2023 dispatch received a 911 call from a man in Harris County regarding his mother Roan Jones screaming and hitting him causing a disturbance the officer arrived at the scene spoke with the son and uncovered some surprising details about the situation I I work and I don't know uh what my mother uh took I don't know what I don't know if it was a substance or a pill or right I don't know what it was cuz I work at Jimmy JS obviously okay and uh yeah I get home she was standing on the stairs uh everything was okay and then uh she start uh I take my I took my dog out for a walk she started screaming to the top of her L mine is you know midnight okay you know that's it's a nuisance that that's problem right so um I Tred to get her to be quiet I try to get her to go inside M get her to finally come inside I get her to go inside of her room uh I go in my room and then uh my girlfriend tells me she hears you know something going my home you know so I jump out the bed and I come out she's in my living room trying to get outside the door and scream she screaming to the top of I don't know what's going on mhm so I get I try to get it back to the room um and then I I close the door and I try to talk to her and then that's what she tries to fight basically not R fight me but push me or grab me so I try to hold her down and I I kind of have video okay so okay before that uh does she have a history of mental health or like bipolar okay so you just think it's whatever she took that made her a little bit okay cuz she's never been this way before okay so was she does she hang around certain people that have drugs or how do you think she came about that been at work all day so I I would know okay I mean does she have a history of of drug abuse or anything like that yeah assault on a peace officer stealing might seem like a small mistake until you're caught she was she's not able to at least uh provide you with any kind of 50 bucks or some groceries nothing like that on April ail 29th 2024 officers responded to an incident involving an employee accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of items here's how the events unfolded the officer approached the manager and spoke with him to understand the situation however what the manager revealed was rather unexpected tell me what happened okay so um I all on this uh flash drive will have video of the incidents uh I identified the uh the the thefts last week and as I was reviewing to see how far back it went I have all the way until February 1st until April 22nd so was a collective of not just um today it's happens today so today I had a conversation with her um where she admitted to doing what I have already on here um but she's an employee correct okay um and what she would do is she would bring the others she would still keep in the bag and place in shopping cart M and then at the end of her shift cuz she would do this probably within within 15 to 30 minutes of her shiting um she would be circumstances they help you they don't want they don't want this it's such a homeless homelessness in Palm Beach county is so large they don't want to add to that so they're going to obviously get the help to people that can help I didn't know where to get the help I didn't know how to go get find out about help you know I didn't know i' I've never had I've never done this before you know I never forclosure it's already in forclosure it was supposed to go up for auction last Tuesday and I guess something happened and the auction you know took place but the guy that was buying it I guess couldn't come up with the rest of the money so he defaulted on that okay so you know I don't know if and when I'm going to have to get out of my house you know they come back on my door and tell me to get out I don't know I'm scared you know I'm really really scared okay you know I'm 58 years old and I'm just trying to make it that's all yeah sorry and and I am really sorry that I did it right now charged with felony Grand Theft this body cam footage was recorded in Fairburn Georgia and really basically she did somewhat so she threatened you and then she just wanted to sore up and fight you yeah and you just got the better end of the state on January 6th 2023 police received a report about a grandparent possibly abusing a grandchild the school security guard noticed the child's one completely swollen and here is what happened when the officer arrived the school security guard explained what happened and talked to the child who was hurt by her grandmother they contacted Grandma the young girls switched up her story three different times to administrators so they saying our store is not straight parents stay in New York parents stay in New York injury at the eye it's a big knot to the eye so how she said she got the wound Grandma PR her or what did she say they were just about to get to that what grandma said they just got the story from the young girl these our stories to changing Grandma home home and Mom is already notified in New York so when you spoke to Grandma what did she say happen um grandma said that um she explained that there was some situation with his teacher um the teacher called had called called here she was getting in trouble with that but she didn't explain exactly what happened she said that um her exact words were she is so disrespectful to me last um yesterday and so she said I gave it to her good so she's been crying all night so her eyes might be C but then so cuffy is different from but she came down to the nurse she has me can I talk talk to her because she's taking her back to New York this week talk to her and she'll be coming down to the school mom grandma say later on today before I could even call her girl down she comes down to see the M morning she comes down to see and that thing is like like her eye is a sleep all right can we see it yeah all right babe I'm off with some Montgomery okay this is Sergeant lanord okay and we just want to talk about exactly what happened okay is that okay with you and we're going to talk with the administrator and another officer here okay is that okay all right so from your side can you explain to me exactly what happened