You're literally going to break my wrist. As he tried to handle the situation, the woman's daughter and husband jumped in, further complicating matters. Well, you're maybe going to assault her more. Let her go. Why is she stand? Do not do not. You're pushing me, right? You're making it more difficult situation. We're trying to figure out and calm down the situation. Really? After he pushed her down on the ground, the officer's attempts to deescalate fell flat as the situation continued to spiral out of control. In the end, he decided to detain both the father and daughter, but this only added fuel to the fire. Turn out. No. Turn around. You're being detained. Stan, stop. Stop, ma'am. Ma'am, are you kidding me? Stop resisting. Please stop. Stop resisting. Brian, take him right now. Stop resisting. Listen. Listen to me. Listen. Okay. We're not playing anymore. Oh my god. This is Yeah, you're under arrest for resisting after we assaulted my wife. This is good. Great, dude. You're assaulting my mother. That's absolutely absurd. That's all right. Wait. I'm super claustrophobic. No. No. No. No. I'm super claustrophobic. No, you guys. Yeah. Here we go. Oh, this is continuing now. I'm not looking. That's great. No. No. Yep. I got you, babe. I got you. Yeah. No, just my muscles, man. Okay. No. No. This is based on your actions. I will do I will do whatever you want. Honestly, these guns, please. These are your actions. This does not have to go. Stop. Can I ask you one more question? Move your feet apart, please. I got you. Do you have anything on you that's going to pick me? Please stop moving for a second, dude. Like, I'm a college student. Can you stop touching me? You're going You're under arrest. I understand. What would you do if your wife is around the corner? I don't know what's all going on. Okay. So, how about just a little move to the left? No, dude. Stop touching my I'm not touching you. Don't touch my No, I checked your pocket. Touch me. Don't touch me. Grab that. What would you do if your wife was over there? Well, it sounds like she's resisting pretty good. Mom, stop. Mommy, pushed down by your guy. I saw it for Oh, it's all on board on this one. This one, sir. It's all on body camera. Okay, I got it, dude. It's going to be great. I can't wait to replay it. No. My god. Oh my god. Are you kidding me right now? Please, can you let me walk towards my mom? They are detaining her. She's under What the is up with that? I'm like 100 lb. Yep. I'm 100b. No. No. No. So, this does multiple things. This what prevents you from assaulting any other officers? You can't. Stop. Are you kidding me? Oh my god. Please stop. Please don't. Please don't. You get help. Mommy, wait. Can you pull the hair out of my mouth? Yeah. Like literally then just stop yelling. Okay. No. No. Please stop. Please stop. Don't roll my Let go of my Wait. No. Wait. More. More. More. I have more hair on my face. Please. Literally 2 seconds. We're going to roll you over. No. Wait. Can you give me more? And they're going to sit you up so you don't No. I know. I got you. She No, you don't. Stop resisting. What? Damn, stop. All right, I'm going to put you in the back of the squad for now. I'll talk to you in just a bit. Okay. But right now, we got stuff going on. So, Me, too. We got a lot of stuff going on. Yeah. With backup on the way, the mother only fueled the chaos, refusing to cooperate. The officer tried to get to the root of the dispute, but her response was beyond belief. Grab Grant's car. Bring it around. Pick her. Wrap her from get it. We're here to help you. Just I get it, but stop. Why are you doing that to her? Thank you for not doing that in my face. No, no, no. I would I would I give all respect. Trust me. No, no, no. I I have literally you her and I would literally Dude, I'm not even okay. We have to get We have to leave you down. Okay, just relax. Really? The reason why we do this is just for your protection and ours. Okay, but if people want Oh god. Hurry up. What's your name? She's fine. She's sitting up. Don't talk to me like you know what's going on. Hey. Okay. Move her purse so she Oh god. It's pushing. We got his car coming around. Are you not from around here? No, I don't live here. Can we get all your information and stuff? Nobody asked me anything. No, I'm not. Here. Look at me for honest to God's sake. We're going to let you stand up. Okay. Thank you. It is my senior night. But I um I require Yeah. No, I can't. So, hold on. You just if you keep talking to me, keep talking to me. Like, focus focus on me. Keep talking me. Are you uh do you live in like do you live? I live in Illinois. I go to school now. Okay. What's in a room for you? It's just it's like a breathe in, breathe out, right? You know it. You got it. You got it. Okay. Breathing. So, focus. Focus. Just be good. I'm going to run this. Okay. You and I'll talk. That's all it's about. Great. You just keep talking on me. Run with her. No, she's fine. She's She's with me. It's all This is a little bit little How did this all start, ma'am? Oh, just pushing back and forth. No, wait. My daughter and I It's No, it's more My daughter and I are just having a She go to school here. Yeah, it's her senior night. So, it's a joking league. Okay. So, like she bought shot. We didn't buy a shot. We're like, oh, like it was like, can I