have a good working relationship with the police so when it comes time for routine operations such as roadblocks we we help them nothing let's just switch these guys are you guys you just jump out for me please thank you where you guys headed to post office are we helping the police today with the roadblock we're just checking for anybody breaking the law in any kind of way small stuff as well as big stuff they've got the booking forms for seat belts no seat belts cell phones and all those kind of things but i'm not really interested in that i'm more interested in guns and drugs and stolen property so we'll see what we come up with today okay can i just search the car can you watch me please just i should you pull the seat for me thanks buddy okay let's just playing this what you guys doing garden service yes yes we've got a good relationship with the police we know we can give them a call they can give us a call we always have to help each other because at the end of the day that's what we're all here for is to help each other make south africa a crime free area maybe mail taxi link license desk this guy doesn't have his license that's displayed thank you it's it's a lot better for there to be a lot more manpower and a lot more force at a roadblock than um less police official pulled over the one car and then i went up to him and i was just like okay how's the circuit i can see your alaska just to like try to speed up the thing so this guy actually chewed me and he told me uh what you can't see my license uh so i was like why and he's like you're not a police official so i was like okay cool so i was like this guy's been but arrogant is hiding something so i just called over the police for the future i was like i felt pretty i'm pretty useless so i just basically stood there at once inside i was like that's it bro i would have been out on the floor it was a bit boring until uh the one guy driving a rock he the police slowed him down they waved him down to stop he just uh stood up and the police official she was pretty fast they jumped into the car straight away they chased that guy down oh these are there during a standard routine roadblock it's not uncommon for somebody to try to speed through it in this case the the guy sped through the roadblock pretending he didn't even see us they followed him he actually ran a few red lights jump out get out your car get out get out get out the car eventually when they pulled him over he uh he he said that he didn't even see the roadblocks so um he's in a bit of trouble can i ask you why are you running the roadblock nobody stopped me we did they're putting over and you ran straight through the road we stopped you we flagged you down you went straight through and why are you running the road block nobody stopped me we had a vehicle come through try to pull it over the first time he just started laughing at us and he sped up he went through three red robots so we just managed to get him come watch me out you'll want to join it quick take you on it please it's fine now please take it take you on it because i don't just stay after us at the wall it's been stunning we searched this vehicle we didn't find anything so we didn't know why he actually jumped the road roadblock but we've subpoenaed him to court for running a roadblock and uh running three red robots no problem we have some amusement to you guys this morning no problem we can do what you like sir you ran the road block we just trying to do our jobs at the end of the day that says it's a roadblock which is legitimate yes didn't you see the police coins number two so we'll see you can org as much as you like so i'll come and take my photographs right now perfect he didn't have anything in the car he didn't have any contraband with him any weapons anything illegal so i just don't understand what the purpose of trying to run a roadblock you know it could land up in tears you could get yourself hurt so in this case he'll have to go to court everyone hates the roadblock um you know it's one of those pains that no one needs no one needs to be stopped in the middle of the day while you're rushing off to work but don't be an a-hole don't try ride away from a roadblock you're going to kill somebody or you're going to get yourself killed get out my kid okay [Music] okay two years ago i moved into our new house with my beautiful fiance melissa it's actually been awesome living with her she does a hell of a lot around the house she looks after me she pampers me i mean it's awesome it's just plain old great she won't break it oh i should do weed fix huh yeah okay cool and she's so sick of bloody when are you going to wake up and make me bacon and eggs huh i'm an early bird i wake up my time clicks choppers 4 every morning i'm up bright and early and it's also it's minor time in the morning we sit down and about half an hour often i'll catch up in the morning because at night you don't usually get it because i've got meetings she's got meetings every second of the day that melissa gets with me she likes to bring up the wedding she's got so much reading stuff i've given her full range to do what she wants with the wedding because i just don't have time i mean it's not nice i just don't have time to go look at different colored flowers it's so difficult um to keep with clients doing your raids doing everything then you've got to go see wedding stuff it's it's it's really tough nice not bad happy different at the end of the day guys don't really get about the color of the flowers the color of the tables they just need to rock up and give their wife a beautiful love have you guys decided about the bachelor's probably yet no it's a big secret no i wouldn't actually know much about it but you know what's going to happen there connect my brothers are knowing your brothers and the last one in the family getting getting married in our family bachelor parties are huge bodies for us my dad had a huge bachelor's my brothers had a crazy bachelor of bodies now i'm the last one in our family to get married so i can't believe it's going to actually be off the hook so melissa's tries to challenge me every day to see if i know exactly what's going on with the bachelor body but i don't know what you're up to today where guys guy's actually getting hit for the come back and eat them for dollars before they get to the airport airport casino it's all the same circle it's a rolex game i mean it's quite risky but what's nice is we'd be riding in three different cars and they wonder where the people are okay so i know which car to target yeah well that's good no that sounds glad you're asking me i'm gonna have to put my suit on