hey trendys trendsetters and my trendy tribe so big warning um big trigger warning this subject covers unaliving and some other words I'll have to put them on the screen so please do not watch this if you're in a vulnerable place um protect your mental health your mental state and well-being so this is about private first class Denisha Montgomery so last year her unaliving was reported and I guess because unfortunately there's so many stories that are similar it didn't immediately capture my attention but I ran across this again on Nika Knight's Instagram and I was looking around and I'm like okay so this time I kept swiping and looking at the whole story and there are many more like it you can never you know report enough of these but I do want to go ahead and talk about denisha's story a little bit today so I'm gonna let the clips explain more than I am I'm more just going to give a background in general as someone with a military background um just about the social part of this because I want to preempt some questions um so first of all for me somehow I was blessed I was unscathed I did not go through the things that a lot of women have gone through in the armed services but it is a very big deal we have to take annual training every every year on how to spot it if it happens to us who to report to it's it's a whole it's a whole program for a reason um you know people say and it's true the military is a microcosm of the world of America so therefore if there's a lot of rape and other things happening out in the world outside the military of course those numbers are gonna be crazy as well as well in the military itself there are some things they pointed out and I just wanted to say that some of the behavior is normal for instance Denisha was in a vehicle with like three or four males because they were deployed to Germany and she's Security Forces so the military already is very much more it has more men than women then she's in Security Forces which is a you know again it's a lot more men than women in Security Forces within the military so her going to like the water park with a lot of males is not a red flag I just want to point that out that is uh very normal she it does seem that there was another girl with her though the and the only reason I can tell that is because when when Denisha does go try to report what happened to her they told her well you'll also be charged with the word on the screen because you mushed this female so that's how I know there was another female with her and again it's very normal to go out in a group with your military people like whoever's in your unit or you get to know you know you just kind of end up hanging out with them familiarity wise and with it being a very male dominated area military and security forces she's gonna be with a lot of males even the part where they say that they were drinking as long as the driver wasn't drinking drinking is not a crime they can drink they were in Germany alcohol not illegal over there as long as they're of age and I believe she's 27 so that behavior is not something that's abnormal that she was with a lot of males you know those were I'm sure most of them were her co-workers they were in her Unit A lot of people don't report what happens to them just as they don't report outside the military it has I mean yeah I saw the military it happens that also within the military most people don't report and as you can you'll hear she does try to report it she's discouraged and not only discouraged but told she'd be punished as well the what we learn in the training that we take about this happening to people because it does happen to any gender is that it usually does happen to it happens from someone that you are already familiar with it's not it's usually not going to be a stranger is what the numbers usually report even if you thought you try to follow your intuition and you hope and pray you just won't find yourself in certain situations they just should have been riding back to their Barracks or whatever and instead you know you'll see the video if you have if you're sticking around you'll see the video so where you know they're basically trying to suffocate her in the car or like subdue her but it's it's a lot and I don't know what else to say I just wanted to preempt some of the why was she with so many guys type conversation and stuff like that because the numbers the ratio that's kind of how it's going to be um also even if it wasn't the ratio and she just happened to be with a lot of guys that should not have resulted in what happened I am seriously thinking about it now and I think of my fellow military members women military members that I do know have gone through certain things and I just want to bring awareness today again unfortunately it's way too common there were some people that I would be around that raised red flags in my own mind so for me I didn't hang out with them but there are some people you never know that they were capable of capable of that so as much as you try to rely on your intuition it doesn't mean that that nothing will happen to you I I again I really believe I was just covered I really was because you you just don't know you just don't know so um you're gonna see two two videos one is the news report first um and then the second one is a tick tocker kind of breaking it down and connecting some theories that he has so um I hope y'all stick around and watch it just for awareness I'm sure since it came up on Nikka Knight's Instagram maybe their the investigation is picking up again I hope it's a heavy topic protect your mental health if you are not ready to watch something like this do not watch this video all right y'all talk to you later bye and just a warning the video you're about to see you might find difficult to watch assigned to the 139th military police company at Fort Stewart she was stationed overseas last summer in Wiesbaden Germany when she made a frantic video call to her family and asked them to hit record I love you it was July 19th she had serious bruises open wounds on her body oh my gosh in this 12-minute video call with her family she said she went with a group of military police officers from her unit off base to a water park said they had been drinking and on the car ride back they assaulted her they choked me out look they did they was doing me in the car I was gasping for air I was like well I had never been so scared about life I legit I thought I was gonna die in the car bro in and out of Tears on the call she vowed to report it the next day I'm going to talk to CID tomorrow I'm telling them that I don't want to be here no more I'll do whatever I have to do Mom I'm coming I can't be here no more I don't trust them I don't trust my leadership I don't I don't want to be here with none of them no more in a text message to her uncle the next day she wrote they told me if I report the assault I'll be charged with assault too because I mush the female and bit the male that was choking me 21 days later on August 9th Denisha Montgomery was found dead in her Barrack that same day the Army told Denisha Montgomery's family that she took her own life they said that we're sorry to inform you that your daughter has committed suicide by suffocation and I said how do you suffocate yourself I know that my daughter wouldn't kill herself no doubt in her mind no doubt in my mind I know my kid man after our story aired Senator Grassley wrote to Army criminal investigative Vision