have you sit in the backseat of my car? That's fine. Can I ask one question? What's your question? What the does my mom look like? So, I don't know what they got going on right now. I'm here to help you out. Go ask them. I want to know before I get in your car. Please go ask them. We'll ask We'll ask him in just a second. Get in your car before you Then we're going to be standing out here. Okay. like a just a supposed to be a good night out, right? No. Yeah. No, no offense. Like we were just like not mad at each other, just going, "Oh, you should have bought. I bought like it's Nope. So, I can explain to you a couple things quick." Okay. Sorry, Officer Walsh. I understand. And I saw you. Okay, here. Just take a couple breaths for me. Okay. Joke. Why is my mom about my hair out of my mouth, please? in a non inappropriate way. Thank you. No. So, I'm going to explain that to you. So, the reason why she's like that is cuz she was kicking a lot, right? Right. So, that's what happens when people aren't cooperating with us. We put them in a device called Especially when she's kicking officers multiple officers multiple times. So, we put her in that device. Okay. Perfect. We go to my squad. Why am I in cuff? What did I do? You're distributed to Jana this time. She's under arrest. You're under arrest. All right. Let's go take a seat in my car. Right. I'm under arrest. Perfect. After a brief period to let tempers cool, the officer released the father, but the mother and daughter remained in custody. As he explained the process to them, it became clear that the woman's situation was only getting worse. Thank you. Okay. All right. And then I'm just going to ask you to just walk to the hotel. Okay. Okay. But procedure for getting them at this point. So, Brown County Jail, just contact their non-emergency number and then um you can ask them as far as We'll go this way and then they'll let you know or they'll contact you cuz they they have your number. I'll you gave me your number. I'll make sure they have that at the jail. So, then they can contact you. Okay. Okay. All right. So, otherwise the Brown County Jail is who you call. But they're going to get a phone call. They'll call cuz they'll probably be able to be released. Okay. Okay. So, um probably need a sober party to go get them though. Okay. Is she pretty cooperative with Yeah, with me she's cool. So, she doesn't want to see anybody. No, not at all. Um, she just wants an explanation to why she's under arrest. So, I told her that once everything comes down, we'll let her know. So, it's a few any other questions like, uh, it's usually probably an hourish. Okay. So, all right. Okay. Okay. Got it. Okay. All right. I appreciate it. All right. Thank you. And then I like I just would appreciate if you just go to the hotel cuz while we're dealing with this other stuff going on right now. What other stuff's going on right now? Just my stuff. No. Yeah, we have other investigation stuff going on right now. So, I appreciate it. Thank you. All right. Okay. Okay. Thank you. All right. Sergeant Magno, how are you? Okay. The reason why this is all is apparently my officer saw you and your mom pushing each other outside the bar. It didn't sound like it was anything major. But at the end of the day, when my officer tries to to stop you guys to make sure everything's okay, and it sounds like people are walking away, resisting. And I understand if mom um wants to act the way she does, that's where you have to be accountable for your actions, too. Just didn't like that. Like I know it's not easy. The reason why we do that is because we want to make sure she doesn't hurt herself, number one. And number two, anybody else that comes in contact with her. Absolutely. And that other I mean the way that you were acting, you know, that's why you're in handcuffs. I guess I just they'll bond him out if there's no felonies. Her boyfriend. Yeah, there's no um battery to law enforcement. Yeah. So that's no no just mom. Okay. So mom can't be bonded out. Daughter can y uh DCVO and then resisting. So 150 for DC existing I think is like 250 or something like that. Yeah. So that's the reason why you're and then when we show up there's lots of us. We're not trying to be or anything, but then when we're asking you to step back, then all of a sudden you grab onto that pole and you're yelling and fighting with the county officers. Well, we still have to control the situation. Okay. So, you're going to go with the state trooper here. You're going to go to jail for DC disorderly conduct and resisting obstructing. Okay. Any questions for me? I mean, what was I just I guess I just don't I I don't understand what I did. I just explained it to you. When we're trying to control a situation and it sounds like you're actively fighting and actively trying to prevent and then when we try to separate you guys and then all of a sudden you start fighting with the law enforcement. That is why certain things happen the way they did. So, we know that we're going to pick up. Sure. The mother was charged with battery on a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. The daughter was charged with disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. Unlike the previous case, this one was a bit different. Instead of getting physical, she tried to play it smart and cover