I just woke up and so that's why we allowed to stay outside. I tell you, when the police went to search her, she started acting strangely, as if she were playing around. She didn't grasp the seriousness of her situation with her intoxication landing her in legal trouble. However, the issue wasn't over yet. They needed to call someone to take care of the child before taking her to the station. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No reason to act like that. Okay. Let's try to control ourselves. Let's try to control ourselves. [Music] Whenever you're finished, whenever you want to act like an adult woman, I'll continue. Okay. I mean, once we get to the jail and we find out that I'm actually not. Don't you guys are arresting me for no reason? Yeah. Are you done yet? No. You literally just almost pulled your paper out on your chin. I don't know what that is. Well, why don't you ask? Relax. All right, relax. I'm getting into the car. Let go. No, I'm not letting go. You don't have to hold on so tight. I'm not resisting. Madison, I'm getting in the car. I'm asking to let go of me. So tight. So tight. So, she sounds like she possibly went to someone else's house then. I have no idea where the hell she's been there. Okay. She's definitely getting charged DUI. There's a possibility she's going to get charged with either child neglect or child endangerment. She's driving around drunk. Luckily, nobody got hurt tonight. DCF's going to get notified. Okay, we have to. I just like to give people the heads up so that you're not hanging out here one day and all of a sudden, knock DCF's here and you're like, whoa, thinking it's about time. I was I mean, I know it's a I have no idea. So, I can't tell you when. Obviously, I don't work for them. I don't know. They're definitely not the type where they may just wait till Monday. Okay. Do you have any questions for me? Um, it's not a serious question. No. Any any questions in there? Can I do you mind if I take the breathalyzer? I just want to see where I was at. No, we don't carry those, but I can tell you. No offense. Good thing you didn't drive. Yeah. Okay. I'm glad you told me that. Madison was charged with child neglect and DUI. While Madison spent the night in jail, our next suspect ruined her family vacation with her reckless actions leading to unexpected legal trouble. On March 24th, 2024, an officer observed a vehicle speeding at 60 mph in a 45 mph zone and initiated a traffic stop. The cops approached and asked for the necessary documents for the investigation. Instead of complying, the woman tried to outsmart the police, thinking she had the upper hand. This behavior only raised the officer's suspicions even more. Do you have your driver's license or not? Give me one second, sir. [Music] You need to identify yourself. So, can you please do that? 134. Try getting his ID. Can you copy a uh sorry, Missouri 28? Yeah. Well, we want to get your ID and you're not giving it to me. So, can you please hand me your ID? It's more reason to because you have to hand me your ID. You have to give it to me. Just for your 14. She's not give me her driver's license or anything. She roll the window back up on me. Like you can This will go a lot easier if you just give me your ID. Yes, you do. You have to present your ID. You have no option. 134 Missouri. You have to present your ID. You have to present You have to present your ID. Yes, you do. You have to present your ID. 134. Can you get a supervisor? She's refusing to give ID. She's saying she doesn't have to and she wants to speak to a supervisor and she rolled the window up. Hey, show me your ID. Show me your driver's license. I just showed you. No, you didn't. I'm just as valid as my driver's license. Why can't you show me your driver's license? I have my driver's license, but I'll then show me your driver's If you show me your driver's license, we will we will go about our thing and do our thing. But if you keep messing around, we're going to go about it different ways. Show me your driver's license. technically. Yes, you technically have to. Lawfully. Lawfully you have to. Yes. Okay. Can I see it? Complying. Here it is. Well, I don't see you. Hold up for a half a second. No, you can't go. Information from the lady. No, you can't go. I want to see your ID. You're not showing it to me. Super. He's right here. Okay. But you're not showing you're not showing me your ID. Can I speak with Yeah, you're about to speak with him, but you're not showing me your driver's license. see it. When you hold it up like this, I can't see it. Let Let me write it down then. No, she just gave you the information. Well, I want to write it down. So, we stopped her for 1645, no tag, and then one brake light. She said she don't have to ID herself. She showed me her passport. Now, she held her driver's license for like a half a second. The sergeant came over to talk to the woman and help her understand the situation. However, their efforts to deescalate things became a challenge as she acted tough and made it difficult for them to do