I'm like, "You didn't even look in the parking lot." She's like, "Well, they were over here. I'm looking. I don't see them." So, she was already trying to cover for them right away. She's homeless. Um, just explain me kind of what occurred. >> Um, so she came over to cash a non-c customer check and the actually the writing didn't look good to me. So I just looked up the and plus it was from Blake Mary. So I looked it up just to see if the signature match and it didn't match >> basically. >> And I'm assuming you guys can look up the the person that has the check. You can look up their signature signature. >> Okay. And that cued you that the signature did not match. Well, the first thing they cued me is because the check is from like Mary. >> Okay. >> So, that and then I looked it up. Okay. And it didn't match the signature. And then that's when I brought the check over to them. >> Okay. Did you say anything to her? Did she say anything to you? >> Um, well, I tried to keep her here since I knew you guys were coming, right? So, I just asked her about Thanksgiving. >> Did she say anything? She said that she's from she's going to have Thanksgiving in Mims and that her ride is here waiting for her cuz she kept getting up and looking outside and but I didn't see a car because she said it was like a four-door car. Four-door. They just got it. It's new. It's either black or blue. It's a four-door. And I asked her who was waiting in the car and she said it's my family from Ohio. >> Did she provide you with an ID? I gave you. Yeah. Yeah, I gave it to them. I already gave it to them. Yeah. She gave me an ID and a PayPal credit card. >> Okay. She seemed nervous to you. >> No, she seems pretty relaxed. I did not speak with the bank bank manager yet. The basically what happened is she went in and she went and spoke with this lady that is the um the teller and the teller said it cued her that she thought it was odd that the this is out of Lake Mary >> and then she said the signature doesn't match. >> So then from there she brought it to her uh branch or branch manager. That's when the manager contacted the owner and was like hey uh did you write a check for this? She said no. Our car got burglarized last night in Lake Mary >> and the checks were >> last night out of Lake Mary. >> No, she just the the bank manager has like a p all the stuff compiled and um she said that the signature didn't match. So she called the owner and the owner was like, "Yeah, we we had a burglary last night and our checks were stolen and my husband's gun was stolen out of Lake Mary." The teller said that the signature was off and that the check was out of Lake Mary. That that's what prompted them to look into it and they called the owner of the checks and >> don't think you're being entirely honest with us. I have a hard time. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE. I was walking >> Well, let me tell you something. Along with those checks last night, a gun was stolen. >> I don't know anything about that. I know I can tell you WHERE I WAS. LIKE I HAVE A for yesterday. I was not even What do they look like? the people that brought >> they're like the one guy he was like not Hispanic but he kind of like looked like Asian. He wasn't like >> I don't I honestly don't remember. It was like a blackish bluish color. They parked right there next to the van. And when I looked out when I was in line, they were gone. The one guy, he had tattoos everywhere on him. I don't know who he was. >> Why is what you just told all of us different than what you told them? >> I really don't know who they are.
