All right, looks like we have most of the crew here. Hopefully the sound is good for everyone. Shout out to Replay Gang Gang. All right, so we're starting with the one that's on the thumbnail. These are all DUI arrests. And the first one, as you'll see, Ohio body cam is going to show the preview of the car circled in a red circle crash into the police's car that has actually pulled somebody else over for a field sobriety test. That's was wild. Okay, so we're gonna start. We'll watch it. I'll have commentary throughout. Let's go ahead and go. Let me see. There's no sound yet. It's coming, I think. But that's the preview. And you'll see it again. I think they'll show it again. During a field sobriety test, an Ohio State trooper was interrupted when a drunk woman crashed into the back of a safety patrol vehicle, which was blocking the road for safety. >> So, look right here for me. >> Right here. >> Okay. The police officer is currently testing a different person. So, keep your eye on their POV of when this drunk driver hits the police officer's car, which is behind um wait, is this his car? I can't remember this. I think this is a police officer's car that's about to get hit. But it's crazy that they weren't hurt. It is crazy. But here we go. Keep looking. Keep looking. Keep looking. Keep looking. Keep looking. I'm going to go up. So, y'all heard the horns. You heard the crash. If you were looking on the left hand side, you could see the vehicle of the woman that's on the thumbnail. Um I is y'all I'm just gonna go back just a little bit so y'all can see it because if you're not looking for it, you're gonna miss it. So the cop is assessing someone else that he pulled over for suspected DUI and then his car gets hit uh by the other drunk driver by for sure a drunk driver. Okay, here we go one more time on that part. But um everyone's walked away from this. I'm I don't want you to think I'm trying to tell you this. Now all of a sudden it's like you didn't tell us somebody passed. Uh everybody walked away from this. I'm going to go up 63 Cleveland. We have a 31 on my same traffic stop. We just had a car >> for 25 years, dude. >> All right. >> And the cop, I don't know how he kept his voice calm through throughout this. I know some parts you could tell he was kind of the adrenaline, but he kept pretty calm. >> Well, right. Just >> Can I move my truck over? >> Yeah, go ahead. Move your truck over. >> I haven't had a 25 years. Could you have another unit 20 with me over here and then have EMS and route? >> Okay. >> I got hit. >> I got EMS coming in route. Are you okay? >> I got hit. Oh my god. >> Are you okay? I got EMS coming. >> My head is killing me. >> Oh yeah, she she did hit other people. I forgot about that. That she hit other people. Oh my god. the her the way she acts once you see her is just going it's going to make you mad. I forgot. I couldn't see where she hit these other people. I only saw where she hit the police car, but as you can hear there are other people involved, but um the ambulance comes for them. >> Six Cleveland EMS route signal five for that 20 as well. >> Okay. 17 mile. >> All right, I'm going to go see if that other guy is okay. All right. Hey, she okay? Is she in there? She's locked in. >> She trapped. >> Yeah, but she Okay. >> This is the drunk driver's car right here. >> No, literally I'm okay. >> Open your car. >> No, literally I'm okay. >> Are you injured at all? >> No, I'm okay. >> You going to have a seat back in your car just in case. >> Huh? >> This crazy. >> Just go stay in your car for me, okay? Cuz I still have your license. >> No, literally. Oh, you got Can you >> So what? >> Can you get out of your car for me? >> I'm gonna die. >> Oh, you're good. You're good. You're good. >> Huh? >> You're good. >> Oh my god. >> I come to the sidewalk. Come to the side road. Come to the side road. Get out the roadway. Get out the roadway. You don't want to get hit. >> Six Cleveland. Bait for that. >> Disregard. That vehicle has a dealer. >> I'm okay. >> Oh, you got Relax. We have EMS route. No, I'm okay. >> Come. You can't go back in the car. You can't go back in the car. >> I'm not going to get back in the car. >> Just stand right here for me. How many are injured? >> Stand by the >> Oh my god. >> As of right now, only two. >> Why would they >> Is there anybody else in that car? >> No, it's literally just me. I'm not going. Oh my god. >> Can you see if Clayton can be in route as well? Cuz this vehicle is 32 in the center lane and there's debris all over the roadway as well. >> Okay. >> Am I okay? >> Yes, you're doing you're doing fine. Okay. You're fine. >> I just want to make sure I'm okay. I have a >> I have a kid at home. >> All right. That's understandable. >> As long as I'm okay, I'm okay. >> Six or even if you could note that the driver >> hit me and ran. >> Relax. >> That's crazy. >> Just >> I just want to make sure I'm okay cuz I have a kid at home. >> Yeah, I understand that. But you're going to be fine. Okay. >> Are you sure? >> Yes, you're going to be fine. We have EMS coming around for you. Okay. >> Okay. >> Where you coming from? >> I was with my brother. I was going home. you. >> Yeah. Um, Angela, I don't remember if they actually breathalyze her and we know the measurements, but what I do know is she's probably going to say she had two drinks because again, it's always two >> downtown. >> Downtown. Don't Don't mess with the guys. You're going to be fine. >> I literally have a kid at home. >> Yeah. Have you had anything to drink tonight? >> I I was drinking. >> You were drinking? >> Yeah, but not drinking. How many drinks have you had? >> Just one. >> Just one, you said. >> Okay. >> No, your car is totally just standing right here. >> Yeah, she's bleeding. The airbags tore her up. I think it's all from the impact of airbags, but yeah, she is uh bleeding. You said next to the vehicle that struck [Music] patrol car, but I'm not too sure. >> I literally can sit right here. >> No, you're going to sit right here cuz EMS has to come and check you out. Okay. You're going to sit on this guardrail. Do not go back into the roadway. >> You understand? >> Yeah. >> All right. I apologize for raising my voice, but you have blood all over you. You have to get checked by EMS. All right. >> I I have my daughter. >> Can I get my phone? >> All right. I'll get your phone for you, but you have to sit on that garbage. Okay. >> Spoiler alert. The daughter she's worried about is a teenager, just so y'all know. And the daughter was not in a vehicle. The daughter is, I think, back at home. >> 63 Cleveland, if you could send next available for that vehicle that I gave you the RP for. No, I'm going to let you go. Just hold on for me. All right. >> I told you to sit on the guard. You got to sit on the guard rail. >> I'm not going to I'm not going to disrespect you. >> Just Just sit on the guard. >> I have to I don't have my >> Can you sit on the guard rail for me? Sit on the guard. Can you Okay, we're going to worry about that. No, you have to get checked out by Can you listen