All right, good morning. I forgot to do a couple settings on my stuff. So, hold on, y'all. Sorry. I I was hitting the button. I said, "Uh oh, one second." Um, but in the meantime, this is a commentary reaction uh video to body cams. It is not just the raw body cam, but all body cams are linked in the description box. So, you don't have to stay for the commentary if that's not your thing. This is more like a watch along interactive type thing. Okay. Okay. Hold on. Here we go. Sorry. Okay. Here we go. Live is so different from uploading. All right. So, the first one we have, this is all shoplifterss. Um, I had another shoplifting one for y'all that someone suggested, but the way it ended, I was like, "Oh, no. This needs to be his own thing or more go towards like a crooked cop type compilation." Okay, so the first one is recording shoplifting arrest backfires when man gets charged with shoplifting himself. This is Blue Line Lens. as a routine investigation into a shoplifting turned into a major arrest when a man recording the scene made terroristic threats and was then found with illegal narcotics. Here's what occurred. Return. He's been hitting every day. He was here this morning. He >> was here this morning stealing also. $400 this morning. Another guy standing here for outside. Can I talk to you? >> Okay. One one thing. >> Um time. Did he take something? No. >> No, I didn't take nothing. Anybody time you have the seat ready or >> I'm just ready. He took a video and he's still in all of us. He's been away from us. >> He should be right now. >> Wait. >> Just two seconds cuz I'm not going to leave my partner here alone. >> We got someone else. Hey, do you have a uh this >> is a shoplifter? Uh but apparently there's a guy on aisle 9 who was recording the whole incident >> just another and is threatening everybody that that he knows when they get out of work and wait outside >> now. How dumb can you be? The police show up to get a shoplifter. You're making a spectacle of yourself recording and you're threatening the employees and you're stealing too. I don't know how much more stupid you can get. with the customers. >> That's all right. >> Yeah, we'll talk right now. Yeah. >> That's him. >> I did not thank nobody. I did not say nothing. >> No, I did not. >> No, I didn't. All I did was push it right here to where it belong. >> Eating food in the store. >> What food did I eat? What food did I eat? >> Okay, let's just hang out. Just Just come over here with us. >> Sir, >> you're being detained right now until we investigate whether or not you eat. >> I didn't do anything. I'll explain it to you, but you're going to come over here with us so that we could go we could review some camera footage and find out what's going on. >> Eat anything, bro. >> You didn't eat anything? I'm investigating the entire incident. >> Said you threatened her. >> I didn't threaten nobody. >> Okay. So, I want to control I want to make sure everybody is off to the side. >> All I did was record what they were saying to him. >> Okay. What happened when they when they were talking to him, bro? It'll >> be on the bottom right up there. a female. >> It didn't stay. >> It didn't stay. I was waiting. I said, "Let me wait cuz sometimes they might find something." This man ain't got nothing on that phone that's gonna help him. I was like all that scrolling. Ain't nothing on that gonna help you. Go back to your phone. What about your phone? You record it with your other phone. >> I bet he's real quiet compared to how he was acting before the police showed up. Real subdued right now. There you go. Matter if I see it. All right. Awkward. And then he was like, "Oh, I'm not recording. I'm not record." I said, "I'm recording." That's all I said. Then you giving him blows and everything. That's my stuff. She said that I eat something. I didn't even I got my food stamps and everything. I was about to pay everything. She said, "Oh, freeze everything because he's not going to pay him." >> That's how I was about to shrimps in here. >> We see the smart water. >> I came in here. >> I saw you, man. I'm telling you, I don't make stuff up. I saw you eating a donut. I seen you with >> a donut. This I can't >> this morning. I seen you concealing the bag. I seen you with the shrimp. Where you dropped the shrimp? >> I didn't have no shrimp. >> Dang. He was really dying. I thought they was okay. I Okay. I was like, was he in the fruit aisle? Cuz you know some people they don't get it. Like you you can't just go in there eating the grapes talking about you going to pay for it later. I mean most stores in the south they might let you get away with it a little bit but they don't really do that as much anymore. Especially if it's not like a smaller town or older person that's doing it. But they said that man had donuts and shrimp. God talk. >> But where you threw it? That's my question. Meat. >> I ain't had nothing. Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands covering me. Put your hands behind your back. >> I understand why you cover me. >> Why am I not being cuffed? >> Right now you're being under being placed under arrest for terroristic threats. Tell me the only thing ever. >> The video you just voluntarily showed me, you said I'm going to catch you outside him and avenge you. What's that? >> Oh my god. So he's he let the police hear him threatening those people. I told you ain't in that phone that could help him. >> That means that a threat against somebody video you just showed me. >> I did not say that. >> You just voluntarily >> That was not me. I did not say that. >> Okay. >> I did not say that. It's on the video. >> I did not say that. That was him when he was singing. >> It was you. You said when you were singing. When you were singing. I'm recording to make sure. >> What's in there? What's on here? >> That's a cigarette. >> Is this just a cigarette? >> Just a cigarette. Now I'm wondering if that's his prescription they pulled out of his pocket or if that's somebody else's stuff. And if it's his, was he trying to sell it or was it just something that happened to be in his pocket? >> Was sweating from my head. >> So can you go around? >> You arrested me for nothing. arresting you for terroristic threats and then you have possession of some narc. >> Yeah, it did >> because you saying I make theistic threats and I ain't threatening nobody. >> You just voluntarily showed me the video that as you threatening the employee. >> I didn't. >> You did? by them. >> You saying what? >> I already checked all that. That's good. >> But that was not me. I did not say that. >> That was not me. I did not say that. Bro, >> if you're just coming in, the store pe the store employee said he was shoplifting. Apparently, he ate some donuts, some shrimp, some other stuff. I don't even know if that water was his that that they pulled out cuz that wasn't a regular bottle of water. you know, they ain't like no store brand water. Then, um, they said he was threatening them, right? So, he's like, "Uh-uh, let me show you. I was just recording that other man that was shoplifted because it was a whole different person that got caught shoplifting. They don't know each other, I don't believe." And so, he's like, "Here." And so, he pulls it out. He been scrolling for a while. He pulls out his phone, plays the video for the officer. The officer's listening. On the recording that he handed the police, he is telling them he gonna catch them outside and he's gonna bend them. He was threatening them and he gave the police his phone to prove he threatened them. But he's like, "That wasn't me. I didn't say that. We're going to need a secondary vehicle for transport. >> If we have one available, that'll be great. >> It's funny, right? >> Relax. Relax. Come on. >> Hoboken. Okay. Hoboken. >> What's terrorist? Come on. >> I did not say that, bro. >> I didn't say that. I didn't say that. >> I'm showing you video >> and everything. And you sitting here arresting me for what? Stop touching my arm like that. Yeah. You >> I'm not turning you. Hey uh Duke, >> what are youresting for? My [ __ ] right there. >> Why are you arresting me? >> Okay, that's the other shoplifter in the um black jacket, white t-shirt that they're passing by. And now they both going to jail. >> My [ __ ] right there. together. We can only do one thing. >> What are you arresting me for? >> I didn't anybody. I didn't say anything to you. >> What the [ __ ] you arresting me for, bro? >> Yeah. >> You arrested me for no reason, bro. Every time. >> Have a seat. >> Go around to the other side. B. [ __ ] >> You arrested me for, man? You arrested me for nothing. >> Kim said he was a busy bee in the store. Sharon said that's crazy. At least his stomach is full. That's true. He not going to be hungry. >> I didn't even do anything, bro. Sir, >> you arrested me for nothing, bro. >> I'm asking you a question, man. >> I answered it a couple times already. You're being placed under arrest for terroristic threats. I didn't. >> And then we're going to continue to investigate the shoplifting and then search. >> What's shoplifting? >> I don't know. They're claiming that you shoplifted. So, if that's the case and they have evidence of it, you'll be charged with that. >> Just uh Where's the uh >> Huh? >> There's drugs in here. kept getting a whiff of the PCP when he was talking, but >> dang. Well, that Yeah. Yeah, I can see it. Thing kind of just smells like a like a grape wrapper. You guys processing a restaurant? No, this first >> smell what I smell. kind of smells like a little bit. Yeah. >> Here's the thing. I want to know this is what I I always am very curious about social interactions between people. So like that cop, the first cop that asked, "Do you smell what I smell?" I do believe he smells for sure whatever he thinks he's smelling. Right? When he asked the second cop, "Do you smell what I smell?" That second cop kept sniffing and sniffing. The second cop didn't name what he smelled, but he just said, "Yes, it smells like it. I want to know. Does he know what it smells like? And is he thinking the same thing the other cop is thinking? Or did he just say that cuz he don't smell what he smell, but he don't want to admit he's not able to catch on to what it smells like. >> Yeah, I think it's just a little bit. You can see it. See it? there. Now it's discolored. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> He has a blue bike up there that's not changed up to the fence. >> Yeah. >> All uh one of you guys go in there with him. >> I'll go with uh Don't worry about that, sir. >> I know. I'll hold it on my lap. You >> going with you, sir? learn to do outside, right? >> We'll get you out of here soon. >> You [ __ ] with terrorist. Where you going to get me out to? >> H >> Where you going to get me out? >> That way. Oh, you want me to get it or you want me to first open the door for y'all? And >> All right. >> You You have the key, right, sir? >> You have your key. >> I'm about to lock the whip. >> I got it. >> All right. put their hands around my cigarette. My cigarette was in my ear. >> You got bigger problems than that cigarette. And from what they saying, I mean, it didn't look like a cigarette either. It definitely looked hand rolled and just I don't know. It looked really raggedy. All right. Y took a picture. >> I got you [ __ ] with y'all. >> Yeah, it's not me. >> Who was it? for you. >> When I take uh the cuff off, please. Oh my god, he in the same room with the shoplifter he was recording. Oh my gosh. I guess I should have known it was the same police department that arrested them, so obviously. But they in the same room. Oh, this is funny. >> It's in there, sir. The s whatever. Oh, yeah. You >> take this one already, son. I got one. >> Oh, so comes out. >> Spread your legs. I don't Okay, they out here shoplifting and somebody got a pair of Jordans on the priorities. Crazy to me. And then I'm like, if those are real, they s they sitting up here ripping the tongue out. Or was that? No, that's not the tongue. That's the soul or whatever. Boy, I just know that hurts their hearts. You just take the sweater off. Yeah. No, no. >> That came out the shoe. >> I was about to say my pocket. >> I was like, big dog. >> You got You got him. We got him. >> It's going to be a long 30 years. Yeah. Here you go, big dog. >> I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. I got you. Put it back on. All right. >> The man was charged with terroristic threats, shoplifting, and multiple drug offenses before being transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Please leave a com. >> They ain't even focus on the initial shoplifter. Look, that's