I heard McDonald's launched a Grinch meal, so I came immediately. >> I got the Grinch meal. >> How these Grinch meals got me feeling. >> Y'all is going crazy for this Grinch meal, y'all. I just got off work. Busiest day of my life. >> So, McDonald's dropped a new Grinch meal and people are confused, excited, and some are disappointed. And I just wanted to talk about it. It looks festive. It's green. Looks fun, you know, but I see more adults than kids going for it. Not judging. I like a lot of especially throwback things. I just got a Baby Yoda Tamagotchi, so I'm not judging. So, first, let's look at some people opening their Grinch meals to see what it includes so we can get an idea of what's going on with this thing. Why are people excited about it? >> I got the Grinch meal. It comes with your choice of a Big Mac or 10piece nuggets, a drink, pickle flavored sugar fries, and surprise Grinch sock. The box was so freaking cute. McDonald's did such a good job with this. They give you a little shaker bag to throw in your fries. Then you add the Grinch salt and shake away. >> Okay, so let's see how they actually think everything tastes in there. But it's McDonald's, so I'm like, if you're eating McDonald's, I'm going to guess it's just going to taste okay cuz it's If you like McDonald's, it's going to taste like McDonald's food. [laughter] >> Oh wow. >> It's a good powder cuz it covers all the fries perfectly. >> It literally tastes like the McDonald's pickle that comes with our cheeseburger. Just my version. Literally that. The coolest part about this is the blind box Grinch socks that you get. You can either get yellow, red, green, or blue socks. I wanted the red ones and my brother wanted the green ones. >> I bet you I got green. Oh, I got yellow. [laughter] I'm going to buy her actually. >> Oh, wow. >> I also got yellow. No. Okay. They are cute though. I'm not mad at it, but green would have been super cute. All this for 15 bucks is totally worth it. The pair of socks. Highly recommend. Okay, that I spilled pickle powder on my pants. I think they probably did dill pickle because pickles are green like the Grinch. But I feel like they should have done like an onion or something cuz you know how the Grinch eats onions like apples. Dump that in there. Roll it. Shake weight. Who needs a shake weight when you have McDonald's shaker fries? Those are coated. Holy salt. Those are really good. They should keep making these shaker bag themed things. So, this is so fun. I'm wearing two three. >> Now, as far as the roll out, of course, the ones that got it, they're excited, but then you got the other ones that are very disappointed because unfortunately it's sold out already in some areas. >> The Grinch meal is sold out at both McDonald's by me. This is This is ridiculous. So, I go in the app. I try to get my fry. It says unavailable. I'm like, I ignore that. That should have been my first red flag right there. So, I get my code for my sweet tea. Pull her to the speaker. Give her the code for my sweet tea. And I tell her, I said, I want a medium Grinch fry. She repeats it back to me. She repeats it back to me. Okay, cool. Pull up to the window. The lady at the window said, "You got a a large sweet tea and a medium fry?" I said, "No, I got a medium Grinch fry." She said, "Huh?" I said, "A medium Grinch fry." She closes the thing. Then she's asking people, "Do we have Grinch stuff left? Do we have Grinch stuff left? She opens the window back. She says, "We don't have any more Grinch stuff." I said, "Well, take the damn fry off. Just give me the tea." I just I guess I'm going to go ahead and eat this rice, black beans, and grilled chicken. I guess I guess I guess I just wasn't meant to have the damn fries, and I'm just going to go eat the damn meal prep. I'm irritated. God damn, >> y'all. I got the Grinch box from McKitties with my Sprite. So, let's see what's in it together. It's so cute. So cutesy. So, got some fries. You know, what do I have? 10 peas. That, bro. Like somebody dressed up as the Grinch to like greet customers and all this other stuff and all these decorations, which once I get the video out showing how my McDonald's look, I will literally post it and let you guys see it. But they are going crazy for this Grinch meal. Promotion is going wild. You feel like you in Whoville. Like I can't. I can't. Like you might be in the Grinch's layer for real. Like it's too much. Like oh my god y'all. I'm going to calm down. I need you to calm down. No socks is not all that. They not all that. At this point it might even be cheaper to get the socks somewhere else. I don't know. Amazon. I don't know. It's um about $15 for the Grinch meal if y'all was wondering cuz I know I'm like how much for my McDonald's is damn near $15 for it was like 14 and some change. So yeah. Mhm. Please save me and the rest of the McDonald's workers because this is too much. I have seen some Raisin Canes Grinch meals, Chick-fil-A Grinch meals, In-N-Out Burger Grinch meals, and at this time they are all fake. I'm showing the images I've seen and videos I've seen so far with these, but just know they don't exist at the time I'm uploading this video. I don't know. Uh, well, McDonald's probably owns the rights right now to the whole Grinch thing. So, I don't know if I would see any more come out at any other franchise anyway. But, just so you know, these particular images, they are not real. So, you know, don't let anybody get your hopes up. So, if I put on my grown woman glasses and take off, you know, my inner child glasses. Obviously, this is good marketing. It's a nostalgia cash grab. U but enjoy it if you can. Just don't go crazy. Don't be like those people with the Starbucks barista cups. Don't go that crazy. Just enjoy it if you can. If that's not your thing, don't even worry about it. But we all get to peek in. Even if you don't want to get one yourself. >> These pickle fries. Get the ranch dipping sauce, cousin. I know those kids don't got no damn McDonald's money. I guess you just going to have to get it and eat it in their face. I got the Grinch meal from McDonald's. Honestly, this is why I got it. They have this Grinch salt, which is like dill pickle seasoning. Y'all know I'm a for some pickles. Got some fries, 10 piece nugies. Oh, you get some socks. Wait, I don't think they gave me my little bag. How am I supposed to shake this up? Oh, they played. I'm about to be ghetto, I guess. >> I got yellow. >> Judge your baby daddy. Don't judge me. Bring a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Both. It's the most elite combination. Like, for real. I'm not really a ketchup person. I won't lie. So, these are definitely worth a try if you like pickle, but if not, it's an experience. Don't put this on all your fries, though. Ranch. Get some ranch dipping sauce. Hold on. These pickle fries. Get the ranch dipping sauce. Look at all that seasoning on that one. >> Damn. It's hit with the ranch. They hit with the ranch. I take my whole statement back. I'm still not covering all my fries in it cuz that's too much. Sometimes all you need is McDonald's fries and a few minutes in your driveway and you can be a new person. A new woman. I was just hungry. And McDonald's. And when it comes to this sweet tea, this thing smacks. Honestly, I'd give it a 7.5 just for the sake of my experience in these cute little socks. Want to try it?
