So, I can't go to jail right now. My mom just died late last week. Don't be stupid. Okay, I'm getting down. Please don't. That's That's because I wanted to save up money for a lawyer before I turned myself in. Hold on. I need I need Be careful now. Ceiling is not steady. Understood. I'll move away from you, guys. Hail to your stomach now. Roll to your stomach now. I'm working his arm back. I got his arm on his arm. Daniel, what happened? Stop. What happened? Meet this woman who might have forgotten about her active warrant, but the police didn't. Okay. You said you did time. I went to jail. Yes. Um I had two warrants. It was um resisting arrest and um failure to the failure to comply. on March 5th, 2024, when officers patrolling the area stopped a vehicle after noticing the woman driving had an active warrant. Can I Sorry. Can I step out to talk to you cuz the dog's going to freak out. Yeah, that's fine. Oh, is it in park? Yeah. Okay, just hang out right there for just a second. Okay, that's fine. Your driver's license, Macy. Yeah. Okay. You know you have a warrant right now, right? No, I didn't know that. Yeah, that's why I stopped you. I don't know exactly what it's for. It's out of our court though, but I recognize you. But I'm going to make sure and see what it's for. Okay. See what's going on. So, I can't go to jail right now. My mom just died like like a week last week and I just I'm sorry to sorry to hear that. Do you have the registration and insurance on the car as well? Um, it's at the house. It's not in in the car. Uhuh. I I was just looking for it. I don't think I think she kept it in her wallet. Your mom or? Yes. Okay. What would it be for? I just know that you had one. Um I had one I went to jail for that a while ago. Yeah. What was it for? Um it was for um uh resisting and um I did my time served and then um I've been Was it through our department from our Aztec? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Um that was back in September. Okay. So was it Did you ever go to court after for that? I know you went to jail. You said it was dismissed cuz well it wasn't dismissed but I did time served. So like I like everything was I did my time. I took care of that. Okay. Yeah. I mean if that's all it is, if it's just a misunderstanding, then you'll be good to go, right? So So yeah, I just got to check into a couple things, wait for a second for dispatch to get back to me and see. Okay. Thank you. By the way, did you guys notice anybody sketchier on those trailers earlier? Trailers whenever I was through the alley. That's what I was over there and then I happened to see you. No, I just stopped to pick them up. Oh, okay. There's supposedly some guy in like a white hoodie or something over there being sketchy, but wouldn't trick. Do you guys see anybody like that? No. So, they said there still is one active. Okay. So, let me figure some things out, but for the meantime, step outside with me, okay? I'm going have you come step over here in front of my Well, here in a minute. Just let me figure some stuff out. You said that you got it taken care of. So, I'm going to try to see what's going on there. Right. So, you said that you got it taken care of when? Yeah. In September. In September. Yeah. September. like when this most recent Sep Oh, it was like 22nd or something like that. Okay. You said you did time. I went to jail. Yes. Um I had two warrants. It was um resisting arrest and um failure to the failure to comply. And then one um cuz I didn't come to my court cuz I had been arrested the year prior. Um and uh so this one then would mean that it's because you didn't show up to court for this event. No, I did go to court for both of them when I was in jail and I got a notice of dismissal when I went to court. I got out of jail. I had two courts when I went to jail um the next morning and um one was um for the resisting arrest and that judge he gave me 5 days and um some fines which I made a couple payments on those. Um and then the other warrant was for um the other like the magistrate and the municipal the two different ones. one of them was there and um she um gave me another court date about a month or two out and I went to that and when I went to that she gave me a notice of dismissal like I didn't even I went and that's the one at the magistrate. Yeah. So yeah, this one's out of the municipal here. Yeah. No, that was the municipal. The lady have the notice of dismissal with you? Yeah, with me. No, this Yeah, it was like I mean I know exactly where it's at with the house, but Yeah, it would doesn't really help with that. You know what I mean? But so I mean it's telling me that she still had that warrant that is active right now. So it was the officer continued questioning the woman about her past legal issues. Meanwhile, she tried to outsmart the cops with a trick, but her plan quickly fell apart and it didn't go as she'd hoped. That would mean that you still didn't go to court for it even after that. I did go to court. I had and they did gave me a notice of dismissal and it was just for a improper display of registration. I just it was just traffic stop. That one. Okay. Well, I have to take care of this right now. Okay. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. Come here. Don't be stupid. No. Stop. No. No. Stop. Oh, no. Please don't. Please. I just lost my mom. Please. Don't be dumb. Come on. Please. Don't be stupid. Please. Please. Please, no. You guys sit tight. Don't move. My mom can't just take me one far back. No, not a chance. You're stupid. You learned from running the first time. Not very fast. We'll do this side. Let me switch out. Okay, I'm just going to close this. Okay. Yeah, thank you. I can't put your shoes on. Why'd you do that? You just made it so much harder for yourself. Because I'm telling you, my mom just died. Did you really think you were going to outrun both of us? No, I don't know what I'm thinking that my mom just died and I don't have a warrant. This is up. Well, any chance that you had to resolve that? I did resolve it. Separate your feet. I I don't have a warrant. I went to court for this. I went to court