All right, mic check. Mic check. Okay, so first things first. Um, if you are new to my channel, I will be talking. You will hear this voice. um maybe not so frequently on these, but you're still going to hear my voice if you just came for the videos. They will be in the description box once this live is over. Um so, we're going to get started. And I have the trigger warning pinned at the top right now. Um but here's my vocal trend trend. I cannot get it right. Trigger warning. Um this does involve fatal endings for some of these. And I feel like even the descriptions are kind of hard on some of these. So, these are not the light ones. These are the more serious ones that people also want to um be able to see what's going on as well. So, the first one, this one does not end fatally, but it still is disturbing. And this one is police step in when abusive stalker won't leave his ex alone. So, we're starting there so I can just in case I can catch people that are coming in. ex-husband had found out where she lived and was parked outside her residence in Dunwy, Georgia. Officers located the suspect sitting in his vehicle and approached to speak with him. As they walked up, he began shifting around noticeably as if he were trying to hide something. I'll get the tag. Just keep an eye on him. Keep your hands up. >> Hey, man. >> Keep your hands up. Go over to him. >> Yeah. >> You You live in here? >> You stay over here, man? >> Do you live here, sir? >> No, sir. >> Okay. What brings you over here this hour of the evening? >> I was traveling and I was getting some rest. >> Traveling from >> the roads. You need to be very specific, sir, because right now we got calls that there's someone out here that shouldn't be. And if you're in a place at a time that you shouldn't be, >> you can be arrested >> at the same time, sir. Like there's no uh there's no no lording. >> Yes, there is. If you do not live here and you're in a place at a time, you don't belong. >> I don't have no felonies and I have nothing. >> You just said you don't live here. Okay. >> And you took arrest traveling. That makes no sense. >> Passing there still no law. So, sir, I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> So, you need to dispel my concern about why you're here. Sir, but I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> Do you have business being here right now? >> Sir, I don't have no business going here, but I can be here because it's free land and I don't property. >> But sir, I I'm not doing nothing wrong. I'm just getting some sleep in my truck. >> You have ID? >> Yeah, >> I do, but I I give I didn't give no suspense to uh look at my truck or do anything with my truck. >> Nobody's going in your truck. >> And I didn't give no uh no no reason to or or no. I'm just saying I'm just saying like who who said >> I'm just trying I'm trying to get >> Stay out of your car. Come over here and stand right here. >> Okay. >> Is it buffering for y'all too? I thought just my um on my phone was buffering but I thought it was just cuz it'll do that sometimes. Sorry if it is Janetta. It's not just you cuz I also look at my phone and I'm hopefully it'll start playing better. >> I want to turn my vehicle off. I don't think your vehicle's running. >> Yeah, man. Again, like I said, >> we got a call about somebody matching the description, knocking on doors and stuff. >> I don't see you moving. Oh, no. I'm going to [sighs] I haven't had no problems with this new platform. I have had zero issues. Okay, now it's moving again. Okay, I'mma let it play for a little bit. Hopefully, it stays this way. >> Nothing about that. >> I don't know. But like what So let me ask you this since you said that. So what crime has has been committed? >> I've explained that to you about three times already, sir. >> What crime has been committed? You said you said a person can't be here. But >> so that'll fall under problem. So this time of the night, you said you don't stay over here. You're sitting in the car. >> So you can't you can't lie me to nothing. No nothing here. So if even even if I'm just sitting here, you can't say, "Hey, I have any type of line that says I'm there, there, there, or there." So, you can't say like uh you can't find me default to anything. >> So, that's what we're trying to figure out. Do you know anybody that stays over here? >> I don't. >> You don't? >> No. No, sir. That's what I'm saying. I'm I'm on the I'm on the road. I'm I'm trying to get some sleep. >> Okay. So, you have no business being here at this hour that you can tell me, right? >> I mean, I can leave. >> No, I'll ask you a question. You have no business being here? >> You can turn around. >> Yeah. You're under arrest for Lord and Prowler. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back, sir. Don't resist. giving you ample opportunity to explain your business here. I was thinking >> this is the first box. There's still no audio still. Okay. Give me kind of like I need a group group uh project on this one. Let me know if y'all were able to hear any audio when it started playing again. Um in the meantime, he this he's getting arrested for prowling, which is not one I've heard on body cam like ever so far since I've watched body cam. Okay, you can hear it. Okay. All right. Um, at least that's good cuz know if y'all knew how many problems I had, which you probably were cuz you were around for it. I'm paranoid. Um, okay. So, if you came in in the middle, he is an abusive stalker and that's why he shouldn't be there. This is not a profiling thing. He is and we you'll see more when the cop calls the victim. >> Okay. And we'll put that in the police report. 231 returns for that subject out of Maryland suspended class D Charlie 83. >> All right. So right now what we're going to do, I'm going walk you over here to my truck. Sit back. >> We got one in custody. >> What did I do? >> You can get a pat down real quick before you get in the car. Okay. >> Okay. But I didn't do nothing. >> You want me to turn your car off? >> I didn't do nothing. >> You want me to turn your car off? >> No. You leave there? I >> No, you can leave it. Just like I didn't do nothing. >> I didn't do nothing. >> All right. You going to have to sit back for the back seat? >> No. No. I need to speak to somebody to sit back in the back seat. >> I need to speak to somebody ASAP. >> Who do you want to speak to? >> Nothing. What did I do? I'm sitting in my car. Okay. >> I was sitting in my car. >> What was I doing? >> You can sit in the back seat, man. Come on. My sergeant is right here. >> N cuz then I'm I'm going be locked in here. No, I need to know what I did to >> You've already been explaining your charges. Have a seat. I am the ordering. I didn't do nothing. >> It's a warning. But I didn't do nothing. What did I do? >> Have a seat, sir. >> I didn't do nothing. >> I'm going to ask you the last time. Have a seat in the car. If you want to talk to me from there, we'll talk >> until I can be locked in here like >> You are under arrest. Yes, you're going to jail for what? >> Have a seat in the car, man. We're not going to sit here and discuss it. >> Smell the alcohol in his breath. >> So, calming. I'll we can talk to them. Let's not have contact with him while he's here. >> Okay. >> Um I can talk to him if you want. You have run him down. However you want to do it. >> Okay. >> Um I'll talk to them and explain to them about getting a a TPO against this guy. >> Okay. >> Cuz he needs one. >> Yeah, definitely. And then truck situation. Just if you want to leave, >> just pull past those doors. I'm going to go in there and I'll turn it off. >> That way it doesn't set him off in the back of your car. Okay. >> And I'll just give you the key and you just put it in his property. Okay. >> That's what's going to happen. Hey, he was hiding a a handgun. There's a pistol down here right right behind his seat where he was leaning back at. That's what he was hiding when he was moving around. Yeah, I can see I can see it from the outside here. It's in the floorboard right here. So, he came over here to to do business cuz he had this thing out. Um I see what appears to be marijuana in the uh center console. So, that might get us in the car. Anyways, um I'm going to call Foreman and see what see what else we want to do with it. But, you're good to go. Just book them on that for now. the LMP >> um drove by and I was every GM it was like two or three other GMC's up that way and I was putting the lights on. Yeah. >> Before I got up to him just to not trip anybody off. >> But when I got up here and I did it, I saw him kind of like leaned like kind of like duck. Yeah. And then when I turned around and put myself in that position, I was just trying to make sure he didn't take off and run anywhere. But yeah, that's when I was waiting on you to get up here so we can talk to him. >> I'm glad you waited. I just had a feeling on this one, you know, somebody coming over here, the notes in the call said that um >> banging on the door and >> and he, you know, he shouldn't know this address. It's been a year, that kind of thing. Um yeah, that pistol's laying right here >> and I saw him kind of like >> Oh, yeah. He was he was moving it. That's why that's why I went around the other side. I couldn't see in there. He I was like, he's moving around way too much. >> Yeah. >> Oh no. What's going on? >> Get your seat belt put on. >> For what? >> Safety first. There you go. >> Okay. Bet. >> Don't touch my truck. Been in my truck. >> Have a good night, sir. >> Yep. >> All right. Okay. This is where he's going to talk to the victim. And if y'all heard it, I don't know if you s heard it, but um that he was not supposed to know her new address. She's been there for a year. Uh there's no reason he needs to know where she lives. He had a pistol uh in the vehicle. I feel like there might have been one more, but I might be remembering another uh story. But yeah, he he had horrible intentions. >> Hello. >> Hello. Is this Miss Sharita? >> Yes. >> Hey, this is Sergeant Bradley with Domey Police. >> Hi. Hey. Um, I'm not sure where your apartment face is. We made contact uh with this gentleman out here. >> Mhm. >> And uh we arrested him for loitering and prowling since he could not give us a reason that he was here on the property. We did not tell him that you called. We just said that we received a few phone calls from residents uh stating that someone was banging on a door and you know, kind of things like that. I I don't know the situation between you guys. How how serious is this issue? >> It's it's really serious. I mean, we got a divorce, but I haven't seen him in over a year. But, um, he's like blocked, but he's like finding ways to reach out to the family. And I was trying my best to not have him find out where I live. I have no clue how he found out where I lived or how he even got in the gate. >> Well, I mean, getting in the gate is is not too hard to follow another car in, but >> I really hope no one that knew her tipped him off. I really hope no family, no friends believe this guy enough like she divorced him. If he doesn't know where she lives, he does need to know where she lives. So, I really hope it wasn't them. Um, but yeah, this is it is very scary. >> Yeah. How how he found you would be uh something. I mean, there's no telling. I mean, you can go to online places and pay money and they'll they'll search >> they'll search open records databases. So, I mean, that's >> possible as well. Um, I mean, I'm not trying to get into your business. I have a reason that I'm kind of asking these questions. Is there been any violent past between y'all? >> Yeah. I mean, that's that's kind of like that was the icing on the cake, which is why I left him. Um, and like since I've been here, I've been wanting to file a restraining order, but he hasn't, you know, known where I live, so I haven't done it. But now I'm just like I I wish I would have done that. Not saying that it would have changed anything because he's really unstable. Um, but yeah, it's definitely been a past of a lot. Like 5 years we were married. It's just been a lot. So, >> was there ever a history of violence, like physical violence or threats of any type of violence? >> Yes. >> Um, >> um, and I also have like videos and stuff on my phone. And there was also a time we both lived in Maryland before I moved here. Um, where I called the police and then he made up a whole story and like tried to put it off. It was a lot. But then I forgave him again and it just it was like a cycle. So I finally left this time and moved on and he doesn't like the fact that I moved on and >> um So >> has there ever been any type of police reports uh made here in Georgia or the city? >> Hasn't been any in Georgia. It's been in Maryland. >> Okay. Was