All right, get this together here. So, we are watching um we're finishing up day one uh oh of the pre-trial of Jarvis Buts who allegedly, you know, unalive Naziah Harris. And this is his former girlfriend. Well, this is his sister, but she's leaving the stand. His former girlfriend is uh about to come up. uh mother of one of his daughters. And so that's where we're starting. I will have some commentary throughout and uh yeah, we're gonna go ahead and get started. Make sure this is playing right. >> Last witness for today. Correct. >> At this time, we will call Latricia Johnson. Raise your right hand, Do you swear to tell the truth, tell nothing but truth? >> Thank you. Good afternoon. Would you please state your name for the record? >> And how old are you? >> Um, and I don't want to know your exact address, but what is this? What street do you live on? >> I drive. >> Okay. And what kind of vehicle uh did you drive uh back in January of 2024? >> Blue Nissan Central. >> Okay. And do you recall being interviewed uh by Detroit police back on August 30th, 2024? >> Yes. >> Okay. And That was in relation to a Jarvis spots. >> Yes. >> Okay. Do you know a Jarvis Buts? >> Yes. >> Okay. And um how is it that you know Jarvis Buts? >> Um he's my daughter's father. >> Okay. And do you see Mr. Butts in the courtroom today? >> Yes. >> And can you point to him and tell me a color of the clothing that he's wearing? >> He's right there and he's wearing green. >> And you know what the record has identified the defendant? >> Thank you. And you said that he's your daughter's father? >> Yes. How old is your daughter? >> She just turned two. >> And when did you meet Jarvis Fox? >> Um 2019. >> And how was it that you met him? >> Um I had a flat tire and I went to his auto shop and now you said you have one daughter with Mr. Do you have any other children? >> Yes. >> Okay. What other children do you have? >> I have a son. >> Okay. And how old is he? >> He's seven. >> And that is not a child by Mr. >> Now, do you recall um take you back to February 15, 2024? Do you remember that day? >> Yes. >> Okay. And uh what happened that day? >> Um police came to my home asked me if I No Jarvis. And have I seen Naziah? >> Okay. >> Before. >> All right. And um did you uh I guess did they do anything at your house when you were there? >> Um they search miles. >> Did they ever search uh at on that day? Did they search uh your vehicle? >> No. >> Okay. Um >> they just looked in there. Um they didn't do it. I don't know if that was you call searching inside. >> Okay. Um was there ever a time that you allowed Jarvis to use your vehicle? >> Yes, one time. >> Okay. And which >> two times. Okay. >> Can you speak just >> two times? >> And which vehicle was that? >> Okay. And um I showed you a PowerPoint. >> She went right back to talking low after they asked could she speak up. She said two times a little louder in the microphone then went right back to talking low again. That's why I have this caption on >> um of 197 photos of a Nissan Sentra. Um >> do you recall seeing those photos? >> Yes. >> And Hold on. Oh, sorry. >> Yes. Uh, do you recall me showing you the photos uh of a Nissan Sentra before? >> Yes. >> Okay. And um in showing you those photos, did your did those fairly and accurately depict how your Nissan Sentra looked back on uh August 30th, 2024? >> Yes. >> Okay. Now, did it Well, first I'll move for the admission of people's proposed exhibit 11, the PowerPoint of the Nissan Central. >> Any objection? >> No objection. >> It be as people's exhibit 11. >> Objection. May I public? Yes. I agree. This is a fair assessment. Le's grandma says she's talking low because she probably didn't want to be there. I know I would have been embarrassed. I agree. She's definitely giving just I want to be as small as possible. Get this over with. I don't want to bring any attention to myself. Yeah. And if uh and y'all saw the title, this is uh former girlfriend of Jarvis Butts and she has one daughter by him. And in case you aren't familiar with the trial, Jarvis Bus is on trial for allegedly unaliving Niah Harris, who was his girlfriend's niece, former girlfriend, cuz I don't think they're together anymore either. Um, even at the time of this trial, I don't think they were together. Actually, they weren't together. Even even when Nia was alive, I don't think because I think he just came he supposedly just came by the house to pick up the kids. It wasn't like they were necessarily seeing each other cuz that's cuz they said he rarely was in the house and all this other stuff. But yeah, so that's who we're looking at though is one of his the mother of his daughter. Now, when you let Jarvis