On May 4th, 2023, while on patrol, officers observed a gray jeep with what appeared to be a fake license plate. A juvenile passenger was also seen in the back seat without a seat belt, prompting a traffic stop. I got to give her props for her taste in music. I don't know if I'm going to have to mute it or not, but she's playing a little cube there and I can get down with that. Can you roll your window down for me? Uh, no, ma'am. You're being pulled over because this young man right here is not in the seat belt. Also, your tag is not coming back to anything. That's cuz it's a softset tag. They mean absolutely nothing except for, "Hey, pull me over. I'm stupid. I'm almost home. Let me drive away. Okay. Did you just understand what I told you while you're being pulled over? Okay. We can make you millions cuz traffic stops are illegal. It's because they're not illegal. It's because it's normal. It's lawful. You're stupid. It's the same thing. Um, also when I'm asking for your driver's license, um, and I'm asking you to turn down the vehicle so I can hear your name and your date of birth a little properly instead of you having the music out loud. That's just so I can hear you a little bit better. Um, you have not been identified at that time. I still need to make sure I get a photograph of you. Um, just because you give me some information that says, um, I didn't give you any information. In fact, you didn't even ask me my name. You just kept asking to have my music turned down, which I told you no. Everything's on body camera. I know it's on body camera, so we can talk about that when All my other arrests for acting a fool at a traffic stop are on body camera, too. And then when we try to get out vehicle, she can't swing and hit at the police. I'm just I'm just telling you, you can't do that. You follow what I'm saying? And we wouldn't even be there if she would have just gave the the officer identification uh and just comply with what he what we were requesting. There you go. So that's Are we done with the traffic? She was charged with resisting an officer with violence and driving while her license was suspended or revoked with knowledge. You mean to tell me she had the license, but it was suspended or revoked? That's new for a soft hit. They never had that.
