All right. Hello. Hello. Gotta give YouTube a little little second to let my people come in. So, if you're in the replay gang gang, just give me just a second. Um, hey to all my people in the library, aka the bushes. All right. So, I found a Tik Tok account that uses real body cam audio and then they put it to a little cartoon. So, I'm I think I hit follow, but I have one for us. And if you've been a longtime uh person with body cams, you might even recognize this audio, but Oh, let me show you how they do it. Let me see here. Where is it? Here we go. Okay. So, this is just to let people come in. So, we're gonna get some time going real fast and then we'll start the first body cam. She's been in the shower since 4:00 this morning. She doesn't have a membership and I told her security was outside earlier and she told me police coming in. >> Ma'am, go ahead and get dressed for us, please, so we can get you out here. Sure. >> Ma'am, are you getting dressed? If you do not get ready to leave, you're going to be placed under arrest for trespassing. Okay. Are you having a medical emergency or anything? Are you okay, >> ma'am? You're being placed under arrest for trespassing. Okay, we're going to be going in and grabbing you. Okay. >> Okay. >> You're under arrest. >> I'm going to finish rinsing. >> You're under arrest. >> Okay. Do not I am not trespassing. I paid to be here. >> Let go of me now. >> You're under arrest. >> I am naked as >> I know you are. So, ARE YOU LEAVING CLOTHES ON? >> ABSOLUTELY. DON'T. >> NOW, I have been here for 15 minutes and I paid to be here. So that's not in dispute right now. What's in dispute is you getting dressed. >> EXCUSE YOU. I AM LAW ENFORCEMENT. I WILL HAVE YOUR BACK. >> OKAY. Put some clothes ON NOW. I SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR OFFICERS out now. >> No more discussion. Please put some clothes on. This doesn't have to be any more embarrassing for all of us. >> You're going to be the one embarrassed. All three of you. Chief of police. You know who that is? I have your badge. DID YOU HEAR THAT? >> YES. YOU KNOW WHAT? Maybe you're under arrest for trespassing. >> If you walk me out, naked. >> No one's going to do that. >> You just put your hands all over ME BECAUSE I GRABBED MY CLOTHES. >> WELL, NO, cuz you assaulted me. >> I am law enforcement. >> Okay. You just snatched me up at >> Yeah, I did. You will be arrested for sexual harassment. I will have all of your back. >> Okay, if you have not seen audio is a real Planet Fitness body cam uh or video, it's a real Planet Fitness body cam. We watched it together, I'm pretty sure. Okay, so we are Sergeant Curtis all day. If you are new to me, I talk. This a reaction, but I don't have any planned charges analysis this time. We're just going to That's why I don't know how long it's going to stay up because I don't have as much commentary probably. So, we're just going to watch it. We're just enjoying ourselves this evening. I ain't got or this afternoon. And we're going to keep it moving. Hopefully, I'll have some stuff ready for Sunday morning where we get back into our charges analysis. But I am so relaxed today. All right, here we go. Oh, the first one is angry tough guy picks fight with cops then starts crying. Hold on. I got to turn the audio back on. There it goes. >> Do not let your finger off. >> Get on THE GROUND RIGHT NOW. >> FEAR SHOULD be a real thing in your life right now. >> I don't have anybody to get. >> In policing, it's almost guaranteed that during your shift you're likely going to be threatened and you may also get challenged. And many times those threats and challenges are idle and you can deescalate them verbally. But sometimes a person takes that threat to a point where it is about to get physical and then you might find yourself facing off against the taser and several officers responding to take the person into custody. This is one of those >> hang tight up there. >> If you haven't subscribed to the channel, please make sure you click on the get push. >> What's going on? >> The original video says that a person was revving their motorcycle and looked like they might be impaired and so the officer went to do a welfare check on the person. Okay. Why are you sitting here revving your engine back and forth going in the middle of the road? >> I didn't go in the middle of the road. I pulled the road and I turned around. That's it. >> Okay. I watch you sitting here falling over on the bike trying to get it across the road. >> Hotter than I don't have shoes on, man. >> You have an ID on you? >> I don't know. >> You have no idea. Do you have any what? Don't reach in your pockets. Do you have any onap? >> You mind if I patch you down real quick? Make sure you face that way for me. Keep your hands up and up your head for me. >> Thanks, sir. Is this your bite? I got you. Where you from? Hey, step over here. >> You're out of traffic. >> Huh? >> Minnesota. >> Minnesota. Okay. >> I like it. The officer is respectful, tactically conducts his pat down. You know, I'm very, very big on the pat downs. Do them methodical and make sure that they're done. >> Down here on vacation or what's going on? >> Nope. >> What's down here? >> A place down here, too? >> Oh, you own a place down here. Okay. So, what's going on with you revving your bike? >> I can't, dude. I have pipes. That's the point. >> Okay, but here's the thing. You're down here on the side of the road sitting there screaming, revving your pipes. Stop people in traffic. No. >> Then you're coming across the road trying to walk across the road. >> Okay. But then you're trying to walk across road with a bike. >> No, I wasn't. >> You were. >> What do you want to do? Fly across the road? >> No, but you can't be sitting there going. >> You have no ID on you. >> Hang tight right here for me. >> Stay tight right here for me. Okay, I'm hang right here for me. >> I understand that. Right there. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, this is interesting cuz now the guy says, "I'll stand where I want." This is a test here. I'll stand where I want. And it looks like he's walking away. The question that an officer must ask themselves in this situation is, "How far do I want to escalate this situation knowing that this might have to go hands-on?" It's just a question you have to ask and then act upon whatever decision it is that you come to. >> Hey, >> are you going to arrest me? >> No, I'm having Get over here. >> Get over here, dude. >> No, I'm trying to make sure you're okay. Now, stand over here. >> My sit on right here. >> No, right here. >> I'm going right here. >> Okay, I don't care. You're going to sit right here. >> What do you want me to do? >> You're going to sit right here. >> Zero sale right now. >> You're going to sit right here. >> I'm not going to sit right there at all. I'm going to sit >> No, you're not. You're going to sanctify right here. You're not detained. >> 124. Can you send me another unit? >> Let me go. >> Arrest me. Let me go. Arrest me >> over here. >> Arrest me or I'm going to go this way. >> No. Over here. >> You cannot tell me. >> You are not free to leave. You understand that? >> Arrest me. >> You are not free to leave. >> Arrest me over here. >> Nope. I'm going to go that way. >> You're not going to go that way. >> Can I put me to the ground then? >> No. I'm going to have you sit over here. I'm trying to be cordial with you. >> I'm trying to be cordial with you. >> No, you're not. Are you going to touch me? >> Yes. I will put hands on you. Okay. Why? >> Because you are being detained. Because you're Okay. Listen to me. >> Shut your mouth. >> Listen to me. That be the dumbest thing you ever do. Listen to me. I'm not going to >> So y'all telling me You telling me he doing all this and then he going to cry later. It's always these. It's always them. I I just I'm waiting to see why he cries. How far this is going to go. His chest is getting on my nerves. Just want to put that out there as well. >> Argue with you. Don't do not get in my face. >> I'm not in your face. Get your finger out of my face. Bite your finger off. No, no, you're not. Listen, >> I will bite your finger off of your hand. >> Okay, calm down. Let me talk of my face. >> No, let me talk to you out of my >> Get on the ground. >> I'm not doing that. >> GET ON THE GROUND RIGHT NOW. >> HANDS ON THE GROUND FOR WHAT? >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> WEAPON. >> I have no weapon. >> 124. Give me traffic. >> You already checked. I HAVE NO >> GET ON THE GROUND RIGHT NOW. PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. >> THERE YOU GO, BUD. Get on the ground. Are we actually going to use the Edison medicine or is it just coming out to get him to do right? But he might he might get the he might actually get it because if he's about to cry. Maybe that's why I I haven't watched I don't think I've watched any of these we're about to watch today ahead of time. So I have no clue. But Tas will make me cry. Right now you will get tased. GET ON THE GROUND. >> PUT YOUR FACE ON THE GROUND. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? >> Get on the ground. GET ON THE GROUND. >> What the? >> FACE DOWN. THERE YOU GO, BUD. >> Put your hands behind your back. You will get tased. >> What am I getting arrested? >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> WHAT ARE YOU? >> YOU ARE BEING DETAINED. PUT YOUR hands behind your back. >> What? Dude, don't. I have a back elbow. >> Okay. Put your other hand behind your back right now, dude. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Dude, why are you doing this? >> Bro, I >> I told you to stop. >> I did. You approached me, dude. Ow. Please, man. Hey, I got a bad elbow. You see the scar? Why are you doing this? Really? 124. One detained. >> For what? For what? >> Cuz you're not listening to me. >> I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN. >> I TOLD YOU YOU WERE DETAINED. SO, I FEEL PULLING ON YOU WALKING IN TRAFFIC. >> YOU SAID NO. >> I SAID YOU WERE DETAINED. >> Go get your pass, please. >> In custody. Excellent sequence. Lots to learn from a legal perspective and from a tactical perspective. I'm going to address the tactical stuff first. Okay. Throughout the stop, we see the focus was maintained on controlling this guy from the very beginning, from the pat down, where he wanted the guy to stand. And it seems like he had him at first, but the guy started to do his own thing. You could see it start to unfold that it went from some control to very little control. Now, I want to talk about something called sizing up. Sizing up is prior to or during an interaction or a confrontation. There's some things that a person does. Can I take this person? Can I intimidate this person? Can I impose my will on this person? And that is what this guy was doing to the officer the entire time. Those were little microaggressions that you saw. And some were just straight up aggressions that you saw like I'm going to go where I want. I can stand over here and then taking steps away and to see how far they can go. Now remember, police have policies. You can't just go and just jump on the guy's back and throw a chokeold on them. You have to utilize all the tools that you have, but people will test you. The statement I'm going to stand where I want was the most overt statement of I realize that I am going to do what I want and I don't believe that you can stop me. You're going to have to show me. And the taser became the great equalizer. when he saw the taser come out, he realized that it was now swayed in the officer's favor and he didn't want to have to go through that 5-second ride because he likely knows that it's painful. Now, I want to talk about some specifics that I noticed. Now, you've heard me talk about training with your tools where you should be able to close your eyes and go for all your tools. Now, if you notice the officer, we can see the officer's line of sight because his head doesn't go down. The officer draws his taser without putting his head down, eyes still on the subject and then he has the taser pointed at the subject. And you also notice that the officer took a step back, created some distance so that you'll have a spread so that the taser can be more effective. When I see these tactical movements that just become second nature to an officer, I know this is an officer that trains. And it's very, very good to see those kinds of things. Now, let's talk about the legal side of this because there's a legal side. Every time that we interact with a person, it has to be, are we investigating a crime? What's the crime? We can't just go around asking people, I want your ID. I want you to do this. I want you to do that. So, what's the crime? So, the officer had, they were reporting that this guy looked like he was impaired. He was with a motorcycle and he's revving the engine. I don't know if the revving the engine is a crime, but definitely being impaired on a motorcycle is a crime. And the officer was well within his rights to continue to conduct his investigation. So, asking the subject to stay where he needed him to stay while he conducted an investigation, well within his rights tactically and within the legal rights. Get me the out of this dirt, dude. Get me up. >> You can sit down right here. >> Don't touch me. >> Yeah, I will put hands on you. >> Okay, you're and I'll break your neck. >> Okay, keep talking. >> Okay, I will break your neck. >> Keep talking, >> sir. I will defame. You're detained. >> Okay, for what? >> You're detained BECAUSE YOU'RE REVVING TRAFFIC. >> DID I DO ANYTHING WRONG? CALL THE COPS. PLEASE, MAN. I didn't You saw this all. Please stand up. Dude, I got to I'll stand up on my own. Get off me. I'll stand up. I have a up I'm surgically repaired dude elbow that one you're >> always have the injuries coming out when you don't have to be detained they just want didn't they just want him to maybe leave or whatever like this why am I being arrested stuff you didn't listen you telling the cop where he need to go you don't comply that you know why you're arrested but also I saw Ace put in there that he uh somebody I don't know if the thing said he was drunk or just noticed he was drunk but of course of course but every time it's the same thing. And I don't understand this cognitive dissonance with why you're being arrested. He is very annoying. Tango Aku Udo member for four months. Hey, happy four. Yeah, happy four month anniversary. Okay, you'll be in the bushes aka library. All right. All right. And from the library, she gifted a trendy membership, which means now I owe one. Um, but let me see who got it. Congratulations, though. Thank you, Akuo. I appreciate it. >> GRAB IT. AND THAT SHOULDER HAND THAT ANKLE AND THIS KNEE AND THAT FOOT. >> QUIT ARGUING. >> I What are you doing to me? You better quit, man. >> I'm telling you right now, >> bro. You come get this mother off me, bro. >> All right. So, he I'm on >> traffic stop. Be quiet. Be quiet. >> I didn't do anything wrong. Stop. He's on the side of the road just revving his bike motor. >> Oh my god, dude. Get the off saying, "Hey, he's drunk. He's tipping over." >> I'm sober as I don't even drink. >> He's tipping over the bike. >> No, my bike's done. I don't have shoes on, dude. Get this [ __ ] pop. Get a cage. >> Get a cage. >> Get the No, I do >> dude. Hey, I'm suing the out of this guy. So, I go to get out. >> I'm suing the guy on his mouth. >> I know. He Oh my god. >> I told him to stop. >> I said I'll bite your finger off your put in my face, mother. >> We still going with this. Okay. Oh my gosh. Oh, you biting my bite his finger. Okay. Use use mfer. You sound really tough. Good job, guy. >> I'm a warrior walking away from me. >> Take me these and >> Yeah. What is that? >> Get him on the ground away from me, sir. >> Okay. >> He's been threatening me and my wife. >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Get the Get him ID. >> I don't have a weapon. Huh? He threaten to tase me. >> OKAY. >> HE TRIED TO TASE ME, DUDE. Are you >> Oh, snap. Congratulations. Texas Canon came in here with a question and then got a membership. Shout out to you. Oh, I love it. I love it. I love it. Um, I got to do mine next hopefully. Well, we'll see where it goes. I don't want to say because I love my library people, too. I do. I just don't We don't know each other, but it's safer to be in the library. So, I don't blame y'all for not, you know, coming out here cuz it's wild in these internet streets. >> Serious. >> Chill out, >> bro. What the I'm sitting on the gun and puss. >> What's your name? >> Okay. ID said I have an ID hang right here. >> I just was walking to get a water, man. I can't walk. I'm cool here. That's a [ __ ] >> brother. We'll settle this here in just a minute. Okay. >> This kid's not going to have a job as soon as I stand up. Please give me these just relax. No, please, man. I'm not here. Please get me out of the cuff. >> One moment. Just Just stay with me. I'll just real quick. >> Give me one second, sir. All right. >> Essentially, yeah. >> Sit down. >> Please. I'm not touching me, dude. Sit down. I didn't >> just sit down and chill. >> Kneel here, please. More comfortable. Fine. >> That's fine. Keep touching the floor, dude. >> All right. Relax. All right. [ __ ] just keep touching. >> Okay. Well, he's not a kid. He's a grown ass man. >> He's a kid. Okay. >> No, he's a grown He's a grown man. Okay. >> He's still got mama's [ __ ] behind his ears. >> Okay. Look at >> All right. Stand him up. We'll secure him over there. All right. >> He couldn't even get it out. Ain't it supposed to be like my mother's milk behind his ears or something? He couldn't even get it out. I'm tired of him. Who sent this? He's annoying. [laughter] >> Fine, man. >> Young aspiring officers, guaranteed this is going to happen to you when you look young. I've seen this so many times. I'm a field training officer with my young trainee or new officer. They're 22 years old. They look super young. And while we're interacting with people, they would almost always turn to me and talk to me and ignore them. It got to a point that I learned that if I wanted my new officer to get experience that I would have to step away and be within eye and earshot but so that the person would naturally have to talk to the young aspiring officers. Young aspiring officers don't take offense to it. Appreciate and embrace the fact that you look young. But if you're technically and tactically proficient, it will make up that gap for the fact that you look young. And a lot of people may try to take advantage of that. >> Why am I going to a dude? Why is this kid touching me, bro? I have a walk. >> Why is this kid touching me? Sir, >> sorry. I didn't do I Hey, I'm surgically repaired, boys. Please tell us back the f back off my shoulder. >> Wow. Why is this kid touching me? Can I put my shoes on there? My bike. >> He already me down. >> We're doing it again. >> Okay, go ahead, bro. Please help. >> Oh, can we handcuff his mouth? Can we do that? Um, yeah. Public nuisance, I'm pretty sure, is a charge. DTB disturbing the PE. I mean, I said DTB. Lord, don't mind me. DTP disturbing the peace. We got plenty to choose from. Yeah. Ain't that what it was, Kim? Aren't you supposed to say milk behind the ears? Yeah, it does look like a nice area. That's why he got to go. He messing up the area. Texas can >> face that way. >> Please help me with the situation, please. Guys, >> put your chest right there. >> Okay, sir. I I will gladly put my chest on the scars and stripes, sir. >> Thanks, sir. >> Oh, my You just broke my board. Oh, you're bull. You can't have it anyways. >> Doesn't matter. You can't have it in public. We're going to do it again. >> Lovable, you have a way of sending me the things. Oh my gosh. I should have known it was you. I'm telling you, every It's almost always you or why is the name escaping me right now? It's my other one that always does it. She is not in here this morning. That's why it's not coming to my brain. But it's it's you and your partner in crime. Uh let me see. Tango said, "If I really didn't want my shuttle to get hurt, I certainly wouldn't be causing problems with a cop." Right. Right. You got Cuz it [clears throat] starts with you being a nuisance. There's no cops on the scene, but you don't know how to conduct yourself. They finally engage the cops to come get you. You don't know how to talk to them. This is all on you. Your elbow scar with your elbow injury, your shoulder, whatever you got going on. This is all on you. And this reminds me of that lady that she was like diabetic, but she didn't have to be arrested. She kept basically insisting upon being arrested. And now we got to deal with your diabetes in jail. >> Again, he said, "We already search." Well, no, we're going to do it again. Best practice, trust, but verify. When you take someone else's prisoner, you always must research them. When you place a prisoner inside of the car, you search them. When you take them out of the car from someone else, you can search them and check the vehicle to make sure nothing was left inside the vehicle. That is not going to hurt you in any way, but missing something will definitely hurt you. Trust, but verify. >> Okay. You can't smoke in public. >> I wasn't smoking. >> Sit down. I wasn't smoking. >> Sit down. >> Put your feet in the car. What am I being? >> Put your feet in the car. Put your feet in the car. You're going to tow another charge. Put your feet in the car. We'll talk to you in just a minute. Listen, I just pulled up. Did you see me pull up? Put your feet in the car. Put your feet in the car. I'm going to drag you out. >> Put your feet in the car. We're going to get up. Put your feet in the car. >> I barely fit. >> Put your feet in the car. I can't help it. >> Stand there. Please. I'm not even arrested. >> Put your feet in the car. >> You need to read my rights at all. Why am I >> We don't have to READ YOU YOUR RIGHTS. PUT YOUR FEET IN THE CAR in the car. You do, sir. >> Put your feet in the car. Drag them over there, man. Please, man. Please. I didn't put in the car. >> Sit down. All right. So, what happened? >> So, I'm on the trash stop and all I'm hearing >> I wonder who he's intimidating in his everyday life because it's one of [clears throat] two things. He's getting away with this somewhere in his everyday life or he never gets away with it. So, he's trying he tries to do it to strangers and now he trying to buck up to the police. But either way, he's delusional because nobody nobody should be scared of him except if he has a weapon because, you know, then that's that's different. But yeah, no, you're not scaring anybody. He was being a jerk by revving up his bike. Reporters being drunk so he attracted the trouble on himself. Then talks tough while simultaneously whining about how he is weak due to injury. That's another he can't even fight between his shoulder and his elbow. How you talking tough? You can't even get a good swing in. Man, his voice is annoying. Imagine spending five minutes with him. Couldn't do it forever. TRL. And I remember Lovable's partner in crime is Sweet Tea. That's the one that if it's not lovable, it's usually sweet tea. If I'm like, "Who sent me this?" >> He's just down here going like this, just yelling, revving his bike like super loud. >> Okay. I'm like, "What's this guy's problem?" I'm trying to deal with a traffic stop. >> Yeah. >> And uh all these people, like, three or four people stop me. Hey, you need to check on He looks like he's drunk. He's all over the place. >> He's spawning over. So, I look down. He's like this. Like someone with the bike. >> Okay. >> Like, okay. So, then he just turns in front of the the cars here. Just makes a U-turn in the middle of the road real slow. Gets off here. He's walking around like tipping the bike over. So, okay. >> I go to get out with him and I was like I was like, "Hey, man. What's going on?" I was like, "You got an ID on you?" >> I said, "You're out here revving your engine on here like what's going on?" And he's like, "I'm not allowed to rev my [ __ ] engine and all this stuff." I was like, "Dude, >> you got an ID or anything?" I was like, "Let me pat you down, battling him down." He starts walking over this way and I said, "Hey, man." I said, "You're not going to >> I said, "You're not going to sit here and walk away." I said, "You are detained right now." So, I figure out what's going on. I don't have who you are. You look like you're drunk. someone ever. >> Okay. So, >> he starts walking this way. I say, "Hey, don't walk anywhere." I can tell he's about to fight. So, I was trying to like keep it like chill. Well, he kept walking that way >> and like he's like, "Don't put your finger on pace. I will bite your [ __ ] finger off." And all this [ __ ] So, I Okay. So, I