I need to call Bigfoot right now. >> Stop. >> You're not free to go either right now. You understand? >> I have that in my private officer I work with. >> Jason continued to act unsure when asked if he had needles or drugs on him. Despite his uncertainty, a search revealed exactly what they suspected. Soon after, officers spoke with a nearby woman to uncover her connection to Jason. >> Okay. What do you got in here? I'm not getting I don't want to get poked. I don't want anything. You hear me? >> I don't know. >> What do you have in there? >> I just grab I doubt that. I'll stand by with you. >> Thank you. >> I'm sorry. >> Huh? I'm sorry about >> Okay. Well, you know this I'm going to ask you straight up cuz you're with him and stuff. So, now we're at a stage of reasonable suspicion stuff, right? And the location came from. >> Is there anything that you have or someone may have put in your bag or something? Don't touch anything. Don't just do it. I'm just asking you up front. >> The deputy continued engaging with the woman, hoping to learn more about Jason. Meanwhile, another cop examined the drugs to determine exactly what they were dealing with. >> Look at me first thing. Did you just use recently? >> No, I'm really nervous right now. Okay. Because >> Let me see your eyes. >> I'm going to um call up the channel. >> Okay. >> Obviously running away from me deal >> cuz you're found with him. >> I No, I understand. I understand. Okay. >> Okay. >> Now, watch you guys. You're sitting there on his lookout. You'd grab his bike when he went up into places. Okay. That's that's the deal. Okay. You were sitting there watching out as he went in up into people's places. I don't know what he stole. I don't know what he took. Has he got anything? >> You can see how cops questioned the woman about Jason, trying to uncover his dark secret and the reason behind it. But what do you think? Was she honest or hiding something far more sinister >> in the alley here doing this? >> I want you guys from right over here. Yes, ma'am. >> Right behind the limousine and walk straight down there. >> What he's trying to get to walking. >> All right. Awesome. Thank you very much. >> We take the dump. You know what it is. >> And you're part of this now. >> So the best thing you can do is help yourself now. >> Huh? >> I can't I don't know what you're what exactly you're looking for from me. >> I just want the truth. >> That's all. Cuz right now he's in a world you're with him. >> You know, if you're going on to people's properties looking at stuff, you say dumpsters. >> Yes. I haven't seen one of these in years. >> I know. I just bought one. >> I can't believe that. >> And you're looking in people's property, right? And you have these specific tools. >> I live in the downstairs. >> Then why is he carrying those tools? Those tools are for one purpose. >> Hey, is your name Paul? >> Uhoh. Okay. >> You got you got to help yourself. I'm telling you. >> We're only checking these names. You got to stop with that, man. There you go. in the bag. Could this be the bag? >> Jason was charged with possession of meth, fentinyl, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools. Watch how this reckless woman turned a simple traffic stop into her entire family's downfall. It all came to light on May 19th, 2024 when officers responded to a hit and run only to end up busting a family's massive drug operation. >> Someone called us and said you hit their car and I see some damage on your vehicle. >> So, did you just hit another car? Then came the real twist during the arrest when they discovered she was hiding something. Get out. Get out. Tell her she's under alcohol. We'll get your dog. Don't worry. >> Oh, hey. Hey, my dog. The woman was tough with the cops while they searched her, but soon her hidden items were exposed right before their eyes. After that, they placed her in the cruiser. >> It's in your car. >> I told you that in her underwear. >> Stop. Get your hands out of your pocket or I'm going to squeeze your hand. Stop. There was a glass on my left. >> I know. >> What does that mean? An empty glass in my left. >> How's it going? Sorry to anybody's being a maniac. >> Yeah. >> You know, did you guys just drive down that way and then you came back this way? >> Yeah. You went by Tom's. You guys saw me over there. Okay. >> Listen, I apologize. I didn't mean to. >> You don't got to apologize to me. I'm more pissed off that you're >> not coherent enough to drive your vehicle car. >> I am pissed. I drive my vehicle to my house. Yes, sir. I am. >> So, tell me why you're would say yeah drunk and he was just driving really fast up and down this road and told him to stop. >> You think an 8-year-old make that up? >> He's a child. >> He's going to say what he says. >> So, he So, he shouldn't even know what drunk is, right? >> He's a child, >> dude. Look at here, man. Dude, look what you're being You're being oblivious. >> I am. You have car. I'm a father. I would never >> My home is right here. >> So, is that just make it okay that you should just get to go home because you're drunk? >> Look, I'm not doing nothing to to to put my life in danger. >> You are because they're in the vehicle. And then you about put my life in danger when you almost hit me, >> sir. No, I did not almost hit you. No, sir. I did not almost hit you. >> I don't know what to tell you. >> I did not almost hit you. No, sir. You're being honestly ridiculous right now. You really are. >> I don't really care