Our next Karen drove 18 mi with a flat tire, completely ruining the wheel. But driving like that meant something was not right. He was grabbing my arm because you were walking towards him. All right, I'm going to go get my phone. I'm going to record him. On May 1st, 2024, a police officer in New Mexico noticed the car and decided to pull it over to investigate what was going on. What's going on? You know you're missing a wheel? I'm missing the wheel? Yeah. Do you know that at all? You don't know that at all by chance? No. Yeah. You're driving. You don't smell the smoke. Don't. Hold on. Stay right there. Stay right there. Oh, look. No, you're fine. Yeah. You're You're down to like It looks like you're down to the wheel. It's smoking and sparking everywhere. Northeast Heights where? Um 1100. Okay, perfect. Can I see your driver's license real quick? Sure. Where are you going right now? Home. Home. So, you just said you're coming from there. So, you're going there, too, as well. Uhhuh. Yeah. Those look like credit cards. Nope. Those look like credit cards. You don't have your driver's license? Yeah, I do. Do me a favor. Go ahead and turn the car off real quick. Turn the car off. Thank you. Turn the car off and go ahead and put the the uh keys up on the thing on the dashboard. [Music] Do me a favor. Yeah. You don't have any shoes on or anything? Go ahead and step over here. Okay. All right, put those up on your truck. Do you have any weapons on you or anything like that? Nothing at all. Do you mind if I check? Yeah. Okay, go ahead and turn around. Face that way real quick. Check. Okay, keep your hands up. Keep your hands up. Put your hands down real quick. Check. Got you. Okay, go ahead and do the thing. Just go ahead and hang out right here the back of your truck. On the other hand, the woman had no idea about the damaged tire, and you wouldn't believe her reaction when she saw it. Over here. Oh, you didn't know that that was happening? No. Why wouldn't you have noticed that? I was supposed to try just driving home. You didn't notice that you were missing a big tire and driving under your car. It's traffic. Sorry about that. Um we're allowed to enforce traffic and take our jurisdiction, right? But no, just in general, we'll stand over there. I ma'am, come over here and stand at the back of your truck. Yes, you do. Hold on one sec. Can you come stand over here? Go stand over there. Come over here. I'm just asking. Can you go stand over there, please? Ma'am, don't touch me. Come stand over here. You stand right there. What? Why is he touching me? Cuz you're walking towards him. He's telling you to stand over here. I'm not touching him. Well, you're not listening. I'm not walking towards him. No, you're not. He was grabbing my arm because you're walking towards him. All right, I'm going to go get my phone. I'm going to record him. Okay. Are they going to come do it or do they want us to do it? Are they willing to do it or no? He says that he'll do it. He's just to pick up uh first. Okay. Boy, if you just buy my cars for me. What am I doing? I'm not doing anything. I don't have any weapons. Okay, just hang on. We're going to conduct a DWI investigation and then if you're good to drive, then we'll let you go. Okay. Noticing how slow her responses were and how she couldn't stand still. The officer grew concerned and made the matter complicated. License, insurance. It's right there. There's a credit card. What is that? Credit card. No, my insurance is here. My license is here. Don't touch me. Well, don't come over there. Go over there. Absolutely not. Go over there. Absolutely not. No, you don't have to touch me. You do not have to come towards me. I'm touching you. I'm touching your It looked like you were going to fall over. No. Why don't you have a seat on the ground or something? No, I don't need to do that. You need you need five vehicles. Well, we were following your tire drag marks all the way over here from 528 in Southern. I just didn't know that I had that. Okay. Simply. Okay. So, hang out for a minute. Okay. An officer is going to come over here and they're going to conduct a DWI investigation. Move. Do not step on your trailer. Move. I I am not comfortable with you. That's okay. If you're not comfortable, you can go to the back of your chair. No, absolutely. I'm not comfortable with you standing. We're not comfortable. We think that you're going to try to get back in your vehicle and try to drive. That's why he's standing here. What do I have? I have a gun. I have a knife. You do? Nothing. Okay. I'm saying so you need to move it. No, you're threatening me. He's not threatening you. He is. No, he's not. He's standing there because we think that you're going to try to get back in your car. Don't Don't think that I'm not going to make a big deal of it. Of what? Of this. A waste of resources. How is this a waste of resources? Do you not believe that it was a major hazard that you were driving around the city on a rim? Seven. Seven. Yeah, it's a waste of resources. Okay. I'm not threatening anybody. I'm not doing anything. It's a waste resources. The hazard of you driving on the road on a rim like that is kind of threatening everybody. Well, I didn't even know that. That's a problem. I don't even see it. Do you see it? Can you tell how your whole car is tilted? No, I don't even see it. That's concerning. The woman was one step away from losing control as she started acting aggressively and made a scene. Go back to the back of the car like we asked you multiple times. Get out of my way. I'm not going to get out of your way. I'm going to ask you one more time. Good to go back to the other to the back of the truck. Stand right there. Touch me. Just relax for now, man. Just Why is Why are they kissing me? Because we have to investigate the situation now. I'm just [ __ ] Yeah, but now you just just pushed one of the officers. So that's a crime. No, I didn't. You did. I did not. Do you have some shoes in the car? Charles 5253. That female is going to be detained for a battery on a police officer. Do not do that. Do not try to eat me at all. Why are you touching me? I I have not done anything wrong. You did you've done two things, three things wrong. One, you're driving on a rim, which is what? Stop. That's it. Stand up. Take a seat. Take a seat. [Music] Yeah, she just kicked me in the Stop. Just relax. You're making You're making things worse. Okay. Why am I being Just relax. You want to sit up? Treat it like this. Do you want to sit up? What did I do? Do you want to sit up? I'm asking you. Do you want to sit? Do you want to sit up? What did I do? You need to sit right or left. Yeah. We're going to sit you up. Okay. You want to sit? No. That way you're more comfortable. No. Come on. Just roll over and sit down. Okay. I'm going to help you, Jennifer. Okay. Just roll over. She wants to stay in that position, but I'd rather she sit. I think we have to roll her on her back and then look at this time. You need to sit up here. There we go. She's going to start kicking. I am going to There you go. Sit up. Just sit up. Just sit up. I'm going to make sure that you