this is what happens when you drive drunk and try to switch car seats with your dog on May 14th 2023 an officer from the Springfield County Police Department observes a driver speeding he notices the driver switching seats with his dog before they both exit the vehicle what a good dog to take the blame for him what's up man what's going on just hang it up uh would you mind s back in the car the officer observes two passengers in the back seat who are partially naked underneath a blanket what's going on why'd you climb out this side I didn't want to do you how much you to drink tonight huh want okay and when he jumped over if you wouldn't mind if you're okay with it I'd like to check just make sure he didn't dump anything on your in your seat that's fine okay and then his dog me but I could call him back here around okay I'll just check I'm going to check his driver seat to be honest or moved I didn't even know what's going on he's not a good decision yeah he just he didn't he just got scared yeah that's understandable I I'm not I'm not going to be too hard on him okay thank you yeah but you're more than welcome to look okay I'll open this so you can and you're welcome to get and they struck this Cur and then turned into here and then I see him fidgeting around and all a sudden I see him jump from the driver SE passer jum in the back of and naked yeah and he gets out and he just gets out I'm like what are you doing man and then and then he's like I ain't doing nothing I do nothing wrong so I went to pulled away took off running and hey brother so since they're taking you to the hospital make sure you're okay we can't do a breath test at the hospital would you be willing to do a blood test yeah okay [Music] want the suspect's blood draw contained Fentanyl and his blood alcohol content was 026 three times over the legal limit I think you mean 26 if it's that over the limit or if it's 0.026 it's way under the limit but the fentol probably did it for he was booked on charges of DUI speeding and resisting arrest the dog does not face any charges and was let go with just a warning that's clever anyway that's all I got for him uh check out real police body