their job. Listen to me. This is a lawful traffic stop, which means you have to identify yourself, present your driver's license, and prove registration insurance. If you refuse to comply with our investigation, you will go to jail. Okay. For what? For obstruction of justice. What did I commute? Obstruction of justice. If you're not, if you're not going to comply, that's what's going to happen. We will drag you out of the car and take you to jail. That's how it's going to happen. Yes, ma'am. Now, do you have your driver's license? I just She held it up for a second. We need your driver's license. I showed him my passport. And I showed him my my driver. You don't need a passport to drive. You need your driver's license. Right. And I showed him my driver. Let me see it so I can take it back to my car. Ma'am, you are required to comply. Yes, ma'am. You are. by the law. Yes, you are. Well, the law book that we all have to go by show it, but I don't. Okay. Here's where we don't argue on the side of the road. Ma'am, we can take you to jail if you're hand. I did not get my driver's license. Okay. Then we're going to have I know who you are. I am. You want to come on this side? I don't because now we're about to take her cuz I'm done. Hey, Jesse, would you mind stay on that side? So, if y'all do anything, unlock the door cuz we're going to we're having you step out. Show you the option. Hey, look. Just unlock your door and we can You need to write it down where you can where you see it. Hello. Why is Let me see it cuz I got to take the camera's not on. I got to take it back. I got to take it back to my car here. Hand it through the window. I got to take it back. I got to take back it to my car so I can write some some stuff. Are you going to do that or not? Because it's the last warning. We're just messing around too long. I just said here's my Give it to me so I can take back to my car. Hand me your ID. Hand me your ID. No, Lieutenant. Yes. Hand me your ID. This is the last warning. Hand me your ID through the Hand me it through the window. Okay. She's refusing to hand me. This is not our preference. We don't want to have to do this. Hand us the ID. That's the thing. I don't know who they say they are. We told you who we are. We told you who we are. Hand it to me through the crack of the window and we're good. ID. Okay. Well, the door's locked. So, all right. Well, you have the window break. Sir, this is my child. Y'all don't question it. Not. But it's best if you cooperate. How old is your child, ma'am? Don't worry about that. All right. All right. Just take it. Hey, open the door. And we don't want to break the window. Open the door. Open the door. Open the door. He's right there. Open the door. Can I talk to Oh, no. There's no more. Open the door. Finally, the woman came to her senses and opened the door, deciding to cooperate. However, her son became a bit of a handful, acting just like his mom. Even though the officers tried to help him, his stubbornness made things more complicated. Step out here. Step out. Step out. Come here. Turn around. No, we're keeping. I know, but we're gonna keep it. Oh, hell. Don't go anywhere. ID is right there. Back there. Take her back there. Don't worry about it. You hear the key? Hey, step right here. You tell my child where y'all taking me? Yeah, we'll tell them. Go. Okay. You all right? Why is your mom not cooperating, dude? All I wanted was her ID. Hey, roll. Hey, you want to look at me and talk to me, man? Huh? How old are you? You got it. You're old enough. Is she in the car? Do the tag. I don't know if they actually got her information if you want to run it. How old are you, man? How old is old enough, dude? We're trying to help you, man. How old are you? 133. How old? How old are you? Because I need to know. Do you have anyone around here? To where? She got a Missouri tag and everything, but I'm trying to get him to tell me stuff. He's not telling me. He's old enough and you'll have to go to jail until you figure it out. Bro, look at me. Look at me. Do you have anyone out here that can help you or come pick you up? Where are they? The officers needed to call someone to look after her son before they could take the woman to jail. Instead of cooperating and providing the necessary information, she began arguing. Her defiance only added to the tension of the situation. He's not calling anybody. He's not talking. Because he's upset. I get that, but why don't you just cooperate and listen to us? Sir, you have my ID now. After the fact. After the fact. I'm just saying you didn't give me anything. You wouldn't talk to me. I had to ask over and over. Y'all have weapons. I don't We're not We're not told the reason my child is by ourselves. Yes, I get that weapons. But can we're not out here hurting people like that. We're not doing that. Oh no. Why you do? I don't know. There's a lot of stuff that's said and so how who can come get your son or who can help your son? I would like to see if y'all you know can let me off with just a u a warranty. You're not getting Yeah, you're