Amen. >> So, I'm scrolling through Tik Tok and I see a story about this pastor and what they did to someone named Mahogany. And I'm like, what they do? And I'm like, well, let me watch it. Let's see what's going on. And this pastor proceeds to try to humiliate a church member. The pastor's name is Cassandra Pope or Cassandria Pope um depending on who typed it. She's up there and she's, you know, preaching and she's like, "I like to do things out in the open." She pulls from a Bible verse and everything and she's she's like uh mahogany. You and I spoke this morning and the way you gave me that hug, you know. Um I didn't like that hug. I just you know I have to call out in the open. I have to expose it and all this other stuff. Mahogany is like okay now Mahogy's head is tilting now like all right what what's going on? And it was literally about the quality of Mahogy's hug and maybe a conversation they also had as well. and Mahogany is in disbelief. And then also to me, I know I'm putting my own thing on it, but it's like, are you really doing this right now? This this is the route you want to take. Are you sure? And the reason we see it is cuz this was through someone's Facebook live or the church's Facebook live. As this pastor is trying to, you know, she's trying to keep the members riled up and, you know, uh try to give passion to her speech and everything, to her sermon. Mahogany is back there giving quality hugs to everybody before she steps down to the rest of the praise team or whoever. And I mean some nice hugs. Like I want a hug from Mahogany. And this pastor, she's still trying to go on and on and I'm like did you run out of material? Are you just a mean girl? What's going on? Like what what is really going on? And I'm criticizing this specific person, this pastor, and also her husband. He get on my nerves too cuz he come up later. he, you know, he backing her up and he he added his um Bible verse in there and everything else. But I just want I just want to clear it up. I'm criticizing them and people that are like them, not the group of people, just people that are like them. But she definitely is a mean girl with a mic. That's my opinion. She's a mean girl with a mic and a little taste of power. It's nothing wrong with having a humble church, but I but I'll just keep it there. She's a She's a mean girl with a little taste of power. She has an ugly spirit to me. In my opinion, this is this is the signs of a very ugly spirit. And I want to know how many other people has she done this to. Who else did you do this to? Cuz mahogany is not the first. And then you hide behind a Bible verse to do it to people like this. It's ridiculous. It's shameful. She is the example of when people say, you know what, I really don't go to church. There's some things I don't really like about going to a physical church. And she's she's that example. She's she's the type of person they usually have in their head. I got to keep clarifying. Not all churches, but she is that one when people are like, "You know what? I'm good." But yeah, this pastor and many pastors that I see like this, especially that live stream and everything else, I just feel like they are content creators with a Bible and they start getting outrageous when they start running out of material. They start running out of content and they start doing things. And I'm not even going to say to go viral cuz I don't know about her specifically if she's wanted to do things to go viral, but I do feel like she needed material. That's what I'm going to say. And the reason I'm going to say not maybe not aiming for viral, I don't think she's social media savvy. I just have a feeling I'm not sure. I'm going to try to find some responses from some Tik Tockers and I'm also going to see because some people said they may have seen Mahogany post her own thoughts about what happened. So, I'll try to find that and put that here as well. But Mahogany, we are behind you on this one. I don't know what that was except some nonsense. And that fear, that word fear is talking about reverence. We have to get to the place where we understand this is I I spoke about this in Bible study. We do not use this as leaders and has allowed us to get to the place in the body of Christ where we are. >> Nobody wants to hurt anybody else in church. >> But it's okay to be rebuked openly. >> And guess what? that won't happen again. >> Now, we're going to do the prayer. Yes, it is well with my soul. [Music] So, it's been brought to my attention that a lot of people are lying on Mahogany, and I don't like that. So, let's address some things. One, number one, Mahogany did not hug the pastor or the bishop or whoever two dreads is very weirdly because they stopped paying her. Mahogy's pay never changed. They stopped paying the choir. Everybody up there, the praise team was not getting paid. So if you want to put on the floor, we're gonna put on the floor. The praise team was no