All right, as you have seen on the thumbnail, it is trigger warning and um yeah, it does involve a principal harming a student. So, uh trigger warning, trigger warning. Okay, so first, so this is the principle here on and we are going to watch the body cam of the police officers. I want to start off with the article first to give background so then when we're watching it, we're kind of know what we're going into. Um, and I'm just going to say I am so disappointed in the adults at this school. Obviously, the principal that did the act, but the ones that were willing to cover up what seemed like some of his past and things, I'm just so disappointed. Okay, so here's the article. So May 15, 2024 at 2:58 in the morning, an article came out and it said, "School principal arrested for allegedly choking student, whipping him with charging cable and slapping the child in the face." And it says, "A school principal has been arrested on charges of aggravated child AB use and false imprisonment of a child under 13 years of age after allegedly physically attacking and detaining a student against their will for over an hour." Police said the incident occurred last Friday at Destiny Leadership Academy, a private school in Ocala, Florida, when authorities from the Marian County Sheriff's Office responded to to a call regarding a physical disturbance between a student and the principal Dante Ake Profett, who was 33 at the time. According to a statement from the Marian County Sheriff's Office detailing the altercation, it says, "During the investigation, surveillance footage from the classroom was obtained, revealing profit preventing the child from leaving the room for over 40 minutes." Authorities said surveillance footage captured him grabbing the victim, restraining him on the ground, and employing a chokeold. Prophet can be seen on camera using a charging cable to strike the child, causing the child to fall and sustain in injuries. Additionally, Prophet twisted the child's ankle, slapped the child in the face, and subjected him to further physical abuse. Um, I don't know if they didn't mention the other thing he's doing on the camera. So, um, but the police officer on the body cam will mention that. So, y'all will hear that when the police officer says that cuz the article is not listing everything. Then it says, "Prophet told police that the altercation was an attempt to prevent the child from harming themselves. However, the evidence obtained by police in the course of their investigation clearly contradicted this assertion. Profit was subsequently arrested and transported to the Marian County Jail where he he at the time he was being held without bond. The identity, condition, and age of the child were not released by authorities and the investigation into what caused the incident in the first place is currently ongoing. I will have an update [clears throat] for you as well as I think the end of the video has an update, but I I just brace yourselves. All right, here we go. >> But there's a security camera in that room. >> Yeah. And it caught everything on camera. >> You don't think he was pregnant with me? >> Oh, no. Ma'am, he's going to jail tonight. >> Police are called to a small private school in Ocala, Florida after the principal is accused of trapping a fifth grade student in a room and assaulting him for nearly an hour. The following report is based on police records and most of the footage has never been seen before until now. Please note that the suspect in question and all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. >> How you doing, sir? God bless you. >> How you doing? Do you know why I'm here? >> Yes. We had called because we just got a report that one of that our principal mishandle one of our kids today. >> Your principal did? >> Yes. Do you have a video of it? >> Yes. >> Yes, they have a video of it. That's the executive principle right now. >> We have a video of it, but the person who can pull it up is on their way maybe about 30 minutes before they can get here. >> Are you the one that called 911? >> She called 911. She's our pastor. I'm the founder of She's the founder of the school. Destiny Leadership Academy is a Christian school started by Lily Tugerson, known as Apostle Te to her congregants at Ammerse, the Pentecostal church nearby. It's clear immediately that the line between school employees and church followers is somewhat blurry. >> Now, we haven't talked to the parent. >> The parent doesn't know. >> I don't know. >> We are not sure. She hasn't called us, >> but we haven't talked to them. >> When did you get find out about this? >> I found out about it about 6 or 7:00 this evening. The teacher called me >> and that's and she came to the church and told me about it and I told her we going to call the sheriff's department right now. >> Neither the child nor the principal himself are still on campus leaving the police with only names and descriptions at this point. >> His name is Donnie Prophet. >> His last name is Prophet. >> Yes believe he would do something like that. >> So right now she says she can't believe he would do something like that. But later the police find out that they knew about other things in his past. >> How old is the kid? >> I think he's like in the fifth grade. >> Do you know where it took place at? >> Um Dr. W. She knows. >> Is this a school? >> Yes. >> Oh, >> this is a school. >> I don't you know I didn't I didn't talk to brother prophet about it. I mean, he's a a member of of our church, too. >> Mhm. >> So, I didn't talk to him and I didn't call the parent yet. >> It'll be some time before the school secretary arrives with the surveillance video, but Dr. Vai, Destiny's executive principal, has already seen the footage, and even her description of it sounds appalling. >> And in that video, what did you see? >> I saw the principal in severe physical confrontation with the student. And what did what physical did you see? >> I saw um I saw him throw the kid on the floor at one point. >> What do you mean by throw? Did he pick him up? Did he push him? >> I saw a sling. >> He slinged him like that. >> Yes. And then at one point at one point he was on top of the kid. >> As horrifying as these details sound, the deputy seems to wonder if something precipitated the confrontation. >> Did the kid do anything to invoke this to lead up to this? Oh, >> did the kid strike him? Did he Was he Did they have problems in the past? >> They had problems in the past. >> They've had problems in the past. >> They've been best friends. >> So, this is