definitely not getting a warning. I don't have any. I told you, hey, when we're out there, listen to me. Listen to me real quick. I told you out there if you just provided your ID, we'll go about it. No, you didn't. We will go about it that way. I would take care of what I had to take care of and we could go from there. is why I didn't want to give. So, you didn't want to give me your ID because you're afraid of law enforcement and we would steal your ID. It's been stolen from me before and I had to keep going through the riff raff and run around to get my ID back. Well, that's not the case. That's not what's going to happen. Well, I have to be precautious and that's why I showed it in the window. In the window. All right. Give me one second. [Music] Then who can get him? going up. And she said she didn't want us to hurt her cuz we got weapons and she wasn't going to provide ID. She's also saying she didn't know who we are. She said she wanted she didn't provide ID because we'll steal it. Right. So she So she wants she wants a verbal warning. So I'm going to take her to jail for it cuz I've had enough. We've asked her plenty of times. I don't know. So she said someone's in Pensacola that he can call to come get you think that's possibly a church. Okay. So she said Pensacola. Yeah. So, we can get him to tell us where he's coming from. He opened up. Well, anything else for me? No. He and I are going to go take his other That's good. We're going to take her to jail here in a second if that's the case. All right. What kind of What about What about the car? That's good. What about the car, though? We could tow it. Unless there's someone else here. Hey, he's calling. Is it his stepdad? Yes. Okay. He's calling his stepdad. Is there anyone that can drive the car? Um, his stepdad should be able to. Your stepdad should be able to. Yes, sir. Okay. But I would I would what? Appreciate being my ticket so that I can take Well, I told you what I was going to do earlier. So, that's way that's way besides that. Now, I just I don't know y'all. I said I came up here. I told you. I know. But I told you who I was. I told you what I the reason for him to stop. I understand. Well, you should have listened when I asked numerous times. I I had a supervisor come out and help talk to you and you still refuse to listen and ID yourself. So, that's not going to happen anymore. I apologize, sir. Having y'all coming? Yeah, it's it's way it's way it's way past it. You're going to jail for it. Okay. So So you have your ex coming to get him or your se or whatever current husband, he's coming to get him, right? Can he take your car also or do you want me to tow it? Yeah. Can he take the car or no? If not, we'll tow him. Okay. The woman was charged with obstruction and cited for several traffic offenses. This case escalated into something shocking. Not only did this woman leave her child unattended, but a disaster occurred that no one saw coming. Let's see how it folded. On May 26th, 2023, officers responded to a report of a vehicle on fire with two children inside in Florida. Fortunately, the bystanders were able to save the children with no serious injuries. The emergency rescue team was quick to arrive and managed to control the fire, but unfortunately, the vehicle was already badly burned. Police started collecting information and talked to the bystander, but the owner of the vehicle and the children were nowhere to be found. Heat. Heat. There wasn't a kid inside. I know. It's like I see it on the screen. like are they not telling her um when I pulled up it was fully engulfed and I walked over here and walked up and there was another lady another customer that had the two children. Okay. And I was telling her that they looked like they had been in the car because they had little soot on their noses and stuff. Okay. And the the woman inside when she whose car it is when she came and saw she kept saying her mom was in the car. Okay. But I don't know if that was just shock. No. Okay. She hatched out inside. Okay. Yeah, they're pregnant. Good. Can I ask you guys one more favor? Can you rip the bumper, the rear bumper off? It's the only other place it might be except for under on the frame. And I'm not going under there. Actually, I might be able to see it right there. We could spread it, too. Yeah, it might be on that sticker right there. So, that lady says that she saw the lady run out with the kids in the car. And it's the lady the mom kept saying, "My mom's in the car. My mom's in the car." So, there's probably no guy in the car. I don't know. Maybe. I don't know. She never said anything about a guy. She pulled up and it was already on fire. And the mom was out here getting the kids off. No, that's not it. This one here right here. It should say like the year, make, and then it should have the bent on it if it's on there. It's usually on the door, right? Yeah. We can't see that one. [Music] It's probably this one. As cops asked around and reviewed the CCTV footage, they gathered crucial information about the suspects. Employees