because i haven't worn that thing for a while we like doing it because if you see the people's faces with us three brothers jumping out the car they don't know who the whole way transporting it's actually quite a luck you see the car stopping they think there's somebody very important a movie stole some they actually have no idea it's quite it's actually a luck yes yes it's called one of the other specialized services we offer is bodyguarding some of our high profile clients when they go to places such as the airport or to a place where there's lots of people they require us to shadow them uh give them a ride make sure that they aren't going to be bothered by anybody or their family is not going to be in any danger keep it tight okay watch the car behind you who's ever the lead man i think i'm going to be the lead man some of our high profile clients due to their special circumstances will require one of us to shadow them on a holiday trip or on a business trip sometimes we find ourselves becoming friends with the clients and uh which makes work working for them and protecting them in absolute pleasure it's like protecting your own family keep your thoughts quick professional let's be in and out there look at your surroundings there's going to be a lot of people around there who don't know who they are everyone's a potential threat we weren't really expecting any trouble but you have to act professional and be ready for it at all times when you're driving someone of importance around it's imperative that you keep the convoy very tight we actually were pretty rude on the road if you want to get in front of us we don't let you in we cut you off we block you off you don't get in between our convoys so sometimes one of the modus operandis that are used by the criminals is to try to separate the pack and get the vehicle that's carrying the delegates or the high profile person by themselves and then they can possibly do what they want to do with that person if you see a badass convoy of black muscle cars best stay clear anybody trying to cut in front of us will consider it an act of aggression when we arrived at the airport we checked the surroundings our team moved through the airport we made sure it was was clear i'm on the way to the storm drain again uh to meet klaus uh we got a report from the police meeting that they're having uh breaking again we went uh to a storm drain uh one of the guys the complexes were getting hit there quite hard what they're doing is they're standing on that and they're looking inside your complex okay so we're we're giving them perfect steps you're giving them stepping stones to watch you to to these need to be cut off as soon as possible watch how many times you patrol they say okay this guy's going on patrol now so we've got another 40 minutes or another 20 minutes before he does his next patrol run in go through an open window skill a laptop out in 10 minutes hide the laptop in the tunnel over there carry on walking on the street the cops pick them up they've got nothing on them they've got nothing wrong they come tomorrow morning pick up the laptop take it to the pawn shop so we are meeting classes now so we're going to have uh a walk through and see what we can find hopefully we can find these guys that break into this place so we went uh classes myself we went on site and we had a quick look at the complex seeing where they break it in and stuff like that see the the fastest route so we basically acted as a criminal or put ourselves in a criminal shoes and then basically saw where they would run what they would do and stuff and we came up with quite a good uh getaway route if you if you could say that okay see here's a classic example let's see they've got newspapers newspapers all a lot longer so the guys have been sleeping in here okay it's not uh not the best thing to find but it's a dvd player so they're obviously started because there's no tv yeah let's just keep carrying having a look here it's probably what they used to break the windows and all that oh yeah we found something fun something i don't think i'm sherlock holmes but it's good to find something because you don't always find something so when you do you actually feel proud of yourself i was actually smiling for quite a bit i was like i found that there we go that's the money you learn the price tag was thought under the necklace so i thought it wasn't a cheap necklace it was a 280 900 if i'm not mistaken oh no it's just a couple hundred bucks for the stuff that probably shoplifted but more importantly this is what the cars used to open up the fences and break windows and everything like that so you know that probably got a couple of perpetrators sitting staying here at night so at least you know next time there's uh where you help the road this is one of the first place [Music] we got to the top and we could actually see uh roots going down the the bank so it looks like either people are walking down there on a regular basis all the cars are actually dropping people off there and they go down through the tunnel oh we were here about a week ago and uh it wasn't too bad but now we can see that they've taken some main cables and a whole lot of other smaller cables their main jobs or their main crimes are cable theft and then they're picking up a bit of extra cash from robbing the houses in the complex what i basically thought in my head is someone's coming back for this they left the jail they're going to be back later or not so we had a security guard with me so what my whole strategy was i thought i should just leave the security guard there leave him with a walkie-talkie straight through to the control room and straight to my walkie-talkie as well and leave him with a torch i told him not to be a hero or anything i told him if you just see things don't make yourself visible just call us straight and we'll come with force and we'll try to rest these [Music] legs okay i've just received a call from trevor the storm drains it related a while ago he went back then they found some stolen goods in it so i'm actually responding on the way there now i've got a bit of backup with me to see if hopefully we can catch a suspect the reason why they normally leave the stuff as quick as a quick getaway route so they steal from the complex or they're still from the shop they got hided somewhere and then they walk off and they come back fetch it later the reason for this being is so they don't get caught with anything on them so the police have nothing to arrest them for this individual does not know that we've got the items so our idea is to trap him inside the tunnel so team a will come from the right hand