is he just right there quick is he just right there he can walk up this far being these two okay that's good uh he can walk up this far if he needs to [Music] okay oh boy [Music] hello driver of the vehicle [Music] driver the vehicle yeah okay leo tell me what's going on with arkansas state police well i don't really know you don't know okay the uh we were at a collision scene bare mineral springs is where we were at okay then we're here hearing traffic of another collision that happened a single vehicle okay okay so we're you the driver of that other engine okay so tell me what happened on that collision i turned two chart went into ditch got pulled out now i'm here the uh did you drive back over here to your house no okay that's the guy drove me back back [Music] family friend yeah yeah yeah okay was that that was in your patrol again he was in my patrol unit yeah okay why did he drive you back well he he was just in charge of the vehicle charge his vehicle okay before we go any further i am going to reach out to you okay you got to ride for main style and anything you say you can't lift against your court law you have the right to have attorney president before answering any questions you can't afford one want to be appointed for you okay if you do choose to answer any questions you can answer those at any point in time if you don't want to answer any more you can stop okay you understand your rights yeah okay the problem is right now i am smelling odor from toxins on your breath okay so that's where we're at i know i haven't ever personally met you before i see a badge radio i've been told that you're working okay so i'm not liking this situation anymore then you're probably liking it okay but moving forward with that we are going to continue on with the dwi investigation okay all right so as of right now what we need to do we need to do of course we can't force you to do anything it's up to you so i'm going to request you to do standardized field sobriety test do you so cheap to do that sure okay all right we need to find a flat place you can ride with me or about right here wherever you feel safe to do stuff you want me to try to find a flatter spot than this or what you want to do i don't know this would be all right okay but yeah back up but he's probably he or she's probably gonna right there in front of my vehicle okay [Music] [Music] over here [Music] [Music] probably gonna have okay it's probably it's a little bit flatter up here he's not wanting to go back to the road to we can do [Music] i may have this back up a little bit let's get a little bit flatter surface to do this you need to get that back there so get your car up here yeah we'll do that okay i just want to make it fair to you as possible okay like i said this is pretty much a straight path right here all right yeah okay let's see if the uh any injuries or anything like that okay i don't know i'm not gonna jack with you okay it's just it's just a kind of awkward situation for both of us all right so i'm just gonna put your radio on my dash on my hood here all right and then somebody else has got my guns yeah so yeah what we're going to go and stand up for me i want you to face my vehicle i'm going to face my people all right put your arms down you said i'm going to borrow your glasses it's not a reading test or nothing you just have to take my finger all right feet together arms down your side where's that okay with your eyes and your eyes only can you see my finger here okay do you take any kind of medication or anything a couple okay what do you think any kind of painkillers or anything like that no okay all right okay put your eyes on your eyes only i'll just call it my finger do you understand okay tip my finger okay what drives your eyes on and once you follow my finger do you understand the tip of my finger you see this hit my finger okay you're looking at me you're not looking to tip my finger okay round your eyes only follow the tip of my finger that's messed up [Music] yeah keep your chin straight [Music] there we're going to start the second part back over keep your head straight okay put your arms down yourself okay we're going to go out of ways for four seconds it's going to test your eyes a little bit you're probably going to get tired but just go out as far as you can okay [Music] try to keep your shit your face straight over here [Music] i don't have to [Music] if it goes out of your line of view just look as far out there as you can until it comes back in your line of view okay [Music] that's [Music] of view just keep it keep it as far as you can until my finger comes back in your life at the tip of it okay [Music] all right just relax for a second okay [Music] all right let me put your glasses back on we're not gonna need your eyes anymore okay [Music] all right this next test is gonna be a walk and turn test it simple heel to toe test where you familiar with those yeah all right all right the uh just come back here for me for a little bit just stand right here for me we're gonna try to stay out of that stay out of this little hole right here there's a slight divot that you face being out all right yeah i need you to get imaginary line so you're going to take nine heel to toe steps so wherever you think you can take nine heel to toe steps is that where you want to do it at right there ah yeah yeah wait there you go yep all right you're not are you practicing or do what are you practicing or we're not okay all right what we're gonna do do you wanna you wanna face that way first or do you want to face this way first i'm going to let you pick it don't matter okay let's uh we'll we'll go this way with it okay so what i want you to do i want you to get that imaginary line i want you to put that left foot on that imaginary line like this okay now i want you to put your right foot on that imaginary line like this with your arms down to your side all right stand up nope