witnessed a hit-and run crash involving a woman upon arrival police spotted the woman who had done something unexpected the police wasted no time in investigating the entire scenario man come here how we know it was that vehicle that was involved in that okay in the I understand I believe you I mean now the next thing is Sergeant Billy Jake he's a deputy with the Maran County sh office he witnessed the entire thing happening he also followed to look for that blue forward and he and he positively identify you as the driver of Serge V of such vehicle um is there anything you can say about that I I don't understand you w driving you you don't remember I was not driving okay all right so I don't need any state from you to confirm to confirm you are driving I have I have the statement of the surge which is good good enough we going to do we're going to do the crash report and you'll be listed as the driver of the vehicle all right you are not free to leave because I'm I'm still doing the crash investigation and obviously also I'm not going to lie to you or sugarco it leaving the sin of an accident is an actual crime okay in this circumstance the woman face the reaction she seemed to invite leading the police to take all necessary steps according to the law since it was a hit and run and she's going she's going she's going to go to jail okay but again even though she's going to jail if she does not have an insurance your insurance going to have to take care of the damages no no matter what unless you have uninsured motorist in which case I mean you still cover right here that looks like one of the paint transfer but I have white paint transfer from your vehicle and they took a picture of your vehicle when they back when you backed into him and then they said he got out of the vehicle and he said when you got the green light you just you left okay you didn't realize that that happened does that look like an accident what's that does that look like an accident it looks like contact between two vehicles okay contact what would you like me to do well do you have uh insurance information of course okay so what look where where did you come from
