My name is Brian Coberger. At approximately 4:20 a.m., my white Elantre was captured on a neighbor's camera, leaving the area at a high rate of speed. To avoid main surveillance routes, I drove a ciruitous route along back roads from Moscow back to my apartment in Pullman, Washington. My phone did not reconnect to the network until 4:48 a.m. And by 5:26 a.m., I was back in Pullman. The subsequent days were dedicated to forensic countermeasures. When investigators later searched my apartment, [Music] >> police department, search warrant, come to the door. >> The lead prosecutor described it as spartan. The interior of my car had been, in his words, meticulously cleaned and essentially disassembled inside. The sheath was the unraveling. On December 27th, Pennsylvania agents recovered trash from my family's home. The lab reported that a DNA profile from that trash identified a male as not being excluded as the biological father of the suspect profile found on the sheath. During my arraignment, I remain silent. Now I have been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
