good afternoon today's date is December 19 2000 17 and the time is now 14:26 hours my name is sergeant Yvonne Valdes and I'm assigned to the office of internal affairs I'm here at the office of internal affairs to take a sworn a recorded statement from sergeant Vasquez who is a witness regarding internal first case a DM 17 0 14 the statement is a reference to an allegation of misconduct which occurred on November 18 2017 at approximately zero 3:30 hours at the incident location of 29 northeast 11th Street which is also known as 11 Miami please raise your right hand to swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth yes I do please state your name my name is sergeant Matthew Vasquez ID number two eight three nine eight your current assignment I'm currently assigned as a supervisor for Special Victims Unit CIS okay are you aware that this statement is being recorded as a part of the investigation yes I am are you recording the statement with any of your own personal devices no okay do you have independent recollection of the morning of November 18 2017 oh yes I do okay what is it better Christmas why we were working the off duty for the Miami entertainment district association a security guard had brought out the officer through the back door which I believe faces the front of club space which should be on Mike 11 Terrace they approached us and we didn't know at the time he said that he had somebody in there that they're removing him when they walked up a little bit closer to us because we were kind of mid block on 11th Terrace we asked them what had happened and he was holding I believe the the officer cell phone and like a bag with unknown substance which we later realize it was suspected cocaine powder so he as we approached he said hey were removing this guy and the officer out stated because I didn't know who he was that I know it's okay it's for you I'm with them so he Mikey verbally ID'd himself SM PD after that once we realized what had happened we secured him inside a vehicle and basically I made the notification to the field duty lieutenant to make the notifications for the caller and obviously we took custody of the the evidence and stuff and his property okay and what security guard is it that contact in you I have no idea who he is okay one of the if one of the internal security guys brought him out okay didn't know what did this gentleman okay I want to say he might have been a tall black male maybe Haitian male skinny okay and then he also the other the head of security came out also and do you know who that is yeah Adam okay and at that time did they have the officer with him yes okay so they all exit it together no the security guard came out with the officer first okay and then subsequently I'm not sure of the time delay Adam came out I guess he ready to radio them through their internal mic to have him come out once they found out that he was a cop okay but when and that's you're talking about inside the club no I'm talking outside okay so did you observe them come on in the club no no I only observed them come out or from around the corner because where we stay the back door faces 11th so we didn't see him until they do a little loop to come around the corner okay so initially at a black male is the one that I believe so yeah that makes contact with and you said who was with you you said we who's we for us you said you're with other people right we were I was with the other officers that work in the off duty okay who are those over there I was officer Cal Cydia officer Abba Junior and I believe it was officer Cowell was there okay and so the security guard comes out then the other security director Adam and the officer come no they came out first just them to the officer and the security guard sorry alright and then the director is the one that came after a little bit out for a couple minutes a couple minutes give or take yeah okay and the one who you had the conversation was is the person that you had a conversation with is the security guard correct okay and what exactly is it that he told you he said hey I had this guy because we didn't know who he was so normally when they come to us with somebody we know they're gonna get removed so we give them like a verbal trespass so when he brought him out he was standing out there with him I didn't recognize him but apparently I think one of the other officers knew who he was so they said hey what are you doing or what's going on and the guy goes don't worry about it or he said something to the security guard naw it's okay yeah I'm sure you I'm with that mom MPD also he said that in front right he burped yeah he verbally identifies himself okay and what else what else is that at that point after that we were kind of stunned actually we didn't really say I didn't really say too much until we verified and then we put him inside the car and what is it that the security guard had told you that happened that he was inside the club basically bumping cooking they caught him inside the club using cocaine okay did he say who specifically stopped him and who caught him I don't remember from viewing it on the camera but it could have been him or another security guy I'm saying when he approached you did he say who what was his exact conversation with you regarding what happened in temperature or why was yeah was it was very short basically they observed him doing cocaine they removed him and brought