pulled my taser out and was like, "Go, get [ __ ] on the ground." >> He gets on the ground and I Okay. >> He's just acting a fool though. So, okay. So, you got >> Tell you what, if I was a police officer, which I they probably fired me, I wouldn't be one long, but um I'mma tell you once. If I tell you get on the ground, turn around, whatever that order is, and you don't do it, and my taser's out, next words you going to hear are taser, taser, taser. I'm getting on the radio, taser, deploy, whatever the code is because I'm not talking anymore. I'm done. I asked you once with them cuz you got flag down. Possibly signal possibly signal one. See how awful reason get out one. Yeah. >> All right. So, you want to do signal one on them or you just want to do the uh resisting and resisting >> on end your life. I was like go ahead and get him on the displayed anything like hunker down fighting. >> No, he just like tensing. You can see him like tensing up but he's like I'm going over here. I said you're not going over there. You're detained. And he just kept walking. So, I pulled my taser out and soon I pulled a taser out he got on the ground. He complied. But >> I don't know what his deal is, man. He's like, >> "Let's run him." Is that his bike? >> I think so. >> Okay. >> Well, he's Dude, he's like >> I don't know what his deal was. Like, I was trying to be nice to him. He just starts getting all pissed off. >> Yeah. >> So, do the resisting. Uh, you want to do the launch? >> I'm I'm not too worried about it. Yeah. He's like, I will end your >> That was a >> Now, give him every I know they not. So, I'm just going to say this knowing they're not going to do it, but give him resisting. Give him uh menacing for threatening to do stuff. What's the other one? What? Oh, public nuisance or disturbing the peace. What else can we get out of this? Give it Give him everything. >> Weirdest encounter. He's like, I will bite your finger off. and take falls like a normal, you know, just a normal fill in death. >> I love to see when the sergeant looks like they got some time on, comes to the scene, listens to the story, make sure that the officer has all their ducks in line and they're doing everything by policy and within the law. And remember, there's a thing called vicarious liability. The sergeant can also incur some liability if the officer does something wrong. >> Ace, I wouldn't be a cop because I No, that this is exactly why a lot of people shouldn't be cops. I'm I'm joking. That's why I would never do this. I wouldn't actually, you know, no, no, no. I I'm so sorry. I was joking. Like me and love would joke about the type of cops we be, but that's why we would not be cops because you need to have you need to have patience and you need to with all people. You need to have patience. Yeah. But no, I wouldn't actually do it. [laughter] But >> because the best sergeants are the ones that don't sit in the office for the whole shift that they're out there on the street interacting with their officers and making sure that they're teaching them from the things that they know from their experience in the past. Good stuff. I really like what I'm seeing from the squad. >> All right, Mr. Joel. Looks like you are going to jail today for resisting an officer without violence. >> What? >> Um, >> dude, what? >> I got a couple questions. They're not relevant incriminating, >> dude. I'm suing the You call my lawyer. >> Well, I don't call my wife. Call my lawyer. >> I would You know what? I know you don't have to call their lawyers at this point, but for some people, I'm like, "All right, call your lawyer. I just want to see if you actually have a lawyer to call. Call them. Call them. I want to know." And he he need to pull his shorts up. That's killing me. Um and now you're suing. Suing for what? >> Did you take anything? Do you have any medical necessity to be checked out by you right now? Okay. What did you take? >> I mean No, I didn't take any ma'am. >> Okay. So, you don't have any medical. >> Okay. What are your medical needs? >> I need to get these. Can I put the cuffs in front of me? Because I have a blown out elbow, a blown out shoulder, a blown out ankle. >> Not right now. If you listen, if you can calm down. >> His ankle gone too. So he on the motorcycle revving a with a He can't even brace himself for a good fall. I know you They're probably taught how to try to fall safely off the motorcycle. He can't do that. Bad ankle, bad elbow, bad shoulder. What are you doing out here trying to act tough? Babe, you got to go sit down. He about to be in assisted living in a second. >> We can work with you, but you I get here, you're all agitated. Okay, take a breath. [clears throat] Listen, you saw me you saw me pull up, right? I didn't see anything prior to what happened. >> Please, we just can I put the my cuff in front of me, please. Can I please stand up? >> Take a breath. We'll we'll work on that in just a minute. Okay. >> Do you have anybody that can come get your bike? I see it's got a Minnesota tag. Are you down here with any family or anything? Do you have any family down here? >> No. No. >> Do you know anybody local? >> I own a house that way >> in Oakloo County. Fort Long Beach. >> Fort Long Beach. Okay. Do you have any who's living there with you? Like a family member that can come take possession of your bike or anything? No. One. Bro, >> he he just had no plan. He had no plan. Be a menace. Be drunk in public. Oh, that's another one. Public intoxication. We can add that, too. Drunk in public. Got these people calling the cops on you. He was on smell like a barefoot. That's crazy. That's crazy. Then you want to again argue with the police. You just had to leave. Probably would have been just a little trespass. And now you want to do all this. Oh, impound the impound the motorcycle cuz can't nobody come get it for what? I don't know how some adults be making it out here in this world. >> Been here for a long time. I just got back from a long deployment. Please get me out of these. >> Where were you deployed at? >> Dude, I can't even tell you. >> Okay. Yeah, >> that man was deployed to another state. I cuz he just got back from a long deployment. What do you think he was doing? Because I'mma tell you now what? Oh, they don't have the year showing on here. No, no, no, no. You ain't deployed nowhere where where it matters looking like this. No, no. He deployed He deployed to uh to Minnesota. Exactly where he from. He's he is Minnesota guard and he got deployed to deal with a flood or something in Minnesota. Don't play. It's not classified. have any ID anywhere on your bike or anything? >> I will have I have a picture of it on my phone. Please, can I just get out of these cops, please, man? >> Well, no, because you're going to jail. So, resisting an officer without violence. I just >> resisting that's a jailable offense. >> Yes, because it's a misdemeanor and >> Come on, man. You're going to take me to jail for a misdemeanor, bro. Please. >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. >> I'm a felon, dog. >> I take people to jail for >> Please, man. Don't do this. I don't have any money to bail out either. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry. Did I misunderstand the deployment? You You're a felon also. >> Please, man. Please do it. >> Okay. He said he just got back from a deployment and he can't talk about it. And then he also says that he's a felon. I don't know this man. I'm not investigating him, but those two things don't make sense together because what kind of unit is deploying felons? I've never ever heard of that. Another thing that's important is if you look here where his feet are. There are situations where an officer closes the door and the person puts their foot out and there have been broken feet. There have been cuts on the feet. You have to be really really careful under the circumstances when a person has their foot like that. Especially if they try to get out closing that door. You got to be super careful. >> How did you touch the guy? >> That's why it's without violence. >> HOW DID I RESIST? I WALKED AWAY. I WAS UNDER ARREST. I ASKED HIM. AM I UNDER ARREST? >> Another charge. Tango. Yes. DUI. That's right. Cuz he's intoxicated operating a vehicle. >> No, I walked away. He told you you were detained. >> For what? >> For what, dude? Why, dude? Why is this happening to me? Please, dude. Please, brother. Please get me the out of these cuffs, man. I'm hurting, dude. I need to go relax and I just got over. >> Please, man. >> I can't talk to you if you're yelling. >> Why am I in cuffs, bro? I'm a warrior for the [ __ ] country. Don't take me out of cuffs, please. Dude, I'll >> don't put your feet out of there. >> You take me out of this car. >> Put your feet in the car. >> Take me out of the car. >> You're going to throw an extra charge if I got to tell you. >> Put your feet in the car. >> You told me to give you my shoes at waste, man. >> Put your feet in the car. >> Don't touch me, kid. >> Listen, do not touch me. >> I'm not worried about you. >> Look at me, brother. >> Look at me, brother. I don't care. I absolutely do not care. One >> fear should be a real thing in your life right now. >> Okay. >> Hey, brother. Why is this kid touching me? >> Cuz if I got to touch Put your feet. >> Why did you just kick me? >> What are you talking about, >> dude? The kid just kicked me. I want to put my shoes on. I shouldn't even be in cuffs, bro. >> Well, you're going to jail. >> I didn't do anything. Why am I going to jail? >> I've already explained to you. >> This kid doesn't We're my rights. Please. >> I'm not asking you anything. >> Please my right. I don't need to reuse. >> Please. Why am I detained? Reading my >> You were under arrest. You were not. >> What am I arrested for? I have no ticket. I have not been Okay, please. Can I get out of this vehicle? >> No, you're not getting out of there, sir. You're going to jail. >> For what? >> Would you like to speak to a supervisor? >> Yes. I have one here. What? Clear. >> Close that door. Living life. I am so sorry. I am sorry to all that are probably going to be mosing on in here at the time I had set. Those times are very fluid. So if you see a live, just hit that notify me button on that live because I my energy I be flowing with my energy sometimes, you know, and so I just, you know, so I try to send out uh live alerts and then hit that notify me on the actual live because time it don't mean nothing when I put it there except I I hate when if I put it and that time passed and I didn't update it already. I hate doing that because it's like people got ready to be there. So I really try not to do that. But don't trust my times. just, you know, um, hit that notify me button. I'm so sorry. Living life. >> Your feet in the car. Move your knee. >> Why am I being a >> Move your knee? >> What? >> He wants to talk to you. >> Uh-huh. >> Ah, he wants to talk to you. He has no medical necessity to be checked out. >> Okay. >> He's refusing to listen to absolutely anything. He wants to get out of the car. Wants to take his feet out. I keep throwing put it in there. >> He's moving. I just had to push his foot in with my foot. Had to shut the door on his knee because he's refusing to move it. He says he works for the government in some capacity. He's got no ID, but he also just told me he's a felon. So, he doesn't >> he's got no family local. >> Put the window down. >> A person acting like this one minute calm, then the next minute going off. Most officers who watching this are going to tell you that you got to be careful. The person like this will spit. >> All right, sir. Hey. Hey. Listen to me. All right. So, right now, you're going to go to jail for obstruction. Okay. >> Okay. Listen to me. over that. >> It's as simple as a >> Oh, Lord. I I thought his voice was already annoying. Crying voice even worse. Naturally, be yourself. Thank you for the five jewels. I hope you're in here in real time right now cuz I know you'll speed up the thing to catch up. So, hopefully you're in here in real time, but thank you for the jewels. I appreciate it. >> In charge. Okay. >> For what? I don't have anybody to get old. >> I understand. All right. All right. We're going to help you out. Right. So, um, dude, my question is, do you have anybody who can come get your bike? >> Dude, I don't have anybody. I'm individual warrior of one, sir. >> Idea who you're DEFEATING RIGHT NOW. WHY ARE YOU DOING this to me? Can I at least put my hands in front of me, please? >> Yeah, we can't do that. All right. What's wrong with your shoulders? >> Man, blow the [ __ ] out. My labs are as [ __ ] my shoulders can't bend like this, man. Please help me. >> Just put my hands in front of me. I'll go wherever you want. Please just put my hand. >> I can't take the cuffs off you right now. >> I just Von, I didn't do anything. I didn't touch anyone. Von, listen. Listen to me. >> Why are you doing this to me, dude? >> Listen to me. Okay, >> you >> Okay. >> Just cuz he's switching personalities. I put a spit mask on him. I don't trust belligerent people. Like, you get the spit mask. That's another thing. Nope. I don't like you. I don't know what you going to do. Y'all already threatening to bite me anyway, too. Spit mask. Um, he's going through everything and he's yo-yoing between those emotions. Let's just get him to the station. How about that? How about that? Let's see. Oh, he's going to spit. I didn't even see this comment yet. Yeah. See, this is I'm like automatic spit mask for people like this. >> Don't spit on me. I didn't spit on you, you [ __ ] ass [ __ ] Take me to jail. That >> take me to jail, you [ __ ] ass mother. >> Okay. Hey, now it's warrior time, sir. [ __ ] you. >> Don't spit on me. >> I didn't spit on you, Von. I spit next to you. Get the out of my face, you [ __ ] little [ __ ] >> Okay, >> take me to jail, mother. You [ __ ] ass mother. >> We don't need a spit, right? >> So, throw your window up. >> I'm going to beat your ass. Beat your ass and I'll come back and I'll beat your >> Hey, >> I'M GOING CALM DOWN, >> [ __ ] >> HEY, calm down. >> KNUCKLE UP, [ __ ] >> CALM DOWN. I'M REDUNDANT detained as [ __ ] >> Yeah, you're going to jail. >> YEAH, TAKE ME TO JAIL. >> OMAR, he ain't in nothing as a felon. Once he put that part up there that he's a felon, I was like cuz I was still giving him a little bit with the body type because we have, you know, there's out of shape people in the military like life be lifeing. Okay, so it can happen. But when he say he was a felon, no, he ain't nobody nothing. Now, let me see. Did he say post-traumatic or he look like he's displaying PTSD pilot? Whatever it is. I wonder if he like actually ever joined and then he's just not in or he never was in at all. Like a stolen valor thing. I I I I'd like to know. Let me see. Yeah, that mouth on him. Texas cannon. That that personality keeps switching. I can't keep up with him. Noir, >> you're going. >> We're not going to put it. >> You don't want to? >> Not right now. >> Bite your finger off. All right, I'll leave it. >> So, um I'm going to tell Ryan to go ahead and hit him with the law as well. >> I think I think he's going to do the pipe that was in his pocket call to jail before you get up there. >> Yeah, that's just going to be >> All right. So, um >> where's Ryan at? >> Hey, Ryan. >> Go ahead and hit him up with the assault charge again. >> Yeah, he he got everybody this time. So, just do the one count of assault on LE. Okay. And the um resistance charge. Okay. He said he doesn't have anybody to come get the bike. So, we're going to end up towing that. Okay. >> He's he's high. >> He's already going up north. >> Pimple. His pupils are >> um if I had to guess, he's bipolar because he went from crying to like seriously pissed off like a light. >> He was with me the whole time. So, like I was trying to be nice at first, like he's walking away. He Yes, sir. >> Okay. A lot of interesting things with this video and a lot of things to learn. And I've noticed that all the officers looked alike and I was just looking to see why they all had their mustache and they have a very similar look. And I'm looking at the date and it's November. So Movember, if you're not familiar with Movember, men grow mustaches during that month. And I don't know, I remember we used to do it on the squads that I was on. >> Sergeant Curtis be answering all the questions. So that's why we seen all these thick mustaches. He be on it. He even talked about uh the equipment placement. You know, that's his favorite thing, too. You got tactical bun or tac bun. Um, you have, as Ace pointed out, short nails again to be tactical. And then he talks about knowing, like he said, knowing your equipment where it's at without having to look at it. You should always know where it is and be able to access it. So, don't use your dominant weapon hand to do other stuff. Keep that weapon hand ready to go. He covering all the bases today. So, oh, and searching. So, remember when we were talking about um the cops were real comfortable when they were going to the UPS buildings and stuff like that, warehouses, and they never searched people just to make sure there was no threat. And Sergeant Curtis said, "You need to be searching everybody." >> Police do it a lot. And you grow mustaches and it's supposed to raise awareness to men's health issues. I don't know if that's why they did this, but if you're on that squad, please let me know if that's why because I was wondering that why everyone looked like that. But it looks like this is a video from November. But some things I'd like to discuss the charges. It looked like they charged him with obstructing without violence according to the original video. And then it said looked like there may have been an assault charge as well. And that could have been for the spitting. I'm not 100% sure cuz I don't have the official documentation. But this was something that was completely avoidable if the guy had just interacted with the officer and explained to him what was going on. This could have likely been resolved and he switched back and forth from so many different forms of behavior. And you see what police have to deal with. It doesn't look like any of the officers took it personally, which is really, really good. And something that I noticed from watching this video is that in policing in our reports we very frequently will say through my training and experience. Now is this a formal training that a person's had right now? No, it's not formal but when we watch videos it's part of the experience that we have in life and seeing how people's behavior it's incredibly important. Doesn't only apply to policing but learning about human behavior is really really interesting. And on that note brings me to today's very interesting coin which kind of actually relates to some of the things that I was talking about. The person did not give me permission to say their name. Please, if you do send a coin, please put a note in to say whether you want your name mentioned or not, cuz I do respect people's privacy. But look at this. This is a really interesting coin because this coin is like uh very interesting. I'm going explain why. Okay, this is from the OIG. And I'm going to tilt it so you can see it. So, California Highway Patrol, Inspector General. That's why it's like this magnifying glass. Honor, knowledge, character, integrity, judgment, loyalty, and courtesy. Inspector General, California Highway Patrol. And I hope that you could see that cuz it's really, really cool. So it's like a magnifying glass. So this is the office of inspector general for the [music] California Highway Patrol. Office of Inspector General. So they are actually the people that if there is a complaint or an issue with the police and something that the police have done, they investigate the police. So it's a really interesting department to work for and they do phenomenal work in keeping police honest and keeping us to work up to our highest standards is what we seek in policing. And it says the foundation of excellence is sustained by the virtue of integrity. So that's >> Well, Sergeant Curtis, some of them might, but it ain't looking good out there. And then some some people need to go back and try again. It's not looking great for some of these cops that's still allowed to be out here. Okay, I have seven charges, but I feel like I'm missing one from earlier. Now, we know the ones he actually got, but I'm naming the ones that we named that he should have gotten. So, we got terroristic threats, menacing, assault on Leo, public nuisance, disturbing the peace, DUI or DWI, trespass after warning. I added that one. And I feel like I know there was one more, but I can't think of it right now. Oh, duh. The one that actually said resisting. That was the one they said. So, resisting needs to be on there, too. So, I got eight charges right now. Let me know if I missed one, but he he was racking them up. All right. This is a S Sergeant Curtis day, so it's fine. We're going to skip to the next Sergeant Curtis video. Highway patrol out here is pretty legit. I could believe that. Highway patrol just seems like they on a different level, but I'm not sure. Going one for guilty. I got you. Um, they definitely could have tried to charge him with public into Oh, that's the public intoxication. That's the ninth one. Thank you. I remember we we were talking about another one. Public intox. Got it. Yes. So, nine charges he could have been charged with. All right. This one is Sergeant Curtis. Entitled 18-year-old messes with the wrong officer. All right. This also could be between lovable and Omar, too, cuz Omar likes Sergeant Curtis a lot, too. All right. Here we go. >> Why is it always something with you all? >> Bro, why am I still sitting here? >> I JUST EXPLAINED IT TO YOU. >> DON'T DRAG ME. I'MMA GO do that. >> A pretty accurate description of policing is that you're going to encounter several people who are having the worst day of their life. And some of them are going to attempt to make the officer have the worst day of his or her life. And part of that process is yelling at the officer at the top of their lungs and then getting into a physical altercation. This is one of those. >> Here, just back up. Back up. Back up. >> If you see me waving my hand, there is a net. And I don't have time to get it with my little vacuum because I'm trying to pay attention and write these notes. But if you see me doing this, it's a nat. Um, all right, y'all. Let's rack up her charges because Lovable said they about to go easy on her. So, she not gonna get everything she should get. So, let's go ahead and see how many she can she can uh total up to. >> Go back there. I'll talk to you guys in a second. Okay. >> Yeah. >> What's going on? >> I'm pregnant. >> Oh, Jesus. All >> can you like Can you please come to my window, please? >> Did he say Oh, Jesus Allah. That cop already know where this is going. A habitual wild girl. And Sergeant Curse got on my nerves a little bit here. Uh oh. Okay. Don't tell me why he got on your nerves. I'mma see if I end up guessing it by the end. Lovable. >> Please, sir. >> Why is it always something with you? >> I don't know, bro. I don't know, bro. >> Oh, her name is Allah. I thought he was calling. I thought he was calling on Allah and Jesus. Her name is Allah. Got it. Got it. Got it. Well, see, when I don't watch ahead of time, there's so many things my brain could uh could, you know, think of. But here we [laughter] are. She and this cop know each other. I see now I'm a little late. Cop already trolling. We need to desperately wake up. That's what it see. Okay. My bad. My bad. [laughter] >> I don't know. I'm not your bro. We've been over this. >> Apologize. >> It's always something with you, Ala. >> Yeah, it can always be something. >> Can you turn your windshield wiper off? >> The repeat customer and policing. This is very common. I'm looking at this young lady. It sounds very, very familiar to me. Every officer knows that there's a person that you end up having to respond to several times during your career and sometimes multiple times in the same shift. Some people call it the shift subscriber. And it's never really their fault. And it's really frustrating to deal with people who act in this manner. >> Can you stop? Get in the car, Ala. Yeah. >> Get in the car. >> Shut up and get in the car. Alla >> bro, I >> already know Sergeant Curtis don't like the shut up part. I already know that. Lovable. >> Shut your door. >> Shut your car door. >> Is your car in park? >> Yes, it is. >> Can you just wait here for a minute? >> Oh, I'll come back and talk to you when you calm down. Who here's messing with Ava? >> I know. She You see my windshield? She broke that. Why' she do that? >> Uh because she's she's