But this guy provided that driver's license. That's correct. I should give you guys back. While officers spoke with the employee inside, the suspect told his friends to hide the fake ID. When confronted with the evidence, he denied wrongdoing even though the ID matched. I stole a car from them. You used the fake ID to purchase a car from them in December. What? That's the same picture. They got me on there. Yeah. So, what are they saying? And they about to You got a Audi? No, I don't have no vehicle. My vehicle was stolen. What What vehicle was it? With theft by deception, like we can make a decision whether or not we're charging, right? I mean, um, he's going regardless with the identity theft, but if you think you can get your vehicle back, if you want to talk to him, yes, you can do that. Just go to that back window right be the um the victim case or anything. Uh, yeah. So, so they got video that flash drive. Yeah. Just put the video on that flash drive. Okay. Um, hold it for me. Just let him know it's going to be a minute. All right. Give me one second. Okay. Just stay over here though. Okay. The woman provided an ID to the police that didn't match any records, raising doubts about her identity. Despite her claims of being from New York with no criminal record, the lack of verification led to further investigation. [Music] Hello. Uber driver. Can you name please? Because the Uber was calling me before. So you walked in trying to buy a laptop. I was asking for the price, right? And so they they came up to you. You're like, "You're interested in this laptop." That's what I don't want to do. But this is what I'm saying. But it's really like I really have claustrophobia. Like I really cannot sit in this. This is crazy, bro. This crazy. [Music] I sh be quiet. Don't say anything else. You stop talking about that. Officers spoke with the restaurant manager who explained that the man used the stolen credit card online to place the order and the woman was not directly involved in the fraud. All right. So, it's just Diana. [Applause] So, you got D I A N A. And then last name Yes. Okay. So, can I get your info, too, please? So, my name is Alec. A L E C. So, if you return on the plate, this is a stolen credit card. It's just she called, right? So, she called. Sometimes you run credit cards, you'll come back, right? She doesn't live in Georgia, which is the main thing. She doesn't even live here. Um, what's the [Applause] transaction. Eric Eric. Eric D. Yes, that's his name. That's the one that they did under the order with her card, right? And it was online um for him. So, he paid online, meaning he did it from his house or phone with her card number. They didn't come in or over the phone. They didn't call it in. They just typed it in, but he did come in pick it up. So, he came in tried to pick it up under Eric because that's what the order was under, which we already knew about it. We're just going to call you guys when he gets here, right? So, we just told him to go and um but anyways, the three payments that are on there, which I could I'm sure I could print off the three different ones. Here's one of them. One's for a 3140, one was for $1, one was for $10. Mhm. And I told her to just cancel her card because if he's doing little amounts all around doing whatever he wants. Yeah. Who knows? How many other people have? Right. Right. You have every every fraudulent transaction there, right? I was so I didn't want to refund them yet. I'm going to refund her cuz obviously she wasn't the one who made the charges, but she said she's never heard of him, never met him, doesn't know. Eric for the case. You got more than those. Was that all? Is that all the No, this is just one. There's one for this. There's one for $110. But the thing is it's for e gift cards. So the $110 $10 they were buying a gift card for themselves or whoever. They're buying a gift card with with her credit card and then they just use the they use the gift card which is theirs. So then it's not tied. It's then theirs. So the female didn't come in here and she doesn't talking about the female outside. No, she No, no, she stay in the car. Yeah, that I have no idea who that is. Yeah, she stayed in the car the whole time. He came in and he asked it be 15 minutes. The only other went back into the only other thing I could think of is if that girl is, you know, Diana, she's saying, "Oh, I don't know who's using my card." Then they're getting their stuff for free. Maybe she has Yeah, I got to talk to her. Maybe she maybe she has connections with the female, right? But she does she doesn't know. And Eric, the main female whose card this actually is. No idea who like you said. Unless that female is the one calling this trying to get free, right? Which seems like a weird way to get a free just this girl says she doesn't live in Georgia. Um, your info again. Alec last name. Why would stolen before they got Exactly. And like I said, she verified the amounts without me saying, "Is it this amount, this amount, this amount?" Right. She just got an alert on her phone for these payments being used and then she called me before they even showed up. Right. Uh agent. Um and do we have her date of birth? I don't have her date of birth. No. Okay. And then that's the uh the transaction. So this is just one of them cuz there's also one for a dollar, one for 10. All on the same card within the last hour. So there's three transactions. Yes. While the cops gathered details about the woman, a second officer searched the vehicle once more, uncovering a small stash of cash and drugs. April. Yes. April like the most. Yep. What? Your license? No, I'm from New York. Okay. What's up? I have a couple questions. Yeah. Yeah. So, I got all her info. Yeah. I can't tie I can't tie I think I'm going to have to let the girl go cuz I can't tie her to Well, yeah. I mean, he's he's getting all this final transaction. Yeah. Um, so he had a little bit pocket and then there was some THC gummies found in the center console. Okay. Um, he has $168 of cash. Uh, why is that sec? Oh, you put that in there. Yeah. Okay. This was on him, right? The little California. Yes. And then that was in the center console. Okay. Cuz this is how they came. They cut up. came one car each. Yeah. Have they been pulled up like this? Like cut off this entrance? Yes. They cut off this entrance? Yes. I watched them that I didn't see. If I seen the entrance was cut off, babe. But you But you didn't pay attention. I didn't see all that. I didn't want to keep looking. I only seen You only seen one car when you said so much. You said so much police. I didn't want to keep looking hot. But if I would have I should have just looked one time. You should You would have peeped the thing. You would have peaked that was cut off and we would have left. I'm like, I'm not worried about you. That's literally what it was. Cuz if I was really being paranoid like that, I would have kept on going and then I'm let it go. I just I like No, no, no. Don't roll up the windows. Listen, babe. [Applause] Oh my god. Please, please. No, no, no. Like rolling up the windows though. I can't relax. [Applause] Okay. So, listen.
