Just country. [screaming] >> When police uncovered a horrifying discovery, [music] this Karen did the unthinkable. She denied everything, even with the truth staring her in the face. But she's not the only one. THE FREEWAY. STOP RUNNING. GET ON THE GROUNDING GROUND. PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. I got >> I don't believe this. STOP [screaming] FOR ME. PLEASE. >> IN this compilation of real police body cam footage, you'll witness shocking moments where suspects lie, break down, and spiral as the truth unravels. These true crime encounters are as real as it gets and far more disturbing than fiction. Starting with the suspects, who the suspects acted calmly, believing their denials might protect them from trouble. On July 13th, 2025, officers stopped their vehicle after receiving a report about illegal drugs and open alcohol containers inside. As the conversation began, the tension quietly built with each question the officers asked. >> Okay, first is going to be, do you have full tinting on your front windshield? Yes, sir. >> Okay. Do you have a prescription for that? >> Okay, so the front on the windshield is illegal in the state of Arizona. You can only have it across the visor across the top. Second is going to be your front windows. We have white look way too dark. If you want to just roll it up a little bit, I can do a uh tent meter and we'll see exactly where it's at. It needs to be 33%. Okay. >> Yeah, that'll be fine. >> Right there is good. You're at 11%. Okay. So, it's illegal in this state. It's also illegal. I see you're from New Mexico. New Mexico is 20%. You're illegal there, too. Okay. The third thing is going to be the covering on your license plate. Can't have it. It's tinted. Can't be obstructing the license plate whatsoever. Okay. Not going to give you a ticket. It's going to be a warning. You got your driver's license, registration, pro insurance. >> Officers started questioning the woman about her registration and personal details, watching her every move. They then turned to the man, pressing him about any hidden cash or illegal substances. The air grew heavy as both suspects struggled to stay calm. >> Hey, how you doing, ma'am? >> Hi. >> So, the registration you gave me had expired back in like uh couple of months ago. There is one that's supposed to expire in July. >> Do you have that one handy? >> Um that's the one that we gave you. Um that's why the officer that when they flipped over yesterday, he said that when he got on the computer that the computer did say it was July. >> Okay. >> So, he said that we have 4 days past and he said he goes, "I'm not going to sight you, but you need to get it fixed." Right. >> So we said, "Okay, we'd fix it and got back to >> So the one that you gave me expired in May. Do you have the one that expires in July?" >> No, that was the only one that was in there. >> I got you. And where you guys coming from? >> From LA. >> Okay. Were you guys out there for like >> We're visiting his mom. >> Okay, I got you. Um, do you live in New Mexico or Okay, gotcha. Um, I'm going to be checking the VIN number. Okay. Just make sure it matches the paperwork I got. >> Um, so there's one on the front window and one on the driver door. Okay. So I'm going to just be checking those. All right. You're just checking to make sure they match or >> Yeah, exactly. So, we get a lot of swap vins and stuff out here. >> I just got to make sure they match. Okay. >> What did you guys say when you were out there? >> You stayed in hotel. >> Like a hotel. Okay, I got you. All right. Hang tight for me. Right. I'm sorry. What was your name? >> My name's >> Okay. All right. VIN numbers match. Like in Arizona, we get a lot of swap bins and stuff like that. So, I just got to make sure they match. >> You can come over here. Oh, yeah. For sure. So, Mr. Martinez, I do have some additional questions for you. Okay. In addition to traffic control, another thing that I do out here is criminal interdiction. It's the stoppage of illegal crimes going down the roadways. I'm going to ask you some questions. Don't take them personal. I ask most everyone I come in contact with these questions. Okay. Uh, do you have any large sums of cash in excess of $10,000 in the vehicle? Do you have anything for the manufacturer? Fake IDs, credit cards, anything like that? No, sir. >> Do you have anything as far as um weapons, pistols, rifles, large amounts of ammunition, anything like that? >> No. >> Okay. Um do you have any drugs in the vehicle? >> No. >> No. No. >> Okay. In this state, similar to New Mexico is legal. Uh decriminalized I should say. You can have up to an legal is there any marijuana in the vehicle? >> There