listen? My daughter is at home by yourself. I have to go home. >> No, you guys. >> No, I have to. >> You have to stay here. You cannot go back in the roadway. Your vehicle is total. >> I walk. I have to get to my daughter. >> That's not going to happen. >> I will have to get my daughter. >> That's not going to happen. If you were so determined to get to your daughter enough to walk, wish you would have walked before you hit those people and you know got everybody into this predicament. If if if you so bent on getting home, wish you would have walked before. >> All right, >> I'll walk. >> I won't drive. >> You hear me? >> You're not going to walk. You're not going anywhere. >> Can I get my phone? >> I said I'd get your phone, but I told you not to leave the guard rail. As soon as I left, you got up. >> Stay stay >> Oh, MJ, there's clear footage. cuz you might have to go back and replay it unless the uh uploader Ohio body cam unless they play it again while we're watching it. There's no there is no question she caused the accident there. He had someone pulled on the side of the road um to give them a sobriety test of who he suspected uh was driving under the influence. Every all the emergency lights on, they're on the shoulder of the road. She she definitely just caused the accident cuz she's impaired and she shouldn't be on the road. There is no stay right there. Stay right there. >> Stay right there. >> Oh. All right. This is your license. >> I was traumatized, man. >> You can go. All right. >> I was traumatized, man. >> I'm >> I ain't never seen that. I always seen that on TV, but never in real life. >> I understand, but I can't deal with you and her. So, you're going to be all good to go. All right. >> I appreciate it. But hey, I am sober. >> All right. I All right. So, you're all good. >> All right. I'm sorry. I literally have to give my order. Like there's nobody else to my door. >> You're not going anywhere. All right, let's walk towards my car. We got to walk towards my car. Come on. We have >> I don't even care about that car. I >> Okay, we have to walk toward >> We have to walk towards that car. Okay, >> I will walk with you. My daughter is out. Like I >> All right, we're going to check on your daughter. We're going to get your phone and we're going to make sure she's okay. >> I don't even care about the phone. Why is this too good to >> And what pisses me off is she goes from tears to clarity and just anytime somebody goes from tears to the other emotions, it just makes me mad. Like I don't know, especially when they're at fault for whatever the chaos is. Um if you were just going through grief like of like I don't know, you lost somebody. I'm not talking about that kind, but when you cause the problem then you go from tears to the other stuff. It irks me >> to my daughter. My My mother, my dad is not Nobody's alive but my mom. Like I have to get home. >> All right. I'm sorry to hear that. Can we walk towards my car? It's closer to the lights. It's going to be a lot safer so we don't get >> I'm not I'm not even dead. Huh? >> Listen. >> I I listen listen. >> I believe you. >> My mom is dead. >> I understand. But >> you hear me? >> I understand what you're saying. Okay. >> Okay. As long as I'm okay, I can't go to my to jail for like me. >> All right. Can you can Can you All right. >> Sit right here. >> This is where exact I do not move from here. >> I won't move. >> Do not go back into that roadway. Okay. >> Oh, [ __ ] no. >> All right. >> But I I have to get home to my daughter that vehicle that got struck. I have to get to my daughter. My daughter's home by herself. Like I can't I have to get home to my daughter. >> Get this black sedan. >> [ __ ] >> Negative. It should be that >> truck with the lights on right there. >> I literally have to get to my door. Like there's nobody else alive from my >> literally officer. >> Do you hear me? There's literally nobody home to my daughter. >> I understand. >> I have to get home to my daughter. >> All right, but we have to make sure you're okay first. >> I'm literally okay, but there's nobody else alive or my daughter. Like, I have to get home. >> All right, let's go. >> I I have to get home, officer. Like, I'm literally okay. But my daughter is at home by herself. I have to get home. My daughter, my my [ __ ] mom is >> We have to have EMS check you out before anything else. All right. It's for your own safety. >> I understand what you're saying. I'm [ __ ] up. >> Six Cleveland for that plate that I gave you with the registration. You can note that the driver >> has blood marks on her hand and her >> What is that? Your left left cheek or >> It does. Yeah, adult daycare is right, Purple Haze. Like, it's just too much. Like, this is ridiculous. These people are grown acting like this, making these stupid decisions, and leave other grown people to have to deal with the consequences. Now, you got this family that was hit by her. They at the minimum are, you know, their car is wrecked. They have a ambul a um medical bill that is going to be due because of things that they weren't doing. They were just driving, minding their business. Now, they have all this other stuff. Not to mention if there are injuries enough that they have to take weeks or months to recover from all this because you're this irresponsible. You didn't care about your daughter. Don't don't bring her in now. But they always do that. They always bring in the kid. Even uh this kid, like I said, is a teenager. Um but you know, a minor is a minor and everything, but yeah, like it's just too much. And this whining is getting on my nerves. >> Hey chick that you have blood on, >> right? It's the right one. >> And she has blood on her left cheek as well. >> No, right, babe. Right. >> Okay. See, that's that part. See, she goes from crying to blah blah blah. Now she's flirting with the cop. That stuff makes me so And you again, you have just literally injured people. You almost un alive people. And now we're flirting. That stuff gets on my nerves so much. >> [ __ ] up. >> Six Cleveland. For that plate that I gave you with the registration tag, you can note that the driver has blood marks on her hand and her What is that? Your left left cheek or right cheek that you have blood on? >> Right. That's the right one. >> And she has blood on her left cheek as well. >> No, right babe. Right. >> Okay. >> Correction. Right cheek. >> Mhm. Yeah. Aunt Natty, she just called him babe or bae. Yeah. And giggled. She sure did. >> But I there's no way literally I have to arrive after my daughter. Like I have to get home to my kids. >> I don't even understand why the [ __ ] they did that to me. Like that's crazy. >> Are you aware that you're the one you hit that car? >> They smint out. >> You hit that car. >> I understand what you're saying, baby. >> I'm not even mad. I just want to get >> You shouldn't have anything to be mad about. Everyone should be angry with you. Don't No, no one cares if you're mad. >> Home to my kids. Well, that's understandable and you're going to get home to your kid, but