delusional. >> She she thought she think I was doing something with her. This is my cousin's girlfriend. >> Are you and I were together? >> No, she she pregnant. >> Okay. >> So, she thought it was something else. She comes over, breaks her windshield. Those two locks right there. >> Well, how' they end up back over there? >> Cuz we took them out the window. >> That's where the car was and she was talking about pulling me back up again. So, I had to pull it in the garage. Blue got cameras right there at the house. He said he had send me a videape. Then she called me again, said she was about to come and bust my church windows out right here. So basically just waiting until she came and since she got here, she tried to get her money back. Then she started pulling all this this and that. That's what happened. >> I I just didn't want my getting broke. I pulled back up cuz she literally she like I'm about to come break your I pull up. She coming around the corner. She's still living at her mom's >> with Huda. >> Not Not Oh my god. Did this cop just spill her business? Did he Did he just tell them she still live with her mom and somebody? Oh, this cop messy. And I love I now for my entertainment. I love a messy cop. Um, okay. So, we got throwing rocks at the house right now or throwing rocks at the vehicle so far. What would that one be possible? Like it I know it's like a it would be damage to property if it connected. What is what is it for throwing and was she throwing it at a person or at at the truck. So I'm I'm putting tentative by damage to property cuz I didn't catch if it actually connected or if she was throwing it at people. The boyfriend got on my nerves and the neighbor. Uh oh. That mean everybody about to get on my nerves. People with jeans they got everything open and torn up in the front. Be funny to me because you buying half pants. Th I like I like a little ripped dream jeans, but this is this is um this is a lot, you know. But it's hers. It's hers. >> I'm leaving. >> No, you're not. >> No. No. But you have to take >> No, you're not. >> I got to go. You can come talk to me or I GOT TO GO. I'M NOT BEING ARRESTED. I'M NOT BEING DETAINED. SO, I HAVE ALL >> GIVE ME MY MONEY. GIVE ME MY MONEY. Can you give me my money? I don't know. >> In all the years you've dealt with me, when have you telling me what to do ever worked? And I'm not trying to tell you what to That's okay. I apologize. I'll sit here and listen to you. I understand. I admit my >> Get out of the car and let's talk. >> I don't want to get out of the car. Can we just talk like this? >> Get out of the car and let's talk. >> You were already out of the car screaming and yelling at me. >> Right. It I'm not going to say it doesn't matter. >> I'm just trying to get the out of here. >> How'd the window get broken? >> I don't know them. The right there in the gray jogging. >> Okay, don't say that again. >> I'm sorry. the guy in the grave. >> Oh lord, she must have used the slur. Uh, damage to property is a go cuz they said he said how'd the window get broken. So, we're locking in damage to property. Um, I still want to know were people out there when she was throwing rocks cuz that could that could be assault if the rock didn't hit them but she still threw it at them and they thought it would hit them. Potential. Yeah, he is a potential officer uncle dad. Not even potential tango. You called it. This is a officer uncle dad. He is. Yeah, we'll give him that title. She called and told him she's breaking his windows and broke the girl's car window. >> Jogging suit is my baby dad. >> Yep. >> Okay. I don't know. Nobody else than the guy in the black one. He's the brother. I don't know nobody else over there. >> Okay. >> Okay. And I wasn't over here. I was with her. We were at the grocery store. I've been with her son. I left my baby dad's house yesterday night. >> He dropped me off. I have messages. >> I don't need all that. How'd the window get broken? >> I I don't know her. I have no idea. >> Why is every single one of them saying you broke the That's not an answer. He said, "How did the window get broken?" And she responds, "I don't know her." Not, "I don't know, but I don't know her." You're not answering the question. How How' the window get broken? Like, it's already on camera. The neighbors got it. And I'm with you, Ace. Them neighbors, they know no peace. They know no peace. If she's coming over here to this house and the way they're moving, he's going to keep that that the person that lives there is going to keep having drama at that house. I feel like they kind of welcome it even if it wasn't her. I feel like they just be troublesome neighbors. It just seemed like drama follows them. Throwing rocks could be assault and if person in the car. Yes. Oh, let me that's the one I wanted to put. So, I am going to write down socks. I think lovable was saying that there were people out there when she was throwing those rocks. I hope she has learned emotional regulation by now. Poor girl. Hopefully, she doesn't put her baby through all this. Oh my gosh, the stress going on with that baby. Yep. um 2022 hopefully four years. She's she is herself about 22 now. Hopefully she has gotten better for the sake of the child if nothing else. But for her freedom too cuz you the same stuff you was getting away with under 18 is and you're not always going to get your little officer uncle dad dealing with you either. It's going to be a new person new to you person that's going to be like I'm not putting up with this and you know you will see the real consequences. Okay. No, just at the vehicle. Okay. All right. I'll take assault off then. Okay. >> Window. >> No one was over there. Duh. They're going to team up against me. >> So when I go watch this video, cuz apparently when the neighbor says video, I thought I can watch it. >> WATCH THE VIDEO. WATCH THE VIDEO, SIR. GO. >> You're not going to be >> I'm not trying to be like that. >> Why? Why is it like this every time I deal with you? >> Because, bro, I'm not your bro. >> I'm a individual if that's what you call it. >> Well, you can't stay out of trouble. >> Yes, I can. I've been out of trouble. Since since I turned 18, my record's clean. I have not been in trouble. So, >> but you're always dealt up in drama. >> Okay. This kind of call incredibly common. The suspected cheating and someone breaks out a window on the vehicle. The cheating obviously is not a crime that police can enforce. >> I want to know how old he is, too. The one that she thinks is cheating on her or whatever it is. I want to know how old is he because if the baby's as formed as it looks in her belly, I'm feeling like she got pregnant at 17, but now she's 18. I'm not sure, but how old how old is he? I I need to know cuz I'm getting some 20s off of this real fast. Criminal mis criminal mischief. I have added Omar. So, I got damage to property and criminal mischief so far. I can sense a I can't go back to jail coming. [laughter] Yep. Lovable said, "I don't believe she has learned her lesson because she has been getting away with it for too long." Yeah. Even to say, "My record's been clean since I turned 18." She's 18 now, isn't she? She's She definitely hasn't learned anything now because you were throwing rocks. Literally throwing rocks and trying to hide your hand. She has not learned anything. If her records clean is because the people didn't follow through with probably pressing charges when they could have on other things she did, but not because she wasn't up to anything. Doesn't she have another child as well? Oh no. [sighs] Lord Noir. Okay, I got you. I'm still putting it as two separate charges. Omar, I hear you. I'm still putting it down. She got two right now from for my notebook. My handy dandy notebook. I can answer some of the questions that you have, but I don't want to jump ahead. Oh, okay. So, they're going to get answered. I got you, Lovable. I got you. You can answer because uh Wows has seen it, too. So, you can answer if you want to. Hey, Christina. Yes, we love some. This is a Hey, officer for Omar and Lovable. But yeah, and then Candace says she likes Sergeant Curtis. Christina, you like him? I think most people here, if you if we've been here for a while, Sergeant Curtis has been weaved through a lot of our body cams at this point, >> but it causes a lot of domestic type situations. And the busting out of the window is definitely a crime in nearly every jurisdiction. I know. Malicious destruction of private property. Damage to vehicle. I mean, every jurisdiction is going >> damage to vehicle and then we're going to go like he said, malicious malicious destru I can take a pause. Malicious destruction to private property. Yep. Okay. Oh, let me hit play. Y'all don't have to wait on me to write. Let me hit play. >> I have a different charge for it. But let's talk about the crime. The value of the window is going to matter and having a witness because this could potentially be a misdemeanor not committed in the presence of an officer. So, the investigation has to really point directly to the person who did it. Video, eyewitnesses, all those things are going to matter going forward. >> And it's [ __ ] Alla. It's [ __ ] You're always dealt up in some [ __ ] >> I know. Trust me, I'm not trying to use it as an excuse. It's cuz I don't know. I'm not going to make no excuses. >> Thought you were moving out of state. >> I did. I moved to Indiana for a minute. >> Well, why'd you come back? >> Cuz I had kids here. >> I don't know that. >> I don't know that. >> Stop. Stop. >> No, because I'm not about to keep on getting blamed for something to go watch the video. Like, I'm not about to keep getting blamed for something I didn't do. Period. Point blank. Like, >> when has you talking to me this way ever gone your way? >> Anywhere? It It DOESN'T GET ME NOWHERE. IT DOESN'T GET YOU ANYWHERE. >> I DON'T CARE. LIKE I DON'T CARE. [ __ ] I don't care. Like it's up. I don't care, bro. Like I should be in jail to be honest, bro. I don't I don't want to be here. Like >> then why do you keep coming back? >> I don't know. I got kids to take care of literally that no one else will take care of. So it's my responsibility. >> They're your children. Who do you want? >> I have kids to take care of. Oh lord. So, oh, so we can do um contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Yep. Yep. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor cuz I hear I think I hear a kid in that car. And if she did throw those rocks, I feel like now I'm not saying these charges would stick, but this is all I'm putting on there if it was me. Children, right, Ace? He did sound disappointed. He's a He's a definitely a officer, Uncle Dad, cuz he does sound disappointed. She said she moved back because she has kids there. Tango, you hear it? Yep. U Well, Tango, you the one that pointed it out. You would think this cop is the baby. He He sound like he cares more, Omar. Sorry for uh hitting my desk, but yeah, he sounds like he cares more. Omar, you would think that neglect. We'll go ahead and put that in there. Thank you, Omar. Got it. I don't put it on nobody else. So, I take care of them. >> They're your children. Yes. You're supposed to take care of >> You told me why do I come back? I'm telling you why I come back to take care of my children. You ask me a question, I answer. >> God, you are such a smart ass. Every time I deal with you, you are such a smartass. Even the times I've helped you, you've been nothing but a smart ass to me. >> You've never mind. I'm not going to say you never helped me. All right. >> Yeah, cuz you know that's a lie. >> That's why I myself. I know. I'm just a disappointment. I don't know why I'm like this. >> You still living with your mom? >> No. >> Where are you living? >> I live over there on >> with who? >> What do you mean with who? >> With who? >> My brother. >> Okay. >> Trying to act to get her ass beat. To act tough as >> Yeah. tough as used to get her ass. >> No regrets. There's no accountability. No regrets. Turn them tears off. I promise I didn't care when they started. I care even less now. Contributing to delinquency wouldn't stick unless she was encouraging them to throw rocks. But no, cuz look, Ace, this is the thing. When they be getting caught for shoplifting, even if they didn't involve their child in the shoplifting, they've given that charge, but it probably still won't stick. But they do give that charge just cuz you are committing the crime in front of the kid, but it probably still wouldn't stick. But I have seen them do this. He's trying to tell her to take them with you. H plet this girl getting on my nerve. >> The >> literally act tough. >> Can you shut up? >> Cuz she is though. Like let's be real. What am I waiting here for? >> They know. They know because right now I'm investigating a possible crime where you broke a window. So you are not free to go. >> Okay. So, >> and it is a courtesy. I have not put you in handcuffs while I investigate this. >> Okay. Well, would you want to put me in handcuffs? Like, is that what you're >> Yes, please put her in handcuffs. We would love it because she should be in handcuffs because she's too sporadic. Um, and she has a history. She has a history. So, let's go ahead and put her in handcuffs. Also, I don't like it when parents use their kids as an excuse, but then you go do everything that would traumatize your child if your child happens to be in there doing all of this and then whatever else she's done in front of her kids before, but it's for the kids. You came back to this town for your kids. No. No, you didn't. You came back for whatever selfish reasons you have, but it's not the kids. Nope. If someone says you're always a smart ass, I'd be like, would you rather I be dumb? Cuz that's a smart a comment. living life when kid help shoplift. Yes, but little kids present. Nah, for sticking. I get it. I'm just telling you though, they be they do charge them though. Ace, but for sticking, I could see I could see that he's handling her with kid gloves. He is. He got to let it go. She hasn't learned. She has learned nothing. She's more worried about a man than her own children. Yes, which happens unfortunately. But at what point do you realize you may be the problem? She's She It's maybe now in 2026 she's realized it, but it was no hope at this time. I want her in handcuffs in the back of police car. Yep. Let them do their investigation. She can be detained in the back of police car. If they can't find nothing, then she could be released from being detained. But she needs she needs to have handcuffs now. The only reason he hasn't already detained her is because they have history. I see. Um Ace said, "I think Cuss will be okay right away when she gets out of the car. No arrest, but detained." I agree. That's all I'm saying. and finish your investigation. Detain her properly because how also I haven't heard a second person so maybe there is a second cop with him but how are you doing a proper investigation? You got to deal with her doing this back and forth stuff and and getting out the car yelling all this extra stuff. How are you properly doing anything? You can't even keep your attention where it should be. So history or not, put her in handcuffs in the back of a police car. Turn the AC on if it's uh well, she got a sweatshirt on, so maybe it's not hot out there. But whatever temperature you need to turn on, raise them windows up so she can't yell at nobody. And let's investigate. Hey, academic tryh hard. Allegedly. [laughter] Oh, I am about to put allegedly on my shirts, but um I don't know if it'll be my shirts cuz I I like a certain shaped shirt and I don't know if I have that for myself, but I'm looking I am either going to buy an allegedly shirt or I'm going to make an allegedly shirt because after my friends got me some stuff for my birthday. I'm like, "Oh, it's starting. I'm getting stuff with legal with uh legal verbiage on it now." >> Thank Why are you always such a >> Because like why am I still sitting here? >> I JUST EXPLAINED IT TO YOU. YOU WANT TO GET LOUD? I'LL GET LOUD. >> I DON'T CARE ABOUT NONE OF THAT [ __ ] I'M used to that [ __ ] I DON'T CARE. >> NO [ __ ] YOU'RE USED TO IT. >> YES. I DON'T CARE >> BECAUSE YOU CAN'T STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. >> I DON'T CARE. >> You think you GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT? >> I DON'T CARE. I KNOW I DON'T. IT'S THE DIFFERENCE. I KNOW. I DON'T. >> Get out of the car. >> Okay. So, this officer has a history with this young lady here and he's actually helped her by both of their admission. But my question is, is the language and the yelling and stooping to her level helping? And is this the professional manner that the officer wants to portray himself? Again, his career, his call. I'm here to help young aspiring officers look at other options of interacting with people because are the optics good? If someone just goes by and captures the officer yelling and screaming at her like that and using this language, is it going to help him in his career? And again, 72 degrees talking to you on YouTube, but I've had these kinds of situations. And this is the question. Does stooping to the >> I'm sorry, Art, but this is not how the legal process works at all. um that's not how it works. That's the time if if it's, you know, criminal and you're about to and depending on the crime, you would go in front of a grand jury because most times it's going to be your your local jury. It's not even going to be a grand jury. And that's when the charges stuck. Prosecution decided to actually go after the charges. You decided you wanted a trial and you decided you didn't want a bench trial because th those are options, too. Um, but no, all she all her rights are right now is he he already knows her. So technically she's already been identified. So her right is remain silent. That's all she has right now. There is no there is the due processes if courts you know the courts then do that part but there is nothing to do with a jury at this time. Um, and also, well, I'll stop because I don't want to ruin the flow too much. But yeah, I'm sorry. That's that's not actually the the process, though. And I'm I'm speaking from a lay person's term as well. So, I'm not even trying to say I'm exactly right in what I'm saying, but I'm just giving you some things I have seen. I have interest. And I'm that's not that order is not the way it goes. I see our problem with Sergeant Curtis today. We get it. But we also see the whole picture and why the officer has reached this point plus their history. He's over it. It happens. He's human and he needs to detain her this so he doesn't have to keep doing this engaging thing with her like detain her, read her her rights because you got to be real careful once you do know somebody because you might accidentally skip over your normal things you do if it was a stranger. So detain her, read her her rights if you're going to still ask her questions about the supposed crime she committed. And I'm with Ace. separate those other people so their stories don't match up just cuz they hear each other more so that's just what happened so their stories match up. I'm with you on that one. Love will say, "Yep, it's because that's the only way some people learn." Ace says, "Screaming at her ain't going to help." Like she said, "I'm used to it. He's just being like people she perceived as her abusers." Did she say she had abusers? I didn't know she did. I'm not being funny. I didn't hear her say that. But yelling isn't going to help cuz she's yelling right back. He needs to just separate her, stop engaging until he actually has questions for her. I don't know how much of a history you got. It's weird for an officer to talk to her like this and not detain her already. He said years. He said multiple years. But this is where you do kind of start putting your career in a weird spot depending on how she wants to go about this interaction because it's casual because he's known her and it probably is almost like at this point it's like a neighborhood little sister. But if she wanted to be like make it a thing, she could be like he didn't handle me like a police officer should and all this other stuff. So, you know, all right, Art. I look, one thing I don't do is I don't try to force myself and my thoughts on people. So, I gave you mine, you gave me yours. I'mma let it go. She's so lost kids. I feel for them multiple kids. is crazy. [clears throat] >> The level of the person who's acting immature help the situation. That has to be the question. And is the degree of professionalism that you're putting into it matching what your department standard is? >> I'll get out of the car. I'm dragging you out. >> What if I get out the car for? >> Because you're under arrest. >> Are you being serious right now? >> I'm 100% serious. >> Can I at least call my family and tell them? >> You can call them when you're booked in. >> Are you being serious right now? >> Let's go. >> You're being serious right now? >> Yes. Get out of the car. >> Okay. Yes, sir. But what? >> Get out of the car. I'm dragging you out of the car. Take my wallet. Please make sure it gets to my house safe. It has all my money. >> Yes. Can you please make sure my stuff gets to it safe? Right here. >> Let's go. Nope. Give me your phone. >> Go ahead. Get off of me. Take this [ __ ] Get off of me LIKE ME. I'M A GO. LIKE >> no bro. >> And if they didn't have that other interaction, none of this could be questioned. But if she decided to bring this up for as an internal investigation or complaint, he'd be in some gray area. He would Ace said, "Yes, Tricky walking that line of professionalism with folks, you know, either positively or negatively. She should have been Oh, I caught her on a crazy screenshot, but she should have immediately been detained the proper way." Then he she couldn't have riled him up as much. He couldn't he didn't he wouldn't allow himself to get riled up as much. I get why she's getting on his nerves, but I'm at it's a risk. That's all I'm saying. She don't care about his career. >> DOESN'T MATTER. >> I'M PREGNANT. DON'T DO THAT. WE'RE NOT SICK. Get off OF ME. REALLY? >> STOP. I GOT PREGNANT. >> THEN STOP FIGHTING US NOW. HAVE 46 up 32 also [laughter] >> stoping ridiculous every time please put me in cuss and get off my [ __ ] like that my stomach is leaning to the right please I'm not ignit this is gettinging ridiculous Do you understand me? This is getting [ __ ] stupid. Now you're definitely going to jail. >> But I was going regardless off of me, bro. >> Get in the car. >> BRO, LIKE really go get all their info. I'm sending her for the criminal damage check >> in custody cuz she's not handcuffed and she's still emotionally very very hyped up. Emotion and reason. We can see that her emotion is super duper high and she's not being reasonable. As the officer, we have to be very careful that we don't allow our emotion to become involved and I have made this mistake and that's how come I'm sharing it with you because there are other options when we see a person hyped up like this. Could we potentially say, "Allah, take a deep breath. You're not making any sense. You're pregnant right now. Let's focus on your baby. Take a deep breath." because a lot of what she's doing is in my opinion performative for the other people that are around and getting her to lock in on us as the professional and maintaining the presence and bearing of a professional while we are interacting with her in hopes that she matches. We could always go to where we got to go where we can grab a person, snatch a person, but a person who considers pregnant, that's almost just like holding a baby. So, I'm not saying you can't take a person into custody who is pregnant, but matching their energy with this wildness and everything can create challenges. This is a segment of a body cam video. I'm not there. My goal here, there's a similar type situation and an officer has other options on their tool belt to speak to a person to kind of calm them down and deescalate it while we maintain our professional bearing is very helpful. >> Anybody see her do it? >> Oh, dang. There was five people out there. Um, I agree with Sergeant Curtis that she was also performing in this performing for the crowd at the house. I didn't even think about that too cuz Yeah. Yeah. She needed them to always hear her, see her do the most. I wonder if they all had either not went in the house cuz she'd still be yelling because they could hear her from the house, but I wonder if like they had been like, "Let's go down the street or just something else." Would she still be so hype? I didn't even think about the performing part cuz I see a lot of um couples do that for sure. When somebody's getting arrested, they doing more because the other