quote the circumstances surrounding private first class Montgomery's death raised serious questions which require further investigation from your Division and answers to Congress Grassley cites the video call to her family and writes that there is a discrepancy between the story The Family heard from her that night and what they heard from army CID quote the clear conflict between the video description from private first class Montgomery and CID demands explanation after Senator Grassley Leonard the Army played three videos on what transpired in the car and said no assault occurred despite the fact that the investigating officer in Germany determined in his report that Denisha was in fact assaulted according to the Army's official CID report the officer in the car said they could not provide an explanation for her actions and had to quote restrained Anisha that she became belligerent and tried to exit the car several times while it was moving but stated they did what they could to prevent her from harming herself now news nation has obtained these three videos take a look in the first Denisha is seated in the front passenger seat there's clearly an argument between Denisha and the other woman in the car she asked to be let out of the car when the officer in the back seat appears to put his arm around her neck in the second video the vehicle has stopped Anisha is exiting trying to get away she can be heard screaming crying and pleading that they leave her alone one of the officers yells get that blank blank back in the car come here [Music] in the third video Denisha is laying across the back seat on top of three seated officers one of them holding her down appears to cover her mouth Tanisha can be heard saying she cannot breathe [Music] one of the officers can be heard saying stop holding her like that [Music] her family insists these videos are proof that Tanisha was assaulted I've watched The Assault they seen the assault if that had been me in the back seat and uh say it was the General's daughter I would be arrested it looked like another George Floyd incident we was outraged I mean it's clear as day on the video in front of our eyes attorney Lindsey Knapp is representing the family and demands this investigation be turned over to the FBI this was a Brazen assault where they choked her and she said she said breathe let me out these are military police officers they knew better we need a congressional investigation into this and we also need the FBI to look into this matter immediately because what we have is the military trying to police itself we are coming for justice know that we are coming for justice and we are Denisha Montgomery Smith [Music] now clearly very troubling video to watch we don't know exactly what preceded that incident in the car but we do know there's Snippets of details a German guard at the water park was interviewed and he said that he saw one of the people that was get eventually got in the car with Tanisha raised his hand as if to slap her but ultimately did not so clearly a lot more to unpack here Nicole um yeah Mama want to come home that's 27 year old Denisha Montgomery I'm about to tell you her story and Trigger warning it includes sa and death we was just we was all we all went to the water park and we just all drink and I don't know why everyone's mad at me I don't know much but they was being mean to me in the car so I was like just let me out the car but they wouldn't let me out the car and then all this happened it was covering my mouth like this they was doing that to me in the car those are clips from a FaceTime call that she made to her mother on July 19th she was telling her mother about a trip she had gone on that day to an amusement park these are the four people she went with this is PFC Brianna Frank this was denisha's roommate Denisha went to the water park with these four individuals and they were drinking on the way home they started being very aggressive towards her she wanted out of the car but they wouldn't let her out of the car they then began punching on her covering her mouth so she couldn't breathe and left marks on her body as you saw in the video she had no idea why any of this was happening is the Army's criminal investigation attachment Denisha stated she doesn't trust her leadership anymore but she had good reason last week okay they [ __ ] got raped and they don't even care about yes you heard her correctly PFC Verona Frank had been sa the week prior and she says her leadership didn't even care she turned out to be right whenever she went to report this incident the next day she was discouraged by her leadership from reporting it so rather than holding these people accountable for assaulting her and beating her her first sergeant this guy did nothing all he did was separate Denisha from her roommate for 24 hours and then put them back together in the same room and 21 days later on August 9th Denisha was found dead in that same room so who killed Denisha the Army is covering this death up and we need to know why this guy Sergeant Luis green Torres wasn't even in the same unit as everybody else everyone else is in the 139th MP comp and they were stationed at the time in the Wiesbaden Germany but Sergeant Green had flown to Germany from Fort Lewis in Seattle Washington just to go beat up Denisha that's suspicious but there's more third 13 days after Denisha had been murdered PFC Le Courtney Colvin made a Facebook post in that Facebook post he talked about how Danisha had pulled him over one night because Denisha was a military police you see this comment where Peter C Colvin said you know this old girl who gave us that warning ticket him and his friend had a synthetic marijuana on them called Blue Lotus which is illegal in the Army and he should have been arrested for being caught with but instead he was given a warning to turns out that when Denisha pulled over Le Courtney and found the Blue Lotus the synthetic marijuana her supervisor radioed and said just let him go with a warning and in the Army nobody gets off with a warning for having drugs nine days after La Courtney Colvin made this post he too was found dead in his Barracks room in Germany if you dig deep enough the question starts becoming is there a blue lotus synthetic marijuana drug ring happening in Germany was Denisha Montgomery Smith and lecourtney Colvin murdered to cover up that is that why Sergeant Green flew all the way from Fort Louis to Germany and who was the NCO who told Danisha to just give him a warning ticket and why did her first sergeant and her commander not take care of Denisha and keep her safe from her attacker Denisha deserves Justice and her family deserves answer the Army has promised a thorough investigation but it's very clear it's going to be anything but that when the military came to tell Denise's family that she had been found dead they told her it was from suicide that she had suffocated herself but then later said that the autopsy is still ongoing and is under investigation so then how did you already draw these pre-conclusions and it's funny you mentioned Suffocation when in the video she talked about they were covering her mouth and not letting her breathe in the car 21 days prior to her death I believe the FBI should be taking over this investigation the Army cannot be trusted to investigate itself especially given all the other circumstances surrounding this incident join me in demanding Justice for Denisha Montgomery [Music]