is, but >> just a little bit. about a couple of grams. >> Okay, no worries. I'm not worried about that, man. >> So, having said that, you said there's nothing in the vehicle. Would you give me your voluntary consent to search a vehicle? >> Yeah, why not? >> Okay. >> So, just to confirm, do I have your voluntary consent to search the vehicle? >> Uh, you know what? Let me ask her. >> Well, I'll ask her, too. >> She knows more about this. >> I'll ask her. So, I'm asking you at this point cuz you're the driver. I'll I'll ask her the same questions I asked you. >> I'm about to do it. All right. I mean, it's it's a it's a yes or no question. It's up to you. I supposed to say no. >> Well, it's I'm not going to get into hypotheticals. It's just a yes or no question. >> I don't know. I don't know what to say. >> Well, it's up to you, man. You're You're the driver. It's your vehicle. >> As officers questioned both suspects, their uneasy behavior set off alarms that something was being hidden. The man's answers didn't add up, forcing police to dig deeper into every detail. What unfolded next would reveal far more than anyone expected. Or >> no, you just say yes or you say no. Is there something in there? >> No, no, no, no, no. >> Well, yeah. Like I said, it's yes or no, man. You can say yes or you can say I got a bottle of uh [ __ ] uh in the back is halfway. >> Okay. Is that it? >> In the trunk. >> In the trunk. That's fine, man. Open containers. >> As long as they're not in the passenger compartment are fine. I'm not worried about that. So, yes or no on the voluntary consent search vehicle? Ah, from my own right. I I don't think so. >> Okay, no worries. Give me one second. Okay. >> Okay, man. So, here's what I'm going to do. Okay. Um, you're perfectly within your rights to say no. Okay, that's fine. Uh, what I'm going to do is I have a K9 in my vehicle. I'm going to wait for my second unit to get here. I'm going to be walking him around the vehicle and at that point, if he alerts, we'll go from there. If he doesn't alert, you get a warning, be on your way. Okay. So, we got to hang tight and wait for that. >> Why up? Why you got a question? Yeah. >> Cuz could you cuz you stopped you got to do that. I mean is a regular routine for you guys to do that? >> So like I said I'm part of the criminal interdiction unit. So one of my functions on the interstate is uh the interdiction of criminal activity. >> Hey Christina. I do have some additional questions for you. Okay. So in addition to traffic control I do is criminal interal crimes going down the roadways. Okay. Having said that I do have some questions. Don't take them personal. Um, do you have anything as far as like large sums of cash in the vehicle and access to $10,000? Anything of that? Anything for the manufacturer of fake IDs, credit cards? Anything as far as weapons like pistols, rifles? Uh, do you have any illegal drugs in the vehicle? Okay. >> No. >> No. No. >> Okay. So, in the state of Arizona, I have up to announce marijuana legally. Do you have any marijuana in the vehicle? Okay. Um, having said that, he did refuse consent to search the vehicle, which is totally fine. Um, but at this point, I'm going to have you exit the vehicle. Okay. I'm waiting for >> Can I ask what the purpose of this is all about? >> Yeah. I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle because I'm going be running my dog around the vehicle. >> Okay. That's >> I'm about to call it. [music] >> Is that a >> Yes. Um where [snorts] I have it hasn't been open. That's been there for like a couple days. >> Okay. All right. Like I'm not >> Yeah, we'll come back here. Okay. >> That's fine. All right. So, real quick, guys. Um, because you do have an open container in the front. You told me you had a bottle in the trunk, >> but I am seeing one that's in the front, too. Okay. So, at this point, >> I can't see anything. >> I got you. Yeah, you guys are going to be detained. Okay. For open container in a vehicle. All right. So, go ahead and turn around for me. Yep. Open. >> It's a misdemeanor in the state of Arizona to have an open container. Okay. >> Yep. That was That was last night, was it? >> I got you. But the thing is, if it's in the passenger compartment where you guys can get a hold of it, that's what makes it a misdemeanor in the vehicle. If it's in the trunk, it's fine. But if it's in the like the back, do you want to put your phone in your pocket or >> That's That's >> 431. I'm going to have two detained for open container. >> I mean, if Okay, be careful with this one. I broke it like >> Okay, give me one second. So, what's going to happen at this point? Because you guys do have an open container, uh, I'm going