anyone have either of you uh been arrested in reference to domestic violence between each other? No, I'm not arrested. >> Neither of you? >> No, neither one of us. >> Okay. Um, has he ever threatened you in any way? >> Yes. Um, >> are you able to tell talk about it right now? >> Yes. Um, I know like a few months ago he called me blocked cuz like I said, he's blocked, but he would block his number to try to contact me and he will say like if I move on, then he will hurt the person that I move on with and also kill me. I I think I actually have that still recorded on a device. >> Okay. >> But I have videos as well of, you know, when I the last time we did live together and the things he was was saying and doing and he's always drinking and smoke like it's just a lot. So >> yeah, [clears throat] >> again, I'm not I'm not trying to get in your business and and push you for things. From what this short encounter that I just had with this gentleman, I think this is a very serious situation out here with him with what you've described him tracking you down. He should, you know, and and I want, you know, I just want to give you the information that you need and and uh let you know how serious it is that I really think you need to go get a protective order against him. I would try to do that as soon as possible. This charge that we have on him is a city misdemeanor. It's only going to hold him for a short amount of time. I have seen some things out here that concern me a lot with what this situation is. Um, when was the last time that he made a threat towards you? You said was on the phone. It was a a voicemail he left you. >> Um, no, it was he Okay. So, he actually hasn't called probably maybe a week or two, but he will still find a way to call me, my mom. one minute he'll like say something to my mom like, "I can't believe like you allowed her to go through with the divorce." And then he'll send stuff like a day or two later like, "I miss her. How can I get her back?" But [clears throat] maybe I would say two, three months ago is when he actually made the threat. And he was making them so much like he said it more than once, which is why I pulled out my laptop and kind of started recording him. And I actually have him saying that he was going to like kill me. And I know you're I mean that's that's definitely something to take serious, but he was saying it. I can't even just defend that. But yeah, he said that. That's >> okay. So yes, Jacqueline. I like this cop as well. I liked how the first cops uh scoped him out but didn't alert him. Waited for his backup and then they kept it real. They didn't really escalate anything. They didn't let him escalate. They didn't set him off by going through his truck while he was there and all this stuff. Um, they also didn't say your ex-wife or whoever uh said that you were out here. They just said we got a call about a disturbance type thing or someone's here that shouldn't be here. So, I appreciate them trying to protect her as much as possible and then he's definitely trying to give as best he can with what he can say to make sure she just goes ahead and takes that next step to get the tpo. I definitely like his demeanor. I like that he's taking her seriously. He took what that guy was doing seriously. Yeah. I I appreciate this. >> He said, >> "Okay." And he called you from a block number. >> He has to. Yeah. Because he's blocked from my phone, so he can't contact me. The most he does, like he sends emails. I have tons of emails in my email. And then like I said, I have videos from the day we started being together because it it's kind of been rough the whole five years, which is why I finally found the strength to like leave, move, and not tell him anything. >> Are any of those emails since you've lived here in Georgia or in the city of Dunwy? >> They've been since he's been blocked. That's that was the only way cuz I didn't know how to like block his email. So he's been emailing the area, >> emailing me, but the emails are not really threats. The emails are him begging, you know, to be >> So the only the only threats that you have that the recorded is the one from a block number. >> The Oh, yeah. So the threat I recorded on my laptop and it doesn't show a number. It just shows me on the phone talking to him and him saying the stuff. >> Does he ever identify himself? >> No. It's been so much. Also, when I left, it's a lot of information, but when I left, um, like I said, it's a year, it's been almost a year now. He killed my dog, our dog that we had, like he killed the dog, and he admitted that on the phone as well. >> How did he kill the dog? >> I have no clue, but he called me after to tell me that she was gone. And I think it was out of anger of me leaving, too. Um, and he said that he killed it just out of anger. Do you know if he owns any firearms? >> Yes, he does. >> How many? >> I don't think he own He doesn't have like He's not registered, but um I know at least two. >> What kinds? >> One is like a big shotgun and then the other one is like a hand gun that I started to see when I was like starting to, you know, work my way out of the house. It was like new to me. >> I don't know if u you know what other steps that you would want to take to protect yourself. Um, I don't know how you feel about firearms or your mother >> because when we got him out of the truck out here, um, it appears that he had a firearm real close to where he was sitting and, uh, I think he put it down when when we came up here. Um, he smells like he's been drinking tonight. He was uncooperative with us. >> So, it doesn't it doesn't take much imagination to figure out >> he's up he's up to some serious no good over here. And people that'll kill animals like pets type animals and torture animals and stuff, they'll usually they well not usually, but they have been known to escalate to killing people. Also, he just seems like one of those if I can't have you, no one's going to have you type people. Um, and I know tposs don't do a lot, but it hopefully would build something that he could maybe just keep going to jail for, though, because this is the a horrible way to live. I hate this for her. I'm glad she's recording him and stuff like that. >> Also very important. Um I'm like pregnant and I don't know if he found that out too. >> Yeah. I don't know. But I mean he you don't come over here at 2 in the morning to someone, you know, you know, just just to say hi. So um >> I just want you I'm not trying to scare you, but I want you guys to to understand the the seriousness of his actions. Now, the unfortunate part is, and the reason I was asking some of the questions I'm asking is to see if there's any possible way I can charge him with something more serious to keep him in custody longer. You know, if he's a convicted felon, then being that I can see a firearm in plain sight from where he was just at, then we're going to charge him with that tonight. But I I won't know that here for a minute. I'm going to have to run his criminal history. I'll try to keep you updated. I don't want to keep calling you all throughout the night. >> Okay. Thank you so much for your help and thanks for not telling him. The hell was that? I got some clubs >> clubs over here. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did y'all see what they just pulled out of there? And I don't like that blanket because I'm like it's it's a couple things all are scary. He's camping out, sleeping in the truck, stalking obviously, or he was planning to wrap her up later after he did what he planned on doing. I don't like that. I mean, and obviously the guns too, but yeah. Wow. >> Police. >> Hey. Hey. You can call her talk to you for a minute. >> If you don't mind, would you mind stepping on? >> And she got her little belly. Oh my gosh. She's definitely got to uh ask who is it before she opens that door. And don't stand in front of the peepphole. Don't stand in front of the door when you ask who is it. Poor thing. I think they're going to tell her that too though because yeah people they can see you know on the opposite side of the peepphole when the shadow passes by and stuff like that. You just have to be careful with people. Can >> we if it's okay we can talk to you and your fiance too. >> What's up man? >> Hey how's it going? And you're the one I talked to. >> So what exactly was going on? >> She needs to be here, too. She's she's up. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Do you have a ID on you? >> Yeah. >> Sorry to wake you up again. >> Yeah. So, you and I spoke on the phone just a little bit. Um, and this is Sergeant Foreman and Officer Moses. Um, so to to charge him with what we need to charge him with, we need to be able to list you in the report um to charge him with the stalking and other charges that are going to hold him in jail longer than a city ordinance ticket. So, um, we can put your name in the report, like I said, in the supplemental section. Um, so it won't be on the initial face sheet of the police report, but if we don't have you listed on the report, we have no way to charge him with serious charges. Like I said, I'm not trying to scare you when I tell you this, but he had the handgun and the shotgun all in the car. He drove down from Maryland. Is that correct? >> He lives in closer to the door. >> So, he lives in Atlanta now. >> Yeah. And I think that if we if we charge him with stalking, that's going to start the process that you guys can get the uh the protective order that that needs that needs to be in place. A protective order is just a piece of paper. But if he comes out here and violates it, that again gives us a more serious charge, aggravated stalking. Um, so I don't know how long he'll be in jail on on the warrants that we're gonna hopefully try to get for him tonight or tomorrow, but if we don't get some sort of state charge out of this tonight, he's just going to have a a city ordinance ticket and he'll be out within what 24 to 48 hours. Hopefully with the state charges, we can hold him long enough for you guys to get that protective order and he can be served while he's still in jail. >> Yeah. And if he if he does, you know, come back out here banging on your door, you know, if it's some if if this door knocks and it's not someone you expect, don't go walking up into it looking at looking out the door, >> you know. Yeah. I mean, those thing those doors are bulletproof. >> Scary like that. I mean, it's but anything. Good luck to you. >> Thank you. >> Good luck with the baby. He was charged with stalking, driving while his license was suspended, criminal attempt to commit a felony, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He was then transported to the Deobb County Jail for booking. >> Okay. They got him for more than the loitering and prowling. So, I I'm I'm very happy about that. Um, blessings to her and her family. I hate it. I hate it for her. Um, this is this is one I'm going to prepare you that it's going to be hard to see the person in the state that they're seen in and they do later pass away. I'm just going to warn you now that way you don't have to be here if you don't want to see that. This whole thing is a trigger warning. All of the videos to me are a trigger warning. So, all right. So, this is the one you saw in the thumbnail. It says when her son's neglect became homicide. >> My leg hurts so bad. I can never imagine ever treating them like that. >> But your mom is really uncomfortable right now. I just broke my heart. Please don't touch my body. >> I love her. I love my mom. >> On March 25th, 2024, Ramsay police officers were dispatched to a residence along Highway 10 in Ramsay, Minnesota for a report of chest pain involving a 90-year-old woman. Inside the home, officers found far more than a medical emergency. Her son had been using the woman's social security benefits to spend thousands of dollars on alcohol and fast food while neglecting her basic needs. >> I'm sorry about that. >> Can I go on? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Our coverage is brought to you by Morgan and Morgan. A crash, a fall insurance company knows what real 30 be paid phone than you think from your phone. >> Hey guys, >> what's going on? >> Okay, this is the story. It's uh they were down in Arizona. His mom was born and raised up here. I've known her for years and years and him since we're a teenager. >> They just had a 5-day trip up from Arizona. She said she wanted to die here in Minnesota. >> Was she on hospice? >> I don't know. >> So, >> is this your relative? >> My mother. >> What's her name? >> Janice. >> Janice. >> Janice. >> Hey. >> She clone. >> It's okay. Janice. >> Look how casual he is about how he has done his mother. Just so neglectful. So, h this is this is it's bad. Um, thank you to Well, you'll see, but I'm saying thank you to that person that alerted the police. But yeah, this is crazy. >> She gets cold. >> Janice, can you hear me? >> Can you roll her over, guys? Is that >> Well, I just roll her on this way because she's got a short. >> Janice, >> you can roll her on her side if you want. >> She can't hear too good. >> She can't hear at all. >> Probably at all. She can understand my me. But >> so what's she complaining of today? >> Uh water, a little heat. This girl got excited about it. >> I >> So she having chest pain or what's >> No, no, there's no chest. >> Well, that's what we got a call about that she's having chest pain >> to get you over here. >> Okay. >> But she didn't want to waste tomorrow and go to the hospital. So she wanted to do it tonight. >> I guess >> I don't believe that man was ever going to send his mom to the hospital. I think what he said the first time is what he meant. he brought her there to eventually pass away, most likely on that floor. Um, and he says that the girl that called um was just basically he's trying to make the woman that called sound hysterical and and uh like she was she was exaggerating and stuff like that. But obviously as soon as this body cam came on, I'm like, well, she wasn't exaggerating. But he's still trying to downplay the fact uh of what his mom's going through. And it's just the no remorse just the he's laxidasical about how he's treated his mom. Like this is crazy. Also, he can buy alcohol and fast food. >> Been taking care of her for a while now. >> Had a heart attack or angina? >> No, she's not having any chest pain. >> No. Has she ever before? >> She's She's >> So, you're taking care of her? >> Yes, sir. 24 hours a day. >> She's Is she on hospice? >> No, we're going to She was I took her out of the hospital to bring her up here so I can put her in a hospice up here. Just got here. yesterday. >> This girl helped me clean her up and she got all excited. I know she can use the hospital. >> So, you think she's fine right now? Is this how she normally acts? >> Yep. She We don't have her doped up or nothing like they used to. >> Were you talking to her earlier? Was she >> Oh, yeah. She talked to me. >> Yeah, she was saying she wants to be with Steve and stuff like that. >> I was I was call I got the numbers today about the hospices >> and >> and we're going to check her water >> cuz she has to be at >> Are you going to be getting that baby B? Because if by the morning time he said he's gonna have something squared away here and if not by the morning then somebody can come pick her up or whatever. But >> she wants to be with Steve tonight. >> Don't do that. >> Don't do that. >> Please. >> My leg hurts so bad. >> Hi. >> This is Janice. Okay. the the other guy talking uh they said that the well the son that's sitting on this couch in the plaid shirt said that they've known each other since teenagers or one of them said they've known each other since teenagers. I don't think they're related. I think he said they were friends. So the other guy's just a useless body that also wasn't going to alert anybody about this woman. He was fine with it too in my opinion. >> Really hear well. >> Okay. >> They're more concerned than he is. This is this is son. As long as there's an ambulance for about 5 months. >> He's saying there's no chest pain. She hasn't really been talking to me at all. >> Okay. >> So, >> that was the the call to get you guys over here. >> They're the girls, it sounds like, are more worried about >> Yeah, you're going to have the cavalry coming in here. So, >> so what's what's been going on? >> Okay, so I got I I got the call today from my girlfriend. She said, "Can you go over? Steve's mom is on the floor. I've never met him before. I know Al. >> Okay. You know Al, but not the gentleman who was sitting right there. >> No. So, um I'm like I'm shaking because I was so pissed. I wanted her to go and I I was crying today. I was so mad. Anyway, um she's been in that position all day. >> Okay. >> And he would not turn her over so I could get, you know, clean her underneath the stuff. But when I came in, I'm telling you, I can never imagine ever treating my mother like that. >> Hi, how are you? >> Good. How are you? I don't they don't let you take her. >> So, this is a weird one. So, my partner said inside older female son is sitting on the couch. She doesn't know son very well. >> I just met them today. >> Son's mom is the one who's laying on the ground apparently been in that same position all day. She came here to kind of care for her. Has marks on her feet and >> she has bed she has a huge bed sore on her lower back. >> Okay. She had blood. It's like when I was giving her a bath earlier, but the backs of her heels, the sores are like this big, but they're to the bone. >> And can I be rude for just a minute? Who are you? >> I was I'm a I have a friend who called me and said, "Could you please go over and help >> give her a bath or whatever?" When he came in, like I said, she she had poop all over. Like she hadn't been cleaned up. There was dried blood all over her feet and her and his he wouldn't turn her over so I could get really good down in her legs cuz I could see there was dried blood that ran down in you know >> I got here not too much earlier so I'm just still trying to get the story as well. >> I could never imagine treating my mother like that. >> No, absolutely not. Um so you right away you said make her go. What is >> because she's like she's going ow ow and she help me help me. >> Okay. And I said earlier, I said, "Why don't you let me feed her?" And he goes, "I'll take care of it." And she kept saying, "I want some orange juice. I want some water." And he's like trying to put a she's like this all day. And he's trying to put a straw in her mouth. I said, "I'm going to go get a baby bottle. At least that way you could pop a hole in a little bit bigger and give her some applesauce and some juice or something." She's like, "Mhm." >> And you know, >> all right, let me just go see. >> So, I need to see your finger, Janice. >> Let me see your finger here. >> Hands are cold. I don't know if you're going to get a reading back. >> Stop. >> There is a heat blanket down there. >> Please stop. I understand. >> What's her name? >> Janice. >> You're pretty cold. >> She is a a spunky woman >> at the to me it just equates to him. That was It's basically torture what he was doing. He's just literally letting her waste away. Just literally. I'm surprised they even let a outsider come in to halfway tend to her because he he has to know this is horrible. And he's still he was still downplaying it when the cops were there like, "Oh, that was a BS call. She's fine. Oh, I was taking her to hospice in the you were not take there's no way because he would have been reported as soon as he dropped he he took her to a hospice place or anything. He wasn't taking that woman anywhere >> all her life pretty much." and and for her to make that ride like she did. That's >> please don't. >> And every time I touch her, she just tells me not to move her or nothing like that. So, >> are you a son or >> this is son behind me? >> They they've lived together for basically for the last 25 30 years. He's been taking care of her kind of, >> you know. >> So, when did you pick her up from Arizona? >> Just got off here yesterday. >> Yesterday. Okay. She was in the car upright. >> Uh she was on her back. >> Okay. >> She laid all the way up here. Laid her laid down >> on her back. Yeah. We roll her over the day to clean her up and take care of >> uh >> and you get all her laundry and stuff. >> When you poke her and stuff, it's a lot of pain. That's why I said you bring her in the night, she won't sleep all night. >> But they do have ambulance out here right now. >> That's correct. >> Arrived from Arizona yesterday. >> Yes, sir. >> That was a 40 call. >> So, >> one of the girls are these girls. >> How do you know them? Yeah. >> Uh, one girl came over and helped me today. Clean her up and stuff. >> Are they a neighbor? Uh somebody else do. >> Yeah, she's in um in like nursing and that kind of business. In fact, she gets paid like eight hours a night sleep watching people or something. You're not getting back on this thing. Came over to help help Steve with cleaning her up cuz he was doing all the laundry and everything from the trip and >> I don't know. I don't know. >> I've known these guys for all my life and they just came up. >> They don't want to take a break. They're on a mission. Who is >> these girls? They called chess. She want to do >> is she can she make her medical decisions? >> No. >> Are you >> I've been taking care of her for last. >> But are you her power of attorney then? >> Well, probably cuz she can't sign nothing herself. >> Well, do you have a legal document that says you're power of attorney? Is there anything >> just by just have her son? That's all. >> Okay. I know you guys supposed to be obvious or aware of things when you come into home. So I want you to know too that this is a BB gun and it doesn't even have the thing on. >> That's fine. You can just leave it up there, sir. I appre You can just keep it up there. >> I just thought if you seen that you were >> she normally coherent. >> Yeah. >> Anytime you >> She can't hear real well either, so she just >> Hi, Janice. >> It's freezing. >> I know, honey. I just want to look at you. >> Stop. What's up? It's too cold. >> I'm going to ask for >> It's too cold. Please. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Perfect. Thank you. >> Partner, let's grab the mega mover. >> We'll roll her onto the mega mover. >> I want to get a blood sugar first. >> That's sore on her back like that. >> This is son. >> Okay. >> So, sir, you just got here last night and you've been caring for her in Arizona. >> Yeah, for >> how has she been there? >> Fine. >> Because I'm going to I'll be 100% honest. That sore? Yeah, I was mad. She came up here to die. But she's not no pain. I don't have her on any drugs or anything. >> She's got no pain. >> She's got no pain as she's saying stop. That hurts. That hurts. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And she don't get pain unless you poke her. >> Okay. >> She needs to go in now, Steve. >> Well, it looks like you move out of the way. >> Oh my goodness. >> Yeah, I know. I >> need um a trauma kit. Stephen, do you have min You from Minnesota? You have Minnesota ID? >> No. >> You have Arizona ID? >> Okay. What was your middle name? >> Hey, Pipe, do me a favor. Have dispatch run these for me. Arizona supposed to be out of both of these people. The that this is patient up here, Janice. Okay. And then this is son who's in here right now. She's in pretty rough shape. Okay. >> Please don't let go. Let go. I don't honestly even know. She might need to breathe into >> I'm going to call it drama. Sir, I understand you're frustrated, >> but your mom is really uncomfortable right now. >> I know you're making her more uncomfortable. >> I'm trying to help her so she gets the she >> Now that is gaslighting. He's telling the EMTs they're making his mom more uncomfortable. Are you kidding me? And I wonder what he was saying cuz she started fussing about him uh being frustrated. What was he saying? Cuz they, you know, the thing kind of cut a little bit, but [clears throat] I just a monster. >> Let's not yell. Let's not yell at each other. >> How do you know Stephen? >> Uh we went to school and stuff together and knew each other all our lives. Great basically. >> But I just found out that they were in town last night. So that's why, you know, like all the Easter eggs and all that stuff and tools and all laying around like this. I really wasn't aware. And then I was gone basically all day cuz that's my plow truck out there. >> Janice, I don't just want to get you. >> I I didn't realize until I just seen just now her bed. >> What time did they get here last night? >> Just like God, I don't remember if it was just before or just after dark. >> Um, >> it was evening time. Janet, >> we're going to take care of you. >> We're here to take care of you. >> You're going to be okay. You're doing a great job. >> My leg is broken. >> I know. >> Please don't touch my body. >> Yeah, they're going to take care of you. >> I'm going to take care of you, Janice. We got you. We're have blankets in the truck. Okay. >> Make sure when they get to the hospital, they're documenting all of her wounds and stuff like if they can take photographs or not. We're going to try and send investigators down there. >> I got you. So, y'all obviously see that they they definitely are not letting it go and letting the son just be casual about this and just only taking her. Yeah, they're getting the investigators involved and