we have to have EMS check you out first. All right. >> RP, this is the one that was involved. >> You good? >> John Victor 44. John Victor 442. >> I'm great. >> All right. So, the patrolling unit if you What I'm going to do is I'm going to run you through a few field tests. All right. Just the first test. What you'll do is you're going to follow the tip of my pen with your eyes and eyes alone. Okay. >> Mhm. I'm drunk. I'm not going to lie. See, >> you're drunk? >> Yeah. I'll be talking with my brothers at the club. I'm drunk. I'm not going to hold you. I need to go. >> What's that? >> Oh my god. >> You're going to get to the hospital. Am I doing home by >> All right, you're going to get to >> No, I need to talk to the hospital. I need >> All right. So, look. You see where the tip of my pen is? Look right here. All right. You're going to follow with your eyes and eyes alone. Do not move your head. Just use your eyes. Does that make sense? So, look right here for me where my finger is. >> Mhm. >> Look right here. Look right here. Up. Up. Up. Up. Right here. Okay. Right there. You're moving your head. Don't move your head. All right. Just use your eyes for me. >> Okay. >> You're moving your head. Try not to move your head. All right. Just use your eyes. She is. >> She is. >> I mean, yeah, she's got she's cut off. >> Is she the only one in that car? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> All right. Well, we got to check you out. You know, you got injuries. This guy's injured over here. All right. >> He's got a gash on his head, too. So, >> all right. >> Might want to get call another one. >> Yeah. Let me see if he wants to go, but yeah. Yeah, he's going to need to go. He's pretty concussed. >> All right. So, let's continue this. All right. So, keep looking right here for me. Okay. Right here. My top of the finger is. Look here. >> Stop moving your head. All right. Keep your head still for me. >> You got red. >> We got cuffers coming. Just one. Do you mean more? >> Yes. As soon as he approached the vehicles, he Well, he called for medics. When she hit that first car, he checked on them and then he ran to her car. So, medics have been on the way, but yes, he called for medics specifically for her as well. He you know, I mean, yeah, he he's he's doing everything to me uh the way it should be done for the most part. That I that that seems normal to me. I'll say that cuz I don't know his job like that. >> Right. Both vehicles I would suggest a flat bed with them. RP Cleveland heavy uh heavy duty pickup truck so I can't eat a flatbed. >> Okay, I'll get someone else call. >> I keep looking for EMS is on scene. Probably going to need another one here. I think they're calling another one. >> Stop moving. Yeah, I think as long as someone doesn't need like super immediate medical attention where they can't walk, they aren't conscious and all this stuff. I do think no matter how obvious it is, the cops should always perform a field sobriety test, do all the things because later someone's going to claim they were just exhausted. It appeared like they were drunk, they have diabetes, because apparently diabetics, there's some I don't know what yet, but I just hear a lot of cops always ask, "Are you diabetic?" when the person appears drunk. Um, I know y'all let me know why there's a connection there, but yes, they always should test because it doesn't matter how obvious it looks, a person will claim something else later on. And now there's no way to test it anymore. >> Stop moving your head. Just use your eyes. >> All right. I'm just literally It's me and my daughter. So, I'm just trying to All right, I'm going to go up. Stop moving your head. Just keep your eyes. Use your eyes. She's all yours if you want to talk to me. Was just her in the car. >> Yes. >> I ain't even Okay. >> All right. >> Can you watch her while I go through that car and try to find an ID? [Applause] Thank you, Kim Jones. So, that's the connection to when police ask if they're diabetic and it appears as if they're unsteady. Uh Kim said, "If your glucose is extremely low, it can cause dizziness and can be incoherent as well." And then Angela said, "Low blood low blood sugar will make you incoherent. That's why they always ask about the diabetes. Low blood sugar." Okay. Thank y'all. I appreciate it. So, right now he's looking in her car. If you're not looking at your phone or your tablet or your TV, he's looking inside her car right now. You don't hear me talking. That's why. Sorry y'all probably couldn't hear me, but he's looking at her car right now. If you're not looking at your screen, he's going through her car. Six are clear. for that RB with the registration plate. Would that come back to the RO? >> You want that car? >> Yeah, we probably want to move. What's your name? >> My name is Caitlyn Jones. >> Kaitlyn Jones. >> Okay. Are you going to be going with EMS? You might want to go with EMS. >> I literally don't care. As long as my daughter's okay. I don't care where I go. like as long as my kid is okay cuz it's just me and her. >> Okay. >> So, if you need me to go in there, like mentally I feel okay. Physically, I feel okay. But if you need me to go do anything for my kids sake, I'll do it. >> She'll be 73 for home. She's not in the car or anything. But I like it's literally just me and her. So, I just want to make sure she's >> 16. Y'all see why I said the child's a teenager? She either said 15 or 16. >> How old? >> 16. >> So literally, no. I'm I'm okay. I I 17:30 Riches will be in route with flatbed. >> Okay. Roger also. Okay, if you could advise her not attached to the signal. >> Okay. Is he fine? >> I'm starting your photos right now. >> You got the photos? >> Yeah, I got it. >> All right. >> All right. Hey, what was that one car that someone put for a traffic stop on? Did they fully? >> Yeah, I let him go. He was just He was not a part of this at all. >> Oh, he wasn't part of this at all. >> So, I was on a traffic stop with that truck. He was stepped out with me controlling traffic cuz that truck was stopped right in the interstate in the right lane. >> Yeah. She came out of nowhere and blasted him from the back and that's how we got here. >> Where's the car that you stopped for initially? >> Wasn't there one that you stopped for? >> Yeah. So, I stopped him for Mark Lane. That was the original traffic stop. He stopped in the right lane >> and he stepped out with me to control traffic and she just came and blasted him. >> I let that guy go so I could deal with this. >> I got you. Okay. I thought that was one stop. that they went silent on their end. It's the sound's coming back. Jacqueline, that's what I said. I was like, one thing I I remember from this video, and I've saved this one for a while. I I hadn't had time to put it in our other DUI videos. But him, how calm he is on the outside is what made me remember this just as much as she got on my nerves and the crash that she caused. It was his reaction to it cuz you know, like he was it was right there. It was crazy. All right. You're going to be okay. Okay. >> Okay. I understand that. Are you Are you choosing to go with EMS or what are you doing? >> I want to go home. >> All right. You're going to be home. I don't want to I don't want I needed to go home. >> So, I need to identify you. I'm going to ask you for your cell phone. Okay. >> I'm literally okay. I just need to get >> Oh, no. You just got in a car accident. >> She can't think about it. I'm I'm divine and divine. >> I would I would strongly suggest you go to EMS and go to the hospital. >> Let me identify her real quick. Her daughter's 16 years old. Kim 6. 