him to us okay and you said somebody had his cell phone and I'm note substance who without the habit I want to say I don't know if it was I can't recall who took custody might have been cow or maybe a by jr. I'm not sure Harley Hummer who was and who was it the hadn't in their possession prior to them the security guard do you the security guard not Adam or was it on which security of our better said was about I believe it was the first one he's the one that turned it over okay and did you see where you produced it he's no he he had it on him he was holding it with the with the phone I believe okay in his hands yes okay do you remember which end he had it may be the right hand I'm not sure if you yeah just only if you remember right and did you at any point take custody of the substance or his cell phone or anything yes I checked it out you have you handled it yes okay and what was the substance when you ended up here it appeared to be a suspected power cocaine is what it looked like to me okay and was a package yes it was in a clear plastic baggie okay and um was there anything else inside the bag here or any other anything else along with that his cell phone he had some miscellaneous um keys and then um when we searched them and put him inside the car he actually didn't have his police ID with him if I recall he had like I can't remember if he had a wallet with no badge in it and then he had like when the recruits get hired you know they give him that little training ID that's what he was carrying okay and what did the officer look like a light Hispanic male five-nine five-ten darkish brown black hair we look like a young kitten I didn't even know who he was and what was his demeanor like oh he was calm shockingly he didn't really say too much I think I only asked him a couple questions as far as where do you work who's your supervisor and I think what was his name and that's it but he was pretty mellow okay and did you observe anything on his face or anything no not that I recall of he might have had a little bit when he first came out I remember they said something to him but it looked like the way the light was hitting on a knoll he had because they had him under like a streetlight when they brought him out so I don't know if there was any like residue or like an unknown substance like on his lower lip by his nose didn't you see if it looked like it yeah but I don't know for sure what it was okay and did you relay that information to anyone yeah I think I told your ia guy when he came out okay and did you get close enough to him to confirm if if it was in fact anything or any residue or anything or no when they brought him and I was standing a little bit away and they just took him and I'll put him in the car because I was dealing with the security people to try to get the story and information but I didn't want him to freak out or run or do anything so I told the other guy secure him and then we'll figure everything else out after that just in case he takes off okay and you said that you told a lieutenant who was it that you advice Cooper lieutenant Cooper okay and was he with anybody else the security guards the lieutenant no the officer did anybody else come afterwards or was there any other no I had asked if it was he here alone and they said there was another person that was with him that they was standing around him inside the club but when they asked them they said somewhere they just kind of met he was like a tourist or something so they let him roll out they let him leave the security guards told you that right at to him I think it was the the guy that brought him out and it might have been also madam - I'm not sure okay so the evidence was handed to you said how or or a bond correct okay and did you see them take custody of it when they did they took custody of it and they put it in a evidence bag and secured it inside the vehicle okay we're inside the vehicle the front seat yeah and do you remember whose vehicle it was security no I don't remember the officers thought those he was placed in the vehicle do you remember whose vehicle it was no I don't remember which one okay and then what happened after that we just made the notifications okay and obviously everybody responds in her memory and until when were you part of this incident I believe even once I was pretty much almost done once your ia guys came out once women and it took a look at the video after that they they called another supervisor to come out and watch him and then they had another unit go and taken the Mount Sinai but your guys handle that and I was just still on scene and then did you stay on the senior you left ones no I stayed because we don't leave until 7:00 okay now till zero 7:00 in the morning okay and who when you said that we watch the video who else was with you when you guys watch a video there was me and uh what's his name quarrel I believe okay a surgery with internal yes yeah okay did the security guards say if there was anybody else that was using cocaine also or did they specifically say that it was him only or what what is it that they told you regarding that they said they basically observed him this one I asked him I go who else was in there with him and they said no he was with some guy that they said when they approached him that he was like some tourist or somebody that he just met inside the club but I'm not sure if it was another Pio with the guy light or