to be doing a probable cause search of the vehicle just to ensure there's no additional open containers in the vehicle. Okay. Um, officers began a thorough search of the vehicle after the suspect's story raised doubts. Hidden inside the female suspect's bag, they discovered drugs that demanded immediate testing. The results of that test would change everything. is yet. 431. Can you change nature to call the drugs? >> Huh? >> So, she's got these and a white crystalline substance. I can't tell that's the pills crushed up or if it's [ __ ] it's meth. I mean, you can see a shard right there. >> Yeah, >> it's going to be meth. >> Nice. Um, she's also got tons of debit cards and EBT cards for different people that are not her. Um, you want Did I do that wrong? Oh, there it is. blue back here for a second and we'll grab an evidence bag or you >> Yeah, just bring a few cuz I mean we still got a bunch left to search. So >> So he right now he's going for open container. This was in the center console and these are all in the front by her. Um and then she's going for the >> possible 1381. I didn't see anything um like as far as driving behavior before the stop or like contact with them. I wasn't smelling it on them. Um but right now I'm just going for what we got and we'll see what we find as we keep going. >> Sounds good. We'll go for a while. >> Yeah, I saw that. >> Everywhere. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, uh car is getting towed at this point, so After discovering drugs in the female suspect's wallet, officers intensified their search of the vehicle. What they uncovered next shocked everyone on the scene. The full extent of the stash was far beyond expectations. >> Got to grab my pride tool. >> Yeah. Oh, it's loaded. Back door's loaded. Meth. The back panels. >> Yeah. >> Loose. 431. Can you know I'm going to have 2105 for transportation of dangerous drugs? >> Let's go, bro. >> So, you >> pull pop that and then start on your light in there. You can see it. >> Oh, yeah. >> Let's check the other one. I got to call Danny. Is that one loaded too? >> Loaded. Nice. >> Back right door. As soon as I looked at it, it's loose. Pop the rubber. You can see the meth in there. >> Good job, dude. >> Thanks, man. [clears throat] All right, I'll call Kyle and I'll get one rolling. >> All right. >> So, you can see right here. >> Yeah. >> It's freaking like you can just pop the whole thing off. Just barely even on there. Let me see. They just barely suck it back off. Bro, that's fully loaded. Is the other door loaded? >> No, I didn't see anything in the other door. >> Do you got a poop brown paper bag? >> I got some. I'll get some in a minute. >> Officers confronted both suspects again, revealing the truth about their lies. Despite the evidence, they continued denying any knowledge of the drugs. The police moved quickly to take action against them. >> I told you this is what I do for a living, bro. It was criminal interdiction. Okay. So, I found all the meth hidden in your car, or at least some of it so far. We're going to be tearing the whole car apart at this point. So, you want to tell me how much you're getting paid to drive it? >> I didn't even know it was loaded, man. >> Come on, man. >> I I swear to God, bro, >> bro, you've had the car for months. >> Yeah. >> So, >> but I I didn't I didn't know it was loaded. Okay. So, the thing is, man, like like I said, all I do all day long is criminal interdiction. Okay. >> I understand. That's >> So, >> when you tell me you didn't know? >> Well, I didn't I I didn't know that. >> It's your car, bro. >> I know. It's my car. Yeah. >> Okay. So, I see you have tattoos, bro. Are you clicked up? >> No. >> Were you clicked up when you were younger? >> Yeah, when I was younger. Yeah. I >> Who you clicked up with? >> Serenos. >> Serenos in LA or what? >> In LA. >> Okay. Uh yeah, man. So, you're under arrest for transportation of uh dangerous drugs, which is methamphetamine. Okay. So, that's a class two misdemeanor. Um you're also going to be charged with possession for sale and possession of dangerous drugs, which are a class four and a class six misdemeanor or a class. These are all felonies, I'm sorry. So, they're all felonies. All right. Having said that, now's your time to be honest with you, bro. >> Shoot. I didn't know it was loaded, man. I mean, no one's just leaving that much meth in a car, bro. You've had it for months. >> I know, but you >> you went to LA for a day. You came back and you're going back to Albuquerque. Okay. So, no one goes to LA for a day, bro. Okay. >> I got my mom over there, boy. >> Okay. And I understand, dude, but like >> I I'm I'm there for the weekend. >> You're only there