revealed that the woman and her boyfriend did something shocking that put the children in danger. He stopped here and he said upstairs. He came No, not from upstairs. I would say a little bit like from the mall probably. I didn't see exactly where. I just saw him when he got in my vision. Then he says, "Oh, and he comes here." That's when I lose him. But Peter, our other manager, that's when he sees him sprint out towards men. Last time I raced what he was wearing or what he looked like. Not what he was wearing. I would say he was he was black, light-skinned, or mixed, something of the sort. He was bald and he had some facial hair. That's the quickest I got him. He sprinkled. But I don't know if maybe Peter saw You got somebody looking at the cameras for me? Yes, we do. All right, cool. For you only. Thank you. I appreciate that. You want to do it for them? Huh? I'll go back and see what he's at. Apparently, she was in the store for a while. Yeah, that's what they said. So, happy hour starts in an hour and a half. tonight. That's what I meant, too. Happy hour for lunch. Is it bad if I text you a picture? Would you guys mind describing mom if you remember what she was wearing? What she looked like? She had anything. I mean, it was she had a fake Christian Dior bag. How much detail do you want? Um, she had you remember what she was wearing or anything? She had like the braids. Yeah, braids. Okay. Could you split that for me? She had a tan crop top and um had black and white stripe on linen pants. Hold on. I'm going to get you a different statement. No problem. Can you get her? Apparently your material right there. Thank you. There you go. I only have two pins, so just hang one second. Just put what you saw, Mom and Dad. Everything that you saw. Here you go. Thank you. We can get a card. Where's the where's the cameras at? Everywhere. No, I mean where they where they check the cameras at Oh, the camera room is back over there in between the two doors where it's like I'm going to put in there. It appeared like she was shopping cuz she had stuff in her. Whatever you want to put is is perfect for me. I just need to I just need to prove that it was her. So, as long as you short Yeah, that's why I said like 55. Gotcha. Perfect. Thank you. Long story short, mom and supposed boyfriend. We don't really know if it's for sure. Um, showed up here, left two kids in the car, car caught fire with the kids in it. So, um, with, uh, I'm Jordan. Um, so, nice to meet you. Um, were you able to review it at all? I have to get back. Yeah, I don't know what the exact address is from there. Then we use the evidence.com upload so we can have him upload it there and I'll relay whatever he finds. He's gonna meet you over there. This is the all you're going to need for the arson willingly all engaging commission of a felony stolen vehicle. This is all you're going to need to charge for that. If you want to take this, that's easy. It literally is just a blur this big and and as long as we had it doesn't matter if she's passenger or driver, she's in it. That's all it matters. She's a suspect. I'm sure she's The woman was found inside the mall and one of the witnesses recounted the shocking moment when the vehicle caught fire. I was walking in and I saw like smoke. I said, "Oh, someone's got problems." As I walked by, there was another gentleman. We both were like fire. I believe he opened it and I saw the kids come out and I saw inside the car was already engulfed. And I grabbed the gentleman that opened the car, what did he look like? uh white male. Um he was someone who was coming. No, no, he wasn't my boyfriend because he went to his car to get fire extinguisher and I grabbed the kids and then once I saw the car like we need to go inside, can you just put the uh call screen, please? I couldn't even tell. Look, this was just her. Okay, it's coming again. 10. It is. I'm pretty sure. So, we'll probably have to find backed in right in front. Did you write the name down? I'll I'll call security here. The big reason why we're feeling that Van Beern was the last name. Okay. So, I want you'll do me a favor and lean back. Just ask the first name. Just relax. What's that? Just slow that breathing. Remember when is he final? No. All right. First name again. His first name. Can I get Can I get her to slow her breathing down just for a little bit? I think she'll be a little bit more compliant. Right here. Right there. Darius. Darius Vander. The medical personnel were assessing the children while the officer collected information and attempted to locate the man by contacting security to see if he was still in the area. Can you have them put out a bolo over the mall intercom? Yeah. For a Darius Van Beern. Darius Van. Yeah. I got you. Yeah, there's nobody in the car, I think. I don't think so. No, because the guy I think the guy um um came out and he was using the fire extinguisher here. Yeah. Yeah, but the there the the kids there was kids in there. Yeah. Yeah, they're out though. That's when she went to choking me. She wasn't hitting