game dive in to uncover the story behind her unusual defense so do you have a attitude with me or are you good cuz you asked me questions but it looks like you got a attitude on March 25th 2024 deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office responded to the Walmart after receiving a call about a shop lifter when approached the woman confessed that she had taken a cart full of items and placed it in a random vehicle without paying but she also mentioned that she was playing a game and that the theft was part of it we're doing an investigation right now apparently somebody walked out with a car put it in a random car yeah yeah that was me okay would you come over by the car with us whose car is it what do you mean whose car is it I don't know me neither okay all right so where's all your stuff you took out of the store and I just put I put it in a random car that was open in a random car that was open for what what do you mean for what because y'all y'all was coming okay so you just put all the stuff in a random car you didn't know yeah it's a game I was playing okay yeah what for um just for it okay you got any ID on you no all right I left it in the car which car the random car I don't know what car it was what color was it um silver silver gray something like that so you left your ID in some random car yeah my whole bag oh my all right makes sense what kind of bag do you have um what kind of I think it's said Michael can you please stand behind me cuz you makes me nervous I the whole time you were yeah he's in the car well I be what was your question what you have no idea what kind of car you no because y'all were coming and I just ran up to the car and put on it's a game that we play It's called 21 it's basically you go and steal all the steal and then you get out without getting caught well I did it one other time than this time but I got Clau this time so now I got to figure out where my purse is and where my merchandise is because now I got to give all my merchandise back to Walmart well it's not really a game it is a it's to you that's St it's fun too it's really fun oh going to jail is fun okay well I suppose am I going to jail well weren't convicted so so they let me go well it's a felony I don't know what they're do oh the woman was charged with shoplifting and possession of an illegal substance and drug paraphernalia found in the vehicle items kept disappearing even though no customers were around now see how the manager pointed out this employee and let's find out what happened next I pat you down turn around for me you might have a on July 10th 2024 the officers responded to an Auto Zone in Florida where an employee had been stealing oil and alternators for several months the police spoke with the store manager who mentioned that the suspect was on a lunch break but would return soon while they waited the manager explained what had been happening so we got a report statement someone aditt to yeah so we did an interview mhm uh do written statements okay just they just called him back he should be back in okay so this is all just like your questioning and everything yes sir yeah these are items that he confirmed mhm um that he actually came out and voluntarily scaned confirm me that that's what he took he's here now he's on lunch they sent him to lunch so they call him back he should be coming back any minute now $100 but that's Time 4 Time 4 yeah what was the total 986 and these are the questions you asked him yes sir that's actually the last page oh they double-sided so turn the whole stack didn't so he didn't gave her the parts no that one left that was his first time and U so short um and then after a short wait the suspect arrived the cop promptly searched him and took him to a meeting room for questioning hey what up man hey where going to that back hey you guys know where that back room is you guys back you guys don't have like a break room or anything I pat you down yeah withdrawals so the alterate was to pay for the medication for this month the next month um other than that the oil was all just for bills it was 20 30 you know how much like how many things of oil did you take D um he has his sheets it was six six six I believe maybe were they the like the big ones like those cases yeah it was the five G or the the single gallon five ones oh okay but yeah they they're between 30 40 bucks each which I told that that to that was the all just for bills mhm so I I open m told that to them and you're a bad guys is my first time meeting you know you said you went complete the investigation all right so did you sign and date the item history reports confirming these are items that you've taken from the store without paying totally $986 yeah so I he had me go through scan the things that I had taken and print them out so on those it's signed in date okay so the total was 986 yeah he had them all up does that sound about right yeah okay so this how long was this going on so the first thing was October I didn't do it again until I wanted to say out January February that's a lot of oil oh no not oil all that whole time it was different parts and like that yeah so the first one was the cor pack that was the $300 something one that was that was in October nothing nothing until about January and then January to want to say March April I was I would take oil but it was not like every single week it would be like every other week it was per asked is there anything you could return to the store like anything still in packaging or is it all gone no I I said you have nothing to do with her how many times of her said stay away on May 29th 2024 the officer responded to a call about Madison row bom at Walmart where she was caught hiding stolen items in an empty stroller at the loss prevention center the cop talked to Madison and read her rights then the store employee decided to press charges against her but not the juvenile how's it going so no ID Nei she has she has something but it's not sorry that's okay so the total you have was to give you a grand I got two receipts 14870 combined um the stuff on the left she said this is her sister don't know there's no idea and she doesn't want to talk and then this one here she gave me the false information first her name but since told me the truth her name is Madison and that stuff she concealed so all together they concealed around the J in the stroller and hosted out the GM Door nice how old are you 14 all right you both have the right to remain silent anything you say or do can be used against you in court you have the right to consult with and have President attorney before during and after questioning if you decide to speak with me about the accident you can stop at any time you go to jail for that because of Walmart's policy their policy is to not prosecute juveniles um because we were all young and dumb ones we've all made mistakes we've all done good stuff all right so you're not going to be charged permanently today all right um what I will tell you is hanging out with people like that is g to your life up and and yeah I get it I understand and and maybe she's a good person at heart so I'm I'm not I'm not saying that she's a bad criminal person but from my perspective she's rolling around in a store with two juveniles a toddler and you you're almost an adult but not quite um couple more years and whatever you guys do who's responsible for that she is because she's an adult okay so yes you did wrong but also it's on an adults on it's an adult's responsibility to make sure that you do right okay you're not going to jail and you're not going to be criminally charged don't thank me for that thank Walmart okay because my job is to prosecute people who um that well it's also to prosecute you prose juveniles but only when the party that's the injured party which would be Walmart in this case wants something to be done so if Walmart said we want to prosecute the juvenile I'd be prosecuting okay or I'd be writing a report on it and you know giving you a court date and that sort of thing for her case um she stole quite a bit of money um or of items that are worth quite a bit of money 150 bucks um and the aggravating factor is that you're a juvenile and the little On's a juvenile in her presence po parenting so maybe you have kids someday don't make those same decisions so you know what you do now can have a drastic impact on your life saying something yeah so you're you're you're getting off pretty easily here okay but you know you just because you're not an adult doesn't mean you can't be held accountable you still can go to jail you still can be arrested okay you got to I don't want to preach at you I'm not your