half of the couple is out there. A yeah, he got distracted getting her out of the car. went off on a tangent due to their history. Should should have gotten her out. Put her in squad car, then talked, etc. behind sight and whatnot. Right, right, right, right. Forever said, I think I'm thinking this is a small town. They probably don't have a lot of officers, so everyone knows her. I don't think that take a breath s would help someone like [laughter] No, at that time it would not. Well, I might not have used the strong of words, but that's Well, it does matter. Well, I don't actually I don't You might even be trying to say what I'm inferring. I think you're trying to say at the beginning. So, I will say that I actually think the cop could get himself in trouble with the way he was dealing with her. He's too familiar and that will get you in trouble. >> All right. What's uh dude's name? >> His sister right here in this first apartment. She just came out say he at work. So if you need any information about him, just knock on the gray door, but the >> Hi. So your brother lives there? >> Yes, my brother lives there. He's at work. He called me and he was like, "Why are the police walking up to my door?" I'm like, "Probably because they asked earlier if I'd seen anything." I'm like, "Well, my brother's got cameras that face right down here." So he's at work. He's going to go through it and look and going to send me whatever. >> Okay. >> So, >> all right. Perfect. I appreciate it. Thank you. >> Yep. Good luck. >> Ala, it gets to the point I have to yell at you because you do not listen to anything I say. >> I can look. I'm not going to HAVE NOBODY. >> I CANNOT HAVE A normal conversation with you ever. >> Do you hear me, sir? >> No, because you're screaming and yelling when I'm trying to talk to YOU AGAIN. THIS IS WHY IT TURNS INTO A SHOUTY MATCH BETWEEN YOU AND I every single time. Every time I talk to you till I was blue in the face when you were a juvenile. You don't care. You do your own thing and then when you get in trouble, this is what you do every time. >> It never changes. >> Okay. Thanks. >> 14. I can't do this. >> Oh, I'm not talking to you right now. >> Oh my god. My daughter's okay. >> Can you please do me a favor? >> Who has your daughter? >> My My daughter is with her momo. I need to make sure she gets to my house. with Huda? >> No. No, not with Huda. I'm trying to make sure she gets to Huda safely. >> Stop yelling at me. >> Will you please Can you please listen to me, sir? Sir, can you just please come? >> Hala, I have things I have to do first. >> I need to make sure my daughter >> Okay, you need to wait for a moment. Your >> Now we think about the child after we rolled by throwing rocks at the at the vehicle. Now we think about the children. Every time we think about them afterwards, I think the officer is more of a big bro and probably cut her as many breaks as he could. Now she's worried about her daughter, right? No, he that's the thing. That's why he's jeopardizing anything he got going on because he is like a big brother and no good deed goes unpunished is the issue for him because he she's getting the better of the treatment because she's dealing with him. Even though he's yelling at her, that's that could come back to bite him. But like he said, every time we start yelling at each other, it could come back to hurt him. That's what I'm saying. He just needs to stop engaging with her cuz it's too personal. Thank you, Kim. He He needs to stop engaging. You should have thought of that earlier, right? She don't care about them kids. She's in cuffs. And now we got to think about what can I do cuz I'm in cuffs. She did not care about them kids. I don't believe she came back to town for her kids. I don't believe she cared about her kids when she was driving around to throw rocks at that truck. No, you can't convince me that because you know where you'd be? Either at work, at school, or home with your kids. If you cared about your kids, you would not be here throwing rocks at somebody's property. That is a crime that could get you arrested and taken away from your kids for any length of time. >> Water is safe. You need to wait a moment. >> All this would have been real simple. You'd have got a summon for criminal. >> You'd have got Shut up and listen. You'd got >> And then he did have a partner. Y'all saw when when he had to uh take her to the ground, there was a second cop there. So, you should have Yeah, he should have let the other cop either deal with her if he felt She's annoying. I'm not taking that away. But it's weird cuz I really do see him risking stuff later on because of her. Like, I don't know if you have a family and stuff, but I'm telling you, no good deed goes unpunished. If she acted correctly, she would not have been in that police car. She did too much. I bet the kids don't even live with her. Why move out of town and don't take your kids? I don't think they live with her either. I don't I don't think because she said they got to come from mama house which was not her biological mother because we know who the is her mother and that's where the kid was going to and coming from. I guess that's the other grandmother. I would think if someone's called mama that's the other grandmother. Yeah. I don't think the kids actually live with her either. She's probably getting visitation right now. a summon for criminal damage and I sent you on your way. But you, in all your wisdom, like you always do, you fight us because you think that's going to go your way. >> It's never going to go my way. >> No, it's not. So, I don't understand why you do it every time cuz now you just get more charges. >> I know. I >> The officer is making a really good point. It goes the same way every time. But if we're yelling back and forth, then our method might possibly shift to something else. And again, this is just constructive to see because I made it past the 20some year mark and I want other officers do. Having stress every single shift when other people yell and scream at us, it just creates more stress and drama in our own lives. Maybe we just ignore them. Vent out inside the back of the police car. What's going to happen is going to happen. Is there any need to get our blood pressure up as well? Just the point. >> I didn't want to call my mother. Please. >> Not yet. I told you I will let you when I allow you to do it. You are under arrest. You are on my time now. Do you understand, Ala? Why did you even come over here today? >> There's no reason to even talk anymore. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be a There's no reason to even talk anymore. >> Hi. >> Hello. How you doing? >> Do you guys see anything? >> I see deals going on 24/7. And that that punk in the gray right there, he's the main guy selling 24/7. I get I'm getting ready to go to work here in a couple minutes. I get off work at 2:00 in the morning. He's out here dealing all all day long. All night long he's out here dealing. >> Did you see anybody? >> Did you see anybody actually do it? >> No, that's his second girlfriend. And the first girlfriend, she got her back window busted out with a big with a big rock. Matter of fact, the rock was over there, but it's gone. >> Yeah, there's two rocks sitting there. >> We have a nice neighborhood except for that apartment right here. 24/7. It's nothing but around here. >> This this this is a nice neighborhood except for that apartment. But the more more you call, the more complaints that we get. You know, we can start making a nuisance complaint and hopefully get them out. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Very common when you canvasing for witnesses that they'll mention that there's a challenge that you have with one apartment or one house on the street and they're dealing illegal pharmaceuticals or have gang members at the house and you have to follow up on that like you would get that. >> Hey, he says pharmaceuticals too. That's what I use sometimes when I don't want to say the real word. I say pharmaceuticals. So that's interesting. This is the neighbor that got on my nerves. Okay. All right. I saw the big red arrow. Or or is he the one that live lives there? Oh, wait. No, the neighbor that they just the cop just talked to. Got on your nerves. Got you, L. He done told what the dealer does. I know these neighbors are done with them. They Oh, you know they You know they done. Like I I said I don't know if they deal or don't deal, but I do feel they have a lot of drama always coming to their house. I really really do. And the only reason I'm not automatically putting on there that they actually for real deal pharmaceuticals is because the certain white neighbors say that just cuz they have black neighbors that get visitors. So that's why I'm not saying it. Could it sometimes hit it target? Mhm. But they don't I don't think they suspect their other white neighbors are doing that if they have a lot of visitors. So that's why I'm like I'm not going to automatically say that that's exactly for sure what they do. But I know they're annoying. I know they bring a lot of drama around there >> information as well. while you conduct this primary investigation you have here, pass that information on to another shift. Document everything you can. Maybe pass it off to narcotics if it's a narcotics related thing. Pass it off to gangs. If it's a gang related thing, but it's important and this happens very very frequently and sometimes those are really good cases to follow up on. The citizens rely upon us to do that and it's really important stuff. >> Tell me everything that happened. Again, >> basically last she was over last night. I took her home wherever I went back this morning. She like where you at? I'm like I'm pulling up to the house like I just got back. Boom boom house. This is my my cousin's girl. He in jail. So like they together soon. She just called to ask for a couple dollars. She came over like I smoke like so I'm be out. So she came in. She like I'm match. Boom. She with her. I'm like all right whatever. I just got back sit here and go to sleep. Like >> she come blowing me up like oh you over there with that you your cousin's [ __ ] I'm about to everything up. Just know you made their bed. You got her laying it skip. I'm like all right. I don't got time for you. I'm like, I just got off the road. I'm about to go to sleep. >> Yeah. >> She was sitting there. We come out, go to leave. Bricks on top of the window. Feel me? She threw the brick through the window. >> Did you see her throw the bricks? >> No. But I soon as I came, soon as I came out, I had to girl that live next to me cuz her brother live right there with the cameras, but he at work. So she told me like if you need to get the cameras. >> Did anybody see her throw those through the car window? >> I asked him. They they said they heard something but they wasn't looking. The girl girl told me like the camera points gets all the way down the street. So like did you see her throw the bricks? >> No, >> he's in the house. Came out these bricks. >> You guys told me over here it was that did it though. >> Yeah, it was her. >> She called she said it herself like >> she did like when she was on the phone with the cops like she was like I he like I'll pay you back. Yeah, I did it scared. what do you want? Like, and I'm like, bro, it's all about >> I I'm trying to think cuz I'm trying to be a human about this. I'm trying to think, would I actually ever describe a situation and da da da da or blas blas some details if I had to tell something back, like recount something to a cop? I don't I don't think I would. I'm trying not to be too judgy cuz I don't think I would. I like to think of myself as that little girl that reported that creeper in the bathroom. When she gave those details, I was like, "That's how you that's how you tell a talk about a crime and describe an event." I hope to be like that little girl. But every time I hear d I'm like, "What do you what's the da da da? What got said?" Cuz you know what was said? What did she say? Um, yep. Art. Yes, I agree with you. the legal ones be as deadly, more deadly, and deceptive because they out there acting like it's not that bad to people than some stuff on the street. I'm with you on that. >> Paying this back is like, why did you do it in the first place? >> We're not going to charge you with the criminal damage. How's that sound? >> Okay. But we are going to charge you with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. >> Yeah. And after talking to my supervisor, we decided we're not going to charge you with that because the witnesses aren't credible anymore. >> What do you mean it? >> That's it. They're just not credible. I'm not going to get into a whole conversation about it. >> So, you don't have video at the time of the initial investigation, which very common cuz sometimes people have to retrieve it and you don't have the good witnesses. Then you can't book on that case because you don't have the elements to the crime. >> You're lucky you're not being hit with a felony for kicking that female officer in the face. >> I kicked her. >> Yes, you did. And you know you did, Ala. In this and this is ridiculous >> because I'm No, it was when you were down and kicking your feet >> because this is getting to be dollar. If I had it my way, I would slap you with the felony and ship your ass to the jail. >> You still live with your mom. >> Just be honest with me. >> Why does it matter? >> Because I have to take you home now. That car drove off and I am not drive. Stop. >> I'm walking home. >> Ala, no you are not. >> Bro, I'M NOT BEING UNDER ARREST. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR, BRO. YOU GUYS >> have is I don't see some legs in that passenger seat cuz I was going to say have your partner drive her home or is there someone she can call? Can we call Huda to come pick her up? Cuz I He's putting himself in a vulnerable position and I don't understand why we're doing this. But I would get a neutral cop. The woman didn't the woman ask the neighbor a woman cop asked the neighbor did he say anything? Get her to drive her home. This is These are bad ideas. Very bad ideas on his part. Yeah. Thank you, Omar. Yep. Because I'm like, whoever was asking that neighbor stuff, that was a woman. Too com you too comfortable. All right. I'm not saying he's doing anything wrong. I'm saying he's leaving himself vulnerable to something to be said about it, though. At minimum, if she m she sound mad she not getting charged cuz she I think she want to go uh bang on that door again. I think that's why she don't want no ride. She want to stay at that house and keep causing trouble. That's what I think. >> Follow me. I am not. >> I have the freedom to walk. I live close to you. Yes, I'm at my mom's. >> Then I will drive you home. >> I don't want to be driven. You guys can walk. >> Cuz here's the reason you are not going to walk. I'm not letting you out of my car here because you're going to go right back there and cause problems. >> I've already have a case because >> Alla, I've known you for seven years. I have a case BECAUSE OF THIS. I HAVE TWO BABIES. I'M NOT MAKING a world of myself. I ALREADY DID ENOUGH. I'M ALREADY BLESSED. I'M NOT GOING TO THE COUNTY. >> LIKE, you don't believe me? >> Why do you continue to yell at me? If you continue to yell and scream, I'm just going to get out of the car and you're going to be here longer because you don't leave until I'm done doing my paperwork. But I'm not going to sit here while you scream and yell at me. >> I I I can't finish my paperwork cuz you're screaming at me. I can walk home. >> Allah, I am not letting you out in front of this house. I will >> let me out out the street around the corner. Bro, I was like, let me I GOT TO GO TO WORK. I GOT TO DO I'M NOT COMING BACK HERE ON MY DEAD ASS DAD. That's sitting six feet under in his face. Disappointed. >> She lying on her dead daddy. That's what I just got from that. She is lying on her dead daddy. Um, so you also had to go to work apparently. No say you you said you got cases. You had a lot to do today. Got some kids that you need to transport to the other grandmother house, but you got time to stop and throw rocks. But then she not even being charged. Oh, she's It's just a ride home. I keep forgetting it's just a ride home. This >> when you're done yelling and screaming, I'll finish my paperwork. >> Get out of the car. Great move. Because the frustration was very clear and from the officer when he saw that he had his repeat customer shift subscriber Allah. As you know that I do not speak disparagingly of anyone in the video officer or suspect. But her voice and her actions were quite annoying to even the most calm person. And this officer has dealt with her for years by both of their account to protect yourself from the officer perspective. Getting out of the car and walking away was one of the wisest things that he could have done cuz she's going to eventually chill out and he doesn't have to listen to it. goes back and does his paperwork and understand not only does he have to deal with it on this call, but he might have three or four more of the same type of situation for the rest of his shift. And then guess what? As officers, we have lives where there are frustrating things in our own lives that we have to deal with. It's a very, very challenging career path to take and that is a word of caution for those who decide to enter into it. But it's also very fulfilling. And this young lady, 18 years old, and it looks like she's pregnant and has two kids already. and the charges we saw were resisting and the disordered conduct. This original video, it was viewed almost 2 million times. And it looks like in the original video, it says that they've got video evidence that she actually did break out the window and she was ultimately charged with that. I think about the kids, these three kids that this woman has, what their lives are going to end up. I hope that she makes a change and I think that the officer legitimately cared. His frustration was very apparent. And in policing, when your emotion and frustration becomes apparent, it's possible that your professionalism and your tactics and tools that you utilize can sway. Not saying that that's what happened with him, but it's a line that you have to be very careful not to cross. And this is a perfect time to segue into our giveaway for >> All right, more Sergeant Curtis coming. Texas Cannon, you would not be the first. I have had so many times people fall asleep, wake up, we still going and it's still some mess. It's still some nonsense. You will not be the first. Uh, Lovel said, "Now you see why I said she hasn't learned her lesson and will keep doing what she's been doing." I do see I do. Forever TRL said he needed to take a break. I didn't see any other cars. I wonder if the others left. I'm guessing they only have three on shift right now. He needed to switch out with somebody else. He They It didn't need to be his call. He needed to switch out. Uh I get I don't know. I I just see how people how people can uh accidentally mess up their career and he could accidentally mess up his on this one. I might sign up for the citizen ride. [laughter] That's messy, messy, messy. Probable cause can be determined at the scene of the crime. That's why the police can make a arrest due to probable cause. So, I'm not saying the other way is not correct because I I can admit I don't know everything, but probable cause is mostly the po that is the police. Like, they're the bulk of probable cause. They're the arrest. Then it gets determined if these charges are going to stick. No pro or whatever it's going to be. Um that you know, so that but yeah, cops are very involved at the probable cause stage. That's That's where the wrist jewelry comes out. Cop wasn't being a jerk. It seemed to genuinely be coming from a place of honest caring. Yeah, he he keeps his title of officer Uncle Dad. He I feel bad for him jeopardizing his own career. Not Not that in the sense of if if someone looked at this in a in a they don't know him way, third party inspector general like he was saying or in internal what is it? Internal Bureau of Investigations or No, no, no. What is what is the other one they c they have? Cuz I don't usually say inspector general for cops, but whatever that internal thing is that they have, they call it another name. If they looked at it, they don't have the empathy that maybe Sergeant Curtis would have if he looked at it and they're just like, "You were totally unprofessional. Totally unprofessional." Um, and and did something about it if she filed a formal complaint later, depending on how long she has to file a complaint. Internal affairs. Thank you. Yes, internal affairs. That's what I usually hear them call. It's just it's so much gray that he's putting himself at risk. But his personality, just looking at it, he didn't mean he didn't mean her any harm. And I definitely see him as officer Uncle Dad. Like, he really did. Like, she he's known her since she was 11 getting in trouble. This may be one of those moments where someone doesn't change and will be a mess all her life. Well, she already has three kids. Yeah, I know. Yep. again. I'm willing to not I don't even know why I keep doing this. Art, you got it. Okay, I gotta stop. I got to stop because I'mma throw myself off. I don't know how long you watch me, but I get distracted easily. Then I forget what I'mma save, which is why, you know, I have the handy dandy notebook, but then I forget to write in the handy dandy notebook. Hey, Auntie Natty. So, I'mma keep it moving. All right. Um, grown. It's another crybaby. Grown Crybaby faces off against best nononsense cop ever. So that's a little compliment from Sergeant Curtis already in the title. So this should be good. It's got a million views on this one, too. You can get cops acting the same way, but it cops from ego, which is wrong. Mhm. Imagine one day he'll deal with her and just decide to resign. [laughter] That would be hilarious forever. TRL uh you can get oh comes but it comes from ego. Got you. Got you. Ace moonshot. All right. Naturally [clears throat] be yourself. Hey. Hey naturally be yourself. I thought you were speed on speed now. I knew it. But uh yeah. Thank you for the jewels. I did say say it earlier, but thank you for the jewels you did. All right. Let's watch the next one. >> Wanted person. >> Please don't piss me off. You going to put your hands on me with a concussion? STOP. >> We've all heard the term the straw that broke the count. >> Oh no. I saw spit right away. Oh god. Hold on y'all. Oh well, you ain't got to hold on. I'm going hit play and I'm going do something in the background. >> Back. And in policing, that straw is often the car stop that we conduct. And if a person decides to deal with that frustration by yelling and screaming and resisting the officer, the result is likely going to be a tasing taken into custody and a trip down to jail. This is one of those. >> Hi. >> Hi. Hey, I'm Officer Burgon's Kyle Falls Police. The reason >> Oh, I know you guys. >> Reason I stopped you is man, that when uh when you're in a two-lane road >> and there's a bus that's that has that stop sign out, you got to stop. >> 145. >> Yeah, I'm trying to get to the gas station. So, I'm on zero. >> Do you have an ID on you? >> I I mean, I know who you are, but >> do you have an ID, man? >> I don't have an ID. >> Okay. Driving past a school bus when they have the stop signs out for me that was almost a guaranteed ticket. Kids can easily be passing through there. No excuse. And if your excuse is that you're almost out of fuel, that's definitely not an excuse. >> All right. So, the initial reason we're here is because they drove past the school bus while the stop sign was still out. All right. All right. Here we go. >> It's going to help you in most situations. The stop sign is out on the school bus. You stop. Shout out to school bus drivers. >> How y'all been doing? >> Is there any way you can like follow us to the gas station so we don't end up stranded here? if something I mean >> we're literally 100% out of gas right now. >> Okay, we'll figure it out. >> My uh I'm going to be 100% honest. My license is actually expired. >> Is it expired or susp like I said I'll forget really quickly. Um okay. So my first thing is expired license. Why wouldn't you be the most careful driver if you still want to be on the road illegally and not get caught, not get pulled over? Um, why would you at least follow the normal traffic rules? Like that should be the easiest part of the thing. At least do that because then you have to catch the attention in some kind of way. So why don't why don't they drive better? I never understand that when people don't have the things they're