63 for that 19 ID card. They're censoring her information. 63 clearing from that initial stop and my daughter. >> Thank you for the nonforest agencies. >> It's nobody else and my daughter and I feel like I'm okay. >> You're with the squad and then go to the hospital and call What do I do with >> you can go to the squad or go with she goes to the hospital? I'll go there. I'll meet you there later. >> I'll get it there. Just worry about her. I already figured things out. So I got info. >> You have an extra class. I don't know if I have one in there. >> Uh yeah, I should have one in my front seat. >> Okay. So are you are you going to go with EMS? >> I >> I really want you to get I really want you >> I really want you to get you out already. No, I haven't I haven't been over there. >> Who put that on your arm? Who put that on? >> Did you put that on? >> I did. I didn't. >> Somebody did. >> I don't know. >> Just to make >> She's so out of it. She don't know who wrapped her arm up. She don't recall the people that came and wrapped her bleeding arm up. >> Sure. Everything checks out. >> Stay with her. I'll get you. Okay. >> Nobody being my daughter alive. Like I don't want it to happen with us. Oh my >> head is out here. >> I don't even care if they tow my car. Like I just need to get to my daughter. Like there's nobody. >> So the best I can do is get her. >> All right. So you're going to get to go home to your daughter. Okay. At the end at the end of all this, you're going to go home. Okay. >> So I just want you to go with the EMS just to see if everything check just to make sure everything's good. All right. >> I'm I'm hurting. I'm not going to lie. I >> That's crazy. If she will only be able only get to um be seen by EMS and she actually gets to go home. That's crazy. This is one of the ones I definitely think should uh she should be arrested in my opinion. I don't remember the end then cuz I for sure thought this ended in an arrest, but she needs to be arrested. >> That's why I'm saying you should go with him so everything can be my daughter. >> I'll get your phone. A dear, uncle dear, daddy's there. Like, it's just me. >> I hate to get to my daughter. >> You're going to get to go home to your daughter, but as of right, I would really like you to go with EMS just so you can get checked out. >> Am I I'm okay. I'm okay. I >> Are you sure you don't want to go with >> I literally I'm okay. Like, this hurts, but mentally like I'm okay. I need to get through. my daughter. This is all I got. This is all I got. I'm not going to lie. I'm adopted. Like, my daughter is it. Like, I don't have much I need. I I don't even give a [ __ ] about my car. I My daughter >> You ever get her phone out that vehicle? >> Officer, >> I'm going to see if you can get your phone. >> I don't even I need >> Are you able to get her phone? I believe it's on the driver's side. >> I need to get to my daughter. Like I don't >> That's right. There's a lot of >> I I'll pay for anything else for my daughter. Like I don't need to go to the hospital. I >> overall feel okay. But if I don't make it to my daughter, I will not be okay. >> I said you go with the hospital. Just a She's a refusal for us already. Okay. So she's going to have to go before she goes to county anyway. I do always be find the ones they cry so much. They be crying all the time. Don't they sexy Arian? All the time. Yeah, she could have unaled herself or someone else. Now she's concerned about her daughter. Love Scorpion said, "Well, you should have thought about that before you got behind the wheel drunk, right?" Cuz she actually she's the she's not the epitome because unfortunately people are actually un alive by drunk drivers, but she's right before that mark of what happens when people drive drunk. She's the reason people get arrested for driving drunk. She should go to jail. She hit people. >> Take her like that. >> That'll be You guys can just run her up there >> to the [ __ ] >> Oh, he said she going to jail. Okay. Cuz I couldn't remember how it ended. I was like, well, we got a couple more minutes. We'll we'll watch it. But okay. He Bonnie said he said she's going to jail. There's nothing there. Nothing I ever done was all my kids. I My daughter doesn't have her dad. Like it's literally me all the time. Hey, I got a question real quick. Um I wanted to know if their own toe if they can handle it because he's got so much stuff in there. Um like his own um he's got a lot of tools and stuff. He wanted to make sure that they got it, you know, gets towed back to their shop. >> Yeah. So I if we handle the crash, unfortunately, we have to use our own tow service. >> Okay. And where does it go to? What? >> Yeah. So it goes to I I believe it's Cuffers that's coming to come get that car. Okay. >> So it would go to Cuffner. >> Can they use their own toe for that car or no? >> Yeah. You got >> you got gloves. You got extra gloves on you. I ran through mine. I ran through two pairs. >> They're on the floor. All right. Thank you. Oh, here's uh if you are able to look at your screen, Ohio Body Cam uploaded the picture of the truck she hit with the people that also needed an ambulance. So, that's their truck. Uh I can't make it any It's just the size that it is. But also, I'll link the original video so you can watch this with no interruptions, but uh they put the And their truck is It's crazy that her tiny car did that to that truck is crazy. Oh, is that No, no. Oh, no. That's the um first responder truck cuz I see emergency lights on there. I don't I don't think that's the one she hit where they went to the ambulance. I think that's the first responders truck possibly. Either way, that's a lot from that tiny car. >> You didn't cancel that second. >> We got Jesus towing out here for that uh >> RP for the patrol. I guess they use them all the time. >> I don't know if you need anything else or not. >> My guys We got to get off this highlight. >> So, I don't know if you need anything else. >> Is she going to go to the EMS? >> No, she's already um I'll go to the hospital and get the other guys. What were they saying about the I saying the county will get his uh stuff, his statements, and I'll do the photos and stuff. All right. >> I don't know what this mess is. >> Yeah. What happened, man? All right. So, I'm going explain a few things to you, okay? Since you're injured. >> No, you're not going to do that. Okay. >> I need to get >> Okay. If you >> Okay, I'm going talk about Hold on. Wait. Give me 30 seconds. Give me 30 seconds. I'm going to give you my latches off. >> I'm giving you 30 seconds. I got your phone in my back pocket. Okay. >> 10 seconds. 