for it. If he's wrong, then he'll be wrong and we can figure it out. But right now, that's what we have. Okay, stop. Just relax. Okay. What? You got something in it, cleavage right here. What is it? It's a little container in your bra. Is there anything else on you? I don't think so. I mean, if the jail would have found that anyway, so you know what I'm saying? It's better to find it now than there. Okay. I'm just Okay. I I'm just Do you have anything else that we need to know about? No, I just need to call my dad and get away. There's nothing else. Cleavage, nothing like that. I don't have a warrant. I went to court. Well, if you didn't have a warrant, then why would you run? Why would you worry about it? Because I had that on me. Cuz you had this on you? Yeah. Okay. So then if I open it, what am I going to find? Pills. Okay. You familiar with your Miranda rights? You know what those are? You've heard of them. You've watched cops on TV. So it says you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can or will be used against you in the court of law. Do you understand each of these rights as I read them to you? Maisy, do you understand? A simple acknowledgement. You don't understand. Would you like me to reiterate that or are we going to just play dumb games and I can stop wasting my time? It's up to you. I don't care. Okay. Which one? Option A or option B? I guess I understand. Okay. So, would you like me to repeat them? No. Okay. So, you understand the rights? I explained them to you. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? About what? Well, I'm just to protect you and me. I can't say what until you tell me yes or no. Um, okay. Okay. You can exercise these rights at any time. You know that, right? Okay. Okay. So, what's in this pills? What kind of pills? Like some blues. Mhm. How many are we talking? Um um a day's worth. A day's worth? Yeah. which is Afterward, the cops searched the woman and found a small container with pills in her possession. With suspicion rising, they turned to her friend, hoping to dig up more about what might be hidden in the car. Last until tomorrow, the next day, but there probably about 20. Okay. Okay. Those ones? Yeah. 20 is a day's worth. Yeah. You have a high tolerance? Yeah. How many have you taken today? Um, or even smoke them. I could I could smoke 50 of them in a day if I had them, but I've been trying to ration them out and like you know um I didn't have any for a few days this last time and every time it gets easier. Mhm. So, um I was like, you know, pretty much weaned down and then I was down to like maybe 10 a day, but then it was going up again. like it just never stops going. Is there anything else in the car that I got to worry about that you're aware of in the car? Mhm. Just probably some just some like like a torch and like some foils or some tutor [ __ ] like that. Anything else that I need? There's no firearms. No got no weapons of mass destruction. Something crazy. I might have a couple pocket knives. Those aren't going to jump out and get me on their own. So, okay. Give me one second. You getting chilly? Yeah. Okay. Let me see if he'll let me put you in the back seat over here. Come on. Can I put her in the back seat? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I'll go grab it. Okay. I just can't do both at one time. Will you tell them to call my dad, please? We'll get there. I'm going to let him sort everything out. Okay. All right. Let me give her the cigarette. Yeah. All right. Thank you. All right. So, which one would be? Yep. You, buddy. Yeah. Cool. Obviously, you guys know she's going to jail. Okay. Who's dog? Is my dog? Our dog, but he's my dog. Your dog? Like yours and his? No, me and hers. Okay. Are y'all still the other or like or something? We're friends. Gotcha. Yeah, we're friends. We kind of co-parent dog. Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. Yeah. I just heard her say, "Babe," and I wasn't sure which one she was talking to, so I thought it was a dog. No, I'm just kidding. So, what's your guys' plan? um to bail her out. That's my next plan. I don't know. That's right. Well, um cuz we can only release the car to a registered owner and clearly obviously her mom passed and she's not, you know, for obvious reasons not able to. She would be the next to do that, but she's being arrested. I have to kill the vehicle. Okay. So, at that point, that's what's going on. Talking at her mom's trying to I I can't, man. I have to I have to take it. So, for our policy, that's what we have to do. But, um, she wanted you to call her dad, let him know what's going on. Yeah. And stuff like that. Um, what do you guys need out of the vehicle? Is what's yours? What's inside of the vehicle? What? Just my backpack. Just your backpack. Um, my dog. And that's about it. Whenever I first came out, she was handing you something. No, she was like, was it that torch or whatever in here? Oh yeah, there's no She was looking in here for the registration when you walked up and then she was closing this. No, right. But she had handed She said, "Here, babe." And handed you I think it was like the red thing. Is it just a torch right there? Oh, easy, buddy. Yeah, that's fine. Oh, got you. Yeah. Okay. So, is there anything that you're aware of in the vehicle that I need that shouldn't be in here according to my set of rules? No. She told me that there that there might be a little bit of other in the car. Yeah. I don't know, [Music] man. Okay. Here, just step out here for just a second, man. So, like I was telling him, she said that there was some in the car. Okay. Okay. Now, you sweating like crazy. You nervous or what? This is how I'm nervous. The cops asked the woman for permission to search her car. At first, she was reluctant, but later with confidence, she had no issue allowing the search. The officers then proceeded to examine her vehicle down where I just got in the car, so I don't know. Right. He just picked you guys up. Yeah. So, so here here's what I'm like I said, I was concerned that that there may be something in the back. Are you posed to me looking in it real quick? Opening up, peeking through it, giving it to you. Go ahead. You cool with that? Yeah. Okay. Would you mind just stepping up? Bro, are you like super nervous? Are you good, man? Are you like sweating something? No, I'm sorry. If you have like some simple nervous No, I apologize. I'm not trying. Well, cuz you made me nervous. You know, he he chills a cucumber over here. You know what I mean? So, yeah. I'm sorry. A lot more. Hey, you hiding some? I'm just kidding. You said I can look in the bag, though. Cool. All right. Okay. Well, you guys are good to go then. All right. Thank you. Have a good one. Yep. All right. Hey, uh, did you drop that, bro? Crumbled up. Yeah. Thank you. Or did he drop it? I don't have pockets in these pants. No. 20 bucks. 