It's a lot of cash. >> It's a lot of cash. thing here. What's it 200 for the money count? >> What's the >> like threshold? >> Yeah. >> For like the money count sheet. >> Yeah. >> Uh like 1 cent. >> Not 200 though. >> Think of my old days where it's like you have to have a supervisor come and do onseam count. >> No. Any money that's that's taken. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Oh, if we take it. >> Yeah. If we take it. If it goes to jail with her, we don't you don't have to count. >> No. If like he arrested someone on like a traffic stop and they had like over $200, you had to call a sergeant to come over and count. >> I mean, it's all on body camera now. It has to be. So, >> yeah. >> The owners. Um, how was she? >> What's that? She's crying. Sad. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Uh she's got a little wallet purse on the passenger seats. Got a stack of cash in it. And then she had what? Two bundles of cash on her. I guess one here. >> Okay. Well, you guys are good. I'll talk to you now. You guys are good. >> Okay. You want to do it here? >> She's on your side. >> Did you read her at all? Hey, Ann. >> Hello. >> How are you? >> Good. >> Um, I'm Detective Raymond with the Pel County Sheriff's Office. Um, I work in the Economic Crimes Unit at the Sheriff's Office. Okay. Um, so I have some things that I need to talk to you about, but before I do that, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. You ever been arrested before? >> Nothing major. Nothing major. >> Well, it's just like the movies. Um, you know, you're the Miranda rights red. Okay. All right. Do you understand that you have the right to remain silent? >> Yes. And then having to speak with me. >> So I am here to talk to you about your employment here with home plate. Um how long have you been working here? Was it something else before? Was it a different restaurant before the name? >> Uh, I don't know. >> Okay. Do you have any idea why I would be speaking with you? >> Okay. What What days do you typically work? >> Uh, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yeah. Are those full 8 hour shifts? And what is your a waitress or how much do you make being a waitress here? >> Uh between 150. Is that including tips and stuff? [Music] Um, now Ann, I I I want you to be completely honest with me, okay? It's it's certainly not the end of the world. Um, but there's obviously some serious stuff that we got to talk about. Um, but I'll be honest with you if you're honest with me, okay? which way and help them out a lot further. Okay. Um now when you have you ever taken any cash out of a you changed any orders or canceled any out cash out so remember when I said be honest with me. Okay. That's that's what we need here is honesty. Okay. There's going to be some things that you're going to have to explain and if you're not going to be honest with me, it's not going to go very well. So my next question, how do you explain the number of cancel items that you have just in the last year compared to your co-workers, which are very significant. So, your co-workers have only had about $1,200 in cancelled items. Yours are in $15,000. What's that explanation? How do you explain that? >> Honesty is important here. Okay. >> Yeah, I know. I I >> I've already I already talk to everyone I need to. I know the answers to a lot of the questions I'm asking, which is why I'm asking you to be honest. Okay. There's documentation. Okay. There's there's evidence that supports what we're seeing. Okay. So, explain to me that difference. >> Is it a financial crunch? Is it something that I mean are you just >> I know I put mine in and that you know cancel and stuff but that's and if it's listen just just be honest with me and and it's if it's going on something else you're in a financial and you saw >> I probably am but >> but listen but you saw an opportunity thought maybe okay this will this will help. I'll just do it once. Okay, then you know what? It did help, but now I have this going on when we do it twice and then it just gets out of hand and gets away from us. We all make mistakes like that. Okay, the big part is holding up to it so that we can move beyond it and move past it. We'll try it. If I'm totally on base and that's not what it is, I' I'd rather know the truth. I'd rather know what's really going on. I certainly don't think you're a bad person. I think times are tough for a lot of people right now. And sometimes opportunities present themselves and when we're desperate, you know, we do what we have what we think we have to do, especially now times. I don't know if we were affected by the storm storms. I don't know if there's other stuff going on, but get it. I'm going to burn myself. Like, it is what it is. >> Um, where's this guy? Like I said, I I just want an honest. So if that's what's happening, then we can move to the next step and move forward and move faster. >> So is that what's is that what's happening? >> I need the lawyer. I don't know. >> Um, so you said earlier that your sus your license was suspended up in Jersey. >> Yeah. >> What for do you remember? >> I'm sorry. >> What four do you remember? >> I don't. I'm sorry. Was it like tickets, DUI? >> Uh, no. DUI. >> Oh, was it like child support or something like that? >> I got to be something that you did or something happened like Just give me an idea. >> I think uh not going to court. >> So, you missed a court date and they suspended. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Um, and then you try Have you tried to get one down in Florida? >> Uh, yeah. >> And they say what? >> I got to uh >> fix that one. New Jersey. >> Interesting. All right. So, you know, you can't be driving without a license on here, right? It's criminal. >> Um, how often do you drive? >> I'm sorry. >> How often are you driving? Cuz that's bad news. If you get in a crash and like, heaven forbid, someone gets hurt. >> Um, >> that's bad. Bad. >> Just work. >> Whose car is it? >> Uh, my daughter's. >> Why don't you just get her to drop you off? Clearly, she doesn't need the car right now. She could just drive and drop you, >> right? Um, man, she's got twins. We We just been going through a lot. Oh, so she >> I just try to make it easier. >> Got mama duties right now at home. Is that why? Okay. >> They've been in there for quite a bit. >> What is it? >> Um, a pill. >> I know that, but like what kind of pill? >> Um, I don't know. My friend gave it to me for my knee. >> All right. Give me a second. I just found something in you. >> Thanks. >> All right. We have to put this right here in front of my job. >> Yeah. I don't think you're going to be working here anymore, though, either. >> It's Adderall. You have prescription for it? >> No. >> Why is she giving you Adderall for your knee pain? >> Uh, I don't know if that was the right one or not. I think >> you think she gave you the wrong one? >> Yeah. Well, I asked her the uh last time she gave me a white one. I think it was uh I I don't know. >> Okay. >> She was charged with suspended license, possession of paraphernalia, and fraud. Thanks for watching. Be sure to subscribe for more videos like this.