10 seconds. I'll be okay. >> Oh my god. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. It says she was arrested for uh OVI after testing twice the legal limit. >> Okay. >> All right. So, since you're injured, I'm going to cuff you in the front. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, >> I got Okay. Can you put your hands together like this? >> Yes. >> All right. Just like this. All right. Just >> Just calm down for a minute. I never been in trouble in my life. >> You're not going to jail. >> I want my All right, they made the picture bigger if you want to see the vehicle um that was crashed into. And I'm about to get to our next video. This one is 15year-old calls cops after drunk mom abandons her at store. So, we'll watch that one together. Oh, for sure. It was more than one drink. For sure. Okay, so let me get this one. On August 5th, 2023, officers responded to a 911 call about a disturbing situation. A woman reportedly under the influence had driven to the floor and decor store and abandoned her child inside. >> What's going on? >> My mom, my grandpa went to my grandpa went to the car and she he let my mom drive the phone yesterday. It's it was down the road um by the shop by the mall shopping center and she just started drinking and she just got out of hand. She just in7 she was going to bite me. She actually slapped me kind of in my face and I just when she when she made the stop down there I just ran down here and caught my grandma. >> What's your mom's name? >> Kayla. >> Kayla. Where's your granddad? >> Hello. >> Hey Kayla, how are you? pretty good. What's up? What's up? Who is this? >> This is Officer Holler Orlando Police. >> What's up? >> Um, where are you currently located? We're here with your daughter. >> Why? >> Who is this? You have my daughter? >> Yes, it's Officer Hollow Orlando Police again. We're here with your daughter at Floor in the Core. Are you anywhere close? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, can you come to floor in the core on the west side close? floor and floor and decor. >> Yeah, I'll be there in one minute. >> Thank you. >> All right. What's going on? What's going on with you and your mom? >> She just started drinking and I didn't She's not good. She's >> She's not who? >> She's not good. She's drinking. She's >> What? What does not good look like? >> She just She starts acting crazy. >> Like what? What's What's crazy to you? What does that look like? >> She starts driving fast. She starts yelling. And I didn't want to get out the car cuz I didn't want to go in the um the movie theaters were acting like that. So I started >> How old are you? >> Who? >> I'm 15. >> 15. >> Okay. So I'm trying not to give everything away on this video until it actually unfolds. So the only thing I'll try to make clear is her mom was already under the influence. She apparently knows how her mom acts when she gets like that, which also is unsafe to drive under the influence as it is. But she knew her mom was probably going to go in there acting her ass into the movie theater cuz they were supposed to go see a movie together. And so uh I don't I think I don't know if the mom kicked her out of the car uh to cool off or whatever, but the daughter end up call the police cuz she was abandoned by her mom at around this store mall area. So that's kind of where they're at so far figuring out where's your mom? Why are you here but your mom's not here? Where's your dad? >> Don't know. Okay. Who do you live with? >> My grandma. >> You don't live with your mom? >> We all We all >> Okay. >> Does your granddad have a car? >> All right. We'll talk to your mom. See if she's drunk. If we don't determine that she's she's drunk, you're going to have to get back in the car with your mom. >> All right. >> When you said you started drinking, what do you mean by that? she went to 7-Eleven and then >> so that kind of made me uncomfortable. um where he was like, I know you legally have to go back with your parents if they don't determine a problem, but it just seemed like he was already leaning towards there's no problem with the mom and it's like, hey, all this commotion, whatever, you got to go back with your mom. And it just made me uneasy on how like it's like I don't know. Like she called cuz there was a problem. >> I saw her grab a drink, but she said it was soda. I didn't believe her, but I saw her throw it away cuz when she's lying, I just like it's like how she starts acting. >> So, what what or something? >> She just I don't I think it was like >> or did she buy the 7-Eleven drink there? >> Yeah, she she got a cup and I guess she poured in the cup and then she just threw it away and I didn't really see it clearly. >> Did you see her pour in the cup? >> Uh, she pou it in the store. >> Did you see her pour in the store? And this is all just speculation >> and that's all she was saying. That's it. >> She stopped twice and said, >> "Hey, Kayla." Hey, I'm Officer Scales. I spoke with you on the phone. So, tell me what's going on. >> Um, I tried to attempt to take my daughter to um the um movies or whatever. >> Yeah. Right over here. >> Mhm. and she's been crying cuz she didn't want to go there. I guess she didn't like what I was doing cuz I was supposed to move. >> She didn't like it. So, she started crying. We got here she started crying out. >> Okay. Has she done this kind of thing before? >> No. >> No. >> No. >> Okay. >> So, what's the issue with today? I mean, what's different today? Like, what? She just got upset, you think? The thing is is because my grandmother sold her house. >> Yeah. >> And my grandmother sold her house. She gave me a lot of portion of her money and a lot more responsible and things like that. >> I'm not sure if she loses or what behavior. >> I'm not sure what the mom selling her house has to do with this current situation. Um, I'm guessing she's trying to say something about some long-term resentment, but I don't know. I feel like that that's a decoy explanation right now. >> Just hang out right here with my partner. This is your rental dad. >> Okay. See, I can see the 7-Eleven. >> Yeah. [Applause] What's in the 7-Eleven cop? >> There's something in there. >> What am I seeing in there, though? Am I going crazy? >> Um, I dropped some wine out of there. >> Some wine? >> Mhm. >> Okay. You been drinking today then? Just a little bit. >> Okay. How much you think you've been drinking? Just >> ballpark estim >> a container. >> Uhhuh. >> Like how big is that container of wine? >> One of the little bottles. >> Correct. >> Okay. And you got that at the 7-Eleven? >> Correct. >> Okay. And then you put it into the container, the 7-Eleven cup. >> Correct. >> Okay. And how long ago was that? >> 3 hours ago. >> 3 hours ago. >> Mhm. She's telling us story. So that's why I've been running around. Got no iPhone. Came back around. >> Why you driving around? >> Because I'm trying to figure out where I want