How you doing man? We have a couple questions about this because we get an information that this has been installed. So I mean actually the customer is not even so and you know and we give you the cash. >> Okay. But we give you the cash on you like $5,000 alone. The $500 was deposited into the account and it wasn't reported it. So that has been recorded right now at this point and you know this is not the signature from the dome as well. >> So we want to know >> what's the person's name on there. >> I'm being detained. >> Let me talk. What's the person's name? >> And what's your name? >> Yeah, that's your name. Stay in front of me, bro. We can go to the office in the middle. Yeah. [Music] Up till 11. >> Is that that only stuff you added? want to do it. >> Yeah. >> So he went to Lake Bro to open an account over there. So they open an account on Saturday and then he came back on Monday with his check. So this customer lives in medical and well the account it looks like they steal checks from his account. So they watch it. I don't know what they do and they he went over there get the money get 5,000 something and then 500 was supposed to account or fraud the apartment. They noticed >> 500 was deposited from what account? >> To his account and the other five he get in cash. >> You got in cash and then what person that's a person's name. Yeah, him to him. So >> he check his paper to himself. So yeah. So >> and where's the person's name? The victim >> owner of this one >> Randy. >> So for department already restrict the account from this guy his account. So he came today to trying to increase his account because account has been restricted. So and he also trying to he went yesterday to spring to try to catch another child for 8,000. You tried yesterday? >> Yeah, I tried yesterday. >> I'm good. >> Same check. >> Same check. >> Mhm. >> All right, man. Give me a second. I'm um bring something out cuz I need a statement from you. >> All right. Sounds good. >> Yeah. >> All right. Stand up. Step on there. Lean on the car. Put your feet. Yeah. >> This side or that side? >> Just need to stay away from you to what happened to me, right? All right. This is a swarm recorded interview reference PBSO case number 255075326. The date is June 1st, July 1st, sorry, 2025. The time is now 161800 hours. This interview is being conducted at 10:31 South Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415 at the T Bank Branch. Um, I am Deputy Kendall, ID number 42590 with PSO. Present with me is Deputy Butler. ID number >> 37926. All right. >> Um, present with me is subject. What's your name, sir? >> I am. >> Who was identified verbally? Who was wearing black over gray pants? Do you speak English? >> Yes. >> Are you under the influence of any medications that would affect your ability to tell the truth or understand the question I'm about to ask you? >> No. >> All right, man. So basically giving the rundown from when this individual came to the bank today. >> Okay. So this guy came today to trying to unfreeze his account. >> So apparently it was a fraud activity reported. >> So when they start reviewing the his profile so it was a note for our fraud department that it was a check that it was a um a fake check. So it was a trade check. So he went to another location previous like Saturday, opening the account, came back on Monday and cashing a check for 6,000 something. >> You're saying he altered the check. Correct. >> Correct. So >> for how much do you know? >> Well, 6,000 something is a check. So I don't remember. >> So was the one you have it on physical that I show you. >> So and um over there in Lake Rome location. So they cash the check because the funds it was available >> and they verify they called to try to verify those funds. I don't know if it was able to do it but they cash it out. They give you 5,000 something change to this guy and then the different was deposited into his uh personal account. >> So that's after 2 days it looked like the owner of the account that was reported in his account that is being like couple checks being cashing. It's not the only one. There's a couple more. >> The owner of all of the checks. >> Yes. He already report his account. The account has been reported. >> So because it was multiple checks has been cashing. >> So So the bank gave the money. Did you guys refund the complaints? All the people that said, "Hey, the money. >> We haven't been refund any money yet like from the original from the customer because anyway has to the customer has to go the owner of the account in order he has to go in the branch and do a dispute for these checks. So that way T bank can refund the money. So it's a loss anyway from the bank. >> So it's loss for him. So >> for him first and then for the bank. >> So not you yet? >> Not not us yet. >> Are you able to provide us with the information of the victim? >> Like the name? >> Yeah. Name and phone number. >> The phone number victim right now. >> Right. The phone number that is on file is actually being changed. So we don't know. I don't know which is the correct phone number because that's a comment from from department. >> What about current address? >> We have a name and a current address on from him. So that can be provided that information. >> Can you provide us? >> Yes. I don't know. >> Um once you came here >> Mhm. >> reference, how much money did you guys give him today? Did you give any prov? >> No money today to him. So, >> like it was previewed like yesterday and that's it. And like I mentioned before, he went to another branch trying to cash in another check for over 8,000, but he was returned. So, they say no. >> So, the only check that went through was the one yesterday. >> The one he cashed for. Yes. It is couple more checks, but I don't know who was personally being cash on those, >> but it wasn't they weren't cashed. >> I'm not sure yet