me. So, I'm like, "Bro, stop putting your hands on me. You a right to put your hands on me." And then that's when she going to tell me who in your phone. I'm like, "It's none of your business." So, she like, "Oh, is that [ __ ] from work?" Whatever. I'm like, "I'm not talking to her." So right there she knew that I talked to somebody but it's not her. She was putting her hands on me again. And that's when she when I went on the couch cuz I all my stuff was on the couch. I I leave with. So when I grab on the couch, she pushed me and you see the legs out. So that really cut my legs off. So I'm going to fall. So I fell on the couch and that's when she jumped on me. She went to pulling my hair and then that's when she like, "You gonna tell me who that is?" cuz now she crying and all stop putting your hands on me. She sc was putting her hands on me. She was on top of me. I like get off of me. So then that's when she went to choking me again. So I can't like Anna stop choking me. So that what made me pull up off of me and she on the floor. So now I'm on top of her again and I finally jumped up and I went out here like bro I'm gone. I'm tired. I went to breaking out like I went to cry and all this and like she went throwing stuff again. And she hit me back with my lid right here. And I got with that fin like she always put her hands on me. How long y'all been together? We 12 years. 12 years. Yeah. The woman was charged with two counts of battery and aggravated assault. Next up is a mother named Summer Justice who did something shocking that put her child in danger. Mothers are typically the ones who provide protection and safety, but this mother did the exact opposite. On May 2nd, 2024, officers responded to a call after emergency personnel discovered that a mother had overdosed her young child with elicit narcotics and promptly informed them. After the medical team confirmed that Summer was not following the prescription, the officers decided to detain her, but her defiant and immature behavior added to the chaos. Get away. We're fine. Just let her sit this way. Can you listen to it now? Who? Now you're done handling me. For Summer, being in handcuffs only fueled her anger and frustration. As her emotions spiraled out of control, she began to argue with one of the officers. Despite their attempts to calm her down, her defiance only escalated the situation, creating further issues. Please listen to the cops. All right. Piss. You should be pissed. And she's fine. No, you're done. You're done. You're done. You're done. You're fine. You don't assault a woman. Yeah, you touched me. [Music] No, you're staying here while they get them figured out. No. I guess. And while they were taking Summer to the cruiser, you wouldn't believe what she did. Her behavior became so outrageous that the officers had to handle the situation carefully. I You know what? I can't dispute that. I know. Um Yeah. Perfect. You want to just say I get photos. Take a look around. Yeah. Mom, I don't want them taking photos of my room that I just tore apart. It's not up to you. The baby. Wait, where's the manual? Oh, important. Let go of me. Let go of me. Stand up. This is ridiculous. Stand up. [Music] Wait. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up before it hurts even more to stand up. Baby, I love you. My car then walk. We're going to that car. Yeah, I got to search her first. Uh, well, there's only one side that has a cave, so uh, yeah, it'll be the other side. Ow. Here, I'll hold her if you want to search her. No. Sergeant, would you mind witnessing the search? Ow. Don't break my arm. Go me. Stop moving. You are under arrest. How many times do you stop? We have to punch you. [Applause] She has to relax. Summer was charged with resisting arrest, child endangerment with a controlled substance, obstruction, and possession of controlled substance. This woman was a real handful for the police. Not only was she being incredibly disruptive, but her refusal to comply with their lawful orders turned the situation into a real mess. It all took a wild turn when she tried to grab a huge signboard, leading to a chaotic encounter that the officer would remember for years. It all started on February 13th, 2022 when officers were notified about a woman causing a disturbance at a nearby store. The woman had been at the store for some time and when the cop arrived, she was still there. The officer attempted to speak with her, but she was unhappy in creating a scene. Morning. How are you? In an effort to help the woman understand the situation and avoid further drama, the officer calmly explained the warnings and issued her a ticket. However, her response was very unsettling. So, what are you doing all the way over here? I live in Strawley County and I paid my taxes. I've met you before. You live off of what you met, what you know about me. You don't know about me. Okay. Well, I'm just saying I met you. You're not going to threaten me. You already threatened me. She already threatened me. Nobody's going to touch me. Okay. I'm not I'm not going to.