what you get. And then you calling people fat bees and bothering them at their jobs, stealing all kinds of stuff. That's on you. That's on you. Now, hopefully February, >> I know um Michigan is good for it, you know. Hopefully there's like a rehab program they'll put you in for the for the drug stuff. You know, it's it's better for treatment than anything to it's better to get treatment, but you know, all the other stuff that's on you. Nobody tell you to threaten them people or or eat eat their shrimp. That was on you. Okay. This one says the moment her shoplifting plans ends in disaster. >> 7th, 2025. I don't do anything. >> You speak English just fine. >> Give me a sec. Speak to speak to her. >> Talk to me. I want to steal. I want to steal. >> She's saying she she's saying she was going to get money from her car. >> I always come here. >> I'm going to go run the car real quick. >> Did you walk outside without paying? Right. >> Oh, she passed. >> Yeah. >> You walked outside, right, without paying? >> I I understand you like >> you're offering to pay now, but you already did it. >> It already happened, so I can't go back in time. >> Is your wallet in your house? >> Yes. Your wallet is at your house. >> So, you want to get complaints? >> Where's your money? At the house here. >> You're taking money. >> Where's your money? Yes. And I I always Okay. How do I chis? They are like, you understand more than you're given into, and you know where you live. And they are not they're just not buying it. This helpless. I was going to go get moneym >> this one. That one. Which where you live? >> I have a ticket. >> I don't have any felony complaints. So I just said I'll sign on their behalf or I'll come back and bring it and they'll say >> what are you doing? What are you doing for me? >> It's our job. >> I'm going to saving the world. >> What are you doing for me? I want to buy one. I want to buy this girl. He shared to me that's okay. I went to I said to him he returned to me. I said I went to his money. >> So you walked out with the groceries to go get your money to come back and pay. >> She didn't know if she had enough. I want I want you to take me. >> I want to buy you. Why you put it back? Why? >> Ma'am, it's over with this. I wanted to buy it. Blah blah blah. It's over with. The wrist jewelry's out. You understood that? >> No, no, no. >> That's another thing that people do that are getting searched. I don't have anything on me. I'm good. You don't have to check. Yeah, they have to check because how are they going to believe you? First of all, you was just stealing. So, you could have something else you stole on you. But yeah, they they're going to check you. Your word is not good enough. Stop moving. Go get the car. Go get the car. >> Sure. I don't have anything on you yet. You heard us. >> I don't know what to do. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> I She had to search you and we're going to have to process it. >> This not her first time. She knows what under arrest is. >> Separate your feet. >> Separate your feet. >> Two hours. Two hours. >> I don't know what I said. >> You'll be okay. You'll be okay. Don't worry. It's okay. I think it's coming when I was youpar. That or not? >> What is it? Red Buick. >> What? >> What? What car do you drive? >> Ford. >> Ford. Not not Ford. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You know what color? >> White Ford. >> White Ford. Truck. Car. Big car or small car. >> You have a shirt on under the >> big big white Ford. >> You don't have a shirt on. Just a bra. >> Bra. Okay, >> this is probably the most thorough search I have seen. She is not missing anything. >> All right, step on in here. >> This way. Look that way. I got >> Can you search really quick? >> Turn this way. >> Don't doing anything wrong. >> Okay. >> Why he send me this? I do style. Why style? Why still >> Why? >> In the end, officers were left trying to figure out whether this was an honest mixup or a calculated move. >> I'm tell right now it was a calculated move. Um, I'm not for sure, but the state of her dental care gave me she also has a substance issue and so I I feel like the, you know, the money might not be there, whether she's trying to support her habit or just because she did she already supported her habit, she didn't have the money for food, but it's something going on there. Like, let me see if he said anything else. Did she truly misunderstand the process or was she hoping she could slip out unnoticed and play it off if she got caught? Share your thoughts in the >> Yeah, I definitely think she was playing it off. It's not especially with the she could under Nah, I think the cops instincts were right on that one. Okay, this one was sent to me because who was this? Was this I can't remember who sent it, but they said uh smartmouth cops. You know, I like I like a good old smartmouth cop. So, that's what this is. When I go back in my favorites, I'll see it again. But, um, it says Cole's heist fell. Three suspects caught in the middle of their plan. Now, it's going to start off a little chaotic because this guy in the thumbnail on the left was doing too much. Uh, he picked up the officer's equipment and was running with it or something like, but he he was trying to help. He was feeling gung-ho like he was the the um a ride along. He's not a ride along, but I'm just saying he was he was in the mix too much. So when this starts off and y'all hear the cop cussing at him, that's why >> again, I'll [ __ ] whoop your ass. You understand me? Where did her Where did her [ __ ] bag go? >> I didn't want it to get lost. It could the other officer. I didn't want it to get lost, dude. I'm sorry. >> What? Why did he grab you? What the [ __ ] >> Get your [ __ ] ass over there before I yell at you. [ __ ] do that [ __ ] again to me for the last time you [ __ ] work here. All right, there's a lot of text on the screen. It says, "On June 24th, 2023, deputies from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a Kohl's department store after staff reported three suspects attempting to steal multiple items. Store employees told deputies the group tried to leave with unpaid merchandise, leading to a confrontation as law enforcement arrived on scene. over. >> Where's the other go? Hey, >> where's the other one? You got her. Where'd she go? Oh [ __ ] [ __ ] Oh, there she is. I can't get my [ __ ] phone to work. I call 911. I can't Oh, okay. Okay. Thank you. >> So, I believe this guy has a cop's camera right now. This is not a cop. This is a body cam of that a cop owns, but this is not a cop that's currently holding it. I'm going to head back in the store, sir. Yeah. Yeah. He had no purpose holding that body cam. He should have immediately handed it to a cop as soon as it dropped. Here's your body cam. He took the thing to film his himself where he was running to and what he was doing. Yeah. There's no reason. It's one thing to pick it up again to say, "Hey, y'all dropped this." But he took it on a little mini joy ride. I can't get the words out. Joy ride. They got her, >> bro. They got the other one that back. >> Yeah. >> You [ __ ] grab my body cam and run away like that [ __ ] again, I'll [ __ ] whoop your ass. >> Do you understand me? Where did her Where did her [ __ ] bag go? >> I didn't want it to get lost. It was the other officer. I didn't want it to get lost, dude. I'm sorry. >> What? Why did he grab your What the [ __ ] >> Get your [ __ ] ass over there before I yell at you. [ __ ] do that [ __ ] again to me for the last time you [ __ ] work here. >> He grabbed nobody again. >> [ __ ] fell on the ground. They decided to take it with him. >> Why would he do that? >> No kidding. >> What the [ __ ] >> So, it's no surprise why we're out here. Listen, it's all on video inside. I'm gonna be straight up with you. I don't like gra and white with people. >> Uhhuh. >> Everything you guys were doing inside was on video camera. >> But we didn't walk out with nothing. >> I know, but you guys are putting all [ __ ] in suitcases and bags and >> still in the statute to read. You can't temporarily deprive somebody of their property. You guys concealing this [ __ ] You're still temporarily >> I didn't conceal nothing. It was in a shopping bag. >> Okay. >> Shopping bag. >> All right. I didn't put [ __ ] in nowhere. >> All right. Which uh which car out here is your guys'? >> Huh? >> Which car out here is your guys'? I don't have We didn't have a car. We lived here. >> Okay. How did you guys get here? >> We lived here. >> You like What do you mean? Like an Uber? Like a lift? >> Uber. >> All right. Whose phone did you use to do that? >> Mine. >> Not yours. >> Yeah. >> All right. Is it more comfortable to stand up or? >> No, I'm straight. >> All right. Take that off. Have a seat in the corner. >> Hi, manager. >> How are you? >> I was in my black Jeep. >> Okay. What's your name? Tell me what's your name? >> Spell it. >> T A M E S H A. >> T A M E S H A. >> Yeah. Dave, >> how'd you get here? >> You would know down there. >> Where's your car? >> That's car. >> Where's the car? >> It's me. >> What kind of car is it? >> Oh, it's a black car. I don't know. >> It's a black car. >> Yeah, I just got >> Now, she said she ordered a lift and now the car is down somewhere in the parking lot. The other girl is saying that a car is down in the parking lot. >> SUV. You just got in it? >> Yeah, I just got in. I just got picked up. >> You don't know these guys? >> Yeah, I saw those. My cousin. I just got >> Oh, they're they're cousins. So, you know what they drive? >> Isn't the car? >> What car? It's 90 cars. Which one? >> You want me to show it to you? >> Just point it out. >> That black car right there. >> Which one? The one that in the handicap spot. >> Yeah. Bought the handicap spot. >> Huh? Is it a Kia? >> No, it's not a Kia. >> Or is it an SUV behind it? >> It's like I don't know. It's over there. >> I believe so. 214. Do you have yours? >> CI1. She's pointing out a black car by the handicap on the left by PetSmart. Either the SUV or the Kia uh as their vehicle. Two rows to your right. Two rows to your right. >> Is it an SUV or a car? It's >> a car. >> Yeah. Is that by a handicap or parked in a handicap? It's black. And she's telling me they're out of Lehigh Acres. 205 Central. Copy one. I want a jug and thank you. >> Yep. >> For what? >> Retail that >> what I what I stole though. >> Well, probably the purse for one. >> Huh? >> Probably the purse for one. >> I walked in there with that purse. >> You didn't bring that in. >> Yes, I did. You can watch the cameras. I walked in there with that purse. >> Well, you got nothing in it. No ID. >> Okay. I walked in there with >> Why did you bring a purse in there? >> That's my purse. >> Why did you bring a purse? It's emptying. >> It's nothing in that purse. >> I know. Why'd you bring a purse? >> Cuz I could bring a purse and I >> Cuz you're stealing stuff with it. I ain't never put nothing in the pond. >> That's okay. You're all You're all together. >> You're all together. >> They ain't even get nothing. So what's the problem? >> Oh, really? >> No. >> Are you sure about that? >> Yeah. I seen them when they walked out. They They ain't never got nothing. >> That's okay. Don't worry. I guess you don't know the law too much. >> Once you start hiding stuff throughout the store, it's called stealing. And it's all on camera, so it's gone. >> What? Hey, you didn't touch anything in the store? Nothing. Find that hard to believe. >> He ain't even touching me. The man he ran nothing up to. >> Mhm. How did I know to stop you? >> Oh, cuz he said he said stop stop me. Who? >> Who? >> The man. The man that when he was when I was walking out the door, he was right there. >> I cannot I can't go to jail, bro. >> Why do people say that? But then they do stuff that'll get you put in jail. Why steal? That's the thing. That's the thing. She was convinced that it was the first thing she said when he said y'all were stealing. She said, "We didn't walk out the store with anything. We left it all in there. You still stole. You concealed. Um you can't do that. You probably walked by all points of sale most likely. And even if you didn't, he said the concealing was enough. So like you have to not don't don't commit a crime if you can't go to jail." And then when they say I can pay for it, why didn't you just pay for it in the beginning then? >> Yeah, it's not their car. That was an elderly white thing that came out of PetSmart. >> She going to tell you about how warranty. Yeah. >> So, it's 100% your name and everything though. >> Yeah. I swear to God that's I ain't going to lie to you about my name cuz I know that's another charge. >> Yeah. I don't know why you tried to run away like >> he need me for something. >> Nope. You're good. >> Okay. >> Sorry about that. >> Okay. >> Cuz I didn't have [ __ ] So like why why is I'm getting detained if I didn't walk out the store with nothing? >> Yeah, but let me give have a second to discuss it with you, tell you, and and you're on your way. Right. But now I'm telling you right now, that's probably going to be a charge right there. He was trying to run. >> Oh my god. >> You have an all black one. Which purse was yours? All black with like gold. >> No, >> all black. It was a purse on the floor. >> Like an all black one, right? Well, did your did your Who was that? Your cousin or your your friend? >> That was my cousin. >> Did she have a purse with her, too, or No. >> No, I don't think. >> All right. shot. Come over this way. We got another water there, buddy. >> Yeah, it's just two bags. >> All right. Yeah, we're going to have a good conversation with that uh that LP. Dude, my body can't hit the ground right there. Right in front of my car. I grabbed her. I go to go pick it up and he took it with [ __ ] running with it. >> You want to put it in the car? >> Yes. >> Yeah. So, we're going to go around to the other side. Passenger side. >> All right. Come on. Let's not get wet. Come on. You don't want to spend the whole day in your wet clothes. I don't want to spend whole night day in wet clothes either. 