longer being paid for one. For two, when we joined our new church, I told Mahogany almost a month ago to stop going to that church because them people ain't right. But Mahogany said that the Lord gave her a gift and she wants to continue to use her gift. So she went up there and I supported her from afar because I don't like them people. Three, the church been struggling with money. So since you want to put put it on the floor, we're going to put on the floor. The church has been struggling with money. And if they would sell that bins they drive, they could pay the people to sing. The praise team was not getting paid. Very few up there were getting paid. Mahogany was one of them. Four. I don't know who y'all spoke to, but we're going to put the facts straight. Not this last Sunday, but the Sunday before last. Mahogany was at the church and the first lady came in demanding for them to sing a song they had never practiced. And Mahogany and everybody had felt uncomfortable. And that was one of the many times they had offended Mahogany. And she decided that she was going to still say and sing even after they had already offended her and said, "Well, if you don't want to sing the song, you can go." Mahogany still stayed and convinced others to stay at the church and sing the song five or whatever number I'm on. Mahogany is a nurse. Mahogany is not going to risk her nursing license for anybody. I however have not graduated yet and I will. You better off praying juice than trying me. Six. Mahogany is a good person. She deserve any of that. So whatever lies y'all going to spew on the internet, whatever beef that you have, whatever you got to say that's negative, take it to me. Take it to me. I have time. One thing for certain and two things for sure, it was never about the money for Mahogany. Mahogany was going to keep singing up there after she gave her two notes. I told her not to go back. Mahogany said she was going to go back. I said she should leave them people high and dry. She said no. So whatever lies the church is going to spew about Mahogany, you got one more time and you will be seeing me next Sunday. And by next Sunday, I mean this Sunday, front row and center, so we could address it on the live how y'all wanted to in the first place. So before y'all worry about trying to clock mahogany or spread lies about her, worry about finding some money for the church. Thank you. Somebody go tell Cassandra Pope in Houston to go sit down and heal. This is what happens when you have people in leadership who are not healed, who don't go to therapy, and who do not know how to rightly divide the word of God. Not only are you nasty and spewing foolishness in the pull pit, but then you use the word of God to back you up. Blasphemous. I just want Mahogany to gone on over to Wheeler A because we already know that's one of the best churches in Houston and I want somebody from the leadership team to hire her on their praise and worship team. How about that? Huh? >> Mahogany. Very cutesy, very demure, very Christian, very loves the Lord, very saved and sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost because I ain't going to say I would have snapped. I probably would have done like mahogany and said, "Yep, threw that church usher finger up and that's my cue to leave." But everybody ain't that saved yet. Okay? And the Lord ain't done working on some people. And if Mahagany had a mop mop, I ain't going to say I would have felt bad about it. I I I would have said she could have handled it differently, but in truth, that lady was dead wrong. First lady, pastor, and everything. See, this is why y'all got to stop acting like everything that your pastor and your first lady do is right. They human, too. And her response to that was really, really what to a hug, y'all. From what we from what I understand, it's a hug. She didn't hug you, right? Baby, I have been kicked out that church. I don't hug. You never know who you going to get on a Sunday morning fool with me on a Wednesday on whatever service. I may come in, I may hug you. One day I may not. One day I may say, "Hey," and be nice. And then one day I may just go to my seat and not want to be bothered until it's time for church cuz I'm just in a zone. Why? Cuz she hugged me different. First lady go sit down. going to have several seats. And to say that that was open rebuke and and all of this was in the name of the Lord. Y'all better stop playing with God. Stop playing with my God. Okay? Cuz he don't play like that. I know God was clutching his pearls. Okay? Like, hold on. Cuz I know she ain't talking to one of my children like this and saying this in my name. I mahogany. I I'll same with you in today, baby. We could do worship at any given time together. Okay? We could we could we could go stand out on the corner and sing together and and brain because you are an example of who we are supposed to be in the kingdom of God. And I commend you, sister.