supposed to have, but they also then be 20 miles over the speed limit like this, not not stopping when the school bus had a stop sign out. And I just saw a crossing guard that put he basically put his life on the line cuz his car was speeding towards kids on the crosswalk. Like, yeah, it's no nothing. We're going we're going with ticket minimum. We're going with ticket. Ace, I agree with you. Oh, you haven't seen this one? I wonder who sent this one to me then. Lovable. Okay. or suspended. Trying to get her to the gas. >> Do you have a license test? >> Yeah, she does. >> Can I get your social? >> Yeah, I was stressing about the car. >> Okay. >> No, I I just ran out of gas. Hey, >> hey, I appreciate you being honest. >> Um, >> then there's no reason for me to tow the car if you have a valid license. >> You do? Okay. >> Yeah. I mean, I've been driving until literally just a couple minutes ago. So, it's it's kind of up. >> All right. >> Okay. Really good stuff here to talk about. One is the driver said, "I'm going to be honest with you. my license is expired. And the officer very astutely responded, is it expired or suspended? Very, very different. Expired can mean, I was supposed to get my license renewed yesterday and I just forgot. Suspended means that you likely committed some type of infraction. So, very, very different things, but the officer was on it. Good stuff. But let's 2020 hindsight, this whole situation from looking at this whole thing, and this is what the officer has to deal with, and that's why I want to talk about this, is that we have this young couple that was sitting in this car. It looks like it's August, so it's hot. Windows are down. They're about to run out of fuel. So, their stress level is already a little bit high. But what I like is that the officer is really understanding that this is likely a frustrating situation for them. And he knows that this car stop is going to be even more frustrating. And he's being incredibly kind and respectful as he's interacting with them. And I said that you can be kind, respectful, and tactical. And it looks like the officer is being tactical in his engagement with them. And so, even when he says there's no need to tow the car, ma'am, you have a driver license. Like, this is really, really good stuff in policing. You can always do it and be tactical. >> Wanted person. DL status invalid. >> I didn't catch a lot of that, man. What is the warrant for? >> This is Joe Wallace. FTA doc. >> Okay. >> Story called front desk and they do want them. >> Okay, cool. And then she's >> she is supposedly a valid driver. Yes, there's a kid in there. Let me double check her real quick. What I'm probably going to do is have them switch first and then once he's out of the car, I'm going to tell him. >> Okay. >> Cuz I don't want him doing anything crazy in the car with the kid. >> Yeah. >> Okay. That's Rebecca. >> Yeah, she's valid. >> Definitely want to talk about this. This is really good stuff that I'm seeing here. Okay. First off, I want to say he said FTA DOC. So FTA failure to appear. DOC disorderly conduct. So there was a failure to appear. He was supposed to show up in court for a disorderly conduct charge apparently and didn't appear. So that's why a warrant is issued under the circumstances and that's what it sounds like from the officer. He said he called the front desk and confirmed because if there is a warrant it still has to be confirmed because sometimes a warrant could still be in the system but on the back end it was taken out for whatever reason the person talked to a clerk at the judges. I mean could be a lot of reasons. Sometimes I've had warrants and they don't confirm them and at that point it's really not a warrant that you could take a person in on. But here is something that's incredibly important under the circumstance cuz it sounds like they have some history with this guy. The officer did something very cool. What he did was he has a plan. He has a plan on how he wants to do this and takes into consideration all that's going on. He says that there are kids in the car. He's going to ask them to switch so that he doesn't let on that he's going to book them on the warrant and that there doesn't cause a situation in front of the kids. And he has an additional unit there prior to doing all this so you don't have to get someone to run code to get to you. I've mentioned that so many times. He discusses his plan and he puts on gloves so he's really prepared to go into this situation because if it goes south, defense attorneys, I appreciate you watching and reaching out to me. You guys do your thing. These are the things that they look for. If it goes south, this is exactly what they're going to look for. Did he have a plan? Cuz if you don't, that's where they're going to go after you. >> Thanks. >> Police dispatch. Hey, >> Rebecca, can you hop in the driver's seat? >> You guys got two little ones? No kidding. Another really good one. He didn't say, "Driver, step back to me." He says, "Rebecca, hop in the driver seat." And this guy might think that, "Hey, maybe I'm still not necessarily going." Gets her in the driver's seat and see how it goes. And then he does the distraction of, "Oh, you got two kids." To kind of take the focus on anything about taking him into custody. Good stuff so far. >> Hey, Mr. Wallace, you don't got no knives or nothing on you. Okay. You got a warrant through Stow Municipal Court. You didn't go to court for some DOC ticket or something. So, you think you think Rebecca can post $150 for you? You think you guys got 150? >> I mean, I'm not ready. >> That was another good one. Solution base. Hey, you think Rebecca has 150? Things to get him away from freaking out about the fact that he's going cuz I believe they have history with this guy and to get him into cuffs without having to have any kind of tussle is a good effort. You mean like >> this is one of the um I see why he put in the title best nononsense cop ever because he did have a plan. They don't always have a plan and it gets escalated very quickly. This still going to escalate but that's that's up to him for not making better decisions. But um yeah, I'm with you on putting the gloves on out of sight cuz all that stuff is a trigger. Even the way that he was like, "Can y'all switch out?" Um, I I really haven't seen a cop do stuff like that before, like do all that before we start talking about you're under arrest. I don't I don't see this. I don't I honestly This might be my first, but it might be my first cuz Sergeant Curtis has pointed out. I don't know if I've seen it and just no one pointed it out before, but yeah. I I mean, this is the best you could you could do. Really? >> You're not worried how like you'll you'll be able to post it? Hey, and and Mr. W was the only reason why it'll be kind of a big deal is because it's Friday and you would want to post that. >> What time? >> What' you say? >> What time? You can post it at any time. >> You can post the bond at any time. It's $150 last I checked. 10% of 1500. >> Wait, it don't matter that it's the weekend. >> Well, you you can bond them out at any moment. What you say? >> Except Except right now. >> Yeah, except right now. Um, >> technically you have so I have to take him through the booking procedure. That way it takes the warrant away and then print out a bond paper for him. Give it to him so he can >> You should come right to the police station. >> Does it matter that he has a concussion right now and I have no idea. I don't even know when this What is this? >> It's a fail to appear on disorderly conduct. That's all. >> Okay. >> Yeah. It's nothing crazy. >> Yeah. I mean, >> I don't give a >> Well, for what it's worth, we'd rather not hold you in jail all weekend. You know, >> the temperature is now changing and the proximity of the male to the female is a challenge. This is an ideal time to get him over to the patrol car away from her cuz the energy between the two of them can cause challenges. a tactic that could potentially work, and I don't I'm not talking about this specific situation. This is this officer's call, but a tactic that I've used before that can work. Hey, let's go over to my car. Let's take a look at the computer. See if there's a way that we can expedite this process. It's fair. It's reasonable. And you get over to the patrol car and you deal with them over there. You don't have the energy back and forth with the male and the female, and you still don't necessarily know what's inside of the vehicle. Always thinking tactical. The key is getting them separated. At this point, cuz I could see the temperature has definitely changed. >> Rebecca, do you have 150? Sure. Like I'm I'm sure >> Do you want a squad? You said you have aance. >> When he says squad, I think in this jurisdiction when they say squad, I think they mean medical or ambulance. >> That means workers found right now. He's not even supposed to be driving. He literally just helped me out because the It doesn't matter. I'm literally going to run out of gas sitting here with you guys. >> Do you want an ambulance, >> Joe? I was saying that didn't know he even had a freaking job. >> When did this concussion happen? >> It don't even matter. Y'all be >> It does matter. She's bringing it up as a medical concern. Even if it is or isn't one, that's that's why she's bringing it up. Um, so it does matter. It ma it matters. Have you like been seen for it? Need to be seen for it again. Um, like they said, they'll get a ambulance for him, which is a smart thing because you can't just look at somebody like, "No, you don't have a concussion." So that's fair. Offering the ambulance is very fair because you just you don't know. You don't know. And I think it's best when you remain neutral. And somebody said it before, I think it was forever TRL, but he did say that cop did say something to the effect of like, I know who you are, but can I still have your ID? So yeah, I think this wasn't the first time they had had contact with each other. And I'm also with who said to put somebody between him and the car as only because we have seen people pull off a lot, jump back in the car. that one dude that was straight. Um, he had jumped in that woman. Well, she let him jump in the car because she knew him from high school and they looked like they was late 40s, early 50s. So, I'm like, you only knew him from high school and nothing after that? That's crazy to let that man get in your car. And then he ended up at he wasn't trying to, but he like kind of choked her out cuz he was trying to stay in the car and the cops were trying to drag him out the car. He holding on to her. Poor lady. She was okay. Thank goodness she was okay. But yeah, you got to get him away from that car. But I know they're trying to keep it real cool, calm, and collected. So, it's a risk, you know. >> Oh, and thank you for the Jewels Texas cannon for no at this point. It don't even matter. Now, you already know how I function. I've been compliant. Now, you going to piss me off >> by asking question. Please don't piss me off. >> Please don't piss me off. >> Please don't piss me off. about when it was and >> I've been complaining. >> Oh, here's this. >> Wallace, can you please put the phone down >> for what? I got to figure out my money. >> Okay, so something that we definitely have to think about. This guy's definitely starting to get more aggressive. It looks like he saw another officer off camera and he's Oh, this one. So, like it didn't seem like they had a good interaction. So, let's think about the tools. Less lethal tools that we have. Likely we have taser. Likely we have pepper spray. But from where we're at, are those going to be effective or even reasonable with the kids, which I believe that there are toddlers in the back seat and where the female is positioned. Things that we have to take into consideration. >> We'll figure it out back at the station. Okay. >> I can't figure it out at the station. >> You're getting really like excited and we're just talking to you like >> because of this guy. >> I'm getting really excited. >> He doesn't like >> I mean there doesn't I don't know why. >> I'm getting really excited. >> He was going to jail with you guys. You guys >> I'm getting really excited. That's what you're going to say to me now. >> Mr. Wallace, can we not focus on? >> Yeah, it's an observable behavior. They kept it calm. You was calm till we started talking about, do you have $150? Then she brings up the concussion, some other things. And yes, you are getting excited right now. And that is happening before everyone's eyes. And as you repeat the question, you sound like you leveled up on the question >> words. Can we just get like this objective done, which is you bonding out? We take you back. How the I about to bond out and you telling me I got to put my phone down >> cuz we'll give you a chance to call station. >> I got all my access to all the people that I need to talk to right here. >> You dumb. >> See, that's not necessary obviously. And for us that like body cams, we know most of them he's about to say when we get to the station, we'll let you turn your phone on or access your phone to get the numbers you need out of it. Like they don't cut a lot of them don't cut you off from your cell phone, but that's not a right now action most times. >> Come with you, >> man. I'm not playing this game with y'all today, man. I'm doing what the I got to do right the now. Period. >> Mr. >> So y'all going to let me do what the I got to do right now. Period. You going to put your hands on me with a concussion? Mr. Wallace, >> you going to put your hands on me with a concussion? >> You going to put your hands on me with a concussion? >> You're under arrest. >> You going to put your hands on me with a concussion? >> Mr. Wallace, you're under arrest. >> I work for the city, man. >> You going to put your hands on with a concussion? >> He can't. He's just getting really >> You going to put your hands on me with a concussion? >> We don't have money to call me to get. >> Really? >> Y'all going to put your hands on me with a concussion? >> Y play tough with me with a concussion. >> Sir, they asked if you wanted medical attention. So, it's not like they're trying to aggravate an injury if if that is what you honestly have. But now you don't if you don't want medical attention, it's time to go to that next step and we go back to the active warrant we're talking about. And I don't did they ever say suspended or they confirmed it's just an expired license cuz I don't want to put suspended on him and they didn't say he was suspended because if it was suspended and he knew it was a in a lot of states you also can get arrested for knowledge of having a suspended license. Without knowledge they don't usually some states don't arrest you for that. So, they did confirm suspended because I know he uh the cop had said a certain word not valid, invalid or something is what they had used at first. I didn't want to put the word on them. If he didn't actually say that out loud, um they were questioning it. But yeah, so possibly if it it is suspended and you have knowledge, you can get arrested for that. You already have an active warrant that they called and confirmed that it still is active and you know, not a mistake. It's it's time. And then you almost you could have hit children. We're still here from the fact that he ran past a school bus that was stopped with the stop sign out. That That's where this started from. >> None of us have even walked towards you, >> bro. >> You going to tell me I'm under arrest? And I know I'm under arrest. >> Okay, but what I'm saying is >> I know I'm under arrest. Mr. >> Telling me I'm under arrest. >> You got to comply with our orders, man. >> What the am I not complying for? What am I not complying with? >> Okay, so here's an order then. You're under arrest. Turn around. Put your hands on. >> That's the order, >> man. Y'all is like I said, >> like I said, bro, I got to figure out what I got to figure out what the >> and you'll have the opportunity. I said I'm I said I'm doing what the I'm doing. I said I'm doing >> Well, that was the order that we gave. That's the lawful order. >> Okay. So, now y'all going to tell me I'm resisting? >> Well, not yet. You're not resisting. You're just standing there. But as soon as we hand >> Hey, calm down. >> Pull your taser. >> Calm down. You're going to front of his son. >> Calm down. He's acting like this. >> Can you have this guy leave and have someone else come to him? >> Calm down. No, >> you can do that. Whyas up here? He's staying here. Mr. Wallace, put your hands behind your back. >> Leaving. He's not running from you guys. Why do you have your taser, >> Miss? Yeah. Why are we like, >> Mr. Wallace? Turn around for >> Mr. Wallace. Turn around for me. >> We're gonna do all that. >> $50. Yes, it's $150. >> I GOT $50 TO FIGURE OUT. >> OKAY, WE >> AND I JUST SAID THAT >> HOW THIS GOES. >> I JUST SAID THAT. >> YOU'RE under arrest. Okay. >> AND I JUST SAID I GOT $50 TO FIGURE OUT. Y'ALL KNOW HOW I WORKED. >> MR. WALLACE, please turn around. >> Turn around. >> Yep. Let's go ahead and traumatize the kids in the car as well. And I This could have been the most calm arrest and get it taken care of, but no, we're going to traumatize these children in the car, too. You a dog. >> Please. Okay. I'm a Can you please >> please turn around? >> IN FRONT OF MY KIDS. YOU PULLED A TASER OUT IN FRONT OF MY KID. >> TURN AROUND. >> HE PULLED A TASER OUT IN FRONT OF MY KID. >> BRO, A TASER OUT IN FRONT OF MY KID. AND IF YOU HIT WITH >> MR. WALLACE, turn around. Turn around. >> Turn around, Mr. Wallace. >> So, I want to freeze right here. I take a look at where the taser is pointed. Look at where the female is extended outside of the vehicle. Look where the male is. And I say this just because I know we have new viewers, but I went to taser instructor school. Taser is in a very effective tool. I am a fan. Three things can happen with this model of taser for sure. One is you get the male with both probes. You get the male and female with one probe each or you can get two probes on the female or you could completely miss. I guess that there are four options. But under the circumstances, the female being in the position she's in is definitely causing challenges. She is making the situation much worse. >> Turn around. >> Turn around. my hands. >> Turn around. >> Put the cuffs on. >> Turn around. >> One thing I was going to say for safety, and I know it's also like Sergeant Curtis says, is where you position your equipment. And I don't I don't know if some places are standard or you get a choice as the cop, but I need that taser to have some yellow on it cuz I didn't think that was a taser when he first pulled it. And we have definitely seen in the news where some cops was like, I thought I pulled my taser. We've heard it. I just need some yellow on that taser. Like that that that made me a little nervous when he first pulled it. I'm like, "What is that?" >> Put the cuffs on me. >> Turn around. >> Put the cuffs on me. Put them on me. >> Turn around. >> Put them on me. Put them on me. >> Put them on me. Put the cuffs on me, bro. >> Stop. You're under arrest. >> Stop. >> GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND. He did it himself. >> RADIO WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT JOSEPH. HE'S FINE. >> STAY ON THE GROUND. >> Stay on the ground. >> You just tased me in front of my son, bro. >> I'm not resisting, [screaming] bro. >> I'm not resisting, bro. >> Can we get a squad out here? >> I'M NOT RESISTING, BRO. >> We're holding this channel. >> HOW THE DID I RESIST, BRO? >> WE explained it. HOW THE RESIST, BRO? >> HOW THE RESIST? >> WE EXPLAINED IT. >> I resist. >> Hey guys, let's take >> the squad's going to take [music] those probes out of them. >> If it wasn't clear enough by the taser going flying through the air that things have gotten extraordinarily out of hand. In a moment, it's about to get significantly more dangerous. But danger takes many forms, and one of the most powerful ones is online. You see, every year, millions of people have their confidential information leaked online. And as we speak, there are possibly hund. >> Okay, sorry. Get your money, Sergeant Curtis. We're gonna jump ahead. >> It's 60% off an annual plan. >> That beat out. >> I beat the you know, >> all right, since they showed the preview, I know it's coming. If you weren't looking at your screen when the preview first started, if you are eating, snacking, have a weak stomach, which sometimes I have a weak stomach and I don't have to be eating anything, he gonna be spitting a lot. So, I'm telling you now, so you don't have to subject yourself to that visual if you know you don't want to. >> I beat the stop talking to me. >> Stop talking to me. And I got a bro. And I got And I got medical. AND I GOT MEDICAL. AND I GOT MEDICAL. AND I GOT medical left. >> And I got And I got medical. I NEED MEDICAL. >> I NEED MEDICAL. >> I need medical. >> HEY, CALL MY LAWYER. >> CALL MY CALL MY LAWYER. >> CALL my lawyer. >> Hey, I don't feel good, bro. I don't feel in there, bro. >> I don't feel good, bro. >> Hey, if he wants to stay right there, that's fine. The squad's coming >> in custody. Is because he's not inside the vehicle. So, I'm just going to say ish at this point. Some definite things to cover on this, especially with this use of force. Okay. I think I counted eight times where the officer said, "Turn around, turn around, turn around." And he was on repeat with the turnaround. And the other two officers were on either arm. Three of the times that the officer gave the command to turn around. It would have been almost impossible for the subject to turn around because we have officer on opposing arms. And I understand that sometimes you get tunnel vision under those circumstances. Something to take into mind, especially when you debrief this. The other thing that I'm noticing is when they took him into custody. So right here we can see that the taser was deployed. And you can clearly see where both probes hit the subject. One in the upper body and one in the groinish area. But it's clear that it didn't make a complete connection because there's no neuromuscular incapacitation. A lot of people don't realize that with the taser just because the probes strike there has to be NMI enough spread and the probes have to be in enough in order to lock up the body. His body wasn't locked up because you can clearly see that he attempts to pull out one of the probes. So, a lot of people probably also wonder how he was tased and the officers didn't feel the effect. And that's called cuffing under power. So, cuffing under power. You can cuff a person while they're being tased and not receive any of the shock. The as long as it's cycling between the two probes, it's going to cycle between those two probes into the person that is being tased. It looks like one of the probes probably didn't enter all the way to cause the actual effect of the taser cuz he was still moving around. It looks like the officers were able to take him down at that point. One of the things interesting is that the officer's command when he deployed the taser wasn't what I normally hear, which is taser, taser, taser to let the officers know that you're about to deploy the taser. It's not by policy in a lot of places. It's just something that is recommended many times so that officers know that you're about to deploy the taser. Some departments may have something like that as a policy, but it's just not practical in every circumstance. But I didn't hear it under this one. I was a little bit surprised actually when the taser went off. >> He has a brain injury and you just did that. >> You're getting cited for wrongful entrustment. And if you impede our investigation, you're going to GET ARRESTED. OKAY. >> FOR WHAT? >> I've been trying to figure out the charge they could charge her with this whole time. I was like, I'm going be quiet cuz I can't remember. Obstruction impeding. Got it. Cuz I was like, what would be the name of the charge cuz she definitely is doing the most. She She is making this worse. I agree with all of y'all that said that. I was trying to sit here and think obstruction. Okay. Um All right. Let's keep going. I just told you >> I am the head of protecting me as a person. >> I've called this person the chaos companion. Not this specific person. This behavior is the chaos companion. Seen it from the front seat and the back seat. Charging her under the circumstances would be very appropriate. From my training experience, her behavior also escalated the situation. >> I'm telling [music] you, I got a concussion, bro. I'm telling you, I GOT A CONCUSSION. I HEAR YOU. >> I GOT A CONCUSSION. NO, Y'ALL NOT HEARING ME, BRO. Y'ALL NOT HEARING ME. >> YOU TAKE SOMEBODY WITH A CONCUSSION. >> YOU TAKE SOMEBODY WITH A CONCUSSION, Y'ALL GETTING A LAWSUIT, BRO. Y'all getting a lawsuit, bro. >> Y'all getting a lawsuit, bro. Y'all getting a big old lawsuit, bro. >> Y'all getting a real big lawsuit, bro. You going to keep telling me what to do, bro. >> You going to keep telling me what to do, bro. You going to keep telling me what, bro. I'm beating your When I see you in the street, >> I'm be No, I'm not. No, I'm not. No, I'm not. >> NO, I'M NOT. NO, I'M NOT. NO, I'M NOT. NO, I'M NOT. >> HEY, are you guys all this? >> No, I'm not being >> He's had a concussion for this long because I I I know you and Mr. Wallace and he's had a concussion for like the last two years. >> He's had a concussion since the 16th of last month. >> Okay. Well, if he's had a concussion that bad, >> you're talking about his [ __ ] from childhood is he is in and out of the hospital. And um that [clears throat] means again he knew let's say he had this concussion. He knew he shouldn't have been driving. That could pro I'm sure that's some kind type of endangering or something too. He knew he shouldn't have been driving. You they asked him when did he have it. Nobody wanted to answer when they asked him that 15 minutes ago. But yeah, apparently y'all both know he had a concussion or has a concussion. Whatever. He shouldn't have been driving. You're not making this any better. There's no justification for this. Is this your car? Whose metal plate is that? >> That is my old plate holding up my current plate. >> And And that car is registered in mom's name. >> Yes. In Mount Vernon, Ohio. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> She She's good. >> And I'm on the insurance. Thank you. >> Okay. >> Do you have Do you have insurance with you? >> Just clarifying on my phone, but I don't >> Can you pull it up? >> No, because I don't >> Well, it's for his sake. It's for Okay. All right. Well, just make sure you tell him to bring it to court. Okay. And you're free to you're free to go. >> I'm not leaving him. You just tail brain bleed. He has to go to the hospital. >> Yeah, EMS will determine that. >> You just tased him. He has a brain bleed. >> He had a brain bleed. He wouldn't be >> Okay, so EMS is still on the way for those that have watched it before. I'm asking in a question for him. Um, so EMS hasn't come, but they deployed EMS and they're waiting for EMS to arrive to assess him. That's what I'm getting. >> Functioning like he is. But we need you to leave the scene cuz we're >> I'm not leaving until he leaves. >> We need you to leave. >> I'm not leaving until he >> You mean like until one of us take him? Is that >> until I know he's somewhere safe with the hospital? >> Right. That's where he'll be going. >> Like what do you mean? He just had an appointment two days ago. His neurology appointment is in a week and you guys are trying to tell me how >> I love you. I love you. I'm going. >> They're telling ME YOU'RE NOT >> OH, I'M GOING. >> OH, I'm going. >> I have to. >> This is Mr. uh Joseph Wallace. He's got two he's got two probes in him >> and uh he's very explosive. So, >> I have to go. >> So, you've heard me mention the term before incarceritis. It's something that people often get when they feel that they will go to the hospital as opposed to going to jail. I don't know the extent of his injuries, but it's interesting that he's able to have the cognition to say I love you, change from behavior to behavior and say that he needs to go to the hospital. It's not my call. I'm not a medical professional. I respect their decision and I would have them make decision. But in policing, many times this would be called incarceritis, >> but I think he's more >> um >> took it like a champ. >> That's fine. I don't I I'm not going to feel >> My legs are getting tired, dude. Look at them shaking. >> I definitely want to stand for a minute. I have a right to stand up. >> I'm going to lean on the car. Can I lean on the car, please? >> Can I please? >> Like, godamn, BRO. YOU GOT TO like We gave you patient. LET ME CALL the >> I I apologize. I called it too early, but it was from this um vehicle's camera where we saw the saliva. So, just sorry I called it too early. I didn't know how long it was going to take to get him in the car, but this is where the preview happened was in the back seat. >> You haven't DONE IT ONCE, >> BRO. SHUT the Shut the Bro, YOU ARE THE MOST ANNOYING COP I'VE ever seen in my goddamn life. Seriously. Seriously. Seriously. What the is your ISSUE, BRO? RETIRE. GO TO HELL. VOODOO. >> HEY, what's your first name, man? >> Joe. Hey Joe, you care if we take chicken vitals real quick. Get good blood pressure on you. >> You going to be cooperative? >> I'm cooperating now. Am I not cooperating? I'm shaking my head. >> All right, I'm just going to put it on your arm. All right. >> This guy was ready the whole time. >> I was stay ready. >> Listen to him. He's on his little >> Don't feel that adrenaline. He's such a little >> We told him two dozen times >> to turn around, put his hands behind. He was screaming. They went hands-on on both sides. He's still pulling away, not listening to him. So, I tased him. >> Okay. >> Talking about the taser again, the suspect said the taser ain't [ __ ] He said the taser ain't nothing. Basically, he said that because the taser didn't have its full effect on him. He said it ain't nothing. So, I'm hoping he doesn't think that in the future if he engages a taser that he can defeat it because the taser just either gave him just localized pain in one small area or the two probes didn't enter the body completely because the taser is the real deal. It can hurt really, really badly. And if it's an MI, your body's locked up. >> What about while you had the taser pointed on him the whole time he was compliant? The whole time he was trying TO GET $50 TOGETHER SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO SIT there all weekend. We need him. >> That was after I told him he was under arrest. >> I I I'm not playing the games. >> I'm not worried about your GAMES. IT'S ALL ON VIDEO, you little >> It is on video on this video. >> I'm not worried about that. >> No, I literally told you guys that I have stuff going on with my head. trying to >> I now am more concerned every time I see this because when I see somebody swing from anger to crying they that pendulum usually goes back to anger I get nervous now every time I see this like it it it doesn't fail. We we're we're going to swing back to anger on this one. I they already have him detained I guess you know um when he was still being examined. All you can do is get him in the back seat and get him to the station cuz >> No, you don't know. You guys don't understand. >> We may not understand, >> but we told you to do something, Joe. You got >> You guys don't understand my head. >> You guys don't understand. >> I don't I'm not in your I don't know what you're thinking. I don't know what you're doing. >> All right. >> But you got to listen to us, Joe. >> I was I wanted to. This is possible. Noir Noir said, "I have no doubt in my mind that if she didn't act a fool ride along with him, then he would be angry at her when he gets out." I could see that I could. Um, they should have made her drive off a long time ago. That's the only really thing they they could have done or now she needs to get arrested, too, cuz she really was messing up a lot of things. Um, but I could see that as a possibility, Nor, that is a good point. They should have made her drive off when when everything was confirmed she was legal to drive. She needs to go. Drive off. Go away. Go away now. Take the children. >> I wanted to I just wanted to I wanted to do it a lot easier. I wanted to hang >> in front and not in the back. I wanted that. I wasn't trying to resist. I promise. >> Well, we're not in your head, you know. We don't know you're in. >> No, it's not even about being in my head. >> We got to be safe. >> It's not about being in my head. >> Okay. >> It's not about that. >> Okay. >> I'm telling you that it's literally my >> Yeah, you're literally here. >> Kick your feet. >> No. Can you hear me out? Yes. Put your feet in while we do, sir. All right. And then like you had your hands in front of you. We saw that. But in your head like what you were thinking was, "Hey, let's do this easy. Let's just put the hands back in the front." Right. >> But from my perspective, it was you not. >> I can't even I can't even talk to my fiance. I can't do any of that. >> I can't talk to my kids or nothing. >> We'll get you back there. We'll just run through some of the paperwork. >> I think we're telling her she could come to the station right now and try to figure some stuff out. >> What? That means that I'm under deer >> till Monday at the latest. This is going to be business hours. >> You guys are giving me more charges. >> I know a lot of people are watching this and they're wondering why is he still talking to him? I mean, could he just shut the door and can they just head off to jail? Yeah, they can. Absolutely. And let me just tell you why I think they may be being this way with this guy. Because in my juris called a code five, where a person is angry and freaking out all the way to the jail and you have to advise the jail that the person is going to be difficult. They have seals and a nurse waiting to put them inside of a restraint chair and it causes a serious situation down jail. And I don't know that's why he's deescalating this guy or talking to him in this manner. Maybe that's just his personality. But the jail staff really appreciates when the patrol people don't bring in people who are all amped up. So, for whatever reason he's doing it, if it accomplishes the task, this guy calms down and they can get him booked in really easily. Remember, your best ability is availability. If you have to spend another 45 minutes dealing with this guy just to get him through the Sally port and into booking, it's definitely going to be a huge challenge. >> Doesn't mean you can >> Okay, I'm still going to be annoyed and impatient when it takes this long to get them there, but this is the first solid explanation I've heard on why they even try to take the time. Never. I never knew, but I'm still going to personally be annoyed about this. >> convicted of anything right now charged on. And then once you go to the court on Monday, you could talk to them about everything. You can talk to them. >> You don't even understand what's going on with my head right now. I literally have meds for my head right now that I'm supposed to be taking. Like I literally have headaches that I literally have. Like the medic where's the medication? >> Oh my god, dude. My [ __ ] head hurts right now. >> Is it at home or is it in the car? >> All right, I'll ask her. Okay. See if she's got some mess for you. >> See, and I know there's al there could be there's a possibility of something else going on with him. This is another thing that does annoy me, not just with him, just in general. Okay, you say you have extreme pain in your head right now. They have EMS there. They're trying to assess you. Do you want medical care? Then they say, "Is your medicine possibly in the car or is it at home?" What does he do? Not answer the question either way. So you don't want help. You just want to say things like answer some questions that actually could help you. [snorts] So, you've heard me say the term for policing, take care of the misdemeanor, and the felonies will take care of themselves. All of those things that I say, there are applications to us in our civilian personal lives. The misdemeanor taken care of here would have simply being fill up your gas tank before you end up running out of gas. then you're not going to create this urgency that in your mind you think you're justified to drive past the stop sign on a school bus. Take care of the misdemeanor in your life. You don't have to deal with the felonies going forward. Looking at the original video which is pinned, it says that the charges were obstructing official business, menacing and resisting and then the traffic charges on top and then the initial thing of running out of gas is still the thing that they had to deal with in the first place. Take care of the misdemeanor and the felonies will take care of themselves. seen so many videos of people who act in this manner where one poor choice in the beginning cascades into a series of other ones and it's usually people before they've reached a lot of maturity in life and it looks like this guy could really use some significant maturity especially being a parent. I hope that he makes some changes because life is going to continue to get tougher on him if he continues to make choices like this. Share this video with someone who you know may potentially act in this manner. Like the video, subscribe to the channel, and click on the video that's on your screen for more content just like a search warrant for this house. >> Sorry, I didn't mean to do that. All right. How this simple traffic stop led to gigantic drug bust. I I don't know what to say about that video before we go on to this one. Sorry, I just went on to the next video. Like, y'all said what need to be said. You got it. I don't know to say. Hey Le's grandma here. Let's just go to the next one. All right. Simple traffic stop. They always are simple, aren't they? Gigantic drug bus. This one looks like a older one. The way this resolution looks. >> Y'all not bringing back nothing illegal, right? >> Sorry, the camera's real clear. Why? I wonder why the thumbnail was so blurry. Maybe. Oh, maybe it was the dash cam of the car, possibly. All right, here we go. >> Hell no. Can I search car and make sure? >> No, sir. Man, you got a bunch of back here. If y'all take off running, my dog's going to bite you. Okay. >> You've heard me say many times before, crime doesn't pay. You can get away with it so many times, but the one time you get caught, it can completely turn your life around. And if you decided transporting illegal narcotics is what you want to do, and you want to do it on an Arkansas freeway. You can call it Arkansas roulette, and you're likely going to use because there's technology, there are canines, and there are hard-nosed Arkansas troopers who are out to catch you. This is one of those. >> John 4023, Tennessee, 94 East. Hey, how are you? Hey, is your who tinted your windshield? >> I want to just mention something from a tactical perspective on the approach of the vehicle. On the approach of the vehicle, full 100% attention is definitely got to be on the movements of the occupants of the vehicle. And I'm not saying that this is not what's happening with the trooper, but it creates a challenge if you're engaged verbally with a person as you're walking up to the vehicle because do you train talking on the range when you're doing tactical shooting? Just be prepared because you're making the assumption response that you get from the occupants is going to be verbal. The worst case scenario on the approach, which is one of the most dangerous parts of a car stop, is the response might not be verbal. It might be >> Oh, sorry. >> In the form of something very, very dangerous. >> Okay. Yes, he does always talk about how you approach a car. Don't be comfortable because you don't know what they got going on in their car. Ladies, grandma, I didn't read the rest of your message. I'm so sorry. Delayed at this airport in Chicago trying to get back to Florida. I am so sorry. I Oh, delayed flights. I hope I hope no more delays. Next flight that's supposed to come comes and you get home because I hate them. I hate them so much. Y'all know when I got delayed that when I went to um St. Louis for work. I have 14 hours of travel comp time. Basically, it's another form of leave. Like you get your vacation type of leave. It's another form of leave cuz they took 14 hours away from me of my life cuz of all them delays. I'm Trooper State Police. Your uh windshield can't be tinted. Anytime you're driving down the road, >> driving with them down a little bit, >> huh? >> Thought you had to roll down. >> Yeah. Anytime you're driving down the road, you got to be in the right lane. Unless you're passing cars proceeding in the same direction. That trooper was on the shoulder. You moved over behind that car. You know what I'm talking about? >> Trying to get Well, I was trying to get out of the way. >> No, I know. But whenever you move over, just don't be so close to other cars. If there's there's a second between y'all, you're way too close. Okay. You got your license on you? >> No, sir. >> You ain't got a license? >> NO. >> WHY NOT? >> I had help driving. >> Oh, okay. Do you have a license? Okay. Do you have an ID, buddy? Oh, no. But I can give you I can give you all my >> other. >> You can give me your what? >> My information. >> Your information. All right. Yeah. Come on back here. I'll get it from you. Appreciate it. >> Thank you. >> All wrote. >> Well, we know he did that on purpose because he don't have normally you don't have to get out the car just for your ID, but I know we're getting to that search area and things like that. I wonder if that's why he did it or he Oh, or a lot of the highway patrol, the state state troopers and stuff, they separate the two people in the vehicle and then they start asking you questions you don't have to answer, but most people think they got their story together. So, they start answering, "Oh, where you coming from? Where you going?" And then they ask the next person separated from you, "Where y'all coming from? Where you going? What do you do for work?" And they got two different stories because they didn't get it together. [laughter] >> Winded down. Just don't open the door. I don't want the dog to bite you. >> Hey, man. >> No, just hang stand by the door. >> Oh, hey man. >> Okay, so let's go over some things here because this is very interesting that it's unique to that I've seen in certain state troopers. He's got a dog. He's got a K9 and he says, "I don't want the dog to bite you." And there's a translation to it. He's saying that, "I have a very capable dog and if you do anything out of line, my dog is going to handle business." And I really love the way that he handled that exchange because it let the guy know and you saw how it gave the guy great pause to know that the dog was there. But here are some challenges. The trooper has the driver step out of the vehicle. No pat down. And we can see that his shorts have some bulgy things inside the pocket. Easily space enough to conceal a weapon that can be very dangerous to the trooper. And there was no pat down. And then the guy is right at passenger side window while the trooper is on his computer running his information. From a tactical perspective, this is highly, highly dangerous for the trooper because we have a subject who's not been patted down that we're conducting an investigation on. And you've seen in the videos that I've done in all my years of policing, run into a lot of different people and people who want to do bad things to officers. So, that's a challenge. >> What's your last name? >> James Jones. Jones. >> Jones. And your first name? >> James. >> And your birthday? >> 830 1992. 392. >> How old are you, man? >> 32. >> 32. Where y'all coming from? >> Oklahoma. >> There you go. Here we start. Um, I don't know if he has a partner with him that's going to ask her or if he's going to detain him and then ask her, but they usually ask the passenger, too. Where you going? Where you coming from? Where you going? Oh, what do y'all do? Just visiting. Who you visiting? You know that all kinds of stuff. >> Cool. What y'all doing out there? Vacation? No, I was my [ __ ] uncle. Old ass uncle. >> What'd he do? >> Just been getting into it with him. So, I just been back and forth. >> Oh, how long were you over there this time? >> [ __ ] Not long. Probably like what? Two days. Then we got into He old vet. So, >> yeah. >> Get the trip. >> Okay. So, here I want to discuss something. Look at how close we are in proximity. And in the area in the right bottom of the frame is where the computer is that the officer is entering the information to run the subject. Now, I'm going to tell you that the subject gave the name of James Jones. Depending on what system you run a person in, that's a very common name and a lot of different hits can come back. You really got to kind of get the information even if they give you a social. So, your attention is divided and we have a person who's not patted down. These troopers are amazing, amazing investigators and they get a lot of legal pharmaceuticals off the street. I get concerned from the tactical perspective of these unknown people that because we've seen people I've run people on my own computer they come back with all these kind of crazy warrants and what are they willing to do if you find that if all of a sudden on the trooper's computer it starts beeping it comes up as this James Jones is wanted for taking someone's life what is he willing to do and at that proximity and unpatted doubt that's my concern >> y'all not bringing back >> I was just about to ask cuz I had missed it I was going to say was he searched at all because yeah His head is in that window. I Yeah, it's a lot going on. Um, you know, well, we know nobody was I don't think anybody was hurt in this video. I haven't watched it, but I don't think anyone was hurt in this video, especially if Sergeant Curtis, I feel like he puts that in the title somewhere if it gets that bad, but yeah. Um, that again, we saw that girl shoot up the backseat of uh she was in the back seat was shooting at the back of the head of the cop cuz he didn't search her. Search. Search. Search. >> Nothing illegal, right? No or nothing. >> Hell no. Smoke. >> Well, there's a lot lot of in Oklahoma. >> Yeah. You cool? Would you be okay if I just check your car real quick? Make sure there's not a lot of lot of in the trunk or anything. >> Um I mean, what's the cause? I mean, >> I'm just asking like I just told you there's a that's a source area, you know. I'm just making sure there's not like large amounts of being trapped. I don't care about personal use. >> No. >> Okay. Can I search car make sure? Will you open the trunk for me? >> Uh, no. I'm just really trying to get back home. >> You don't want to open it for me? >> No, sir. If I don't >> Are you Are you going to let me or No. No. Okay. >> Okay. Let's talk about consent to search a vehicle. 