the security guy I don't know is there anything else that I haven't asked you that you feel is important to this case no not that I can remember yeah is there anything else that you've told me that you'd like to elaborate more on no I think everything is should be on point and after the officers after the officer that took custody of the of the suspected narcotics right who would that have that over afterwards - Adam Colt who is a witness regarding internal affairs case 17-0 14 the statement is a reference to an allegation of his conduct which occurred on November 18 2017 at approximately 3:30 hours o'clock eleven which is located at 2900 BC lemon Street also present in the room is detective Caravaggio also the internal affairs office gays raise your right hand to swear it's on the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth okay are you aware that this statement is being recorded by him are you recording this thing with any of your own personal devices about look are you recording this statement with any of your own purpose okay can you state your name madam boat your work address that's when a nine northeast 11th Street you dare yelling address your date of birth 610 77 okay so as you're aware we fracture in today's speak of the incident that happened on Club eleven on November 18 2007 teen were you working that day yes okay what is your position characteristic jerk okay so tell me what occurred I was dealing with a situation elsewhere I heard a radio I answered a radio call to a certain area the areas don't have DJ the area that's the south side of the building posted a DJ bar and DJ booth where one of my guardians only cogged witnessed Adrian Santos whatever you know a mess [Music] out the open doing lines are doing if what appeared to be illegal narcotics I approached where he was he wouldn't know the individual I asked individual if he was doing anything that he should be doing anything illegal he he looked at me for a minute and then I asked if he was doing anything illegal he reached in his pocket and pulled out a bag of white powdery substance which I assumed to be or it appears to be so definitely gonna go so I walk about DJ self exit [Music] because you know that this what we know we do they won't stand for any type of illegal substances we protect our license in our business and our brand analysts Ravens zero-tolerance policy when it comes to illegal narcotics right I think that appears to be the illegal narcotics we exited the guests just like we do than any other circumstance the DJ's exit is where when we walked out that's where we had the media officers and the DEA Meeta the entertainment district Association the off-duty officers that worked the Association during the weekends there was three or four officers that were standing back there one sergeant and when we walked about the door the one of the officers or sergeant immediately recognized him that has Flavian police off duty hey that's one of our guys sergeant asked me what was going on while they're going outside and I explained to he was seen inside two things that appeared to be illegal narcotics spread out in the open so at this point in time because they are de of officer the sergeant the state that he is one of our squirrel Adrian said Miami PD it's okay so I looked at the sergeant I said we're just escorting about and the sergeant said well we have to make a call on this so they took over there put em in the backseat of a car it made everything else to be and then what happened I was mistaken I thought that he was arrested but I guess he wasn't it wasn't an arrest but he was taken where he was taken to okay and that was the end of your mom and at that point or was there any further involvement here there they they just asked us what was going on same story that you could hear it's we stated who is there the offices the ones that were on the scene already okay I didn't talk to anybody else there was no there actually that's not true I don't recall we probably call the point of the new lore people who were brought into the scenario had asked me any questions about we go I had a lot going on that night we had a very good night I'm sure if you read the tabloids you see the other big incident that happened on the same day so that means they're kind of meshing together and so as far as anybody else that was brought into the scene at that given point I'm I don't recall if I had answered any further questions or whatever I had talked to a lot of people that night but as far as this we never give any okay now let's go back a little bit you said that you got a call on the radio you guys have handheld radios or how does radios talking and what did you what did you receive appalled moment already illegal and where was he located do you know what his damn area I'll get swear I arrived to the TJ's lip area okay and what is it that he told you that he appeared that he had witnessed I took it just for Adrienne Santos it's a you you're hesitant to say it's nameless no I'm just saying sorry we're talking about I want you to tell me how you know him you know him as eight your thoughts is that we're talking about here is that the police officer that's that you're asking questions I'll get into all of that as the as the as the interview goes on we are talking about Sears so you get a radio call from Malik saying exactly what he witnessed Adrienne's on to us [Music] okay take advice where this was