Buts borrow your vehicle, um, did it look Oops. Sorry. Did it look um >> Oh, wow. Okay. So, there's the damage on her Nissan Sentra, and it's cracked the bumper. The lights are hanging on by clear tape. And this is somebody that, you know, his profession is supposed to be fixing on cars. And this is how this lady's car looked. So if it's important to the court, I'm guessing it's important because it's suspected and being used to do whatever he did to Naziah on that one day possibly or something like he was going off road. He was doing something. I'm I'm guessing because first time watching it, so obviously one at some point my questions will be answered. Maybe not till trial, but right now they're just they're asking the questions and everything. But yeah, this looks crazy. Deep scratches, dents, cracked bumper. Again, clear tape holding the tail light together. >> Look, did it look um how it was photo? >> Um the back was messed up, but the front was good. So, back in January of 201 >> Okay. The front is crazy. So, she's saying the back was like that anyway. Wow. >> 24. Your car still had the front end? >> Yes. >> Okay. Is that the only difference in how it looked uh from? Yes. >> Okay. So, that's the only difference in how it looked from January of 2024. >> Yes. >> Okay. When is it that Mr. Butts um >> uh borrowed your vehicle? >> January 9th. >> Is that the first time? >> Um yes. >> Okay. And you said there was the second time? >> Yes. >> When was that? >> I think it was either the day next day or the day after that day. I don't remember. >> Okay. The first time. Let's talk about the first time. Um, how did it come about that he uh borrowed your car? >> Um, he called and asked if he can use my car to do something with his son. >> Okay. And when is it that he or how did he get your car? >> Um, I didn't get home till about 9:00 and he came to my house. >> Okay. Okay. So, he borrowed her car on January 9th. Naziah was last seen on January 9th, 2024. Okay. And then she said he also borrowed it possibly the day after that. >> Is that 9:00 a.m. or 9:00 p.m.? >> 9 p.m. >> 9:00 p.m. Okay. Um, you said he came to your house and picked it up? >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, to your knowledge, um, did Mr. But say how long he was going to borrow your car for? No. >> Okay. Did you have a reason a time where you expected it back? >> At least two hours. >> Okay. Um, when did Mr. Butts return with your car? >> Um, the next morning. >> Was this normal? Abnormal? >> No, not normal. >> Not normal. Okay. And did Mr. Butts say what he was doing when he had your car? >> No. >> Okay. Did you notice anything different um about or in your car after his use that first time? >> Um no. >> Okay. Did you notice anything in the back seat that was different? >> Um there was a pair of glasses that was left that my son was playing with at the time. >> Okay. And I'm going to show you Sorry, I want to go back to what she said. Her son was playing with a pair of glasses cuz I don't know if she said sunglasses or just glasses. >> A pair of glasses that was left that my son was playing with at the time. >> Oh, she said pair of glasses. Okay. >> Okay. And I'm going to show you In people's exhibit 11, photo 37. >> Where at would your son um be sitting? >> On the passenger side. >> Okay. In the passenger seat. >> On the back seat. >> So, You can kind of see it better in photo 41. Um he would sit behind the passenger seat. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um what uh describe the glasses that he was playing with. >> Um I believe they were clear around the frame part. I don't know what the ends look like, but I do remember they were there. Okay. And I want to show you what's already been introduced as people's exhibit 12. >> Yes. >> Is there anything in uh people's exhibit 12 that you recognize? >> Um the glasses. >> Okay. What how is it that you recognize those glasses? >> Um they were clear like that. my son. >> Okay. Now, you said your your son was playing with them in the back seat. Um, how did you get them from your son? >> I told him to give them to me because I didn't know what glasses they were. >> Okay. Um, how is it that you ask you go to ask or come to ask Jarvis about these glasses? >> Well, my son was playing with them when I was with Jarvis at his shop. >> And what's the So, I guess >> the next day I went to the shop. >> If you saw my thumbnail, you can see that Nazia is wearing clear frame glasses on my thumbnail. And also, if you're following the case, you're very familiar with her in her glasses because that's one of the pictures that uh floats around a lot. So, just to recaping uh so far is that Nazisa went missing