Not like you guys haven't already done enough damage. You got it hurting me. It's awesome. I love it. This is so amazing. Drag me. Go ahead. Drag me over this way. Pick him up. Yeah. Pick me up. Meet 39-year-old Chong Yao Weldon, who completely loses control when the cops arrive at her house. What is that? Good. Put your hand behind your back. This is so not right. It all began on September 20th, 2024 when police responded to a report involving 39-year-old Chong Yao Weldon. A man claimed she entered a business and splashed a drink on him. When police arrived at Chong Yao Weldon's house to question her about the incident, she responded with sarcasm. Heat. Heat. Champagne, please. [Applause] Hello. Are you Janice? I'm officer of Champagne Police. Um, so reason why I'm here. Do you know someone named Why? Well, he he said that um a couple Saturdays ago, so it'd be on the 14th, September 14th, that he went in the store and threw a cup of water on him. You remember that? Why are you guys here about that? I'm just here to talk to you about it. Okay. Cuz this is a normal matter that police typically handles. Mhm. This is people looking up liquids. Mhm. So So you did pour the water or throw the water in that day. A few days earlier, police visited the location where Chong Yao Weldon had splashed a drink on a man to gather a statement and piece together what had happened. I wasn't sure they told you what was up. Do you need backtory? Do you want I know backtory. I talked to you on the phone for like an hour one day. Hello again. Yeah. So, um I have the name of the two people that were in the store cuz it was just me, two customers. I was in the back. I'm clearing off a table cuz I sold it so picking it up later. Take a picture of those numbers. Yeah. Yep. and they were like, they were like, "We don't want to go to court or anything, but we'll answer any questions or whatever." Um, she has a ban notice here. She has a court date. She has a court date on the 15th from spray painting on my property. Officer Boes, B O G. I had a picture of that, too. Yeah. Um, Bo is really cool. And we followed up and he kind of got her to admit when she did this criminal property damage and he was like, "You got to court date." He came by and told me right after he done with her. So, I'm assuming he didn't. He just said she got a charge on her and a poor date. So, I was assuming he did that. But, um I was basically right at that right at that entryway there and I saw her approaching me. And I just walked by her cuz I was like, I want to get her out of the store. She's mad at me. She's going to yell at me or whatever. She'll follow me. Took about two to three steps, got right to about where she is, and she just chucked this drink at me. I'm fine. Like I'm not like my neck hurts that cheap. I had them I can obviously see your spilled on you. Yeah. Yeah. And I had these two took a picture of me cuz And then I just got done mopping and there's like little red dots on plants done cleaning off. She actually uh on my turn table too. All that's clean. But I'm just telling you all this cuz I'm kind of pissed. And it's minor as it is. If that's a salt or whatever, I I want to do whatever. I mean, batteries she threw. As you can see, when the cops decided to arrest Chong Ya, she struggled and screamed, insisting they were hurting her. She continued yelling, calling the officers psychopaths, and claiming she was being assaulted. Okay. All right. Well, go ahead and step out here. We're going to be placed you under arrest. Okay. Stop. Stop. Stop. What is that? Put your hand behind your back. This is so not right. Okay. You're under arrest for battery. Okay. Oh my god. I'm not resisting on top of that. So, you need to cooperate with this. Okay. No. No. I'm not doing this. I'm not No, I am not doing this. This is ridiculous. Do you want to charge for resistance? I don't care. This is ridiculous. He assaulted me. Nobody did anything. Nobody wants to. Oh my god, you guys. Stop. Get off me. Off me. Not like you guys haven't already done enough damage. Keep at it until hurting me. This is just awesome. I love it. This is so amazing. I got this hand if you get that. Get off my hair. What the is wrong with you people? Oh, no. This is not you. Stop. No. Exploring break my ankle. You guys are going to get a bunch of the psychopaths. Oh my god. You're pardoning me. Let go. Stop resisting for throwing a cup of water. Oh, and knee me in the groin. Oh, because I'm being assaulted by you now. Everybody just gets to assault me and I'm getting to go to jail. This is so amazing. Love my life. Love this community. You guys are so good at doing your jobs. You're welcome to move. I will. Oh, so do a search. Officers conduct a search before placing Chong Ya in the patrol