What did she do? put her hands on me for the woman was charged with possession of cocaine, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct. Now, see this man, how he tried to trick the officer and wanted to get away with just a traffic ticket. But he forgot about his warrants for another traffic violation. And just like that, his plan to go home completely fell apart. On January 30th, 2024, while patrolling Civil Avenue, an officer stopped a white Cadillac SUV speeding westbound with John A. Washington behind the wheel for a traffic violation. The officer began checking the necessary documents, but the man kept insisting it was just a simple traffic ticket. However, when the officer ran his ID through the system, things took a surprising turn. He was about to get much more than just a ticket. Over there at Kentucky and Soul Avenue, you failed to use your blinker. And then over there at Kentucky and Baltimore, right? No, I'm not playing. You I'm serious. My ticket, bro. You failed to come to a complete stop and you failed to use your turn signal as well. Then the speed limit is only 25 25 miles an hour. All right. Give me the ticket. All right. No problem. Give me your license. I'll give you your tickets. All right. So, do you not have a valid license? My license number is on there. This is number my ID number is license number. You can run that. So, you don't have a valid license? Huh? Do you have a valid license? My license to run my license. That's all. So, I'm just saying this is the ID only though. All right. Can I see the ID number? Yeah, absolutely, man. You see this? Yeah. That's my license number. Okay. But if you see if you see that you see this right now if you see this that's my license number. Give me another ticket for not having my license. All right, man. I'll just spray you all the tickets. All right. Give me all the tickets. I got you, bro. You want them? I'll give it to you. I got you. I got you, man. No problem. He's very unhappy. She is very unhappy. He is. He is. There's a dog in the car and he has a warrant. He does have for a dumb bum traffic warrant. Just FYI. Is it is it a traffic under 500? 750. I got to lock them up. 750. Oh, 750. As soon as you get the cars, just write me a ticket. Okay, I'll write you them all, bro. Check out the vehicle for me, please. What's up, puppy? So, your license is currently suspended. Is anyone that come pick up a car? My mom on our way. She's on her way. Yeah. All right. Could you turn the car off? Just to know you're under warranty. Traffic. Traffic. I go to court tomorrow for traffic. traffic. You guys go to court tomorrow for traffic. $750 warrant for traffic. I go to court tomorrow for traffic. No, I go to court tomorrow for traffic. Literally Atlantic City. Yeah. Well, it's for failure to appear. I guess you're supposed to bail on it. Bail on it. When did you post bail on it? Nah, bro. This is crazy, man. This is This is crazy, man. Oh, got cool. Like I'm cool with it. But yeah, you'll be in and out then. No, it ain't it. It's a process, bro. Yeah. Is this another ticket or or how many? No, I go tomorrow. I posted about $750. I posted at the station. I went to Where did you go? When did you go to post it? Do you remember when? Uh there's a paperwork cuz listen, if I can help you out, I don't I don't want to lock you up some dumb track. No, but that's my I go to the 31st. Okay, bro. very nervous like if you call let her tell you I got a court date tomorrow morning. Is there any proof that you can show me? I don't think she going to be able to find her. It's popping up in the system. But that that was the whole thing. That's why I I the warrant pop when the warrant popped. I I got the letter in the mail. Mhm. I called them. They said the only way I can resolve it is to come down there and pay the $750. Okay. I went down there 10% gave them the $75. They gave me the paper and they sent me a court date saying I go to court on the 31st. And what date was that? Babe, the bell that I posted, I got a warrant now. When did when did you go? It's in It's in the system that it's active $750 out of Atlantic City. During the stop, the officer discovered the active warrant and explained it was for unpaid fines. Washington claimed he had paid part of the fine and had a court appearance scheduled for the next day, but he couldn't provide proof. And I paid it just because I don't like I've been out here 10 years getting go back to jail, bro. Like I don't like that. That's why you pulled me over for failure to do a blinker. You want me to stop at S Avenue violations, bro? You want me to stop at S Avenue? They get over there. Stop over there. Why you over there then? I got family that live over there. I dropped off my little cous money and I was getting out of here. No. Can we Bro, I need to get What are you trying to give her? Listen to what I'm saying. All I'm asking you to do, can you just be patient? I'm going to let you lock