Authorities said they discovered a wad of cash and close to 4 oz of marijuana while searching the vehicle, as well as more contraband in the trunk, narcotics hidden in the door handles, and lots of pills. Police also found 12 packages that were sealed and inscribed with large numbers. Each package reportedly had a weight listed, but when they were weighed at the sheriff's office, the measurements didn't match. Hervey was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of 29 hydrocodone pills that were not prescribed to him, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