what you think. To be honest with you. I'm telling you what happened. >> So >> I apologize if you think that I did. >> I don't think that it happened. I'm telling you it did. >> I did not. No sir. >> I don't got to argue with you. So >> it did. It did happen. You can be in denial all you want. It about happened. So listen you think that argue with you. I'm not >> Well, you're telling me I'm wrong. So that's question of my integrity. I'm telling you. >> Okay. What the you say, bud? Look arguing with you, man. I'm not >> I'm not arguing with you, man. Not. >> But I apologize if you think I did. I'm sorry, but I did not. No, sir. Just watch the glass. >> Shortly after, his wife arrived at the scene where cops warned her about the dangers her husband's reckless driving posed to their children. Meanwhile, another officer noticed the father's slurred speech, raising red flags that led to urgent tests. >> You're good. You said you guys live right there. >> Yes. >> Yeah. So, he about hit me over there on the side of the road um going off the road on Cooper going that way. Um while I was dealing with three other people >> and then they were like, "You're not you're gonna keep messing with us and not go stop that guy the way he's driving." Well, then I was trying to finish with them and then he went through the neighborhood over there, came back out at Mary, blew the stop sign, spinning tires, doing like 70 both ways. >> Exactly. >> So, not only did he almost kill me, he's also risking >> driving recklessly with the kids. >> Uh this fell out of his lap, so I'm assuming that probably came from Ryan's if that's where you guys came from. Um >> okay. Glass. I wasn't sure, but yeah. >> Yeah, it was in his fell out of his lap. So, once we're done with him, then they can go with Does he normally piss his pants? >> Is that normal for him? >> He doesn't. >> Okay. But Okay. >> But not cuz he's awake and coherent. No. >> What's your name? >> Mason. >> Mason. All right. So, >> my deputy just told me he observed you [clears throat] >> your traffic down here. Okay. >> Unfortunately. Yes, sir. So after he made contact with you, obviously I'm seeing it, too. I'm selling, you know, slur speech. You're leaning up against his vehicle. I really hope >> you didn't get yourself. >> No, sir. That's drink. >> Drink. >> There's a glass over there. >> What kind of drink was it? >> Just water. >> Just water on the back. >> Yes, sir. >> Where did you Where are you guys coming from? >> Uh, it came from Ryan's >> Ryan off of Duncan Road there. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. All right. I don't know if there's one here in the downtown. >> No, sir. No, sir. Brian. >> Okay. All right. So, based on his observations, my observations on me speaking to you, I'm just going to run you through field. Okay. All it is is that something make sure that you're able to operate the vehicle. Doesn't mean that you're in any trouble at all. >> I don't want to to do a field test or don't. I live right here. I don't care to. So, like I said, my house is right here street behind your license. It's in front of your license. All right. That >> Why am I going to jail? Because I look right here. >> Let me speak to you. So based on my observations, his observations. >> I'm not being anal or not. >> I know. >> Well, you asked, so I'm explaining it to you, right? I hope I'm not being an or anything. >> No, you're not being that explain it to you. So the way that >> that works is >> what do I need to do to >> dispel my fear that you're not intoxicated is run us through field sobriety. That's it. >> Okay. >> That's all it is. It's either you do it or you don't. >> All right. Just like how it says on I I'll show you my license. Let's see what you see. I am right here in my house, man. >> I get it, man. >> Right here. Can you read over there at the bottom? >> I'm not being [ __ ] >> Motor vehicle constitutes sense of any sobriety test required by law. Okay. So, that's all it is. Just based on my observations. I'm not accusing you of anything. It's just based on my observations. I just need to dispel my fear that you're able to operate. >> What do you want me to do? >> I will you consent to run through. >> Can you run me through what you want me to do? >> I can I can do it through without me consenting. Let me know what you want me to do. >> You don't. All right. Whatever. >> So, you're want to do them, it's yes or no. >> What do you want me to do? I want to know what you want me to do. >> So, you see the tip of my pen here. All right. With that tip of your pen, do you mind touching with the tip of your finger? Like that. >> Perfect. >> Why you shaking? >> Yeah. I don't know why. >> Why are you shaking so bad? >> Probably too much caffeine. >> I can't. What's going on? >> There you go. >> Okay. Oh, >> you got it. I know. That was >> Whoa, bro. Whoa. Just Can somebody else hold the pin? >> No, I just have drank too much caffeine. Okay. Well, you see what it is, right? You touched it. Well, I'm just saying you're like this, right? >> Do you see the tip of my pen? >> I do. Okay. But can can I record this or no? >> It's all recording. >> It's all recorded on camera. >> I mean, your pen is doing this right here. >> It's pretty straight. >> Okay. It's pretty straight. >> Yeah, it's straight. >> Okay. Yes, sir. >> You touched it. You touched it. You're good. Put your hand down. Okay. >> So, the tip of the pen that you just touched with your tip of your finger, you're going to fall