100% you have the right to refuse consent to search a vehicle. Troopers on point with that. What I find interesting is that if you do get a yes, you have to make sure that it's a clear yes, that the person is saying yes, verbal, and it's clear. And the other thing is that there are some policies, not law, there are some policies departments where you have to get written consent to search a vehicle. So, it's really interesting here that this driver is now saying, "No, I don't want my vehicle searched." and his behavior and his responses would lead one to believe that there's likely something inside the vehicle. The investigation is starting to build up. Still not patted down. >> You don't even want to just open the trunk for me. Let me make sure there's not 100 lb back here, >> man. I wouldn't do no [ __ ] Like I don't know. I don't Hell no. I'm telling you, take my word. I wouldn't do no. I'm not on no [ __ ] Got no flip. >> So, will you open it and let me see or no? >> You don't have to. >> No, I'm just trying to get up the road, man. I'm just >> Okay. >> All right. As he said, for now, he doesn't have to because there's no reason to actually believe. You can suspect, but there's no reason to. He doesn't have no probable cause to just go ahead and search. I wonder if it's going to be, he says, well, I smell an aroma coming from the car, or is he going to do the open air sniff uh with the dog and have the dog walk around the outside of the car? I'm just waiting to see how is this going to go cuz they going to get in the trunk. We already saw that. So, we will see. But they yeah they they can't search just to search, but there's so many open-ended ways to still get around to search that there's going to be a search. >> Clark boy, you have another unit this way. >> Requested backup. Good call. >> Let me talk to her about letting you drive cuz you're not supposed to be driving. Okay. >> Go hang out by that sign up there where it says 94. >> Hey, go. Huh? What did he say? >> What did he say? said he's going to search the car or he said something that he didn't want the trooper to hear. So again, we're in this kind of interesting situation where we're figuring everything out. >> Come on out here. Okay. >> Like go stand up there by sign. >> You're good. You're good. >> Sure. >> Just go hang out up there with him. Okay. Hey, what? Hang on just a second. I just want Yeah, just grab whatever you need and you can put everything else back. >> Okay, here you go. >> I think he wants a black. >> Oh, okay. You got it for him. Okay, you're ahead of it. >> So, the trooper said he wants a black. It means a black and mild with small cigars that some people smoke. And the trooper knows that. And it's good that he understands and knows slang and lingo. So, you could tell that he's sharp as far as knowing all these different things. And I believe I covered him on another stop. And I think he's the one who guessed the pounds and the location of the illegal pharmaceuticals before the car was even searched. So you can tell that he's sharp about what he does. My challenges as far as the tactics, those are something that means his stop. He handles it the way he wants to handle it. I'm just sharing these things cuz I want young aspiring officers to know that there are other ways to do things that could potentially make you safer. >> All right, y'all go stand up there by that 94 sign, please. Okay, if you >> Huh? Oh. Oh, that's a good Oh, he done already hit. I think that dog already hit cuz it is in the trunk anyway. So, there's your open air sniff or whatever they say for the dogs when they do that cuz he's not inside the car. He ain't They ain't did nothing. They just around the car. And here you go. It's about to get searched now. at the beginning. Lovable Sergeant Curtis did say something about how that cop approached the car and was putting his head near the window like that, but I think the way he worded it, he didn't come out right and say it. He was saying, "Be tactical and you don't know what kind of greeting you're about to get," I think is how he phrased it. Oh, let's go find it. >> The first thing I want to talk about is a Supreme Court case, Florida versus Harris. It's a 2013 case, so it's not that old. And it was a 90 unanimous ruling. They said that if a K9 is trained and certified and the dog hits, alerts, that's the PC that you need. You don't have to go through an exhaustive checklist to reach a PC stand. And this is where I was saying probable cause. This is where probable cause comes in a lot on those those arrests at traffic stops, domestic calls, um trespass, you know, all those things. PC is probable cause. Cops go off of probable cause when they when they actually are trying to justify whatever, you know, arrest they're making or even detaining. I think >> the dog's trained, the dog is certified, the dog hits, you're good to go. And that was a 90 ruling. And that helped K9 searches immensely moving forward. And that's the Supreme Court, the law of the land. So there's another case, and interesting, this was an Arkansas case. It was Jackson versus state. And a trooper was testifying about an alert that his dog made in the car. And he said that there are three things. There's an alert, and an alert is something a change in behavior that the canine handler notices. Then there's a profound alert which is something that any human that if they're watching the dog as it's performing the task would notice that there's a change in the behavior of the dog. And then the third thing that he said that there are indicators and indicators are sit a stand or a lay. So those are indicators. So a profound alert is something that a non-kanine handler would notice. And if we look at this situation here as they're looking at the dog and then you see the dog making this stand and wagging his tail in this manner and not moving from that location. This is clearly what one would consider to be a profound alert. So, we have things to think about. What does a suspect do under those circumstances when they see this behavior knowing that they likely have something inside the vehicle? Do they take off and run? I'm sure that with this dog, Chaos, I believe his name is, it's not going to be a wise decision. And the question is, could they run? They could, and I think Chaos would enjoy it if they did, but they wouldn't. And it's not a wise decision. Oh gosh. Hopefully I keep both thoughts in my head. But Texas Canon, when I tell you ever since I started watching body cams, and I didn't really ride with too many people anyway, but ever since I started watching body cams, I if I do have to ride with someone, I need them. They don't have to lose as much as I lose. Like we both losing I'm trying not to say too much about myself. We're both losing credentials. We're both losing some things that both of us can't afford to lose. That's why I need you to be on that level of never would I actually have tried to do this for me to get in the car with you. I do not ride with people as much as after I watch these body cams, but I also like being able to leave when I want to leave. So, I wouldn't ride with too many people anyway. But I think about it a lot, boy. Second thing is I think that I was wondering if he has to um acknowledge the dog in that enthusiastic way at that time because to me if you don't I would think it'd be better to kind of whisper it to the dog, get the dog back in the car. Uh get them detained before you do anything else because they know they got something in that car. So I just think there should be some things we do and then now you know the dog actually did catch something. Do you have to be that loud and and and uh emotive about it? Like you I just thought you could keep it a little more um discreet if you can. I don't know how they have to acknowledge the dog when the dog uh does find something. >> He alerted the in your car. >> Oh, it was in there earlier. >> We can go back and look at that part. My time stamp is 10:35. Ace said, "Did the cop touch the car?" Like, maybe did he touch it first? Let me see. All right, here he come with the 10:35 is where we'll pick back up. But here he comes with the dog to the car. So, we'll see. >> That's a good offering. All right. It looked clean. Look like he didn't he did not touch that car. All right. Let me go back to 10:35 >> like this. Still not padded and they know that the dog hit. These are just concerns that I'm going to mention. Smell it, man. You got a bunch of back here. I told you. Just tell me. >> No, I didn't actually. There's the last guy. I think I told you just to tell me. Huh? Come on. I said there's a bunch of back there. Yeah. Come here. No, I wouldn't do this either. I would not do this. He know what he found. But I You don't know how desperate some people are when they're getting caught. Like, is this his is he already a felon? Is this gonna make it worse and he go back? Is is this a first time offense? How much does he have? I just I ain't trying to make nobody desperate. I I wouldn't say that. I'm I This is why I think And that's I It kind of sucks, too, cuz it's like when I say this, I mean everybody should get the same treatment. So, I think people should be uh detained if you are suspecting they have something. So, if you actually find something, they can't freak out on you and now your life's on the line. But you got to deal with everybody, not people you just think look dangerous. >> No, you don't go up there. I just asked you if there's a bunch of back there and you told me no, dude. I was trying. Y'all quit getting so close to me. >> You're good. You're good. I'm just saying. I mean, it's not a lot, but y'all can't y'all can't be traffic across the state. Okay. Hey, y'all have a seat on the on the road. Sit down. >> Day 21. >> Go ahead. I'm going to wrap it up here. >> I'm would love to hear the conversation between the driver and the passenger at this point. Like the trooper finds the they're still not in handcuffs. I wonder if they're like, "Are we going to shell?" And he recovers. It's interesting. >> Put your hands behind your back. I'm just going to detain you cuz I don't trust you. >> Have a seat. Okay. >> No, you ain't going to get hit. I'm just going to detain y'all. Okay. If y'all take off running, my dog's going to bite you. Okay. I'm just And I'm just telling you, if you run, it takes me a lot longer to get there. So he'll bite you till I get there. >> He's in my car. I can pop him out right now if you want to see. I'm just saying if you take off running, he's going to bite you. Hey, ma'am. I'm going to have you stand up. I'm going to have you come back here. We're going to talk for a minute. See if we can help you out. >> I ain't hurting you. I ain't even pulled yet. >> No, I know it don't hurt. >> I'm not even going to ask you about the Okay. Um, but >> okay, now this is where if he hadn't already some he needs to uh go over the Miranda rightites because she is in handcuffs. Definitely need to go over Miranda rights before you say another word to this woman. >> As of right now, you're under arrest. Okay. >> Wow. >> Cuz y'all got I'm giving you I'm going Hang on. I'm about to give you a chance to help yourself out. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be held against you in court of law. You have the right to speak with attorney. have attorney present way being questioned if you cannot afford an attorney one will be presented to you court expense. Do you understand that sir? >> Huh? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. If you decide to answer my questions, you can stop answer questions and then >> now here's the thing. I do not have him set up. So, a good defense attorney could say, could she really have understood everything he said at that speed and really really been able to uh have the chance to consider if she did want to proceed talking to him, understanding the consequences. This is why I actually do like when they read off a card and stay a little slower. Just a little bit slower. Um because this could be questioned on how he out on how he just did that. But he did do it. So I'm you know that's good. You you have to do it. >> Time to consult with an attorney. You understand that? >> Yes. >> How do you know Mr. Terry? >> Mr. Terry. >> I'm asking you straight up. I'm giving you a chance to be honest with me. How do you know Mr. Terry? >> I don't know Mr. Terry. >> Chris. Chris K. I don't know if that's Who is that? That His name is not Christian. >> I know it's not. >> You don't want to be honest? >> I don't I don't know. >> Okay. So, if I go through your phone, I'm not going to see any messages between you and Mr. Terry. >> I'm sorry. >> You cool if I check? >> I'm cool. I'm cool with you checking it. >> Serious. >> So, that car behind you wasn't with you? >> What car? Okay, so something interesting going on here and all the officers are going to know this and law enforcement people are going to know this, but sometimes there are multiple vehicles involved in this type of operation. One is a layoff vehicle or the vehicle that they want to get pulled over and then another vehicle will take off. It's interesting because this is something that's been going on for years. It's not a secret. These things go on. And it looks like that there two troopers have two vehicles stopped and they're conducting investigation to see if these two vehicles were involved. One thing that I find challenging is if we look at the positioning right here, female looking at the male, male looking at the female, if the trooper is attempting to elicit this information, sometimes her looking at the male can be intimidating. Another way of doing this, and again, it's his stop. He's incredibly effective from the things that I've seen so far. But another way of potentially doing this where you don't have that intimidation factor is having the male standing in front of the patrol vehicle looking at the camera, knees against the buddy bumper and bring the female out of earshot and the trooper can be facing towards watching the male and the females looking at the trooper facing straight ahead. Out of ear shot a lot of times that positioning is effective in getting information. And I'm not suggesting that he would have or wouldn't have gotten it here. It's just a tool for young aspiring officers to use in the future. Uh, >> I know Sergeant Curtis got to be so careful cuz he is he he got a big channel. He got to be so careful cuz he knows he knows some of these cops are seen his videos of him evaluating and talking about how they did their stop. And I think that is so crazy because he he is speaking like this cop could be watching my video right now. Let me just [laughter] But he did say also that um some some police departments use his videos for training. So, >> how do you know Mr. Terry? Huh? Terry. Chris, how do you know him? Obviously, I already know or I wouldn't ask you that straight up. Huh? I don't know. >> You don't know him? Is that what you're saying? Huh? >> I don't know. >> Okay. I gave you a chance. Come on, we'll go in the car. Yeah, I'm 10:15 21. I think it's going to be at 104, but I don't think I can prove it. Just get as much info as you can if you don't mind. >> What's your name? >> James Jones. What's What's her name? >> What's her name? >> You What's her name? Babe, did you tell them your name? What's your name? >> Christian what? >> I can't remember it. It's not in front of me. >> Christristen Springer. >> Christristen Springer. >> Springer is the female. 21. All right. Come on. So, the male's response was very evasive cuz he didn't want to say a name if she gave a different name. So, the trooper picked up on that, I'm sure. >> What did he say? He said he went to Fort Smith this morning. Uh, >> that's right. Well, he went that way this morning. >> Yeah. >> You believe him now? >> And I >> when you said their names, what' he say? >> He like He didn't even make a facial expression. He's like, "I don't know who that is." I said, "Well, they they're telling me they know everything about you. How come you don't know them?" He's like he's he was talking to his girlfriend. He's like, "Do you know these people?" >> Okay. >> And so I I don't know. I don't think he did. I don't think >> But the way he was driving, he did not want me to stop this car. >> Really? >> Yeah. Whenever we passed you, it seemed like where where are they out of us? >> West Memphis. >> That's where he's at. >> Well, hang on. >> Yes. Oh, either West Memphis or Marian. >> Yeah. >> And I saw that and I was like, "Okay, they're definitely traveling together." >> His vehicle smell like >> the whole inside the car was clean. He just had a little bit of junk in the trunk and I went through everything. >> Was he confrontational or anything? >> No. No. I when I as soon as I said, "Can I you mind if I search cuz I can smell?" No, man. I ain't got nothing in here. >> Yeah, he was comfortable cuz he knew it wasn't in that one. >> Yeah. >> So, again, this is them talking about these layoff vehicles and decoy vehicles and these vehicles that drive together and attempt to get the trooper to pull over one vehicle, but they're operating together. These investigations have been going on for years and years. It's a very common tactic. Oh. Hey. Hey. Let me be. >> Huh? >> Let me be. >> What do you mean I have to be? >> Well, you came on side road right now. Let me know. >> I wonder if they have a nickname for this. Like incarceritis for the ones that need the ambulance when they get arrested. Do they have a name for this when they always got to pee once they get arrested? Cuz Oh, do y'all remember the one? Oh, that was disgusting. I'm not going to say, but I'm just going to leave it at they always got to pee when they get arrested. Not not everybody, but that's also a common thing. >> Let me go down. >> Even though you stuck up my car. >> Yeah, man. Let me >> Did you crack your pants? >> No. This thing. Hey, let me go walk down there. >> No. >> Sheesh. >> Yeah. Hey, let me pee pee. >> No, >> I don't want to pee back here. >> No, you better not. >> I got to. >> You can hold it. You're gone. >> Oh, God. Where she going? I couldn't do it. I'd be throwing up right now. I would be throwing up. No. Ew. Ew. Oh, no. There's no way. Nope. [clears throat] Nope. Nope. >> So, this is really interesting. This happens so frequently, especially with people for DUI arrest. You've handcuffed them. They're in the car and they have to go. They were pounding deers and they have to go to the bathroom. Once a person's handcuffed, you can't unhandcuff them. There are very few options that you have except for to expedite the process and get them to jail. And then if they go to the bathroom on themselves, sometimes it becomes a situation when they have to be put inside of a cell. It's a challenge that every officer has had to deal with. And if the person that has to go number two, it's even worse. >> What the [ __ ] you doing? >> Everything go down. >> Okay. So, the original video is pinned. That's Arkansas Police. >> Oh, that's why it's a literal. Okay. It's the Arkansas Police channel. Um, let me see. Okay. So, uh, these will be linked in the description box when I get off of here. So, y'all can go back, see the originals, whatever you want to do. You know, give Sergeant Curtis a like on the videos we watched. Whatever you want to do. The links will be in there once um once we're finished. This is our last one. Last call, y'all. Last call. Sergeant Curtis. Um, it says woman bites trooper then. Oh no, I didn't read these titles. I didn't read the title. Oh, woman bites trooper then poops during traffic stop. I swear to God I I'm so mad with myself. >> I can smell alcohol inside the vehicle. Nobody's been drinking this morning, man. Deep breath. No, I'm not shooting you. This is a PP. I have it on my pants right there. I'll p you RIGHT HERE. NO. >> MOST officers will tell you that a driving while intoxicated arrests are sometimes the most difficult because people who are driving while under the influence or intoxicated will do almost anything to get out of being arrested. They'll deny drinking. They'll sometimes get violent and sometimes try to run away. But in the most extreme cases, they do incredibly disgusting things to avoid arrest. This is one of those. So when you see officers sitting like this, some people call them speed traps. A lot of times the officers have their favorite spots that they like to sit. You can get people both ways, front of the vehicle, back of the vehicle, so either side is fair game to the officer. A lot of times they're called like speed enforcement zones or stationary speed enforcement. And there are a lot of different names for them, but the two major ways when officers sitting like this is radar, which uses radio waves, and LAR, which measures light. And both are very effective. And radar can be mounted front or back. Lighter is usually handheld, but I mean there are a lot of different technologies that are out there. A lot of people don't realize that officers can get you going and coming, especially if they're sitting in the middle of the road. He approached the car differently than the last trooper. Seemed like he was more like, "Let me see what's going on first." He wasn't as comfortable as that last trooper. >> Good morning. >> Good morning, >> Trooper. Cyber State Police. No emergency, right? >> No, we're just coming from out of town. >> Going a little bit fast. I just making sure you didn't have some kind of emergency. Do you have the insurance card? The car, Lisa? The insurance? >> That's fine. >> Look it up real quick. Where you headed to? On vacation or >> We just came from all the way to Tennessee. >> Tennessee. You know you're headed back toward Tennessee now? >> No. >> Oh, you're where? Stupid. You're headed where? >> We are on our way to Tennessee, sir. >> Okay. You're on the way to Tennessee? Yeah, I have all state. >> Gotcha. Can you zoom in on the date? >> Excuse me. >> Can you zoom in on the date? The expiration date. >> Was that an avocado? Is that an avocado? >> Yeah, it is. >> Oh, it's avocado. >> First avocado I've ever seen land in the console of the car. 95 21 on a 17. Just hit driving record really good. >> Real good. I'll get you on the road. Sit tight. His approach to the vehicle very smooth approaches on the passenger side. He prints the vehicle. A lot of people ask what does printing of vehicle do? If the officer touches the vehicle, the vehicle takes off. They recover it later. Prints can be found on the vehicle if it's recovered in another location. I see this consistently with Arkansas State Police. Some other people do it as well. I see only upside in doing this because you become methodical about the safety elements that you incorporate into your stop. Then the officer did something very interesting which shows me that he's experienced. He asks about an emergency when he goes up to the vehicle, which has an excessive speed reference baked into the question without stating outright that the person was speeding. And it kind of softens it. It makes it a little bit easier when you interact with the person. And I really like how he did it. Shows experience. It shows some real investigative fluency when he's interacting with people. Just utilizing certain words. Very, very effective. >> Lisa, can you tell me? >> And that's when he said, "Do y'all have an emergency?" If she was going to pull that little nasty move, that's when she should have claimed incontinence. I gotta go. I can't hold it. That may I don't know if that would have helped cuz I don't know what's going on with her license and stuff right now. But oh, okay. Yeah, print the printing of the vehicle. That's why I asked the cop with the dog touched there. We would have had to go back further cuz I thought you meant when he had the dog um did he do it? Cuz I don't cuz he might have done it when he walked up by himself. I don't know. Just a second. Sorry. Lovable. You hate me. You hate me lovable because I read the title now. Oh my gosh. You got me lovable. I just make I can smell alcohol inside the vehicle. Nobody's been drinking this morning, have they? >> No. >> Last night? >> Nothing. Nobody's had any beer or anything? I mean, there's ice chest right there. Nobody's had anything drink at all. Right. I was just driving down the road and >> get away from that highway. >> You're coming. You're coming. Get away from that highway. You're headed to >> Tennessee, sir. >> Tennessee. You hadn't had nothing to drink. I smell a little bit of alcohol. Nothing. Sure. Let's see if Can you do this? Hands to your side. Keep your feet together. Whichever leg feels most comfortable. I want you raise it about 6 in off the ground. Keep your toe pointed toward my car. Keep your foot up. >> Toward my car. Yeah. Keep point your toe like mine is. See, it's off the ground. There you go. Keep it pointed toward my car. >> Yep. Just point it right toward my car. That up off the ground though. Okay. Keep it off the ground. There you go. Hold the tip of this tip of the pin with your eyes. Don't move your head. Okay. Are you sure you haven't had anything to drink? >> Hang on one second. Let me get this. >> So, this is not good for the driver. So, again, let's tell you the two tested. They also did onelegged stand. And if you notice, the officer also demonstrated by doing it as well, which is part of the instruction when you give it to persons to say it and to demonstrate it. And then the HGN, I've explained it before, the horizontal gaze, nice to where you're watching for an involuntary jerking of the eyes, six-point test. It was interesting, and officers will know this, is that when he said, "Are you sure you haven't had anything to drink?" A lot of times people won't open their mouths and they'll only they'll keep their mouths closed because they feel that they're emitting the smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from their breath. And interesting thing is sometimes when you get that response, it's something that you can note. I mean, is that PC? No. But it's definitely some elements that could help you say. It was interesting that when you asked every other response was they verbally responded, then when you asked that question after your investigation became more intensive, they did not open their mouth, but you still could smell it. So, it's interesting. It's an observation that you get to learn over time. on these types of car stops when a person is suspected of you. Many many times where they escalate the situation because they don't want to go to jail and they're not necessarily thinking in the right frame of mind. And one of the things that can mitigate that is if we stop them from wandering around. And we can see that through this point of the stop that the female is wandering around. And at one point it appears that the trooper is engaged in his paperwork and he had lost visual of the female. And my thing is always at the front buddy bumpers, knees against the bumper and watch them through the periphery or making sure from the computer down to your paperwork up and down you're watching them. If they move, you get them back to where they're going. Because I think she started to realize that she might be going and that's why she caused some of the challenges that she ended up causing. >> Lisa. Yes, sir. >> Back here one more time. >> Shut that door. Shut that door. Shut that door shut. >> Yes. >> Yeah. This is very scary actually. We just know it's not going to end that way. But I do have one for y'all where a cop does get pinned in between two cars. Um he's severely injured. He doesn't die, but oh, he's very much injured. Um at least one limb is lost. Uh, and I I want of course, you know, those I'll show y'all if I when I can in the evening times because I don't want to, you know, Well, I guess it technically is afternoon now, but I ain't going to show it to y'all after this stretch of what we watched. But yeah. Yeah. You do not want to be like this on a busy road and Oh, it was bad. You We'll watch it one time together at some point. >> I want this. I don't want the door getting knocked off. >> The driver's license. >> Yeah, I'll pick it. >> Can I get it? >> Sure, you can get it. I have >> I couldn't hear you. I'm sorry. >> Just put it in your pocket. >> Lisa. >> Yes, sir. >> Step back here. >> I am. >> Step back here with me. >> My driver's license. >> Just put it back in the this in the console and step back here. Lisa, step back here with me. >> I have um You have a gun in here or something? What's going on? Stand >> back here with me first. Okay. Um, >> what are you doing? >> I'm checking you. Make sure you hadn't had too much to drink. >> I have. >> Okay. Well, step back here. We'll find that out. >> Step back here, Lisa. >> Sir, you're scaring me. >> Do what? >> Step back. We're in traffic lane. We're in a traffic lane. We don't need a vehicle. Step right back here behind your vehicle. >> Right over here so we don't get hit by another car. All right. Big deep breath. Blow to this thing clicks. You'll hear it click. Audible click. All right, Rick. Big dig blow. Blow. >> What's that? >> It's a PBC portable breath test. >> Huh? >> It's a portable breath test. Big >> my keys. >> They're on top of your vehicle. >> Where? >> On top of your vehicle. >> You're a big >> No, I'm not shooting you. This is a PP. >> I have poop. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back for me. I'm going to take you to jail to test you for fur. >> I have the sir. >> Well, you'll have to wait till we get to the jail. >> I'm going to stop right here because this is a huge safety issue for both the trooper and the female because you got these vehicles that are whizzing by them. I mean, I stopped counting after a certain number. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. There's also potential department liability that we have to be careful of. And again, she's causing a lot of this, but we just have to be cognizant of the fact that when we're on that side of the street that we don't want to get hit and we don't want that person to get hit, especially if our investigation is to them being intoxicated and we don't believe that they can stand on one leg and potentially fall in one direction or the other direction. Always things to think about. And this is not to say that this trooper is doing anything wrong. These are just things that one must think about. Let me discuss the PBT really briefly. The PBT is the preliminary breath test. And [music] that is preliminary. Almost every jurisdiction that I know, you still have to do a breath test on a breathalyzer at a jail. Those PBTs in the field can be challenged. It's PC to help you move your case forward. But it's not the end all beall. You look at the PBT as PC and then you look at the breathalyzer as true evidentiary numbers that you're going to utilize in court. >> Wait, I I'm going to I have >> um Ace, what is the body cam game or game non? Hold on. Yeah, new game called body cam. What is that y'all? Just talk. Look, I had to learn about gooning. Gooning last weekend. What is the body cam game? >> [ __ ] on my pants. >> Well, you'll have I'm going to get >> No, no, no, no, no. I have to >> turn around. >> Can I have a piece of paper? >> No, ma'am. You cannot. You'll have to pull your pants up. Pull your pants up. >> I have to >> pull your pants. >> Pull your pants up. Don't step in it. >> You're making me stop. Ma'am, put your hands behind your back. >> What are you doing? I'M TAKING YOU TO >> WAIT. STOP. >> GET out of THE TRAFFIC. >> FIND YOUR BACK. >> NO. [screaming] >> GET in the vehicle. >> So, here is where it gets even more interesting because here we see that the female is now resorting to this extreme tactic of where she's going to pull her pants down and defecate in public. This sadly is not an uncommon thing. Most officers who have any time have a few poop stories and they're never fun. They're always incredibly disgusting because what are our threats? We have this resistant female who knows what she can or will do. We saw that she was extraordinarily resistant. We have another occupant in the car and we don't even know who this guy is or what degree he's going to go to try to protect this female from going to jail. We have this traffic that's whizzing by at this high speed and then we have this severe biohazard that is now potentially all over the place. And it's interesting the officer was so politely he's like don't step in it. I think he was saying it for her and because he didn't want it inside of his vehicle. But again, these are things that happen in policing that if you don't see them, you wouldn't necessarily believe them, but they happen. >> Give me some help. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind. >> You just need TO STOP. >> STOP IT. >> I'll tase you right here. >> I'm going to be ma'am. I'll tase you. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Now, this is another thing that I've mentioned before is the loose handcuff. When it's in this position is incredibly dangerous. There are documented cases of it hooking in mouth, in eyes, and even if it were to glance off a part of the human body, it's going to cause some challenges. And swinging around handcuffs is a difficult thing to deal with. One thing that can potentially mitigate having the challenge of taking a person into custody is if we know that we're going to take them into custody, they become resistant, reholstering these things. Put them back because we're never really trained to have to wrestle and fight with handcuffs. But you should because you may have to, but again, it could always get to the point where you just reholster them and then you have the dexterity of both of your hands. And then the other thing is to think about having this disgusting biohazard on your hands and having to handcuff the person. As I walk through these things, I'm going to get to a way that I think that this can go potentially differently for someone else because no one wants to have to deal with this. >> Get on the ground up. >> Yes, ma'am. But when I get you get on the ground, >> can I put my pants? >> Get on the ground. I'm going to >> get back. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> I will. Can I >> get on the ground? >> Can I please put my dance up? >> I'll put your pants up. Okay, I'll do it. >> Put >> Just a minute. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. I don't want to hurt you. >> Get on the ground. >> Okay, just a minute. I'm pulling up my pants. >> Pull them up. I'll pull them the rest way up. You get your hands up. I'll put you on the ground. >> Yes, ma'am. You're going to jail for DWI. I'm going to check >> for I just got to pull up my pants. >> That's fine. >> Stop. >> Ma'am, I will pull your pants up. Get on the ground. >> I'm just playing. >> I don't want to tase you, but I will. >> He's asking for another unit. >> Just a minute. >> He's asking for help. I have a lot. >> Ow, it hurts. I'm >> good. My pants. Hey. Oh, it hurts. I come here. >> Don't I'm going to I'm going to tase you if you don't quit. >> Okay. I'm just Wait a minute. >> No, you get on the ground now. >> I'm going to tase you. Get on the ground. We'll pull your pants up shortly. >> Pulling at my pants. Just a minute. Don't do it. Stop. Don't do it. Shoot. on the ground. >> I got to go back and see what happened. I can't look at this woman. I keep looking everywhere else. I got to see what the what scuffle was. It's disgusting cuz you know he's scuffling with her after she did what she did. Nope. Nope. Nope. Hold on. Let me get back where the scuffle. Okay, here we go. >> Ow, it hurts. I'm >> things are also at my pants. Hey, I always >> Can you come here? >> Don't I'm going to I'm going to tase you if you don't quit. >> Okay. I'm just Wait a minute. >> No, you get >> That's what I was about to say. I'm like, she should have been tased. She should have been tased when she was um more right here. She should have been tased when she when she was fighting the cuff. She should have been tased when she she had it on one wrist and was running around. She she need to be tased right here. It's a lot of times we need a taser >> on the ground now. >> I'm going to tase you. Get on the ground. We'll pull your pants up. >> Pull up my pants. Just a minute. >> Don't do it. Stop. >> Don't do it. Shoot. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Don't do it. >> I'm not. Go ahead. >> Get that. me. >> I'm not going to kill you, ma'am. I'm trying to get you to go to jail. >> Here we see the officer deploy the taser on the female and it looks like she's in front of the vehicle. We know that an infective taser deployment is going to cause NMI, neuromuscular incapacitation, to where the body locks up, the person has no control, and they're going to fall. I've covered a case, spoke to the attorneys on a case of an officer who tased a person who fell onto a highway and was subsequently run over by a vehicle. not the outcome you want. So where we tase a person is incredibly important. And I don't know exactly the moment that the officer engaged the taser. I know that it was deployed. It wasn't effective. But we have to be cautious of that. And maybe it wasn't in any sequence that she could have fallen into. It's a road. And so for me, the point of mentioning this is that I want officers to take that into consideration when they're near busy roads. That NMI, you're going to lock up the body and the person is going to fall in that direction. It's potentially in a very dangerous area if you're next to a highway. Where's my >> ma'am? Step out of the vehicle. >> Are you going to shoot me? >> No, I'm not going to shoot you. I'm taking you to jail for DWI. Get out of the vehicle. >> It's my car. >> I don't care whose car it is. >> That's fine. I got other units on the way. >> Where's >> my car? >> Yeah, I appreciate you stopping. I've got her keys. >> Thank you. >> Okay. I was wondering if he had keys. I'm like, "Oo, he should have got them keys." But he said he got the keys. She's She's She's She's um a substantial size. Um I think there was a point he could have had better control to have gotten her, but I think ever since she did the number two, he was off his game from that point on. I don't think he was, you know what I mean? Like I don't think he was operating his normal possibly capacity, you know? Ma'am, you're not driving off. You are not driving off. >> Where's my key? >> 1050. >> 1050. Carl, she got back in the car on me. I can't get her out. >> Where's my key? >> Sorry. >> I'm fine. >> Where's the key? >> I've got the key. >> Where are you? >> Do what, man? Step out of the car. >> Okay. Okay. Where's the key? >> I've got a unit that's coming. Step out of the car and do this an easy way. >> Wait, wait. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> This officer seems like he has some time on. He had the mindset to take the keys of the vehicle. In fact, she noticed that he took the keys cuz she asked where her keys were and he knew then and put his body in front of her that she was going to likely try to take off. At this point, if we have the keys and she's acting in this manner and she's inside the vehicle, then can we just take a second cuz the vehicle is not going anywhere. Go back to our vehicle control. Three Frank 15. The female's being non-compliant. She's inside the vehicle. I have the keys. Just advise my backup unit that I'm standing by at my vehicle. There's one other subject who's with me and he's being cooperative. Take a second. She's sitting in the car. You're back at your vehicle. An incredible element to this is that we call the male out of the vehicle so he doesn't get engaged in anything that we have to do to extract her. And that's the Maryland versus Wilson Supreme Court case. We will send him back to the car, get it back to our car. Sir, passenger, step back to my vehicle, take his temperature, see how he's acting, have him sit down, and we just wait. The other unit comes, and then we figure out an extraction method. Now, again, I say this all the time that I don't, it's never lost on me that I'm talking to you on YouTube in 72°, but these are the reasons why we watch this. No one wants to be wrestling around next to a highway with vehicles going 70 mph in human deficit. And I know this trooper did not want that to occur. And he handled it really well because he never became violent or brutal. I believe the moment may have taken him and take her into custody, take her into custody is what he wanted to do and he ultimately did. But we have to say at what cost and this is not to speak disparagingly of him. The purpose of this channel, you know, is educational for young inspiring officers, for other people to look at other options going forward. >> Okay, >> back here. >> Fine. >> Back there. >> Put your hands behind your back then, Sam. Hey, >> ma'am. Get on the ground. >> Stop. >> You're going to kill me. >> No, I'm not going to kill you. I want you to put your hands behind your back. >> No, I'm not going to kill you over at DWI. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You understand me? >> You're killing me. >> I'm not killing you. >> He's my weapon. >> I don't care. >> Look, >> that's fine. Put your hands behind your back. >> Wait. >> Why? I have poop on the hands. >> You do not, man. Get on. >> Yes, I do. I just took a [ __ ] >> I know. Get on the ground. >> Okay, I will. >> Get on the ground. >> Look, somebody's ran with my hat. Yeah. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Now, >> are you going to help me or not? >> Yes, I'll help you to the ground. Go. >> Wait a minute. >> No. >> This I see him. >> Get on. >> We're in America. >> What? >> We're in America. >> Yes, ma'am. We are. >> Okay. Why are you hurting me? >> Cuz you won't do what you've been told. >> I am doing what? >> No, ma'am. You're not. I told you to put your hands behind your back. >> You're hurting me. >> I know I'm going to hurt you, but get on the ground. >> I have the right to turn. >> Yes, you do. >> Okay, then let go. >> You know what I always wish? Because I This is always in the back of my mind. I don't always point it out, but it is always in the back of my mind. I always wish I could see the same officers, and sometimes we get lucky where we do get to see the same officers. Um, but I wish I could see more of the same officers with this type of action, this type of patience. I just want to see what you doing with other demographics. Are you still this patient? Cuz if this is just how you are, love it. Good on you. I I want to see what are we doing when certain demographics change cuz I I am curious about that because a bad cop is a bad cop and they're definitely going to treat people differently. But I don't I be wondering like are you just a patient cop and this is how you will be no matter what or are you patient because like she said this is America. You know what I mean? Because you know you know that's code. You know what that is? >> Oh man. All right. No ma'am. R >> help me out here would you? >> Yeah. >> How are you? >> Um put your hands behind your back right now. >> Are you the man? Go ahead. >> Come deal with the female archer. >> Man, we're not going to ask you again. >> Sit in that car right now and scoot your butt in that car right now. Scoot over. >> I don't have any shoes. >> I don't care. Scoot over. Get in the car. >> What are you doing, officer? >> I don't want to shoot I don't want to hit your leg with the door. Slide your leg over. >> I I just need to >> car. hair warrior >> in the hat ain't going to fit no more is >> and it's always it's back here too. >> Good tag one on the female trooper again for male or females long hair putting it up in a bun. We saw the resistance from this driver if that trooper had long hair. There is nothing to say that that wouldn't have been an item to grab and imagine what it would be like on that freeway and not only that but what is the biohazard that could potentially be on the hands grabbing the hair. Another thing to think about and then as we look at the officers in the frame I say this question. >> So he approves is that attack bun? Did we finally get one before we're done? Is he approving of attack bun right now? Cuz I think I saw somebody look like she got a bun. Tell me y'all, did we get one? Did we get our unicorn? >> Question. Every officer, beginning of shift, look in the mirror. Am I in the shape to be in the fight of my life? We see a female versus a much larger male. And within policy, the challenges it takes. And I'm not suggesting that this trooper is not in shape. Only the trooper or the officer can answer that question. Am I in the shape to be in the fight of my life? And that goes for everyone. be an obligation to other loved ones and to ourselves. >> Do you have a driver's license so you can drive the vehicle? >> That's how I'm going to politely ask it about these officers if I remember. Is this officer in shape enough to fight for their life? That's a that's a very nice way of putting it. I like it. >> I got a Mexican >> Mexican one. >> I live in I live in >> Are you the only one only you two in there? >> Yeah. Let me see your your Mexican ID. >> I don't have it. >> I left it in my in my house. >> I left it at home. Will you give her your name and date of birth and stuff? >> Okay. >> Don't step Don't step over there. Yeah, I'm good. If there's no driver, I'll have to call a 10-11. >> I'll have to call a code 11. There's nobody to drive. >> Do what? >> I say I'm sorry about that. >> What? What's her deal? She's been drinking. >> Oh, she been drinking. Lock it up. >> Beer. >> Just beer. Is >> she always that way? >> Is she always that way? >> What's your first name? >> Rivera. >> Rivera is your first name. Nothing illegal in the vehicle, right? Okay. No guns. >> No. >> No. That's kind of a hesitate. You hesitated a little bit. >> Is there a gun in there? >> Man, I'm sorry. You know, I like I don't know. You know, >> is this your wife or girlfriend? >> That's my girlfriend. >> Watch where you step over there. You noticed that, didn't you? >> Biodegradable. Still nice down. There's a knife over here, but I'll test it. What is that? Magnet. I don't see anything else. Do you? Those all hers. Those all hers. Make it easier. Do what? Make it easier on what? >> I don't know. She's in the back of my She's got probes in her for I tased her. So, she's going to be a handful. Lisa, step out here. Let these fellas look at those taser probes you got in you. Step on out. There you go. >> So, I don't know if you caught that, but it looked like the one trooper took the primary trooper's cover, which is smashed from when the female threw it in the road. And I think he put it next to the poop, and he took a picture with his phone. I'm going to talk about that. If that's what he did, I'm going to talk about it at the end. >> Gentlemen, thank you. And ma'am, >> taking our what? >> Taking our rest. >> Yep. I'm going to call you back and help you get around. >> All right. Yep. Might need it. >> Where are you taking me? >> Down to the Johnson County Detention Center to get you a test. >> What test? >> For DWI. Make sure you hadn't had too much to drink. >> So, what are you doing with my car? >> I'm going to have to have it towed cuz your boyfriend or your husband doesn't have a driver's license. >> Sir, do you have my purse and my phone? >> Couldn't hear you. Hang on one second. >> Do you have my purse and my phone and my for money? >> And that's my vape pin, >> officer. >> So, I want to talk about some things that I noticed from this trooper and it's really really important that I noticed that he never ever took it personally. that campaign cover that those troopers earned. I know that that is incredibly special to them. And when you see it mushed down like that, the cover was disrespected. And I know Marine Corps drill instructors that they look at their cover like, I don't think people are supposed to even touch it. And the trooper was even made it light-hearted of it that he put on his head. It's like, I don't think it's going to fit. He never took it personal. Let's go through a list of what this lady did. He's attempting to take an alleged drunk driver off the road. She physically resists him in several ways. She throws his cover and it gets smooshed. She in essence poops on him in the middle of a busy street. And after all of those things, he still never took it personally. He still treated her with respect throughout and never made fun of her. Professionalism matters. And that's how your career can last a really long time. Cuz we've seen situations where if an officer takes it personally and they let their emotion get involved, they end up doing things that they end up regretting later and no longer can wear the badge. So, think about all the things that this trooper went through and in essence, he was still able to maintain his professionalism throughout everything that we saw in the stop. And then you notice that even the troopers that came on scene, it appeared that they were just being light-hearted about the situation. I've even seen these kinds of situations where they'll go up to the new officer and say, "Hey, you got to impound that for evidence." As opposed to being angry at the person that did whatever it is that they did. And police >> I'm mad they still got to keep the DWI investigation going cuz you know when she was like, "Where are you taking me?" It was to keep testing her. I'm like, I don't What do you do? Do you like make them just put on some some gel pants, some scrubs or something when you first get there? Because we can't keep just having this spread around like this is this is disgusting. >> Is a wide array of different things that you're going to encounter. This is just one of them. And nearly every officer has a poop story. In the original video, which is pinned, I don't see all the charges and I don't have any official documentation, but we did see that the officer was investigating an initial suspected drunk driver and he's going to investigate that. I think that they may have located some pharmaceuticals in the trunk. I don't know if that was part of the investigation. I have no idea. And the other thing is we saw that she was very resistant and that may or may not have been one of the charges, but this very educational to watch something like this and I don't think that we should judge a person by the worst act that they have done in their life in this. Now, Sergeant Curtis, this is where I have to vehematly disagree for her. I'm judging the mess out of this woman. This the only way I've been introduced. First impressions, everything. I'm out. She's disgusting. She's disgusting, nasty person. I'm judging the mess out of her. Yes. Yes, we're judging. No. Say that on a different video. On this one, nope. >> Could be on her list. Hopefully, she changes her ways cuz this is not normal adult behavior. And on that note, I'd like to talk about someone who sent today's coin, which was a fascinating coin. >> Okay, I'm going to play our song, the um original, you going to jail chick. We're going to get that and then that's it y'all. We made it. Okay. I don't know what time in the morning we will be watching body cam, but what I'll try to do is we're going to guess charges if I don't have time to get the uh actual charges together and possible sentencing because yeah, I feel my energy waning a little bit there. Um, I love doing it, but I know that I'll start procrastinating if stuff starts building up in my little task list. So, yeah. [laughter] Did you Did you watch Archer? Ace Moon Smooth Shot. Do you watch Archer? I know they haven't had a new season in a while. That's my show. And then when they I think they say phrasing on there and tickles me. Tickles me so much. Okay, but yeah, here's y'all song. I'll see you tomorrow hopefully in the morning around our normal time, which is between like 9 to 10:15.