the sun's got to go. My joy, my peace. I also like five minutes as well along with the son. I really would. >> All that stuff. Make sure it's all documented. >> You're fine. >> So, what what Stephen? What ties do you have up here to Minnesota? Why you guys want to come back? >> She grew up here. She was born in Grand Rapids. >> Okay. >> I wanted to take her back up to Grand Rapids to a hospice up there, but >> Sure. But she's not on hospice right now at all. >> No. >> Okay. What about what time did you get get over here at Al's place? >> Yesterday? >> Yeah, yesterday. >> I don't know. Slept over last night. We just got there last night. That girl came over about 2 3 this afternoon. >> The one that called us? >> Yeah. And how long has she had that wound on her back? >> Uh about five months. >> Five months. >> She got out of the she got out of a hospice uh legacy. She had a a hip operation last year. >> Okay. >> And she was in there for a couple months. They do her up on hydrocodone. And then after that she couldn't walk cuz she was her legs went to jelly. So I just checked her out. She had a little bed sore in her back about that big. It's been about 5 months now >> since that sore came out. >> Yeah. Yeah. I've kept her in a hospital cuz I fig they they all wanted me to check her in some place to die and I I could take better care of her myself cuz I'm here 24 hours. >> I can't believe that left his mouth. I could take better care of her myself. Wow. >> A day. >> I don't think >> all night long. She wakes up at 4 in the morning and wants help and stuff. >> Okay. Where do you guys live at in Arizona? >> Uh I got an address that we were at. We want what it was? >> Yeah, please. So, are you guys homeless right now? >> Well, we just got here. >> Sure. Sure. But you >> No, I'm living here. >> Sure. But do you have a permanent residence in Arizona? >> No. Well, we just checked out of it. >> Oh, sure. >> Were you renting? >> Yeah. >> Oh, I got you. >> Hotel three and a half years. >> Okay. >> Week to week. >> Week to week. Okay. At a at a hotel, you said? >> Yeah. >> You know where where are they going to be taking her? >> They're going to go to emergency. >> Okay. Cuz she wanted to stay with Steve and stuff, so he'll be able to get up there and see tomorrow. >> Yeah. did. Yeah, you'll be up to go see her and whatnot. Uh we're just trying to figure out, you know, what the game plan will be cuz she's in rough shape, man. >> Yeah, >> she's she's in super rough shape. >> Yeah, she came up here to die. I bring her up to a hospice. So, we just >> Where's Where were you going to bring her? >> Oh, Grand Rapids cuz that's where she she was born. We got a cemetery up there. >> That's where the hospice is. >> Well, I was trying to get one up there. I was going to call them. I got the numbers right here. >> And when you drove, she was laying on her back the whole time like that. >> Yeah. Yeah. She was real comfortable. >> Okay. What What car did you drive? Do you have one out there? >> Corolla there. >> Oh, okay. Is she a vulnerable adult? >> He transported her on her back in a Toyota Corolla and said she was comfortable. >> Vulnerable? >> Yeah. >> What does that mean? >> Uh like is she is the state deemed her like is she able to make her own decisions or whatnot? Has the state said anything about that? >> No. No. Uhuh. >> Arizona never said anything about none of that stuff. >> She was at a a little hospice they had there after she had the operation and then they let her come home. >> Okay. And when did her when did her leg break? >> Well, it's just not broken. >> It looked her right leg looked >> it just turned a little bit and I don't know if that's something to do with the operation or not. >> So, how long when's the last time she was upright and walking? How long has that been? >> Probably 6 months. Probably last uh what she Yeah. When she went I think it's August maybe. >> So, she hasn't walked in 6 months >> at least. And you're the one that's taking care of her only. You're the only one looking after her. >> Yep. >> Um and a couple of y'all said she's probably hungry. He probably hasn't even fed her. The lady that called the police on him and to try to get his mom help, she said she was trying to like let him at least uh she was trying to find like a baby's bottle to put applesauce in to cut a hole in so she could just have something to eat. So you you are correct. She wasn't even eating. You had no siblings. >> I got a sister who's got a big house in Chandler and she wouldn't even give her the time of day. >> She just don't give a, you know, so I was stuck with it. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I apologize all the questions. We're just trying to cuz it's not every day I come upon this kind of deal. >> Sure. >> You know what I mean? Cuz her the the abscess on her back. >> Yeah. That's why I wanted to get her here to Minnesota. I didn't want to put her up again there. Well, you don't know anybody out there often or or anybody. >> You don't know anyone out there? >> No. This is where we grew up and so she might like him. I don't you know I don't have no friends out there. >> But you've lived out there for 20some years. >> Uh 3 years in mot I lived in Phoenix for 20 years when I was younger. >> Yeah. It looks it just looks a little off. I don't know for sure. It just looked a little weird to me. So and I like I said I don't I just met her today. You know what I mean? I don't know you. This is the first time we're meeting, so I don't know the whole story. That's why I'm trying to paint the whole picture here of what's kind of going on. >> Well, if she had lied and said she had chest pains, it would have never happened. But we were going to go in tomorrow. I don't know what the hurry is. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, there I mean, people are worried about her. You know, I know I know you see her every day, so maybe it doesn't startle you as much. But >> for me, like I told you, it's out of the ordinary for me to come to a call like this. If I'm being frank with you, >> it's out of the ordinary. >> They don't take care of elders anymore at home. I thought a lot of people died at home taking care of >> people do. people take care of them. I'd say the and I think that's and I don't my opinion in the case doesn't matter but I think you see up this way especially more people are in assisted living facilities. Not that that's the right answer either. I'm not saying that's the right answer right >> but there are people that I know of that do have caretakers and >> yeah if I had a home >> PCA and whatnot. >> I've been trying to keep her at home as long as I could. Probably a little selfish because I love her. I love >> Wow. Probably a little selfish because I love her. No, you love alcohol. you love taking your mom's money and not caring about her health. I'm like, why couldn't it have kind of been It's not It's still not the best answer, but how could you not at least take care of her and then because you're taking care of her, you go get your whatever like how do you just not take care of her like at all? Um, yes. I believe if he said he's had his mom, he said, "I've been taking care of her the last 20 years, but then he goes back and says, um, I took her out the hospital cuz I can take better care of her." Um, but if he had her, he definitely had her in that motel, which is not taking better care of her, obviously. But, and then to say, "Oh, it's probably a little selfish cuz I love her." No, that's not that's not why you're you're >> I hear you. >> I know. I couldn't find any hospice in Arizona that was open that would take care for 24 hours. In the middle of the night, she wakes up at 4:00 that wants help. So, I don't know if they're not going to because she at 6:00 she's sleeping again. So, I don't know how they're going to help her. >> Sure. >> If she's got these certain hours, you know, >> but whatever is going on right now, it's got to be better than what was just going on cuz I just seen >> like I said, they investigated me. They had they had the nurses come. They had cops come. And the guy said, "You're fine. You're taking care of her plan. And I was I just She's getting worse and so I brought her up here to die. That's all. >> Why? >> Wow. Just just I brought her up here to die. That's all. I can't believe anybody says she looked fine that has seen her in the last couple of years at minimum. >> Said I get that if she's got stuff going on with her, you know what I mean? But but under under I mean like >> yeah, check her in the hospice though at some point. You know what I mean? or get that approved because that's that's a decision you and I just can't make. >> It's it's out of our >> that's why they >> it's out of our purview. >> They know the tricks about seeing having heart attacks and stuff like that. >> Sure. >> I don't know nothing about that. I don't >> Yeah. I don't I don't know. I don't know why they called. You know what I mean? All I know is that this >> Yeah. I do the best I can all alone and what the minute you know somebody >> I hate that cuz he didn't even have to do the best he could because she was already somewhere and he said he took her out of that place my joy my peace thank you I meant to say thank you earlier for the super chat as well um she says he took her out of the hospital and ran the sister's probably looking for him could be cuz I know he's bad mouthing the sister on here but I don't know he might he might not be telling her I mean he doesn't have a home so how she supposed to on him. >> Comes to help, this is what happens. And I get it, >> Steve. Do you get paid by the state to take care of her at all? >> No, you can't. >> No, it doesn't get paid by the state. There's nothing documented uh for her being vulnerable or him taking care of her. He just takes care of her. >> In the end, investigators uncovered that 64year-old Steven Alex Strait had been using his mother's money on alcohol and fast food while her most basic needs were ignored. >> I love her. I love my wife. Despite being trained to care for her, he left her in horrific conditions, lying on the floor with severe soores, broken bones, and infections that had gone untreated for months. A few days later, Janice Strait died from the consequences of that prolonged neglect. Steven Alex Strait was charged with neglect of a vulnerable adult, secondderee manslaughter, and seconddegree murder while committing a felony. He was ultimately found guilty on all counts, held fully responsible for the suffering and death of his mother. He remains [music] jailed, awaiting sentencing, currently scheduled for February 2026. Wow. I didn't know that that was that recent on his sentencing. So, that's actually coming up. That's crazy. Wow. Wow. Wow. Well, I'm glad the jury saw what we saw. Wow. Thank goodness. And I'm glad for all the charges that he had against him, too. Cuz at first I was scared it was just neglect uh for a second there. Okay. Yeah. Good. Sometimes finally we get one that has something going on at the end too and not just the crime that they did. Okay. This one um I had I I haven't done Tik Tok in a while, but one of my last Tik Toks was about a firefighter that had gotten waterboarded, beat up, abused by his co-workers cuz they were trying to get into his phone. And I don't know if it was something like incriminating on his phone or what, but they tortured this uh young firefighter. And I didn't watch it all the way through. I literally I think when he started describing >> when they when he started describing what they did, I stopped it and I was like, "Okay, I'mma wait to watch." But if you heard about that firefighter at all, this is the body cam footage that goes along with that. So, we'll be watching this together. >> So, I don't want my merch anymore. >> You can come this way. >> Okay. >> And he he did not die. He wanted to just keep going back to work cuz they were going to give him some time off. So, this is the last one, I think, where no one dies in the videos we're watching today. But he's been very much uh injured, traumatized, all of that. >> Hey, how are y'all? >> Hello. >> Gentlemen reported incident happened that we just wanted to go. I just talked to your watch commander, so it was in the county. Okay. >> Not in there and we're mandatory reporting it and then >> that's that's what we're doing. >> Okie do. >> Yeah. >> How did he get here? >> Cuz he works for us and we're when he gave us a statement, we came here to talk. >> Oh. >> And his fellow firefighters did this to him. And I don't know if this cop that's about to question him understands how serious the things that they did to him was because at the beginning which I didn't watch the whole thing. He started out like I don't know. It was