guys need to sit up and you know who I sit up. Dr. Jen. Okay, he needs to sit up. A supervisor was called to assist with the DUI investigation, but the woman became emotional, making the inquiry much more difficult. The reason why I'm here, okay, is because you're suspected of being under the influence of either alcohol. Okay? That's the reason I'm here. So, in order for me to make sure if that's true or not, to make sure that you listen to me real quick. Just real quick, then I will let you talk. I will let you talk. I promise. Okay? Just listen to me. The reason why I'm having you You want your shoes? Let's go. The reason why I pulled you out, asked you to step out of the car, is because I just want to make sure that you're safe to drive that vehicle back home. Okay. Do you feel like you're in good condition to drive it home? Okay. I don't know that. Okay. Cuz I'm not a doctor. But do you mind performing some uh some field sobriety tests just to make sure that you're okay to drive? Yeah. Okay. All right, ma'am. In order for me to do that, okay, I have to take you out of handcuffs. Okay. But if I do that, I need you to be cooperative. Okay? I don't want him or him. They're good guys, man. They're good guys. No, they're not. Sometimes things start off on a wrong foot. Okay? If I may have been him. I may have been the one that had to put you in handcuffs. I I don't know what happened when I ma'am. So, what I'm going to do, okay, again, it's called the standard field sobriety test. Okay. What I need you to do, your hands are behind your back, so just leave them that way. Okay. Do you want to put on your shoes or you good barefoot? I'm good. It's not too cold. Okay. Do me a favor. Put your heels and toes together just like this. All right. And then Uhoh. Okay. Okay. So, the only thing is that if I have you stand like that, you can look at me. I'm going to hold you for now, but in order for me to perform this test, I can't hang on to you. Okay. You have to be able to stand straight, heels and toes together on your own power. Okay. Okay. All right. All right. I'm going to wait just a minute just to make sure that you're okay. Okay. All right. Perfect. All right. So, what I need you to do is go ahead. You okay? Yeah. Ma'am, you're swaying a lot. You going to be okay? I'm nervous. Okay, let me ask you this real quick, man. It's okay, Jen. Jen, it's okay. All right, we all have bad days, okay? I can smell coming from your mouth. Okay. Mhm. Uh, have you had more than two beers? No. More than one? No. How about uh more than one shot? I could I can smell the alcohol. Okay, that's why I'm asking you. I'm not asking you if you had I can smell it and it's coming straight from your mouth. Okay. So, have you had more than two beers? No. Have you had more than one shot? Two shots. What kind of have have you had? Just wine. Wine. Okay. Just a glass. Small glass. Big glass. Small glass. Small glass being like 12 oz. 16 oz. 10 oz. 8 oz. About 8 8 oz. Okay. How long ago? Uh what time is it? So right now it is 6:32 in the morning. Uh probably 4:30. about 4:30 a.m. in the morning. Okay. Have you gone to bed since then? No. Yeah. Okay. Okay. All right. So, let's get back to this test. Okay. All right. So, what I'm going to have you do, go ahead and look straight at me. Okay. Make sure you keep your hands and feet just the way they are. Put your feet Make sure that they're touching. You see where your toes are? Yeah. There you go. Perfect. Just like that. All right. So, what you're going to do, you see the tip the tip of my finger. All right. So, what I need you to do is you're going to follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only, not moving your head. Okay? Yeah. Don't move your head. All right. Go ahead and have a seat for me. Okay. Just real quick. I'll be right back with you. Okay. Can you have a seat for me? What's wrong? I don't want to have a seat. Since the sobriety test didn't go well due to her lack of cooperation, the officer moved on to the next option. But it didn't go smoothly either. In order for us for you and us to be able to confirm that you are not impaired to the slightest degree, we would need to perform a breathalyzer test. But if you refuse, then you're charged. I I I'll have to read some further information here. Okay. If but if you want to confirm that you're not under the influence, you can take the test. You still choose to not take the test? No. Okay. All right. I can't force you to take our test, but if you refuse, you will lose your New Mexico driver's license or non-resident operating privileges for one year. If you are convicted in court of driving while under the influence, you may also receive a greater sentence because you refuse. Do you understand? Okay. Your right to speak. Uh okay. So being given that information now, uh would you like to take the breathalyzer test? No. Okay. All right. Your right to speak to an attorney or remain silent does not apply to the requirement of New Mexico law uh that you take a breath test. Okay. You understand that? Okay. You agree to take a test at this time? No. Okay. So now to answer your question, okay, because you were cooperative, you know, this is it's it's your right to refuse. Okay. But because you were cooperative with me, okay, and you've been polite with me and with everybody else, I will answer your question as far as why you're under arrest for DWI. Okay. I I have a flat tire. That's the whole issue. So So So there's what's called totality of circumstance. Okay, ma'am. And I can't I won't go into detail. It'll be in the report. Okay. It'll be in your summons. So I'm not going to go into detail. Let me just tell you we have no weapons. We have one, two, three, four, five, six people. We're just here for your safety and ours, ma'am. That's it. Yeah. All right. So, I tried to explain, but I can't. We got to get going now. Okay. If I had a gun. Yeah, I understand. But I don't have a gun. One second. Can you start my declaration, please? All right, ma'am. I'm going to have you come back in here. Okay. All right. over here. Oh, come on. This No, these these got to stay on cuz you're under arrest, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. So, you're under arrest with DWI among some other charges, but it'll all be exped on yourself, Jen. Please don't do that. Come on. Come on, man. You're okay. You're okay. You're okay. You're okay. Come on. It can only get better from here. Okay. Not worse. How How can we talk on the way in? W I when I try to explain I'll explain it to you on the way. Thank you, Jen. The woman was charged with resisting arrest and DUI. Although the woman was drunk and the situation could have ended much worse, our next case was filled with even more drama. About to go up there and squirrel that in her mouth. I swear to God. