an ongoing shoplifting incident they were informed by the caller that two females were attempting to remove tags from merchandise and conceal them in their purses upon being approached by the officer both individuals became agitated and were unwilling to cooperate here's how the events unfolded hey guys what's going on Monster balloon police partially on camera have we been going to lot of stores lately no no so why have we been getting calls by you two ripping off magnet tags what ripping off magnet tags I just came out of America Eagle so security said they've seen you guys rip off multiple magnet tags off they ain't seen me do nothing we can go back to American Eagle there you guys free to go all right you guys are standing right here all right no I'm saying we can go to American Eagle that's where we just left we just came in here all right you guys are not free to leave we're fig till we figure out what's going on all right that's what we've been told we have to go off that all right we just walked in here I they said you were an American Eagle Foot Locker I walked and finish line ask for some why he didn't say nothing to me so I'm so we figure out what's going on man you won't come over here what we got to do what we going to do do you mind open up your purse so we see what so make sure there's no items in there that might be still on that's crazy no all right that's fine so we've got multiple people saying we've seen it we've got multip people saying otherwise and usually what happens they put in their purse where we need to go back to America eag both of them uh had a person since he seen me call him back over here he is he's over there call him back over here he ain't seen me with a purse since I've been in here and I see him in American Eagle and I walk down the Finish Line he walked by over there haven't had a person since I came in this mall all right like I said that's what the information we've been given and he like he said we was riing riing jail but then you'll be able to bond out yeah so when like can I bond out today yeah you should be able to bond out today like I mean so there's levels of retail theft right if it's over $300 then it's a felony if it's under it's a misdemeanor I'm guessing five pairs of jeans is going to be right I don't know I don't know how much they're no five pair of but I'm just explaining to you like the few minutes and we'll go from there okay the officers found the missing merchandise with tags removed near where the female was standing y it's 3:30 uh then we were talking to them and then air comes in it's like hey we found the pair of jeans with the with the tag removed exactly where they were standing when I come on scene and one the black shirt she was holding a pair of jeans she saw me and just went and set them down that exact pair of jeans was one the tag ripped off and that was 3030 pair as well is that so did we find the rest of this stuff or just that it's all it's all it's long gone so essentially you went back there into the back corner started rumaging through some clothing making a mess and took a knee and I took a what bent down put put the clothes in your purse and when it come to the exact same location where you were standing they found Four Tags miraculously where you were standing I didn't take nothing though go where the camera at and then you came in originally with a bag full of stuff what a bag full of stuff and now your bag's empty I didn't come and then when where you walked by on the exit there's a pair of jeans with one with a tag directly in the pocket right where you were standing pretty and also this was on your pants I was up in there though same pair same pair of jeans that was stolen I didn't take none they was on there uhhuh how they get on your pants they was on it cuz I was grabbing them I can lift it up I can pull them up who said I can't touch it so when you pick something up you don't just rub it against your pants like that no it came off cuz it was already coming off I didn't take nothing we we've got more than enough Tak you for retail theft so and as well when we go to aost I see you on scene I see you with a pair of jeans and you see me put those jeans down that same pair of jeans s associate came up said their tag was removed from that pair of jeans no they was not how'd that tag get off that pair of jeans you were holding how I you just you looked at my thing and you seen that I didn't have no sensor remover we didn't check your sister go check her I don't know where she's at so y'all let her go she we didn't have charges on her okay so we're you good get in the car is you serious yep y'all don't even got nothing on me I thought y'all said y'all had a camera we we've got more enough they're working
