hey trendys trendsetters and my trendy tribe so I saw some things coming up about love and hip hop uh with the air Camina and her racist comments towards spice um calling her a blue monkey and apparently making monkey sounds I did not go back and watch the episode but that's what I'm hearing from reviews so okay so I have questions based on these posts I'm seeing and I'm calling them questions because I actually don't know for sure and I just want to make sure that I leave space for the fact that the right things were in motion before we knew about it okay so I'm gonna leave a little space for that so this first post I've seen and the Love and Hip Hop account Instagram account posted the Love and Hip Hop franchise has never shot away from hard conversations in our community working hand in hand with our partners viewers will see the impact of air camina's remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season effective immediately she will not appear in the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta I'm a words person and so here are my questions why wasn't she fired when she made the comments because this has been edited this is airing but it's been aired I'm not aired I'm sorry it's been recorded months before this moment happened so why wasn't a notice put out to say she had been fired when she did it it makes me feel like this is because social media is holding y'all more accountable than you held yourselves also it says effective immediately she will not appear in the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta I don't think she should appear in any Seasons again for Love and Hip Hop period not just the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta she should be appearing on Love and Hip Hop franchise peer read it in my opinion okay um I also have heard that this is not the first time she's throwing out that word so I don't understand whose Partners you're working hand in hand with when she's already gotten away with saying this before I would like to know what made this time different from when she's done it before because the term was racist the first time she said it let alone this time it's coming out and again why is she just now being fired effective the episode coming out and then I'm sorry when did this come out so this was posted an hour ago from the time I'm looking at it so she wasn't fired today the episode aired which is still too late to me daily dollar short I don't understand why she wasn't fired when she said the comment in the past Seasons let alone this time when she said it when y'all saw it and it was edited y'all saw it and then my thing is I don't really trust reality TV I'm sure I don't know who does at this point so I'm not saying like I'm the only one that doesn't but it says we will see the impact of Erica Mena's remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season now I'm wondering are y'all just re-editing to make us see some of the Fallout because and see how it's being um handled because my thing is I'm not so sure y'all would have kept this a big deal had it not been made a big deal on the internet like I just I don't see that and then my next question is for Mona Scott Young so she posted all it says is handled when did it start to be handled I would love to see some emails or just something to show the timeline of the time it was actually filmed and y'all were handling it not handled after the internet kind of handles it for you and shows you the direction that they're feeling like this is not right so I'm frustrated I am and again I know I don't have all the facts because I'm not behind the scenes with them but just from how come on Love and Hip Hop has been for sure colorist if not out and out Races by enabling um Erica Mena because although it is mostly black people you let this woman get away with so much and now she's mad seeing that she doesn't get preferential treatment from her I don't know if he's her ex-husband whoever although she's the preference like I just what do y'all mean like I feel like I I have not probably said anything more because I have low expectations I have low expectations for loving hip-hop okay so I have to post more uh had had the post said something more along the lines of we should have and now we are correcting that would have felt more genuine in the truth because I don't know if y'all honestly saw the huge problem with it when it happened it really feels like damage control but acting as if you already were taking care of it again I have to leave space that maybe this season y'all were honestly taking care of it but I would love to see some time and date stamps to really really help me out here because the X the bar is low and again as you just said this shouldn't have been tolerated we should have done a better job at nipping it in the bud when it happened this time or or something I because that that just that would feel more like the truth this I can't get behind again because like I've said and I've seen a lot of people say that they've heard it too so this is this is me saying second hand something because I because I don't know but this is the first time this woman has said monkey to a black person so I would love to see that she's not coming back to the Love and Hip Hop franchise period not just not appearing in the next season that sounds like some Porsche treatment Kenya treatment for some things this girl needs to be gone gone she can go make her money somewhere else instead of off of black people she sees as monkeys that's just my thought though I don't know I I again I'm trying to leave space that there are some things that happen in writing at the time it started when they heard her say it Lord but yeah let me know what y'all think trendy's trendsetters at