car. She complains of a sprained ankle, but despite being urged to cooperate, she continues making dramatic statements. All right. Okay. I'm just searching you. Okay. So, just cooperate. [Music] I'm going to use the back of my hand to search your bra. Okay. Don't even have one on. I have a sprained ankle. Get off of me. [Music] You good? Yeah. I got control. [Music] I'm going to break my wrist. Okay, your wrist is fine. No, it's not. How can you feel what my feels like? Can you feel what my wrist feels like? Do you have that capability? Cuz that would be [Music] amazing. Take a seat. But first, you There you go. You got to put your feet in. Put your feet in. Can't move my ankles. Frank. Do you guys take everyone who pour water on people to jail? Can I have the statistics of that? It's battery. No, it's not. Can I have your I couldn't hear what you were saying on your sergeant please. Okay, you have any questions for me? Ideally, you want to put on first if you can fit them on there on top on top. And these are double teeth [Music] as well. A little bit more twist and trying to get things happening. They're always resisting and twisting too. You're going to do whatever the you're going to do. Nothing that I say or do. None of it matters. None of it makes sense. So just go about your business in you are going to be going to jail but I want to make sure we take care of your baby. I don't have numbers. You have a phone, don't you? You have a computer, don't you? That's really relevant. Yeah, it really is because that's the pile that I'm in right now. After somebody assaulted me. [Applause] Upon arriving at the jail, Chongya remained uncooperative. Officers called for backup to assist with her intake as she continued to resist and make combative remarks. [Music] A heat. Can I help you? The CPD. I got one female. Aw, and she's combative. You said two combatives. One. One combative. It's the same person, right? Yes. Okay. All right. Come on in. officers out there. Yes, you got them. All right. Hey, what are you going on? Chong Ya Weldon was charged with simple battery, aggravated battery, and resisting arrest. While Chong Yaoa put herself in a tough spot with the cops, our next suspect followed the same path, but took things even further with a more bizarre action than expected. But really quick, everything was refunded. What about your debit card? My card that I had I had like $200 worth of cash stuff in there, too. Was it were you used on your EBT card? No, I only had like Well, everything else No, what I'm getting at though, anything that you use your EBT card for was ref was all even worried about that. Well, I'm just making a point though that because they have to refund it with the card in hand. Okay. Everything else can be digitally or whatever electronically done. Okay. So, this while we're sitting here and the other thing too is this because I'm not a medical professional because I don't know your diagnosis when it comes to the asthma or anything like that when it comes to the uh the inhaler. I cannot administer it. I'm not allowed to. Okay? I'm physically not allowed to. Just I promise if you free this hand, let me take one. I really am having a hard time breathing. All right, hold on. Hold on. I promise I'm not. I know. I'm not saying you are. The issue The issue is this, Amy. I'm not even mouthy. I'm just I'm scared. The issue is this, Amy. What I'm making a point is that there are you have rules. Well, there are also people that say things. I'm again, I have to go based off of my prior experiences in seven years of doing this job of people saying, "Oh, I need it." And then something else comes up. Okay. I promise you. I need to verify that. Hold on. Okay. I can't have my inhaler. The issue is this. Oh, you turned off. Okay. My apologies. The issue is this and and this is coming bound to to to basic people in our custody. Were responsible for them both physically, mentally, and also medically. Have a nurse. I I understand that. Okay. But what I'm getting at though is this, Amy. The faster we get down there, the faster you will see a nurse, and the nurse will let you administer it. Okay? They will be able to verify the prescription that is given to you. Okay. I I'm not allowed to to do that. Okay. I can't I'm I I just I would lose my job. I need a tissue. I got snot running down my feet. Oh my god. This is embarrassing. We're going to work. This is a 7m minute ride probably down there. Okay. It'll be very quick. I will make it as fast as possible. I will turn the AC on. I will get you some cool air blowing back on you. Okay. Sure. The best way to do it is if you can sit on one of your left or right head kind of twist your body. No. No. There you go. Just like that. Okay. It's a little bit of a lean. Okay. All