an ongoing issue, >> I think. So, >> okay. >> And [snorts] it's not >> But what led That's what I'm trying to figure out. What did he was just in in anger rage, so he took it on the kid? >> My understanding that he called the kids in because they're the leaders and said that in order for you to graduate, you got to write a fivepage essay. >> I think he said he was not going to do it. He didn't understand why they would have to do that. And so the kid is in the video. He he put his head down on the desk. >> And so from that point, I think the principal is trying to make the kid do what he said. >> As the deputies step out to discuss the case, one of them gets the first inkling that something is off. A feeling that will only grow in the coming hours. >> Well, this sounds like an aggravated child abuse. >> This sounds like a headlines case. principal of Destiny leadership county arrest for agreement child abuse >> and he's right this definitely made national news when I was looking updates uh of course the local news got the headline then national news got it uh people had put out an article about it so you know those are the ones that make it past the town so he is not he was not wrong about that and if you do not like interruptions and commentary with videos the link will be in the description box to go straight to the This happened like 2:00 this afternoon. The kid went home. She told me he's lumped up pretty bad. The parent didn't see this. Parent didn't see the marks on this kid's face. That's what I'm That's little That's a little weird. And then they waited to the secretary and the teacher waited till 30 minutes ago to finally tell them about, "Oh yeah, by the way, you should know about this." >> The deputies run Dante Profett's name through their system, but this standard scan returns a shocking result. Hm. Can you imagine? He's a suspect >> in another case. >> Just got arrested last year. >> He got arrested on a warrant last year. >> He got arrested on a warrant and he's >> see a black. >> He got arrested for a probation violation, felony, one count attempt to commit interfering with child custody. >> As stunning as this revelation is, the deputy soon realizes that he hasn't seen the worst of it. >> Lude and lascivious molestation. >> You're joking. >> Swear. >> 10:15. >> Yeah. I bet. >> So they have this school employed an adult that was arrested for LWD and lascivious molestation. And were they aware of it? Of course they were aware of it. And you'll see the excuse they give on why they still looked past it. And this is why there are so many adults that miners can't trust to make better decisions because there's always excuses to be made by other adults. >> They don't know that. I can't wait to tell them. >> As eager as the police are to share these details with the school's administrators, the reaction they get is nearly as surprising as the news itself. >> Question. >> Do you guys do screening before you do a hiring process? >> We do. >> Yes, we do. Do you? >> Yes. >> Well, I just looked up Dante and >> Yes. I know. We never >> Do you know of his the serious charges that he has against him? >> He's been arrested twice on American County alone. >> One for molestation. >> We didn't check any other count. >> Child molestation. >> Okay. That's >> Are you kidding me? They said, "Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Basically, we know that one." Are you kidding me? Of course you're not. Because unfortunately, these remind me of adults that I can think of way too close to home. Of course. Of course. They're like, "Oh, yeah. Yeah, not that one." Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Yeah. We knew about that one. Thought it was something else. Lord, thank you, Hill 75, for your super chat. I definitely appreciate it. Um, again, this one's a heavy one. So, um, yeah, I appreciate it. And thank y'all for submitting it cuz it is one that I want to go over, but it's a hard one. the more you hear and the more like y'all. We'll just keep going. But I I can and can't believe the adults in this video because of course they're around. They're the ones that enable predators and and the deputies keep trying to talk to them like cuz they're not understanding how this doesn't make sense to these people. >> Well, he got arrested for it. >> Yeah. >> And then the other one is interference of child custody felony. >> Is what? Interference of child custody felony. >> What is that? >> Basically means that a parent or a guardian said, "Give me my kid." He said, "I'm not giving you the kid." >> Yeah. He refused to give somebody's kids back. So that means he took somebody's kid or a kid went with him somewhere to his house or something and he refused to return the kid after the kid was put him missing. Someone a kid that's not his. >> He's very protective. >> The re she just said, "Yeah, he's very protective. cuz he didn't release a child. He's very protective. He has a molestation arrest. Oh, but he's very protective. I I feel like there should have been some accompanying charges for at least her over here. Apostle T, I think is her name. Lily Tugerson. Apostle T. I think that's the one sitting on the right. I feel like we should have had some accompanying charges over here. >> That school officials already knew about some of Dante's history is astonishing. and the deputy tries to make them understand the potential problem they have on their hands. >> I'm sure your parents don't want to find out that you got a >> hello >> guy principal at your school that has molestation charges and interference child. >> A lot of them know him though. >> Okay. >> Personally, >> yes, >> I got you. I mean, if I had a child and I found out my principal of my children's school, >> I'd be freaking out, >> right? >> He um he knows a lot on me. very personable. This part I didn't know about and so the accusation came but he mentor like teenage uh boys and stuff and help them finish their their high school >> and help them go to college. >> Predators will do something good to throw off the scent of them just because possibly he has to help somebody go to college. He should not be around kids. The There's no telling when he mentors all that one-on-one time he's getting and and he's got the halo effect going that no one's watching the other behavior, but they had the warning because his background popped up with the warning of what he is, but they're like, "Oh, but he he helps that those kids could have went to college without the trauma because there's other ways to still get in college." This