me up. I have no issues with that. I just want my mom. My mom is coming. Okay. Well, so listen. I'm going to put you in handcuffs and we're going to go from there. I don't need to throw you right in the car and all that. What you need the handcuffs for right right now? Cuz you're under arrest. I get that. I'm not running traffic ticket. No, it's a traffic warrant. Yes. So, like I said, you are under arrest. Doesn't matter. You are under arrest. Place your hands behind your back. Look, call TC and TT and tell him to call my uncle Ernest Jubilee and tell him what like this is crazy. Okay, I don't care. You can call me call. Yeah, like I'm going to tell you one more time. If you refuse to do so, I'm going to charge you resisting arrest. Turn around. Place your hand on your back. I'm not trying to tell you. The man was charged with obstruction, resisting arrest, and making terroristic threats along with receiving multiple traffic violations as he had initially requested. Now meet this guy acting tough and threatening people right in front of the police. But the moment he realized he had crossed the line, he tried to make a bold move to fix things. However, he completely underestimated the officers standing right there. On February 16th, 2023, a sheriff's deputy responded to a disturbance call at a McDonald's in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The situation escalated when a suspect argued with a deputy after being told to leave a McDonald's. The suspect claimed he had been inside before and was being unfairly targeted. A bystander added fuel to the tension, leading the suspect to further protest. Man, let me see. Talk to me nicely, bro. Get off me. Get off here. Get off me, bro. Exactly. So, bring it down. Bring it down to my level. Do you understand my frustration? I have not committed a criminal activity. I accidentally fell asleep cuz I don't got nowhere to stay. I hear you. Okay. Now, when they told me, what I'm going to do, right, get out of here. You hear me? What I'm going to do, I'm going to pick you up myself, brother. Solo. I'm going to have you sit right. [Music] I'm going to pick you up. It's going to feel like I'm in hand on you. I'm not. I just don't want nobody else. No. No. Got me hot, bro. Cuz them girls cheering on and Oh, yeah. Get him. Get him. Get him. Don't worry about it. All right. Well, I got you. I got you, bro. You got me. But I'm not I'm going to make you stand up. I got you, bro. All right. I need to figure out the real story, bro. Guess what we doing. All right. So, man, come back and get All right. I come back and get my Can I get an explanation? We going to do that? I need an explanation. We going to do so. Obviously, they told me. Obviously, they told me whatever. Nobody told me. It was nothing. No trespassing, nothing, bro. Getting my can't for me, coming back to get my stuff, my property. Then they rushed me out. When asked for identification, he refused and demanded a sergeant's presence. The deputy's efforts to restrain him were met with claims of excessive force. Sergeant, we're going to put you in here. Chill out. Dooo. Come on, man. Wrong, bro. We got it. Look, we going to shoot. Why don't you think so? Take this little bag off. I'm not taking nothing off cuz I'm not telling him to get off me, bro. I hear you. Tell him to get off because I'm not detained. When the sergeant says I'm yaching nervous boy open your hand. No. No. Break it. Break it. Save me. Break it. Do it. Relax. Break my thumb. Break my thumb. You want to speak to the sergeant? He's here. Stop playing. Relax. Relax. No. That keeps happening for me. Can you explain that? And I calm down. I'm trying to but that's how you rocking kicking on door. You all right? You When the sergeant arrived, the suspect tried to explain, claiming he had returned only to collect his belongings and that a McDonald's employee had threatened him with a gun. The sergeant clarified that the business had the right to refuse service, but the suspect maintained he hadn't intended to cause trouble. Sitting there smiling, bro. I swear for God, bro. So, I need you to do something about that. Listen, you and I are having a conversation. Forget about the other people that are behind. Your colleagues are like, "Sir, that's a problem." Sir, please let me figure out what's going on. Okay? Let me figure out where your stuff is. Forget my stuff at this point. Forget the stuff. I told Listen to me, forget the stuff at this point. I told them when they came here, the police the second time what I went, it's not me. I'm not the one. It's another guy. Whatever police came in here, I told them specifically what I was in there to get. If they would have said, "Look, you got to call the manager tomorrow, whatever the case." There was no leeway. I didn't know I cannot come back to retain my stuff. Yeah, but here's the thing. If somebody tells you to leave, whether it's a representative from a business, then