kind of too light for me. I I don't know. I needed him to have a more serious tone for it. But >> John need like a bigger notepad. >> What's going on? >> Let me in on this confusion we got going on. Um, go ahead. >> So, we we called you guys because uh based on the information that uh firefighter has provided us, we >> believe that potentially a crime has been committed. >> Okay. >> We've run it through our legal department. Yeah. >> Our HR department. Okay. >> And um we feel it's like a mandatory reporting situation [snorts] and we want him to give you the >> Do I need a bigger notepad? >> You were going to need a bigger notepad. >> Go get me a bigger notad. >> You're going to need a bigger notepad. Um [snorts] And uh you know um >> good things. I left mine at home today. >> Yeah. Yeah. If you need anything, man, we we can hook you up. Um we want him to be able to give you his story and then have you help us >> Yeah. >> guide through this process. >> Okay. Just wait till he comes back on the notepad. >> Yeah. >> All right. All right, man. So, I'm Deputy Brown, deputy fountain. What you got going on today? >> The whole story. Just >> Yeah. Start from the beginning. Well, give me a little bit of why we're here and then we'll we'll kind of go back from there. So, um later in the night when pretty much, uh command like captain and lieutenant was sleeping, um they were like the rest of the crew were like trying to get in my phone, find my password and um so they ended up like taking my gear off and throwing my boots and then um >> they physically took your gear off of you? >> No, no, the truck. >> Okay. and then um threw it and then threw my boots and then I went to go get it and they >> like one came behind me >> and like held my arms and then dragged me over to like kind of where the concrete is in front of the bay and then um set day grabbed my legs and put me in like leg rock held my legs. >> Okay. And then uh after that um one of them took the phone in my pocket and like kept trying to lock me out and like they were like what's the password? They were like trying to get in my TikTok account and um so then um they took my belt off and then they were like turn like turn me to my side, but like they're still holding me. So, one has me. >> You're still upright or you're on the ground at this point? >> Okay. >> So, they're holding me and then he has like my legs held up like this and they're kind of like bending them so I can't go anywhere. >> You're like your knees >> like this. >> Your knees toward your chest. >> Yeah. Okay. >> And he's holding and um so he takes my belt off me and >> who who's he? >> Uh Tate Tate. Um so Tate, Seth Day. Um >> and we'll get all the names. I just wanted to see kind of >> Yeah. >> took my [snorts] belts off and um started hitting me with it. >> Okay. >> And then afterwards um there was a girl there. She was on a medic truck and she was like she was trying to lock me on my phone and stuff and she was like she locked out so many times I message that said like reset all your system data. Yeah, she >> was like threatening to press that and everything >> and then um they told her to look away and they started like pulling my pants off and then um they were hitting me again and then they said they said look away and then she was like still taking pictures and stuff and like she kind of like faked like this and then um they >> stop for just a second. Watch me and her um just said he's on his way to he just asked us to stop. >> Okay, >> cool. That's fine. >> That's not on you. Sorry. [laughter] >> I don't know why. >> No, I'm sorry to and I know this is a very serious situation. Just uh >> honestly, it's uncharted waters and we want to make sure we're doing all the right things and that we're doing all that together. So just to start off with um the reason you are here is about um Sunday November the 16th um se shift with um Seth Edward the crew daily allen um if you could just we want your side of the story. I know you guys start 8 to 8. If you could just starting at 8 a.m. kind of give us what that shift was like. Well, from start to shift, uh, it was just pretty normal. Uh, I don't like he's a float. He came from 12, so he was at our station. And throughout the entire day for the most part, uh, like him and Tate, they seemed like they were like really good buds because they were just kind of messing with each other throughout the entire day. uh even when we had dinner like was just making jokes about how he was Tate's boyfriend and all that. I thought they were pretty close. So, uh at one point they're even like wrestling with each other at the station. I don't know what time this was around, but uh they were just messing with each other. Uh the actual I think it was around 6 p.m. that uh me and Kaylee came back from a call and uh most of the crew was in the bay. Uh they were talking to uh just figuring out like his backstory and everything. Uh eventually he ended up talking about uh this Tik Tok account that uh he had. He made this Tik Tok video that went viral. He ended up deleting the video and uh all of us were just kind of just asking him about what his old Tik Tok username was. He said he didn't know, but he had a new Tik Tok usern name that we saw cuz he was using the Tik Tok app. So, we were all just asking him what the username was. He said he wouldn't. So, uh, at some point, I think he went and showed Kaye. It was regarding something else, but then Kaye tried to grab his phone real quick to go on TikTok, see the username. There were like almost like the entire station earlier in the night was um sitting at a table was like making a joke about um like how he had this Tik Tok go viral um and it I want to tell you when I read this news article first cuz that's all I had at first I'm like did he have something incriminating on y'all on this phone? it still wouldn't have made what they did right. But I'm like the level of viciousness that they took out on him. I thought he had recorded them doing something, but this is all over because he said I had a viral video and I deleted it. I don't want to show y'all my old account. It was like sort of like like a 2016 like thirst strap. Um we tried for like a long time. We were like, "Show us the Tik Tok." Um he ended up saying no. Like he deleted his TikTok. Like it's not there anymore. or he doesn't have it. Um, we started talking about something else. Um, and then I want to say like probably like 30 or 45 minutes had gone by. We were still at the table. Um, and was like, "Dude, what the is this guy talking about?" And I was like, "What? Like um, like what do you mean?" Uh because he just like sometimes randomly just says things and like about what? Um, and then he gave me his phone and he was showing me like these group messages about like another firefighter that was having sex with like a girl at the station or something like that. >> That was who showed you that? >> Gave me his phone to show me the text messages originally. >> Um, and then I believe it was Seth who took the phone from my hands and then that's kind of like where it all started. I don't remember how we came in possession of the food. Off the top of my head. >> Sure. >> Um and then we were trying to >> and see this pisses me off cuz now they all want to look meek and like you know wouldn't harm a fly but y'all were over here violating this man. And again they haven't it was in the title and I think I did see it in the article. They waterboarded him like they did a lot to him. It was a lot apparently that they left out in the news article that they did too. They kind of generalized it after they listed a couple things. They did a lot to him >> to tell us his TikTok so we look at it. >> Okay. >> Um and then I remember coming around the corner from cuz he chased after me and I ran. Um >> why was he chasing after you? I had possession of this boat. I I don't remember how I ended up with possession of this bone. >> Um but he chased after me and I ran. And then I remember coming around the corner and he was on the ground with uh Tate and uh Eddie. >> Okay. >> Edward. Sorry. >> No, you're fine. And is it Eddie Edward Kenny? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right. Um, and then I believe Tate caught a cold call and so I grab his legs and laid on the ground with him and so neither of us would go anywhere. Um, and I passed the boat off I believe to Kaye. But like I want to like like preface it for me like this is something that happens like every day >> like around >> and so like participated in like roughousing with Kenny and Tate and Seth before so I didn't really think that anything was going on. [snorts] >> Um and >> no you're fine. >> I'm sorry. Um, so Seth took over restraining the legs >> and you said Tate went to a call. >> Tate did go to a call. Okay. >> Um, he came back a couple minutes later. >> Okay. >> Um, >> like they were cancelled or something. >> They were canceled. Yeah. So Tate came back and then Tate took the phone and was standing over um um >> uh Tate was standing over was still at the uh hands and Seth was still at the legs. Um, Tate took his belt like off of him and like pulled down his pants a little bit. >> Like he was wearing the belt and he took out took the belt off his pants. Okay. >> And then he started spanking him like with the belt, >> which I'm not saying that it's like right that this occurs, but like this is something like that they do. >> Who normally does like this kind of stuff? >> It's just like small. It's like boys being boys. is like I do not get involved in this [ __ ] because it's just I like I'm not going to touch any of them and they won't touch me. >> So obviously like it's a different dynamic for me. >> Is it did this was this happening like before or after your call that you went? Was this after or >> something had to be out of the ordinary. There is rough housing amongst certain groups and then there's going beyond that to playing on torture and you can't I've heard that rugby players are like the worst I think. Um they're really really bad. Like really bad. I feel like hockey is the next one. But there's got to be a point where you're like this is not rough house. And one how well did he know y'all to even want to play with y'all like that? Um no means no. However it's coming. No means no. Um, don't start crying now. My joy, my peace. Thank you for being a member for 13 months. She said, "At this point, I would confess and snitch on everyone else." Yeah, but I also don't think you would have even been part of it in the first place either. And then it's concerning because she's either overgeneralizing it or the leadership is hiding other complaints because and I think I feel like did the chief did the fire chief or somebody get fired too because they didn't report it the right way and then cuz a lot of people got fired when that article came out. But um oh what was I going to say? Oh, I said she's overgeneralizing it or they're or they're hiding it because this level either they've done it to a lot of other people that are victims or they haven't ever gotten this severe and now you have definitely crossed the line >> after. Okay. So, you returned from your call at this point. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And who's all in that picture? >> That's me, Ed. Edward, Kenny, Bob Kenny, Seth, and Kayie. >> Okay. Now, is is um is Kaylee holding her phone? >> That might be his his meaning his Okay. So, and uh let me know if I'm wrong, but this is another person that we didn't see yet. This is a separate person from the the girl, the guy we saw. This the other guy. This might be the one that um took the call. This might be Tate or whoever, but this another person. >> When you get back, is he still in possession of his phone or does they already had it? >> When I get back, he already had it. >> They had already had it. They meaning Kaye already had it. >> Well, yeah, they already got it from him. >> Okay. >> Uh, were you aware of him ever like having the phone? Like because I get keep away was kind of happening it sounds like even before you left. But do you remember if he ever got his phone back and then it was taken again at least to your knowledge? >> But I thought we [music] went down and gave back to him. I'm pretty sure that was >> so Yeah. >> Okay. And I guess like the phone gets taken from they're playing keep away, right? But once he's um you know on the ground restraint, does he have his does at any point did he have his phone while he's on the ground and then it was taken from him? I don't remember. I'm gone. >> Ah, you remember everything, you liar. Thank you for the super chat by join my piece. She said bingo. I wouldn't be a part of that. Professor Deita Joe, thank you for being a member for 25 months. She said these were people he worked with and they tortured him. Yes. And yes, professor. Yeah, they are fellow firefighters and like uh Dean said, one of them's at least one was EMT. And yep, that's exactly what happened. It is that that's exactly what they did. And thank you for the super chat, professor. He do like the bully, right? >> Um now, uh in this picture also, it looks like Seth's kind of holding, um belt. Do you remember who removed this picture again? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And it doesn't look like he has his belt on, you know. >> Yeah, you can see the belt looks pretty. Okay. So, like did Seth is he just holding it or like h how did how did they get his belt? Was his belt already off when you came or >> I believe set took it off. >> Okay. Okay. Um now let's kind of progress from there. Like what what is happening at this point? >> So I know he got hit with the belt with the belt. >> Who who was hitting him with the belt? >> Seth was. >> Okay. Um now could you hear pop noises, snap noises? >> It wasn't like crazy. I mean, it was hard enough by him to feel it for it to hurt, but I don't know if it was like >> Do you think it was hard enough to where like it would leave some sort of like physical injury? I'm not saying like a like scar or like he was bleeding cause some redness of the skin. >> What is doing throughout this entire process? I mean, what is he saying? So he was like like obviously it sound like he was joking like >> y'all know he was saying stop or whatever he could say. Thank you Carla. >> Tate we're best fuds like you wouldn't do this to me while Tate was asking him about the password for the phone. >> So uh he asked for the password. He's like uh we're best buds. You wouldn't do this to me. And then he like would hit him. um when you say, you know, hey, he was telling Tate, we're best buds. Um why would you do something like this to me? Obviously then, you know, you you may have thought something, but looking back on it, because to me, just that statement alone kind of seems a little bit like, you know, he he didn't want to be part of that or something. >> Yeah. >> So that you know, looking back on it now when Tate's doing this, do you is that how it appears? cuz I don't want to, you know, >> well, like in my mind when he came back, it's like, well, I don't think, like you said, like no normal person wouldn't, you know, like I just thought that with them being close like, >> no, and I and I and I get that. And maybe >> as my elders would say, you thought like lit. And if y'all know the the ending of that, you know, censor it, but you put it in the chat. But yeah, you thought like lit because ain't no way. There's nothing else you could think if someone's like, "We're supposed to be close. We're best buds." That means something's wrong to have to say that. Like he's not okay with this >> than what you you thought then. >> And I you know, I understand that, but looking back now, hindsight's you know, 2020 obviously. Is that something that, you know, you feel that he he was just joking or that he, you know, was actually in pain and, you know, wanted Tate to stop? >> I thought I was so joking cuz he wasn't like actively like hurting him >> or anything like that. >> Now, what what was what was doing at this point? >> Laughing. >> That's why like >> they also need to be investigated, including the girl. They all need to be investigated for some type of sexual assault because if they don't recognize you need to stop, that means they don't recognize that in other parts of their life, too. And somebody's a victim somewhere else in my opinion because there's no way that you can ignore someone not wanting this action to happen. They need to be they need they need to look into it to see if they have other victims. >> I agree with God with 100%. But the whole time he was laughing and me roughed all day like back and forth wrestling earlier and got up and laughed about it and >> yeah like no issue. >> Yeah. All day like that. >> Okay. So um tell me more about what you mean like you think it got out of hand like tell me more about that. >> Probably mostly how long it went on. >> Okay. >> And hitting with the belt was probably uncalled for. But like thing I'd like to say to make me known personally is like that's the kind of behavior that like like stuff like that's happened to me before. >> Okay. Like specifically at that location >> at like work. >> Yeah. Like station 21. >> That's what that's what I'm Yeah. >> Yeah. Um so like in that similar or the same kind of things happen before. So when it's happening kind of I'm like that's the culture I've been shown. I got you. >> Throughout when I started here, throughout well, the past seven months I've been at 21. >> Okay. >> So, like that that kind of stuff has happened to me before, which is why I'm kind of >> and I get I get like what you're getting at and obviously, you know, that's not okay. Um, but in terms of, >> you know, we can obviously, you know, just from what you said, agreed it get it did get out of hand, right? So, you're saying just from when the belt happened that it got out of hand. >> Okay. The next thing that I remember like after the belt was Kenny I believe like got up and went inside. Um, and I'm assuming that means that like tape took over the arms. >> I don't exactly remember how it happened. And then Kenny came out. Um, and he had a towel and a jug of water. And then Seth was like, "Oh, like it's water boarding time." Um, which really um and then that's when I was like, "All right, this is because this happened like a week ago, too." Like this is >> the water boarding did. >> Yeah. This this happened to Tate a week ago when was there um and then I was under the assumption that Tate are friends from fire school. >> Okay. >> And Tate was laughing or was laughing when it happened to Tate. >> So I I don't like I don't know like at what point like it became like too much >> but I know that like they did put the towel over his head and then I walked away at that point. I don't know if they actually put water on him. >> Just so you know, um we've kind of talked to a lot of people at the station already. Um we've collected, you know, certain evidence. So all we're looking for is your side of the story and you know, most importantly the truth. Um because, you know, when people lie, obviously that makes me pretty bad. >> Um and and I get it. You know, you're saying you don't remember, you know, what happened. Um, and I I think you know, you may have more of a an idea as or even remember what happened after he was in a blood bar. >> Uh, I had him in the wood clock. Correct. >> Yeah. >> Um, that's pretty much that all I did. >> I don't remember the specifics on anything else. >> Okay. Did you maybe witness something else that happened afterwards? >> Um, I know somebody put a rag over his face. Okay. >> And I saw a thing of water. I said, "No, don't like let's not do that. >> It's a bit far." Obviously, now the whole thing was a bit far, but and then I believe shortly after he caught his call. >> Okay. And how do you know that, you know, there was a rack placed over his face? >> Uh cuz I could see him directly. >> Okay. Where was he at when this was all happening? >> We were on the We call it the trackway. >> Okay. >> In front of the trucks. >> Okay. that. And I know there's two sections of it. Is that the part where you're over by the um what is that? The uh the car that you guys kind of train with and then the um the dumpster. Okay. That's over there. >> Yes, sir. >> It's like the west side of the property. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> And um I know you mentioned uh something about, you know, some sort of some water being brought out. What exactly happened with the water or do you know who even brought it out? I don't I don't know who brought it out. Um I do remember they're not them not using it cuz I told them not to. Um or there may have been a few drops like as it went over his head but nothing they didn't pour it. Um and besides that pretty sure shortly after he caught his call. >> Okay. Do you know and who is they pouring the water even? I don't I don't remember at all honestly. >> I mean there's only so many of you at the station. Are you sure you don't remember? >> I I I don't remember. >> Do you remember what was used to pour the water over a set? >> I believe it was like we have picture plastic pitchers that we used to make coffee in the morning. >> Okay. Does it have like a top? >> No. >> Okay. So how and and if I'm you know kind of leading you in the wrong direction let me know. How would one, you know, dribble a little bit of water from something that has an open top, if that makes sense. It would kind of come out in a, you know, stay stream with it. >> I Well, sorry. >> You're fine. >> Um, I believe it was like moved over and then believe it was full. >> Okay. I don't know off the top of my head. >> Okay. If you don't know off the top of your head. Um, and where and so where were you when this was happening? >> I had I still had the leg lock. >> Okay. And I was there, but I was looking at >> Okay. Yes, he is boldfaced lying. He made it sound like until they asked where he was. He made it sound like he had walked away, which we know he did not walk away just like or I didn't see it or whatever. Just like the girl, I'm with you, my joy, my peace. She she didn't walk away. She was when she stayed there for them to pull his pants down. I think she stayed there for all of it. Now they're trying to separate themselves from the action. Now he's saying not a lot of water came out. Almost no water came out. Oh yeah, water came out possibly, but I didn't see it because I I And they said, "Where were you?" He still had him on the ground of leg lock. You were right there. You had front row seats. You know exactly what happened. You probably got splashed with the water like just lying. >> I wasn't looking around. Okay. But you you so you had him in the leg block, but you knew that the you know the water and the towel you know had been placed on him the water would be pouring on him to that extent. >> Yes sir. Cuz I from my angle I could see him and then I saw the rag and then I saw the picture I said. >> Okay. And then going back to you know when this whole thing first started and you guys are on the ground um I know you mentioned you you took over holding him down for someone. Who was that? tape. >> Okay. And then you said Eddie, we'll just call him that, but you know, Edward Kenny, where was he at when you took over? >> He was holding. >> Okay. So, in terms of, you know, I understand they had to leave um when it comes over to where the water and towel become involved. Um are these the same guys that are involved or is it >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, do you remember where you know Tate and Kenny may have been? >> No, I remember we were all in station. That's all it >> Okay. But and when I mean involved, I mean in part taking part of, you know, the towel being placed on his head, maybe still holding him down because I understand you have his his legs locked. >> Not to my knowledge. >> Okay. What What did you observe happen after the belt, after the pants come down? Um like what what how what did this progress into? And essentially what we're getting at is we just want you to tell us about the the picture of water in the towel. Yeah. Now, is this something that you got or sorry, >> I'm sorry, brother. Okay, that's okay. Um, >> yeah, you know damn well what you did. Yeah, you don't even want to say nothing else. It's, as much as you said, it's okay. Um, they were criminally charged. I don't know the status. I'm going to try to Google it. I got a couple more minutes on this video, but they were criminally charged, but they it's going to be a long process cuz this happened this year. The article came out like two months ago, maybe three. It's not that long ago it came out. Before we uh step out or anything like that, is there anything else you want to tell us? >> No, I'm just too stressed. >> Okay. Is there anything you need water? >> Okay. All right. Just you need anything just >> Yeah. Was this Did somebody like mention this and say like water boarding or like it's time to do water boarding or anything like that? Well, it' been a joke because like I said, this kind of stuff has been happening to me. >> Okay. >> So, it did happen to me. So, it's kind of a joke. It was like a joke. He He never actually got waterboarded. >> Okay. >> What happened? We were sitting there playing around. Seth had him by his knees. We were just kind of sitting there. >> Kenny walked in and came back out with a picture of water in a towel. >> Okay. >> And it was like, "Oh, I'm going to waterboard