20 bucks, right? Yay. What's his real name? That's funny. Oh, it is. Yeah. Why is he tripping so much? He just doesn't want. Wow. Okay. So, you said it's just in the car. Where's that? Where's all that at? Um, in my bag and seat. In where? On the seat. On the on your seat. Okay. So, here's here's a couple options that I have. Okay. I mean, you tell me there's in there, I find, you know, the pills and stuff on you. Is there anything else in the vehicle at all other than that that I need to worry about? Not that I know of. Okay. Are you Can I have your permission to search it? No. My mom's got it all in there. What do you mean? Like I haven't cleaned it up. I'm I'm not taking anything with me unless it's illegal. That's all. I just just wouldn't wor. I don't know. Just Okay. So So here's why I'm asking. Okay. So, I'm going to explain it to you and then give you a second to think about it and then let you make a decision from there. Okay? So, just keep in mind I'm not trying to sway your uh your opinion or what you want to do. Either way, I'm just going to present you with all the facts and then you make a decision. Cool. Okay. So, right now, you tell me there, you know, you had had some you whatever, right? As far as that stuff goes, there's still in that car. Okay. So either I have permission from you to search the car, remove the and look for anything else that may be in there. You know, given this type of crime, they're usually associated with other things. I don't have enough time to go about that, and you could probably school me on it, honestly. Right. So, the other option would be is I can get a search warrant and apply for that. Now, what that means is that would be that um it gets impounded Sure. I'm sorry. You can search it. You sure? Like I said, I'm not trying to sway your position either way. I just need to know so that I know what I'm doing. Okay. I'm going to roll down this window. So, if you need anything, just yell at us. Okay. Okay. Can I have that one? Uh, yeah. Is it just like a little shaw or what? Yeah. Yeah. It's like a no pockets or anything that can um turn that cigarette. I got another one right here. here. And yeah, I'll just leave it up to her. She sits right here in your closet. Okay. Just don't go running nowhere in handcuffs. It's going to hurt real hard. Okay. So, just you can sit down right there for right now. I just don't want Yeah, that's fine. Here. I just don't want the cigarette smoke in my car. You're good, man. I got to do a couple things right here. I mean, if if you want to watch or whatever, you're fine. But could you do it from a distance? So we don't have to worry about your pup. No. Call your dad. Love you. Love you too. Okay. What all do you need to go with you? As the cops secured the woman in the cruiser. They rummaged through her bag and what they found was even more shocking than they expected. Yeah. Can you give him my keys? I'll take my phone. Give him the keys, please. Okay. You don't mess with no needles or anything, do you? I I have, but I think I cleaned I threw them all away. I just don't want to get stuck. I don't really care. Well, there might I I'm pretty sure I threw them all away. There's a chance. So, okay. Thank you. So, I got your wallet, your phones, and those car keys to give to the tow guy. Good. Is this other little one is this to the trunk? Yeah. Sorry, I can't hear you. The gas cap. Oh, the gas cap. Okay. Got you. Is there anything in the trunk that you need? No, I'm just There's a dirty laundry in the trunk. Okay. I don't know if this is hers or his, but there's some more dope in it. She said I could search it, but it was pressed underneath his seat. I don't. Yeah. But you're good. I mean, I uh I can wait for the 46 and stuff. So, they're probably almost here. The 46? Yeah. All right. Thanks. Okay. So, obviously, do do you recognize this? Um, that's Trevor's Trevor's. Okay. It was underneath his seat. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, anything that would be in here or isn't it would be Trevor's. Trevor's Okay. Is Trevor using Mhm. Yeah. Cool. Cuz he's I asked him to hold onto those for me in case I smoked all mine. In case you smoked all yours for when I smoked mine so I wouldn't get sick. Okay. So, were these his? They're his You said this is his bag and I've got other stuff. It's his bag, but I Okay. And then this thing was by itself. Whose is this? I don't know. I've never seen I don't know what that is. No. Never seen that one. It's kind of a pain in the ass. But maybe if I open it the right way. Got some shards. Little bit magnet. Just a cut plate. So enough for a shot. Maybe. Do you mess with that? Just the loose sometimes, but mostly it's loose. Most loose. You smoke it or you shoot it or if you're doing if you're doing I shoot it, but I haven't been able to. So, like Sorry. One more time. The car is fast. I shoot it, but I haven't been able to hit myself for a couple weeks. So, I just gave up. I'm trying to let your stuff recover and stuff. Got you. I really don't cuz that one's loaded. Quite the shot, I guess, depending on how much you mixed with it, but okay. I appreciate you being honest with me. So, yeah, it's just going to go to this Bloomfield Towing. Okay. And so, we won't I don't have any reason to keep a hold on it now. So, okay. All right. Let's get out. Let's try it this way. You ever been here before? Yeah. Yeah. The woman