on January 9th. Jarvis Buts, who's on trial, asked uh his one of his baby's mothers to borrow her car on January 9th, and he also needed it a day or so after January 9th as well. It came back super busted up in the front. the back. She said she had recognized like that. So, I don't know if she means it still came in around that time or her back was already messed up, but the front, she said the front was not always like that and the front was very, very, very busted up. Um, and now her son, who was sitting in the back passenger side of her car, the Nissan Sentra, was playing with a pair of clear glasses that really, you know, obviously they're leading to the fact that those would be the glasses Naziah was wearing. and my son after picking my son up from school. Um Jarvis was seen his daughter and my son was playing back with the glasses. >> Okay. Um from when Jarvis had borrowed your car and returned it to you picking up your son from school, had anybody else borrowed your car? >> Okay. So you're at the shop. Um you see your son playing with the glasses. You take them from him. >> Is that a yes? >> Yes. I'm sorry. >> Okay. Now tell me what does what does Jarvis do? >> He snatches from me and say those were his sunglasses. >> Okay. >> Okay. And do you think anything of this at the time? >> No, I just thought it was his sunglasses. He said he was taking his son somewhere in the car. >> All right. Um now the second time that driver is asked to use your car. You said that was either the ne the day after or the or the next day. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um tell me about how that comes to happen. >> Well, he comes to my house when he get off work. He comes by to get my car say he needs to use it again for his son. I said, "Okay." And he wasn't he said he wasn't going to be gone for that long like he was the time before I said, "Okay, he's only gone for like two hours, two to three hours." >> Okay. And are those the only two times that he ever used your car? >> Yes, I believe so. >> Okay. Um, were there times that he would be in your car with you, but he would take him places? >> Yes. >> Okay. Have you had any contact with Jarvis since uh he turned himself in on February 7th of 20124? >> Um yes. >> Okay. And what was that through? >> Um phone calls, text. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you recall? Um, >> thank you, judge. And please, I hope this helps us hear her better. Goodness. >> A phone call in which uh Jarvis asked you some things about your vehicle? >> Yes. >> Okay. And you've heard that call before? >> Yes. >> Okay. And was that call that I played for you, was that a fair and accurate depiction of the call that you had with Jarvis and him asking you about the car? Yes. >> The admission of people's proposals 13. >> Any objection? >> No objection. >> May I publish? >> Yeah, it'll be admitted as people's exhibit 13 and you can publish. Can I also see exhibit 12? And for the record, this phone call is 6 minutes. >> Baby Peaches said it didn't help that she held that mic. I'm like, she somehow made her voice lower. The mic, she's cradling the mic. Ma'am, you gonna have to speak up. You got to just you got to talk about it. You're here. You need to speak up. And I need to know why why did she answer his calls? I look actually no. I can't understand cuz what what he's suspected of. No, we're not answering calls. We're not No. So I like What do you mean you got texts and extra phone calls from him? Unless the police told you to answer it so they could get more information about the case or something. What do you mean? You didn't get what she said. >> This call is subject to recording and monitoring. The inmate has requested that you pay for this call. If you don't wish to talk, >> thank you for tell me. >> Anyway, >> oh hell no. He sound real casual with her. He uh like like he just knew she was going to pick up. He asking for favors like he know she's gonna do them. What is going on, ma'am? What What is going on? Cuz the way he did it wasn't um I don't Okay, y'all saw his demeanor when his sister was in the courtroom. If you watched that before, he is in there like I know she's just going to do what I asked her to do. That's what his tone gives. Just coming in. No, how are you? I'm so sorry to bother you. Nothing. It's just this what I'm going to need you to do. 3275 [Music] Hello. >> Uh 207 uh 217. >> Huh? >> I'm so sorry, but I'm human. I just want to say so she's a low talker in general because I can't hear her on this call and she not on the stand right on the call. I cannot hear I mean I hear her mumbling a little bit. She I think she's repeating back the number now but she's a low talker. Hello. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Yeah. Can you hear me? >> Yeah. >> What the [ __ ] going on, man? Everybody [ __ ] >> You said what? I don't know what the [ __ ] going on everybody [ __ ] >> Oh, hold on. Who is this on the call that that has all this extra volume in their voice now? Is that still her? >> Everybody [ __ ] Yo, everybody house. They come to my [ __ ] >> I don't even think they know of me. I need you to anything anything that I have anything that I touch that's just for yourself man anything anything about me man your goddamn self you feel Yeah. >> Huh? >> Really? >> Yeah. So, I go to my house. >> Yeah. Oh, that makes sense. Okay, so Okay, so Baby P just said I think he had her call someone else. Do you think the louder voice is the someone else that he had her call? Um, also this is giving me flashbacks to listening to Neesto and that girl Sonia was her name. I think their calls. I'm also getting a little bit of YSL flashbacks trying to listen to their calls and understand what they're saying. I'm like just recap it for me. So I hope one of these attorneys recaps the calls cuz I don't know what's going I mean I hear it but all this mumbling. [Music] I didn't like [Music] >> Huh? >> Mom car. >> Get her car. She got to go home. Use her car. >> Okay. Okay. >> So, don't you smell that? >> I don't know. I don't know what's going on, bro. You need to use your mama drive around, man. Trying to fix something, man. Your brother cares beyond me. I don't know what the [ __ ] man. [ __ ] I don't know. my phone. >> They got my phone. They got my car. They got they got they guns. They got they I don't know what the [ __ ] they >> What the [ __ ] that got [ __ ] to do with me is what I'm saying. Got [ __ ] to do with me now. I'm not understanding what the [ __ ] is going wrong. You feel me? [Music] I'll call you later, man. Wrap my head around this [ __ ] This [ __ ] start to piss me off. >> Okay. >> Oh my gosh. Didn't Wow. Um, so you're pissed off. He has a history, for those that don't know, he has a history of violating minors, including one of his own daughters. I don't know if she's the mother to the daughter that he he violated. I I actually I'm just trying to watch it as it goes to see how things are happening, but to be pissed off that they're going through all the stuff and that you're there is crazy. And he got Naziah pregnant. like he was googling how to terminate pregnancies and stuff like that outside of a doctor doing it and stuff like that. Like he to be pissed off is crazy. That's that's just a crazy thing to be. You need to he I don't know. I don't know what to say with a monster like that that somehow still has the audacity to be pissed off that his things are being searched and uh people around him stuff is being searched. substitute later. >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Hello. [Music] You have just done your regular job. [Music] >> Yeah, my regular job. 6:45. All right. Okay. I think I did hear that one extra person say, "How are you calling me?" or something like that. Which l goes back to like you said, uh, she probably he gave her a number to call to call in so he could actually call the person he meant he wanted to call or whatever. Um, that that phone call just was mumbling. I don't know. It's so frustrating. We'll see what the attorneys say or what other questions they have. >> What is it? What did you think when when Jarvis told you those things? >> Um, I didn't know what to think when he told me those things. >> Okay. Um, what did you do in response to receiving this call, if anything? >> Nothing. >> Okay. Did you clean anything up? >> No. >> Did you wipe anything down? >> No. >> Okay. And that would be in your house? >> Yes. House, car, >> everything. Didn't touch a nothing. >> All right. So, just to clarify a little bit, >> Jarvis borrowed your car on the 9th. >> Yes. >> Brought it back the 10th in the morning. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> About 6:00 a.m. or so or in the morning? >> In the morning about 8:30, 8:00. >> 8:30. >> I was taking my son to school. >> Okay. And did he borrow it later that day again or the next day? I can't remember. It was later that day or the next day. I just know he did it again. Good afternoon. >> Now, you indicated that you knew Mr. But since 2019, >> correct? You met him at the shop, correct? Yes. >> At his shop. >> Yes. >> Would you describe your relationship with him as a Okay. I'm sorry. >> You say as a whole? We do. >> Would you describe it as a physical relationship or was it a a real relationship? >> Oh, it was a physical relationship. >> Okay. >> She was ready to answer that question. That's