side and team b and team c will move together from through the bush this way just in case he tries to run towards them because if we got him checked we don't know what weapons okay [Applause] um [Applause] lot yes [Music] one [Music] we're going to take you to the coffee shop cops are going to tell us we've got them and we'll see where this stuff we caught the suspect tonight he's not leaving in cafe we didn't book anyone but it's a step in the right direction i can guarantee you that he's told every other person he's ever operated with not to come here and talk with us gentlemen today's mission is not to harass or give anyone a hard time today's mission is purely to gather intel who's involved in the crime who's uh going to be a problem in the future we went to one of our sites and jp gave us a brief on what the operation was so the operation was to wander people living by the rivers that it's unsafe also another part of our mission today is we're going to warn these squatters that when september time comes and the heavy rains start they're going to drown the floods are going to come and people are going to drown they don't know this they probably just came across from across the border now or they don't know what happens when the rainy season comes so we have to give them a warning so that we don't have any casualties because at the end of the day we want to look after people as well so we we're just warning them that when summer comes the rain is going to come it's going to flood the river okay while we're going we've had a brief by jp we're going to an open area where they are basically squatters we know those guys when we get there they're always gonna say [Music] no they can't move from that place because it is the issue that every day when you go there they want to claim the place that it is their territory their place to stay they don't have anywhere to go but for for their safe for their safety measures so we have to help them and then move them away from the danger of the river clearing those guys from from the river we've got two benefits from that first one is crime and then the second one is best for them because it's dangerous to stay along the river because you know the railing season is approaching so it's going to be good for everyone as we crossed the river and then we saw the lot of ravish in the river and then it was piling up so we had a sense that these guys there's some people staying up along the river so that's where we went again and to check with what's happening so if you guys want to check this out i'll come through here i don't think they'll be in here how's it what you doing here huh what you doing what you doing here it's no problem i'm just asking you what's going on this is scrap metal where did you find it huh you just found it so the first guy that would stop here is carrying all scrap metal and all that stuff so he said david approached him and he said he was going through to the scrapyard to go sell the the metals where do you stay uh it's coming from that side of home i made a contact with one of the guy when we get there some of them they will tell you the truth you can see they are trying to live to make your honest living there but you can see just looking around their eyes some of them they are lying they don't tell the truth about it there is something they are doing which is not okay all the way from tembisa coming only to collect skype here to go and sell over to sell over here yeah okay we'll pay the scrapyard a visit to make sure they're not taking any stolen items things like that don't add up because the amount of metals that he had on him or the amount of uh material that he had on him was it's like where's like 20 bucks so to come from to visa to midrand it's like 11 000 taxi and it will go back so there's like 22 round to their back to go home so it just doesn't make sense to come all this way to collect 29 worth of scrap metal no trouble you understand have a good day living along the river next to the river this is is very very dangerous yeah so if you start to rain and the river will be filled and so you might drown or be flushed away you see during the operation we went to the first part of the operation we saw about 15 shacks and it's it's just not it's not good to see that it's like it's very sad to know that people live in those circumstances i had a chat that guy and he was explaining to me that he lost his job two weeks ago and then and so he's making his living here so about his safety as well he's cons he's concerned about the safety of this place but i've warned him that he must not be involved in any crimes because people are making break-ins here and other people are getting killed in these bushes and so i told him he must be careful never ever to be involved in any kind of this kind of crimes well i was going out there today and not only did we do some intel to see if the guys are robbing stuff we also did a little bit of a good deal and telling them that they have to move their shacks because we don't want to at the end of the day we don't want to go down there and see dead people because of the flooding we don't want to see someone get hurt and families get destroyed because they bought their shacks too far down on the riverbank [Music] on this specific occasion we are doing a routine inspection on one of our shopping centres whereby we we actually moved to the center check out security officers when we were checking the center our security officer on duty approached us explained to us that there was some people doing something in the bathroom he wasn't quite sure what when he went there they chased him away that's when he pushed he pushed his panic button but lucky for us we're already on site for people that want to come here and drink too much we stick to our rules we close the gates yeah okay one of our security officers on site has notified the control room that these two gentlemen in one of the bathrooms in one of our shopping centers and what these guys are they seem to have blocked the door off and they're not letting anyone use it use the toilet so we're actually on our way there to go check what's going on it's positive it's puzzle thursday so these guys are probably drawing it's like what are we middle of the month so they still got money so people behave real bad on a thursday night as soon as you approached the bathroom this guy tried to tell us that the bathrooms are out of order and when he saw we went buying into it he quickly tried to warn his buddy inside there when we enter the bathroom the other suspect was flushing something in the in the bathroom [Music] this kid was in so much shock when he saw us