Okay. >> Did she say verbally something to you? >> Yes. >> That she was going to hurt you or do something to you. To give you an example. Um she didn't say, "Oh, I'm going to beat your ass." Or, "Um, I will." >> Yeah. She said that. She said that. She I think she said she said that because because of another girl. She kept her. She tried to run to me. >> Lower your voice. Why are you acting like a child? >> I'm not acting like a child. Officers urged her to remain calm, but she continued shouting over them. Despite efforts to reason with her, the woman remained loud and erratic. >> Judge me. I don't judge you. >> No, they're talking. [screaming] >> Shut the up. >> They're talking. >> I've been raised and bartered and worked my ass off and now I have to go through. I'm not going to do it anymore. Go ahead and ask me. Do you think that I wake up this morning? That I wake up every morning thinking I need to arrest 10 people tonight. You know what I think about? Where am I walking my dog? Because I have a dog. That's what I think about. [clears throat] So if you think that police we wake up every day thinking, "Oh, >> I don't need to explain anything to anybody and I don't need to explain anything anything to you." But however, you have to >> laugh at [screaming] me. Go. I keep laughing. You piece of >> As much as I want. >> He's gone. Okay. >> Do you have children? >> No. >> Four dogs. >> Thank god I don't. >> I want to raise them. >> 28 years we've been together. She's never done this. He needs to shut the up. >> Jenny, stop. >> He's laughing. Like, that's not cool. >> Jenny, I made my life better for a piece of that come here. >> Stop yelling because then you're going to be looking at another charge. >> Look at me. [screaming] >> Thanks. >> You can't do this for her. >> Try to keep it together for her. Not for yourself, but at least for somebody else. >> Happy birthday. Come on. >> I'm trying to empathize. >> I don't even care anymore. Clearly, >> clear clearly you don't care. >> Yeah, because you don't know. >> You don't care about me. >> I'm trying to understand you. >> I'm trying to understand you and have a conversation. Hold on. I'm trying to have a conversation with you just like I had a conversation with them because at the end of the day, I wasn't there. So, I need to know what actually happened. >> I'm not taking any hold on. I'm not taking anybody's size here. I'm trying to find. >> As her behavior escalated, officers made the decision to end the altercation. Meanwhile, the woman decided to make things harder. >> Put your hands on your back. >> I can't believe you would choose that. >> I'm not going to have somebody laughing over there at me. I worked my ass off. I've been through it all. It's my birthday. >> I can't believe do that to me. >> Grab my phone, please. Ow. God. Just put it in a nicer place. I deserve this. Well, you're not acting right. So, in response, we just had a conversation and we got down to the bottom of this. We weren't being predicted. Okay. I was trying to speak with you. He was trying to speak with you. We're both being cordial. And you wanted to scream and you wanted to yell. You had to move. How are you knowing how he's looking at me? Ma'am ma'am ma'am I'm not trying to be disrespectful but what you are saying that's why kids in middle school and in kindergarten pretty much like complain about you and I I think we can agree that we are at that age that if somebody's laughing or somebody is acting like that. Disrespectful. Like, who are they? >> Right. >> Disrespectful. >> Can I tell you something? That woman right there, she really cares about you. >> I know she does, but >> but can you let me finish? You are going through a lot. But I want you to remember this. I know that everything that is going on right now with you is affecting you. But sometimes we have if we can't do it for ourselves, can you do it for somebody else that you care about? Because I know that you care about her. >> So So you know how she was begging you and saying over and over, "Do it. Do it for me. Do it for me." >> The officers resumed their efforts to calm her down. The woman, on the other hand, continued her childish behavior and hurling less than savory remarks. >> Say that. So, how come like we couldn't get to that point to to talk about and and and resolve the issue? >> How come? >> And that guy's over there in the background laughing at me. What the dude? >> I get that every day at work. [snorts] And guess what? I can't do anything about it. >> I I get that at work. She gets that every day at work. And is there anything we can do about it? No. That's what children do. They they they they laugh at each other or whatever. Like you know, but you are a grown woman. >> I know. >> And why should you care? >> Why? >> I love you. I love my >> Can I ask you something? Because I'm really I'm really >> I'm very curious about this. I want to ask you something. Does it bother you the fact that he's a black man? >> Stop. I was asking you. >> I would never do that. >> Does it bother you that a black Africanamean male is uh working uh doing his job? No, never. >> Do you think that he should be treated that way just because of what he's doing as his job? >> No, cuz he loved that. It was me. >> That's so like >> So you are telling me >> I don't >> You are telling me that just because somebody was laughing at you, you will you will allow that to ruin this what you have with her. or I don't want to be I am not a box. [screaming] >> Stop moving. >> Stop