going on or I think in a moment in time I didn't ask he just wanted it I guess was right here okay so my question was if it had occurred somewhere else and then it occurred again or if that's just the only incident but you guys were notified of now the the person that you stopped do you have you seen this person before data familiar face okay why do I know his face I don't know if he's been inside the club before I'm horrible at I've asked you this 30 times are not horrible the names of phenomenal faces I for some reason his face look familiar to me and I don't know if it was because he has been a frequent guest of the club or in the area you know where 11 Miami sits it's the entertainment district of Miami and there's three four clubs right in that vicinity and I spent a lot of time outside dealing with the situation so they nestled on the passing I don't recall him being a police officer that we have ever dealt with before and I definitely recognize him as a police officer but his face did look somewhat familiar why I appointed okay and how did describe how he looked the description of how he looked is gonna be intertwined with how he acted the time because he looked like he he was there everybody was knowing what was going on but his delay in reaction seems to be like he was almost imperative be impaired okay so you like the way that he it seemed like he didn't understand the severity of what was going on especially after the sergeant got involved like he was like he was yeah I said it you know like the bag of cocaine that was a powdery substance what appeared to be cocaine seemed to be not important to him like he like he was like it like it was no problem so it's I don't know how to describe it I can't he was like there but not there okay and physically how did he physically would fight he was still I mean his description a description of him 510 511 maybe a little bit shorter five nice let's say light brown hair thin 170 pounds underneath pounds black t-shirt blue jeans I believe that jeans blue jeans something thinner built up a hole to see if I had to take a shot the doctor say 2830 maybe okay and was he with anyone yeah yeah so there was another male we worked when I approached a store on people to substance out of his pocket that was in a bag handed it to me I looked at it figured okay this is something that should've being walked amongst at the door and as soon as the police officers at the surgeon said that's one of ours one of my guys said she's with his buddy and I said go inside and bring him out and he brought out another guy and I want to say that he was almost like like Indian the center of Pakistan something with a little bit of a darker complected he was wearing a collared shirt buttoned down tucked in when I went back to the surveillance and I ran the cameras I saw that he was it looked like they were that ring for each other well he was the substance who is he I don't know gentleman with a button-down or or the one that you stumbled they were they were both right there like catching each other's backs while they were you know I can't say it was Bo cane but what appeared to be okay I know some type of substance and then what we put I instructed one of my guys to bring him up they did bring him out and then he played it was that guy that I saw later on balance he's I don't know is he took off okay No did you see the video I did do you know that they were talking about the one that is with him when you guys stop him yes mommy which when I was sifting through the head believe me I spent hours but I think I explained to you my passport isn't working on the civilian system so I literally had to just watch and the way that their cloud and they have multiple points of entry at the front door we have a buckle ropes ropes and one main bottlenecking starts nice to us through heads it's tough so roping back to the surveillance and looking at the description of the two gentlemen together and help me stiffly without names to go into perspective the stuff that is though they've been pointing either one of them coming in lucky request at the end time so back to the incident of when I walked about I recognized the dad that they were covering each other doing whatever they were doing is the same day like I had brought outside and then all of a sudden said to me I don't know this guy no crystal he was dishonest with me okay and you you said you have the photograph yeah [Applause] okay and that's a still from there you go squirt it up yes okay and how many times didn't step there I ought to be able to that you personally saw now you had asked me to and forgive me it's it's been a crazy busy week you don't ask me to go back and look at those stairs which I have to do tonight if I find more I find more but the two that I've seen so far to date yes I think that's true okay no I mean huh what I asked is in the club and he probably reached his own pocket pulled out a bag of white powdery substance and attained which when you asked me you know his mannerisms or whatever the question was I forget verbatim he looked he appeared thank you Miss I wanna say sober but aware but how now he didn't take the level of severity especially him being a police officer how you just handed it to me that was normal I think it was okay and said yeah this the ambitious it was first for me okay and what pocket do more pocket did he take it out of I'd be guessing okay that's fine if you