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. You can't you can't you can't you're going to make a threat in front of police officer. Oh my bad. On January 29th, 2023, police responded to a report about a heated dispute between neighbors over the man's vehicle parking. That night, the situation escalated, leading to insults and getting out of control. Sir, what's going on, man? She The whole point is this right here. I got a new car. Okay. So, he just not got this car. Which car? Okay. He's been parking these cars up here on the lawn doing whatever. And that's fine. I ain't been complaining about it. Okay. She first off told the landlord on the whole road about how everybody parked, right? Okay. Before I had my new car, we was always parking either right here or either on the grass. Now, I park either one or two. He just continues to park his car right there. So then tonight he comes in, she pulls in first. Oh yeah, she about to leave. So go on ahead and you know what I'm saying? Pull in right there. Which is cool because I can get the furthest spike. He jumps out the car. Oh, you little stupid. You little stupid this that and the third. Your your daughter is a your daughter is a Hold on. Wait a minute. Nah. Why the are you talking about my child? Cuz we live in number one. Okay. She lives in number three. If you look at her rain camera, the the people in number two still park in front of her door, which is number three. I park right here all the time. Her space is usually uh I guess over there. We do not have assigned parking. We don't have assigned parking spots. The landlord said just don't park on the grass or we'll get towed. I just pulled up her on my side and called and say she need to talk to her. I parked over there. Well, she parked there right now. I parked over there when I pulled up and then she wanted to get in at her face about me, about where I park at. So, I'm like, hold on. Like, I don't care about how I park. Like, what is you talking about? Like, I ain't never ever parked at her spot ever. I don't care about spots, though. Nobody runs the streets. Y'all y'all the police. Y'all know I can park anywhere. Why are you talking about anything that's irrelevant to you parking your car? Now, like I told you, he just popped me in my throat and I got a Ring camera. Okay, let me show you what my Ring camera picked up. I'm not with none of this violence that he got going on. Would you like me to call an ambulance for you? No, no, no. I don't I don't need any medical attention. She keeps on talking about my new phone. times out of 10 he park over there. So she don't park somebody over here. All these empty spaces where Matt 3 weeks ago my car was not here for 5 days. As soon as I brought my car back here and my car was right here on the grass, she thought we had no car. She said we hit her car and she lied about that. So then the people sent out a letter and said don't park on the grass, right? My lift my apartment right here. We were parking right here. This ain't got nothing to do with nobody. This is my car. This red one. Which car is his? This one here. Now, he just got that this week. Okay. That car. Mhm. Is her car. Great. Is her vehicle blocked in at all? No. She in that red car right there. So, she's just upset cuz you're parking in a different space and she wants you to all the time. But it it doesn't matter. It's like then she want to bring up the kids. Then she wanted to bring her to school incident cuz see her her sister work for the school and my son was in the hearing. Did she come knock on your door? No, I pulled up at 12. No, we pulled up and she got out her vehicle over here which wasn't blocked. Yeah. And came out and talked to her and her ring camera was show her touching her like this right here. Did uh at any any point did it get physical at all? No, she just put her hands on me. She put her hands on her then that she she did like this to me and all. I did was move her hand. That's all. Both parties began blaming each other and the situation wasn't moving toward any resolution. However, the woman had video recordings of the incident and started making it a bigger issue. He don't know nothing about the video right now. I don't think she's going to tell him because he's saying y'all pull his name. Y'all going to see what what is the relationship? You guys are just neighbors. No, I'm just kid number three. No, I'm just I don't know you guys. I'm just trying to figure it out. Okay. Oh, no. Hold on. She got a ring camera like this camera. Y'all sent out a letter or they going to go up on the ring and we get off the grass. The grass is not even in front of her house. I got with Liz and after she left, she was par right here. She was par right there in that spot. She backed out left. Took a white dude somewhere downtown. That's why I parked that car that way and I parked my other car this way. About to go over there and squirrel that her mouth. I swear to God. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah. You can't You can't You can't You're going to make a threat in front of a police officer. Oh, my bad. You Let's be Let's use Yeah, let's not do that. All right, let's see who's talking. All right, I'm going to ask a couple questions. Let's put the phone down. You guys are just neighbors, right? You and him. Yeah, but look at this cars. Okay, so what? Okay, but when I came up, you said you didn't care about the cars. I don't care about the cars, but I was parking so that I could leave. I mean, no, listen. This is what happened. I was in my swag. I'm about to leave out. Old girl gets out of her car and she's telling him, "Oh yeah, she's about to leave out her swack. You can go on ahead and get it." What night? But in the midst of this all, he's yelling, "Man, tell that he's being." Yeah. So, I'm just like, "What ain't going no motherhere." You get what I'm saying? But he had to go. So, I backed out, left when I came back like this. So, would I been wrong if I would have parked behind her car with him being raped the way that he is and then pull his car up here to the walking area? You know what I'm saying? I could I could I could be really rude because they done hit my car before. Yeah. When we get here, it's I mean this is it's patty. So, it is wasting the police time. That's what we were saying like wasting the police time. Then you wait up one. She did this 2:00 in the morning 3 weeks ago. Yeah. You don't come here and talk to nobody on no regular times and be like, "Hey, I need to talk to you about something." You wait till 1 and 2:00 in the morning after you drunk or you high or whatever and we coming home and this is where I got to come into. She wasting y'all time, man. About a parking spot. About a parking spot that she lives she lives in that one right there. Yes. The people that live here, if you look at her ring, if she was to give you her ring information, they parked their cars there every freaking day. Well, if there's even if there are assigned parking spots, I mean, we can't enforce that, which is not just the law no longer to park on the grass. You I guess she thought it was a problem cuz we parked right here, but this was in front of our door. Yeah. It ain't in front of her door. We parked on the grass right here. to get in and out as she wants to. That is her red car right there. Which one's your car? That's my car and that's my car. Okay. And I ain't said what I'm concerned about is did he hit you in the throat or when