moving. Do not turn your body to my face. >> I want the rest of my life. I'm going to kill you. >> Is that a threat? >> That's a promise. >> Despite repeated attempts to calm her down, she continued her outburst and remained uncooperative. >> Oh, that's a promise. >> Don't like that. You >> just Are you sit down? That's what you are, mother. All right, that's right. We had a conversation. You're failing to comply. I know that he What did I ask you to do? Okay. >> The woman was charged with disorderly conduct. It's wild to see how people act when they don't want to admit their mistakes. You won't believe what our next suspect did to try to escape her fate. On September 6th, 2025, officers pulled over a jittery driver and her passenger in Donaldsonville, Georgia, after she failed to use a turning signal. The officer explained the reason for the stop, but something caught the officer's attention. >> Fine. >> Officer Gonville Police Department. Reason to pull it over. Mommy. Hi, Mommy. Look at him. What's that? >> What's that? Is he What is he? >> Hi. She talks. She can't talk. She can't. What's your name, mommy? >> Are you Delila? Is your name April? I have searched this whole I have knocked on just about every door in this hotel looking for a parent. >> Right. >> So they're not in here. >> Do these people they just talking or they know something? So he really know who it is or no the >> we nobody don't know. We just seen that everybody said they seen the mama with the baby earlier but >> we don't see no mama no more. >> What you know what time she left? >> No we just the lady who found the baby she said in her son that her son the baby was wet everything. I had to give the baby some my baby clothes and some food and they washed her up and everything. She turned it up. >> She's hungry. [laughter] >> This is crazy. >> It's crazy. This time I was outside. No socks, no clothes. >> Ain't nobody even came to look for it yet. >> Well, you want to go with me? Yeah, you can go with me. Yeah. I wish I had some toys. >> I wish I had some toys. Did you eat? >> You hungry? >> Come here. Come here. Come here. >> It ain't much, but it better than nothing out there. This is College Park Police Department. >> College Park? >> Yes, sir. In in the state of Georgia. >> What's going on? Let me give you a background. So, I know possibly your family member, Tikica Miller. So, her child is up here unattended. I found her at a at a hotel and the mom is nowhere to be found. >> Did you all have a phone number? >> That young? >> Ma'am, we we have exhausted trying to call multiple numbers and we're not getting any feedback. >> We just going off of what somebody else gave us. And we have a we got a picture. conclusion. I think they're trying to go for >> if what ma'am and again like I said ma'am >> we are trying to confirm but that's the lead that we have that we're working with. >> Unfortunat we can't do anything without a case. We need a case in order to and right now we don't have a case. >> What do you mean you don't have a case ma'am? >> I don't have a case. They didn't send over a case. Did you make this into an actual case? Did you make a report? >> This is the thing. When I called, they transferred me to you and told me based on >> the severity and we having the child here, we needed to speak to you >> and then we'll generate whatever report. I'll call back the initial number. >> Okay. So, you have to call back to make a report. >> That's what you were told that you need to call back to make a report. Is that what they told you? >> Ma'am, beside after I speak to you and I give you the information, after I guess you do whatever you have to do, then I call them back afterwards. I I can't do anything. I need I need to pay unfortunate. I'm sorry. >> All right, ma'am. Thank you. >> She didn't want to do no work. >> Exactly. And that's that is that is man. >> You can't be in that job. You don't want to do no work. >> Thank you for calling the Georgia Child Protective Services Intake Communication. >> Hello, officer. >> Yes, ma'am. Let me get your name and information and I'll just generate I'll just put a child that's been found with no caregiver and that just send them on out there. I got to Okay, I'll go ahead and get um the information that you provided will be staffed with a supervisor and the county be notified of decision. So, I'm going to go ahead so I can get this get complete the report so I can Okay, you have a safe. >> So, question question. What else would you need from me? Is there anything else? Do I have to call back? Is somebody going to contact me and let me know what's happening or how does this go? >> No, no, you you shouldn't have to call back. I'm going to call the county and tell them I got an immediate and I'm going to send the pay I'm going to send this report to them. >> All righty. So, yeah. Uh my case manager um like I said, she's on her way. So, she that's her already got an estimated EPA from her. >> That's the case manager from DeFax. >> Correct. Yes. >> He's outside and he'll want to contain him. So you want So where were you >> at work? >> This entire time? >> At work. >> You got proof of that that you >> Yeah, I can show you my tips. I was at work on I can show you. What can I show you? >> Do you have any ID first though? You have ID? >> Um here on my phone. I got my ID on my phone. >> Yeah, no problem. >> I have my >> So where is he? >> So where was he this whole time? He was watching him and he said something to eat. >> You want to