to take my daughter to be at peace to go to the movies. >> But you left her. >> I didn't leave her. She walked away from me. >> Right. Right. But you didn't. >> And I tried to get her to go to the movies. We went to Winter Park Village where her schoolmates and everything else. >> Yeah. I wouldn't if I was whatever age and I could understand what's going on around me. I don't want my drunk mom taking me to a movie theater where my classmates or friends are at or anyone in public could see her even if I didn't know those people. Um yeah, I I wouldn't want to be around you. Especially she knows how her mom get she knows what her mom is like when she's drinking as well. She could see the future. Yeah. Whole bottle in a 7-Eleven cup. Um we I'll let them keep telling. I'm trying not to narrate ahead too much. >> And she didn't want to go there. That's where she wouldn't want to go. Oh, that's the road. She wanted to go by her friends. I see. >> No, no, no, no. It's out there. Her friends don't even go there. Her friends go to somewhere in that area and I tried to get her to park. She started crying. So, I decided to drive back to where I start to from Fashion Square Mall. And she didn't want to go to Fashion Square Mall. So, I turned back over and then she didn't want to go there and I was like because she didn't want to go anywhere with you in public. Mo, it wasn't about did she want to go shopping versus the movie theater. She did not want to go anywhere with you in public. That's I I totally understand that. >> Turn around and go. Maybe she'll change her mind. And I was trying to get her change her mind. So go to the movies, watch the movie. >> Okay. I'm talking about the uh driving pattern since you know you separated from your daughter. >> No, she walked away from me. That's the old pattern. I'm not trying to be funny. I'm not trying to dictate the situation. >> That I don't care about what we call it. >> She She did walk away from me when I tried to get her to go to the movie theater. >> I'm not disputing that fact. Okay. What I'm asking you about is since that instance happened where you >> and then I couldn't find her dad. >> Can you let me finish? >> Find out what she said. She's from my dad. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, pay attention. Listen to my question. All right. Then I want you to answer after I'm done asking her. You understand that? >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, since your daughter left the car >> Mhm. >> where did you go? >> I went to my grandmother's. >> Okay. Then what? I got me something to eat and I'm going to head to Walmart. >> Where are you? >> Um Publix Publix on Orange in Michigan. >> Right there. Okay. And what was the plan for the 15-year-old? >> For her to call me >> and then what? >> For me to return back where she was. >> But you figured you'd get something to eat and go to grandma's first. >> No, because I met trying to call her and she wouldn't pick up the phone. So I went to public. I'll be fine and it's fine. >> Okay. All right. You want to do some tests to make sure you're all right to drive? >> I mean, I'm okay. I'm trying to go to the movies and my daughter. >> You wouldn't mind going through a few exercises to make sure that you're >> Come on over here. >> Yeah. I'm trying to remember what her her ending charges were besides driving under the influence. MJ, because that's what I'm wondering, too. With the daughter being 15, she can, you know, walk around in a place like this mostly, okay? But if there's no plan to know when your parents come back, is that is that the issue? Um, you know, she went to live I ain't gonna say her best life, but she went out chilling while her daughter uh was out there. And I think again her daughter knows her patterns at this point. So when she drove off and left her, maybe her daughter's like, I might not see her again for hours or something like I don't know. I just obviously it's a lot that's not going to be said on the body cam, but the daughter knows her mom. I want you to stand right here for me. >> Okay. Put your feet together. Heels and toes touching. Side by side. >> Put your arms on your side. >> Are you injured at all? >> Um, a little bit. >> What's injured? >> My hips. >> What happened to your hips? >> Just outside. >> Oh, so you're not You didn't get hurt today? >> It's like an ongoing thing. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Have you been diagnosed with anything by a doctor? >> Oh, no. I mean with the hips that you brought up earlier. >> Nope. >> Okay. Watch your video. You see this white line right here that you're standing up? >> So, she says she got lopsided hips that she a doctor didn't diagnose her with the lopsided hips. In case you missed it, >> the curve take one step back and do a walking turn. All right. So, put your left foot on that one. Put your right foot in front of your left foot with your heel touching your toe. All right. Keep your arms down to your side. Stand just like that. Tight. Tight. Begin. Do you understand? When I say begin, I want you to take nine heel to toe steps out of that line. I need you to step out loud looking down at your toes. Once you get to nine, you're going to keep that front foot on the line. Turn in a series of small steps until you're facing this direction again. And take nine heel totoe steps back down that line. Now, I'll demonstrate it for you. >> Uhhuh. Not the giggling. Okay, she's already wobbling. But as we have said on here, a lot of us when I pass these field sobriety tests, just draw my blood because I have no balance for this. But um she already admitted to drinking wine. I think out of her 7-Eleven cup. >> You know what I'm looking for? What's funny? >> Nothing. >> Okay. >> So, I'm going to show you what I'm looking for. All right. I've got you lined up right in front of your left foot on your side. When I say begin, you're going to take nine foot steps on that line like this. One, two, three. Begin. You're going to take time. Once you get to nine, keep that front foot on the line. Turn in a series of small steps so you're facing the original direction. Now, lift those steps back. One, two, three. Again, you're going to go all the way up to nine. What you need to remember, I'll have you put mine back up. What you need to remember is look down at your toes. Now, you step out loud, keep your arms down to your side, and don't stop until you're finished. Do you understand all that? >> Ma'am, I'm listening. >> Do you understand what I just asked you to do? >> Yeah. >> Do you have any >> She's already forgotten. If she ever heard you, there's no way. >> Why don't you get line back up with your right foot in front of your left foot? >> Okay, begin. [Music] Do you remember what I asked you to do? nine steps. >> She got to turn and do nine more steps. Um, she wobbling wobbling, too. Uh, let me see here. This is what I'm afraid of. I'm not going to lie. The daughter lives with her mom and um her grandfather. So, hopefully the grandfather's some type of buffer because this did worry me. Uh, MJ, I I defin this did worry me because she definitely to me seems to play the blame game. Like, no one made you drink. Your your at least your daughter didn't make you drink for sure. >> So fine. Yeah. >> Are you done? >> I think so. >> Okay. Come on back here. >> Stand right there. Put your feet together. Heels and toes touching side by side just like before. Keep your arms down to your side. For this one, what I'm going to have you do is pick up whichever foot you're more comfortable with. About 6 in up off the ground. That's about that much. Keep your front foot that you have raised parallel to the ground. Look down at that toe that you have raised and count out loud. 1 10002 1003 and so on to I tell you to stop. Now I'll demonstrate it for you again so you know what I'm looking for. Does that sound fair? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Now I've got you lined up. Your feet are together. Your heels and toes are touching your arms. When I say begin, you're going to pick up again whichever foot you're more comfortable with. About 6 in off the ground. About that much. Keep that front foot parallel to the ground. that to count 1,00 1,002 10003 1,004 1005 and so on until I tell you to stop this but you need to >> another reason I'll be like just test my blood and my breath is because when I'm nervous I can't remember instructions well which is why I am very bad during interviews like I do my best but I usually forget at least part of the interview question it's just something I haven't been able to uh get over. Thank goodness my other things have spoken for me, so I still can do okay in life, but I I forget questions and instructions when I'm nervous. So that's why for me, if a cop ever thinks I'm under the influence, I'll be like, I consent to blood and breath. Let's go. Because there's no point. I mean, I'm like, I'll still take your test, but I need you to make sure you test me biologically because or chemically because I'm not going to pass this because I'm nervous. you remember is count that toe that you have raised. Keep your arms down to your side and don't stop until I tell you. You understand all that? >> Mhm. >> Any questions for me? >> No. >> Are you ready? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Begin. [Music] Straighten your leg out. [Music] The arms are flailing. They ain't standing her side. [Music] All right. You good stuff. Do you want to be honest with me about how much you had to drink today? Two what? >> Containers. >> Two containers, y'all. It always comes down however they going to do it. They going to call it two drinks. She calling it two containers is is what she drank. Yes, Bama girl. We are. I think we're screwed. Somebody tell me for me and people like Bama girl because they tell you if you don't take the field sobriety test, you basically can be forfeiting your or getting your license suspended for refusing the test. But we know we're not under the influence. Should we still take the test and kind of fail it because we have bad balance and everything? Um, and of course, you know, they can test our blood and our breath. They're like, "What what should we do if it ever happens if they think we're under the influence?" And we know we not going to pass this field sobriety test cuz we just don't have good balance. >> So, how long ago did you [ __ ] >> 3 hours ago. >> 3 hours ago. >> Okay. And uh, so you had your your kid in the car with you earlier, right? >> She left me. >> But before that, you were driving around with your kid in the car. >> Okay. And you were in this condition with your kid. >> Yes, you were. Don't do that. Yes, you were in that condition. And y'all are right. She forgot to count as well. >> You said you stopped drinking 3 hours ago. >> She left me. She left when I was in the condition. She left me. I want to go to the movies and she left. >> Okay. So, which part are you lying about? Because right now what I understand is you were driving around but you stopped drinking 3 hours ago and you were driving around with your kid in the car. >> David got me something to drink. went to go trying to find out she wanted to see the mag. I really wanted to take her for once and for all to go see the mag. >> Had some money. Thought I had some money in my pocket. Go to her house. Got my daughter some money. Want to go take her see the mag. Didn't want to fill the way I was feeling. Got me a thing of barefoot wine. Small thing bare foot wine. Went to um was going ahead to West was dizzy. Decided I don't want to be bothered with this. I rather ride around town I feel as if I'm better to take her. >> So she's irresponsible when she gets a little money is what I've heard. And she also drinks to get rid of whatever feeling she's feeling. She said I didn't want to feel like I was feeling but she also wanted to she had money in her pocket and she wanted to do something. So she was going to go show out and she drinking her feelings away. Your daughter doesn't want to be a part of that spectacle. >> I see. So you were riding around to try and sober up before you came and picked her back up. Um, no. She was in the car with me the whole time before I decided to go to one last thing we're going to do. You see your front right tire right there? Just focus on that for a second. Okay. >> Oh, there we go. >> Is there someone that can come pick up your kid that's sober? >> No. >> I understand your parents are disabled. >> Yeah. Where's the child's father? >> I don't know. And I don't [Music] >> Oh, she He said, "Where's the child's father?" She said, "I don't know and I don't give a f." Um, that wasn't the worst part. I'm going to let her keep talking cuz now she getting mad and it's very much self-pity time. So, I'm going to let y'all hear what else she says. >> Who else can be responsible for that child? >> I don't know. Don't call. Don't answer me. >> Okay. >> Can it go your child go to your mom and your dad? No, cuz my dad let me drive the car. >> Do you have anything you need out of the car anyway? Like your phone while >> I lost her car. >> We're just going to hang out with her. I'll go get my car. >> I'll be right back. >> It's okay. Just get >> No, it's not okay. It's not okay. Make room for something else that happened. I don't think it's okay. It's okay. >> It's not okay. >> You'll get some help. >> No, I won't. >> Yes, you will. >> No, I won't. Cuz I got to stay here. >> You'll get some help. >> It's not okay. >> You will get some help. >> It's not okay. >> Get some help. >> It won't be okay. >> It will not be okay. I got to leave my daughter here without God's on. I don't know what the It's not okay. It's not okay. I can't even leave my child. Me and my child can't even go nowhere without nobody else. I don't give a It's not okay. It's not okay. >> It'll be okay. >> It won't be okay. And it won't. And I don't give a I feel the same way they feel. >> Don't worry about it. >> I worry about it all the time. How the going to pay for a DUI to get out of jail? I can't afford that [ __ ] >> If you can't afford the DUI to get out of