don't remember that's my and did he hand do anything else girl need them are Pettis no but outside brought him outside our usual practice is always documented walk about the doors or that we and we call it 86 what would be 86 somebody for the night a week for a month for a year we document and we always ask for ID 86 is like a trespass warning that is so 86 assassin somebody I believe getting rid of somebody 86 is determined at restaurants that you know if the menu item is is if you run out of steaks for the night snakes 86 for the night so gonna be kind of translated that into you know ejected somebody out for the night and for the week of the year whatever they're 86 okay and the way that we documented is first standard is we asked for their ID let me take a picture that ID we take a picture of them and then we you know based on the infection whatever it is we kind of put back for it sometimes it's definitely based on you know the severity of it so we always back to them we try to report as much internal internal documents as possible so the reason why I'm telling you this is because normally we would just smoke them and for the ID and they peel it away or whatever in this situation I don't recall if I believe the officers spotted it before I got the chance to ask for the ID I ended up getting the ID because all this happened it was until after the thinking which them till after the police officers would be discharging the officers day okay and he was photographed by you guys the normal procedure was done as far as I know that you said maybe after a really normal at this point obviously he was in custody okay and what about the other gentleman that was with him no identification was over was he photographed such a video was he in return 86 opportunity to because he so he just left the club which was outside but I'm saying obviously he didn't go back inside or anything it just as far as I know now when we do eject people when people have a charger to the door they stand okay right and that's for me entry per distance when we inject somebody for the night usually cross off that stamp this tells the front door that they're not allowed back in for the night we're gonna get the opportunity to do that on his step so whether he walked around the building and got back inside I thought I don't know that I can't go on record until you know it's not back in the building okay and with any report or any documentation filled out for this on you on you know behalf of the club or on your ins did you anything did you guys talk did you guys read any type of report no you said that you had you seen them before that happened and in the in the club not not on a previous occasion but that evening had you seen them before like I told you before his face looks familiar to be here wouldn't wear it can't be guessing you said that he gave you a bag what containing that suspected cocaine what did the bank look like they look like a bag that most people put cocaine inside of her what appears to be cocaine is that powdery substance it was a bag about an inch and a half tall inch and a half wide maybe 2 inches long 2 inches wide plastic not sealable I don't know he's a d-bag is in a sealable it's what you know more times than you these back sometimes a colored green blue I believe this one has to it the story okay and aside from pausing and him handsome you look okay and did he say anything else to you at that point while you guys were inside no I I told him right away follow us repent go right out that door and no hesitation okay and when you got custody of the bag what did you do with it stayed in it could always carry a flashlight at my right hand it stayed at my left hand through the through the exit door okay then great to wear the Blazer okay it stayed in your hand the whole outside the door okay and when you stepped outside you said that the officers were there about how far which said the officers were from the doorway to to where they weren't the doorway itself is pretty deep it's go ahead state so that's sure would be that's going to be 12 feet in absolutely and then you got a second yeah okay and where exactly were the officers positioned right there beside me and who did you hand that to it believes the surgeon yes I came cause I had an episode on that have quite a bit of the officers okay but you have that are up to someone in uniform one of the gentlemen that you make contact with do you did you see what they did with it yeah they put it into an evidence bag it how did the evidence backing up here and then what happened with with the gentlemen they put him in the backseat of one of the mark cruisers ok did you I don't know if they end up like oh okay and did you see our vehicle number on that car they all they all have vehicle numbers I did not take reference ok you said that his name is Adrian Santos how did you how do you know him his from his ID okay and you said that you make contact with the sergeant and the officers what do what is the name of the sergeant and/or the officers whoever you having [Music] sergeant man that was cocaine officer I would say its name wrong counsel did because it they want okay Carlos get kids to do okay and the other two and would you be able to supply for the copy of the report that you do you have documents in this event yeah the email yes I want us enjoy you're gonna give me trouble weekend - oh no no that's fine but I'm just I just wanted to