is this mentality is so dangerous. All of that. >> The deputy's frustration is mounting, but it seems that school officials have already dealt with some of these concerns. >> That's the same thing that anybody can have access to if they pull up his name right, they should be able to see that. >> Yeah. >> But some because a parent or two, you know, had mentioned it, but they were still because he had done such a good job last year, they were still willing to stand behind him. And >> all right, both of them both of them get charges. That's Dr. divide the executive principle that just said some parents had pulled it up and they had questions and they was okay with it cuz y'all was okay with it and then some parents don't know, you know, because they expect the schools to have done their due diligence. But of course, why why would they why would they have? So they have these some unsuspecting parents have had their kids subjected to a known predator that these people knew about. And you have some parents that I guess they knew and they I I don't understand how you would still put your child around this knowing it. It's a private school, too. So that means they're paying for their children to go here. In my opinion, that's what that that's what that means, right? There's usually a tuition that goes with private school. Um so your child does not have to go here. I know. >> He was not on his fence. That's what I'm going to say. >> I didn't know he took meds. >> Yes, he does. >> What does he take meds for? >> Hyper whatever age. >> Oh, ADHD. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> ADHD. I might be kissed. >> Period. I'm sorry. I have so much right now with this. The deputies are the only ones that make me believe that right now there's still some some people with sense that that when things happen to kids, the deputy or the officer said, "I've got ADHD. I'm not beating kids." Right? Because just cuz he's on nobody cares what medication he's on, what they got to do with you laying hands on kids and laying hands on kids for physical violence and molestation. This video is definitely not going to be monetized now. I can already tell cuz I'm using all the words. I am so upset, but it is what it is. Um, and they're just they are like who said I think Leia's grandma said they're just so nonchalant. They're just like, you know, oh uh well with the kids that he, you know, helped graduate and they go to college. Have you not seen that Olympic coach that was um molesting all those gymnasts? Just because they were still gold medalists and they made it to the Olympics doesn't mean that he's good because they still made it to the Olympics. Like that's not one to do with the other. It could have been someone that wasn't touching on them and they still would have made it to the Olympics without the trauma. Like, what are y'all talking about? And this is how people in the family get protected. They probably got some child predators in their family, too. They're protecting cuz he got a good job or she got a good job or blah blah blah. So, we're going to overlook it. >> What you said? >> I said, I can't get I'm not beating kids. The deputy steps aside once again to let his superior know about his accumulating suspicions. >> And the the owner and the head person here all know about his problems and they're nervous as hell right now because they realize they know if when I watch this video and it shows what they're saying to me, I'm going to have to go arrest them. But my thing is they're saying the kids all welted up and stuff like that. The teacher knew about it. The teacher didn't say jack until later tonight when she was confronted about it. Yeah. So, I think it's it it was a little hush hush job going on here because uh they have already admitted to me that a couple parents have came forward to them about, hey, what's up with this dude? We looked into him and they're kind of like hushing them down like, oh no, it's nothing. I think these people know that they're probably in for a lawsuit because they're acting real nervous. >> Oh, no. They're not even thinking about the lawsuit because predators are are protected in this community. They're not thinking about a lawsuit. They might be nervous cuz y'all standing there right now, but they ain't think they ain't the lawsuit part they thinking about. I'm I'm sorry that and for me that's not what they were that's not why if they even seemed a little nervous they were nervous. Um I forgot to mention that they said that the child would have gone home with many visible injuries and they were wondering why the mom didn't notice like when she got her son for that day not notice like there's a lot of marks on my child. So, I'm also we're waiting for that for when they call the mom as well. Um, I still have questions. There's some things I appreciate her saying to her son at that moment, but I have questions about if the police had not called that night, did you not notice injuries on your child? >> They're like, "Oh, yeah. We we knew about his past, but uh the parents still rubbed him." I go, "Okay." The deputies know about the charges on Dante's record, but it's only when they pull up the official filing that they begin to piece together specifics about what the principal was arrested for 7 years ago. >> Summer of 2017 while staying at the Royal Kids Camp where Prophet was camp counselor. >> We're definitely going to read the text on the screen. Thank you explore with us uh for putting some of the document text on the screen, but it says actual case file excerpt. first met Prophet during the summer of 2017 while attending the redacted where Prophet was a camp counselor. Advised his guardians filled out a form for the camp allowing the counselors to contact him if necessary. He said Prophet contacted him for the first time on July 27th, 2017 and asked if he'd like to go to the Ocala Grand Prix with himself and his nephew. Prophet Met redacted and >> Yep. the camp allowing counselor to contact him if necessary. He said pro contacted him for the first time >> himself and his nephew. >> According to the Ocala Police Department report, Dante gave letters to the child at the end of camp. >> Let's read the letter. I think you are the coolest kid. This is this is this this nasty ninja writing. I think you are the coolest kid. The coolest. I love your attitude. Once again, a kid taught me everything I need to know about life. That is to smile no matter what. Thank you for spreading that winner. That win Winnie or Willie the Pooh joy. I made memories, but