was charged with failure to comply with a warrant. Meet Jennifer, who already had a warrant out for her arrest. As the cops arrived, she tried to flee in an unexpected way, only making things worse and adding more charges to her record. They're like kind of worried because the set me up at the sober living room. I've been clean. I've been staying clean even after all this. I haven't used. I've been doing so good. It wasn't advised. We'll have her in custody. On July 31st, 2024, officers were called about a woman with an arrest warrant. They rushed to the location to address the situation. The police approached Jennifer to speak with her, but she made a daring move to escape. After being detained, she continued apologizing and insisted that she wasn't a bad person. How are you? I'm officer, sir. Is your camera off? What's that? Is this camera off? Uh, no. It's still on. So, why? What's up? Nothing. No. No. No. No. No. Stop. Police. You better stop now cuz you're not going to get away. You've already lost the shoe. Give it up. Okay. I'm getting down. Please. I'm getting down. All right. Can you Well, baby, everybody, baby, please. There we are. All right, we're going over a warning. Well, now you'll have additional charges. That's because I wanted to save up money for a lawyer before I turned myself in. Too bad. Okay. Well, we had to run, so it's additional charges. So, come on. Get up. We'll get him. You don't have to be mean. Well, you didn't have to run either. You're right. I'm sorry. So, let's be adults here. I'm trying. I'm scared. Of what? Can he as my boyfriend, can you at least come say goodbye to me, please? Nope. We are past that. Why? Baby, please. We're going past it. Babe, you want to be an adult and sit there? I do. Please. I Please, please. I really want to be an adult. I just want to say goodbye, please. No, we're past that. Please. Please give me Nope. Nope. Baby, I love you. Please get a hold of Rston. Please. I promise I will. I promise I'll be good. Please. Okay. Do you have anything on you? No, sir. You have your phone that you dropped in your tattoos. [Music] Here we go. Take it. Hold on. I need I need him out of here. Yeah, I'm going to talk to [Music] Please, babe. I'm not not a bad person. Okay. I really I know. I ran. I picked For what? For what? Because you're scared of a warrant. Yes. That's a terrible reason. Guess what? Guess what? Now you're on more charges. Mentally Mentally. I can't. You looked out the back door and you saw me and you looked at me and you just stopped. put the other one. I couldn't scared. I know I'm wrong and I won't fight it, but I just don't want you to think that I'm this criminal piece of [ __ ] out here. I promise. If you'd have just stayed in the house and let us get to you from there, we would let you say bye to all that stuff. You know what? You want to run? You want to make us chase you? I know. I understand that and I respect that. Jennifer soon realized what she had done and expressed fear of what was to come. The cops then took her to the station to complete further legal processing. literally kind of worry because the set me up at the sober living room. I've been clean. I've been staying clean even after all this. I haven't used. I've been doing so. It wasn't advised. We'll have her in custody break. We'll have local charges later. Are we going to Am I going to be able to get it transferred here? Can you please help me get it transferred here, please? In the car. Let's go, Jennifer. I love you. Yes, sir. I'm sorry. Come around. I love you. Please call me as soon as I get there or when I'm booked in or whatever. Please. I love you. So, remember when I told you if you just relax for 5 seconds and let me do my job, we figured some stuff out. Well, guess what? Officer said, I'm not your boyfriend's phone number. So, when he comes downstairs from getting your paperwork from clients, we'll get that to you. Turn it off for now. I really put your hand up on your head for me. Put the hand on your head for me, too. Take a big deep breath. You can relax your arms. It's easier to breathe when you have your arms. It helps you. So, literally, this is why my anxiety is so bad is because of him. America, I found him and everything. Like, he's got all these people that he knows that I can like that's why I told him about Rosson because he was telling me that he would be able to like probably like get me to talk with him. He has a really good lawyer that would help because I got so screwed and the finance of county is so corrupt and almost every almost everybody on Cber Cross knows about it and I am not mentally capable for jail much less prison. Well then you should probably make better decisions when it comes to dealing with this kind of stuff. Yes, I know. That's why because if your goes up can I I'm sorry. If your warrants are for probation violations because Can I Can I finish? Sorry. Yes. Your probation officer is probably not going to be real happy with the fact that you ran from us, right? Oh, no. Yeah, that's probably I'm trying to get things switched here. Well, that's I mean they might or you're going to end up on probation in both ways because what he told me is that what might be able to happen is if I talk to the judge and ask him since you guys picked me up here and I was picked up here if he can have the case. Well, so here's the and I'm just really praying for that because at least I will get a fair case of fair. So here's where you're going to be. So you have warrants through Defiance County. You are going to go to Defiance County. I don't know if that's going to be with me tonight or if you're going to have to sit at our jail tonight and they'll come get you tomorrow. We're going to wait to figure that out here. We got some paperwork we got to go over before that can even happen. Um [Music] the next part of it. So So how would I even get Can I finish? Okay. Like you literally haven't let me speak at all. Every time I try to talk and explain stuff to you, you interrupt me to to complain about the same thing that we've already complained about 15 times, and I've already tried to explain it to