go back stay in that position until i finish all my instructions do you understand arms down each side you're gonna take a series of nine steps counting that loud heel to toe exactly like this one two three all the way up to nine use that lead foot make small pivot steps i want you to face the weight that you just come from okay and we're going to repeat that same process on the way back exactly like this heal the toe one two three all the way up to nine okay okay you understand those one two three four five six seven eight nine and back exactly one two three four five [Music] okay find your little flat spot best skin okay got you a good flat spot okay we're gonna do a one leg stand okay all right what we're gonna do is the uh i got a torn meniscus so the uh what you do all right what do i do okay what we're gonna do is they uh i'm gonna have you both legs straight i'm let you pick whatever leg that you want to all right you're gonna keep that foot parallel to the ground raise it six inches off the ground okay go ahead put both feet together arms down your side i want you to stay in that position to undertale i give you all my instructions you understand both feet together toe to toe heal the heel like this arms down inside stay in that position to finish all my instructions do you understand okay what we're going to do as i said i'm getting here we can see me a little bit better but they're going to keep both legs straight foot parallel to the ground six inches off the ground okay i'm gonna raise it up six inches off the ground one thousand one thousand two four thousand three one thousand four i think continuing to count until you stop do you understand those instructions [Music] find you a flat spot but best you can do okay there is no flat spot remember when you raise it look at your tip of your toe count out loud and don't put your foot down tell you to stop if you do have to put your foot down with your arms to your side just start back where you left off do you understand yeah it's okay all right [Music] one two three four how long do i have to hold it up approximately 30 seconds [Music] really [Music] you can stay in the same spot that i just done you won't do it no matter whatever you wanna do [Music] okay i'm going to come up here to my car for me i'm going to request you to a pbt for me okay just stand right here for me you want to stand right on the other side up there by the front please yes you stand right there by my driver's side so have you ever owned a pbt before no no i know what okay when i ask you too it's just like blowing through a straw blowing up a balloon okay good strong steady breath until i tell you to stop okay got it deep breath and blow blow blow blow blow blow blow blow blow blood [Music] i got a problem i understand that and i will work on it damn one more time it's a good strong state breath yeah i'm not gonna argue with you i know how it goes please you gave me please let me go home i'm not here my damn backyard i know i'm fucked up i i understand that it's your fault it's not his fault all right but all right the thing is right now you're going to be placed under arrest and you ought to know out of anybody else okay it's just it was a poor decision made and i hate that we met under these circumstances i understand that i'm not mad at you and it's absolutely absolutely nothing i understand that the uh i'm going to make sure that you don't have any concealed weapons or anything like that i don't have anything my pocket knife yep we're just going to make sure that's going yeah i don't want to lose that so it's going to stay with you this is your residence here and somebody here with you at your residence yeah okay do you want to leave this with somebody here so they're kind of there's your brother do you want to leave all this with them is anything you want to take down there with us um i'll just don't take it with us um [Music] see how they want to do that okay okay the thing is the process that we're going to we're fixing to go through get that and then we're going to get out as quick as we can we're going to there's a process we're going to do down at howard howard uh county i'm just saying himself actually is probably why we've never met the um we are going to do that once we get through with our paperwork and everything i'm going to prosecute and talk about we're going to try to get you released to somebody and get you right back okay all right that'll work sound good have you all been doing that releasing thanks for [Music] pocket now he's gonna don't want to lose it actually is that your brother there yeah is he he's good you know him yeah yeah what's his name carl oh what happened from now i'm gonna leave it here i'm old no this is to go with your assistant chief okay brother while you're out here are you going to be free for a little bit something um if um if there's a way i know it's kind of might be an inconvenience but then if we can just think we can just get through this process down to howard my more more howard county and then let us get through this book in deal and then try to get him released we just got to have him we have to be able to release him to somebody just let's let first things first let's get that done and then we'll we'll come out if uh you want to be down there we can all discuss some stuff and figure out what's going on we're not just going to drop him off and go we're going to talk some stuff we're going to try to go where howard howard uh nashville to the sheriff's office [Music] is it across from the floor now yeah no boot guns nothing like that nobody ever has but i've had one person try to punch me and when they found the results of that that nobody else has tried to punch me easy now i don't fly like that i don't have nothing okay [Music] going to jail good okay i don't even know even though we're meeting on bad terms i'm still going to show you respect all right that'll work [Music] i said it's uh hey if you uh if you need to scoot your butt that way and turn sideways you're good you got your wallet and everything on you where's it at let me see it we're gonna make this as quick as we can to get you going you want to take this is your id with you [Music] i guarantee um okay but then again it's public property or agency property um as long as i release it to the next in line but then i said he's here so i just need to chat with him for a second if you want to stop it where the accident happened or you want to go over i'm going to go on with this and get this done and then i might come back to the scene i thought maybe a little bit longer on me but i'd rather get this done first sure and try to get him let me let me do this and then we'll i'll sit 1015. [Music] [Music] um as minimum as um this is where we're going to do it but i want to talk to everybody before we yeah i feel like we need to make him postpone because we can't treat him any different than exactly anybody that's the thing is that's what i was going to talk to you all about we're going to hold him to higher standard because i mean police officer we're holding a higher standard the only reason i had one but the way i was going about it is because that's what i've been doing because it's coveted deal because a lot of jails have been requiring us to do that if we can release them to it but now i've not messed with ardell hempstead county so that's why i said i'm gonna have to talk with them first to see and i don't want brothers because he's a good friend of mine it's a huge conflict huge conflict huge conflict but we gotta treat him absolutely pop the bumper out you made me do anything we're good i'm going to get zach's vehicle back i'm getting back down here okay was it still in here that's all his that's his weapon they were on him at the time and who drove me back you see troy that was the guy the concealed guy yeah okay i am going to talk to him because that's going to be a violation of policy probably but not that don't deal with us this is the open beer in there he poured it out i'm assuming he probably poured out and ditched it which i'm gonna have a statement for that okay you need to take pictures or anything since you've released i mean technically it's it's only a property related to them i'm not really doing anything so where'd they go they go they're not that okay i need to talk to assistant chief because technically i'm going to release it to him today joey's taking it off taking off with it him go get his ring back okay there's a sealed weapon got going is this going to cause a conflict with me talking to him but if i stop up there it's going to probably get him more emotional [Music] they came back here try to okay the thing is do what you know all that no he's talking about it no i'm talking about the guy that drove you over here troy you know troy's cat yeah where is he from uh nathan i think nathan okay what did i just need to get in my baby couldn't be driving over here i'll need to fix it get down but get down you think he'll probably get him thing is i probably don't need to stop with him that'd probably get him a little bit more amped up if it gets to if it gets to be looks like a safety issue don't worry about it i'm not worried about it but if we can get his name if we can get my deed so i can just put simply put that in a report saying that he did drive out that dragon still running small damage to it he [Music] be previous or happened after three things okay i'm gonna take i'm gonna take pictures of it and let me uh let me kind of do a roundabout on everything and see if they won't what do you got no hold on hold on in here okay we're we're leaving i'm trying to turn around we're leaving right now okay all right i'll talk to y'all a minute oh we're going to get you down here i hope i'll be able to get around can't believe i got a dwi in my backyard [Music] you fell over out here to do what i need to pee let's uh we're going to get away from here real quick the uh i think the emotions of your buddies back there getting the best of me the hell is that my damn house there's a quite a few shit go let go right right right where's that way though you know okay that is a clear drought oh yeah yeah i'm not gonna get stuck now follow the tracks take your legs oh what the where at now uh straight ahead up here yeah to the right i don't want one that freak yeah that'd be hard [Music] a g10 where are you from uh 10 15 10 19 from 10 32 to howard i will give you a 21 when this is over to give you information hey dude i'm from uh hempstead from that hope yeah yep we were getting hit so hard with calls i came over to help another trooper and then i got called over here from hempstead because they were getting hit by so many calls oh yeah yeah i'm sorry just it's just gonna be a speed bump we're gonna we'll get over it it's just gonna be a speed bump we're gonna get over it 34 years [Music] old [Music] i got the air on full blast now yeah i could [Music] sure you can't take me home 34 years i wish i could and i honestly i mean i i just i wish i could but there's a letter of the law there that i signed up for and there's an oath i knew better i knew better i knew better but [Music] i've got a problem and i've got to get it worked out [Music] oh you're good i'm not stupid years ago i had a uh a surgery weight loss surgery yep and [Music] hold the gastric sleeve and my dad's had that done yeah yep i lost like 200 pounds holy smokes and anyway that's part of what's caused my problem [Music] your body once you do that it trains itself to absorb whatever you put in it 10 times faster [Music] like a dumbass that's where i'm at [Music] that's what's sad [Music] spit out [Music] shot stabbed on the jaw [Music] what's up [Music] when you get done will you take me back home i think you're uh your brother's going to come down hey yep [Music] oh shit that rough