I made a friend. We laughed, played, and enriched each other's lives. You are special. You know you have your RFK family and me cheering you on every day. I will always have a great interest in your I'm going to say it probably says destiny uh wherever God takes you. Always trust in the Lord. If you ever forget how awesome you are, go back and read this. I want you to know if no one never tell you they love you, know that I love you and I always will. This is the called God wants for all with love. Donnie look predator letter plus this ninja's illiterate. HE CAN'T EVEN WRITE. WHY IS HE A PR WHY IS HE A PRINCIPAL AT a school? I don't care how small it is. I don't care. There's a certain level of education. How exactly did he help these kids get into college? Did he just go and look up how to do it and just help them do it? Because he can't write. He This man cannot write. His grammar is horrible. He's using words that don't go right in the sentence. And I'm saying that because he is a principal at this school. I'm not going to bash somebody if they're just an adult making it through the world and they didn't get the best education. That's not that's that's fine. But you are a predator. You are you are a predator principal. You're illiterate and you're targeting kids. And so what is the excuse again for keeping him? Stop it. Writing in part, you know that I love you and I always will. Dante kept in touch with the child over the coming months, inviting him to his apartment to watch a movie in Nove. >> Y'all know I got I'm sorry. Okay, I'm trying. Let me see because it continues. Okay. Um I'mma stop where we stop reading where it had it. Prophet met Redacted and his guardian Redacted at a doctor's office and Redacted left with him to the Ocala Grand Prix. Prophet contacted redacted again August 2017 and he went alone with Prophet to his classroom because he's a mentor at um somewhere middle school to assist him in setting up his classroom for the following school year. Prophet contacted Redacted again in September 2017 to hang out at the Ocala Mall to which they did. Prophet contacted Redacted once more in November 2017 and asked if he'd like to watch a movie with him. Redacted stated he would watch a movie with him and they could watch the movie at the movie theater or his classroom if he did not want to pay for the movie. Prophet offered to let Redacted come to his apartment to watch the movie because he has a bigger television than what is in the classroom. Redacted stated he preferred to watch the movie at either of the other two locations. Prophet insisted on watching the movie at his apartment. Redacted finally agreed to watch the movie there. Oh, and I also, before I forget, want to point out that he used he used God, love, all that stuff to groom that little kid. I just want to point that out. But Prophet picked Redact up from his residence that evening and they went to his apartment to watch the movie. Redacted and Prophet were at the apartment alone. Redacted was on the couch positioned on the west wall of the living room by himself. Prophet was on the couch positioned caddy corner in the northwest corner of the living room. Redacted asked Prophet several times if his guardians called or texted yet for him to return home because Redacted does not have a phone of his own. Prophet told him they have yet to contact him. Redacted laid down on the couch to watch the movie. A while later, Prophet stood up and laid behind Redacted on the same couch. This made Redacted uncomfortable. After a couple minutes, prophet stated, "Do you feel that?" Redacted stated he felt prophet blank touch his buttocks but did not say anything to him. There was no penetration and they were both fully clothed. Redacted sat up and asked if his guardians called yet while the phone was on the coffee table vibrating. Prophet answered the phone and apologized for not answering the first time giving the excuse of because he fell asleep. Prophet ad advised Redacted he had to take him home. While in the car on route to Redact's home, Prophet kept telling Redacted sorry. Redacted asked Prophet if he has ever done this before and he stated yes to one other student. Redacted did not know the identity of the other student. Redacted stared out the vehicle's window the rest of the ride home and did not speak to Prophet the rest of the way. This was the first and only time Prophet touched Redacted inappropriately. Redacted did not tell anyone about this incident. Redacted was interviewed at Kimberly Center for Children and was consistent in his disclosure. >> 2017. The report alleges that Dante laid down behind the minor on the couch and asked him, "Do you feel that?" when there was inappropriate contact. According to the report, both the victim and Dante were clothed at the time. >> Awesome. And he's not a registered sex? No, I think he was too young. I think it was fell on a Romeo and Juliet. >> Oh, his age? >> Yeah. >> Oh, >> at the time he fell on a Romeo in Juliet, which just means he doesn't have to register as a sex offender. >> Under Florida's Romeo and Juliet law, offenders who meet certain criteria can avoid the official offender registry, even if they're convicted of the underlying crime. It should be noted, however, that in Dante's case, prosecutors dropped the molestation charge entirely, and the court withheld adjudication on the charge of interfering with child custody. His profit organization website credits him with having faced and overcome false charges. >> So, you got Well, he's not getting lucky tonight, I promise. >> The surveillance video will undoubtedly be crucial to the investigation, but the deputies know they must also speak to the victim. The founder of the school calls the child's mom and passes her phone to the deputy. A decision she may soon regret. >> Hey, you want me to talk to him? >> The sheriff want to talk to you? >> Hello, ma'am. How are you? >> Hello, sir. How you doing? >> Hey, do you mind bringing your son up here so we could talk to you guys cuz we're going to have to talk to him regardless. >> I understand. Um, I'm just a little taken a back right now trying to get my bears cuz I was almost asleep myself. >> Yes, ma'am. So, I'm supposed to wake my son up and bring him out there? >> Yes, ma'am. >> So, this is what concerned me about the mom. I told y'all she I'm trying to keep my voice a little low. Sorry about the echoing earlier. Um, the mom did not notice the injuries on her child. He also probably was not moving the same because he was thrown around in that room. He