her tracks. But the officer came prepared with evidence she didn't expect, and she went berserk, raising her voice in frustration. On April 26th, 2024, the officers responded to a call at a local store about a woman who had assaulted the store manager in Washington. On top of it, she had multiple outstanding warrants. I don't want you to dress by me. I need to talk to the people that this the other man called. Laurel, you're under arrest. So, I need you to put your hands behind your back for me. Okay. I'm not going to do that. You can talk to them. They called you. I'm waiting for the people that this man called. you also. So I need I have a I have a right to express explain what I I understood. I have a right to talk to someone about that and I have a right to conflict resolution. So you go talk to the person who called you under arrest. I am not interested in that. It doesn't matter what you're interested in. I'm not available for that. You need my rights as much as you need her. Put your hands behind your back. You need my rights as much as you need her. Put your hands behind your back. No, I'm waiting. I'm going to wait for help. 41. Good. Step it up. Uh she's verbally non-compliant. We've informed her she's under arrest. Well, talk to her. Understand? What did she say to me? What What are exact words? She said that you punched her in the face. Okay. What happened before that? I don't know what happened. What happened before that? You also have warrants for arrest, Laurel. You need to put your hands behind your back cuz you're under arrest. Okay. I'm not I'm not I want to talk to someone. You are under arrest. I want my rights. Where are my rights? I'm a little girl more than she is. You understand? There's six people that showed up after she harassed me verbally. Six people. She told me what to do. She harassed me. She like uh said a bunch of things that were very rude. I don't think that person should be around young women. I don't think that person should touch young women. And I don't think that person should understand what's going on. She was very rude. She was very assertive. She acted like she understood me. And she had six people show up and like uh stare at me. One being a 300 lb man who's 7 foot. I need you to face the wall for me and put your hands. I want to talk to a conflict resolution. I don't want to I don't want to handle the other things I have to handle. I want to talk to conflict resolution and I want to understand why she talked to me like that. She is not welcome around crazy people. She is not welcome around young women and she's not welcome around the public. Did you did you talk to Are you with the the man who called? Are you with her? As you can see, the woman tried to cover up her wrongdoings and change the subject, but the cop wasn't having it. Soon enough, she had to face the consequences of her own mistakes. Stop. You're under arrest. Okay, knock it off. Okay, you under arrest. You've been You've been told you're under arrest. Knock it off. Laura, calm down. Calm down. You're under arrest. You need to calm down. You done fighting? You need to You need to calm down. Are you done fighting? You need to calm down. 911 911 911 911 911 911 I want conflict resolution. 911 legislative conflict resolution now. Legislative conflict resolution now. 911 911. Innocent conflict resolution now. Now 911. innocent conflict resolution. Don't walk through my car and we can search for her. Don't believe not touch anyone ever again. Alex, these cups are probably too loose on this side. Those cups are way too loose. Get away from chill out. You're the fire. You are the You are the You are the You are the man. You are the You do that. I don't where is your where's just for you we you people the hood and then we can I think you need to do a good job not a man's job I think you need to do a good job not a man's job not a man chill out is not what I understand you are when you say chill out you're the in the face of a young man who doesn't understand. Um, that was not trying. But maybe you have that one. I think you have a race problem. I don't think you have a woman health. We got You're going to hurt yourself. I um I'm not I'm not in compliant when I move and I don't need three officers to do this. One could have done it. Stop doing this. One could have done it. Um there's there's like there's critical information on that. I think you should take it out. Can you throw Can you take that out? I'll grab it, but you Well, throw Don't grab it. Take it out. Trying to take out. That's not going to work. Laurel, get in the car. Don't say anything other than what? Laurel, you're underestimating the fire. 911. Laurel. 