right. I am not a threat. I promise you with my hands I don't think you are a threat. Okay. It's our policy. Okay. I can't breach policy. Okay. Hey. Okay. I just wanted to get [ __ ] my son. The paperwork on our end has been completed. Okay. So, what that means is that I didn't get to see what that lady wrote on that paperwork. Hold on, Amy. I'm going to open this up so I can talk to you. You can hear me better. Okay. Okay. So, what that statement is, that's a it's called a sworn statement. Okay. um she swore and affirmed that that t the statement that she gave was true. Okay. Um that statement will be placed into I I don't know how aware you are. So I I'm just going to go off of maybe you don't know. It's called discovery. Okay. That's that's that's the the state case file that is against you a aka the defendant. Okay. So that will be all presented to you um in your quote unquote discovery packet. Okay? So there'll be a packet of information that you as the defendant have the legal right to be able to witness with if you so choose to have legal counsel represent you. Okay? And that legal counsel or you or however you want to do it. Um because you have multiple different, you know, rights or options if you will. you'll be able to review the documents and see what she wrote down. Okay. Um it's our job in the law enforcement setting is the woman was charged with theft and other lararseny related offenses. Meet Erica, who thought running a red light was just a minor slip up. You should place your hands behind your back now. Okay. Someone take this bracelet off now. Okay. On August 21st, 2021, an officer observed a green passenger vehicle speeding through a red light, prompting an immediate traffic stop. Little did he know, this stop would lead to far more than a simple citation. The officer stopped a woman for running a red light and began questioning her. However, her answers became suspicious as she gave conflicting information about her name and address, claiming she had lost her ID during a confrontation with her ex. Hello. Hi, my name's Officer Thumman. The reason I stopped you was because you didn't uh stop with that red light and continue to the intersection. Really? So, you failed to yield. So, you pulled out and uh we still had a green light for westbound traffic. Did you notice that when you hit the brakes? No. Okay. Where are you coming from today? Okay. I'm headed to Huh? Where you headed to? Um to my house. Okay. Do you have an ID with you? I don't. You don't have Do you have anything with your picture on it? No. Okay. Do you have a debit card or credit card? I'm assume you paid somehow with for that. Yeah, I paid cash. Okay. Do you have a receipt for that then? Um, no. That was just Okay. No, I see that. I see that. You don't have anything with your name on it, though. Okay. What's your last name? Um, M A L A K O W S K Y and Taylor's first person. Taylor. Okay. Just remain in your vehicle. Okay. 3178 does have a K9. [Applause] Ran a Taylor and Michael. Can you find a photo and send it to me? Can I get an additional unit as well? [Applause] Hi. Hi. Any luck with that? No, he said he doesn't have insurance. Okay. Would you be willing to step out of the vehicle for me and talk to me? Yeah, no problem. Okay. So, I'm trying to put the pieces together here. Okay. Um, first of all, do you have any weapons on you that I should be wear? Would you allow me just to patch you down? Make sure you don't have any weapons on you. No knives or anything like that. Okay. Okay. So, why don't we step back right here so we're not in the middle of the road. Okay. So, just be honest with me. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think that you are who you who you say you are. The the photo that I looked at doesn't look like it's you. It was issued in 2020. 2020. It also doesn't come back to a Rinlander address like you had said. It comes back to a different address. All right. Well, I parks. Correct. Right. Right. Well, I haven't moved to I mean I moved to So, are you who you are? I mean, just to be straight with you. Yeah, I am. Okay. Um, it just looked different than what the I've dyed my hair and stuff since then. Okay. Okay. And that's why I'm asking these these additional questions. Okay. Is there anything that you can provide to me to to to show me that who you are? I have a lot of my stuff in Rylander still. Okay. You don't have like a debit card, like a food card. I've been pretty now. I just came here because I'm trying to find a better job. Okay. What do you have in like your wallet? Like do you have anything in there with your name on I just like social security card. I was dating this guy and he was kind of crazy and he ended up throwing like my purse like into the dam. We're down there like I