was beat with a cable. He was, you know, all these things. And then when they the police are calling you asking you to come back to the school. It's I don't I know it's night time. I know you're tired, but do your alarm bells not go off that the police want you to bring your child back to the school? >> Have you noticed any bruising or lumps or anything on your son's face or body or anything? >> He felt like Mr. Prophet hit him with something. I said, I don't know if they was force playing. >> I don't know. But I'm like, what are you talking about? you know. >> Oh, I didn't. And I missed that my first watch. So, the child tried to start telling her that that man beat on him. So, you're like, I got to get back up to this go to this school cuz the police are calling me. Your child's already said that Mr. Prophet didn't hurt him. Hinted because children need trust. And you see, cuz she's going to mention something about I thought it was growing pains or something later. I I don't understand these people. I mean, >> the mom ultimately agrees to bring him up to the school. But as the deputy hands the pastor's phone back, he notices something alarming in her recent call history. >> Did you call Donnie Profit? >> Yes, I did. >> Why? >> Why I called? >> Yeah. Don't Why' you call Did you talk to him on the phone? >> No. >> Don't call him back. >> Don't call him. >> And if he calls you back, if he calls you back, don't tell him we're here. Don't tell him he's under investigation. Don't ask him about what happened. >> Do not call him, please. These are very serious charges. >> Yeah. We want to get our ducks in a row before we talk to him before he has a has time to put a story together in his head about what happened. >> Or Lee Town. >> Yeah. >> Realizing. So this this woman Lily Tugerson Apostle T before she called that kid's mom had tried to call and probably did connect the call to Donnie the principal that's over here molesting kids and now beating on kids. She called him to try to warn him after all she's seen on the video after what they've seen on the background. She tried to warn him >> that the school's other top official, Dr. Vi, has disappeared from view. The deputies track her down to make sure she's not also trying to reach out to Dante. >> Ma'am, >> okay. >> Oh, she called him police and I saw that it wasn't a mis call either. It was answered cuz I saw the seconds next to it. Did you? >> Yeah. >> She probably called him and warned him. Have you tried to call Donnie? >> Apostle did. >> I know. Did you? >> Yeah. >> Did you talk to him? >> No, he didn't answer. >> Okay, good. >> Yeah, we can't have people calling him. >> Pardon? >> So, we can't have people calling him. >> You don't want people calling him? >> No. He's got a history of running. >> While the officer mentions about Dante's history of running, we haven't been able to confirm the basis of this statement from the records we have access to. Before police can think about tracking Dante down, however, they need the full story. The fifth grade victim arrives, giving them their first chance to hear about the incident firsthand. >> So, what happened today, man? What happened between you and Mr. uh Mr. Prophet? >> The boy begins with a story that matches what Dr. Vice said earlier. He was pulled from class along with a few other fifth grade boys. Soon enough, however, the other boys were sent away and he was left alone in the room with the principal. I didn't want to be in the room at that time. Mhm. >> So, I couldn't even excuse myself because [clears throat] he wouldn't even let me go through the door. >> Did he ever throw you on the ground? >> He did hit me on the ground. >> He did hit you. What? >> And I don't think like about >> Where did he hit you? >> Well, the thing that hurts the most is the side of my >> Can I see your hip? >> Yeah, right here. >> Like it's right here. >> Show me it. You're okay. You're outside. I got you. I'm right here. Right there. Show me. He wants you to see. He wants to see. >> It was like a line, a big blind bump. >> And she was like, >> it looked like you got hit hard. I'm like, "Oh, that's how I probably hit me with that um computer cord thing." >> Yeah. >> The child's mother says that she first heard something about the altercation during a doctor's appointment. No, he the apostle is that woman that tried to call him. His last name happens to be prophet, but the apostle is Apostle T. Lily Tugerson. That's the woman with the bob wig that uh tried when the when the officer gave her her phone back, he saw her call history and that she had called him to most likely warn him that the police were there. Um, the mom I don't see. Now I'm watching this a second time. Now I just feel like the mom's performing because I didn't know the little boy tried to tell her about the um the dude trying to be rough with him. And also again I told you I don't understand how she didn't see any marks, the ones on his face at least. But he actually tried to talk to her about this this man beating up on him. So now it's all tell them what you know. But but you just asked that police did you have to get up out your bed for your son to come see them, but you you saw signs >> this afternoon. >> He told the doctor like, "What do you do about all over body pain?" >> Mhm. >> I'm like, "What are you talking about?" >> Mhm. >> You know, he goes, "Well, you know, just all over body pain. Like really, it hurts here and hurt his hips." >> Yeah. He said, >> he told the doctor that. >> He told the doctor on the television. He said he said >> Oh, it was a tele visit. >> Yeah, it was a tele visit. He She was like I said, "Well, maybe it's growing pains, you know, cuz he's getting tall." >> Do you need anything else to tell us, buddy? Did he Did he touch you? >> Listen to me. Watch me. Look at mama. You are safe. >> Mhm. Oh, I'm I'm going to I'm make sure of that, Bubba. I'm promise you that. >> You are safe and I will protect you with everything. If there's something you need to say, you need to say it. We will take it and we will do what we have to do to make sure everything is right. Okay. Did Mr. Prophet touch you in any way that is not appropriate? >> No, no. >> Are you sure? >> Yes. >> What did or didn't happen today will soon be clear because the secretary finally arrives with her computer. And it won't be long before the police realize that this incident was far worse than the descriptions made it sound. >> Is the video on your laptop? >> Multiple today. I don't need to see it. I know what you need. >> The video