get something to eat? >> She was asleep and he said, "I don't know." He said, "The officers had enough of the father's stories and decided to take a stricter stand. Let's see how it went down." >> 8:00 p.m. It is not what time in the morning. >> Who had 6 p.m.? >> This is what I'm trying to tell you. This makes absolutely no sense. I'm awake, but let me get your information. >> Hold on. You said it. >> Ma'am, let me just get your information. No problem. You can wait right here by the window. My LT said she was on the way back as well. These are the individuals there. That's that's the mom and they're still working, but I didn't ask any questions. I was waiting for when the LT comes cuz I was going to do them random, but I'll just wait. See what else he wants to do. >> Okay, then I'll wait. >> Yeah, exactly. Exactly. >> Oh, you're the bottom. >> Are you dad? >> Yes. So I'm going to read both of you guys rights. Do you understand these rights? >> Thank you. >> Does she have this? I didn't hear. >> You understand these rights, ma'am? >> I need you to verbally say yes or no. >> Yes, >> ma'am. Thank you. >> So, where exactly are you staying on national? >> The mayor came right today. >> Today only. >> Yes. >> What room is 226? 2:26. >> When was the last time you saw the baby? >> Around 6 p.m. >> Close to 7 p.m. Where was the baby the last time you saw the baby? >> Laying in the bed. >> Laying in the bed. Did you leave the baby in the room alone? >> Can you tell me why you left the baby alone? >> She was sleep. I went to work. >> Where do you work? >> At Club Public Uptown Corner. And are you just getting home? And okay, so when you walked in the room, what happened? >> At what time did you get back to the hotel? >> I don't know. Probably left after 1 something. So probably two. >> About 2. Okay. All right. So you do know that leaving a child a baby alone in the room is is is cruel to children. >> Okay. Is there any reason why you didn't get a babysitter for the baby? >> My wife took her to work. I went to go listen at 12. I meant to go set baby. She had her own thing where she gets up and open doors and pulling out. This is not the first time this happened. It's happened to say she ran down the hallway, but she was saying everything was fine. I fed her. I laid her down. Everything was good. But when I left, she still typically woke up and it said that the door was wiggling and wiggling kept going cuz she came to open the door but she'll keep pulling and pulling with all night and she pulled back and she probably feel like I don't know what's going on. >> So are you saying that you noticed that she was missing before the mother? >> No, I had to go get the mama. I'm just not noticing. >> So in other words, once you dropped her off at work, you never went back to the >> Oh, no. I went back. I fell on everything later. I've been doing that. But >> so she didn't get up until 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning. The child been the child been in the hotel roaming around since about 6:00 or maybe 7. >> So you never went back at 12. >> Midnight? >> Yes. >> No, you didn't. >> I just had to come back. She get off at 12. >> Listen. >> No. No. It's okay. I got her. >> Listen, I'm telling you. >> Listen to what I'm saying. >> She get off at 12. >> Listen to me. You didn't see the baby at midnight. You didn't see the baby at midnight. You know why I know? Tax me. >> Because the mother was the legal guardian. She was charged. Authorities also questioned her partner. Informed he was equally responsible. >> Is that correct? Okay. Well, mom, because this is your child, this is your your responsibility. You understand what I'm saying to you? >> So, you are going to be charged with uh cruelty. Now, before we take you into custody, I'm going to go ahead and ask the social worker at these facts if she has any questions for you. >> Is there someone that you can leave the baby with custody wise to be comfortable leaving it with? >> Correct. >> I need her to be able to experience. So, I might have you sign some forms saying that you're willing to let him take temporary custody until everything's resolved. Okay. That just kind of gives us an idea of where the child is and what's going to be going on. Okay. As a heads up, we will be having another case worker reach out during the daytime. They'll be contacting you, sir, and they will be keeping tabs on my baby. My baby get away from me. >> His mom is standing just now. Sorry. >> He just told me that you are the biological father, sir. He told me that you are the biological dad. And so, if that's the case, you're both equally responsible. >> I'm not. But I've been since Go ahead. I just told you outside everything with you and you told him you >> my baby biological responsible. >> She just answering me as her correct. >> All right. So, is that not your biological child? Okay. All right. >> So, I am going to get her to sign a few boxes. Do you want me to do that before she goes back? >> Sure. >> Okay. >> You got any other family members around here? >> You have any other family members? sister, mother. >> Anybody in the area that could provide care for the child? >> Huh? >> Uncle Joe. >> Uncle Joe. >> Where does Uncle Joe live? You have Uncle Joe's phone number >> or any contact. [screaming] I understand like I don't my child. I don't deserve like a fine >> I don't deserve to be away from my baby. >> That's not an option. >> That ain't that wasn't a plan. That's not option. That wasn't no intention or nothing