like to do are a couple exercises and what I'm looking for is your ability to follow my instructions down I ADV you how how how the uh the exercise goes I ask you you understand I'm going to briefly several times in front of you okay all I need you to do for this excise your feet are going to be together your arms are going to be relaxed by your side and you're going to keep your head still facing me you're going to use your eyes only to follow the red light okay you understand okay I'm going to demonstrate so just watch me okay so my eyes are looking at the red light if I move it out to my side my eyes follow the red light my head's still straight facing you and when I bring it back my eyes still follow the red light and then I'll do it again okay you understand all right so feet together Arms by your side wait I can't put my feet together all right just the best you can I'm a big boy yeah all right we're going to look up here all right still keep your eyes open so tired you're tired I work I work my whole company myself okay so I do everything from the building to every so every morning I get there what do you do industrial batteries okay interesting all right let's try this guys up here again well still almost done the shoes the shoes they're look comfortable sneakers oh no cuz they're so loose you want to tighten them no no I'll go all right eyes up here open just noticed a lot of things with your eyes you have a lot of nagus going on your eyes are all over the place and plus you're having a difficult time trying to even keep them open so tired right I know that but just for your eyes to have any the stagis yeah which is theing while just while not I'm I'm not even moving the the uh the stimulus set your eyes are all over the place so I was just curious any type of neurological history or um neurological explain neurological like anything have you had any type of brain trauma have you had yeah brain trauma how how was that uh I've been un knocked unconscious 50 times 5 Z or zero you've been knocked unconscious 50 times yeah what playing like sports care all right you're scar that's all 50 times 50 times doing what street fights as a kid when I was 16 18 to gain a clearer insight into the situation more actions were implemented left yeah just your left foot all right you're going to take your right foot in front of your left foot with the heel touch in the TU I don't want you holding on to anything out I'll let you sit down you can tie your shoes they're so loose you see that you're a nice officer I'm trying I'm patient yeah the bottom lace came came out of the top hle oh yeah bring that one over there you go it's called country Kleenex I'm from the country and now I live in Florida it's hard all right okay so for this one you're just going to put your left foot on the line and take your right foot and put it directly in front of your left foot you just stand in this position the best you can without holding on to anything Hands by your side okay when I say begin what you're going to do is you're going to take nine steps forward on each step your hand your uh heels going to touch your toe your toes is going to touch your heel ni right not no spaces and no gaps all right ready well not yet let me finish the rest of the instructions okay when you get to your ninth step you're going to turn around way you're going to do that you're going to leave your front foot on the line take your back foot off the line take a series of slow steps turning yourself around back yeah so basically you're going to put yourself in the position that I'm back 10 back no nine forward turn around nine back to where you started all ready okay not yet remember your arms have to be by your side remain on the line heel touching toe toe touching heel no spaces no gaps count your steps out loud okay all right I'm going to demonstrate first so don't begin yet okay just watch me I'm going to turn to the side so you can see what I'm doing okay all right so I'll use this line here so this is the position that you're in now your very first step will be one and then two and then three all the way to nine take that back foot off Le the front foot on turn yourself around and then again one two ready I didn't tell you begin yet three four and all the way back to 9 okay ready once you begin the exercise don't stop until you've reached the end okay where's the end nine steps forward turn around nine steps back did you understand the instructions and how I demonstrated yes okay put your left foot on the line and your right foot directly in front of that that's how you're going to start I know put your right foot in front of your left that's your that's how you're going to start okay you can begin [Music] 11 okay remember the exercise that's it okay my feet are too big for that and these shoes are too tight too small too big too big all right that's why I'm all I'm all flopp this next exercise is called the one leg stand requires you to basically stand on one leg okay okay so that means you're going to have to take your opposite foot and stick it out in front of you okay in the end the officers gain control over the situation ensuring the man faces the full brunt of his actions left hand keep your eyes closed we got four more requests careful okay right hand okay keep your eyes closed head tilted back all right right hand right hand mhm okay keep your eyes closed head tilt the back and left hand all right there more come over here we're going to go to the front of my car okay for this exercise all it requires you do is just stand feet together okay eyes closed that's right hand y eyes closed and head tilted back just like that okay remain like that okay I'm placing you under arrest today for driving under the influence of alcohol beverage and chemical control substance I'm going to request a breath test to determine the alcohol content of your breath will you be willing to submit to a breath test yeah okay all right I do have my intoxilizer with me however because of the amount of uh foot traffic and everybody recording us we are not going to be doing us here okay that's just for your personal protection okay so we're going to go back to my office and we'll do the breath test there okay all right yeah take in jail y well right now we're going to the breath test something the