you were He did hit me in the throat. Or was he moving you out of the way when you and the girlfriend? No, I was not arguing with her. I was showing her what her daughter did to me to my child and I just showed you. And what And what was the motion he did? Like it wasn't He chopped me like this and told me to move out the way. like literally my feet move. It was already late and realizing they had taken a simple matter too far, both parties calmed down. The police then reached a conclusion and resolved the issue without further ado. So, she would rather them not park their car. It ain't about a parking spot. How you my crack and you know what deal is? How about you know that? Get your hands out of your purse first of all. Okay. Well, you can take my hands out. I need a lighter at this point. That's fine, but I don't know what you have in there. Stop yelling. Okay. How old are we? You right. You right. And I'm not from this side of town. Like I don't deal with this. I only been here for 5 months. What can we do for you tonight? I'm not going to do this. What can we do for you tonight, man? Move his car from in front of my door. Okay. I can't even see my Is that Is that all you like? And and then I'm going to block in her car because he pulled it right there. So, I'm going to block in her car so I can see my because I have a room camera right there on my door. Do you not understand? I have blocks. Do you not understand? You've already threatened her on camera. I want to talk to you. You want to lock her in my door. You tell me you're driving. I can smell alcohol on your breath. I mean, how do we look at their cars and you're going to tell me that? Okay. You know what? You right. You right, officer. Whatever you decide to do once you leave is on you. Yes, I at home. What he's trying to say is if you're blocking, you're just creating another issue with us. Okay. And that's fine because that's what he wants. You get what I'm saying? If if I'm not going to move my car to create another issue by blocking them in, then you're taking responsibility for part of the problem. Okay. Well, you know what? It's whatever. I'll leave my car over here so my ring camera can't pick up who with my car and who doesn't. No, it ain't yet until y'all come back out here tomorrow when it's parked over here and my ring camera all the way over there when you see one, two, three. So my camera is not going to pick up all the way over here on four, five, six, and seven. You get what I'm saying? Yeah. So now tomorrow when y'all come out on your shift, it's gonna be over because somebody else going to pick it up because somebody else done up my car because y'all done said it was all right tonight. You get what I'm saying? I'm not going to have that. I got to go to work in the morning. I got Why do you think your car is going to be damaged? Oh, why wouldn't it be? Yeah, it is. Because no one's trying to damage it. Oh, you don't think so, man? Go on back to east side. I mean to the southside, wherever you're from. I ain't got time for you and your your assumptions either. You guys have assigned spots? No. No. Got it. Okay. Here's what we're going to do. Whose car is that? Me. Ours. We'll park it the right way, please. Okay. Is that Is that your car? Yes. Can we park? Nobody's drunk, right? No. Can we park these cars the right way real quick? Yes. Everybody in the morning. Hey, what's wrong with that? Let's all go back to bed. If you guys have any issues, all right, give us a call. That's what I even Do you have a a landlord or something here, ma'am? Yeah, I sure do. All right. If you have any if you have any complaints as far as like the parking feel free to feel free to give. All right. I already did that, but thank you. I'll do it again. All right. He walking up on me now. You better check your I don't give a The man understood the order and complied. But on the other hand, the woman caused a scene, making the situation worse. Yeah. I'm about to park in between. Nope. You're not going to park your car. Yes, I am. No, you're not. Come back over here. Right there. You just not asked me if I was going to move. No, you gave me an option, ain't it? Did he not give me an option? You're not going to talk at me. We're going to talk. We're adults. No, I didn't. I said yes, you did. You said, "Are you not going to Are you said, are you going to drive?" I asked you a question. I said they just now drove their car and they lit. You going to let me talk? Nope, I'm not. That's what I'm telling you. So, why can't I move my car over there in front of my vision? I'll make it really simple for you. You ready? I touch that car and call. All right. Go ahead and go ahead. sit there until I move my car in because I'm going to move it over there. We can play if you want to be petty. We can be petty. We're not going to be petty. Have a good night, sir. Thank you. Yes, sir. Yep. Sit. Uh, thank you. Go on in your house. Your little stupid little You want to talk about my baby? You want to put my baby in this? Are you done? No, I'm not. I'm done with you. I'm talking to him. No, you're not. cuz you just now you just initiated that because you just now respected the fact that he done came out here and did all that moving cars around and you going to tell him thank you sir my crush y all right have a good night yep and make sure you watch my car cuz I'm going to move it okay shut up your t over here got you doing on my go y'all off. Got you. That's fine. That's fine. Drop your purse. Drop your purse. You can drop it. May I ask why I'm being arrested? You are. No, I'm asking why I'm being arrested. This way. Okay. It's 1:20 in the morning. You got your neighbors all outside, but we'll deal with it. Well, no, it's fine. No, it's fine. We'll deal with it this way. We'll deal with it this way. We didn't have to take somebody. Yes, we did. Just sit right here and talk to him for a second. Okay. I really don't need to go to jail. I just really want them to stop with me, man. His kids is on my child. I hear you. I just showed him the I just showed him the picture. I'm sorry. Like for real. Like I don't need to go to jail. I got a baby. I got a house. Oh my god. Pull his name. That's what y'all need to do is pull his name. I called y'all, man. I called y'all. This is not fair. I called y'all, man. I did. I called you guys. And I'm telling you that they keep on wrapping me like I'm ready to go. I just moved from Olympia. Explain. Let me explain my point now. Okay. When I come up, you're the you guys are yelling and I come and talk to you and when I try and talk to you, you keep yelling and you said you were going to fight the girlfriend and then you're I give you the option of going inside and and ending all this. I had to move the cars like you asked and you said you started as soon as I started leaving you started cursing at them. Can we talk about the the the subject at hand though? right when you got here. Why are their cars parked like this? I understand. You get what I'm saying? But that was solved. I moved the cars and I gave you options. I told you we can talk to tomorrow. I got to deal with the same. I'm