jail, don't afford the two barefoot wines that you bought to get yourself into a DUI. That was the investment you made to now have to pay for a DUI. Do not do that part and you will not have to pay to get out of jail because of a DUI. And the DUIs I'm hearing are very expensive because that's not the only thing. Now you might have to breathe into a an attachment to get your car to start. There's the fines are crazy high. I've heard for DUIs. There's all these things. It's not even just getting out of jail for the DUI. Don't buy the alcohol to get the DUI and and seek help. If she's an alcoholic at this point, she's got to seek help. There are free resources. You have to do it for yourself. Um they can kind of force you into a program. It's up to you if you actually do it because that's not everybody, you know, even if they're forced into the program, they don't actually always follow through with it. You >> leave the alone like I ain't never seen y'all. Leave me the >> Hey, what's going on? >> Leave me alone. >> Lashing out. But yep, that's a Jacqueline. That's a rental car that her dad paid for. But yep, you are correct. It is a rental car. >> Okay, here's what's going to happen. All right, I'm going to talk to you about what's going to happen. >> Well, you guys got to calm down. >> So, you're going to go in the back of my squad car. >> Put the seat belt on. If you resist my officers, you will be put on the do ground and hobt tied and then put in the back of this car. Do you understand me? >> Do you understand me? If you resist anymore, your legs will be tied to your back and you will be put in the back of this car. >> Okay. >> Get inside this car and cooperate. >> Come on. Calm down. >> You are not going to resist anymore. >> Yeah, we got that around the other side. Yep. Yep. Would you like some air conditioning? >> Cannot breathe. >> Can I Can I take your daughter to your parents? >> No. I ask my parents to come and get her. I don't give a don't want around nobody in that mother. I don't want nothing like that going on. >> I'm going to go back to them asking her what they want to happen with her daughter because again all the true color has been coming out. I want to make sure I I I hear it and not just try to go off memory. [Applause] >> Would you like some air conditioning? No. >> Can I breathe? >> Can I Can I take your daughter to your parents house? >> No. >> All right. That's what pissed me off. I remember. He said, "Can I take your daughter to your parents house?" Now, now y'all remember from earlier if you were in here, they said, they asked the daughter, "Who do you live with?" She already lives with her granddad and her mom. They already live in the same residence. So, it doesn't even makes She's not estranged from her grandparents. So, when the cop says, "Can I take your daughter to your parents'?" Which I think it's only one parent. I don't know if her I think her mom's not alive. She Well, maybe her mom's alive. I'm sorry. But anyway, can I take your kids to your parents? And she's saying no. Why are you again hindering your daughter from being around someone that cares about them? Like, why would you block that? That's the type of stuff that I don't That's why I don't have sympathy for these types of parents. >> I ask my parents to come and get her. I don't give a I don't want all around. Nobody in that mother facity. I don't want nothing like that going on. >> If they if I can't take her there, she's going to go to DCF. >> Whoa. You got to have it your way. Go ahead. >> If I don't take her to your parents, who she already lives with, the daughter lives with her grandparents. She's going to have to go to DCF. And the mom said, "Well, f it then. This is there's no sympathy sitting in my chest for her. I know. I get it that she's probably had a hard life. I'm sorry. I'm just saying for me, I don't have the sympathy. It's not It's not It's not coming through for me. >> Hey, what the >> An officer transported the child to her grandfather's house as there was no other responsible adult available to take custody. >> Hi, sir. >> Hi, man. Thank you, man. >> Yeah. >> Well, here's her grandfather, the 15-year-old's grandfather, and that woman's dad that uh was arrested for the DUI. >> Um, what's happening with her mother nowadays? Probably half my fault for trusting her. I rented a car yesterday. >> Mhm. >> Take my granddaughter to the movies. >> Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. >> And she just screwed it all up. >> I'm sorry. >> You all right? >> Um, >> so what's happened with her? >> She's going to jail. >> I figured it was. >> Yeah, >> she needed She been there before, >> has she? Okay. >> Yeah, she's going to go to jail. Um, this is where the car is. You can keep this. >> Okay. Um I'm just >> Oh, they towed the car somewhere. >> Yeah, it's to that address on Wilmer Avenue. >> Where is this at? >> Uh it's not far. It's um right down by >> Pine Hills and 408, so it's pretty close. It's probably 10 minutes drive from here. >> Oh, you have a car? >> Yeah, >> that thing broke down the other transmission went. That's why I rented the car for the weekend. >> Oh, just so they could go to the movies. >> Cuz my bicycle is where I rented the car. Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. >> And they charge her$100. >> He She just put another financial burden on her dad on the granddad. On top of this, the the normal car is broken down. He rented a car trying to do something nice, letting them go to the movies together, have motherdaughter time. She done messed that up. That car got towed. It's just selfish. And it it's his side when he was like he it was like he's already dealt with this a lot with his daughter. >> Get the car back >> some around there. Yeah. If you go get it tomorrow, he'll pay me back. >> I hope so. Um I just got to since I released her to you, I just got to grab your info real quick. >> Yeah. You tried to do something nice and it I'm sorry. What she call you saying? >> Huh? >> What did she call you saying? She called me to let me know what her mother was going through and her mother was beating on her. So, she jumped out the car. >> Yeah. >> Oh, did y'all hear that? MJ, I think it was you. It went right back to that suspicion. It was She didn't even She didn't say that to the police officers, but the granddad said when his granddaughter called him, it's because the mom was beating her in the car and then she got out of the car. She didn't even say that. She just said, "I know how my mom acts." That's what she told the police. So she didn't even tell the police her mom was hitting on her. >> I said, "Baby, either." >> They muted what he said. >> She don't we don't that well. >> Okay. >> And you're her grandfather, right? >> Yes. Yes. >> All right. >> Okay. Yeah. Thank you for bringing it home, man. >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. >> That was my worry right there. >> Yeah. >> She don't know too well about >> Yeah, she's a nice girl. >> I didn't mind at all. >> Any questions, guys? >> Uh, >> okay. >> All right.