in with your eyes and your eyes open. Okay. Do not move your head. >> Good. >> Do you understand? >> Good. >> Do you mind taking your hand out? During the tests, the father threw tantrums, acting as if he didn't take the situation seriously, ignoring the process entirely. His behavior pushed the cops to act decisively. >> You're shaking a lot. >> You want to follow it with your eye? >> You're shaking what? >> What does that mean? What are you following? >> You're shaking a lot. >> Can you follow it? >> I'm following it. What do you mean? >> I'm saying, are you doing it? >> I'm doing Am I Am I doing it? >> Can you just stop? >> Am I doing it or no? >> Can you stop talking and do it? >> I'm doing it. I'm doing it. Right. Just follow it. >> Go ahead. >> Follow it. >> Do you feel comfortable walking in those? >> No, I don't. >> Do you mind taking them off? >> No, sir. >> Yeah, >> I'm not walking in a straight line. There's no straight line here. There's no line here in the road. No, >> there's no straight line. >> You can't imagine a straight line or anything? >> Nope. I can't imagine. >> You know what we can do? There is a straight line and walk over here. >> I'm not doing it. >> If you're not, then just put your hands behind your back. >> No, sir. What? >> Put your hands behind your back. Why are you You're not going to say no to me when I tell you to put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not releasing, sir. >> Then don't say no. And don't push off. >> I'm not pushing you, sir. >> I'm not I'm not being a buttthead, dude. Look. Why am I being >> I will do what you want me to do. >> No, you're too late for that. You're You're being No, you're too late. >> Wow. Okay. I'm sorry. >> Check that buckle. What is >> Why the am I being arrested, man? >> I don't know why. >> Okay. Thank you for all this. >> All right. So, >> based on that, your husband's under arrest for DUI. Okay. Just so you know, it's an enhancement as well because there's children under the age of 18 in the vehicle and due to his actions and my observation, DCF will be called on that. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Oh, no. He will. >> He will. >> So, I So, based on what my off my deputy here said, obviously the speeding. >> So, we have them. We pulled him over. We made contact with him. >> I smell the alcohol in him in his in his breath. All right. They don't just serve glass to go on glass like that. >> Absolutely not. >> Okay. So, based on all that, I never accused him of anything. I don't know if you could hear the conversation that I was having. So, all we did there was try to run him through field sobriety just to dispel our fears that he's able to operate the motor vehicle. He's not impaired in any sort. Okay. That's all it was. >> So, I showed him my driver's license. Your driver's license says it as well. Under your address, it says that perfor you have to do field sobriety. >> Mhm. >> I explained that to him. That kind of changed his mind cuz he said no. just of him saying no once, I could have automatically taken him to jail. But I wanted to give him every opportunity to do it just to dispel my fears because like I said, I didn't want to accuse him of anything, right? Cuz you can drink. The issue comes now where you you're unable to operate the motor vehicle. The speeding down a school zone. I don't know if you can see this. It's not It's not an active school zone, but there's still children playing. I know there's baseball to practice today on Thursdays. You know what I'm talking about. >> Giving the area here it's unacceptable. comes out, >> right? So, I do it here. He starts saying, "Oh, you're shaking. You're moving. You're all this." All he has to do, it doesn't matter if I'm shaking. All he has to do is just follow my my pen. He didn't want to he didn't wasn't want to doing it. He couldn't follow it. His eyes were like this. >> Mhm. >> All right. Which shows that his impairment level is is pretty high. Then I tried to do him to walk in just to do a walk and turn. At that time, like I said, never accuse him of anything. He's like, "Oh, I'm not doing it. I'm not." All I ask him, "Do you feel comfortable in the shoes that you're wearing? If you don't, take them off. just to do this. Oh, there's not a straight line here. I can't do it. Okay, well, we'll move over there where there's a straight line. No, I don't want to do it. So, I'm like, "Okay, you don't want to do it. Then you're going to jail." He obviously wanted to push away. Didn't want to turn around for me. Then that's where we're at. Okay. Obviously, I did not want it to go that way cuz there's children. They're not 3 years old. So, they're going to remember this for their whole life. That's not why we do our things, right? I'm sure this is probably the first interaction they've had with the with with law enforcement. Has it been? >> No. >> Okay. Well, I thought so. Obviously, I didn't want this to be their first one, right? Without them understanding. >> This is not They know exactly what's going on. Well, my oldest that was. Yeah. >> So, I'm gonna I'm just gonna ask you, >> was he drinking at was what was in that in that? >> Oh, absolutely. It was um Jack and Coke is what he was. >> I could I could smell >> He's been drinking since 1:00 today. >> Since 1:00. >> Yes. >> Okay. The man was charged with DUI, child endangerment, resisting arrest, and firearm possession. If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like and drop a comment below.