like that. And I understand I understand you had to go to work. But I also understand that the child was left by themselves. Anything could have happened to the child. The same way people get charged for leaving children in vehicles, people get charged for leaving babies at home. Could have been a fire when that baby came out. That baby could have it. Thank God it wasn't. >> But unfortunately, we had a life. Listen, we have to deal with the courts. I can't leave my baby. >> I just listen. My baby gone, man. I can't leave my baby. I can't leave my baby. I ain't I ain't I I ain't never spent a day away from my baby. Never. Not one day away from my baby. Ever. Ever. Since the day she was born. Ever. Not a day away from her. Not a day. Not a day. And we in a situation, and this is one time where she can't be away from me. I can't leave her out here. We outside now. I just started a job. We just trying to figure it out. We all we got. I can't leave my baby. Understand it does not You do not have to charge me with cruelty to children. I'm not I am not doing clothes. >> Listen listen to me, ma'am. Ma'am, it's a lot of people out here doing some [ __ ] up to kids. I know it. I despise it. I'm not that. I do not deserve to have it on me. I don't deserve it. Everything I do for my kids. Everything I do. Every every breath I take, every time I get up in the morning, my intention is to take care of my baby. So understand this is just this is just a situation where something really up happened and I up and I understand that I [ __ ] up but I don't deserve to be charged with cruelty to children. I understand I understand the law. I get it. I know. But right now my life is not I'm not in the position to leave my baby. I can't leave my >> The mother reluctantly agreed to sign custody paperwork, allowing Uncle Joe to temporarily care for the toddler while CPS conducted background checks. >> We can get some contact information >> because I know how to get my baby from defense. >> My baby not going to def her with family so we can get the content away from my child. Don't nobody love my baby like I love. Don't nobody love my baby like I love my baby. Okay. >> Yeah, she got a house and everything. >> Don't nobody love my baby. >> What's that phone number for? >> 77. >> Hang on. Let me write this down. >> Come on, y'all. >> I'm going to need you to sign, ma'am. Okay. I can't control what's happening right now. But what I can do is make sure that your baby girl goes to Uncle Joe and that she is taken care of and that she is well cared for. Okay? So if you work with me, I can promise you that we will find Uncle Joe and we will get him, you know, and try and get him to help provide care. Okay. >> It's female. I support my sand cuz what? What? >> M Joe older. That's why she be little. >> So because you were involved in this situation and part of the reason that the baby was left unattended was because you left the room. We can't guarantee that that won't happen again until we assess further. So, for right now, we have to place her with someone that we believe would be able to provide that. Now, when we call Uncle Joe, we are going to do some checks, background checks, stuff like that before we release the child into his care. Okay? I can't control this. I know I told you that. Okay? All I can do is make sure that your baby is taken care of. But for that to start, I need you to work with me and help me. Okay? >> The only way you can guarantee she going to be taken care of Oh, I can't do that. >> I can't stop the police. >> That's outside my power. There was a crime committed and so they do have to make a charge. Okay. >> Your child was unattended from like 6:00 p.m. to 900 p.m. Officers were there, asked everyone, spoke to everyone. No one was there. Gave you guys multiple opportunities. No one called, no one came. It is now almost 4 a.m. You made a statement. Your child has never slept away from you. Your child is sleeping soundly now because of us. We took care of it cuz none of you guys did it. God, >> ma'am, please. >> Please just listen. I just want you to listen. >> Thank you. >> We did this. This is not what we wanted. Nobody contacted us. You know what's 3 hours >> for a toddler >> outside with no shoes on? I have 11 kids. That's unheard of. >> No, no problem. I have 11 and I've never done that ever. Ever? I know where all of my kids are right now. >> Are you sure? >> Cuz you as a man, you should you should step up and take this cuz you left your child, not her. >> She wants to work. >> So trust me, I want to hear from you right now. >> I just want you to understand that we're only have to do. We don't want to do this. We have no choice. >> This is why I took an oath. >> You don't have to. No, I don't. I don't. >> Nothing like this. >> If I don't do anything, I go to jail. >> Nothing like this. >> Thank you. >> So, trust me on this. >> Lieutenant Lieutenant, we came here to let her so we so y'all bull crap. Let her tell y'all before we do what we have to do. That's it. And not even to mention, I'm not even rubbing this. disabled. >> Your child had no shoes on outside. >> I can't I can't right now. We need We need to focus on this. >> Ma'am, are you going to >> I'm listening to you. Talk to me here cuz you got no secrets. >> Listen, as a man, you need to step up, please. Based on what she told me initially, she left the channel with you now. So you are you are the responsible as a man that's >> Tika Miller was charged with child cruelty. Thanks for watching.
