you need my license of registration for
what this is a traff stop conducting a
traffic stop right so this is a traffic
stop but for what for what why am I
stopping you yes okay well your lights
are off that was the first thing okay I
was following you I was watching you

like a ridiculous Ric right now because
my tracks are my tracks

conducting a traffic stop I'm asking you
for your license registration insurance
but I know I know my friends my friends

license registration Insurance cuz I'm
conducting a motor vehicle stop please

will provide that right thank
you
31 so for this traffic stop
131 you have a field sobriety officer uh
head this way
please it's a it's it's a
black
here so can can I know why this tra why
this traffic stop is I explained it to
you already man' but I'll explain it to
you again no I know the initial reason
was because you were driving without
your lights on okay without my lights on
that the front lights Onre correct okay
after all the lights on your vehicle
after that I was watching you drive
radically oh my goodness okay and then
you were just stopped in the
intersection so those are three reasons
right there I'm Miss please give me your
license registration insurance no
problem so there's my license no problem
my friend is a p County police officer
he has explained to me multiple times
what the procedures are um what the what
the insurance license is is is I have
it sorry my friends are just being very
drunk right now and I'm I'm just trying
to get them home that's it okay were you
drinking tonight man no God no my God
where are you coming from I had one
Margarita and that's it you know how
this work okay one Margarita I I came
from Fat Taco right there
okay okay so let
me said said the 621
right I'm going to go speak to my
partner just when you find it hand it to
that officer right there okay just call
him over he'll come over and grab it
from me
okay you good you good
uh no lights on she was driving pretty
erratic uh she was just going in circles
um stopped the intersection for a while
she's not making any sense when she's
talking to me she keeps repeating
herself okay so she had one Margarita
Fat Taco
okay how long ago I didn't all right you
want her
idea uh she's the owner yeah uh she's no
not giving me paperwork or can't find
it hi Miss Hi how are you good how's it
going good are you the owner of the
vehicle yes I am the owner of the
vehicle I am looking for my registration
right now it's p26 NAB it's just that my
my dad just switches cces so like
they're all over the place you know okay
where are you coming from from Fat Taco
Hoboken okay I'm dropping her off at her
dorm okay how much did you have to drink
oh I had two buckets but
truthfully that is below my like
Restraint of drinking two buckets of
what of
margarito I'm I'm what is your
nameyi oh nice to meet you nice to meet
you how old how old are you I'm 24 okay
yes I definitely don't know my drinking
they over here she's 21 so I'm over here
like taking care of her okay I'm looking
for my my registration license no
problem so I found my my registration is
right here because my registration you
know they're sending in the
mail no problem
gra what's your first name
Nicole okay so whose name is on this
registration my