don't have anything. What do you know your social security number? Not off the top of my head. Okay. Oh my god. I really Sorry. Sorry. So, is there any other What's the address in Park Falls then that that would um It was on First Street. I believe it was one of the streets cuz I I was staying with um my old boyfriend. Or was it Fourth Street? I I don't know off the top of my head here, but I would hope that you would know, right? It was like one of the one and a half streets. You know what I mean? Okay. Um like I said, I don't know the address off the top of my head. I just know it didn't come back to a Rander. And the photo that I looked at didn't look quite like you. And that's why I dyed my hair since then and stuff. And it was only issued in 2020, so we're talking about a year ago. You know, I didn't look at the exact month. The cops tried to document Taylor's details, but something seemed off. The officer then asked her to step out of the vehicle for further questioning as the K9 unit had alerted to the presence of narcotics in her car. Okay. So, you're you're telling me you're confident that that's who you are? Okay. Um you don't know your social security number? Not. No. And do you have your card with you? No. I like I said, my my boyfriend was really kind of crazy and he we broke up and he threw my purse in the day. I'm actually over here in Lassa. Okay. Yeah. And I'm detecting a slight odor of like a toxic beverage. Have you been drinking at all today? I can take a breathalyzer. I've been drinking. Okay. I I thought I I got a whiff of something, but it could have been cigarette smoke or could have been something else that that with the wind, but um Okay, Taylor, why don't you just have a seat in the car? Okay. And you're confident that you that that's who you are? Yes. And you don't have anything to provide with your name on it? No, I wish I did. I have to go down to the DMV here. Yeah. Okay. All right. Just remain your vehicle. Okay. All right. Thank you. So, I was able to get a DOT photo issued in 2020. She has nothing with her name on it. No debit cards, no credit cards, nothing. And this um her name is Taylor Malcowski and she says she's from Ryland. I said, "What would the address? What's your old address?" then comes back to a Park Falls in her DOT, but she gives me a Rhinelander address and I look at her DOT photo and this is what I got issued on in 2020 and it does not look I mean she's got two lip piercings now. Uh it just doesn't look very much like her. And I pulled her out of the car just to ask her if she's willing to come out and ask her some questions related to that. Just saying, "Hey, are you are you confident that that's who you are? What's your social security number?" She doesn't know it. Doesn't have a card. I just it it just seems like off, you know? She seems older than born in 2000. She's very nervous, very fidgety. Um, shaking. Yeah. Hey, how's it going? Always forget how big of a beast this dog is. Yeah, I don't think she's given us her real ID yet. So, I think we second opinion on looking at her. I mean, let's see the photo one last time. Just Yeah, just there's a lot of based on everything you're telling me. Okay. I mean, unless there's going to take long. Yes. Is that front or back? What's that? Front or back door. Front passenger door. Okay. Thank you. [Applause] Hey, ma'am. Would you be willing to step out of the vehicle for me again? Okay, thank you. Let's step back over here so we're out of traffic again. Okay. So, um the reason I'm asking you to step out of the vehicle, the K9 did alert to the presence of a narcotic or illegal substance in the vehicle. Um let's step over here so I don't get hit by a car. Um is there anything in the vehicle that we should be aware of? Okay. any needles or anything that's going to poke us while we're Shouldn't be. Okay. So, we're going to be conducting a search. Okay. He's not my car. Oh, I understand that. So, why don't we step back to the front of my vehicle? Okay. Okay. So, and again, just to confirm your information, I guess you are who you are. Is that what you're saying? Yeah. Okay. Um just cuz it gave me some second thoughts and and like I said, that DOT photo that I looked at was issued in 2020, so it's not too far or too long ago, right? Um when did you get your piercings? I was originally like in the last 6 months. Okay. Where was that at? Downer. In Rinlander. Okay. Um and and is there any other information now that you thought about it? Do you know your social security number? Okay. Do you know what that address would be in Park Falls that you were last listed as? I think it was like four. The cops thoroughly searched Erica's car, discovering shocking items. As they continued, the officer found even more drugrelated