already told the landlord. The landlord sent out a letter. I'm the reason why the landlord sent out the letter. Yes, I know. I'm in the wrong spot of text. I know this wrong spot. It has nothing to do with that. Yes, it does. It absolutely does. Like, like I said, keep contacting the landlord. Eventually, they can end up towing their cars. I don't know how the eviction process works here. If they can get them evicted, it's that serious. I'll move. Okay. No, I'm moving. After the woman calmed down, the officers understood her frustration. So, they showed leniency and made things a bit easier for her. I'm going to take you out of handcuffs. I'm going to give you the release form. You can be released on subpoena. They'll contact you with a court date through the mail. Okay. I think they're inside now. Let's just go back from where you got to go. Let's go inside and go to bed. Okay. Mhm. Can I move my car in front of my camera? Yeah. Can and y'all put it in between them two cars. I feel like something happened to my car. I really eat my car. I got to I got to go to work. Okay. The Well, the only reason I can't let you drive is cuz I still broke, right? And you get into an accident here and and you get arrested for DUI and the jail actually take you then. And I don't want to make that happening. Can one of y'all move my car in front of my in front of like just in between them? I don't feel comfortable doing that. If you have a neighbor or somebody that's willing to do that, be my guest. Okay. Yeah. Absolutely. Okay. Snow, sir. I have no control over none of y'all decisions. Okay. I don't even want her to go to jail. Okay. I mean, she just the way she was acting. We told her so many times. You don't want to go to jail? She's not going to jail. She's going to be So, she's being charged with disorderly conduct. She's going to be released on subpoena. Absolutely, man. Yes, sir, man. For real, man. We all supposed to be neighbor. I don't I don't wish nothing none of that. Just try to stay out of each other's way tonight. All right. Until things come down. I got you. I understand. I I promise I'm cool with that. How you doing tonight, man? I'm sorry to call you way over here for this nonsense. Here's your bag, your wallet, ID card, your phone, everything's back in there. Okay. The woman was not charged, but was released on a subpoena. This female named Giovana met the officer at her worst time and her trip home went from a routine drive to a dramatic encounter that she hadn't anticipated. I'm in the circus, so like maybe there's here or there, but like no. Would you consider yourself in like perfect health? On April 25th, 2024, an officer from the Florida State University Police noticed a vehicle driving erratically and failing to follow traffic rules. As a result, he initiated a traffic stop. Giovana had no idea that the officer had even pulled her over, and her response was quite off when the officer asked her some questions. Hello, I'm Officer Smith with FCPD. How you doing tonight? I'm good. How are you doing? Well, do you know why I'm stopping you? Oh, I'm just getting gas. Okay. Do you know why p why I'm pulling you over? No, I'm pulling you over. Oh, why? Oh, because when you're making the we were coming out of the roundabout there in College Town, you drove over the sidewalk. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Yeah. Is there any reason? Oh, no. I was trying to get home. Okay. Where Where are you coming from? Um, I was at Wilbur's and so I was just trying to get home. Okay. Where's home? Okay. So, right down the street. Yeah. Okay. Can I see your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance, please? Thank you. No. Are you the registered owner of the car? Yeah. Okay. Sorry, I have napkins and No, you're fine. No, so I'm just trying to get home. Okay. I'm just down the road. Okay. Yeah, that's fine. Did you notice you drove over the curb? Yeah, I did. Okay. Okay. Did you just not see it or Oh, no. I was just turning and it was a little bit of hard right. So, Gotcha. Okay. Do you have the uh registration as well? This is the insurance. Yeah. Um should be in here. 4:30 headquarters 10:27. Are you a student here in town? Yeah. Okay, cool. I have two. I just recently got it renewed um that's fine. In March. So, are you the only registered owner? Um, technically my parents The officer, however, was determined to figure out if Giovana was being truthful and whether she was safe to drive. I had a couple drinks, but like nothing over whatever I'm supposed to. I'm just I'm like I'm just trying to get home. Okay. How many is a couple drinks? Two. Two. Or beer, liquor, wix, whiskey, wine. Liquor. Yeah. Okay. Okay. About how long ago? Um, maybe like an hour and a half ago. Like I'm definitely not over the legal limit. Okay. Like I'm I'm fine to drive home. Okay. Would you be willing to step out and do some voluntary field exercise for me? Um just to make sure you're good to get home from here. I mean I I think I'm completely fine to get home. Yeah. And the only reason I ask is because since you did drive over that curb, I just want to make sure literally that was like a drive over. Yeah. Between that between that that's why I'm trying to make sure you're good to drive from here and which is what the exercise would help. I'm just I'm fine to drive home. Like I'm right there clearly. So I would like to not participate in that, but I am completely fine to drive home if you would like to follow me. Like that's completely fine, but I'm 100% fine to drive home. Well, I'm not 100% sure you are. So that's why I want you I'm asking if you do the exercises to see if you are going to drive home. And if you don't, that's your choice. But I have to make my decision on what we do next. Whether it be letting you drive home, giving you a ticket, or arresting you based on what I've seen so far that absolutely. Um, what type of exercises would you have me do? Standardized. So, I'll look at your eyes, uh, walk and turn on a line and balancing on one foot. Okay. Yeah, I'm fine to do that. Okay. Giovana then underwent field sobriety tests and despite her attempts to hide it, the truth began to come to light. Sorry. Do you have any medical problems I need to know about? No. So, do you have any like concussions, any eye problems, uh medical problems like diabetes? Not schizophrenia or schizophrenia, I guess, seizures. I'm in the circus, so like maybe there's here or there, but like no. Okay. Would you consider yourself in like perfect health? Yeah. Okay. All righty. Um, so for the first one, I'm going to check your eyes. If you could just stand with your feet together. Or actually, if you stand right just right there for me, we'll just stand like this. Like on the spine. Close enough to right there is fine. So stand with your feet together and your arms down at your side for me. And then I want you to focus on this blue light with your eyes and your eyes only and don't move your head. You understand? And same this is going to come towards your nose but just keep keep your eyes on it. Just follow it with just your eyes only. Okay. Okay. So now it's going to go up