you want to take a picture okay yeah no
problem can you do me a favor turn the
car off you I'm going to turn the car
off turn the car off please no problem
thank you
am I being stopped for a reason or yes
uh the officer stopped you for whatever
violation uh that you committed and now
that you said you're drinking and you're
showing signs that you were drinking I'm
going to test you you want me to get out
right now yes no problem where's the car
key is it in the in the purse okay can
you take it out and of
course oh that's
mine
[Applause]
sorryy it's okay don't worry about
it here you go thank you no
problem okay gra we're going to go over
here okay we're going to go on this
sidewalk Miss I'm going to put your
phone right on the driver seat okay no
problem we're going to go into here
where there's lighting all right
all
right I don't know is sorry about this
okay so we're going to stand right here
yeah what do you want me to do uh I'm
going to explain everything okay so do
you have uh any medical history I should
know about okay you wear contacts or
glasses or anything contacts contacts
okay so the first thing I'm going to do
is I'm going to check your eyes Okay mhm
so what I want you to do is to follow
the tip of this pen yeah okay
you're going to move your eyes only
you're going to keep your head still do
you understand that yes I understand
okay any questions no no
questions keep your head still right I
just said keep your head
still sorry I got a lazy eye so if it's
if it's wrong that's my fault you're
[Applause]
good okay you comfortable in those
sneakers y do two more tests for you all
right definitely no problem so just
listen to me I'm going to explain it and
demonstrate it okay so the next test is
the walk and turn test okay so what I
want to do right now we're going to
create imaginary line in this in these
bricks okay yeah so just create
imaginary line you're going to put your
left foot down with your right foot in
front heel touching your toe with your
arms at your side no arms at your side
Left Foot Right Right Foot In Front heel
touching your tail don't start anything
I told you to just wait and don't start
I'm not a model so I okay Miss don't
start anything okay so Left Foot Down
Right Foot In Front arms at your side
left foot down right foot fr uh-huh
right so you're flipped right now you
got to fix your feet what do you mean
left foot left foot down this is my left
foot correct with your right foot in
front of your left foot okay arms at
your
side okay so don't start anything you
got to get in the position I I am you
see how my yes can you can you yes
please thank you
yep so what I want you to do is just
listen to me I'm going to demonstrate it
you're going to take nine steps forward
and nine step steps back I'm going to
demonstrate three okay three and three
all right so one two three this is on my
third step you're going to take nine
you're going to take nine though you
understand that okay on your ninth step
you're going to stay plant you're going
to take small choppy steps around right
and then continue back one two three yes
so you're going to take those nine steps
nine steps back the entire time I want
you looking at your feet
counting your steps out loud keeping
your arms at your side okay okay Officer
looking at my feet you say look at your
feet like I did I was watching my feet
okay any other questions no no question
okay you can begin the test make sure
okay you can begin the test one two 3 4
5 6 7 8 9 10 okay you got to go back
like I right I'm sorry my friends a Pake
you know Police Department
you know I just want to make sure I'm
doing it right 1 2 3 4 5
6 okay we're going to do one more test
okay
um your feet are going to be together
your arms are going to be at your side
you're not going to start anything until
I tell you to do so you understand that
okay so when I tell you to do so you're
going to lift one of your feet
approximately 6 in 6 in off the ground
doesn't matter just let me finish 6 in
off the ground with your foot parallel
to the ground okay I'm going to
demonstrate it also you can lift your
right or your leg uh right or your left
leg the the leg that you choose the foot
that you choose you're going to look at
that elevated foot and you're going to
count out loud 1,1 1,2 1003 oh my gosh
my balance is not that it's okay it's
okay I'm going to show you let's you
want you feel more comfortable doing on
maybe my Bal is
not so stay right there okay okay so
what I'm going to demonstrate it ready
mhm 10001 10002 13 10004 1005 10006 and
so forth either leg you're choosing arms
at your side you're going to lift one of
your legs keep it straight and count out
loud and I'll tell you want to stop you
understand that yes I understand right
now yeah yeah okay 1001
1002 my my address is not that okay my
my 1001 100 3 1004
1005 1006 we're going to have a one
female 10 25450 start how much do I need
to succeed this test so what I want you
to do is put your arms out put your arms
behind your back all right you're going
to be placed under arrest for drive
while intoxicated you failed all my test
okay I am not intoxicated right now you
are severely intoxicated that's why I
put you through these tests so we're
going to make it listen to me Miss I
want to make it nice and easy for you
we're going to bring you right up the
block to headquarters I'm going to read
your statement see if you want to submit
to blowing in the machine and we'll get
you out out of there in a couple of
hours okay sir I need you to understand
that I'm not intoxicated right now I'm
trying to get my friend's home right now
so I'm going to put you on the machine
and then you can prove that on the
machine that you're not intoxicated okay
no
problem I told him I told him got too
okay oh yeah yeah
31 all right can you have a female
officer respond to headquarters please
stand gry there's a female officer have
to respond to headquarters to me yes
they're going to discharge you okay okay
no
problem you're gonna walk over here yeah
no problem gr I got to put her in in
yours you know a balance test is not the
best test of following someone just so
you know okay just face this car and
spread your legs out real quickly okay
no no face the car face the car spread
your legs up
okay this that's
fine you have anything on you just going
to stab me poke me or anything like that
just lip gloss lip gloss okay
M sir I'm a teacher I don't think
understand Asain no I understand I
understand that I fail the test but
balance is something that some people
it's one to just balance though I put
you through a couple of test understand
but balance is something that some
people like I'm going to grab your phone
and your car keys out of your car no I'm
going to put this on the driver seat of
your car okay sir can we have a seat in
the car sir can I know your name your
your last name is kaso too y we spoke
about it already please get in the no
problem going to put the seat belt on

to get towed okay gry I really don't
think that's sorry that's necessary I'm
sorry sir I am not drunk right now it's
just a law I know it's a law but I'm not
drunk right now and I'm trying to get my
friends home okay we're going to bring
you up now okay I'll explain to you more
when we get up sir I really don't think

limit