get as far as the video I know that we didn't speak about the video do you did supplies three videos or three camera angles essentially one of your what it's the three surveillance yeah and three angles of surveillance that was DJ Park South there's an angle coming from the bar and there's one from the bottom of the stairs good and we have the one of the exit of the club that leads to 11th Street is there any other obviously you guys have surveillance inside the nightclub I have asked you for the surveillance that's coming down from the stairs aside from the video that's inside of the night flow do are you aware of any other videos or photographs that you know yes I mean one season please has to be that it's not saying like did you take a video or did really take any videos or anybody else that you have made a member made aware that have videos or photos of this that we are not aware okay is there anything else that I have asked you that you feel is pertinent to this investigation in any way that I haven't asked you that you feel is it's important I think it's okay that's but that's weird to me and another question that I did have actually is did you notice anything any substances or anything on his face [Applause] it's funny you asked i believe i stated that that i noticed it on his nose - no okay was it any part of his note specifically here i believe I planted a note today it's when he said I believe about a thousand percent sure but I'm pretty sure I believe today okay and the photo array regardless of whether you make an identification we will continue to investigate the incident keep in mind that individuals presented in this series may not appear exactly as I did on the date of the incident because features such as head and facial hair our subjects change also photographs may not always depict a true complexion of the person the person's complexion may be lighter or darker than shown in the photo pay no attention to any markings or numbers that may appear on the photos or any other differences in the type or style photographs you should not feel that you have the location of Club 11 which is located at 29 North East 11th Street also present in the room is detective dulce also of the Internal Affairs Office please raise your right hand the source of the your current address your date of birth May twelfth 1982 and a good contact number for you okay and your own words tell me what occurred that incident and how you were welcomed into third on overnight over 18 2017 I was assigned to the post own towards to the back end of the club as we call it picks up okay at my post witnessed gentleman behind my shoulder once I turned around would seem to be stored in what appeared to be cocaine to his nose my keychain only reason appeared that way cuz as a white substance and the journey at times in the nightclub when someone leans over here slips anything if it knows it's white that's how the since probably cocaine we could have of course we have no testers on site so there's no definitive way to prove that it was that he ended up what I saw that he was doing that I walked up to or approached him asked him exactly what he had in his pocket because he's assignment so is he saw me walking towards me put in his pocket that told me before you even lied to me we've seen the steel assault you just did pull out your pocket and in that same motion my manager it was not too far away luckily so I brought him over as well and then we both interrogate him right then and there on the spot he willingly left his pockets out yeah at the lot of small bag of cocaine on him what would appear to be cocaine he didn't explore them outside and they were small to the officers there we'd had it over to him over to officers and that's about the end of it okay now what is your what is your position we didn't work for come be lemon yes Guardian take a well we get hired we take a 12 hour of course on security forgot the name of it but it's like a host security things like 12 hours it entails over two drugs how to deal with customers how to use force that's necessary to subdue somebody no it works okay and have you had experiences like this before that you have taken people for there's no narcotics and stuff like that yes plenty of those in that clip industry that's one of the main problems we have besides over the toxication okay how do you mean you said that you were you were saying that and then over your shoulder you saw something where used was he where was the the mail was starting the cocaine in relation to where you were the dance for the way it's set up it's like in front of me okay and I always my post is to watch the possession of this key change that anybody ever taken section no no to position and we just took possession of the narcotics I believe to be narcotics okay do you know excuse me do you know the person that you stopped have you seen this person before no I've never seen him before he said he comes too often but of course we probably interact with over 2000 people a night so it's pretty much impossible to tell and you haven't seen him before maybe on prior prior days or probably nights or whatever but have you did you see him before that evening or was that the first thing you saw him that the first time you saw him that first somersault first encounter okay and who was he with another gentleman that said he just met him but we don't he said he had nothing to do with him okay