him." >> Okay. >> And all that happened was the towel got put over his face and that was it. >> Okay. >> So, nobody actually poured the water onto his head. >> I don't believe any water. >> Okay. >> Cuz we had heard different. We had heard water got dedicated. >> It didn't didn't sound like it was very much maybe, but >> um like did he did Kenny come up with like a full picture of one? >> Yeah. I mean it was still full afterwards so I don't I wasn't really watching that. >> How long do you think it it went on for? >> I don't 20 30 minutes maybe. Okay. >> I mean that's kind of a significant amount of time, you know. Um just to bring this up, you had even mentioned in reference to incidents that this isn't even something the worst that you've seen at a fire station. So that I mean that's why he's bringing it up. >> Something worse happened to me. >> Okay. To you. Okay. Um so it's something worse other than water boarding and getting hit with your own boat. >> What I'm saying is like didn't actually get waterboarded. The joke was because it actually happened to me. Okay. The joke about it. I don't remember how we I think we told him about it. We told him that happened >> and we were like, "Oh, like we're going to waterboard you." >> Okay. Um, >> did it happen at station 21? What happened to you? >> Okay. So, somebody from station 21. >> As a result of the investigation, the agency terminated 10 employees, including a battalion chief, captain, lieutenant, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics. Kaylee Bradley was charged with robbery, while Seth Day, Tate Trrowthwine, and Edward Kenny each face charges of kidnapping, battery, and robbery. Share Okay. Had it not offered the update, I was ready. I I was going to I was getting it, but he they did the update. Um it says they were the up to 10 people were fired because they they failed to report the incident. Um so they did know before it finally got reported to the police. Um let me see. Okay. Yeah, but that definitely it was hazing. Um and hazing has been more severe than that. We already know with um who's the one from is it Louisiana? I I see his name all the time and I still look for updates on him. Dillard Brandon No, that's the that's the fake veneer tech dude. Hold on. Caleb Wilson maybe. Is that his name? Um the one that just died from h Yeah, Caleb Wilson. Um yeah, hazing is it's it's it's dangerous. So, we'll see if they actually, you know, if it goes through with the justice system eventually on that one. They might do plea deals or something or we don't know. Sometimes, I mean, look at Aaron Stman. They just basically said, "Okay, just keep breaking baby's bones. We don't care." That's basically what they said in my opinion. The way that they gave her her plea deal. Oh my god. I'm still I'm so mad. Um, okay. On to the next one. We continue with the trigger warning. It's all in the title on this one. It says, "Evil mom beats her baby to death and blames the couch. My baby telling you you can't go back and then they just give you attitude. They will tell you what the best >> and put put on my cuddles and come back and my baby is limp like this." >> In a quiet Peoria neighborhood, a routine morning unraveled into a tragedy that shocked an entire community and launched investigators into a race for the truth. you the mom. Come on over. >> What's going on? What? >> I I don't know. I don't know anything yet. They just want us to keep us with you. Okay. They just want me to keep you with me. That way in case they have any questions about his medical history that we have quick, easy answers. You know what I'm saying? >> They won't even tell me what they >> I I know literally nothing. I'm so sorry. I wish I did. I'm so sorry. Let's Let's come over here. You got a child. My baby. >> I do. I got the telling you you can't go back there. I just gave you the >> You see this gentleman walking up? He He has more answers than I do. Okay. >> You'll have plenty of answers. >> Huh? >> Her name's Kalia. >> Rel Eh. What's his mother? >> Y ah. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, the reason they can't allow anybody back right now is cuz they're doing everything they can to try to make sure that baby's okay. All right. I don't know if you're back there, but there's 20 doctors doing everything they can to make sure your baby's okay. I haven't seen your baby. I don't know any of that yet. But >> you just got to hang out here with us until they do everything they can for the health and safety of your child. You understand? I know you're upset. This is really hard. I'm not taking that from you at all. But >> he's like the nervous like did she you the >> Hey, they have they have >> I understand. Listen, I'm not going to apologize for them. They got hard jobs, too, and they shouldn't take that out on you. But they're doing everything they can to try to make sure this baby's okay. All right. >> I just want my baby. >> Hey, >> dude. Can I get a >> Let's go over here. >> Here. Why don't we >> This is Detective Faulner who's have an update. I promise. >> But we can't even see there. Like I said, there's 25 people. >> Well, can I see something? Can I at least watch them work on my >> There's nowhere to go. They have We can't even go in there. >> They have the entire hallway full of people. >> Watch out. >> So, what what happened? >> Can you tell me what happened this morning? >> I didn't wake him up. >> Okay. What time did you wake up? >> All I did it was around and he ate. We laid in the bed for a while. We just laid down. We just laid down. When I get up, I go out there, bro. He follows me. My son follows me. I sit on the couch for a while. Sit on me. Cool. Now I go take a shower. I go take a shower so I can get the day started and get their food get their food ready. Like my >> they means that she has other children. I hate it for any of those children. >> He wasn't on the couch when I came out the shower from getting dressed. He wasn't He wasn't on the couch. He was in the place. He was he to be cute. He He was in the He was in the He went I guess he got out and went in the play in the play. >> Did he get in by himself? >> Yeah, it's a extra large play that come with a door that had a zipper. So then he can go in. >> You just leave the door open. Okay. >> Yeah, that's I see a lady like that. I don't know what happened. I cannot tell. >> Who else? That's a ghost. Is that your apartment? >> That's me. >> Just you and then the the two babies, right? >> Yes. Yes. What about last night? Did anything happen last night that you didn't think of? >> No. >> What all What all happened last? >> Only thing I did was last night I made them some hot dogs. They ate their hot dogs and we laid down. >> What time was that at? >> I made hot dogs around 8. >> 8:00 p.m. >> Yeah. And then they sleep around 9:30. >> I'm going to bring you back this way private family waiting room so that we can talk to you and talk to you all that talk. for eating. Are you on like hard food now? Are you still doing are you mixing anything or >> No, regular food. >> Just regular food. >> Well, my son, >> well, from back history, he came here before cuz he had some tucking under here. He was on the high, but that was when he was a little child, like a couple months old. That should be in his. Okay. Boom. I take him to the doctor every time I ask them. I ask them to check his breathing. They say, "Oh, his lumps is clear." Or whatever. I say, "Do we need a bre machine? Do we need a re treatment?" I always ask them this question. And they check his thing and say, "Oh, his lungs is clear. It's nothing to worry about. It's just allergies." Okay. I went to the shower. Only thing I did was got in the shower, did the regular lotion up face, all that, and put put on my cuddles and come back. And my baby is limp like this. I don't know what the happened to my channel. I'm just being honest. I don't know. I don't know. If before we even get to the fact of what she did to her child, allegedly did to her child, how are you going in the shower with a onego going on 2-year-old just freely roaming around the house? That's not safe for them. So, that's already irresponsible had that been the only thing. Um, and and saying you don't know what happened does not help you. You you left it. If that had have been all, you already still left your child in a dangerous situation. Then when I seen him like that, I'm like put like I'm I'm shaking. I'm shaking them. Okay. Put it Put the face under the water. I'm I'm trying to put some water on them. >> I don't know what happened to my child. I don't know. >> We are trying to find out why. You know what I'm saying? Then I even I even to make sure even cuz I was in the shower, I even put my finger down to make sure it wasn't make it was something in in his throat. It was I put my finger all the way down. There was nothing in his throat. They checked them up in there. They said was nothing in his throat. I don't know. I don't know. Somebody >> So then you call 911 or what happened? >> I I grabbed him and took him to the fire station right across the street to my from my house. That's what I did. So, was he down, face down, or was he just >> He was laid up like this. >> So, not moving at all. Not responding at all. >> Any other medical problems? >> Other than what I just told you other than That's all. That's it. That's all. That's it. A mother rushed into a Peoria fire station with her unresponsive toddler, insisting it was just a fall. But officers soon found his twin sister at home badly injured and her story started cracking fast. Doctor >> see I said it. I said I'm worried about the other child and here we go. So, oh my god, this woman >> later confirmed the trauma was deliberate, not accidental. [music] And as detectives traced the truth, the evidence pointed straight back to the mother. >> Only thing I did was gave them some Tylenol. I gave both of my kids some Tylenol because my daughter, what basically was going on with her is she had a little bruise right here on her cheek. And then she was crying so much that the roof grew and >> oh my god. And she expects them to buy this. My daughter had a bruise on her cheek and she cried so much the bruise grew and she expects a sane person to believe this. Then she it grew and then she was sitting on the couch and then she fell and then she got a knot up on her head. So I gave them gave them some Tylenol and I was putting ice up on my baby because her face was swell up and then by her crying her lips is cracking up and all that. So, I'm I don't know what the is going on. It's just like I don't know. Like, I don't know what's going on. I don't know what happened. I My son is like this. Then my daughter like I don't know what to do. [snorts] My daughter, she fell off the couch and she got a like her face like is like this. I'm trying to get my baby to like Oh my god. >> How hard is she? >> They both They are twins. They're twins. They They're one. They one they're going to be two August 1st. I don't know what the is going on. I don't know. >> Well, I mean, we're going to work through it. >> Has she been to the doctor since she fell? >> No, she didn't go to the doctor because she truthfully when she fell, she didn't even cry. So, but I still comfort my baby. I still was putting ice on my baby so her swell could go down and everything like that because she didn't hit no carpet. She hit like a I don't know if the floor concrete with the little layer over it or whatever the case may be. She had a definitely had a knot on this side and right on this side right here. She hit her whole face. Like she hit her whole >> had she taken her kids to the hospital with all those bumps and bruises, they would have already mandatorily reported her off of that because that's that's a lot going on with a one and twoy old, one going on two-year-old. All those a knot on her head, bruise here, another knot here. Um, thank you Teresa for the uh super chat. Please give me my God. Please please take me to my children. Please God, please. >> Now with indictments filed and arrests made, the case moves into the courts where a community waits for answers and justice for the twins becomes the driving force. Okay, that happened May of 2025. That's why they don't have a conclusion on what happened yet because that's also still in the court system. It's It hasn't been that long. [sighs] Let's see. When was this? This was two months ago. They could have a possible update, but like we saw with the um with the other ones, that dude that killed his mom basically, he's not even getting his sentencing until 2026. And I think the video was from 2024. So, okay. All right, y'all. Trigger warning again. It's the This is the title. Cops find 66 year old woman strangled with shoelace in truck bed. I have