you. Okay? So, let's just take a big deep breath. All right? So, no matter what, you're going to have to go to Defiance County. Again, I don't know if that's tonight or tomorrow. That's going to be up to Defiance County. Before we get to there, we have a paper that you and I are going to have to go over, but we'll The officers offered Jennifer the option to sign a waiver to avoid a hearing, which would delay her case. However, she chose not to sign it. deciding instead to wait. You're also going to have charges here. So those charges you will have with the judge here. But whether they move your probation stuff from Defiance County to here, that's going to be up to them. I don't know if they will or not. I'm assuming now that your probation officer is going to be pretty pissed off. Maybe he'll want maybe he'll want to transfer just cuz or she cuz she doesn't want to deal with you anymore and she rather have someone here do it. I don't I mean that's going to be up to them. But at the end of the day, that's not my decision to make. Um, is there any way that like you guys can do like a a logged like drug test for me or something so they can at least be proven? I am not doing a drug test on you. That's not my job. Cuz I just want them to know like no matter what, even though I [ __ ] up and ran, I'm not using anymore. Whether you get one done by your PO whenever you get to Defiance County tonight or tomorrow, whatever's in your system today probably going to be there tomorrow. Only thing on my system. So So and then I mean I don't really care too much about that. Yeah. I'm sorry. Do they want to meet or do they deserve to hear that? Oh, thank you. I do appreciate it. Is rather hot out. Thanks for making it a joke. So, but um yeah, so what they're wanting to do is uh send like have her sign rule four, then they'll fax over pickups or whatever. So, they've got the we got the order and everything. Yep. I was getting ready to go over the rule four. Yeah. So, it sounds like it has tonight. I They may take it tonight or it might be tomorrow, but it sounds like they want her help. Um we're faxing all the stuff over there. So I put her in on their warrant to jail and then if we want to do hard charges too or just bust those. But how many do I have with you guys? Just one. Yeah, just a lot of destruction. So is that a felony? No. No. Still a charge no matter what. It is. It's one that probably could have been avoided. Yeah. Okay. So, here is what I need from you. Because Defiance County is on a county that reporters Hancock County, you would have to you are subject to what they call criminal rule four, which is it has to do with extradition for charges that don't occur within Hancock County or an adjacent county to Hancock. Um, so sorry. So, this form here is the rule four waiver. Um, so what that is is that if you sign this, it's saying that you don't want to have a hearing here in Hancock County for a judge here to deem whether or not you need to be extradited to Defiance County to have to deal with your warrant stuff. If you don't sign this, you sit here until they have a until they can schedule a hearing here for you to ultimately most likely sign it. So you want to sit here? I would rather sit here. Okay. Well, then this is just going to delay your process. I'm just It'll give me a little extra time for JJ to figure some things out. That's what I need. Okay, that's And honestly, it's triggering me going back to Striker. So, and I'm close here at this moment. This would be the better option cuz JJ can get settled and talk to the lawyer here. Do you want to go tell boss? That's not too much. That's not you guys. It's your decision. It's your decision. No, it doesn't hurt. Like, we just This is This is what we have to do. It's either you sign it or you don't. And if you don't, then you sit here. Most people are like, "Yeah, I'm gonna sign it because I want to get here and I want to be done with all this stuff. That way I can be back at my actual house." But does that mean like hear or like go You're g This is not a This is not a jail. This is the Finley Police Department. We use the Hancock County Justice Center, which is a part of the sheriff's office. That's where you're going to sit as well, right? No, I knew that. I knew that. I just didn't I thought I didn't know what I'm not from here. So, sorry. Yeah. No, I'll just go to Finley or Fin the the jail. Sorry. Okay. That's all it is. Not a big deal. It's just raining, so you got to stay back. You got your license with you? You stay in Alabama or you stay over here? Okay. Did you have your ID on you by chance? You don't have it? What's your name? Huh? What's your last name? Huh? I'm just asking. I'm out with you guys. You got the registration insurance. Pull in this parking lot so we don't get hit by a car. You can look it up on your phone and I'll check back with you in a second. Okay. You good? Uh, I had a little piece of paper. It was a all state car, but back here for me. I don't like you jumping out. Are you got any weapons on you? Face that way. Can I pass you down real quick? Huh? You ain't got no weapons on you. Come back here. Take your hands out of your pocket for me. What's going on? You've been requested to get out of the vehicle. That's what's going on. I don't know what happened. Nobody tell me what happened or why. It'll be explained to you in just a few. What's her last name? She's going to get it or she going to go to jail. You don't even know who it is. That makes sense. Well, this is going to go about I'm going to make it as easy on y'all as it is. You know, y'all make it on me. So, you make it difficult on me, I promise you, I'm going to help you out. I'm fixing to You have any ID on you at all? Okay. What's your last name? Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to explain it to you once and uh you refuse at that point, then you're going to go to jail. Okay. It doesn't matter to me. What's your last name? [Music] What's your first name? I don't know there's my show your ass. The cop demanded Kayla's ID, but instead of complying, she reacted in a way that made things tougher. She denied any knowledge of her warrant and began arguing with the officers, which only made the situation more tense. Nope. Not until you stop. I'm all right. Yeah, that's not really the point. But you want to stop. Are you done running your mouth? Cuz I'm done listening. Stop. Please stop. Have you ever been searched by female law enforcement before? No. Okay. I'm just [ __ ] I'm just confused. I'm just confused. Well, I'm confused, too, because when my partner over here is asking you for information and you all of a sudden you start tensing up, pulling away from him, then we going to take that as a listen. He told me Oh, 39. Oh, so you have a warrant. What's 39? You have a warrant for what? I don't know. We about to find out. That's why I went to put hands on you and you decided you were going to act a fool and you got I don't have to. No, I do not. You're being arrest. I don't know what your warrant is for, but you had a warrant. Yes, I did. And I did. I lawfully can. Yep. We lawfully can detain you until we figure out what the warrant is for. So now you going to catch probably another charge for obstruction. Obstruction. Look at that. We're just conduct. I don't know. You tell me. I don't know what I don't know. I don't either. Why? Because we had to go hands on with you. I didn't know what the [ __ ] was going on. Doesn't matter though. You let us do our job and then you don't end up face down on the ground. Well, I don't know what I'm being arrested for. I didn't even know that I had a warrant or nothing. Well, okay. So, you do. So until you know what's going on because you know these handcuffs go on just as easy as they come off. Yes. So she has no idea what that warrant is. No I have no idea why I know I don't even know what that like I don't even know that car is a simple I don't even know how warrant all that. Well you well I didn't even know that's I don't ever get in trouble cuz it's like I never get in trouble with nothing. So like this is my first thing ever getting like I guess you did it right. I'm in college. I'm in college, so like I don't know. How old are you? I'm 19. Okay. Well, I mean, you got to go to jail now. Even if you didn't have a warrant, you still can't. Why? What do you mean? Why? Why? I don't. Cuz you you can't resist. But I didn't know. Police. But yeah, if he tells you to turn around, put your hands behind your back, we can detain you just on a plane smelling. Hey, just lean up against it. Okay. November. November. Yeah. Some two months. As the officer explained to Kayla that her charges could lead to probation or more legal trouble. She became increasingly confused and frustrated, struggling to grasp what was happening. Go for that though. I don't know, dear. I wasn't there. I heard about it, but I wasn't there. What's going to happen? Like I'm going to sit in jail for It's probably a It's a second degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct. You have another misdemeanor now for what? Obstruction. So I'll probably get probation or some [ __ ] You would probably get probation for something like that. What happened? You're going to jail now and then you'll have a bond for you should have a bond for both of them. And once you bond out, then you're good to go. But what if I can't bond out? Like I don't have money. You can hire a bondsman for 25%. But it's a minimum of 100 bucks, isn't it? But I don't have my people's number. Like give your We'll give you your phone. You'll get Yeah, I think you'll get your phone. You'll get contacts. Yeah, cuz like Okay. Yeah. My Wi-Fi. Is that your phone on the hood? That was the one that Yeah. Okay. All right. What is the definition of you're irrational? Irrational would be acting different than someone would be expected to. Uh, and what's your expected? This wanted criminal, Denny Wilson, has been arrested over 20 times in the last 8 years. But this time, things took a wild turn. Go under now. Go home now. On July 27th, 2024, Ohio officers tracked him to an abandoned house, but he refused to surrender. Sensing danger, the cops took extra precautions before entering. Noticing signs of movement, they suspected Denny was hiding in the ceiling, escalating the risk even further. Got out, saw pretty large fire. Right over there. Okay. We don't had a green bass black male. Uh they think he's on some kind of drugs. He was throwing a lot of stuff down. He's going to be upstairs. All right. I need you guys in the attic. I think he's upstairs. The cops tried to reach Denny in the ceiling, preparing to use more aggressive methods to force him out. When they found him, they deployed a taser to subdue him, but his response grew more violent. Down from the attic or we're going to start peppering. You just going to send some? Yeah. For a second. As you can see, Denny completely lost control, making him difficult for the cops to handle. The officers then began searching for ways to extract him from the attic. Give it up now. Use your hand now. Go to the front. Go to the front. [Music] This attic is uh not steady. He's just fighting with us. He's on fire. We're going to need a medic as well. Give me your hand now. Now. Are you guys transporting him or just taking him up on you want? No, I just to take him out to take the fronts out. It's up to him. Okay. Do you want to go to the hospital? Yes, I want to go to the hospital. I want to see where you go. We had some res. So you already had the proper? Yeah, it looks like it fell out because we didn't check it out. There was nothing but nothing. Okay, so you want to go down? Okay, we'll take you to the hospital. Step up. Are you guys good? Go ahead. Man, don't sit back in the back, bro. I had to. I had to, man. Come on, bro. I told you. Look at my skill, bro. I can do this. Listen. Listen. I'll explain you how to do it. Okay. Come on, man. You got this, bro. Okay. Look at me. Look at me. I don't know what to talk about, man. That's crazy. The man was charged with possession with intent to sell within 1,000 ft of a school and resisting arrest. While this man was a dangerous criminal involved in drug sales, the next woman's case was different. She wasn't involved in such