you need to leave. They're telling you, "I don't want you coming back." But then you came back, so sit tight. Give me a minute. Ask her. Ask her. She pull it out of there. Okay. All right. I will move her information. No. Okay. All right. So that you don't have to repeat the story multiple times. Okay. I've already got it from Yeah. If you if you could just tell me what happened. Okay. He came first time. You did it with him the first time, right? or he denied arrest. Yeah. So he came back and the people was in here. Just I have one question. The first time that he that he was here and that the deputies were here at that point in time, did you tell him not to come back? Um he definitely couldn't be in here. Did you verbally tell him that he could not be here? Um not me. Okay. Did do you know of anybody? Guys, the manager was here before me, so I don't know what what Okay, no problem. Go ahead. So, he came he come back. I don't usually be locked, but we had um a customer wait my friend, my coworker ride outside and the door was open. I didn't know it was open. So, when he came in, they said, "You know, he don't supposed to be in here." And I said, "Yes." I then I told him he not supposed to be in here and he said he don't like and like push me like toward like towards me and I ran to the back. Mhm. So he went out I'm walking behind my car with the block door. He tried to come back inside and attack me. Okay. So like he he tried to attack you. How? What did he actually do? Like he just ran back inside. I just ran back to the house. Okay. So he was chasing you? Yes. Okay. Mhm. Did he at any point in time physically touch you? No. Did he present a weapon at you? Did you or anybody else that that is working now present a weapon? No. Was he gesturing he was going to fight? Yeah. Do you have ideas? No. He's in the back. Okay. What's your first name? Demetrius. You need to go clean. So when the when the deputies showed up the second time Mhm. was he inside the store at the time? He was outside. The man was charged with battery on an officer, possession of illegal substances, possession of cannabis less than 20 g, trespassing, resisting an officer with violence, and probation violation. When someone refuses to cooperate with the cops, it usually means they're hiding something. This woman already breaking the law and not giving an inch had the officer feeling something was off. But how long could she keep up the act? Not long before things got physical. On October 1st, 20123, a female driver ran a red light in Ohio. A patrol officer immediately initiated a traffic stop to check on her. The investigation became quite complicated when the woman wasn't very cooperative. As the officer tried to address their concerns, she just played games and tried to waste time. Hello. My partner's going to come up and talk to you. Oh my god. Ain't nobody coming to talk to me because nobody flew me over. I pulled into the driveway. It wasn't no lights behind me. Nobody's come to talk to me. Yeah. You are you? Nobody put their lights on or none of that though. my No, she no ran the red light. Stop banging on my window. Then put the window down. Yeah, I get that. But she ran the red light cutting a car off completely. Like almost causing an accident. Can you put the window down, ma'am? Put the window down. Is she going to put the window down? The reason we ran the red light right there. Yeah, it's it you ran the red light. We're not really sweating the red light in and of itself. That's why we That's why we pulled up on here to stop you. All right. Nobody pulled the lights off. But do you have your driver's license on you? I'm not. If it's just the red light, I'm telling you right now, we're not sweating this some red light thing. But if you like are going to identify yourself and you're making it difficult for this, this is a traffic stop and you make it more difficult, you make us think that maybe there's something else in the car, there's some other stuff going on. So, the way it works. But my thing is is that nobody initially stopped me until I sat in this driveway for seconds before y'all pulled up. Well, there's not there's not like a certain set time limit where we have to like, you know, just it's not like home base where you pull in here and you're you know, you're home free. You ran the red light and that's why we're stopping you right now. So, it is what it is. Excuse me. It is what it is. So, can you run the camera back and tell me that you're running the red light? No. Here's the deal. Ma'am, do you have your driver's license on you? If you don't cooperate, we're going to pull you out of the car, place you under arrest for obstructing. No matter how much the officer tried, she just wouldn't listen. Tired of the back and forth, the officer decided to detain her. But things didn't go smoothly. Calling 911. No. No. No. Get the Give me your hand. I'm calling 911 have to be This doesn't have to