On May 7th, 2025, deputies with the Flaggler County Sheriff's Office responded to a TJ Maxx in Palm Coast, Florida, following a report of two women shoplifting. [Music] The suspects pretended to shop while discreetly stuffing clothing into a black bag one of them was carrying. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey, Heat. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] Once they were done shopping, they walked out of the store separately without paying a dime. A TJ Maxx employee confronted the women outside and was able to recover some of the stolen merchandise. The employee then quickly contacted law enforcement and provided detailed descriptions of both suspects and their vehicle. FCSO deputies quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop less than 2 mi from the store. How you doing? Step out of the car for me. I need 60. I believe it's going to be them. I got three females in the car. I think they're all involved. Oh, you're fine. Where y'all coming from? Huh? What? What? No. Okay, quit. I said step out of the car, didn't I? And the other thing is all the stolen all the tags that are all pulled off are all right in front of where you're sitting in the back. I swear for God that was not me, sir. I'm from Gainesville. I was just with her cuz that's my child's godmother. Yeah. All she said was, "I need somebody to ride with." I said, "Okay, cool." Problem is is that they come out of here with all this stuff with no bags, no receipts. You're laying on top of all of it. I wasn't doing it like that to hide it. I was not doing that. She was arrested for pettit theft with two or more prior convictions, possession of marijuana, under 20 g, drug paraphernalia, possession of an anti-shoplifting device, and driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender. You never went in any store? The guy? No, sir. Was she in any of these stores? No. Cuz we're going to find out if you were We could all go in the cameras. The second suspect was charged with pettit theft with prior convictions and possession of an anti-shoplifting device. Both were transported to jail for booking. The third woman, who hadn't entered the store, was released without charges. Get pictures of them. Really? Yeah. You need to get good pictures of her before you cut her loose. No, don't do that.