crimes, but had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. On October 9th, 2024, police in Fort Walton pulled over a car for driving with a suspended license. The driver, Brandy, had a warrant for trespassing charges. When questioned, she explained she was helping someone with a bond situation and seemed confused about the whole mess. Who's he? Um, John. He's the one he's been y'all been talking to, right? I haven't been talking to nobody. Yeah, we're not we're not going nowhere right now. Okay. That's good. the people y'all been talking since um John Mhm. What's John's last name? Um Mount. Okay. But yeah, he's got the bond going part or something. So he wanted me to help him out. He's like, "Please, you know, if you don't, she's going to kill herself out here." I mean, she just got out and she So, y'all are Oh, no. No. That's why if her mom rides down the street and sees the thing she's there, she's just further down that way. She's right there. So, you see where? Yeah. Do you see where this big tree is right here? Yeah. That's one little house, right? Soon as you pass up that tree, there's going to be an open little driveway and it's like a four little plex. It's all one bedroom with a little bathroom to together efficiencies or whatever right on the other opposite side of that. You got to go in front door. But I'm like, I feel so bad doing that to her. He's like, well, I got the bond supposedly. He's got the bond for her. And um is she in trouble? I don't think I don't think she's in jail right now. She's not in trouble. No, but she she's running from the bond. From the bondsman. That's what he said. All I'm supposed to be doing is finding out the new address right now. Do you have a driver's license? So, who is the one who's been talking to the whole time on the phone? You really don't know. It's not me. It was like his friend or something like I was just sitting over there and I saw you staring at me. So I thought I thought you wanted to say Okay. No, no, no. His cousin and her girls and his cousin's wife or something. That's his niece and nephew that work out here for a blue. That's who he's been. And then they just called him cuz I heard the phone and said we have standby standing on the street. Who's he talking to? You don't know? I don't believe it's the county. Um um what's the big guy call him an ass? The sheriff sheriff someone else. Like it's um sergeant maybe or something. I don't know something. What is this thing? That's a very interesting parking job, by the way. He's like, "That's them. Pull right here. Pull right here cuz that's them. Now go find out the address." And I'm like, "They probably know the address." He's like, "No, you need to go find out the address. You need to know the numbers on the address." Whatever. stood up. So, what was this whole um order that you were talking about before I went and talked to him? So, the thing was he said that he's been on the phone. Brandy further explained the backstory of her situation to the cops, but the officers remained skeptical, unsure of what to make of her story. His wife or whatever telling the deputies, right? So, who are you going to use? That's interesting. Um, hey, you don't have nowhere to go. I'm homeless. Um, do you know anywhere can I stay with you? No, you cannot stay with me. I see my mother. My mother's a doctor. We live in Well, no. She lives in Wilson. I said, "No, there's no way." Um, I said I might know somebody. Let me get in touch with this girl that I've heard of. this girl, Jesse, is her name Jesse Fry. Fry's last name. That's his friend. So anyways, I said, "Hey, your friend that helped me help this girl." This was um a month and a half ago maybe. Um he says that she went over there and uh stayed there for had a house for just got out of jail, stayed over there for a day or two and um took the house. She's been in there for a month. She convinces him. This is what I found out cuz she got yesterday. She convinces him to come bond her out. Bond is $4,000. Uh he puts up $400. She calls him and says, "No, I'm not um telling you where I'm not. I'm at." And uh he said, "Well, I'm going to have to pay you." And she's like, "Oh, well, it doesn't matter. It's okay to get home." So I said, "Listen, this is what this she's going to do that, you know, but this is all I will do. I will go to the door and I'll read the rest. Cheers." He's like, "Oh, I said money thing. It's your mistake." I told him, "It's your mistake. You went around. Her grandma told you not to and everything you did." I said, "But you know what? I'll go get the address over there. I don't even know if she's there. So, I was like, "No, I don't know who she is. She don't think she is." I said, "Um, and I'll go." So, Ryan was like, "Go get the number." I said, "Well, the cops are right there. Didn't you say that there? They know where it's at." And he's like, "No, they need the number right now. You need to go." That's why I'm like, "So, do you know where it's at?" The house. Yeah. Yeah. I was just telling him is it that first one right there at the corner? I told him, "You see this big old shoe right here? So this big old tree is going to have a little ways back into here like a trailer. Right on the other side is going to be like a dirt rope kind of fence and you can go back and there's going to be dark. She's the one right in front. Four of them going through. She's the one right in front of Spider. This is for your mother with a boyfriend's boyfriend or something with his old guy. Yeah. Yeah. An 18-year-old child that just made 18. Yeah. Yeah. and her mother. This is It's just disgusting. Well, I can agree with that with you. So, back here, you're going to see a big spider. You're going to know it's house. You're going to see a table sitting right in front of it with two chairs. Is there a vehicle in that one? Um the mother's red vehicle is I don't see if it's there right now. We just pulled up, but it's um red. Okay. It's a hybrid and you'll see it. It's a darker familiar cuz she used to live off behind the top of my race. Meanwhile, Brandy admitted to her past trespassing charge and the outstanding