be all serious. Stop. Get on the ground. It's all good. It's all good resistance. I am not resisting. It's all good. It's all good. I am not resisting arrest. It's all good. I'm not resist. All I said just hang out back there. It's all good. You okay with this? You see what's going on, right? Yeah, but you don't have to be that aggressive. That's my employee. Officer, I think we don't know her. I'm not resisting. I'll talk to you. I am not resisting, officer. I have nothing on me. Too late. You You are resisting. I am not resisting. Get in the car. What did I do? No. Hold up. Get in the cruiser. Get in the supervisor. Help. I don't want to get in the cruiser. Now you're me handling me. I'm going to sue y'all. You will get You'll get super The man standing next to the vehicle tried to interfere, but the officer calmly took the time to explain the reasons behind his actions. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. You I'll How about I explain what what happened? Okay. Sure. I'm assuming that's why we were asking questions about it. Sure. I mean, I just It looks a little aggressive the way y'all went into her car. Yeah. So So we You saw us. I mean, you passed us first. You saw us. She ran a red light. I mean, it was red when you went through. It was like right at the change you went through. So, it was it was well red. She went through, car came, honked at her. I mean, it almost caused a t-bone. Okay. So, I got to turn around. I'm going the opposite direction. I got to turn around, come back. He runs a plate. That's why we pulled up and it took a little, you know, 2 seconds by the time she pulled up for us turn the lights. Okay. We talked her. I mean, you saw for 2 3 minutes asking ID. ID. She's still not giving it to us at that point. that we've asked her five, six, seven times, it it turns into obstruction. Okay. So, at that point, I ask her to get out of the car. She's like, "Nope, I'm calling the police." So, I I try handcuff her. She pulls her hand in. She pulls her hand in. I'm pulling her out. Okay. But, I mean, isn't it her right though to just like I mean, she's panicking. Like, there's a lot going on. Like, I mean, we we sat there for like five, six minutes trying to talk to her. All I need is ID. But like and I get it, but you got to understand like there's dynamics at play. Like she's alarmed. You know what I'm saying? At this point, I mean, I get, look, I get it, but we also when we do a conducted traffic stop, we we we have to get the stop done in a certain amount of time. You know, we stop her for a red light violation. We're we're sitting here playing. We can't just sit here and ask for ID, get told no. Ask her ID, get told no. Ask her ID, get told no. Ask for ID, get told no. Ask for ID. I mean, how long are we going to play that game? And we warned her. If she doesn't, she's going to get arrested for obstruction. We told her that. She still said no. So, at that point, she got placed under arrest for obstruction. Open the door. I grabbed her hand, put the handcuffs on. She I try to like just have her step out. She says no. Pulls her arm in. I feel her tense up. Pull it in. At that point, I'm not playing a game. It all transpired really aggressively. And I'm going to be completely honest. Uh I don't know that you're completely sober right now. You don't think I'm completely sober? I don't actually. Okay, we're going to have We're done with this conversation, my man. No, you can go over there. You're not involved in this traffic stop. Yeah, they're coming out. You can go stand over there. You're not involved in this traffic stop. It doesn't matter. This is a traffic stop right now, my man. Okay. And you what? Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm a man. You have no right to go to her car. Her Her car is getting towed. That's what's happening. Her car is getting towed. It's getting towed. We're doing a tow inventory. That is not your right. I'm telling you, you can go stand over there. You can go stand over there. You're going to get arrested for obstruction as well. It does. This is a traffic stop. You are bringing my attention off of doing this under you. Your own service. You can go stand by that car. Right. You can go stand by the car. You're going to get arrested. You want to get arrested for obstruction. Go stand by the car. As the officers continued with their work, the man kept asking questions. This time, the officer wasn't so nice in his response. This is a traffic stop. All right. Like I I appreciate I'm just I'm using the way that Yes. I mean, the signs and symptoms are apparent. I need you to stand up there. Okay. Say this is this is a traffic stop. Yes. But this is a traffic stop and I'm aware. You can't be coming up to the cruiser. I know. I just came to ask you a question if you are aware that he's using All right. Here's here's what's going to happen. We have a yes or no question. He's not using We have a supervisor