104. You just have to grant that. 10. >> You're on probation. >> Mhm. >> How much was your bond? >> What? Fly for what? >> Oh, you're on probation. Never mind. How long How long you on probation for? >> You don't know. >> You should know how long you're on probation because if you do something against your probation, it's even worse for you. So, you need to know how long you're on probation. She probably knows. She just don't want to make conversation or something cuz that's pretty crucial. >> Well, it's grand theft. So, did you get a year, two years? >> Leia's grandma said that cop ain't chasing after nobody. 5 years. >> I don't know. >> You just got on it two days ago. You don't remember how long you're on probation for? >> No, I'm not. >> Girl, two days ago you were on probation. She has to know. She just don't want to say. >> Okay. So, that car you pointed out ain't the car. So, which car is it? >> I don't know. Didn't they go to the car? >> It never made it. Nothing in it attempted. No ID. She's >> huh? >> It's all inside still. >> So that's what I'm trying to find out. Amy's come out and talk to us. >> So I had I had a caller and have him come out here. Hey, she just went on probation two days ago for Grand Theft, >> huh? >> Arrest me and put me in the car. >> No, I'll detain you. Just stand right there. >> Why you getting wet? >> No point to standing up to jail. Ain't he pass all? >> Doesn't matter on you. You still don't know the law. >> Apparently not. >> What? >> Yep. As soon as they total it all up and you're going to get a VOP. >> Oh, that's fine. But I still ain't either. >> Yeah. Okay. You're here. >> Huh? >> Shop down Lee County. Don't shop up here. >> Okay. >> We don't want you stealing it from here. Steal down there. Stay down there and steal if you're going to steal. You are a thief. You already been convict. You already been convicted as a thief. >> Okay. It don't matter. >> It does matter. >> Okie dokie. Say it again. >> Even though the book is going to stand and watch. >> All right. >> In this case, they acted fully. >> Yeah. We're going to go have a good talk with Matthew. My body cam fell off and he decided to take it and went [ __ ] running after the other person with my body cam in her bag. Dang. Grand Theft. Oh, Lord. Yeah, he ain't letting that go with Matthew. He ain't playing. But no, that is right cuz if it Okay, the body cam fell right in front of his car. He noticed it. He's going to grab it. Matthew picks it up and instead of turning around and handing it to him, Matthew runs after the other person to see, I guess, if they actually get caught and then runs back. Why didn't you just get that man his body cam? You can still run. That ain't your body cam. What do you need to run with a body cam for? It wasn't like he was chasing the cop that dropped it to make sure he got it. You left the cop behind that dropped it. >> They find anything. It's It's a felony charge for introduction of contraband. Okay. >> All right. I just tell everybody that give him a little, you know, chance. Go on the grass. Yeah. Carefully. >> Huh? >> So, what y'all do with my other friend? Uh, we're going to actually come to this side. >> Do you want to see if here? >> Yeah, please check just in case. I mean, I don't >> I have no idea what's going on in there. I understand that you guys were now you're physically arrested for theft. All I'm doing is transporting you to the jail. I I have no idea the details or anything like that. What's happening with your friends? I don't know. Most likely they'll be arrested. Okay. So, do you have any drugs or weapons on you, ma'am? Okay. >> It's funny when they look so inconvenienced. You're out there shoplifting, doing your thing, and then it's inconvenient because you got caught doing something you weren't supposed to be doing. >> Okay. Thank you. So, I want to check my car. Make sure there's no drugs, nothing in there. And then you go in there and that protects you. >> What's your first name? >> She's already been checked many times, I guess, but just in case before she gets transported. >> I met her earlier, so >> Thank you. Okay. She had to use the restroom and we were in there. So, there's probably not >> Okay. >> much on her, but we'll let her check and then she can be on her way. >> It's been a long day, huh? >> Do you know how the other >> She came in like a like a school teacher. It's been a long day, huh? Ma'am, she's going to jail. She Oh my god, she's so cheery. You know, you don't always get that. So, I appreciate I don't I actually been out trying to call if they transport the other girls out. >> Not yet. I understand you're the first transport >> and uh I'm not we're not sure what happened to the other. >> You were in the one room so the other one must be in the other room still. And >> there was three of them. >> Yeah, there was three of you. I asked the other girls if they needed to use the rest. You have anything inside your bra on or no bra? That makes it easy. And those are no pocket pants. So that makes it even easier. >> I already explained the contraband and she says >> she doesn't do drugs. She doesn't have any on her. >> Well, that's No. And she, like I said, she was in the bathroom with me and she went to the bathroom earlier. So, she's not going to >> Dang, they already put the shirt on her. I see it says Charlotte. It says Charlotte something on the back of her shirt. I when they put the shirt on her Charlotte County jail. Wow. >> Did you get up at 6:30? >> All right, honey. You're all set. >> Thank you, ma'am. >> Yep. So, put your hands together and kind of find that that sweet spot there. So, you can lean back. >> Okay. And I'm going to buckle you in. >> Oh, hell no. That [ __ ] going to hurt. >> Cuz this is already too >> This one right here. >> Okay. So, listen. If you spread your arms a little bit like this, just kind of raise them up. There you go. Just like that. >> It's still going to hurt. >> Then don't lean back. >> I got to do >> Yeah. Um Kim has said earlier though they make sure those cop cars are uncomfortable. Them seats do they sound hard. The space is tight. Then you got to sit there with your hands behind your back still cuffed up. Yeah. Just more reasons not to do this. Oh. You tell that fat baldhead ass men. >> Sorry, ma'am. >> The fat man in there, the little short ball. >> I don't understand what you're saying. >> I said the short baldhead man. What's his name? >> I don't know what short ball man you're talking about, but >> no. >> Okay. >> Corporal. >> Corporal. Okay. >> Okay. Ashley said maybe she was wearing the shirt when she got out on probation. If she wore that shirt when she got out on probation and then into that store to shoplive, there's just no hope for for her. There's no hope. All right. Oh, let me see. Did it say Okay, it didn't say anything else. It's just got the disclaimer on there. All right. This woman, I'm just going to read the title and you'll see it. It's a short one. It says shoplifter thought her plan was genius until she got to the exit. >> Behind it as well. >> Oh, I have a plant here. >> Sorry about that. >> Anything in the box? >> No, it's empty. >> Might fill up. >> Police arrive at a Target after loss prevention notices a woman using a large unpurchased gray storage bin that she's placed in her cart to hide numerous unpaid items inside. She's still inside Target and has not stolen any items yet, but this raises questions on if she's broken any laws. This puts police and loss prevention who are waiting outside into a disagreement on how to handle her. >> They still in >> Yeah, they're still inside. He wants to know if uh you'll move your car so that when they come outside, I think we're just going to go in. I'm going to >> They're actively trying to conceal. >> I'm not good with that. If they're actively trying to conceal, that's 82 all day long. >> They're actively trying to conceal. >> Our boss and like our Target guidelines, we unfortunately can't really have y'all just go in there and grab them all. They have to bypass for us. >> So they're actively trying to conceal something. That is a crime. >> But for Target, they want them to cuz we >> So you want us to wait for them to come outside? >> Yeah. So I can tell you like I'm not I'm not We'll work with you guys, but I'm not hiding my car and having to chase somebody. >> Like that's not what I'm going to do. Like No, that's not how we roll. >> They're putting it into a storage bin that that's like our purchased yet. >> Sure. >> But the odds are >> statistically. So, what do these jokers look like? >> Maybe mid30s top and pink bottom one. And then yellow top. >> Bright bright color. right there. >> Moments later, loss prevention stops the first of the two suspects with a cart full of halfpaid items. >> Try baiting and stuff. >> Okay. Well, we can talk about this. >> All right. That was number one, but number two is who made the thumbnail. So, where's the other one? >> Where's the other one? >> I think yellow right there. >> Thinking she has the green light, her sister hops behind a selfch checkckout register and pays for a few items. Only seconds later, officers are shocked to see what she's about to try. >> No. >> She She was She was gonna run. >> Yeah, that's exactly right. Ashley J said Target like we not getting sued. We want to slam dunk in court, right? Because you know they they can be like I was definitely going to pay. Y'all didn't even let me get to the point to try to pay and now once you pass all those points of sale there's no more questions. >> I like that you shaved your head again. >> Bro, no you didn't. You got to fade this boy. You got to you got to fade it. >> Let me do it for you. I'll come to your house and I'll >> Yellow ones involved. They got one girl who's already with loss prevention now. They stopped her, but yellow one was involved. One of the problem shots that walked out, put some stuff up there. She only paid for one thing. She knew she got caught. >> This one was part of them, too. >> The one in the yellow was part of them. >> Now, now here's my question. You see those officers right there? You still about to try to roll your shopping cart out past them? Why? I'm not. You only have a slim chance if you left the cart or did something else, but you actually going to sit there and try to take the cart. At least your defense attorney can maybe help you if you never take the cart. But she's taking it. >> Oh, no. I'm sorry. You can keep it already. I already >> What about the thing underneath it behind it as well? >> Oh, I have a plant back here. Yes. Sorry about that. Thank you. >> Anything in the box? >> No. Mind >> if I look. >> Look at her face. She thought that was going to work. She's He said mind if I look this her face. Yeah, you caught. You are caught. >> That is not empty. >> Oh, >> come on. >> Tried to walk out with that. >> Yeah, you got me. Who thought that? >> God dang. >> Look at that. >> It's full. I know. >> Is it full? >> Oh, yeah. It's full. >> Look at that, >> bro. What the >> moving? >> Come on. >> Wait, wait, wait, wait. I pay for these, though. Can I >> Oh, yeah. That's going to sit there. That's going to sit there. >> Can I get my phone? >> No, you can wait. >> Why not? >> All righty. Go ahead and sit right there. She trying to walk out with a whole bin of clothes. >> I paid for both of them. >> Did you see that? Her sister was ready to be like, uh, you know, why y'all have us sit here? And then she gave her that look like, you are so stupid. Look at her sister's face. The one with the two buns on her head. Watch. Watch her face. And they said she tried to walk out. >> She tried to walk out with a whole bin of clothes. >> I paid for both of them. >> So you paid for the third. >> Oh, she she got a bunch of stuff. like she returned. She dropped a bunch of stuff off. She's like, "I can't afford this." She's like, "I can't afford this." She walked out with one black box. >> So, your friends going to be waiting on y'all for a while. >> Well, you're you're going to jail. So, >> I'm going to jail. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Where you from? >> I'm not from here. >> All right. So, where you from? >> Georgia. >> Okay. What's your name? >> How many kids you got? >> Just one. >> Just one? >> Yeah. >> They going to miss their moment or not when you in jail? >> Nah, I'mma get out tomorrow. >> I don't think so. in your mouth. I was like, "No, let's go." >> Um, >> wait. >> Oh my gosh. >> We're going to go and >> Oh my. >> This is so dumb. This is so dumb. I bet it it's stuff in here like when people mature and they want a better career. Now you have this history and then it's for stupid stuff and it's just like why couldn't you just get something little by little if you liked it. There's so why why and this is not I'm going to laugh at you but I don't understand how you think this is funny because these are mistakes and it's not going to be her it's probably not her first time. It's probably not gonna be her last time for a little while. And for what? Trinkets. >> It's over $750. It's a felony. >> Really? See tomorrow morning? All right. >> What's your name? >> Okay. So, you stay in Georgia, but you got a Florida driver's license. >> No, I got a driver's license, >> bro. It's right here. >> That's invalid. I don't use that. >> Okay. Where's your Georgia one? Right here. Why do you have two? Why do you have two? >> I don't know. I just have two. I always have had two. >> You want to add her? When I moved from Vegas, >> all the way to Florida Jacksonville, too. >> I don't have nothing. I've never been in trouble with the law. This is my first time getting in trouble. >> Damn, you got to stop me, too, man. Come on now. >> So, what's the story with yours? You you got food and then you had some random like the bedding and the towels and stuff like what? >> I >> So, you'll probably go to jail for um Did you tally up that dollar amount yet? >> No. Yeah, they're calculating it outside. >> Okay. If it's below 750, you'll go on a misdemeanor >> and you'll be able to punch baller. >> You'll be all right. >> Where's your other sister? >> It's probably where she at. >> Oh, man. >> So, you said this is your first time. You never gone to another Target before? >> No. >> No. >> And to justify her actions, she explains her specific reasons for stealing. I'm not really a thief, you know. I just didn't want to pay pay my rent. I want to make that clear. I don't just steal for a living, you know. Hey, put my $4 in my purse. >> So, she was boosting cuz she said she got to pay her rent. So, she was going to get it to resale. >> I get out. I can uh >> Is that with or without tax? >> They going to take my [ __ ] $40. Put it towards the bond. >> Okay. And that's for the tote. >> I paid for the tote. I actually paid for that. So, you paid for the tote that held the stolen merchandise? >> No, I won't call it that. >> Um, that's exactly what you did. There's nothing else to call it. Jacqueline said it's a family affair. And it is just just embarrassing. >> Plus, I mean, if I'm get in trouble, like, at least I don't play around, man. If I'm get in trouble, don't make I'm not going to be one of them people that's in the mud shop looking ugly. >> You ever been You ever been to jail? >> Yeah. ju not jail. Was it for theft? >> No, it wasn't actually. It was for out of my boyfriend. >> Lord have mercy. >> Yeah. >> Oh, it made it been him. >> Yeah. >> I got to ask. Did you go to Sandalwoods? >> No, I didn't go to Sandalwood. >> You live? >> My people My people uh they live by it, but I I didn't go there. No, I ended up going to like five different high schools. >> Okay. Cuz that I used to live nearby there, too. I I seen your Florida license. >> Yeah. >> My high school like Yeah. >> Yeah. You went to Sandwood? >> I did. >> You did? You had Bosik D. Bosik. Was he there by then? >> I graduated 2014. >> He definitely wasn't there then. Y'all probably in the same class. >> Like, but I was the oldest one in there. I was 20 years old. >> Damn. So, she she's going to go under. She's going to go on under. >> Dang. I wonder what his story was to be 20 years old. He got his life turned around, though. So, you know, it is what it is. >> Yeah. Pink. What about >> she's going on felony? I'm going to take them both. >> Uh, can you just grab >> the receipts? Shoot me a picture of it. Hey, you you want to trespass? >> Yes. Uh, one year. >> Y'all can't come back for a year. >> Um, so go ahead and stand up for me. >> Sure. >> No, no, you can. You got to go somewhere else and steal. >> No, I don't have to steal wherever I go. I still >> Because I'm moving. Did I just tell you gave them the whole >> hands together like you're praying? >> What? >> That's cool though. That's fine. >> That's fine. She She cool with a felony. >> No, I'm not cool with felony at all. Not on my record. >> That's all county is too. >> But you know, like I got to be fine with it, you know, cuz I didn't I paid the price. That's what it is. >> She's cool with the felony like >> No, I'm not I'm not cool with it. I don't want to. Okay. >> Uh yeah. Yeah. It's on the back of your phone, right? >> Your ID or your EBT? >> Yeah. No one really wants to play around with you. I know. Fine. You keep it jokey joky cool. You know, it's better than you trying to fight them and stuff like that. But yeah, everybody don't see the sense of humor because this sounds stupid. It sounds so silly. >> And it's a felony now. You can't you can't have a weapon to protect yourself. You can't be around people with weapons. You can't if you if she's actually convicted, can she vote? I don't know. Some states are starting to let people vote again if they're a convicted felon. Um but there's so many restrictions on your life because of some stuff you stole from Target. Yeah, it's not that it's you know for you. They probably look at you like what's funny to you? We we might see some funny but what is funny to you? You are altering your life on some silly stuff. Now most of the time it seems like if when people do body cam follow-ups the charges get reduced and take complete deal and stuff like that, but that's a crazy risk to take. I wouldn't do it. And then they already say the sentences are harsher for black and brown people. You don't always get those reduced charges. So you really can't rely on that. That's weird to me. But go on ahead. >> My idea. >> I'm gonna give you a purse. You're going to carry your purse out. You understand? >> Okay. >> I didn't say turn back around. >> Okay. But I mean, >> all right. Now you turn. >> My car My car is still >> All right. Now, we're going to go this way. >> Wait, wait, wait. They're my phones. You can put them in here. >> Get them. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You can put my phone in her bag. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. >> How hold the purse and walk out at the same time. >> You d ain't my father. You about to give me [ __ ] >> property in jail? >> No. >> Huh? >> That's a return. >> We know we ain't going to get the property in. >> Tell them to put it on a uh Target gift card. >> Is it? >> They already looking at me. What? What I'm going to do? I'm in cuff. Like >> I do it on a gift card >> like a thief. I'm not a thief. I swear to God, y'all. My rent was man. >> You're a thief. You're still a thief. The reason you did it, whatever is a dumb reason for her, but you are a thief. That's a definition. You You stole. You're a thief. What are you talking about? >> I swear to God my was not being words in my head. It's okay, baby. I'mma get you some more. I'm not going to feel it, though. I swear to God. >> I'm serious. Go talk to papa. >> He don't want to talk to me. >> He was looking at me like he did. >> Yeah, he ass clown. >> Go to the right. Go to the right. Go to the right. Go to the right. >> My car is right there at the beetle. >> All right. Stand right there. >> Oh, right here. >> So, they return that stuff and they're still giving you a gift card. >> For real? >> Yeah. They got give you a gift. >> Yeah. She thinks she's looking chill about the situation. And that's exactly right. They looking at you because you're a clown. You're a clown. They're not laughing with you. I promise. >> Oh, wait. They going to give me the gift card for the stuff I bought. >> Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. >> Go across. >> Yeah. Slide all the way through. >> All right. I swear I tried to drop some but it ain't my fault. Hey. Don't be like this. >> I need to get their phone number for the 42. We need I need the other one's name. >> I'm Hold on. >> How do you pronounce your first name? >> I got it. >> What's your name? >> Your mother baldheaded. >> Who is that? I don't know her. >> What's her name? >> With the tally totaled, officers deliver whether this is a misdemeanor or a felony. >> It's like 780 something. But but if they wanted to take the taxes off. I said I don't think it matters like give me the tax. >> It's not like if you going in there you getting taxree like >> Yeah. Let state attorneys figure that problem out. >> You know, let me go see Let me go ask her if they're done. They should be done. >> Okay. >> All right. Do y'all get the receipts yet? >> They're They're still ringing. >> What time did they enter? What time did they enter the store? >> I'll have to double check the cameras, but let me go. >> All right. This is one of their stuff. She's like, "Oh, >> what what did you have for lunch?" Roxan say, "Oh, Chipotle both." Oh, we have the same thing. >> I let y'all have the sink or the bowl. >> I got the bowl. >> All right. They almost done with the receipt. So, hold on. >> Are these receipts? >> Uh, this is the the total receipt for >> the yellow tote. Yeah. >> Yeah. For the tote. And then what's this one? Uh, this is the stuff she paid for. Not on that receipt. Okay. >> They're still working on pinks right now. >> Dang, she tried to >> 3:25 p.m. >> Okay. 3:25. >> And then you guys have that 411. >> All right. 