when it comes to that aspect of it um that's pretty much it when it comes to I'm going to send all everything I have to the state attorney and they're the one who's going to make the decision on on making um either making an arrest or not making an arrest okay but this is serious as you know I have all the videos and the manager is going to send them to me tonight and they can we can move forward with them the pop then read the woman her rights and questioned her before transporting her to the station can I use the bathroom County the suspect ects were already in the security office when the cops arrived and they were surprised by the methods had used to steal the items all right you guys have ID on you I don't have any her she's not going to swing on my mom because she's over here hitting her so I grabbed her hair and I pulled her to the ground and then she want to come at me and hit me and then where and how did she hit you she hit me in my face and then she grabbed me by my hair and I couldn't get up she F and I couldn't get up and then her son is over here choking me out and I couldn't breathe and I told him to get off of me and I told him I can't move anywhere how do you want me to get off of her when she has me by my ha and I can't move anywhere and you're choking me and then she want to talk again and then she want to swing on me again cuz I told her to shut up because she keeps on talking talking keep on and keep on leave on one and I'm trying to do my homework and she wants to keep on talking then she goes and grabs me by my hair again and I'm not going to just let her grab me by my hair so I grab her hair and put it to the ground and hold her hand so she doesn't hit me and then she want to keep on grabbing my hair and then I got up and sat down and she want to leave and I said well I got to go to work so I leing she gets on her car fast and back out there and then she's on the side there'll be people there that work there that can answer more questions for you I promise it's not going to be as bad as what you're thinking okay but you have to work with me so that we can make sure that we get it I get I get us a lot so what do you need do you need to be checked out I can have FD come here and check you out but you'll still have to go you you'll still have to go if F comes and checked on the kid make sure the kid was okay saw the car was running I went back inside and asked every single person that was in the building if they had a great BMW or if they were missing a child um no one had there was no one in um to go waiting on food or anything like that so I came back outside immediately called 911 and waited for you guys to get here while keeping an eye on the child