for a day. >> Yeah. Yeah. But you know, I went over there for the weekend. >> That's That's a How How long it take you from Albuquerque to LA back. Would you find that suspicious? >> I don't know what that guy's doing. You know, I don't know what he's doing. >> I got you. So, like I said, man, you're under arrest for transportation. >> Ma'am, I'm going to have you step out for me. Okay. >> [ __ ] >> Have you go to the front of this car right here? Okay. My phone. >> Yeah. All right. So, I'll have you stand right here. Okay. So, do you want to tell me about the meth? >> The what? >> The methamphetamine. >> It was in my pills. >> Yeah. >> Yes. I found that in my kids's bag and I put it in my purse and I had it in there ever since. I forgot to take it out. >> Okay. >> But that's what that that's where that's from. >> Okay. But you knew it was in there? >> I knew it was there. It just I forgot that it was in there. >> Okay. >> But yes, I had got it cuz I found it on my kid in the backpack from school and I stuck it in my purse. >> Gotcha. So, um, what about the large quantity of meth in front of me in the car? >> The what? >> What about the big bags of meth that we found in the car? >> What big bags? >> What? >> So, do you want to tell me where you guys went when you were in LA? >> We went to his mom's house. >> Okay. >> We were at his mom's. >> So, were you with him the entire time he was in Los Angeles? >> No. >> Like, I was there at the at his mom's and then we went to the store like a few times, but that was it. How long has he gone to the store? >> No more than 30 minutes. >> Okay. Um, so just so you're aware that you are going to be charged with transportation of dangerous drugs. >> Wait, what? >> You're in the vehicle. The vehicle's in there, though. Like that. >> Okay. Well, >> they were both charged with transportation of dangerous drugs for sale and destruction of evidence. Additionally, the female was charged with possession of a controlled substance, which was located hidden on her body, attempting to conceal it while being booked into jail. Next. This mother was so terrible that the police were speechless when the officer found her. On March 16th, 2024, officers responded to a possible DUI case and found a vehicle that hadn't moved for a while. >> I took the keys out. >> Oh, okay. I don't want >> I already took the keys out. There's a kid in the passenger seat. >> She breathing. >> Yeah. >> Let's wake up. You say Madison? Madison is the first name. That's what the RORO is. If that's her, >> Madison. Madison. >> Hey. >> Hey. >> What? >> Are you Madison? >> Yeah. >> Can you look at me? >> No. >> Hit the ass. >> What? >> The assassin light. >> What? >> The light. The light. The light. The light. >> The light. Okay, I got you. Okay, so I pointed it away. >> Yes. >> Okay, there you go. Hi. >> Hi. Good morning. >> Good morning. >> How are you? >> I'm good. >> Where do you live? >> Stopped cuz I needed to take a breather. >> Yeah, for sure. >> I was upset and like >> Where did you come from or did you just leave the house to go take a drive? >> I dropped somebody off somewhere. I was going home. >> You dropped somebody off? >> Yeah. And then I stopped. >> Okay. Do you have any ID on you? >> Yeah. >> In your purse or something? You don't have any weapons in the car? Knives or guns or anything like that? >> Okay. >> Thank you. Oh yeah, you were out. You were sleeping real good. You were deep into dreamland. >> 6104547 9749. >> Were you coming from a house around here? >> Do you know somebody over here? Do you know where you're at? This is 27th Avenue and First Street. >> Yeah, literally I was leaving. >> Leaving. >> Leaving who? >> Dropping somebody off. >> Who is that? >> At house. >> Yeah. Who Who did you drop? >> Charlie. >> Charlie. He was at your house earlier and then he brought you brought him home. No, I went to go pick him up and like I got dropped off at a house. >> Okay. >> But my car was messing up so I stopped here. I was like getting ready to pull down that way and that's probably when I I guess fell asleep. That's actually happened. >> Well, you put the car in park so that's good. >> I mean that's been happening. >> Yeah, at least that you did that. Yeah. What were we doing with the bottle? That was just what? Yeah, >> it's just >> you just carry that around with you. >> I just carry it around. But when I go to meet up with my friend, I'm getting arrested. >> What's that? >> If I'm gonna get arrested, can we just do that? >> Yeah, but there's a process, so we can't just like >> We don't just hold people to jail. >> Fast lane it. Yeah. >> Another officer arrived on the scene and quickly gathered all the details from the lead