i don't think he planned the evening going like this there was a little bit of powder on the counter um and the guys were you know they were acting all strange and they were [Music] panicking the suspect that flashed the the flash the substance down the toilet um his pupils were dilated and his behavior was quite erratic you know he was he was all over the show one minute he was apologetic the next minute he was trying to get aggressive this is a tell-tale sign of people that are on on some sort of substances [Music] the other guy got a bit of attitude so we had to get a little bit creative [Music] okay it's been flashed when these youngsters started getting aggressive and they weren't listening i went outside i got a fire hydrant i came into the bathroom [Music] obviously there was no more drugs left on them just the residue on the counter so we really had nothing to take them in on that's when zane got creative i decided to um the guy was getting a bit clever so i decided to to give him some powder of his own [Music] i think going through to the station and getting wrapped over the knuckles would not have been a big enough lesson for them so i think a few kilos of fire extinguisher part up the nostrils was a much better plan for these two guys [Music] so by using the fire hydrant i kind of put a stop to what what what aggression though those youngsters had and it also taught them a lesson night god is a good relationship working relationship with the police we're always there for each other to support them with backup when they're short of vehicles we're always putting our vehicles in to respond for them to give them the backup so we've got a very good working relationship we did a joint operation with the sps the objective of the operation was to comb the bush we walked through a large section of bush where it's known that suspects spend the night there waiting until the early hours of the morning while we are in our deep sleep they break into the houses of east operations we're carrying through the fault because we've got guys that are called shakes that are living on the side of the right and it's contributing to our crown the cockpit basically what you're having is illegal squishes living in the areas obviously coming in and having criminal intent as well there's boundaries of complexes the fences are exposed so we when we walk through we try to find that if the guys have really tampered with the fence because they like to usually temper a few hours before then they hit the complex you guys think i think the thing is going to help them what the bob wires are going to be and you step on the wire so it makes a step on the wall there's no substitute for a high smooth wall [Applause] so we're walking through checking the complexes boundary walls we're checking which vagrants we find a few vagrants in the area making a fire acting like they're sleeping that they're homeless that's why we searched them to try to find if we could find knives or tools to tamper with the electric fences those are the guys that they're not breaking into the complexes even though it was cold and i really didn't feel like being there i still was still taking my job seriously and we still i went there we looked in every law at low trade there was every little hiding spot just to see if we could catch someone because at the end of the day you want to catch uh take take a robber take a criminal off the streets i think it was a little bit cold for the criminals to be out i think they were all hibernating suspects work exactly like us when it's cold we like to stay home when inside we're out and about so on a cold night like that you don't find any crime we've taken a lot walk along the road to check for illegals and stuff like that [Applause] although there was no action i always have to keep these guys on their toes so i created a little bit of action the only the only time i got a bit scared is when jp jumped out of the bushes or behind the sideboard with his airspeed i was like i guess i'll get fights pretty easy and you're so distracted you know jeff got his own back because he kept trying to trip class trying to prank class all the time so trevor got it back it was she was great if we're not into if we're not doing these special ops in the correct days on the busy nights we're not going to get our suspects zane runs the shopping center so all years away i was running the shopping center for him and i got a call from one of his clients that's a restaurant owner there was a ghana lady fighting fighting in the restaurant they're arguing that in the restaurant i had to kick them out when i got there into the parking lot the garden girl the guy was just pushing the chicken trying to eat her when i arrived on sites i saw the i saw the guy push the chick so i pulled up onto them i jumped out of the vehicle and i tried to try to defuse the situation because i didn't want i mean to get more violence and the guy actually turned his anger on to me and started pushing me when the guy pushed me i fell back onto my bonnet and he followed with a right a right punch and it connected with me it was the first punch that actually connected with me in the heart because he'd give me body shots and i managed to actually tackle him and dump him onto the bonnet and then actually then take him down on the floor and i was i didn't when i had the guy on the ground i mean i got hit from his friend from behind i didn't expect him coming because i mean i was by myself there that time the guy hit me tried to get me in the headlock and then the other guy got up got me again and actually one of my security guards think lord was in the parking lot he rushed over to see what was going on when the scooter got the rifle back up there the other guy's friend he hit the road yo the guy didn't manage to catch the guy i mean the guy ran through he jumped over the gates he jumped over the fence ran around the back and he jumped into his car i mean the guy thought he had back up with his mate coming there but i mean when he saw god coming up for backup for me he hit the road i mean what type of mates is that i mean it really pops me off i mean i responded there to help this lady and while the fight was going on she actually came back into the picture and started swaying at me and wanting to actually attack me you know the one guy escaped from the guard chasing the other guy i mean he was had his hands up he was surrendering so i just kicked him i sent him on i said i don't even see them again in the center you know i managed to get i got back into my vehicle and i have to drive home back to melissa i have to show exactly what happened with my hey bubs
