that line and put your right foot in
front of it so it's touching Heel To Toe

side I want you to stay in that position
until I tell you to stop hands down to

position until I tell you to start okay
do not start until I tell you you
understand that okay so when I tell you
to start you're going to take nine
heeled toe steps down this imaginary
line you're going to turn in the manner
that I instruct you to with a series of
small steps and then you're going to
take nine heel toe steps down that line
again okay while you're doing the test
you're going to keep your eyes on your
feet on my feet yep you're going to
watch your feet you're going to count
your steps out loud hands down to your
side and you're going to touch heel or
toe on every step
okay I'm going to demonstrate it so you
know what it looks like all right it
look like this one 2 3 simulating this
is your ninth step cuz I can't go nine
out into the middle of the road
simulating this is your ninth step keep
your front foot on that line use your
back foot take a series of small steps
turn yourself around safely like this
okay and then n heel toast steps back
down the line 1 2 3 all the way up to
nine correct nine down the line down and
then nine back nine down the line hands
down your side hands down or uh nine
heel toe steps down the line make that
turn as I instructed with a series of
small steps nine heel or toe steps down
that line again okay while you're doing
the test keep your eyes on your feet
count your steps out loud keep your
hands to your side and when you are when
every step touch heel to so okay once
you start this test do not stop until
you've completed it can um one of you