about that. I mean, I didn't take a look at the whole authorized information. How long it take you to do that? >> I mean go just in the system and see if those checks in they are actually valid or the customer recognize it. >> Because the reason I ask is that's separate victims, separate charges. I mean that's that's a big deal. >> Mhm. >> Right. >> It is. I know. >> All right. How many people are involved that you guys know of? Like how many victims? >> It's just one customer. only one customer >> that you know cuz you said that you don't know if the other check is cash. >> Yeah, the other I don't know the other ones. I mean they already posted in the account so it means that probably can be cash or we it was deposited. So I don't know what it was like the transaction specific but they're posting. >> So you're saying they they haven't cleared yet but they're still can you freeze them? >> I mean probably they're already frozen account so nothing's going to go through. >> Okay. So only one check can go and went through which is >> the one we give you they gave the money to him. >> All right. Can you get us the information for that guy? We're going to have to make contact with him cuz right now he is the apparent victim. >> Mhm. >> If you guys refund him the money then you'll be the victim. So at least we'll have both statements. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Is there anything else that we failed to ask that you would like to add to the statement? No. >> Time is now 60 16 2400 hours here. >> So, I'm going to call this guy. He's the store manager of the other bank and see if we can't get 59. I guess they're familiar with this guy. You called him and made him aware of it. >> Yeah, dude. This is definitely something >> like one of those defraudings. [Music] >> It's become more and more popular to be honest with you. days, bro. That's what they're doing nowadays. >> Yeah. >> So, the reason I'm calling you is in regards to a young Hispanic male who tried cashing fraudulent checks. I guess he was in your store on Saturday. Are you familiar with the situation? >> Yeah, he opened the account with my um representative on Saturday and I believe yesterday he came in from with that legend. Yes, perfect. I'm glad that you're familiar. So, are you able to provide me with the surveillance of him coming into the bank and cashing the check? >> Uh, we would have to request that from our uh surveillance team. >> Okay. >> I have to find the time of the transaction to have that to have that pulled up. >> Well, I tried getting uh Allan to look it up, but and all he could give me was the posted date. I guess he wasn't able to find it. transaction. >> Yeah, it just said the posted date was the 30th. >> Yeah, but yesterday I know it was on like noon noon time. So that transaction see >> and how long do you think that could if I So what I'm asking is if I send you a link, would you be able to have that video uploaded to the link? >> No, they might not. They just like a picture. You won't be in the whole video cuz the whole video. >> It's a subpoena room. >> Okay. But but without the subpoena, you'd still provide the pictures of him entering the bank and everything. >> Yeah. If I if I if I just send me a picture of it, they have to be subpoena. >> Yeah. I'm sure they'll want the video in the future, you know, in reference to this. But I mean, if all I can get as of right now is a picture, that'd be cool. If you guys can get like a closeup of his face walking to the band, is that something you think you can do? >> Yeah. May took a couple days to get it, but from the time he came in pull it up from me. >> Okay, sounds perfect, man. I appreciate your help. Thank you. And what we're going to do is we're going to send that link over to you right now in your email. If you can have your surveillance team post a picture as soon as possible, that'd be great. Yes, but I said I'm not sure if it might be too big, but I'll request it now. But hopefully by tomorrow we'll get it. >> Okay, sounds good. Thank you. >> All right. Hey, what's up, dudes? So, I'm Detective Okconor. Um, clearly you're under arrest, so I'm going to read you your rights, okay? And then I'm going to talk to you about a few things and we'll take you back to the district where there's air conditioning and, you know, all that jazz. Just make sure that you tell me you understand so that you understand. Okay. If he has your phone, we can get it. I promise. >> I need some phone numbers I got to take down. >> What's that? >> Some phone numbers I wanted to take down. >> Okay. Yeah, we can get it. He's not going to be far away. We can call him. We know who he was. I know the guy kind of. All right. Listen. So, quick question. What? That black car. Is that the car you came in? >> Yeah, >> it is. Okay. Whose car is that? >> My grandma's. >> Your grandma's car. Where's the keys at? >> He took it. >> Who took it? That >> dude in that car? >> The deputy has the keys? >> As far as I know. You had the keys on you though. >> Yeah. >> Was somebody else in the car? >> What? >> Was somebody else in the car with you when you came here? >> No. >> No. Okay. So, you got out and you walked in, you had the keys on you, and when you got arrested, you had the keys on you? >> Yeah. >> I just got to find the keys. >> He took my phone, my wallet, the keys. That's all. >> Okay. Well, we'll we'll get all that. Um, >> your grandma know you have your car, her car? Yeah. >> You live with her? >> Where do you live? What's your address? That's what house? >> My grandma's house. >> Your grandma's house. That's the address that you use. Yeah. >> Okay. Um I'm going to get your phone and all that stuff right now. I'll have you sit in the car and then I'll I'll get you over to the district. But um you have your grandma's number or is that in your phone? >> Uh my grandma's number is >> Hold on.