responder. They focused on assessing the woman's condition, suspecting she was dangerously intoxicated. What they uncovered next would determine the course of the investigation. >> Is it going to pull out? Like, what's it going to do? And I'm like, well, it's been some time now. I have to go. Now I have to go investigate. >> Now I got to go take a look. >> Yeah. Now I got to go take a look. So as I pass by, I see her like just slumped over, right? So I'm like, well, so then I come back around here to try to get in front of her just in case she tries to take off. She had a bottle of fireball in between her legs. So seeing all that, the car was on. It was a park. I didn't want her to get spooked and take off, especially with the kid. So I reached in, took the keys out. They're both knocked out, but the keys are on top of the the hood. And had to shake her to get her to wake up, drool, and everything. So when she noticed the fireball, she tried to put it away. I already saw it. >> Yeah. >> Well, yeah. I may need you to come pick up a ride. >> I stopped and >> call a ride for >> stopped. I don't know what's going to happen, Tony. But >> how much have you had to drink tonight, Madison? >> A couple beers. >> A couple beers. and a couple shots. >> All right. Well, why don't you do me a favor and step out for me? Okay. >> Yeah. They're they're doing their thing right now, so I got to go. >> All right. Bye. I love you. >> You said you had a couple of beers and some fireball. Where did Where were you drinking that at? >> At home. I check her to a friend's house. >> Okay. All right. >> Officers prepared to administer a field sobriety test to determine if the suspect was fit to continue driving. Every step of the process held weight as they watched closely. The outcome would reveal the truth behind her condition. >> All right, step right over here for me. See where my lights on uh on the ground here? Stand on there for me. Turn and face me. I'm gonna ask you to perform a few standardized field exercise. You willing to do that for me? >> Yeah. >> First thing I need you to see the uh red light here. I'm moving from side to side a few times. I want you to follow with your eyes on keeping your head still. >> My eyes are very dry. So, >> okay, I understand you. And I'm going to go in a couple small circles and come towards your nose. I'm not going to touch you. Okay? If your eyes feel like they're going to cross, just let them do it naturally. Okay? Follow the light. Okay. All right. Do you have any problems with your knees, ankles, or back affect your balance at all? Okay. What I'm going to have you do is I want you to turn and face that way. I want you to put your left foot on the white line. I want you to put your right foot in front of me just like this. Keep your hands down by your sides. Okay? I don't want you Yep. I want you to stand just like that until I ask you to move. Do you understand? When I ask you to and only when I ask you to, you're going to walk nine steps forward. Maintain heel to toe contact with each step, keeping your hands down by your sides, and count your steps out loud for me. Okay? Once you take your ninth step, you're going to use a series of small steps to turn around, which I'm going to also demonstrate for you. All right. Once you turn around, you're going to walk nine steps back. It's going to look and sound as follows. One, two, three, all the way out to nine. Once you take your ninth step, you're going to use a series of small steps to turn around like this. Then you're going to walk nine steps back. One, two, three, all the way out to nine. Do you understand? >> Again, you're going to keep your hands down by your side. You're going to count your steps out loud for me. Count your steps out loud for me. Once I tell you to begin the exercise, I want you to complete the entire exercise without stopping. Do you understand? >> All right. >> Go ahead and begin for me. right now. >> Okay, let's begin right now. >> 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Turn around. Do it again. >> Yep. >> 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 >> Okay, come back over here again. I want you to turn and face me. Keep your hands down by your sides. Okay, this exercise is called the one leg stand. Okay, >> my balance is really bad. I'm going to fail this as Dude, I'm not even kidding. I can't even do that when I'm like, >> okay, what I have you do is put your feet together for me. Keep your hands down by your sides. You're going to pick the foot of your choice, whichever one makes you more comfortable. You're going to raise approximately 6 in off the ground like this. Okay. >> All right. >> Keep your hands down by your