right [Music] here on April 13th 2024 the calm of a quiet neighborhood was shattered by a dispute that Drew police attention the incident involved a woman who threatened to make false accusations against her boyfriend an act that could have severe legal consequences for him police responded to this scene where the setting was a modest apartment temporarily occupied by a man whose niece was out of town the man told the police that he had been paying to stay there enjoying the Solitude of the empty space but the Tranquility was disrupted when his girlfriend who did not live there and had been in and out over the previous night returned early in the morning what's going on again man this girl I went stand all time weird stuff out her mou or I can call them back and tell them that you pulled my hair and SLA me you'll get arrested on the spot or I can call them back and tell them that you just tried to rap me they'll come back and arrest you on a spot they won't even ask you any questions I don't want nobody around me like that if you she going to call y'all and tell y'all that I just tried to rape her and stuff like that I don't even want her here so what okay so you said she got here last night is that what you telling me no she was here last night she left she left she doesn't live here she doesn't live here I don't even live here this is my niece's house I'm only here CU my niece is out of town and I was paying her to stay here because just an empty apartment right now so so but she came here last night she came here this morning she left she was gone okay what I'm saying prior to her leaving where was she was she here or she yeah prior to her leaving she was here last night okay she came here last night she left and came back this morning yeah she just got back this morning like 6 something this morning I was in that sleep okay let me get that from what I'm getting now you just want her to leave is this what I'm getting yeah because if she going say like like 15 minutes at the most probably 20 minutes I was on the phone the situation intensified quickly when the girlfriend began to threaten to falsely accuse her boyfriend of severe crime including attempted assault her threats were not just empty words they were dangerous and manipulative tactics that could have led to his immediate arrest without question so here's the thing get out ma' I been literally I was dead sleep and it tell me to wake up out my sleep to get out' so I just told I called the police the first time once he tried to put his hands on me exactly this this man just tried to put his hands on me and they didn't do man I called the police and they left the first time he C them back a second time once I'm sleep I'm not doing to this man I'm perfectly sleep I'm laying down dead sleep I literally just got woke up by the police telling me that I need to leave because he just called them okay man so the of the police exactly because I I literally just got woke up on my sleep for a second time for a second time after he just told me the boyfriend concerned for his safety and legal standing decided it was best if the woman left the apartment his priority was to remove himself from a potentially damaging situation he expressed his frustration and fear to the responding officers explaining that he could not have someone so volatile in his proximity someone who could so casually threaten to ruin his life after I after I be quiet you might end up going to jail for disly conduct okay I'm I'm not going to get I'm not I'm not I'm at my I'm home I'm sleep and I'm not I'm not going to get I'm not going to get in for nothing I just talked to the the house just to leave I'm not going to get for nothing I'm not going want you to leave I'm not going to get in jail for literally got woke up out in my sleep the girlfriend was inside the apartment while the boyfriend had been waiting outside for her to leave anxiously I want you grab your stuff and leave charges so I intervention as the situation progressed the police focused on conv ing the woman to leave the apartment voluntarily finally the woman was given a few minutes to gather her belongings and leave the police made it clear that if she did not comply they would have to take further action including possibly charging her with trespassing if she refused to leave after being formly asked to do so what claiming that they had purchased them and therefore had the right to keep them I bought it I bought it so it's mine so how you going to do go grab and leave as long as I'm on the property you can't confrontation they maintained that they were in constant communication with their sister who was aware of the situation and could substantiate their claims and I got phone calls to prove everything my sister was on the phone with me the whole time so what you want to do the first time I called y'all y'all do [ __ ] you took his side before you even to me me so what you want to do you took my side before you even even talk you took his side before you even talked to me and I was on the phone with my sister the whole time you didn't want to talk go gra your [ __ ] talking about the reason why I understanding what is y'all doing y'all still here the police warned the individual about the potential legal repercussions of not complying with orders to leave the premises as the individual continued to resist and the situation became more heated the police decided that the individual's actions were disruptive enough to warrant arrest man we want you off the property man and I'm off thew is not our property public property the sidewalk is part of your property actually the sidewalk I'm on the sidewalk I'm going to explain to you this is Public public housing this is public housing