as well. So just follow with your eyes. Ready? You can relax. So if you would stand with your left foot on the line in front of you, with your right foot in front of it, with your right heel touching your left toe, and put your arms down at your side, and do not begin until I tell you to. Do you understand? So, when I tell you to, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps down the line, leaving your lead foot on the line and turn by taking a series of small steps with the other foot. Then, returning one in front of the other. Yes. Then returning nine steps back down the line. Keep your eyes on your feet at all times and count your steps out loud. Um, and don't use your arms for balance. If you ever step off the line, just step back on. If you ever don't stop, but if you do have to, just keep on going. So, it's going to look like this. 1 2 3 4 5 and so forth until you get to nine. Turn by taking a series of small steps and then one two three and so forth until you get to nine. Okay. May I take my shoes off? These are relative new shoes. Haven't broken them in. Thank you. All right. You have any questions or anything? No. So, left in front of the other. Yep. Yep. So, left foot on the line, right foot in front of it, and then um continue the truck. All right. And then arms out to side. All right, you may begin. Hiding the truth wasn't easy and Giovana underestimated it. As the evaluation continued, things started to turn against her. You may begin. You may relax. Um then if you would just sit on the bumper of my car right quick. Um while I I got to grab my phone and then chat with Parker. Come over here. What do you think? You're pinpoint as hell and like nestagmas but like very long slow. Smelling really good. She's in a circle. Yeah. Yeah. She stumbled when she got out the car. She drove over the drove over the side walking around about I don't know. It just My DR is kicking cuz she's got to be on. All right, man. So, I I do think you've had too much to be driving. Okay. So, you are going to be you are going to be placed under arrest for DUI. Okay. And I will be completely fine driving to my apartment if you would like to follow me. If you would like to follow me, that is So, I'm going to need you to turn around and put your hands behind your back for me. Okay. Please. I'm so sorry. Okay. It's okay. It's okay. The officer tried to calm her down and avoid making the situation worse. However, Giovana became emotional, making things more complicated. Officers, officers, can you please do something? Don't resist. I know. I know. Take a breath. Take a breath. You'll be okay. Okay. 4:31 [Music] 10:15 I think so when we get home just follow um I I'm a I'm a straight A student. This is not what I need. I have a super stressful week. This is Come on over here for me. Okay. I do not want to please just listen to me for two seconds. The decision's made. Okay. Just just listening to you. Okay. We're listening to you. The decision's right. Okay. No, I'm I'm completely fine. I please don't. Please, please stop. You're fine. Just sit down. Don't Don't get in. Sit your butt right there. Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm I'm completely fine to drive. Like, I swear to God, I have had a very stressful week. I know. But you've had I'm I am fine. You've had you've had too much of I I will be completely fine driving home. Um I know. I'm just calling Britney over 4:30 to 4:22. I am I am completely fine. And I understand that you are past that. I do not want to get in any trouble. This week has been absolute for me and I'm so sorry that this has had to happen. Um, I can drive. If you would like to follow me, please do. I do not want to get in any trouble. Like, I am I just want to get home, honestly. It's been a very long night and and I do not want to get a criminal record. I don't want to get anything of the sort. I swear I swear do you have a wallet or a purse or anything you want me to get you? I have been fine until this week. A lot has been going on. A lot has been going on. A female officer arrived to search Giovana and the odds were stacked against her. As she was escorted to jail for paperwork, Giovana desperately tried to talk her way out of it, hoping to change their minds. She must think makes her eyes are very pinpoint. A lot of vertical. You have anything on you that I miss? Because if you go to jail, I will just click to walk home. I'm so sorry, Miss Johnson. I can you just answer that question first? I don't have anything on you. I don't have anything on me. Okay. Um Okay, let's go have a seat real quick. I know. Let's have a seat. Can you put your feet in for me? Officers, can you slide your feet in like right face there? May please just speak to you for two seconds. I'm not a criminal. I'm not anything bad. I I would be happy to let you follow me home. I am Okay, we're past that. Um with your car. I know you're past that. I I know. Would you like us So, we have to figure something out with your car. Slide your slide your feet in. Slide your feet in. Get them buckle in. [Music] Giovana was charged with DUI. Unlike the previous case, this guy was a tough one. While the officers were there to help and resolve the matter, he was one step ahead and turned everything upside down. I didn't want my daughter to see that. No, you you get me dirty. No, we Come on. Come on, D. Stop. I swear to God. Stop. On September 17th, 2023, officers received a call about a man causing a disturbance at an airport after he was denied his flight. So, did anybody get associated or anything like that or almost almost nothing like that? So, basically, he just got verbally uh flaring. Very excited. She's not traveling. She can travel. She likes to put on He's supposed to be traveling. Yes. Okay. What What is his You got his boarding pass, his name? You guys going to let him fly? So, he ain't traveling at home. He's not traveling. His ticket is cancelled. He's not traveling today, tomorrow, whenever. She can board. She can go home, but we'll have to rebook her. She's not getting on this flight. We just need you talk to her. They claim I wasn't here that you got all upset because whatever the situation is, listen. And it got to the point that one of the employees said they smell alcohol. And listen, listen, listen to me. You got to understand that sir right here, sir. And how they shot before I got on the plane because airplanes in here. You're not you they when they say this is a private entity. You understand that? They felt that he's intoxicating and because his behavior, the way he's acting right now, you see, they don't want him to fly because it's dangerous. Okay. So they told him that he has to get another flight. You can fly with the kids. They're not stopping you, but he has to go. So I'm trying to explain that to him and he's like flurring up. Do not put your hands on me. Why can't you just chill? Don't touch these officers. We're from Boston every day. Stop playing these games with me out here. I'm getting really upset. Let's get out this. Not everyone handles things calmly and easily. When the officer asked the man to leave and book another