that's uh notable. It's noteworthy. She was ready to answer that one. >> So, you knew Mr. Butch was seeing other people, correct? >> Yes. >> All right. So that that's not a surprise to you. Correct. >> The fact that he lied to me, you know, that's a surprise. >> Okay. >> So he would tell you he was coming over and you would know where he was coming from. Correct. >> Yes. >> That's nothing new. >> That's nothing new. >> Okay. Do you know um besides your daughter with Mr. Butts, do you know Mr. But other children? >> Um I met quite a few of them. >> Okay. Have you met any of the other mothers? >> Um about two in the beginning of the relationship we had. >> Oh my god. Are you freaking kidding me? I'm about to sneeze from all the dust coming from my speakers. What? Oh my god. She met quite a few of his kids. In the beginning of the relationship, she met about two of the other baby mothers. Their relationship was physical only. Why is there a child? And I mean just being a responsible adult of using regular, you know, contraceptions. So, why is there a child in y'all's relationship if you're so proud that it's physical only? And then why are you sitting here still looking uh mad and indignant that he lied about cheating? He is on trial for murder and raping minors. Who cares if he lied to you about other women? We have bigger things going on. What is >> about two or three of their mothers? >> Okay. And have you had any issues with the mothers? >> No. >> Okay. So, you know, Mr. Butch works as a mechanic, correct? >> Yes. >> And have you ever seen him wearing safety glasses in the shop? >> Yes. >> Okay. Safety glasses are clear, aren't they? >> Don't you dare. Don't heck in there. Don't you dare try to pass off this little girl's clear frame glasses as safety glasses that she may have seen. So now they trying to they're trying to distort her memory of what she saw cuz safety glasses and glasses that Naziah was wearing. No, no, no. That's not the same thing. Wow. Uh Leia's grandma said all the women he dealt with are slow. Sorry, not sorry. I'm I'm seeing I'm seeing it. Um, the aunt, Naziah's aunt giving slow. This lady giving slow. He sure is. Yep. So, he and like she said, there's at least another. So, I don't Are we going to see the other one eventually, too? But yeah, what the hell is going on? And okay, so they're playing the angle of it was safety glasses you may have seen from his shop. But what did he say? Oh, those are my son's glasses. And he snatched them from her son. He didn't say those are my safety glasses. Those were that little girl's glasses. Most likely. >> They're not those. >> They're not. >> They not the kind that I seen. No. >> Okay. So, he borrowed your car on the night, correct? >> Yes. >> And you said he came over around 9:00 p.m. >> Yes. >> All right. Um, when he came over from 9:00 p.m., was there anything out of the ordinary that you noticed? >> No. >> Okay. Did you have a conversation with him that day? >> We swapped out cars. We had a quick swap out cars and he was gone. >> And there was no other conversation that day. >> You didn't notice anything about his appearance? >> Didn't notice anything about his demeanor? >> No. >> Okay. And you say he came back the next day? >> Yes. >> All right. >> The next morning. Could he have dropped your car off later that night? I mean earlier that night? >> No, he did not. >> He didn't drop it off at say 2 or 3:00 in the morning. >> No, he did not. >> Okay. And you said that your son, and forgive me, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but there was a lot of things in this car. >> Is that the condition the car always was in? >> I mean, my son had his toys. There's always stuff in there. Yes. >> Okay. >> But um it's only my kids stuff that be in my car cuz me and my kids are the only people that really be in my car. But my mother >> Okay. And your testimony is Jarvis but prior to the night had never been in this car before. >> No. No. He's been in my car. >> Okay. >> He been in my car. I take him places. >> Okay. So, your son finds the glasses. Yes. Correct. And you say he finds the glasses. This would be on the 10th. He finds the glasses. >> Yes. Either the next day or whenever I don't remember what day, but I know the next day. It was the next day you went over there. Yes, it was. >> So, you're not sure what day the glasses were found? >> I'm not sure what day the glasses was found because I went to his job twice. >> Okay. after that. So, I don't know which day. I don't know if it was the the 10th or the 11th. >> So, it could have been either day. >> Yes. >> All right. And it was in my car. >> So, your son were playing with these glasses. >> Yes. >> There