Fortnite just made some major announcements for ranked, so here's everything that you need to know. So first, we are finally getting a new rank called Unreal Legends. To get this rank, you have to reach Unreal then place in the top 500 of the Unreal leaderboard, as well as holding a 2,500 plus skill rating. Once you accomplish these three things, you'll reach the Legends rank, so there will finally be a reason to keep playing even after reaching Unreal. There will also be a new rank reward being the Axe of Unreal. To get the pickaxe, you have to reach Unreal starting next season and every single season after that, if you get to Unreal, then you will unlock the next tier for the axe, making that yet another reason for the grind to Unreal. Power rankings will also finally be added to Fortnite. This is basically a point system that measures a player's skill and competitive success from tournaments. So the higher the placement you get, the more points that you get added to your power ranking. They also announced that the next season's FNCS will be in solos, along with finally adding more zero build tournaments for the zero build players. I think all of these new changes to the rank system is actually good for the game and gives you more reason to play, but many people are saying to just bring back Arena points.