flight, he chose to make a scene instead. Oh my god. I'd rather face a judge. What up? Can I come up? You can come out. Come on. Come on, sir. Just like you said, don't go. Oh my goodness. My daughter. my daughter. Hey, hey, hey, hey. It's over, guys. Alcohol can change people, and this is a prime example of that. Get up. Nope. I'm so done with this. It's stupid. Oh, listen. Come on. Roll over. Thank you. I'm done. On August 17th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a report of a woman causing a disturbance and assaulting a bartender at a local bar. The situation was already chaotic as the woman was so intoxicated that the police were having a hard time dealing with her emotions. All right. So, she's the one you're wanting to leave. Yeah. I'm not I'm not okay. I'm good. I'm good. But you're not good. You're cry. You're sitting on the crying cuz you have the inability to listen to directions. You're an adult. So, let's act like it, okay? Because I'm not going to deal with it. I'm the wrong one to get sitting here with this all summer. I'm not doing it. And then I show up and you call me whatever else. My door guy tried to kick him out and they started splashing them down. They then leave and then one person says, "Hey, they're staying at your rental." I didn't check them in. So, this is her. This is a We thought she was with the rental people. Gotcha. The rental people are two settled take. So, they're two separate issues. And then we had slap the bar. Yeah. We're trying to keep you from going to jail. We're trying to help. Okay. I don't want to go to hell. Then let's bring it down. No, I don't want to go to the hospital. All right. Listen, you're going to run. He's going to run out of patience with you and he's going to wait for cuz I have less than everybody and somehow I'm still holding it. After giving multiple warnings and the woman still refusing to cooperate, things were about to get dramatic as the officer had no choice but to take legal action. Yes, I'm going to the hospital or we are going to pick you up. You are going to be put in handcuffs and you are going to go to jail cuz I'm done. I'm so done dealing with this. You've got more options than anybody else. So, either hospital or we're picking you up and you're going to jail. Which one is it? Okay, but which one is it? Which one? I told you is [Music] it problem is I barely got disorderly on her cuz she's not really being problem. She's just drunk and they don't want anything done with her here. They don't even want to trespass. He just wants to go. He said he never wanted. Oh, nope. Sit down. Sit down. For what? Don't stand up because you can't even sit. You can't even sit right. Well, this is going to be a hard seat for her. No. No, it's not. I got the smallest seat there is. literally. The situation worsened as the officer had to place her in the cruiser and her resistance and actions made it even more difficult. Yeah. Want me to grab both of her lights? How is there a lawsuit? I just need you to quit for the love of God. All you have to do is walk. Stop it. Come on. Ridiculous. Put that on. I got it. I got to get I got to get Stop before you get yourself. I don't want you to bang your head. No, I did. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. Don't want you to hit your head. Stop. This is crazy. You're going to watch this. Listen. this in. Ma'am, come on. Unbuckle that so we can slide her across. Come on. I'm going to left her towards you. Ready? Yep. Stop it. I want her to get cleared by an ambulance. You know what I mean? Cuz if she sits there and back to my cruiser, she's just hammered. I mean, I don't know how much she's drinking. Is she got alcohol poisoning? Jay will figure that out and send her out if we have to. I mean, alcohol poisoning. I don't think it's That's not alcohol poisoning. That's just drunk. Okay, Marissa. I need you to get up. Okay. Come on, man. Get up. Come on, Marissa. Come on, Marissa. We tried. We tried with you. Yeah. Yeah. I tried with you, too. One, two, three. Come on, Marissa. One, two, three. Come on. You're going to hurt yourself, and I'm trying not to hurt your wrist. Come on. Please. Lord, Marissa, grow up. Marissa. [Applause] Marissa 36. Come on, Marissa. Marissa, come on. Are you done throwing a fence? This is We're just trying to get her in here without absolutely destroying her limbs. She's just crying cuz she's she hasn't done anything other than just disorderly. So, we're trying not to take her. Oh, I'm taking her. Is she in cuffs? Yeah, she's in cuffs. We're just trying to drag. We're trying to get her in here. She won't. She's She's She's hefty. We can't get her in mine. We're trying to pull her through. We've almost got her. She's not even all the way in. Hey, grab her something. I'm going to grab her. Marissa, stop it. [Applause] I'll ease the door shut. [Applause] Oh my god. We gave her every opportunity, every chance. She just won't fit in that one. Nice and easy. Nice and easy. Lift your feet up. [Applause] there. You can take her off her like this. Well, we tried to get her in there and it's such a small space she was able to brace. We want to fold her up for that. Yeah, I get it. The woman was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. On February 22nd, 2022, a vehicle was parked in the middle of the road with the driver passed out behind the wheel in Wisconsin. Luckily, an officer noticed and decided to investigate, but something unexpected happened. Thank you so much. Police. Hey Put it in park. 81 dispatch. She just decided to drive away as I was walking up to the car. 101 dispatch. We are at Dovven and Wisconsin A. My lights are on. I'm not in pursuit. She turns southbound on Wisconsin Avenue. Southbound on Wisconsin. She pulled off on the side of the road in front of the uh Dovven Center. Hi. How are you? I'm I'm all right. How are you? I'm good. How are you, Officer Sherstein Police Department? So, I tried to step out with you over there at Case and Doven and I was knocking on your window and you just took off on me. I had my lights on and everything. You remember? No, sir. Okay. Is Is everything okay? Yes, sir. Okay. Do you have an ID on you? Thank you. What are you doing all the way out here from Kentucky? I work here. Oh, you work here? Yes, sir. Where do you work at? Frederick commercial. Okay. What do you do there? Um medical position. that med lab technician. Okay. So why why were you asleep in the middle of the intersection case? Yes, you were very much so. I was knocking on your window and someone someone called cuz they were concerned about you cuz you were exactly your car was still running. Everything was still running. Knocked on your window tried to get you to talk to me and you just drove off and we've been following you ever since. Is that going to be out of Kentucky? Did you just get off at work or something or apologies? No, sir. Okay. What are you doing out driving right now? The officer determined that she was under the influence and due to the bad weather and low visibility, he took her to the precinct for further processing. Can I grab my phone? Yeah. You need anything