begins with Dante standing across from the boy who has his head down on the desk. The principal gets up and walks over to the boy and begins proddding him, perhaps in an attempt to get his attention. But it isn't long before these antagonizing taunts spiral into something much more chaotic, and the situation soon escalates from chair wrestling into a full-fledged struggle for control. The child is clearly desperate to escape the principal's grasp. But Dante is equally determined to keep the boy under his power. In an almost unbelievable scene, Dante wrestles the boy to the floor and straddles him. But even after getting the boy under his control, Dante continues to behave in a way that alarms the deputy. >> Why is he petting him like that? >> Why is he what? Patting him like that. >> He's rubbing. This is where and the little boy may not even remember because he just remembers the pain more than this moment. But the Dante, the supposed principal, is right now inappropriately touching him. Not just the physical abuse, not just the the hitting and all and the choking. He's touching him in an inappropriate way right now. And these people are just whatever. his lower back and the head makes sense for his other charges. >> Chokeold. >> And the the police said it makes sense about the other charges. And remember one of the other charges was molestation. >> Broke out the choke. He's trying to get him cold. >> You should probably watch this. >> Sorry. >> I said you probably should watch this. >> Yeah, you should. >> See what kind of guy you got working around the kids. Remarkably, the altercation is interrupted several times over the course of the video. You have to see where he's on the surface being aggressive. The kid doesn't have a chance. He's aggressive, man. >> Um, before we continue, I do want to say this just because I don't want to forget. Um, I'm not disagreeing that these people have cultlike behavior, but almost using the word cult separates from how close to home this this is in my opinion. And unfortunately to me, this is just church adult predatory behavior. It doesn't even have to be related to a cult or anything. This is just predatory adults that use religion to then molest children. That's that's [clears throat] what this is. Like it they may also have some type of control over some of the people and they may be in some type of a cult but but but this behavior is just predatory adult that happens to be a part of a church and they'll use some religion to kind of you know influence use power and stuff like that. But I yeah I just don't want it to be so separated because a lot of people be like well I'm not in a cult. But a lot of us unfortunately have been around or are around predatory adults that reside in a church or religious um you know uh organization >> or text me your notes with her info. >> No. Who's this kid? >> That's one of her kids. And where did she go in? >> No idea. >> Did she say I don't even know? >> He probably told her. At one point, the boy sees an opportunity to escape that he can't pass up, leading to one of the videos most shocking moments. >> Look at that. Look at that. Look at that. Oh, there it is. >> He tried to leave and he just threw him on the ground. >> I mean, it's >> false imprisonment. >> But although the visuals from the video are hard to watch, they aren't compelling for everyone in the room. >> So, you don't think he was pregnant with >> playing? >> Oh, no. Ma'am, he's going to jail tonight. goes over and out. >> At times, Dante's movements are slow and methodical, and the camera catches it when he slings a computer cord of some kind at the boy several times. The child later said that it was this cord that caused a visible mark on his face. >> I think we got it. >> But for as much as the deputies have already seen, the video doesn't end there. And the horror of the ongoing bullying leaves the women nearly speechless. sphere when we call that there was overtaken step in the sphere of reality as he has snapped. >> Yes, >> there's no reality right now. >> No reality. >> What is he doing with that or >> he has snapped? >> No, >> he has snapped >> totally trying to get away. >> That's all he wanted was to be >> That's when he just hit him in the face or he just smacked him in the face >> with his hand. >> Mhm. No. >> At times the confrontation devolves into intense physical conflict and Dante is the relentless aggressor. >> Starts getting trying to twist his ankle sitting on him. >> Oh, he need him. >> You just need him. >> He need he need him. >> Oh my word. >> He had him by his leg and he need him. >> Cuz there was a point where I tried to walk in and I couldn't get in. >> Oh, he locked you from coming in. It's >> because he was sitting in front of the door. Yeah. Yes, Miss. >> But even with the women clearly horrified by what unfolded today at their school, the deputy remains suspicious of Destiny's founder. >> I don't know if she's trying to hide. >> No, >> but she seems like she has something going on with Donnie about >> what? >> Well, cuz she's his pastor, you know. So, >> Donnie don't got a good past. I'll tell you that much. >> And he shouldn't be around kids. I think she just she's in disbelief because honestly I think that's what it is. >> She called you guys before she seen the >> I got you. Well, I'm going to be honest with you. Knowing has passed. I'm not shocked. >> Okay. Yeah. >> And he shouldn't be around kids at all. >> Cuz he's got a nasty little past. >> I hear him now. She was talking about how upsetting it is because in her eyes, he's an upstanding person. >> Yeah. >> But he's not. F what she said. You're looking at how he has done a child. Shut the hell up. Nobody. No more rationalizing this. This It is so sad this officer says he doesn't think he should he should be around kids. If that if that man didn't get arrested and I don't even know where he's employed now, probably around kids again because of a community like this. What? Why are y'all so just the most reaction I kind of have seen? I don't know. Is that the secretary or the mom that's wearing the blue? I don't even know. But at this point, everybody disappointed me. It's below bare minimum for me. >> Yeah, I disagree. But >> yeah, I'm pretty sure she does too. Now, >> all told, the video of the altercation goes on for more than 53 minutes. a shocking length of time for any violent encounter, much less one between a principal and a student. Making matters worse, the school secretary says that he's the last kid anyone would expect trouble from. >> He's super