3:25. Anything else? >> Uh, the gift card for that thing. >> They're making it right now. So, yeah, that was the other thing cuz it was like one of the purchases they made was over $200 >> and so we the only concern is like are they going to show out because it's $200 on a gift card as opposed to back to their debit card. Was it on a debit card? Did they purchase with it? >> So, there's some there's some So, there's one receipt. There's EBT. That's a separate transaction. But then there's one where they paid partial cash and then partial debit card. No, it was all debit card. >> Gift card. >> I said gift card. Yeah. >> Okay. >> That way they can go within the evidence. That way they don't have to take all the stuff with them. >> Okay. Got you. I just wanted to get clarification on that. If I didn't want it to go >> Which one's this one? The stuff she paid for. >> This is the stuff she paid for. >> Okay. All right. Let me go give this to Let me go give this to the deputy outside. I'll be right back for the other one. >> This is yellows. >> Yellows? >> Yeah, they're still out. They're working on hers right now. >> I don't understand like why like why are you They're actively concealing. Why can we not run in there and snatch them up? >> That's the point of sale. >> But they're actively concealing. You know what I'm saying? >> But it doesn't mean >> cuz they don't want to be held liable. They they needed to be crystal clear. Target does not want to be held liable. That's the only reason. >> They ain't going to go to the point of sale and pay for it, >> right? >> Doesn't mean they aren't. >> You have to give benefit of the doubt. >> There ain't no benefit of doubt. >> When I grab that tote and you kept walking, I knew there was something in it. >> That got snatched up. Girl, >> um as soon as you get that other one, let me know. >> Yeah, I'll be right back. They're they're finishing up right now and then they're going to give her the gift card for the stuff she bought. Right back. Can we >> Can we get the footage? Are you doing the footage? >> Perfect. >> We have >> just them entering and then concealing. Yeah. Whatever. >> Yeah. Whatever you're doing. Yeah. >> Both women are charged with theft with the one in the pink taking under $750 and the one in the yellow taking $78843. Under Florida statute A12.014. Grand theft is a thirdderee felony with up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. All suspects are innocent until proven. Child, why? For what? All right. Shoplifter thinks a shirt change will change will save him. So, he changed his shirt. Thought that would make them not recognize him. On June 25th, 2025, Flaggler County deputies responded to a shoplifting in progress at Target in Palm Coast, Florida. Employees gave a detailed description of the suspect who fled on foot when they tried to stop him. Deputies quickly spotted a male behind Dollar Tree who matched most of the suspect's description. >> Dog at the sheriff's office. >> We got a report of a gentleman matching your description reference to a possible theft over here at Target. >> Not me. >> Not him. You have your driver's license. >> Yes, I do. >> Real quick, before you reach anything, you have any weapons on your person? >> Just my knife. >> All right. Okay. Don't Don't grab it. Don't grab it. I'll grab that. All right. Just do me a favor. Just put your hands on top of your real quick. Okay. I'm just going to grab that. Okay. Valley. >> So, what's going on today? >> Uh, I'm waiting on I'm waiting on a lift. That's all. That's it. >> You're waiting on a what? >> Just waiting on a lift. Okay, >> that's it. >> Okay. It's badge. >> Yeah, it's evac. Let me see. >> You still work for him? >> No, sir. >> Well, you still had the badge. >> I was allowed to to keep it. >> Yeah. Improper display if you're not evac anymore, right? >> I wasn't displaying it. I was just getting my ID off. I'm sorry. >> I saw it. >> I apologize. >> He just said black and white shoes, jeans, and fresh clothes on. It's just coming from down here. >> We're just standing by. Yeah. If you want to go talk and make sure >> like my lift is literally about to be here in >> Were you at Target today? >> Uh like hour ago. >> Hour ago. >> Yeah. for forever ago. >> 4 minutes. >> Okay. Well, if it's a situational mistake, my friend, then we'll get you out of here. But like I said, you match the description of a possible suspect walking through this literal area that we got reported on. So, we're going to do our job and stop. >> The guy that went that way. >> Well, it was reported that you went this way. >> Yeah. >> Literally right where you're at. >> You just match the description. >> So, at this point in time, we're going to stop. That's our job. That's what we're supposed to do. >> I missed the badge. Ah, that's crazy. If he out here shoplifting, he a cop. I missed the whole badge thing cuz Kim said, "So he's an ex officer still carrying a badge." I missed that. >> I tell them there was someone that ran off that way. >> Yeah. What they look like? >> I don't know, dude. >> Someone ran off in that direction. >> Yeah, they were about my height. They had jeans on. That's all I know. >> They're running that towards towards the wood line. >> They went towards the the water over there. And then >> now you're making up a phantom person so they can go look for him and he can slip away. Ain't nobody run past you. >> I just see him cut the corner. That was it. >> What kind of shirt was he? >> Come down that way. Uh he had like a um a gray with a black bottom. Uh had a a collar shirt. >> Okay. >> You want to go just for >> a collared shirt? >> Yes, sir. >> Did you wear any hat? Uh, gray hat. >> You said that way towards the water. >> Yeah, towards the water. He cut the corner right there and went that way. >> So, the guy that you're describing is more someone who fits the description. I just want to say give this back to me. Um, I'm going to give you your things back >> and uh you're going to be all set. >> Okay. I appreciate it. >> Yeah, no problem. I'm sorry about this, but you you know, we're we're kind >> right. No, I get it. We only get a description to work off of, you know, so I don't want you to feel like >> anything's kind of targeted. >> I just don't want to miss my >> Yeah. >> My lift is like literally here. >> Where are you coming from, bro? Uh, >> I'm coming from uh um >> Yeah. >> Yeah, but like I'm not talking about like what city? Like where you coming from right now? >> Oh, no. I I was coming from the back end down there. I just walking down this way. >> I So I just took the back side. That's all. >> And this where his talking and explaining. and he didn't come up with his full story about it's going to backfire. >> Where you coming from before that? >> Uh before that uh I was coming from Home Depot. >> Going from Home Depot? >> Yep. >> Did you like how'd you get from Home Depot to here? >> Uh took a lift. >> Took a lift. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Where do you stay at, my friend? >> Uh New. >> You stay in Newton? >> Yes, sir. >> Why do you shop down here? >> Uh I got a girlfriend down here. >> Got a girlfriend down here? >> Yeah. He's leaving. He's only done. >> Okay. Well, once we verify, you know, they got video cam and all that other footage. We verify it's not you, we'll cut you loose, be done with it, and make sure you >> At the same time, deputies searched nearby just in case the man they detained wasn't the right one. >> Hey, man. You've been out here long? >> Sorry. >> You've been out here long? Uh there maybe >> you seen this guy running by at all? >> I saw him uh going there. >> Yeah. >> So I I I didn't see nothing. >> Did you see? >> Just he was over there. >> Kim said people don't always shop in the areas they live in. No, that's very true. We went to another town just to go to the outlets the other day. Um, but once that once we know we're watching the shoplift and body cam, it becomes suspicious. But yes, overall people go out of town all the time to shop cuz they they place don't always have the stores that they want. >> And you coming back again, I think twice. >> What was he wearing? >> What color was his shirt? >> It's a blue guy. >> Was it the same blue shirt he has on? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I saw him. >> Did he have his backpack the whole time? I I did not see. >> No problem. Thank you. >> So, how did he end up here? >> Lift. >> Lift. >> Lived at New Simra. >> Lift from New Simra to here. >> New Samra to Home Depot, then lift to here. >> Yeah. >> Why are you here, though? >> I was meeting a girl here. >> What's her name? >> Her name's Jessica. >> Jessica? What? >> Wheeler. >> And where are you going? >> I'm going home right now. >> Oh, where's she at? >> She left. She's gone. And that's why I was walking to get the lift. That's normal lift driver. I have to wait or what? >> Yeah, you can't you can't take them right now. >> Okay, I'll go. >> So, uh, >> I came here. >> Why were you back here though? >> I was meeting my girl. >> Oh, okay. >> That's all. I was walking back, you know. >> Were you in Target at all? >> That lift driver can go ahead and pick up his next ride cuz he not getting this one. It's a done deal. uh earlier like an hour ago. >> Okay. Did you buy anything? >> Yes, I did. >> What did you buy? >> I bought that right there and some milk and stuff like that. >> Did you go back in at all after that? >> Nope. >> You never went in there and stole anything and ran? >> No, I did not. >> They have good video. >> Okay. >> It's not going to show you on video. >> Wasn't me. >> Believe. One more time. >> Tell me the description of the person that you saw run out. >> Was probably about my eye. >> What was he wearing? Exactly. had like a gray with black bottom. And >> what kind of shirt was it? >> It was a collared shirt. >> It was a polo. >> Yeah, polo shirt. >> It was a polo shirt. And he had a gray hat. And he was wearing jeans. >> Yes. >> And what kind of shoes? >> Uh he had like white shoes. >> He had white shoes. >> Hello. >> Okay. >> Hang tight. >> I have u I have Jessica on the phone. >> She can vouch for my whereabouts. >> Pardon me? >> Jessica on the phone. She can vouch for my whereabouts. >> Okay. I'm so >> right now >> they're checking the target video. It's not you. If it's not you, give you your knife back. You're good to go. You gave me a fair a fairly decent description. >> Target quickly reviewed surveillance video and sent photos of the suspect to deputy's phones. Well, I feel like I said too much already, but Kim says, "Do we believe he is the culprit?" >> All right. Before I ask you anything, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. >> All right. >> All right. The right to remain silent. Do you understand these rights? >> Yes. >> All right. With these in mind, will you speak to me? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. So, they have pictures here. Is this and they positively identified you and so what's what's going on? What's going on today? They have pictures of you taking the stuff off the shelves and you're wearing the gray polo. So just talk >> we just want you to be straight up and honest with us because it you know >> man I I I did I took some some bathing suits for my my daughter, my little girl because I couldn't really afford to get them >> and and that's what I did and I have them in my bag. >> Your bathing suits? Yes. Yes, baby. She was so happy. Yes, I do. >> With the shirt that you were wearing, the polo? >> Yeah. >> Where did Where's that at? >> It's over there. >> You dumped it over there behind the >> Where over there. Like, just tell me where it's at. >> Behind that white. >> Ah, I don't trust I was just thinking about this. Okay. My My brain went from now, why would you steal bathing suits for your daughter? It can't be that serious. Now, my mind went to the more darker places cuz I be seeing too many predator type videos. So, I need them to investigate. Why is he buying Kia's bathing suits? I just need to go ahead and follow the whole thread cuz I don't, you know, it's better to eliminate the possibility than to let it be hanging and there's a victim out there that could be helped cuz what? >> Find a big white unit. Okay. Besides like the bathing suits, is there anything else? Like did you like the the tea and the milk? >> No, I paid for all that. >> You have receipts? >> Uh, yes, I should. If not, then it's should be at the register that I was at that I uh >> Okay. Do me a favor, don't >> just shut the bag down. >> Yeah. The receipt should be in there. If not, like I said, it's it's definitely in there. Uh paid with my EBT card. >> Wait, with your EBT card? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what you took in here is just the uh the No, no, don't open it. I'm just asking you. So, you just >> Man, do you lose EBT benefits if you start going to jail for stealing? Probably not the first or second time cuz I feel like it do be people on EBT that we see and they just be out there having a whole career of stealing. But, um we've had a couple EBT holders today on the body cam. You just took the bathing suits and things in here. Okay. Do you mind if I look inside the bag? Yeah. Can you just do me a favor and step away from the bag a little bit? >> Yeah. Yeah, bathing suits pull. I don't like this. I don't like that he got a gallon of milk and and kids bathing suits. I I don't like it. I know this is I don't think that we're going to find anything else besides him shoplifting on here, but I just feel like somebody should look into him. Can you buy these? >> The food and everything. >> Yeah, that would be pretty smart. Yeah. >> Okay. You said you paid for the lighters. >> Yeah. Well, I had them in my house. >> You had those already? >> Okay. >> Has anyone spoken to Target at all? >> Do you want What's up? >> This too. I'm sorry. Yeah. >> What's in your back pocket you're reaching for? >> This. >> What do you want to do with that? >> That was uh something I took. You took that from Target? >> Yes. >> Grab that. Deputy Joseph. Deputy Joseph, if you want to gather those items, the swimwear and the cord and then have that >> Yeah. >> You want You can lean back against this, whatever you want to do. >> Hey, real quick. At any point in your life, have you ever been charged and or convicted with retail theft or any type of theft or shoplifting or any sort of theft at all? >> Yes. >> When was that? >> When and where? >> Uh it was um New Smyrna. >> New Smrna. >> Yep. And it was almost a year ago. >> About a year ago. Did you go to court for it? >> Yes. >> And how'd that turn out? Um, I was on probation. >> On probation. Okay. So, there was some form of punishment of associate. Okay. >> All right. >> Just wanted to verify. >> All right. So, someone can do me a favor. Turn around. Put your hand behind your back. Take this, please. Thank you. >> You're just being secured for right now. Okay. It's not too tight, right? >> All right. Okay. You can turn back around for right now. Sharon, um I forgot about the badge. I forgot about the badge, too. Sharon says something's not right about him. Children, bathing suits, and a badge in his wallet. It's something I don't like it, you know, and like I said, it's better to rule it out. So, yeah. I I feel like we're on the same wavelength with this one. >> What's the difference between, you know, a minute ago and now? Why you have to secure me now? So, >> pardon me. >> Why you have to secure me now and not like a minute ago? >> I mean, I could have done it. Yeah. I mean, I could have done it a minute ago. We could have done it when we showed up, but >> Yeah. Yes, sir. >> Well, they're electing to pursue charges today in reference to shoplifting. So, So again, it's a misdemeanor exception. You're caught with the stolen items. You be placed under arrest for shopping. Okay. You're also going to be trespassed from the Palm Coast Target. You're not getting charged with trespassing. It's just a warning saying you're no longer allowed to be at this Target. >> So, all right. We're going to come over to the car. I'm going to have to search you before you get into the car, but we'll do that over there. All right. Do me a favor. Spread your feet apart. You got anything in your pockets? >> Nothing. That's going to hurt me. All right. >> You're not still on probation, are you? >> Uh, yes. Actually, I was just get just getting off. >> Okay. >> So, you're still actively on probation? >> Make sure that I'm sorry, that ID. Make sure it stays with my wallet. Just put that up there. >> Yeah, I got you. I'll make sure that >> we'll ask him about that in a minute. >> What's the stuff in your back pocket, man? >> I think they just pulled out a piece of foil. I think that's what that was. >> Food. >> The stuff that he's pulling out of your back pocket. >> Yeah, it's all food. Bump crap. That's not That's not fair. >> You and I both know that's not fair. >> Be honest with me. What What we got here? >> So, if I go and test it, what's it going to come out to be? >> Nah, you can't have a some foil in your back pocket. It's probably for crack or meth. And then um you're stealing children's bathing suit. Investigate him. All right. Have you have a seat over here? Do me a favor. Move over here real quick. >> All right. Stay right there real quick. All right. I'm going to grab your seat belt. Do me a favor. Just take a step to the side. All right. >> It's pretty crammed in there. Grab. >> All right. Watch. >> Robert, >> we're testing it. >> Yeah. >> Deputies gave him one more chance to come clean about what was in his back pocket. He admitted it was drugs, then suddenly made a surprising offer, likely hoping for reduced charges. >> Listen, man. I'm going to need you to be honest with me. So, what's inside the capsule with your teeth? What is that like? We're going to we're going to test everything. >> I just I just want you just to be honest >> so we can at least be safe now. >> Yeah, >> it's uh fentanyl. >> It's fentanyl. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. Thank you. And and uh what what's what's in the uh temp oil? >> Uh that's what I use to smoke it with. >> That's what you use to smoke it with. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Well, I appreciate you being honest with me, man. And now you use the little pen there to smoke it. The little tube. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. >> I can tell you guys where you're getting it from. >> You can tell us where. Okay. I'll talk to you about that in a second. Um, you getting it over here in Flagbit? >> Yep. >> You are? >> Yep. >> Who you getting it from? >> Carlos. >> Carlos. >> Yep. >> You're going to be able to tell me where Carlos is located. >> Just hang tight. Okay. >> Okay. I'll talk to you in a minute. >> On the way to jail, the suspect made a startling admission to deputies. What? >> Going to the jail. >> We were going to the jail until you told us that you ingested all I asked you. You said it's in you. >> I said if I had anything else. >> Well, weed is narcotics. >> Yes, it is. It's a schedule. They're just going to have to check you out and >> it's not going to take them. >> Yeah. And then we'll be on our way to the jail. >> He was arrested for pettit theft, third or subsequent conviction, possession of fentinel, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation. Under Florida law, the petite theft charge was upgraded to a felony due to his prior convictions. He >> Wow, we got one that was actually upgraded, y'all. Well, it's all it's every time I watch it's reduced, reduced, reduced. But because of his history, he went from petty theft to a felony charge. Okay. Um, and they actually took him to the hospital for ingesting, I think he said, marijuana. Um, but they took him to the hospital to make sure he don't, you know, clock out on them. >> Was cleared at the hospital, then taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall inmate detention facility where he's being held on a $16,000 bond. Just like last time. Do me a favor. Stand right here. >> There we go. >> All right. Have a seat. >> Okay, that one took some wild turns. We went from shoplifting to investigate that man. Find out does he have a daughter? Number one, does he actually even have a daughter? Um to a lot of stuff on him and then upgrade it to a felony. Okay, this is the last one. I saved this one. This one isn't shoplifting. This a woman tried to rob this 80-year-old woman and it was at a store. So, I just put her in here cuz I don't think I have another one that she would kind of fit in because I don't have a lot of ones where people were robbed individually. So, she's going on this one, but it says 83year-old woman robbed at Walmart. Suspect cries when confronted with evidence. And you have to hear her story on how she's explaining she did not rob this lady. >> You don't remember if you were at Walmart or not? >> You were in Walmart. Okay. Okay. Okay. Um, did you hit your head? Is that right back here? >> I guess so. I see it. >> Oh, and you got some Yeah, you got some arms and stuff. >> Yeah, a little bit. But >> I don't know why I fell. I just So, you don't remember anything of what happened? I >> was getting ready to go out by car and hold them. And >> what what kind of vehicle do you drive? >> I drive a >> Okay. Do you remember walking with anybody to your truck? >> What bothered me with my truck is one of the women from there walked out to my truck with me and opened the door and grabbed my purse under the seat and took off. >> And where'd this happen at? in in the parking lot at the at the scene where I was at. >> Oh, okay. >> But somebody said that they grabbed her and and got her. So, I don't know. >> Okay. Well, that's why I'm here to talk to you >> because, you know, I left that in my in my truck. >> Mhm. >> And it's got my money in it and my driver's license and blah blah blah. >> Can you describe what she took from you? What just what was in my little money? >> Okay. What What was the money in >> in my purse? >> Okay. Can you describe your purse for me? >> I mean, what color is it? >> Just leather. >> It's leather. >> Leather beige. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you remember? >> I just can't believe that she's being so nice and walking out to the >> So, you remember her walk? Do you can you give her a description to me what she looked like? >> She had a uniform on. >> She had a uniform >> that they wear there. >> Where at? >> Where was I at? >> Are you fine? >> She wears a uniform. >> Senior center. >> Okay. The senior center. Okay. >> We're just getting ready to go home. >> Okay. >> My truck. >> Okay. She Do you remember what her uniform looked like? >> Yeah. Okay. All right. That's okay. Do you remember what she looked like? >> When she was young. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Cute. >> Okay. She opened the truck door. >> So, she opened the truck door and then grabbed your purse. >> Okay. Did she push you down? Do you remember? No, you just fell down. >> After interviewing the victim and reviewing the security footage, police quickly identified the suspect. Latrea Johnson, 21, a Walmart employee. She was the one who struggled with the 83-year-old woman causing her to fall. Johnson was immediately handcuffed to the scene and taken to the station for questioning. >> What am I What am I for, sir? >> Stronger robbery. >> I didn't rob nobody. >> Sir, can I call Can I call my lawyer or somebody? Mhm. When you get to the jelly camp, >> separate your hands a little bit. Punch your thumbs up towards the sky for me. >> I swear to God I didn't rob her. Like this is crazy. She took my phone. Took my phone. >> Relax. Don't Don't move up and down. >> I'm sorry. I can't believe like nothing of her. She took my phone. There. Relax. Relax. Relax. >> You're twisting up too much. It's going to hurt when they go on. >> I swear to God. Oh my god. Oh my god. rob anything. >> Do you listen? Do you have anything illegal on you? Any kind of drugs, any contraband, any weapons, anything like that? >> Yes, sir, I do. >> What do you have on you? >> Just marijuana. >> Just marijuana. Do you just not have a card for it? >> It's a home. I don't have it on me. But >> But you do have a card. Okay. Anything else? Like any kind of needles or >> meth? Anything like that? >> Where's Where's the marijuana? Just like >> I'm sorry. >> It's in my bag. Yeah. I'm sorry. Can I please call somebody? Like >> Yeah. Whenever you get to the station, they'll give you some. >> Sir, is this right? Like she can literally put I She took my my cell phone, my cellular device. >> Is this even >> Well, you'll get to whenever they get to the station, you'll get you'll get you'll have an opportunity to tell an officer everything you want to say. >> This is crazy, Joe. Just because she white and I'm black, I got to go to jail. >> I got to go to jail. This exactly what it looks like >> now. Stop it. We are not about to do this. Just wait till y'all hear her story on how she's being framed. Don't do this. Like I She took my phone from me. She She took my phone from me. She took my phone from me. She took my phone from me. >> This is crazy. Can I please my phone? I think Walmart probably owns this box knives. >> Yeah, they do. You can you can get that back to They own them. >> Okay. >> And I have to take off the vest, too. I'm sorry. I forgot. >> This is crazy. I swear to God. >> I swear to God, I didn't do anything wrong. She took my face from me. >> She took my phone. >> Oh my god, bro. This is crazy. like it tells you, you know, if when your phone goes a certain distance, you know, it rings beeps or whatever. So, I'm like, it's still in the bathroom. So, I'm looking for it. And as I get up, you know, as I'm checking, I'm like, um, you know, I'm I'm not asking her. I'm just looking and I'm like talking to her, >> cuz I just know who she ran. We help. We going all around like find her car, find her car. And I'm like, well, my money's not in my thing. And I'm like, um, I mean, I don't mind buying your it or whatever, but I'm literally homeless. I was just going to help you. You said you didn't want it no more, so can I just have my money back? First, she was going to give it to me. Then she said she wasn't. So, me being me, I hug. Well, we hugged and I grabbed her purse. I'm like, "This is I just need my money. Can I get my money?" She first she was going like she was willing to give it to me and then she just was like, "Give me my purse. I'm not giving you my money. It's my money. She kept saying it's my money. I'm not giving you a [ __ ] a [ __ ] thing. >> So, from what I'm getting, the the 83y old lady uh she thought the 83y old lady was the homeless one. And so, she gave this 83y old woman money, but then the 83y old didn't really need it or didn't want it and she just wanted to get her money back that she gave to the 83y old woman. That's what I'm getting her story so far from her story so far. Anda and I'm like, "Ma'am, this is I just I see my money in the back of your wallet right there. That's my money." It was like $60 something dollars. I'm