to y'all and how it all start yesterday was and they called my parents they called my grandma told I asked her her I go outside then I did she did tell me yes but she didn't realiz she did tell me yes instead and tell me no so when I went outside came back and I guess she looking for me cuz one of my friends like called me and said Grandma Lucy is looking for you where you at cuz they thought was her house and then I did curse to her and she had she had hit me but normally she would hit me so like sh me from she what time did you return huh what time did you leave I left around like when I got off the bus it was like 5:30 so probably like 5:50 and I came home at 6:15 all right so after Grandma confronted you with all of such then what happened so then like she started yelling at me and stuff and she was like jumping at me and then when she did she had hit me and then and then like she was telling me she get out the house and everything she was like threaten no you say hit in what form of hitting like slap punch you close fist like close fist like close fist would you say how many times once you didn't hit you didn't hit your grandma or anything like that so you what happened when you ended up you said that you ended up swearing at her at some point was that before she ended up hitting you no I was like after she after she hit me then what happened after she hit you you started cursing at her what did you do after that she like she called my mom cuz she was trying to see my mom just talk to me cuz she does and my mom didn't answer the phone so she's like so she like started dragging me down the stairs and she like they dragged me out of the house and closed the door on me and told me to stop knocking on the door cuz if I do she going to call cops to come and take me because she don't want me in the house she you said she dragg you by the stairs down the stairs down the stairs how did she drag you like she just pulling me by my shirt and my hair and stuff trying to get me out the house when she did she had closed the door and went back upstairs and told me I couldn't come back in the house and the only thing I was in was my sweatpants and my socks and my she did drag you all the way out of the house and you said you kept ringing the doorbell how long did you stay outside the house I think about like 15 minutes then the grandmother came to school and said that they had an argument yesterday and that's when everything started start off with what all happened yesterday it's it it's it's it's it's just so um she have a phone I've done gave brought her numerous of phones and she dropped them she break them I'm not going to get you another phone she's on this old grandma the other kids got an iPhone go give me an iPhone I have a little Android I'm not buying you no iPhone you do good with your your grades you do what you have to do I'll give you the world but if you in school and you acting like you could you are you raised by some that's not going to happen cuz I raise you being very respectable I'm up at this school all the time she disrespect this lady right here disrespect them it's embarrassing to me cuz I raised you like that so now I tried to B and she came and she asked me Grandma can I have a boyfriend I said no you can't have no boyfriend your boyfriend is math science that's who your boyfriend is I said but okay he's a friend and he's a boy you understand so y' y'all could be friends but it's no boyfriend and girlfriend like how you understand I'm none of that okay I'm coming back and forth I take the phone from her I this was that was what the argum this is this is what's yeah this is how this what I'm saying I'm I'm not sure if since she's been with this boy her attitude has changed but I know he has a sister here namman supposed to go here invite so um uh I you know said to her I said well no no I'm not buying you no the phone she had some type of way that she could still use the phone through a Wi-Fi or something to that effect okay so you're still doing what I told you not to do you're still defying my rules okay fine I'll let you go ahead and you talk um she came and she said Grandma I hope you don't get mad but um L Lon whatever his name is wants to buy me a pair ofs I said what so she said yeah he wants to buy me a pair of he told his mother his mother is going to buy him the ug at that time now I'm saying his mother well I need to speak to his mother get on the phone with him however her phone cuz her phone is broke I don't know if you seen her phone her phone look like a jigsaw puzzle in the front so I don't know how you talking to him but y'all talking I get on the phone I said hello um Lon um you supposed to be cuz I call her nooo you supposed to be nuno's boyfriend yeah I said no you're not she have no boy boyfriend I said what this you about us can I speak to your mother nothing she came home from school yesterday yes she came home from school Grandma um I hope you don't get mad but remember you told me about the ug the ugs that I asked you asked me about I said yeah she said well you bought them for me if I can I been ride around the corner I can take you home and bring you the ug that he bought for and I said he got you hugs how's that his mother bought I said well with all that being said I would like to speak you understand I want to see because I don't know if your boyfriend or whoever he was took from your sister or he did or whatever and I need to speak to your mother to see where her head is at right because you're buying a gift for a 12y old something ain't right here so with that being said my son came home and he heard me arguing with her and he's like cuz he call her cheeky what's going on so I said for prior to that she had done took gotten my phone and went in my Sheen you know Sheen the um and ordered $106 of stuff and sheen on my phone you understand so everything that I'm saying to Y I got all rights to like tail up so now I called her grandmother cuz her other grandmother lives in New York and I told her that I was going to take bring her back up that was around the holiday my fiance say to me because he been we've been together for 30 years he says to me