Parish Monday March 21st 2022 the Louisiana State Police with troop F conducted a traffic stop on the 2017 Hyundai Elantra on Interstate 20 for following a vehicle too [Applause] closely how you doing plates the trooper then ask the driver Gary K who was his passenger and where were they traveling from you got the call with you uh my buddy Michael what who is it my buddy Michael okay yeah for y'all through these yet but there's stuff in these too the Troopers then open a trunk and they discover a large quantity of Narcotics how much 105 105 right here 104 in the TRU that's wax that's butter right yeah okay THC got 105 in the trunk what you say 104 and there's one in the pink SE one in the pink all right give me just a sec that say hey we smell the smell since I walk the car that's what got me I asked for consent and he said no and I said man I smell it anyway so that was in here his backpack hey is that your backpack it's got your prescription meds in it it's mine yeah what's the prescription okay I got you we got a little bit of weed in there got a little bit of weed in there I'm tell you man the smell was like bad happen while waiting for another unit to transport them to the Paris jail gar then ask the Troopers about the marijuana laws in Louisiana you good what we saying what's Lou I've never looked into what's Louis say again what's Louisiana we laws marijana can't have it I mean like yeah I don't know which one what you're specifically referring I didn't know if there was any different different laws about it well I mean you can't can't this okay so uh yeah I mean it's illegal you know uh there's a there's a difference on you know depending on how much you have whether or not you get a summons or you get a res what I'm saying after searching the car the troop was found 124 lbs of marijuana inside the trunk 5 pounds of TAC Edibles five pounds of TAC pills and 34 lbs of TAC wax on the rear floorboard Garrett and his passenger did about a year in jail and they played out to 18 months probation T I'm just dude hey look and it wait till you I knew as soon as I walked up and I saw those two suitcases in the back I was like what was funny heard suicide