not watched this one. This was sent to me, so it's kind of a blind reaction on this one. >> Well, please just not be a body or something. What began as a routine hit and run spiraled into the unthinkable the moment an officer looked into the bed of a pickup truck. Inside was the body of a 66-year-old woman naked wrapped in [music] bedding with a shoelace tightened around her neck. In that instant it became apparent [music] that this was beyond a simple traffic crash. It's a case that was about to send shivers down the spine of officers, witnesses, and everyone involved. Just afternoon on October 27th, 2022, Roseville police responded to a hit and run at Hayes Road and Common in Meum County, a blue Ford Ranger had slammed into a semi-truck after running a red light and strangely the driver disappeared. Officers arrived at the scene and made contact with the semi-truck occupants who were still on the scene. and was hitting it uh heading southbound on Hayes on this side of Haze on foot. >> Okay. So, you just walked up. I have absolutely no idea what you're saying. >> Oh, no. I I was talking to him. Uh okay. I actually I don't know if I was like the first one to call, but uh picking my kids up. It's just we're sitting here and then I noticed that truck had a little bit of smoke coming off it. That student driver semi. And uh there was we were kind of stuck here in traffic and the younger dude that was driving was getting down pretty good on foot going down haze. So when I called the dispatch asked me for the plate number and I recognized that the plate was uh way expired. >> Okay. >> Were you involved in this? >> This guy. >> Were you involved? >> No. >> Hold on. Did you get in an accident? >> Yes. >> Okay. I need you to pull that further forward so it's on the curb so it's not blocking the road. Okay. The How you doing? >> So So what happened? >> Where were you guys at? >> So you were at what street were you on? >> Okay. You're north south. So, Haze, you were turning left onto Common Road. Okay. And what was that guy doing? >> Hold on. He was Where was that vehicle at? What road? >> So, it was on this road facing that way. Okay. So, you guys turn. Was that vehicle just sitting there? So, so what happened? >> So, was she sitting still? >> All right. What the uh person look like? Can you give me a description? Female. Male or female? I can't see. It's the reflection. Male or female? >> Female. >> White or white or black? I >> I'm not going to be able to see it with that sun. >> Okay. What does she look like? Just look at the picture and just describe her for me. >> Oh, Dor still is blocking her eye. >> Oh. You see the nose and mouth are nicely structured. Very nice. >> Okay. Is she a white or a black female? >> White female. >> Hair color. >> We can't see it. >> Bright. >> Brighten it cuz we can't see the picture. There's absolutely no damage cuz it hit the rear tire. That's hilarious. It hit the tire. >> It hit a tire. It's just got some marks on it. You got your ID? I guess since you're the the driver that took off. >> Well, I see an old very old tag on the plate, so I can take a Yeah. Well, whoever's driving it is a white female, reddish hair, shoulder length, took off. >> Yeah, Gabzilla. >> Probably Gabzilla. >> It says on me. >> Yeah. >> You don't want me to do the info for you? >> It don't matter. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> I was worried somebody hit my truck. >> No, you're okay. >> Can I do it? >> Nope. You're good. >> As much damage as on that thing, it hit the tire on the trailer. really. >> And it it did it like caused no damage to the tractor trailer. >> Uh somebody else's car. >> Yeah. Truck. >> They were turning and this car came flying up and hit the back end. Had the trailer of this truck. And then this person took off running. >> Yeah. >> Oh, they took off. >> Yeah. >> All right. The semitruck driver described the suspect as possibly female, wearing a gray hoodie. At that point, no one was sure of who the suspect was, and no one realized what was about to be discovered. [music] But as officers began an inventory search before towing the truck, everything changed. Well, please just not be a dead body or something. I was kidding. Hey, come here. >> I was just kidding. >> What? There's someone dead in back. >> I made the joke and then I wasn't hook >> there goes explanation. >> Jesus. What does that got to be like that? You show up to just a car accident, you know, okay, you got a driver, hit and run person, they done left the scene, and you you inventory the truck thinking it's just going to be normal stuff. Maybe you might find some drugs and then you find a whole body. I feel so bad for Oh, Lord, I can't even imagine. They I hope their therapy is free. It's probably not. Of course, it's not, but they really need it down here right away. That might be the only >> way. A >> I'm not going to touch anything else. >> Okay. He's landing back. >> You're going to want to um you're going to leave this for right now. >> There's there's someone dead in back. >> Okay. Yeah. I'm calling my dispatch right now. >> I got to shut this road down. >> Yeah. >> Shut the whole thing down probably. >> You know what? Hey, it's Elise. Uh, this accident, uh, supposedly a truck made a turn on the common road, uh, hit the the car. They said it was a white female that took off. Uh, we just found a body in the bed of the truck. >> Yeah. So, no, it's in it was in the it was Chris uh was doing the impound, so he started searching the bed of the truck for me and he found a dead body. So, I don't know if you 71's on the way. I don't know if you uh >> In the bed of the pickup lay a deceased woman with a shoelace wrapped around her neck. The street was immediately shut down. Cleanup stopped and a homicide investigation began. Okay. I need >> once he start turning, she just pulled right up. She took off. >> It's definitely I need I need that picture. I need you to screenshot it and try to email it to me. >> This guy was southbound Haze >> with the green light turning onto here. This car came flying up. Mid 20s, early to mid 20s. >> Wow. >> What color was the shirt? >> Uh it's red there. I think it's like kind of >> You tell me. I didn't look at this yet. >> Yeah. yellow. >> She wear like a like this color. Yeah, gray >> light gray shirt. >> She had a dead body to Callahan command. We've got a couple cars heading that way. Just let us know where it was. >> Okay, I'm going to try to send this. I'm trying to view. We got to brighten this up. We got >> She was last seen here. I got to talk to this lady up over here. She said she saw her, too. But >> video last seen. >> Yeah. See if you can get me a last scene. Oh, he said she run up that way. >> She run north. >> Any idea which way she took off? >> Yeah, it sounds like north on Haze. >> Whoa. >> Give me. >> All right. Say, >> can you give me So, she got out of the car and took off running. >> I don't know if it was a girl. She had a hood up. >> Okay. Um, it's not hurt if they got anybody available. >> My friend who was on with me in the car behind me said she booked it down Hayes. >> That way. Not that way. >> Chris, stay down there with your car. >> Yeah. Find out for sure. >> Okay. >> What was she wearing? >> Um, I think it was a white hoodie. >> So, light gray. >> Uh, did you see which way the person ran down Hayes? >> Was it towards 12? You went towards 12 >> towards 12 mile cuz the driver says she went that way. >> Oh, so they're saying where do you want me cuz I sit at the light while you walked. >> They walked right past that parking lot. There's like a >> need somebody to come up on Hayes here and sit on northbound. >> Did you see if it was a guy or a girl? >> It looks like a dude. >> Okay. >> Looks like a guy. >> Yeah, they were carrying like a con bag. Like a Coney Island bag. >> 37. Dispatch, I can post at the church. >> Any description? Anything? >> Do you have anything else? >> Wait. Approximate age. Do you believe it was a guy? >> A garbage bag of clothes out of >> Okay. If y'all start seeing her lips are out of sync. It's not my playback. That is the actual video right now. The audio is out of sync with when they're talking. >> Start auto. I'm in 15. Where you want me at? I'm 13 coming up. And you said he was carrying a con bag, like a like a a food bag. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> We got We got different descript We got different things here. They said it was a light gray hoodie. The hoodie was up and went that way. >> He says that way. >> Now we're getting a possibly could went southbound as well. >> Why don't we get somebody down at 12? We'll get somebody up at 13 on Haze. >> Witnesses began coming forward, but their accounts did not align perfectly. Some described the suspect as male, others as female. What remained consistent was the gray hoodie and the fact that the driver calmly walked away from a [music] truck carrying a body. But gradually the truth started coming to life. >> What time did you get out here, man? About >> a little after 12. like 12:15 maybe. >> 12:15. Okay. >> I think this came out at 12:09. I was going >> east on common >> and that was almost the gross back. So I turned around and came right up. >> So fairly quick, but then this was empty and I went over. >> The investigation shifted even more when a witness showed officers a Facebook live video of the crash aftermath. >> Yeah, we >> That's what I was going to say. Who had the video? because we're watching the person walk out of the truck. Okay. So, shout out to the young people. >> You should know how to do this stuff. >> Go to the app. >> What's going on here? >> If you go to Yeah, you should be able to do that and you should be able to email >> save to your videos later. >> Holy [ __ ] Holy [ __ ] This just happened. I don't know what's going on, but Whoa. The footage showed the pickup backing away, the driver stepping out, briefly looking toward the camera, grabbing bags, and walking off. Nearby, police located a duffel bag containing identification belonging to 19-year-old Steven Lee Freeman. Investigators reconstructed the hours leading up to the crash. Freeman was seen on surveillance approaching [music] the victim's apartment while a neighbor watched him pace outside for hours. Between 11:45 and midnight, cameras captured him making eight trips in just 12 minutes, loading items into the truck. At 1:41 a.m., the truck left without headlights. Inside the apartment, officers found signs of forced entry, recent cleaning, and bedding [music] that matched what the victim had been wrapped in. Apparently, Freeman broke into the victim's home through a window when she was not home. When she arrived home from work, pieces of evidence revealed Freeman sexually assaulted her and strangled her with a shoelace. After which, he dragged her to the vehicle. It's such a cruel way to end somebody's life, and the authorities ensure he didn't go scot-free. 2 days after the incident, Freeman was found hiding inside a car in Waterford Township and was taken into custody. During a jail call, officers recorded his conversation with his ex-girlfriend. >> What is the news saying about me? >> Huh? >> What is the news? >> What is the news saying? >> There's a lot being said right now. >> Tell me something. >> Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. See, I didn't I didn't know he did all that. Uh, wow. And for what? I don't understand people like this in the world. >> I don't even know. >> Okay, so then I need you to tell me what was going on. >> Until after court, dude. >> Well, you know, that's what I'm saying. Right. But there it's a lot being said like um they're saying that you were living with her uh like that the media turned you into a monster. >> So I was the one that was defending you in the comments and everything. >> Huh? >> It's there's like no audio right now. I don't know. >> Okay, there it goes. >> Woke up with your hands. >> I woke up with your hands around my neck. >> What did Okay. Did you told that to the detectives when I got you? >> No, bro. I'm waiting to see >> No, bro. I'm waiting to see a lawyer. I still haven't talked to my lawyer. I went to court today and still don't have a lawyer. >> That he woke up with the victim's hand around his neck was the closest thing to an explanation he ever offered. On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, Freeman was convicted of first-degree murder, first-degree home invasion, secondderee criminal sexual conduct, felony murder, concealing the death of an individual, and receiving and concealing [music] a stolen motor vehicle. I was hoping to see how much time he got, but yeah, these are all Everybody should go under the jail. I'm telling you. Okay, I think we're just going to have to end it here.