l don't let's not take her you know take her back to New York let's give her another chance you understand see what happens and if she don't act right when summer time come when she goes up and something she'll just stay so I call back to grandmother I said only reason why she St cuz R said so we going to see this is before the holidays mhm last night the investigation grew more complicated when the cop asked how the child was injured and the grandmother tried to avoid it said you can't even really have a argument that makes any sense because of the you say she told me I was in a car accident I have a screw on my leg she said that's why you was in a car accident I said that's what your comeback is oh that's why you wear lace funds I said you see you still a kid you look like a grown adult but your mind frame is a kid so she's doing all of that and the person is on the phone hearing you disrespect me so I went over to her and I tapped them lips so when I tapped them lips oh out of here word to my mother word to my mother oh I said oh so you want to fight you want to fight cuz you see I'm small she's so you would oh you sizing me up already okay so I ran with in my room cuz I had on my pajamas put on my ugs and my tights and I said come on square up what happened what you want to do you bad oh if I hit you I said you see again see you you not bad because you saying if I do do this and if and then when I say something walk away she running her mouth she running her mouth so when she ran up I ran up on her real quick and she look I said yeah that's what I'm letting you know cuz the way yeah cuz the way that you talking you talking to me like you're a grown woman and I'm a grown woman and you know my reactions would be to another grown woman to do just what I did we get to her eye um uh I told you she was crying uh she told me that she was going to she picked up a knife mhm the law enforcer asked the woman for a straightforward answer about the injury and the grandmother had no other option but to reveal the truth real question okay sure and I I need a straightforward answer straightforward answer all right how did her eye become the way that it is I didn't to to tell the truth I didn't see it cuz and the funny thing was when she went to sleep last night she had to bed she said I'm asleep in the closet you sleep in the closet what you sleeping in the closet for so this morning I got up for work look at her bed the door's off so I see the bed where you at look in the open the closet you in the closet sleeping she got the comforter she got the uh the the sleeping bag and her pillow and why you like that I said but okay you are sleeping since you done slep in the in the um closet don't you think you want to get up and give me a bag no I don't want to I said well okay bab okay okay it's obvious that she was hitting her eye okay very obvious and it's it's not a pretty picture it's not no really okay cuz I'm I'm going to say it like this you can hit somebody the swelling does not happen right then and there it shows it shows the next day yes her eyes shut so I want to know honestly how did that happen because let's be clear I you got two people saying that y'all that this happened so I want from your side exactly how did her eye end up like it well like I said we was upstairs we was going back and forth felt and I had the um thing in my hand and she said something and I just like you going to get away from me did you hit her in the face with it no I just did like this was she standing you sitting down and she we standing yeah we were standing and I was like no no get away from me stop get away from me leave me alone when you did that what did she do then she said Grandma my you hit me in my eye and I look and I was like yeah cuz again she lied so much what did her eye look like when you did that it didn't look fine it's fine yeah SW is not going to happen right then and there take a few hours right right you see I'm looking because I didn't know that it look like that I would never hit her like I saw her I hit you reprend you but I would never do nothing to discard you or anything like that because I've been do too much with you for us I'm say I'm going say like this it was noticeable this said well how was everything he said you went to school he said well look her eye it might be a problem so I said really so he said yeah I said well Rich um if anything happens I have my paper trail I've been asking for the help you understand um I didn't mean to do to hit her and it to look the way that it look so I'm going say this too since we on a subject pun no no all right so what if I tell you that not only she stated that you punched an eye but your fiance did as well too well he come up here I need to hear him say that he punch me got him on camera I I spoke to him after assessing the situation the officer explained the charges and escorted her to the station going to be rough all right I know it is but you going to be charged with two counts okay battery FBA and Cruelty to Walmart in Illinois about a report of a physical altercation involving two women put your hands together like you're pring look my arms are killing me okay what I'll do is I'll put two sets of cuss on you there so she's more comfortable for you okay does that sound good why is she taking pictures the officers arrived at the shop and separated the suspects then they began questioning the first woman to begin their inquiry so they told us to stay from her keep coming no you here now well I understand but I need to talk to people one at a time so why don't you go talk to him hello all right so what's going on I um so this little baby here very cute little baby um the father isn't here he had to leave to go work they already have a abusive history where she needs a friend to be with her and he needs his mom to be there but he left to go to work or whatever I never met this woman like that before so as soon as she comes soon as I get here walking she comes directly up to me you better watch your mouth who you talking to who you think you talking to and she grabs my arms I'm 35 years old I respect my elders I so instead of trying to retaliate