911. Knock it off. 9. Do not spit on me. Well, you deserve it. Grab a foot. Dude, one of you guys have a wrap just in case. Just in case. I got leg restraints, but she's in my car. Do you want me to put this? Do you want to put this on or um I can't breathe very well. I think you're okay. We're in my laundry. Don't you please tell them not to use those words. Chill out is not appropriate. Okay. And talk to those people. They six of them. The officer then spoke with the manager to get a clearer understanding of what happened and gather details. After what the woman had done, she found herself in big trouble. So, she was sitting there. My team's been calling me up at the office. So, I was watching her talk to herself. I'm like, "Okay, she's talking to herself. I'll be down in a minute." So, I and I then I heard the yelling so I could hear it upstairs. So, I brought another guy with me, my assistant. So, we went to go approach her and I was about right here. I said, "Hey, can you come here with me?" Mhm. And she started she was yelling and then I said, "Ma'am, can you come out with me and we need to go outside and she's yelling at me and then she stands up. I said, "No, you need I get firm with her. You need to come outside." I think I was standing right here. You were here. And then she starts walking towards me. I'm like, "Come on." And I start walking this way. And then she just came up to me and just punched me right here. Um, and then of course after that it was just kind of like, well, she got into I I thought she was going to punch you guys. Got into your face. Yeah. Uh, I didn't know if it was a actual fist, but the girls said, "Yeah, she fisted up." And Yeah. Um, we try to lock the doors cuz she kept coming back. We have it all on it surveillance. Yeah. We'll we'll come back and grab video from you guys. Can I take a quick photo? I noticed there's not any marks or anything. It might produce some I've never been punched before. So, it was very shocking. And now I'm I'm at work. I'm like not deal with this. So, if you audio and video record me that you are uh liable to be taken taken to court, taken seriously and taken to court. I'm I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the rights time to talk to a lawyer and have him or her be present in question or hire a lawyer. You are under uh legislative concern for uh decide at any time to exercise your rights and not answer your questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of rights I've explained to you? You are under a legislative concern for use camera and a voice recorder of me. Lauren, do you understand the rights I've explained to you? Um I heard you. Okay. Actually, I didn't hear you very well. Would you like me to read them again to you? I can read them again to you if you'd like. Laurel, Laurel, are you going to listen if I read you your rights or no? Okay, I'm going to take that as a no then. Uh, I'm also going to read you a trespass warning from Safeway. You are no longer permitted, invite, licensed, or otherwise privileged to enter upon a main above location. And not Safeway. You understand you may not for any reason enter main above locations for one year. and that includes the parking lot and gas pumps. Chat, the woman was charged with assault and resisting arrest. While the woman thought she had the upper hand and tried to defend herself, our next suspect, Jennifer, was entitled and clearly about to snap. On January 31st, 2025, an officer from Illinois received a call about Jennifer acting strangely and refusing to leave after being asked. When she became problematic, her coworker called the police. Nothing. I I was telling my supervisor nothing's going on and she told me that I seemed out of it and I was like, "I'm tired. I work two jobs. Like, it's Friday. Like, I have to go to my other job, my yoga studio, and clean up and go to work." Sure. That's it. That's understandable. And that was it. And that was it. Um, did did you physically go after anybody? Did anybody physically go after you? Um, they just I just kept asking them like, "What's wrong?" Like, "I didn't do anything. Like, what's wrong with it?" And I I just kept pleading to them. I'm like, "I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything." And and that was it. But it wasn't anything like me being aggressive to them or at least I didn't think it was being aggressive. Did anybody put their hands on you? Uh, no. Okay. Okay. And you didn't put your hands on anybody else? No. Okay. Um, how much sleep did you get last night? I got 8 hours. You got 8 hours. What time did you start this job today? Uh, it would have been at 7. So, 7 in the morning. So, when I woke up would have been 7. By the time I got here, it would have been 8:00. Okay. So, and then you work what? 8 to 8 to now. 8 to now. Okay. Mhm. All right. Um, has this ever happened before? They've never approached you? No. Okay. Oh, this is new. Okay. Have you had anything to drink? No. Okay. Do you are you somebody that does drink alcohol? Occasionally, but not today. Not today. Okay. Um especially not because I'm working. Okay. So, that's never something like you would go on your lunch break and maybe have a drink or anything like that. Okay. No. What about um any type of like medicine you're on or anything like that? Nothing. Nothing. Okay. Nothing. So, you just feel tired? Um could be, but this is every Friday. Like this is something. Do you have days off? What are your days off? No, I mean I'm Monday through Friday and then I So when I go and clean at the yoga studio is Monday, th or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So it's not like it's just today. Okay. So you just feel overt tired? I mean, I feel normal. Okay. This is this is your normal. Yeah. Okay. You don't know why they think you did they say anything as to why they thought you looked maybe not abnormal? No. Like you didn't fall asleep at your desk or anything like that? No. Okay. Would you tell me if you had anything to drink and I didn't tell your boss just so I know medically what I'm dealing with? Yep. And you're saying no alcohol, no type of drugs or anything like that? Yep. Uh yes, you have or no you haven't? No. No, you haven't. Okay. No. Okay. Um, you do seem a little off to me talking to you, but I don't know you. You seem a little like slow to response and your eyes are very glazed over. Um, were you crying at all? Yeah, I was crying because of what they accused of you of. Okay, sure. Yeah. Okay. I'm sorry. I didn't even ask. How old are you? I'm 32. Okay. So, you're 32. Okay. How did you get to work today? By myself. I'm like coming to here regularly. Yeah. Okay. And you didn't drive or anything like that? I mean I drove. Oh, you drove? You did drive. Of course. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Like I drove here normally. Okay. Yeah. Um Okay. So, I've got to talk to my partner. This is kind of a I got to make sure nothing criminal happened. I don't think anything did. As you can see, Jennifer wasn't being completely honest. Her slow responses and bloodshot eyes suggested she might be under the influence. The cop tried not to provoke her, instead focusing on getting her to comply with the procedure. I have to do is make sure you're good to drive. Okay. Okay. Um, so you would be able to pass some field sobriety test or I could just get a PBT and you could blow into it and it should show all zeros, right? Or is it not going to? No, at that point it's that's whatever you guys think. I just want to show you to drive. Sure wouldn't want you to get behind the wheel and then have an accident. And you don't need that in your life, right? You don't need a DUI cuz you could leave here, head yourself into another town and then something else bad happens. So, if I gave you a PD test, would you blow zeros or no? You can just shake your head yes or no. I don't care. And I'm not going to tell your boss. It's not It's not my place to tell your boss. I mean, it's not your place to tell anything. My concern is you don't drive if you've had too much to drink. I mean, I'm fine right now and there's nothing to Would it be okay? How about this? Would it be best if you called a friend or a family member or an Uber to to have you leave for tonight and come get your car later? Sure. Does that sound fair? Yeah. Okay. I like that. I appreciate that. Okay. Um, but let me go talk to my partner and we're going to try to get out here. Do you have your ID on you? Yeah. Let me get it. Oh, no, no, no. You don't have to get it. Just I don't want you to have any confrontation with them. I'll just write your name. Is it Jennifer? Yeah. What's your middle initial? Um, G. G. And your last name? Sanchez. S N C H. However, there was more to the story, and her true side was about to be revealed. The cop arrived at the hospital where Heather cared for elderly patients. However, she wasn't prepared for the officer's arrival. Seeing him, she made a mistake. Hello there. Hi. Are you Heather? No. Oh, okay. Are you Tammy? Why won't you tell am I here to talk to you then? I guess I don't know. Okay. Is that your car right there? Yeah. Why is there a big dent in it? That was there before. Uh, Heather, this is going to go probably a lot smoother if we just get off on the right foot and you just tell me what happened, okay? Because here, before we say anything, we already know you were in an accident, okay? There's people over in the roundabout. There's people over there that gave us your car and your plate number, okay? So, let's not pretend that that was already there because there's going to be no police report. There's going to be no documentation. Okay. I'm here to find out what happened, how it happened, and we'll go from there. Okay. Okay. Okay. So, let's start over. You're Heather. Mhm. What's your last name? Heather. That's your car. Yep. Okay. What happened today that you got the big dent in it? Where's the big dent? So, why are you still here then? Cuz I still have her as a client. Okay. Like you are with her for the day or what? Um, no, until 11. Okay. So, what time did you get here with Cammy today? Okay. Is that pretty normal? Heather quickly realized she was in big trouble. As the officer and witnesses gave statements against her, she became very agitated. With the odds stacked against her, her behavior only made the situation more tense. Having you're helping Tammy with whatever she needs today. Okay. And part of that is going to get her groceries from Walmart. I help her shop, do whatever I have to do. Leave. That's why I'm saying like it doesn't make any Okay. You think I would know. The police tried to be straightforward with her about the situation, but the woman was more concerned about her job and reputation. As she tried to save it, she only ended up with regrets. First of all, you don't even have a driver's license. That would be the first thing you did wrong. Then we probably can keep going from there. You're under arrest for obstructing right now, so I'm going to search you. I didn't do anything wrong. Like I there was no hit and run. I swear to God. Why are you looking at me like that? Cuz everything you basically told me was a lie. It wasn't a lie. I'm sorry. It was. That's cuz all I was doing was smoked a cigarette. I know. Yeah. So, what's the problem?