substances. I mean, your hair is the same color. I get that. Yeah. Um, actually, dye a little bit darker. Okay, just hang tight. If you want to lean up against this, you can. Okay. Yeah. I just want to address something with her here now. Okay. So, Erica, why why didn't you tell me your name first? Taylor. So, who's Erica that's on there? Um I don't know. I think that's my friend Doug. Erica who? Um Bowman. Bowman. Okay. And you're confident that when we're doing our search, we're not going to find an ID or anything else that with your name on it like I've asked for four times? Um yeah, I'm actually lying. Okay. So, who are you? It's not my first day out here. Dallas. Okay. What's your last name? Fran. Okay. Why didn't you want to give me that information? Okay. So, is there any other reason why you didn't give me I have healing in my lender. Okay. Anything else? Okay. Yeah. She has about $500 cash. So, I think we can justify taking that with this. Yeah. And 10 of those baggies, too. Are they individually packaged? There's a handful that are individually packaged, but here 20 40 60 80 100 one two three 60 80 100 She's got $500 here. 501. So, I'll let you Well, let's finish the search. Yeah. I want to continue here so I can talk to her. So, 501. This was completely empty, so be careful. Yep. Yep. I need Oh, that's just these. Okay. [Applause] Oh my god, so much makeup. So why' she say she lied? She's got a PO warrant. All she does, she did sister's name. So appropriations, right? If her sister wants to pursue charges, 100%. If you can't get a hold of sister, you can still pass it and let the DA toss it if they want. I've done that in the past. This door is pretty uh loose if you see your I don't know about your side. I haven't got to truly playing on the door, but I'm noticing the uh fuse compartment has a bunch of fuses missing and wide open. Crap. Yeah, I just found a ticket for Erica in here, so that's why I ran her. That's why I asked her right away. I'm like, "Hey, lot of knives." Can you stand up for me, please? Can I have a cigarette? No. Can I what? I have a cigarette. Are you just here now? Yes. Do you have anything on you that I should be aware of? Okay. So, can you step in front of my car here? I'm going to search you. No needles. I think it's going to poke or hurt me. Good. Yeah. News. Yeah. So, just some change here. Yeah. Try not to get them all on the street. The last thing I need to do. Yeah. The cops searched Erica for more clues and then questioned her. Her confession took the officers by surprise, ultimately leading to her being taken into custody. Will that go in my book? So, stand by with me cuz I still have to, you know, process everything that's here and talk to my partner that's that's finding a lot of the money. Okay. Is there anything in your draw that I should be aware of? No. Okay. like this. Oh, sorry for that. So, feel free to have a sig. Okay. Um, talk to me about the half ounce of meth in there and the needles obviously, right? Yeah. Go ahead. I'm just my on and off addict, you know. Sorry, I put I'm just having an addict on and off for like my whole life. So, talk to me about the cash now. Just over $500 or so of cash. Um, and all the individual baggies. I mean, like I said, it's not my first day out here. I'm not I don't sell drugs like that. I really don't. Why do you have a whole baggie? Small individual baggies. It's It's not even like that. I'm pretty sure there's a scale in there, too. I just want to make sure I'm not ripped off when I buy stuff, you know. The bags, you can't buy bags individually, so I just buy one, you know, like just get them in my shop, you know? So, are you willing to talk to me about where you got that from? No. Are you willing to talk to anyone about that at some point? So, is there anything else we should be looking for in the vehicle then? I want to be able to document that you're cooperative with being honest, right? Yeah, that's all it. So, I'll let you finish that thing. Okay. I appreciate you being decent. Right. Okay. Would you give us Yeah, you can sit on the curb. Would you give us permission to park your vehicle on the street right here on Oak? Otherwise, we'll have to get it towed from where it is. I can see it. Good. Okay. You just place your hands behind your back. Okay. So, I'm going to take this bracelet off now. Okay. I'll make sure it goes in your belongings. All right. Yep. Anything else that you'd like to be in your belongings? That was okay for you. So, your charges at this point, Erica was cited for running a red light and booked on four charges, not including her probation warrant, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a scheduled drug with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized use of identification.