was nothing remarkable about these glasses. Correct. >> They were just red glasses. >> And you just So, you couldn't identify the glasses and say, "Hey, these glasses were smaller than a normal pair of glasses. These must be a kid pair of kids glasses, right? You couldn't say that, correct? >> He said they were his son glasses. So, is he saying as a son that would mean it was a kid glasses, right? >> Okay. >> So, you say he said they were his son glasses. >> Yes. and >> Mr. You sure? >> I got a haul. You want one right there? So, okay. So, the sister from last time we watched and now her they do have more attitude for the defense attorney, which of course would be directed because he's representing Jarvis. Um, I'm wondering what she is in all of this because it before she had an attitude with this attorney. It feels like the door was a jar like still open enough, but she is hostile with his defense attorney just like the sister was. So, I don't know. I don't know. Go right here. >> All right. So, you said your son was playing with the glasses, correct? And you took the glasses from your son, correct? >> Yes. >> And where did you do what did you do with them once you took them? >> He was playing with them when I was up there with Jarvis. When I took them from him and said, "To not your glasses." drivers took them from my hand. >> Okay. So, you didn't examine these glasses, correct? >> I just got them on his face when he was playing with them on his face. >> Okay. >> So, how can I not examine these glasses when I'm looking at my son with these glasses on his face? >> You you didn't study these glasses, correct? >> No, I didn't study these glasses, but they were clear and they were on my son's face. >> So, later on, you showed a picture of Msiah Harris, correct? >> Yes. And you saw her wearing clear glasses as well, correct? >> Yes. >> At the time you saw her with the glasses, did anyone tell you that she was missing? >> Um, yes, they did. >> Were you? >> And they showed me the picture. >> Were you aware that she was missing? >> Um, from the news. >> Okay. And were you aware that Mr. Buts was a suspect? >> No, not at the time until they came to my door. >> Okay. So when you told them So when you told them that these glasses you saw glasses similar to this? >> I didn't tell them then. >> Okay. >> I didn't know about that until after. >> All right. >> It took me a minute to think about the glasses. >> So you came back and told them later >> when they came to my house. >> Okay. That you saw a pair of glasses in your car. >> Yes. And the best you can say is that these glasses may be similar. Correct. >> Maybe what? Similar, >> right? >> Yes. >> You cannot testify that these are the exact same glasses. Correct. >> No, I cannot testify those are the exact same glasses. >> Can you tell whether the glasses had prescription lenses in them? >> I didn't put them on my face, sir. So, how will I know? >> Did your son say anything about that? >> No. How would he know? He said he was what, six, seven, five at the time. So how will he know what prescription glasses are? >> You're wearing prescription glasses, right? >> Yes. >> If you take them off, you see differently. Correct. >> Yes. But I did not put the glasses on. >> So how well I know they were prescription glasses, but I didn't wear them. My son wore the glasses. So how was I supposed to know? I I don't have his eyes. >> My question was, did your son say anything about the glasses? He was playing with the glasses and I told him to take the glasses off because we didn't know who glasses they were. >> Okay. >> I didn't know if they were prescription. So I told him to take them off. >> She got up on that mic. Now she leaned up. >> Take them off. He handed to me. Oh, Jarvis said, "Oh, those are my sunglasses." And he snatches it from my head. >> Okay. And what did Jarvis do with the glasses? >> I don't know. He went towards his car. >> Okay. You didn't think anything else of the glasses, did you? >> No. >> Okay. All he said were those were his sunglasses at the time. >> Your employee? >> Yes. >> All right. And your Nissan, was that your primary mode of transportation? >> Um, no. >> That was a secondary car. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I don't drive my car. I use my mom car when I'm working. So, is Nissan your car? >> Yes, it's my car. >> Okay. And Mr. Butts called you and told you to drive someone else's car? >> Yep. >> All right. Just a moment. So when he told you that you didn't do anything, right? >> No. >> You didn't think anything of it. Correct. You didn't clean out this car. Correct. >> No. >> So anything of Mr. Butts would still be in this car. Correct. >> Thank you. I have no further questions. redirect. >> Yes. >> M, you were asked about knowing that Mr. B was seeing other women. >> Yes. >> But you said he lied about things. >> Yes. >> What is it that he lied about? >> Couldn't get my mute off. Okay. Before she answers, I just want to say this is what I needed because I was like, she seemed to get mad when she said he lied. So now I guess I'll get my question answered on she's mad about him lying about Nziah or about other women. >> How many women still dealing with the women? >> Um everything pretty much. Why does that matter if you have a physical only relationship and you knew he does see other women and why does it I mean for the trial that we're on I just feel like the anger should be directed elsewhere at this point because other women is not the problem. >> So you didn't fair to say you wouldn't know how many women were out there? >> Yes. >> Okay. And did you know you that he would be dealing with women at the same time as he was dealing with you? >> And I'm going to object this point. I'm not sure what the relevance of that is as to this how many women he's dealing with. >> It goes response. >> Yeah. It goes to whether or not he would be like a whether he's secretive about things, whether he would know about >> One second. Sorry. >> It's okay. One second. >> That was really That that was really the extent of the question. >> It was asking Ross how many women she slept he slept with. >> Yeah. >> And whether she knew >> wanted to get that was really the extent of the question. >> Okay. Well, ask the question again. >> Yeah. Just was he a secretive person to you? >> Yes, he's very secretive. >> Okay. And when he told you a reason why he wanted to use your car, did you have any reasons to think that that might not be true? >> Um, I honestly thought it was for his son. you know, whenever he says anything about his kids, I believe when it comes to his kids, I thought he was a great father to his kids. That's what he put on to me. But >> okay, so that's what he led you to believe. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Nothing further. >> Yeah. A couple follow questions. >> Go ahead. >> Now, you said that he was secretive, correct? >> Yes. >> And that's when it came to William, correct? >> Yes. >> That bothered you, correct? I mean, it would bother bother anyone when when a man is supposed to be telling you the truth and they being really secretive about everything >> when you being honest with them. >> So, you were upset about that. >> Honesty. >> So, you were upset about that, correct? >> About him being other women cheating? Not really, cuz I was doing it, too. How about that? >> Nah, she mad. She's mad that I do I was doing it to know. And again, for what we're on trial for, don't understand what's going on right now. I The prosecutor, she did clarify she's doing this to show how his secretive nature, his deceptive nature. I get that. Um I don't know that I was doing it, too. Like, okay. Uh if you didn't care, you wouldn't care now. It seems like you really care. You all got to be quiet. >> No further questions. >> Any last questions, please? Okay. You done this job? >> Okay. Was that the last witness for today? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Anything else that needs to go on the record before we end today? >> Okay. We are off the record. Um back here at 10:00. Okay, so that's it. We finally we got through day one. We watched Who was the first witness? Oh, we had a few. We had the aunt of Naziah. We had Naziah's grandmother who Oh, these adults made me mad. We had the police officer that was retiring and had the whatever attitude when he was searching for Naziah's whereabouts and he he passed it off and he was like, "I don't care. I was retiring." Then we had Jarvis's sister and then we had one of the mother of his children. Well, that was the second mother of his children because the aunt was one of them, too. So, that's who we've had so far. All right. And that was just day one. I got to see when I can, uh, get day two in in the rotation. But um let me know what y'all thought in the comments about her testimony, her demeanor, her what everything that was, uh and okay, so now that's a new piece for me because I didn't know that her son had found I'm going to say allegedly Naziah's clear frame glasses and he was playing with them, put it on his face, and then Jarvis snatched them away from her talking about that's my son's glasses and all that other stuff. So, okay. So, new stuff in and uh yeah. Well, I will see y'all soon. I hope you have a happy New Year's. Happy New Year's Eve. Oh my gosh. Happy New Year's Eve. I will see y'all soon. All right. Bye.