warrant making it even harder for her to escape the legal consequences. [Music] It is just helping. Okay. But you know you have one. Yes. I'm going to go and take care of it. It's just [ __ ] damn [ __ ] I don't know. I trespassing please. I got work some license. Just asking. He got a lot of I already know. I know you. So why are we doing I was just trying to help him because this Oh, I didn't want to help him out at all. I'm at my mom's. Everything was good. He Where's your mom's at? And when So, I was over there. We were having a good cold dinner. My aunt's visiting from town and he calls me. And I said, "No, no, no. I'm not going." He says, "Listen to me. If you don't do this, that girl's going to die out here in the street. This is what you can tell." And I said, "How do you know? They said they had four things in her." And I said, "When?" He said, "I just found out." I was like, "Oh my god." I said, "So, she's doing drugs, having drugs like that again automatically." currently on the record says I found my daughter. No order this family until I live. So you want him to keep yourself? I'm cool with that. As long as as long as you're being completely honest with me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You can use just go buy a damn pack and smoke. Does he have one? Does he have a damn weed [ __ ] box? Please, just I'm just call please. I'm hold and then I'll call my mom and that's it. Let her know what's happening over there. God, I can't believe this. I'm going for 45 days. Huh? Just going to You should go to court. I miss Hey, I thought and this is to be completely honest. I had a failure trip here before and it was so stupid getting into the argument with the girl at um circle cuz I worked at right there you know got in the argument she calls and gives me trespass whatever that's like 3 days 4 days later I have a warn out for trespassing I just got to be on never been reported in like how is that even possible you know what I'm saying my First one, it was a $500 bond that I had to pay. But this one that I never showed back on the store was a $1,000. I was signing sold out. So, I don't know what was up with that. But at the same time, so I'm looking at the court date when they mailed it to me. It said September 18th. Well, I didn't know. I thought they were saying same thing. They were going to be at the same I was two different 45 minutes left. So, basically where we're at right now is we can't let you go in and buy cigarettes and smoke your cigarettes cuz that's Can I ask him to buy shorts? Cool shorts. Mhm. Please. Thank you. Can I use on the phone? Eventually, Brandy mentioned personal issues, including finding out her husband had cheated on her and opened up about her life situation while in custody. This is a like like it's already been the worst day for me. I'm like, let me try to be nice to him. Like, I know, but you understand. Just find out my husband like cheated on me like I can't. Well, you you know where we're coming from. We don't have a choice in this. No, I know. It's not your fault. It's not your fault. But he gave my name, huh? No, I'm familiar with you. I've seen your name around. How? I don't even get in trouble like that. I know you. I know. You know me. I don't get in trouble and I'm never in trouble. We So, we got a list of everybody's names who has active warrants. So, your name is on that list. Can I use your phone? Here. Here. Here. Just take this with you. All right. You want to turn and face that hole. Okay. Just put your hands behind you back. We're just We're going to go ahead and have a seat again. Just right here. Misdemeanor one, isn't it? For the convenience store. It's a trespass. Yeah, it's a misdemeanor. 342 once I go to court about a separate warrant service, same location at the female 15. Okay, you got to go. You got to do it. Once I go to court, like if the whole bond's paid to the jail, they get it back, right? Once I show up in court, if it's a I don't believe so. So, the way bonds work is like not dealing with a bond. You just pay the jail. I have no idea. Honestly, I know if you pay the bonds, you don't get it back. But if you pay the jail, like pay the jail directly like 1,500 bucks cash. Yes. I've never seen that done before. So, what if somebody just paid directly? Yeah. Most of the time we get a bondsman or if they if they pay with cash, uh we usually don't return the cash after they show up for court the second time. They don't cuz I know we cuz I know we have a a fee for the sheriff's office whenever we bond people out and then there's court fees and then the booking fee at the jail and all that stuff. said out of a $500 bond um with your court cost, you would get only back 375 and the 125 would go to the court. Yeah. I have no idea you got to take out that up with the with the courthouse and all that stuff cuz that's out of my room. You can help me with the No, my mom is calm. Is this your mom? That's my ex. Do not answer. Yeah, I heard. Yes. And he cheated on me and I just found out that today. Like I I'm done. I I want a divorce. I want a divorce and I'm done. And this is the best stuff. Well, maybe it's a good thing. So, you got nothing left in your pockets, right? I watched you basically empty all of it. So, you got anything on you that's going to get you in trouble? No. Everything else in there you want to hold on to for the time being? You already made aware. You know who this is. I think that was her slipper that fell out of the bag. Oh my god. Did she steal it from somebody else? I don't know. I mean, I've seen her with that before, but I mean I don't know. I think I'm pretty sure how many people have them. She had it. They spilled out her stuff. That's definitely not mine. You can test me for sure. I don't know. I mean, if we need to, we will, but yeah. No, definitely test the police. Test the fingerprint for sure. It's not mine. Definitely not yours. Oh, 100%. So, we're going to take it. We're going to see if there's evidence. Just Brandy was issued a few hundred in fines for trespassing, failure to appear in court, and driving with a suspended license. Thanks for watching.