sides. You're going to look down at your elevated foot. You're going to count out loud in the manner 1,00 1, 1,002, 100,004, and so forth until I tell you to stop. Okay? It's a timed exercise. says, "I'll tell you when to start and when to stop." Do you understand that? >> Take your hands out of your pockets for me and begin. >> 1001 100,000 800 9 10 11 12 Keep going. >> Yep. >> I can't [ __ ] stay either way. >> Okay, stop. What I want you to do now is take your fingers, index fingers, point them down. Keep your hands out like that. Put your feet together for me. You and only when I ask you to, you're going to tilt your head back like this. And you're gonna close your eyes. I'm keeping my eyes open for officer safety purposes. Okay? With the hand that I tell you to, when I tell you to. You can bring the tip of your finger to the tip of your nose back down to the side. It's gonna be Look, look at me. Okay? I want you to see this. The tip of your finger. >> When the suspect failed to follow instructions, officers acted swiftly and arrested her for DUI. She insisted she was innocent, but the evidence spoke otherwise. Meanwhile, they contacted her relatives to ensure the child was safely picked up. >> Left hand, turn around, face my car for me. This time I'm placing you under arrest for DUI. >> Can I get a brother? >> Yep. Soon as we get to the jail. The >> jail? >> Yep. >> That's all right. I got to call Tony though. I got to let him know. I got to call dude about my kid. We can pick him up. Can I do that? >> Yep. Give us just a second. >> I need my phone so I can call >> We're going to take care of that. Give us just a minute. >> Do you have anything on you? Nothing illegal? >> Nope. >> Okay. If you introduce Can you All right. You're walking too far. Can you face the car? All right. I don't know if you mentioned it, but if you take anything into jail, it's an additional felony charge. >> I don't have anything. >> Okay, but I have to tell you that, right? So, just in case. >> Okay. Well, I'm going to search you anyways. >> I just woke up and so that's probably why I tell you. >> Oh, okay. Well, we're beyond that now. So, we're on to the next step where I'm going to search you. >> I got my car and I fell asleep. I'm sorry. You want to Whenever you're finished, whenever you want to act like an adult woman, we'll continue. Okay. >> I mean, once we get to the jail and we find out that I'm actually not sure, you guys are arresting me for no reason, then. Yeah. >> I don't know. >> You just almost pulled my tampon out. >> Are you done yet? >> No. You literally just almost pulled my tampon out, too. >> I don't know what that is. >> Well, why don't you ask? I mean, unless you want it. >> Relax. All right. Relax. I just woke up. Go ahead. Slip your shoes back. Put your shoes back on. >> I'm arresting your video. >> Yeah. Help help her make a phone call, please. >> Let me do it. Like for real. I'm not I'm not I'm a cool I'm a cool person. Just let me call. >> Okay. So, let's have a seat. Okay. Hi, this is >> a bubbly woman. >> Good. How are you? >> I hear that. Are you able to come pick >> a bubbly woman? Do I get released? >> We'll see about that. So, have a seat. >> Huh? >> Have a seat. >> Can I get a sim? >> No, definitely not. >> Nadison, here's where this works. I'm telling you to get in. If you don't, I will make you get in. Okay, you can let go of my arm. >> No, I don't let go. >> Yes, you do. You're holding on too tight. >> I am cooperative, but you really are getting really too aggressive. >> And let go of me like that, though. >> Literally can't. >> I'm about to get into the car. You need to let go of my arm. >> So, either you get in or I put you in. >> I'm getting into the car. Let go. >> No, I'm not letting go. >> You don't have to hold on so tight. I'm not resisting. >> I'm getting in the car. I'm asking you politely to let go of me. So tight. So tight. So tight. Madison, >> I'm asking for later. >> They talked with the suspect who insisted on her innocence. Meanwhile, officers comforted the child, making sure the baby felt safe. They then briefed the person who came to pick up the child about the situation. >> Yo, >> yeah, I just woke up. I failed the the field sobriety test. >> What about the breathalyzer at the jail? >> Yep. You will have a breathalyzer at the jail. >> Then what? I get released, right? Then I will uh have a drug recognition expert come and do an evaluation to make sure you're not under the influence of drugs. >> Okay. >> You all right? You you up now? >> Hi, Deputy Deputy Rondo with the sheriff's office. How are you? You doing all right? Yeah. You don't want to talk with me or you just still waking up? You don't know?