like, "This is my money right here, ma'am. I'm homeless. I was trying to help you out." Like, "Can I just get my money back?" She didn't want to give it back. So, I took it back and I had my phone already, you know, and it fell out. So, I'm like, "You Yeah, I It fell out and she fell." That's what happened. She fell out. It fell out. Everything fell out and it we was tussling like kind of, you know, over the wallet. I mean over the purse and she fell and I helped her up. I'm like, "Ma'am, get up. Come on, get up. I'm going to call the police on you." She like, "No, no, just give me my purse." So I'm like, "Ma'am, get up." She like, "No, just get my" >> And now she was going to call the police on the 83y old woman. And I see that she said she's saying she was homeless. So I got that wrong. She saying she was homeless, but she was still willing to give the 83y old woman money. But then she was like, "Give me my money back." Okay. And y'all went to hug and she snatched the girl. Just get my purse. And I'm like, "I'm going to just call the police." So instead of me calling, well, I wasn't on the phone with the police. I was telling her I want to call the police. So I'm as I'm mad. I'm mad by this time. So I threw her purse. >> Okay. Before she starts her next round of lies, Lenora says, "So, she took her phone and now she want her money back." I'm confused cuz she's lying. It's hard to follow people's lies. That's why we can't get it together. She's lying. >> So, did you take the money and the phone or what? >> Just my belongings. >> Just Just the just the Yeah, just because >> Just the money. Yeah, just my money that I had that I seen her take. I'm sorry, let me calm down. I seen her take in my phone. >> Okay. She didn't take anything else. >> No. And I asked the police like, "Yes, you can watch." >> Hold on. Listen to me. Listen to me. So, I can see you in the in the store. >> Mhm. >> All right. I see her following you around in the pharmacy area. I see her, you know, from the entry into the bathroom. There doesn't look like she exits the bathroom. There doesn't look like there's a confrontation. She's following you. >> It wasn't like no no like hardcore. >> Got you. So then I can see her go out. I can see and this is this is your chance. >> This is your chance to tell me the truth. >> A right hand. >> So I see you going out the lawn and garden. Okay. And I see you go out the fire exit and I see you walk behind her. She's got her purse strapped around her shoulder. I see you guys walk through through the um the parking lot to the truck. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. We see all that. Okay. >> We were talking all the time, >> right? I see that. Okay. Then I see you get to the truck. Here's my issue. >> Yes, sir. >> When I see you walk back. >> I was running. >> And you have her purse. >> Yes, I did. Yes, I know. I said that. I said I had a >> No, you didn't. I I just asked you if you just took your belongings. You took her purse. Well, um, well, I said in the middle of before you asked me that, I said I took her purse and I took my Well, I took my belongings and I threw her purse everywhere. >> Okay. And where'd you throw her purse at? >> I just threw it. I was mad. I honestly don't know. I was just throwing stuff. I was just throwing stuff. I don't know. >> So, I see you throw it into a trash can. >> Yes. >> Okay. She >> No. No. Don't you start that crying again. Now, come on, man. That is the classic stealing a purse move. You stole you stole that woman's purse, took what you wanted out of it, and then threw the purse in the trash. And like y'all said, it's around Walmart with all these cameras. Oh my god. >> She's got She is got a pretty big size wound at the back of her head. >> I know. I'm >> Okay. and and you and you left and you throw her purse into a trash. Okay. With her phone in it. >> Yeah. Open up. >> Okay. So, let's let's get real. >> I swear to God. >> Let's get real. >> I swear to God, >> Miss Johnson, let's get real. Are are you are you hurting to where you need to where you need to to where you need to take some things? >> I swear to God. And I will get on my knees. >> Okay. Don't nobody need all theatric. Get up off your knees. Now, she was actually able to produce some tears in her lies. You just can't believe everything. Get off your knees, girl. You did it. It's time to And then you injured her. You didn't just rob her. You injured her. >> You're good. You don't need to do all that. >> I just wanted my pillow. >> Okay. Okay. >> I like I told her, I stay on the street, ma'am. I just want my money. I was going to buy you your thing. So, she said that she had cash in her purse. >> She told me, "No, we was normal." He walking to the car. As we walk in, she was like, "I'm going to give I'm give you back your money. I gave you back your phone. I need to find my car." We >> This don't even make sense that she'd have this conversation with this lady. Yes. Leia's grandma. This girl was working at Walmart and robbing people. That's exactly what she's doing. just why why would an 83y old female >> I'm just sir I've been helping I'm just I'm just asking >> I know sir I've been helping her all day I didn't I didn't think nothing of it >> now when she just took my >> So how did she get a hold of your cash >> my stuff was on the counter >> of the bathroom? Yes sir. >> And so you're saying that she got into your purse and took your cash? >> I didn't have a purse. My phone and everything was on on the counter. So, you're saying she took your your phone and put it in her purse? >> Yes, sir. And like I >> Why would Why would she take your phone when she already has one herself? >> I don't know, sir. I swear to God. I don't know. >> I swear to God. I don't know if she meant like I don't even really think she meant to. So, I didn't think nothing of it cuz she her phone was right next I don't know if it was right next to mine. I want to say it was, but it wasn't cuz I didn't see it. But I don't know how how anyway it ago my phone and my money was in her pocket. >> So how how long have you been at how long have you been at Walmart? >> I've been at Walmart for about a month and a half almost two. >> Do you think the best probably way to do this is to contact a supervisor? >> And I was and I was and when we got there no when I when I was when I got in the store I done had this incident not this incident but two incidents prior to this incident happen to me and they just didn't care. I'm not going to say it's what my color, it's what race, but they be care. >> No, you're just dumb. No, no, no, no. Don't do it. Oh god, I hate when I hate when people do this. >> They just told me I couldn't do nothing about it. My wallet just got stole at at the job. I don't have no verification on me. It had all my verification. They told me they couldn't do nothing about it. When I told them, "Can y'all call the police? Can we look the cameras?" All they let me do is check the cameras for a little bit and they told me that they couldn't do nothing. So this this time I should have called police, but instead I was just like they not going to do nothing. I'm I'm this is me thinking. I said this is they not going to do nothing. I done had two incidents already. I'm black. They not going to do nothing. This is a white woman. Old white woman. I'm young. I'm black and this is what happened. And I know it look bad, but I swear to God say right here in the Bible, I just wanted my things. I'm homeless already. I already don't got nowhere to sleep. I sleep outside, [ __ ] Let me calm down. I sleep outside. So, all I just wanted was my was my phone and my the rest of the money I had till I got paid. I said I was going to buy her her item. She didn't want me to. So, we was walking out. She wanted me to walk her to her car. Walking out and I'm going out. >> This is the posture you take when it's like, I know you're lying to me, but let me lean in and hear your story. Let's go ahead and keep continuing with these lies. Oh my gosh, this posture here. Thank you for adjusting the camera, too, cuz we wanted to see all of this. What's going on? Um, I have believe she's homeless, but her being homeless hurts any part of her other story that also sounds stupid. Anyway, like you if you're homeless, why are you talking about you gave this woman $60, but then you also change your story till you set all your stuff on the sink and then she put it all in her purse. It makes no sense. >> As you walking out, we still chopping up. I'm still not getting that. I'm like, ma'am, can I get my um my money cuz I see it's not in my phone and all that. >> So, I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. When she comes into the store, you she's in the store, you help her out, right? She comes to get me. >> Right. Sure. And you're and you're walking around in the pharmacy and in those areas, right? No problem. >> So then you guys go into the bathroom, right? >> I want to know what was the exchange that had the woman walking behind her to the bathroom. I want to know what did she tell that woman? What led up to them going into the bathroom? That's the only part I'm not figuring out so far. >> Right. Okay. And you're saying that when she goes into the bathroom, she takes your phone? >> Yes, sir. I'm saying she >> and she puts it in her and her and puts it. >> Yes, sir. Cuz when I when I when I >> So, let me ask you this. As she's walking out of the bathroom, why was there not a confrontation there? >> We didn't have it. >> Why? If you if you knew that Listen, if she >> Because I >> If you knew that she had your If you knew that she had your phone in the bathroom, why didn't you why didn't you say something to her when she was walking out of the bathroom? I >> I said it. We were sitting in the bathroom. I didn't We wasn't walking out the bathroom. We were sitting in the bathroom for about five, six minutes. >> Okay. That's why I'm asking. When you walk out, >> she when we walk out, there's no We don't I don't want to make I'm in my job. There's nothing. >> I got you. You walk out. I see you on the camera. Yeah. You walk out first. She walks out behind you and there is no no Why are you not conf confronting her right there for taking your phone? Then >> I did in the bathroom. But what I'm what I'm I Why would you not Why would you When you walk out it looks very nonchalant. >> It do. I don't I don't have This is an elderly woman. I don't want to make a scene at my job. They already don't like me. I'm on the radar. So the best thing for you >> So the best thing for >> See Seems like it's a good reason you're on their radar if you were to >> So the best thing for you to do is to walk out and then to go out to her car. >> No, we didn't go out straight. I didn't go out straight to her car. We was walking around cuz I was going to buy her items like in the store. We >> So you're going to still buy her items even though she took your phone >> because >> you have no You have no cash on you? you. No, she at the time I didn't like when I I didn't >> Oh my god. She's got to give it up. This is so stupid. She's got to stop. >> Didn't look in the back of my phone or see my money was gone. I didn't I didn't check until we >> You knew your phone was gone? >> Yes. Until we knew. >> And you knew your money was back there? >> Yes, my money. Yes. I didn't think two and two together. >> She just gave it back to me. >> Okay. >> Before we even before we even stepped out the bathroom, she gave me back my phone. She gave you your phone back when you came out. >> She gave me back my phone. She gave me back all that. And that's why I'm thinking >> when you when you walked out of the bathroom? >> Before we walked out the bathroom, she gave me my before we even stepped out the bathroom, we didn't even That's why I thought I'm thinking she in and out of it because we It's nothing. >> So, hold on. Hold on. Time out. >> Yes, sir. >> So, you're saying that when you walked out of the bathroom? >> Before we walked out of the bathroom, we had a whole >> So, you got your phone back. >> She was like, um. >> So, you're Hold on, Miss Johnson. So, what you're telling me, and I just want to make sure I'm hearing this correctly. You're saying that when you went into the bathroom, she took your phone, but then she gave it back to you before you left the bathroom. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, then you walked out. So, then why did you walk out with her to her truck? >> Because she said she needed help. She wanted help out. >> So, why did you So, why did you grab her purse? >> Okay. Now, earlier, didn't she say the woman still had her phone in her purse? We know this is a lie, but just try to follow the lie. She said that woman still had her phone in her purse and her cash, and that's why she followed her to her car. Now you following her to her car. You got your money back, but she needed your help. Yeah. Yeah. My head hurts too, Lenor. >> Cuz she took my money and my stuff. Like my money. >> But you already have it. >> No, my phone. I don't have my phone, sir. I don't >> Okay, so my your but your phone has your money with it. No, my phone was my money and stuff was >> now. Didn't she just say this last time that you she did get her phone back, but she wanted to help her to her truck. Now she's went back to her original lie of I followed her cuz she still got my phone. >> Already gone after I got my phone back and I didn't notice it until after I'm like, "Ma'am, do you want to you want me want me to buy your items for you?" She like, "No." We get to I'm still not looking at my phone. I'm still >> No, there needs to be no woop-de-woop parts of this story. No, no, no. >> So, literally 20 minutes ago, you said that you were getting you were getting your phone and your money back. Now, you're saying that you're just getting your money back. >> I'm scared. I've never been in this type of situation. I'm just >> Now you're saying that you're just going to get her purse to get your money back. >> No. Yes. I was just let me just recreate cuz I swear to God this is not sounding right at all and I'm sorry but I swear to God I didn't >> we can finally agree on something that this is not sounding right at all. I think we're all on the same page for that one sentence. >> This is crazy. >> Walking out the bathroom. I I have no competition or have a reason to >> So you had your phone at the time? >> So I had my phone. I instantly put it in my pocket. I didn't look in it or nothing. So instead of me instead of me going to get a supervisor anything, I'm telling her I will buy her items. I'm like, "Ma'am, if you want me to buy your items, if you really need that bag, this that she was okay with it." We got back to got to the mom and garden or whatever. >> So where's your money at this time when you're saying that you're going to buy something? >> It I thought it was in my in my in my on the back of my phone on the back of it. >> Okay. because it's just it's not inside. >> So, you didn't see it there? >> Not when I when we walking out the lawn garden. I didn't see it like at all cuz I checked my phone. Um she said she didn't want the item. So, I just check my phone. I check my phone. The window back. I don't know. >> I don't know if I sped that up or they sped that up. I was just trying to pause. I'm going to go back a couple clicks just to make sure. I don't know if they sped that up if that was me. But yeah, Glow Glow said if tell me a lie was a person. Yes, this is her >> like at all cuz I checked my phone. Um she said she didn't want the item. So I decided to check my phone. When I check my phone, the money is not in the back of it or on the back on the on the thing. When I when she seen No, we walking out. When she seen me walking behind her, she's like, "Oh, you going to help me to walk to my car cuz I can't find all I can't find my car." I'm like, "Let me help you find." By this time, she being nice again, "Let me help you find your let me find." So, I was like, "Let me help you find your car." We get all the way to her car and she was she open her purse. She was like, "My money and they don't want to let me get this my No, I came all the way over to spend my money and they didn't want to let me get the fertilizer." She was just talking, you know, going in and out of it. But, >> so she's getting fertilizer. >> That's what it's called. That's all she keeps saying. So that's all I'm I'm that's all I'm just hoping to >> So when I was talking to you in the Walmart, >> you said that she was looking in the pharmacy. You never said anything about the fertilizer. >> I don't know. I don't know what where the fertilizer is. I don't know what I >> Do you know what fertilizer is? >> No, I don't. I was just willing to help her buy it because in in the customer service part, they said that's it's some memory pills. >> Wait a minute. So You're associating fertilizer with memory pill and then you're homeless and you're like, "Oh, yeah, but I'll help this lady who seems like she really needs help get some fertilizer or memory pills, whichever we're going to go with." This is such a bad This is so bad. I know. Just stop. Kim said just stop >> the fertilizer. >> I I don't know. I don't know. I don't I honestly don't know. Somebody said she really want she really bought she really bought memory pills but she think she bought fertilizer. That's all that was. >> Okay. >> So we walking out and I'm helping her. She like I can't find my car. She like my money my money. They don't want to let me spend my know spend my money on this fertilizer and they not let me get it and I got no receipt and this and this and that. I'm like well ma'am you know that's against the law. if I if you ask me to cuz she wanted some free items from the lawn bar and stuff. I'm like, you know, that's against the law. I can't give you just give you anything for free, you know, if customer service or a manager haven't override it or anything like that in that nature. My brain just connected one puzzle piece when I was like, why would she be following you around in Walmart? Duh. The girl had a Walmart vest on. She's a Walmart employee, so she's pretending to help the lady find something that she honestly could be looking for in Walmart. That's where my brain was like, "But why was she following you?" Because she's representing Walmart. She was a Walmart employee. Okay. Boom. We outside. She got cussing again. Boom. Boom. But I'm not I'm not going to say like, "Oh, this old." I'm not mad. I'm just steady helping her to her car cuz I'm like, she's she's old. I'm not thinking nothing of it. She's probably all I don't know. I'm just trying to help her to the best of my abilities. And when I see my money in her her purse, I said, "Ma'am, that's my money. That's my money. I know." >> How did you see your money in her purse? >> She we was we was when we talking, she was opening or >> where was all this? >> Where was this at? >> We was walking outside. >> So, you saw you saw the money in her purse when you were walking outside? >> I've been seeing the money, sir. >> I've been seeing the money. I I asked her about it. We were talking about it as we walking. >> Where did you Where was the first time you saw your money? >> In the bathroom. >> Okay. And you >> She gave me back my phone. That's It's all I really wanted. >> But I But you didn't You didn't want to say anything to her after the walk out of the bathroom. >> Yeah, I did. I did. I I didn't say we I didn't make a whole big scene, but I just said, "Can I get my money back?" She She was like, "I'm going to um" What' she say? We can Yeah, you can. You can get your money back or my money. No, this is my money. Then she got saying, "This is my money. This is my money." So that's when I left it alone. I didn't say nothing at all. I just left it alone. And then when I seen for a fact, I'm like, "Let you may be wrong." I'm like, "No, that's my money. It's my money. It's not in my case. She the only one that she just gave me back my phone." So I'm not thinking nothing of it or nothing or not. I'm not I'm not getting mad about it. Not think I'm not getting mad about it until we get outside and she like, "Oh, this is my money. This is my money." I was I was going to give um give it back and this is my money. This is my money. That's all she kept saying. That's how I know. I'm like, "Okay, ma'am. I'm going to ask you nicely." And I'm calling the police. I'm I'm telling her like, "I'm going to call the police if you don't give me back my items." He leaned back in again. I think he got more questions. He got that same posture that we saw earlier. Jacqueline said her lies are so bad. What do they begin to charge her with? >> Okay. like, "I gave you back your phone." She's like, "Was this the money I found?" I said, "I know you found it. I know. I'm not mad about you finding it cuz it probably misplaced somewhere." I'm not trying to argue if I'm thinking things around it. I'm like, "It's made place somewhere." She like, "It's my money. It's my money." First, they don't want to let me come in here and buy my um fertilizer that I already bought and got a receipt for. then they don't want to let me um um then they then they trying to say I'm trying to steal items because I want my my my money back for my item to die. Basically, she just wanted her I don't know. And I was like, "Well, ma'am, if I can help, I will buy your items." When I seen my money went in there, that's when I'm like, "Okay, I know my money got to be in my phone. She getting back on my phone." She didn't We didn't think nothing of Well, she didn't say nothing of it. She just played off like, "It's my money. It's my money." So, I'm walking her out. She like, "Can I find my car now?" So, I'm helping her find her car. When I help her find her car, we get to the car. I'm looking like we still ch like being nice to each other. We She telling me about her interiors, her car, all that. And I'm letting her and at the end of the discussion, I'm like, "Ma'am, can I can I get my can I get my money back? Like, we can hug about it." We even hugged and everything. I'm like, we can hug about it. I'm not going not going to, you know, hold, you know, be accountable. I know you kind of elderly, all that. So, she laughing and she smiling and then I got my money back. I I shouldn't have grabbed it out of we shouldn't have been tustling like that. I shouldn't have made her fall. But I got my money back and I was mad cuz she got said [ __ ] dissing it all type. She just got the custard and cussing me out. So instead of me giving her a purse back, I just ran off with it and I just threw everything everywhere and I threw what's the name of the trash. >> Okay. Okay. So, Miss Johnson, we're charging you with >> In the interrogation room, Johnson repeatedly changed her story while investigators presented surveillance footage that showed a completely different reality. She cried, claimed innocence, and alleged racial discrimination, but ultimately admitted she had marijuana in her bag. As a result, Johnson was arrested and charged with firstdegree robbery and aggravated assault and battery. Yeah, that makes sense. Aggravated assault. Mhm. Yep. And robbery. Okay. The sad part is she doesn't realize how stupid she sounds. Game over, right, Sharon? Her li Oh, yeah. We I read that one. But yeah, that makes sense. Let me see. It says in addition. >> In addition, the discovery of nearly 23 g of marijuana in her bag led to an extra charge for possession of a controlled substance. She was She thought she was acting her her butt off in there, didn't she? She thought she was doing something, too. Oh my gosh. I I told y'all that story was going to be crazy. Boohoo. Write about it in a book, right? Book of lies, right? Okay, that is the last one. I will see y'all later. Um, the next part of Lil Rod suing Diddy and what he's accusing Diddy and some other people of doing are is going to come out at 9:00 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. So, if you wanted to hear about me reading that lawsuit or whatever or um that's coming out, part one is there. Part part two is what's coming out this morning and I should be recording part three soon. When the fo when the police first approached her, she was crying talking about the lady took her phone, but now the lady gave it back but kept your money right. Ashley, it switched so many times. It was crazy. Oh, and prayed and hustle had asked me about Stefan Diggs and his chef, the police report. I did find pages of it, so I read that, but that's on legal at some point if y'all want to check that out, too. And um I saw something about federal charges on there. So, but yeah, like in the sense of when I was googling it, it came up about it being federal charges. So, possibly might be following that one along, but I got to make sure I get caught up with we got to keep watching the pre-trial um for Jarvis Butts. And we have um I got to finish out on the fake veneer text lawsuit. I'm down to now actually reading the counts that he's in that he's being charged with. So yeah, if you want to catch up on that, all that's on my channel and I'll get that last part of that fake veneer tech done soon. And yeah, just trying to keep up with these court cases. Thank you, Glow. I appreciate y'all. I'll see you soon. Bye.