coming here. All right. And I'm going to talk to supervisor. Okay. I see this all the time. I do this every day in bars. He's clearly using me. The way that you snatched her out of this car was completely inappropriate. And uh I've been completely civil about it. Yeah. But I know what looks like and he's inappropriate at this moment. And he does not have a right to go through her car. Even if it is being told, you don't have a right to go through it. She didn't give you any reason to believe there was anything in this car inappropriate. You don't have a right to search it. So, if you could please tell him to stop searching through her car. All right. The vehicle is being here's the vehicle is being towed. Right. But it's not your fault. Step over there. EMS is here. You need to go step over there. Yeah. Here. I'll I'll come I'll come over here real quick. All right. Look here. Steal. No. I'm going to talk to them. You don't want to hear what I have to say about it? I do actually. Okay. I need you to stand I need you to stay outside of the uh traffic stop. I'm just making it clear. Time out. Time out real quick. All right. Can I talk to you? Listen to me, dude. All right. Listen to me. I didn't. No. This is my traffic stop. And you keep you keep interfering with the traffic stop. You're going to get Yes, I do. Because you're interfering with the traffic stop. I can charge you with obstruction. I'm just giving you a warning to stay outside the traffic stop. You've been civil. I've been civil with you. I'm just telling you, if you keep approaching the cruiser, I can charge you with obstruction. The woman insisted on using the bathroom, but when the officer refused, she could not accept the response. She used excuses and her actions were completely unnecessary. So, can I pee outside or do you want to pee in your vehicle? Don't pee in the vehicle. It's going to be on you. You're going to be I got to pee. I don't have I can't go pee outside. So, let me just y'all pull me over on Mind you, call the supervisor. Yeah, they're on their way. I want his wife. But I'm not trying to step out of here and then y'all say I'm trying to resist arrest because that's why I'm in here when I never did though. I gotta pee. I pulled up to pee. You need here. You need I didn't use the bathroom. I got to go. I can't help you with the bathroom. What do you need EMS for? I need MS because they tackled me and put me in this car over nothing. EMS. I need EMS because I am distraught. I am That's not a reason for Nope. My physical body is upset after they put me in this car. No. Get back inside. Do you need them? Do you need a valid reason? I need to go to the hospital for what? Because the way that they took me into this house into this car, my shoulder is messed up. My back is messed up. I need an ambulance. Ambulance is right here. So, I need to be transported to the hospital. We can take it right off. No, I need to be transported to the hospital. You cannot deny my service. My rights is that you cannot deny my services. I need to go to the hospital. The way that they handcuffed me and took me in here. My shoulder is messed up. It might be dislocated. All that. I need to go to the hospital. I got asthma, PTSD, all that. So, y'all need to go to emergency. I need to go to the hospital. We'll check your vital. You cannot deny me of going to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. Stand up. Can you stand up? My rights is you cannot deny me from going to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. Well, we can check. We're just going to check you out real quick. Okay. Can we do that? Shoulders are not my I got bruises on my legs from the way they manhandled me into the car. Can we just check your vitals real quick? Like the cops. No, we have a supervisor coming to talk to you. I Yeah. No. So, I know my rights. You cannot do this until a supervisor gets here. You cannot. The supervisor arrived and spoke with both the man and woman as they complained about the officer's actions and their aggression. They were very aggressive with the way they ripped her out of that car. She was a little frantic. I will give him that. She was panicked. She's alarmed. Um but at no point did their use of force like warrant the situation. And he repeatedly sniffing. He's rubbing his nose. He's like I I know what he's really drunk and he's intoxicated. And the way they've handled her since this is transpired is completely unwarranted. How do you know her? She's my employee. Okay. Uh so I invited her over. Yes. I invited her over to come hang out tonight. Um she's going to come hang out with me. The bar is around the corner. We like maybe we'll go play some pool, whatever the case may be. Um, and so I told her to follow me home and we just go from there and uh, you know, we hit the corner, boom, lights come on. He's at her window asking her questions. She is talking to him, but she's also on the phone. Um, he's