and how did the gentleman they used talked I did you know he was a white male possibly like maybe 510 clean-cut the average looking at gentleman okay and what was the gentleman that he was with what was what was his history I didn't you know about to say just a little bit shorter than it was well he had a little bit longer here though okay and did he have any tattoos and he features and in birthmarks anything that's just good the distinguishing characteristic that he had it no they didn't have anything to too much though stand up from anybody else okay so when you see him do you approach him by yourself or do you approach him with your manager what is what is how did that work when we see anybody doing anything we approach them and then we call it manager over and they basically back us up and then only with what the managers approval do we ever taking my outside of the club okay and you let him know I'm sorry you let him know before you approach them or as you are approaching hammer was the exchange of conversation this slide said everything to him I said you know I know you have something in your pocket I've seen you doing what a pretty big cocaine all right I should just take everything out your pockets right now and he will only did so I've read to say he did or before he took him out he did on disclose that he was a police officer he told you letter e for them little what was cuz we both stand in the same time okay so when you've done that you know he's doing activity and all that stuff what is it what is he told you he basically just stated that it was my he works for Miami PD and Adam Ethan he has a good relationship with the department so he said okay well we'll just walk outside and you handle of it to them and let them do what they want to do with it do you remember exactly what he said as far as being a police officer hmm that's he didn't say much outside for somebody was doing that you seem very calm and demeanor you also you to anybody we see doing cocaine there for a little more hyperactive and he is more melancholic misdemeanor with he with anybody else are just with that one gentleman just what the word gentleman okay well we didn't find out if he didn't know I know I just had met that moment I guess they were probably just partying together okay and do you have you ever seen that person before and how many times did you see him or snort cocaine just the once and sort of that saw it he saw me see him doing it post them okay I wasn't just him that you saw her did you see the other gentleman of the gentleman I didn't see but it wasn't living in at this close location where you can cut high it was pretty much out in the open and the you said that there was a baggie that he had do you remember where he had that bag in its you remember which pocket takes me this is right pocket and who did he give the baggie to clubs at and what went outside and we handed it over to he's you know outside of the offices and as you guys were walking where was the man good answer do you remember which hand it was I'm not sure and what did the baggie look like he's fairly small like about this size with a ziploc bag you know one of the swallows if I messaged you and did it have any 10 Twitter with a plan clue and when you guys got outside what happened or was there any proper any other property that was given to you or to Adam no just the once we saw the keys on he put the keys back in this pocket we just confiscated them the baggie then walk them outside okay and what happened with you guys I go outside let's go outside and brought them in because the way that exit is on a little street that is I think that's maybe 11th Street we want the exit doors whatever Street right across from space so we walked them down out of the sighs jail no that's why we court maybe yeah so we walking towards Miami court where it was like three off to the officers there told them disguise says he's one of you guys you know him and they said one of the officers immediately knew who he was and then they to go from there okay and about how far did you guys say they're speaking to him by the door or was it an immediate thing that you guys went on to the officers or how was it that that happen so I talked to him about two or three seconds soon as we confiscated it we walked outside but I mean once you guys were outside that you came out well they're literally right there on the side okay Jay were they were stopped on the side yeah they they hang on that on that crusty right there obviously so they're at 11:00 they can have a view of space as well okay and who did you guys make contact at that work with I'm not sure the officer's name but I would know anything that the he's one of those petty officers I can't see his lessons Garcia from another station okay what was it what's his just his description I see him almost every made to that can't even look what he's military time he's always had eleven run it off to the officers there kind of average height Spanish male yes somewhat of accent that's but it does we have short hair short black hair heavyset been set somewhat then ever spilled [Music] and did you guys speak to the officers as a group or did you guys speak to specific officers your um all the officers all their standing there were we told them what happened so okay and what exactly did you guys tell them that we found this gentleman he says he's one of these parties what do you guys what do