else? behind your back. Oh, hang on. Hang on. Test. All right. From the sound of it, I think you already know what kind of test. All right. Draw my blood. What? What's up? I'm getting to that. Draw my blood. I'm getting to that. Is there any way I can decline that? Hold on. Let me explain. So, because it's the third offense, it's a misdemeanor. Okay. So, it's you're look you're looking at criminal charges. So, you can either once we're done with the tests, you can either consent to letting your blood be drawn or we get a warrant and we get your blood. It's going to go ahead a lot quicker if you consent, but it's it's up to you. But we can we can deal with that once we're done doing the tests. Okay. Okay. Step out right over here. The camera's in here. Okay. All right. We're going to go to the front of the car. I'll take those cuffs off. Okay. Right over here. If I don't, you can let go of your hand. What's up? If I don't consent, then what? Then we get a search warrant and we get your blood. It's to be completely frank with you, we're we're getting it one way or the other. It's just how difficult you want to make it. You're getting my blood one way or the other or getting my consent one way or the other? Getting getting your blood because we we'd get a search warrant. Either way, you're getting my blood. Yes. All right. Well, I do not want to consent to the what is it the what is it called? I I can't help you out with that. You you have to tell me what I don't consent to what the blood draw. I don't consent to the or doing these tests. Yeah. The tests. Okay. So, you were failing refusing to do the SFSTs, the standard sobriety test. I'm refusing to the sobriety test. Okay. Um, just so you know, if you don't do that, your your license will get revoked. Do you know what that entails? So, yes, that's Do you want me to explain it to you? Yes, please. Okay. So, right now what you're looking at is if if you do the the driving test, you're Hey, so she's refusing to do the tests. So, we can still just take her into the hospital, she she'll consent to a blood draw, and if not, then we get a warrant. Right. After the officer explained everything, the woman took some tests to check her condition and see what was really going on. Yep. I'm just going to read you the directions. Your hands at your side, just like this. All right. Very important. All right. I'm going to check your eyes. Okay. So, what you're going to do, you're going to follow my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay? Don't move any other part of your body. Okay? Do you understand? Yes, sir. Okay? All right. For the next one, you see this line right here? Yes, sir. All right. So, what I want you to do, I want you to put both your feet right at this cross right here. And then stand hands together at your side. My feet are on the wrong My shoes are on the wrong feet, but Okay. Okay. So, you see that line, right? What I want you to do, I want you to put your left foot on the line this way. I'm sorry. like this. Just put it right there. Yep. And then take your right foot, put it right in front, touching heel to toe. All right. So, when I say go and not beforehand, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps. That's going to look like this. Counting out loud. One, two, three, all the way up to nine. Once you get to nine, you're going to take a few short steps. Then turn around and do another nine steps. One, two, three, all the way up to nine. All right, one more test. All right, so once again, same feet together, hand to your sides. All right. When I say go, you're going to take one of your feet, doesn't matter which one, raise it about 6 in off the ground, just like this, and point your toes. Okay? Then, while looking down at your toes and keeping your hands at your side, you're going to count out loud. 1 1,00 2 100 3 100 until I tell you to stop. Do you understand? Okay. Ready? Go. 1 1,000 2 100 3 100 So now So we're done with the deaths. Okay. So now about the blood draw. What would you like to do? This whole thing will be a lot quicker if you do consent to have your blood drawn, but it's still your choice. So what happens if I don't? So we're going to get we're going to type up a search warrant for your blood. Okay. get it signed by a judge and then we will get the blood even if we have to hold you down for it. I don't I really don't want to have to do that but we will. I mean I don't want to get it held down but people are not supposed to do that. But that's that's the point of the search warrant because we are we will be getting it. That's what I'm saying though. Like if you do consent we don't have to go through all that. You just walk in. It's fine. Okay. Let's go. Dakota. Can you grab the paperwork? I I won't even put you on cuff. No. No. We're at ascension and receipt. The officer then read her rights for questioning and completed the paperwork to wrap up the case. Before we ask you any questions, you must understand your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer before questioning and to have the lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer and want one, a lawyer will be appointed for you without charge prior to any questioning. If you decide to start answering questions at this time, you can stop any time during the questioning. Do you understand? Yes. Are you willing to give a statement? Yes. Okay. All right. So, first question. Were you operating a motor vehicle? Yes. Okay. I know the questions are really dumb, but I I just got to ask them. What street or highway were you on? I don't know. Okay. I'm not from here. I don't Okay. No, that's fine. Officer is okay if I draw from left. Yep. Go for it. All right. Just have a few more questions. Okay. All right. So, where were you going this morning? Home. Did you say home? Yes. Okay. What is today's date? Um, today is the 22nd. Good. You're right. Surprise. Where were you coming from? Um, I was coming from a friend's house. Whose address? I don't know. Okay, that's fine. Do you know what time it is? Uh, maybe around 3:00 a.m., maybe 2:30. What is the actual time? It is 5:30. When did you last sleep? I woke up at maybe 2 2 p.m. Have you taken any prescription medication/d drugs in the last 24 hours? No. So, from the time you last operated a motor vehicle, have you been drinking or using drugs? It's a dumb question. Okay. Yeah. Right. Right. It's a really stupid question. Are you under the influence of alcohol or drugs at this time? Answer that for me. I I just need a yes or no. Like I said, dumb question. I don't want to say no. That's fine. I'll put down no. Were you involved in a crash today? No. It's disgusting. Yeah. All right, that's it for the questions. So, I guess Kyle put all of her things in in a brown bag in New York. Okay. And I still have that. All right. Once this door closes, I'll take those stuffs off. Okay. [Music] I have to put this on your ankle here. It's the jail rules. Only if I sit. The woman was charged with OWI and fleeing. Thanks for watching. If you enjoyed the video, go ahead and hit that like button and subscribe for more exciting videos. See you in the next one.