intelligent, probably the smartest kid. >> Got to get >> the principal in the ward. >> What's up? >> Very respectful, very mannerable. >> As for the other deputy, he lets the school's administrators know that he's seen enough. I don't know what you guys are going to do in housewise, but I'm going to go find him and I'm taking him to jail for aggravated child abuse. Okay? It's a secondderee felony in the state and you won't get a bond. >> So, what you mean you don't know what we going to do? >> No. No. I'm saying I don't I don't know what you guys are doing in housewives. Firing them, get rid of them, whatever you guys are doing. >> I'm saying on my end, I'm taking him to jail tonight. >> Oh, he's not It's no way that he can be here. >> Yeah. No, I agree. No, which is you don't need nothing to think about that. >> Of course, the main obstacle now will be finding Dante Prophet, a challenge he'll have to face without the help of Destiny's founder. >> Does anybody know where he lives? >> Pastor, do you know where he lives? >> No, I don't get people personal. >> Okay. >> The deputy knows that he may still have a long night ahead of him, but he takes the time to check with one last person before he leaves. Is there >> anything else you can tell me, Mo? No. Okay. >> I'm sorry this happened to you, man. All right. I'm I'm going to do my best to get him. Okay. >> I'm going take care of this. Okay. You're a good kid, man. You're a strong kid. All right. Look at me. You did nothing wrong. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. >> The deputy doesn't have a beat on Dante's exact location, but he does have a phone number. Unfortunately, Dante is extremely reluctant to meet in person. >> Hey, where you at, buddy? We got to talk. We have to we have to talk. >> Yes, sir. >> What do you have to talk about? >> Well, we could talk about that in person. >> No, let's just talk now. >> Do you have an incident with another child today at school? >> What happened with No, >> I did. You I'm That's what I'm asking, sir. I mean, I'm not I'm not trying to ask you point and directed questions here. >> Before we go on, that's a great point, Auntie Netty. The school has to have his address. That shows how much this school does not separate anything from personal to business to running a private school to say you don't have the principal's address and you are supposed to have done a background check. You're supposed to have certain information on them and you're saying you don't have this address cuz you don't get into people's personal business. He is staff. What are you talking about? >> I mean, did you have an incident with a student today at at Destiny? I did not. >> Okay. Well, where are you at now? So, I I got to talk to you, Bubba. >> You'll have to um contact my lawyer. >> Having failed to convince Dante to meet voluntarily, the cops head out to the address they have on file for him. >> How you doing? Is there a Dante prophet here? >> No, sir. >> Where's he at? >> We haven't seen him. >> We haven't seen him. No. >> So, he's not here at all? >> No, he hasn't been saying what? What? >> Yeah, he did some not good things today and he's running from us. So, All right. Well, I appreciate it. >> No, sir. >> Thank you. >> But if Dante's on the run, it doesn't last. He finally agrees to meet with the deputies at Immerse Church, only a few hundred yards away from Destiny Leadership Academy. The deputy begins by reading him as Miranda writes before Dante launches into his story, which starts with some unsettling comments supposedly made by the student. Claims that her Dante's alone and haven't been independently verified. She wanted to um hurt himself, hurt me, you know, >> he was making statements. >> Yeah. >> My hurt my hurt me, hurt himself. >> Why would you say something like that? >> Um hurt the school. Because lately he been kind of having some hard time >> to him lately. >> What do you mean by hurt the school? >> Um says occasionally crazy statements. So you know >> and you know he have said that he want to shoot up the school. He want to blow up the school. I don't I don't think he's going to actually do it. >> Okay. But those are statements he made to you today. >> Yeah. He said he was going to um run out the room >> and one time I had to grab him and stop him from running out of the gate into traffic. Okay. >> And that's what he said he was going to do. >> Were you trying to prevent him from running out? >> Oh, 100%. >> What did you do? How did you try to prevent him? I I grabbed him, which of course >> he uh after that he he he did spit on me, but >> Oh, he spit on Where did you spit on you at? >> In my face. >> Oh, okay. By grab him? What do you mean you grabbed him? >> Mean that I grabbed him. I tried to >> Did you grab his arm, his leg, his hand? >> I I probably did all of them to restrain him. >> You try to restrain him? I I want to keep him safe. >> The deputy who has seen more than he's letting on doesn't seem to appear convinced of this defense. >> So, you're telling me this and I've talked to everybody else at the school there today? >> Yeah. >> Everybody. And they all told me the same story about him. Very smart, very intellectual. >> Very intellectual. >> Not one of them ever mentioned to me ever about him ever making statements before. >> Stop. I did. They all denied it. They all said that he's never cuz those are the type of questions I ask. I say, "Hey, is he a misbehaved kid? Does he misbehave at all? >> Does he cause problems?" They said, "No." >> If Dante still feels that he may have a chance to talk his way out of this dilemma, the deputy soon closes the door on that possibility. >> So, I don't know if you know this or not, but there's a security camera in that room. >> There is? >> Yeah. And it caught everything on camera. Everything. Especially when you had his head down, you came up and started grabbing him on the legs and poking him and grabbing him in the chest. when he wasn't talking at all. His head was just down and you approached him. So why did why did you do that? >> Okay. >> At if you at the time what I'm not hurting I'm trying to get his attention. He said he was going to hurt him. >> But you're touching him. >> I'm not hurting him at that time. >> But you're touching him. >> I want to get his attention. >> Okay. But are you allowed to touch somebody without their permission? >> If I'm not hurting you, I don't think. >> No. >> With that said, there's only one last thing to do. >> Turn off from back. Is he under arrest? >> Yes. >> I don't believe that