you want to do with them he found some cocaine or would it be had to be cooking on him and officer then took it to that next level by calling whoever was a person in charge they shipped at the time okay and you said that the the officer and the other officer that after we got certain who he was how how did how did you gather that sound is a reaction what was his reaction it's like come on so before we even said who he was he saw who he was he's like come on man what are you doing and that it was kind of like the indication that she knew exactly yeah what did the what did the gentleman say um he didn't would say much use for most part use pretty much quiet and the whole idea okay and did anything he told you other than saying that you would look at these officer did he say anything else - no besides he's a police officer he was trying to like basically saying you know guys yeah do all of this just toss this away or whatever but for the most part he didn't really say much else then after you guys stepped outside who took custody did your guys keep one of the officers I'm not sure we Adam did with it I love it whether he gave it to him or not or we kept it but then he was putting once in the back with these cars okay at what point did you guys leave and go back inside after I saw him go in the car I went back in into the club Adam stayed pretty sure they even spoke what them or whatever and I didn't come back out to whoever that lead was in charge at the time for the night shift was there that spoke with him about what I saw okay and what the drip start that evening midnight and did you see any white powdery substance on his face but there was a little bit of residue on his keychain we pulled up as I said that's where I saw the stop take it off of him that's right it is like a swamp beer on it okay so you and where did you see where did at what point did you see that the residue was on there as soon as he pulled out his pocket in the club in the club you saw it there okay and so you guys gave him the keys back and nobody ever took custody that you normally think I was taken from an ID nor was the battery suspect and at any point did you guys did you know what his name was already information of him I believe that they took his um ID but we never really put on our end he said it we're not gonna you know we're gonna let you guys take over do what you want with it we're not gonna you know tarnish his name or anything with the club we won't have any involvement I'm not sure if Adam himself took more forts harder okay so you guys didn't document that in any way what incident that occurred you just we just we documented it you ever owned in storage before so right but I don't even have his ID you usually take the ID you take a photo and take a photo of him and all that what we did do is random and then lighting inside the club you said that you saw you're gonna see it inside the club what is the lighting like in there in that area of me is fairly bright and then of course I have my flashlight on me as well but I don't use it oh you didn't use enough but the lighting enough close enough to see this that there's darkness you think it is do you know any of the officers names that you guys spoke to no I'm not sure their names I just look at my face what did the other gentleman do that was with him what what happened when you're raised but I don't know that he was with somebody else because we just took him out of time that he had we'd the bouncers the security okay do you know the officer no I've never met him before okay now what are you look like light-skinned he was blond remember he's wearing jeans and I go medium haircut I and started in the bus Poznan five field Riverton he responded he made the appropriate notifications did you see then exit the club at what point do you get a visual on them once they exit or when you guys yeah a zero outside okay and from the moment that they exited that they come right to you guys or was there no they just stayed by own not like by the building and you know we were by the median where vehicles are parked okay and then a board of we're up saying is how long was it from when they came out to when they make contact with you guys like they were just talking and I want to say in the last less than two minutes more than like ten seconds okay yeah and who is it that approaches you guys you say a manager yeah they're mine well he said it from far away you know for more he was done he told us on hate he said he's with you guys he's MPD because of his word son that's when we walk over time okay and it was just the manager the officer and a security person yes ma'am it's the officers probably whatever he got fallen a gleeful wallet well after that sergeant's asked us to put it on the back seat of the car and he contacted okay don't call that our house there so placed in the back seat of whose vehicle and you said if he was patted down did you guys find anything else on no other than personal belongings yeah no okay was he given any instructions officer Santos no that's this would be just a way to just figure it out what was the next step okay was he handcuffed no did he make any comments or requests to you at that time no no listen okay so from the time that he was placed in a car and an officer of Bob's car was he removed from that vehicle at any point without my you guys know what oh he was removed by did he make any requests to you guys while