getting annoyed at this point. He's like, "Giving her a driver's license." Uh, I don't know what she said. Um but she did not agree. Um and then uh it just from there went to a like do this or else kind of situation and uh within probably a matter of 45 seconds. Uh he had ripped her out of the car, grabbed her by her wrist, forcibly removed her from the car. Uh he had almost like forced her to her face in the gravel, but like she readied herself, caught herself with her knees. Uh and that's when I leaned in. I said, "Gentlemen, like do you need to be this aggressive? It's not that serious." And they let up when they saw that I was calm, but I was paying attention. And yes, I was recording. And um Are you able to send that video to me? Yeah. All right, miss. I'm starting back. I'll be investigating that. Okay. Can I ask what happened to that? I know that I was driving. I pulled up in the driveway. When I pulled up in the driveway, they got behind me. When I pulled up in the driveway doing all this and all that, talking about I ran a light, nobody stopped me from the light. If you pull back, you will see that nobody stopped me originally at the light. It was when I pulled in this driveway. They surrounded me in this driveway. They get to coming to me and I'm like what the like hold on I'm just following him. I just came to use the bathroom and make sure he got here safe. Okay. They get that manhandling me pushing me into the car. I'm telling him I got to use the bathroom. Okay. I got to pee. I've said this several times. I got to pee. Were they Were they talking to you? So when they initially stopped Nobody when they initially stopped. I don't know what I got. So I the officer said I ran a light. Okay. or a stop sign. But if I run a stop sign, why did you not originally stop me at the stop sign before I pulled up here? Which stop sign they they stopped you for? No. Okay. Did they ask for anything else? No. Never asked for ID. Never asked me who car I was in. Never asked me none of that. They never asked me any of that. They never said none of that. Never ran my rights. Never did none of that though. I'm handcuffed with no right. You have any injuries at Do you have any injuries? I told them when they was here. Where you injured? Send me to the ambulance because my neck, my back. How did you hurt your neck and your back? The way they threw me in this car. I'm going to take I'm going to take a few photos here. Um, you said your neck hurts. Yeah, it hurts very much. My neck, my back, my arm hurts, all that because I'm suing the All right, I'm going to take a photo here. Any injuries anywhere else? My my leg. Hey, I can't pull it down, but I'm probably sure it might be a bruise on my leg or something. Don't want to grab here. Okay. After all that, when the officer decided to transport her to the station, she refused to accept the outcome. So, what did she do? She demanded another supervisor, but it wasn't going to work the second time. Okay. Why? We told you resisting over there. Okay. So, let me ask you. I'm not resisting. Hold on. I'm not doing none of that, though. I don't want you to think I'm doing that. You have two cuffs on. It's going to be very uncomfortable when you roll. Look, I ain't trying to resist. I ain't trying to do none of that, though. I ain't going to lie to you, though. I don't want no smoke. I'm trying to save your wrist. I'm trying to save your wrist right now. You got two cuffs. It's a very I want no smoke. But, can somebody please look at my phone so I can before I get You'll be able to get You'll be able to get the numbers in jail. It's not going to be like that. They're not going to answer jail. So, if you can I don't got to actually have the phone. Can you get in and dial the numbers? Well, the jail is going with you. I'm not I'm not Let me ask you a question before y'all put me back here. Do you have anything on you that I need to know about? No, I'm just gonna cut you down. Okay. Where's Where's your property at? It's on the front pass. Who is the supervisor? Sergeant Oko. Is he here? Yeah, you were just talking to him. And back as well. Before he gets here, I know my rights. So before I have to get back here, before you put me back here, I know my rights. So you can hold me, you can handcuff me, put check on me and all that, but I know my rights. Okay? So before you do all this, the supervisor is here. I need another person up ahead of him because I know my rights. I have an uncle that works for the feds. Okay? So I know that my right is is that whether it's one supervisor on scene, it should be two before I am actually direct supervisors. I didn't. Well, here's what's going on right now. So what's going on right now is you got to get in the patty wagon. All right. Sit right here before I sit right there with the doors open. You got to get in the patty wagon. I mean, I can sit right here. Can the doors be open? I mean, that's fine. Open the door, please.
