hurting me you're doing it on purpose don't stop the incident revolved around a woman named Andrea on August 2 8th 2022 in Ridgewood New Jersey the police were called after a woman reported that a truck had hit her vehicle on the passenger side while she was driving the police sensed something was wrong with her and started an investigation the authorities approached Andrea seeking information but her responses carried an air of uncertainty her demeanor hinting at underlying issues upon further observation the officer Revisited the questioning yielding similar ambiguous outcomes suggesting Arlington Ohio the police received and responded to numerous calls about a driver who almost hit another vehicle headon the officers reached the spot and located the vehicle in question as the police approached the woman her responses heightened suspicions she struggled to provide coherent answers creating a noticeable disparity between her words and action law enforcement discovered a surprising to assess her condition the cop offered her to participate in a special procedure let's check the video to learn about what transpired okay so I am going to offer you a breath test here shortly I have says you are now under arrest for OVI operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol a drug or a combination of them if you refuse to take any chemical test required by law your Ohio driving privileges will be suspended immediately and you'll have to have a pay a fee to have the Privileges reinstated if you have a prior conviction of OVI which you do have one or operating a vehicle while under the influence of a listed controls substance or a list metabolite of a controlled substance under state or Municipal law within the preceding 20 years you are now under arrest for State OVI and if you refuse to take a chemical test you will face increased penies if you subsequently are convicted of State OVI down at the very bottom um actually we're going to go through the immobilization or forfeiture if you have previously been convicted of operating a motor vehicle Under the Influence OVI which you have had one or similar Municipal ordinance the vehicle and its identification license plates may be seized which is what we are doing today the vehicle may be towed and kept by law enforcement agency or may be immobilized the period of time for which the vehicle and licensed place will be kept or immobilized may be at least until the initial appearance in court which that's what it will be which will be the uh that's 5 9th the 9th August 9th is when we're going to set your court date for at the initial appearance the court May order that the vehicle and license plate be returned to you or release to the vehicle owner until the disposition of the charge if you are convicted of or plead guilty to Ovi the court May issue an order of immobilization of the vehicle and the impoundment of its license place or in order for a criminal forfeiture of the vehicle to the state down here notice a suspension at the bottom independent of any penalties or sanctions imposed upon you pursuant to any other section of the revised code or in Municipal ordinance your driver's license or commercial driver's license permit or non-resident operating privilege is now suspended the suspension takes effect immediately the suspension will last at least until your initial appearance on the charge which is August 9th which will be held within the five business days after the date of the arrest or issuance of a citation to you you may appeal the suspension at the initial appearance before the court that hears the charges against you that resulted from the arrest or during the period of time ending 30 days after that initial appearance length of suspension down here for refusal since you have one prior you're looking at a potential of a suspension of up to two years if you do the breath test for and you have a prohibited concentration of alcohol with one prior you'd be looking at it that's technically a traffic violation right it's a it's a probable cause for a traffic stuff okay um so I pulled you over so I was the one that actually hit my lights and pulled you over on North Street right so the traffic stop since officer marus was the one that Dre the moving violations I let her have the stop okay yeah but why would you say that I didn't have my blink around when I did