you're trying to stop him for the hour and 15 minute that that video was recorded >> by you kneing him in the head with the well on the side of his head from hitting him with the the the c the cable from the the computer. >> I did not need him. You didn't need him. I didn't say his head. >> Knee him. What about when you got him in an ankle lock or in a choke hold? None of that. There is no you'll have your dang sir. I just want to let you know that is some of the best surveillance video footage I've ever seen in my life. >> Okay. >> And that's what's going to be sad about this later because I agree that although it was most of it was blurred for us, they describe what was going on that camera. They could see as clear as day in color what was going on that camera and and and like he said some of the best footage he's ever seen to basically condemn this man. And when I show y'all the update, I just I can't believe the update. Honestly, I cannot. >> Okay. >> You're probably fired, too, from your job, by the way. >> Yeah. >> The deputy's prediction turned out to be correct. Destiny Leadership Academy told the media that weekend they had terminated Dante. >> I wish there was sound on that video, but I Hey, if I saw the video, I feel the same way. >> Dante Prophet was charged with one felony count of cruelty toward a child and one count of false imprisonment. The latter of which was later dropped by prosecutors. >> And that's crazy. It said without great bodily harm and it was all bodily harm. >> Dante Profett plead not guilty to the felony charge. Jury selection for his trial is scheduled to begin in February 2025. >> And I have the next update for y'all cuz I went to go look it up. So I do have a little bit more. Unfortunately, I don't have the news you will want to know, but I still have the update. All right, so it says jury, and this is from Ocala's local news. Jury acquits former Ocala Elementary School principal accused of child abuse. Marian County jurors have acquitted a former Ocala elementary school principal who was accused of striking a male student and preventing him from leaving a class classroom for over 40 minutes, saying there was no evidence of harm or injuries caused to the student. Back on May 11th, 2024, they arrested him. Of course, with the incident we just watched, I'm going to go down. The Marian County Sheriff's Office stated that the surveillance footage from one of the school's classrooms was obtained, which allegedly showed Prophet grabbing the student victim, restraining him on the ground, and employing a choke hold on him. During trial, the judge and jury reviewed surveillance footage that depicted Prophet struggling with the victim over an extended period of time. Prophet could be seen swinging a computer charging cable at the victim's foot, but the video was unclear as to whether Prophet made contact with the child. This is where I am. This is me right here, Leia's grandma. Blind and stupid. In the report, a deputy noted that the victim attempted to escape from Prophet multiple times and Prophet allegedly proceeded to pick up the victim before pinning him to the ground. The report made several claims regarding Prophet's alleged actions towards the child, although none of those were substantiated at trial. Later in the video footage, Prophet was allegedly observed standing in front of the classroom door, which prevented the victim from leaving. The victim attempted to hide under a table, and Prophet allegedly grabbed the victim's right ankle and twisted it before dropping his knee into the victim's leg. According to the report, the victim was eventually allowed to leave the classroom. The student victim testified that he had made several statements that he was going to hurt himself on the day of the incident. I believe this child was coerced to say that he said he was going to hurt himself. I don't believe for a second that that child told him he was going to hurt himself and that's why that man did all that to him. Because that makes sense. That's the opposite of what you do if a child wants to harm themselves. But I believe that child was coerced, threatened something into saying that. Um, it says prophet says the student told him that he was going to run into traffic on US Highway 441 and harm the school. A school employee told the deputy that they heard screaming coming from the classroom and they saw prophet blocking the door and preventing the victim from leaving. When the victim left the classroom, the employee advised that the victim had a welt on the right side of his face. Profit was arrested in May 2024, booked into Marian County Jail, and later released from the facility after posting bond. He was initially charged with child abuse without great bodily harm and false imprisonment of a child under 13 years of age, though the latter charge was dropped by prosecutors. On July 3rd, 2025, Prophet's case went to trial and jurors deliberated that same day before returning a verdict of not guilty. During court proceedings, photos of the student that were taken after the incident were inconclusive and lacked evidence of serious harm. Earlier this year, earlier 2025, Prophet was also accused of molesting an 8-year-old boy. So that that letter that I read, I believe that was 2019. So on top of that, you now have an 8-year-old boy from 2025 that he was also accused of molesting. He was facing one count of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child younger than 12 years old. Though the charge was eventually dropped by prosecutors after they determined that a conviction was unlikely. I think there was one more thing. I'm just going to check this other article. Okay, that was his 2017 charge. Lord. So that's that's where we're at. So he is out and free to continue to he's not he I don't think is a registered sex offender. I feel like they would have mentioned that. Um so he's just out free to be mentoring kids still. So that's that's the ending of that. That's the update with Prophet. I have other ones that I'm going to go over with y'all at some time, but I do appreciate your time tonight. And uh thank you for sending this to me. I am disappointed in all of the adults, the jurors, the judge, the prosecutors, obviously the actual monster that committed the acts, those people at that school, the mom. I'm just I'm just so disappointed. I'm so disappointed. And you already know Auntie Natty, they never mentioned one. you they don't even mention it, so I don't even know. But all right, y'all. I will see y'all soon and I'll talk to you later.