and fight and stuff I said I'm going just call the police I'm not going to fight no older woman like that but you're not just going to talk to me and I I don't understand why she did that like why she just came at me immedately Once you walk up here she just started acting all aggressive and everything she was parked in the back her she got a big nephew she told him to park around the corner he get all aggressively trying to come at us too so he's back there somewhere parked in the car but he says we've been waiting here for f 4:00 or whatever the case is the court order at 6:00 and all we did was ask if she can come to the front we didn't want she they parked all the way in the back back and want us to go in the back so now in the front where the cameras are we're going to do an exchange in the front of course why you want us to be all the way back therefore like that that wasn't no reason that wasn't sing well to me so I'm like let's just say okay we need to get groceries tell her to come to the front they got so upset about coming to the front for whatever reason I'm not sure but we said we want to do it in a public place where there's is let's do it in the front that's why we told her to come to the front Okay period and then because I said that she did probably he me that hear that on the phone she came directly at me and putting her hands on me and she like just grab around your arms okay I'm like both of your arms or yeah I'm like I don't know this lady I'm just here support that's my best friend I'm supporting her this little girl you see how she's talking on to me she doesn't even want to go to her she doesn't what you have anything to do with this I've been here since she's been born your son just now meeting her for the first time and she's two years old y why you have on the other hand the second woman shared her side of the story which was completely different my son used to be married to the lady in the black shorts okay and um it was his uh visitation this weekend we had to come down here he had to leave I don't know why she put the visitation on Sunday uh Saturday and Sunday he had to be to work for Monday so he had to go to work we don't live here I live uh up in Miran Alabama my son lives in leing uh Leeland Mississippi so I stayed in town you have to drive down here for visitation uh for for the first couple of months okay and um so um we made an arrangement at 6:00 so we've been in that parking lot close to an houris waiting we know at 6:00 we just want to make sure we was here so about 5:45 I called her then my son called her and you know she you know me you know she said well it wasn't 6:00 and she gave this address and she told us she was at Walmart Subway in Walmart so we go in the subway we going to Walmart there's no Subway so we call her again is yapping in the back we told her we be parked in the back so we W to be around anybody so we can exchange you know she can get the things out they want us to come up mhm here to the front of the store right here front of the store okay cuz she you know they go there and get Grocery and stuff I said but what about these things and the one in the back well how much is it the shorter one with the braids like I said we got a 6h hour plus drive and she you know wouldn't answer the phone at first uh just playing games and I asked who was your and you know I might have touched the hair she put a camera in my face I took it from her and put it in the cart and I was trying to tellw get your baby out the car cuz she's crying and we want to get on the road and you know here the thing this what she gave to us and this what we you know brought the give to the baby she want to call the know police and the file charges against me they they ruin it all up I you know really I know not you know put touching her hair I didn't put it I just touched it and I just got a phone out of her hand put it there uh so when you say you touched her hair what what happened you just I just had had the braid you know oh grabbed her hair yeah I I didn't grab it hard my hand went up and grab you know C the braid you see how long they are and she being got in my face she documenting stuff and I'm like get the you know the phone out my face and I took it out of hand and put it in the cart and she said she's calling the police uh that I assaulted her I know you don't smoke put I you know touched the hair and got the phone out of her hand and everything um is your is your son here uh he had to go to work okay that's right so if he don't go to work that mean he going to have a job he ain't going to be able to pay child for and um it's been a little problem with her playing making a hard they live here I'm assuming they live here okay okay yeah like I say it's it's six plus uh drive for us I got you do you have an ID card I can add you to the call I don't have it on me I the conversation continued with each woman accusing the other of being right or wrong the police watched video footage and gathered statements from them look at is that it right there great look right away she saying my friend we've been waiting here an hour you gave us the the address when you give her address could the Cruiser there all right so you lied on April 28th 2024 officers responded to reports of a vessel Captain allegedly drinking while operating his boat upon arrival they found the captain swimming in circles and refusing assistance prompting a deeper investigation into his Fitness to continue operating The Vessel safely recording Captain's drinking a high two dud I got a boat off kill it gu Police Department there's a kid like practically drowning over there and I was trying to wave down a c to help and I couldn't get anyone to get over there just swimming in circles sing forever and he's drunk and we got him on our boat to give him see him right there right there you see him right there in front of the right see that blue jet ski right past him right past he's been chugging water for the past 20 minutes but no one no one we could have flag anyone down he wouldn't get he wouldn't get on our boat he's like I'm good good I'm good I'm good hey real quick safy ins wild might need to see a
